Total Miz Island - Miz and Mrs. recap for July 30, 2019

Mike and Maryse do a photo shoot for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Both of them miss being around their daughter Monroe.

At Smackdown Live in Los Angeles, California, Mike talks with R-Truth about baby-proofing his house.

Back home, Mike and Maryse go shopping for a dress for Monroe for Evolution. Maryse reveals that Monroe has a stylist, much to Mike's surprise.

At Castle Marmiz, Mike and Maryse proceed to baby-proof their home, starting with the wall outlets. They then proceed to put a camera on Monroe's walker to see the house from Monroe's vantage point. Marjo shows up and talks about how her trip from The Cheesecake Factory went, then Monroe manages to grab the handle for the oven door in the kitchen.

Later that night, Mike and Maryse try to get Monroe to crawl. Maryse wants to go to Evolution, but she also has to take care of Monroe.

The next day, Mike tries to baby-proof Castle Marmiz further by locking any doors - be it a cabinet, an oven or a toilet - and setting up gates throughout the house. Hard edges are covered with pool noodles in case Monroe bumps into anything.

Mike sets up a harness for Monroe to try to get her to crawl, but Barbara, Marjo and Maryse are having none of it.

Mike, Barbara and Marjo take Monroe to baby yoga class. Marjo accidentally rips her pants. Mike tries to get Monroe to crawl, but it doesn't happen.

Mike comes back from home to find out that the toilet locks have been broken. Also, some of the locks have been removed because neither Maryse or Marjo can do anything in the house. Mike says he will re-assess the baby-proofing of the house.

At SmackDown Live in Lafayette, Louisiana, Mike gets a call from Maryse stating that Monroe crawled, much to Mike's disappointment. Monroe did, however, get footage of Monroe's first crawl. Mike sees it and shows it to Asuka.

Back at home, Mike gets Maryse and Monroe gifts: a dozen cupcakes and a private jet to take Maryse and Monroe to Evolution. Mike is doing this to pull back and focus on what is important as a father.

The next day, Mike finds one of the toilet seats lifted up, and it soon becomes apparent that Monroe lifted it up. Maryse - who has had Monroe's fingers in her mouth - has to brush her teeth after hearing about this, then gives Mike permission to put the toilet locks back on the toilet.

At Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York, Mike, Maryse and Monroe are at Evolution, where Monroe gets to meet some of the Superstars and Maryse is happy to be at the event with her entire family.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for July 30, 2019

In footage from earlier today, Shane McMahon announces he will not be part of SmackDown Live tonight, and blames his absence on Kevin Owens. He says that tonight was supposed to be his payback, but his life coach has told him that he should get his emotions in check and that he has gotten the match with Owens that he wants. He says Owens' career is over and that Owens will call him the better man before quitting.

Kevin Owens shows up. He asks that nobody panic, for while Shane McMahon is not here tonight, everyone can get through the night together. He reassures Shane that him not being here is great news, as SmackDown Live can be about the talent and not Shane's "stupid face." He then tells Shane to bring his "stupid face" and his entire "stupid body" to SummerSlam, as he is not going to quit because he will beat him so badly that he will realize he does not belong in the ring with people like him. Owens says that while this may not stop Shane from showing up, it will ensure that this is "The Kevin Owens Show" and his ring, not Shane's. Suddenly, Drew McIntyre shows up. McIntyre tells Owens "You talk too much," then tells Owens he has a match against him tonight before smacking him with the microphone with a cheap shot before tossing Owens around. McIntyre then tells Owens that the match is happening right now.

Kevin Owens beats Drew McIntyre.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler does not care if anybody is upset about his actions, and says Mick Foley got decimated by Bray Wyatt because he did not belong in a ring, that we have seen Goldberg's last match, and that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels made a mistake putting his hands on him. While Seth Rollins got his hands on him, Lesnar beat the hell out him, and at SummerSlam, he goes one-on-one with The Miz. As for tonight, his opponent Finn Balor is stuck at the past, and he is the future.

Backstage, Bayley meets with Ember Moon. Even though Ember hit her with a Eclipse, they are teaming together and will get through tonight. She then warns her she will regret it if she tries something again, however.

We hear from Aleister Black, who says he cannot help but think he is different, and that his redemption lies in the blood of his soul. He says his benediction and salvation lies in strife, and that is comes from anybody wanting to pick a fight with him. He found it in Cesaro, but he now wants to know how to move on from here, for he is in his self-imposed prison waiting for another fight.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross beat Bayley and Ember Moon. After the match, Bayley helps Ember Moon, then hits her with the Bayley-to-Belly.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Sami Zayn. Sami is here scoping out the competition, but all he sees is people complaining and feeling sorry for themselves, then says Aleister Black is in the most pain, saying he is begging for help after failing to live up to his own hype. Sami goes on to say that Aleister stays in the dark for fear that his illusion would come crumbling down, and that he has decided to beat Aleister Black and expose him, ending his hype at SummerSlam.

It is announced that "The Big Show Show" will be coming soon to Netflix.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews "The New" Daniel Bryan and Rowan, but Daniel and Rowan walk away before Daniel makes his career-altering announcement.

It's time for The King's Court. Tonight's guest is Trish Stratus. The two of them talk about Raw Reunion, then talks about how all the Legends wished they had one last match. On that subject, Trish is about to answer whether or not she wants that match when Charlotte Flair shows up. Charlotte says it is a disgrace to hold a King's Court without a proper queen, then asks why she is not booked for SummerSlam. She then calls Trish's motherhood an excuse not to face her at SummerSlam, then challenges her to a match. Trish doesn't respond, and Charlotte Flair says she expected more of a competitive fire from her before chalking it up to Trish thinking she cannot hang with her, and tells her to get out of her ring and go back to changing diapers. Trish laughs, and while she respects Charlotte Flair, she is "just being a bitch." She tells Charlotte there would be no trail to blaze if it were not for her, Lita, Ivory, Beth Phoenix or Jacqueline. She also says that to be the woman, you've got to beat the woman, and if she wants her match at SummerSlam, she's got it.

Backstage, The O.C. brag about all the championship gold that they have, then Styles says that Kofi Kingston will find out why SmackDown Live is the house that he built.

It's time for Firefly Fun House. Ramblin' Rabbit welcomes us to the show by telling us how much of a big fan he is of Finn Balor. He runs away as Bray Wyatt shows up, and Bray Wyatt laughs before saying "Let me in." We then see "The Fiend" before the scene cuts to black.

Dolph Ziggler beats Finn Balor. During the match, the lights go out. Bray Wyatt - as "The Fiend" - shows up, then the lights come back on and The Fiend disappears. When the lights come back on, Ziggler hits Sweet Chin Music for the win.

Ali beats Shinsuke Nakamura after stacking him up to counter the Kinshasa.

We see a video package of Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston's championship meeting in 2009, with Orton saying he had to be himself while Kofi had to be something he wasn't. After stating that Kofi was sent back to the bottom after stepping up to his left, Orton then says Kofi had an opportunity earlier this year because of how he injured Ali. He says there is no "Kofimania" without him, and says he has not even gotten a "thank you" due to Kofi's entire reign being based on a fluke. He calls Kofi challenging him at SummerSlam "stupid." He then says he will take the WWE Championship from his waist with the RKO.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Kofi Kingston. Xavier Woods and Big E join Kofi to handle the interview from there, and Kofi says that last time he checked, SmackDown Live is now "the palace of positivity" and not the house that "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles built.

Kofi Kingston beats "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles as The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) and The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) go at it at ringside.

Backstage, someone tries to dump stage rigging and boxes onto Roman Reigns, but Roman is able to walk away under his own power.

After Andrade eliminates Rey, he rips at Rey Mysterio's mask and tears it up just before Ricochet runs in and fights him in the ring. After the match, Kayla Braxton interviews Ricochet, who says winning the United States title was so unbelievable he couldn't believe it, then says people believe only what they can see. After SummerSlam, everyone will believe, and so will he. Backstage, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles laughs at Ricochet's post-match comments.

Backstage, Mike Kanellis tells Maria Kanellis he won the WWE 24/7 Championship for them, then Maria tells Mike to get on his bike like he usually does so her baby can have a champion for a parent. It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. After Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross talk about Raw Reunion, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin closing out the show and Dolph Ziggler superkicking "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels on SmackDown Live, she says that Ziggler's actions were deplorable. Alexa then says that Ziggler is not the only person lacking a moral compass, and we see footage from earlier today where Becky Lynch attacks Fit Finley before going for the Dis-Arm-Her on Natalya. Alexa and Nikki question if someone like Becky Lynch should be Raw Women's Champion, and Alexa says she will make sure she knocks Becky down a few pegs when she faces her tonight. Natalya proposes challenging Becky to a submission match between her "superior" Sharpshooter and Becky's "inferior" Dis-Arm-Her, but says Becky is not man enough to accept her challenge; therefore, she will not issue it.

As Maria Kanellis has a photo shoot with the WWE 24/7 Championship, she runs into Braun Strowman, who she proceeds to mock.

Before the next match, Dolph Ziggler shows up to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michael's theme, mocking HBK and telling Rollins that he lost his smile, then telling Rollins he should be thanking him and that he will soon see the real main event, headliner and show stealer.

After several ringside German suplexes, Lesnar hits Rollins with a F5 into the ring post before tossing Rollins into the ring, grabbing a steel chair and smacking Rollins with it. Rollins crawls to the bottom rope, but Lesnar grabs him and hits him with two more F5's, this time into an opened steel chair. Rollins has to be placed on a stretcher by medical staff as Lesnar and Heyman leave.

Samoa Joe shows up. Joe announces that the "Samoan Summit" has been cancelled to "catastrophic failure of peace talks." He then says he is here to fight, not to talk, and calls out Roman Reigns so he can finish his beatdown. Roman Reigns shows up, and both men proceed to pummel each other. After Joe tosses Roman into the steel steps, Roman tosses the steps at Joe, then Drew McIntyre blindsides Roman only for Roman to smack him. Both McIntyre and Roman proceed to brawl in the crowd. Joe kicks Roman when they both get back over the barricade, then Joe and McIntyre take the boots to Roman in the ring until Cedric Alexander shows up to even the odds and save Roman. This comes to an end after Joe turns Cedric inside out with a clothesline, and McIntyre and Cedric go at it on the stage while Joe and Roman go in the ring. Joe and Roman's brawl soon goes to the announce table, and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) come to Roman's aid. The O.C. He asks Goods if he wants to come out to golf claps his entire career, or if he wants to be great and earn respect, for a guy like him is more than a little wet behind the ears in the business and he has a lot more learning to do before earning respect. Jordan Myles beats Angel Garza to advance to the finals of the NXT Breakout Tournament. After the match, Shane Thorne shows up on commentary and asks why eight stars are being debuted when none of them can even hold a candle to him, and says that he can break out all on his own.

We hear from Johnny Gargano, who tells Adam Cole that when you involve his family, you make things personal. He had his moment to become the NXT Champion, but now he will do whatever it takes to beat up Cole. He then announces that the stipulation he chooses for their match is a Street Fight.

Bianca Belair beats Xia Li.

We see another vignette for Killian Dain, where his actions from last week are revisited as Dain states that Matt Riddle is not as tough as he thinks he is and that he got only a glimpse of his world. Dain says he cannot wait to show Matt Riddle everything and welcome him to his world.

We see security camera footage from earlier this week at the WWE Performance Center where Mia Yim attacks Jessamyn Duke by sending locker doors into her head and shoulder.

Velveteen Dream shows up. Dream says that the only way he will step down as NXT North American Championship is when he dies, and when he dies, he wants to go straight to Hell. He states that being without the title would be like Hell, as Roderick Strong sold his soul to Satan himself in order to claim victory over him. He admits that Strong is "one hell of a man" and that he can go all night long, too, but if Strong wants the Velveteen Dream Experience, he will soon find out that he is not "big enough to ride this ride." He then feels that someone else may be big enough, and says that if anyone does, he wants to experience them. Suddenly, Strong shows up. Strong says Dream does not believe anything that he has just said, and that he knows that Dream has been ducking him because he is scared. He also says that Dream knows he is the most deserving challenger on the continent and that he can take his title from him, and tells Dream to give him what he wants: a match at NXT TakeOver: Toronto where the Dream dies. All of a sudden, Pete Dunne shows up and snaps Strong's fingers, then looks at the North American title. Velveteen Dream slowly leaves the ring.

Backstage, Roderick Strong meets with General Manager William Regal. Regal announces that Pete Dunne will be in NXT for a while, and that he will be in the North American Championship match with Strong and Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: Toronto. Strong wants Dunne next week, as he wants to make sure he does not make it to TakeOver, but Regal tells him he will think about it and to run along.

Kacy Catanzaro vs. Io Shirai ends with Candice LeRae rushing in and attacking Shirai. Shirai runs away after LeRae grabs a steel chair.

We hear from Adam Cole, who says that NXT management is screwing over The Undisputed Era (Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly) again and that Strong will walk out as North American Champion. He also states that NXT TakeOver: Toronto is morphing into The Undisputed Era's prophecy with Street Profits accepting their challenge, and that Johnny Gargano won't be able to call himself a wrestler after TakeOver when he counters Gargano's Street Fight stipulation with the stipulation of the amtch being "a good old one-on-one wrestling match."

Next week: Tyler Breeze vs. Jaxson Ryker! Pete Dunne vs. Roderick Strong!

Damian Priest eats Keith Lee after using the referee as a shield.

He plans to make sure that he and Mike Kanellis get as much aggression out of their systems as possible, and he has made sure that next week, his match with Mike Kanellis is unsanctioned.

Drew Gulak beats Isaiah "Swerve" Scott.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for July 23, 2019

The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) guest on commentary as Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. After a proper introduction from ring announcer Greg Hamilton, Shane says he was happy not to see Kevin Owens' face at Raw Reunion. He brings up the fact that Kevin Owens has challenged him to a match at SummerSlam - which he states would not be complete without him - and accepts Owens' challenge. He then brings up the fact that Owens has stated on social media that he will quit WWE if he does not beat Shane McMahon at SummerSlam. Shane brings up the fact that Kevin Owens has threatened to quit almost a year ago, and uses it as a means of calling Owens a quitter before proclaiming that Owens will go down at SummerSlam and that he will have it in writing. Suddenly, Owens shows up, and admits that Shane is smart to dig up that footage before stating that was the lowest point of his career as well as a "broken-down version of him who did not want to ruffle any feathers," which is not who he is today. He also says he knew Shane would accept his challenge, because Shane wants him gone and because Shane cannot resist the spotlight, especially at SummerSlam. He then tells Shane he will not quit because he will beat the living hell out of him. Owens heads to the ring after proposing they go right now, but Shane tells him to stop if he wants his match and thinks that Owens should fight tonight in a match against Roman Reigns.

Backstage, Shane McMahon is joined by Elias and Drew McIntyre. Elias praises Shane for putting Kevin Owens in a match against Roman Reigns. Shane decides to up the ante by appointing Drew McIntyre as a special guest referee for the match. He also makes Elias the special guest timekeeper, and himself the special guest ring announcer.

Shinsuke Nakamura beats Apollo Crews. After the match, Nakamura continues to attack Crews and hits him with another Kinshasa at ringside.

Backstage, Mandy Rose tells Sonya Deville that she has talked to Shane McMahon and that they are getting a match next week. If they win, they deserve a women's tag team title match.

We hear from Ali, who says that he must rewrite his story and make it about a man who became WWE Champion, for the pen is in his hand and not "theirs" and nobody is re-writing his story but him. He says he will go down in history for his story.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. After a recap of Raw Reunion, HBK shows up. Shawn says he has been the young guy waiting for the old guys to leave before, but last night, everybody was like family. He also says it was great to see Seth Rollins grow and mature in WWE and see him in the match he has at SummerSlam. Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler shows up and says enough with the past Superstars being happy to be here. The Miz threatens to punch him in the face, then Dolph says Shawn had the chance to go out at the greatest of all time only to shuffle back out and wave to the crowd. He calls this as embarrassing as the past Superstars and Legends last night, and says that Shawn broke his heart when he returned to the ring at Crown Jewel, saying he was "embarrassing." Shawn agrees with Ziggler on that point, but says the only thing more embarrassing is working an entire career only to be known as a "second-rate Shawn Michaels wanna-be." Ziggler is incensed, and says the only second-rate Shawn Michaels in the ring is Shawn Michaels before saying it is fitting for him to be in the ring with The Miz as he will be known for kissing ass. Miz tells Ziggler to do something about it already, since he always has to make things about him when he should be doing things for himself. Ziggler walks away, and when Shawn gets him to reconsider, Ziggler turns and inadvertently hits Miz before superkicking Shawn as Shawn checks on Miz. Miz then checks on Shawn.

Ember Moon quickly beats Charlotte Flair. Right after the match begins, Bayley shows up. Ember Moon ends up beating a distracted Charlotte Flair with a schoolkid pin. After the match, Ember Moon tosses Bayley into the ring with Charlotte. Charlotte hits Bayley with a big boot, but Ember Moon hits Charlotte with Eclipse before doing the same to Bayley.

Kofi Kingston shows up. Michael Cole replaces Big E and Xavier Woods on commentary as it announced that Byron Saxton is not here due to the loss of his father. Kofi issues a challenge to and calls out the person who he hopes will be his opponent at SummerSlam: Randy Orton. Orton shows up, and Kofi mentions that the two of them have some history before we see some footage from the November 16, 2009 Raw where Kofi hit Orton with a Boom Drop from an barricade in the crowd into a table. Kofi says that should have been the moment where he made it to the main event scene, but that did not happen and Orton used his influence to ensure he would never reach those heights again. He says it almost worked, but he kept working and discovered the power of positivity - which he says is very real - and became what Orton did not want him to be: the WWE Champion. Orton admits he used his influence to hold Kofi back, but he did him a favor as he was not ready back then and he is not ready now. He calls his WWE Championship reign a fluke, and says he did not have to work a day in his life or embarrass himself to get to where he is. He says that he has headlined Royal Rumbles, SummerSlams and WrestleManias, and says it is because of his injuring Ali that Kofi Kingston even got close to the WWE Championship in the first place. Orton then goes on to say that Kofi is not worthy of the WWE Championship, and that he can take the title from him any time he wants. Kofi proposes they face off for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Orton accepts, and says that Kofi's eleven-year fairy tale will come to a screeching halt courtesy of the RKO. As Randy leaves, Samoa Joe shows up and gets in the ring with Kofi Kingston. Randy heads back towards the ring to get a closer look at the next match.

We get a closer look at Aleister Black, courtesy of Burger King.

Kofi Kingston beats Samoa Joe by disqualification after Randy Orton goes for an RKO on Kofi only for Kofi to deflect it. After the match, Orton hits a surprise RKO on Samoa Joe, then Kofi hits Trouble In Paradise on Orton.

Kayla Braxton interviews Finn Balor in the ring. Finn Balor says he has no idea how Bray Wyatt's mind works, but they have crossed paths before. Nevertheless, he cannot explain anything about Bray Wyatt. He says that Bray Wyatt is more twisted than ever, but he has stared fear in the eyes before. He has not backed down then, and he will not back down now. Finn then challenges him to a match at SummerSlam. Bray Wyatt then shows up on the TitanTron via his Firefly Fun House, and praises Finn Balor for his bravery while saying that "The Fiend" is not as much of a fan as he is. He states that "The Fiend" is officially accepting his SummerSlam challenge, then warns him that while Finn Balor is an extraordinary man, "The Fiend" is no man; he is an abomination of power that remembers. We then see an image of "The Fiend," then the screen goes to black.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber is interrupted by Charlotte Flair, who calls what happened earlier tonight, being off SummerSlam and Bayley choosing Ember Moon as her opponent as a slap in the face. She asks how she can be left off SummerSlam, then demands to be at SummerSlam and says that her opponent will be better than Ember Moon while she proves she is the greatest female Superstar of all time.

For the next match, Shane McMahon is special guest ring announcer, Elias is special guest timekeeper and Drew McIntyre is special guest referee. After the bell rings, Shane McMahon mocks both Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens. Owens tells Shane he has no problem running through Roman, McIntyre, and Elias just to get to him tonight. Roman considers this a challenge and states he will "whup everybody's ass" tonight. When the match starts, McIntyre gets a little too involved as special guest referee. Roman beats up McIntyre, Owens beats up Elias, then the two of them go after Shane. The numbers game quickly catches up to both men, and Shane, McIntyre and Elias gang up on Roman before Owens grabs Shane from the outside and sends him into the barricade. Owens fights off Elias and McIntyre, then McIntyre eats a Spear from Roman and Elias eats a Stunner from Owens. Roman then gets Shane back in the ring with Owens before hitting him with the Superman Punch, then Shane eats a Stunner. After another Stunner to Shane, Owens says that if the fans thought tonight was good, he says that Shane McMahon will be made enjoyable at SummerSlam after the ass whipping he gives him that night.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!

Total Miz Island - Miz and Mrs. recap for July 23, 2019

Mike and Maryse try to cook something. They are hosting a dinner next week, and celebrity chef Robert Irvine is coming to town. Unfortunately, Miz drops the eggs, and it quickly becomes a food fight between Miz and Maryse.

At SmackDown Live is Wichita, Kansas, Maryse calls Mike about how to work the television. Rusev is involved in the conversation, and he is easily vexed about everything as Mike is.

At Castle Marmiz, Mike and Maryse head to Costco. To the absolute amazement and chagrin of Mike, the voice for GPS navigation is Marjo. At Costco, Maryse is easily distracted, and at one point, Mike and Maryse argue over whether they should buy a $900 wheel of cheese. Maryse ends up buying the wheel of cheese.

Mike and Maryse make it back home, and end up having to put the cheese wheel - which is now gendered female and christened "Bertha" by Maryse - in the wine cellar due to a lack of room for the cheese wheel in the refrigerator and a smaller secondary refrigerator.

After Marjo unsuccessfully tries to pronounce "parmigiano reggiano," Mike and Maryse try to cut the cheese wheel. It gets cut in half after Mike uses a chainsaw.

With the help of Maryse, Mike tries to create a video tutorial for how to work the television. Unfortunately for Mike, even things go wrong for him.

At Faradys's Kitchen Store, Mike and Maryse go to a cooking class with the two halves of the cheese wheel. Miz buys a $1500 grill for smoking the cheese wheel. They both learn how to make gnocchi. Mike's recipe ends up not tasting very good.

Back at Castle Marmiz, Maryse's friend Amanda and recording artist Ryan Cabrera are on hand to help make the gnocchi. Miz readies the $1500 grill to smoke the parmigiano reggiano, then Robert Irvine shows up. Robert is unimpressed with the gnocchi, and Mike switches his and Maryse's plates when he thinks nobody is looking. Suddenly, the cheese wheel is on fire, and Maryse has to extinguish it.

Everyone has dinner. Robert Irvine loves Maryse's giocchi. Everyone has a toast. They decide to play some music to lighten to mood, but Miz can't get the home entertainment center to play anything except his gym playlist.

Mike and Maryse get a package from Robert Irvine: another wheel of parmigiano reggiano.

Bonus clip: Mike and Maryse talk about the cheese in the car.

Manhattan Mayhem - The Results

Dragon Lee beats Jonathan Gresham.

Matt Taven shows up. He says he loves coming to New York City because the last time he was here was the greatest moment of his life as he became the ROH World Champion. He thought that he could not top that until Monday, when he threw the first pitch for the Boston Red Sox with the ROH World Championship around his waist. Taven then states that tonight might top all other nights, as his business with Jay Lethal over the last seven years comes to an end and he will prove to everyone that he is the ROH World Champion and the better man. Suddenly, Kenny King shows up and mocks Taven's "Taven 69" Red Sox jersey before stating that the New York Yankees also suck. He also says that the last time he was in Manhattan, he beat Jushin "Thunder" Liger and The Great Muta. He then says that this is a new Ring of Honor that is more live and unpredictable, and proposes they do some "live and unpredictable shit" by giving him his title opportunity and adding him to the match with Lethal, saying that Taven has yet to prove he is the real king of ROH and says that Taven won't do it because Taven knows he won't do it because he knows he will put him in the hospital. Taven tells Kenny to shut up, then says he is more than happy to add him to the match and prove he is the real king of Ring of Honor. Kenny King dryly says "Thank you, see you later," then leaves. After Kenny King leaves, Jay Lethal shows up and confronts Lethal, and the confrontation quickly turns into a brawl that referees and security have to break up. Taven quickly gets out of the ring, then makes sure to take the ROH World Championship to the back with him.

During the match, The Soldiers of Savagery are disqualified and ejected from the match after putting The Beer City Bruiser through the timekeeper's table at ringside. After the match, TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marsaglia show up and attack The Bouncers with steel chairs, then Marsaglia sits down and smokes a cigar in the ring before mocking the fact that The Bouncers are #1 contenders for the ROH World Tag Team Championships and stating that everyone knows that he and O'Ryan should have been the #1 contenders for the tag team titles a long time ago. He then tells The Beer City Bruiser that if he wants to get sick with him, he will get sick with him, then burns him with the cigar he has been smoking before he and O'Ryan share a bottle of whiskey, with O'Ryan saying "I've always been a better fan of whiskey anyway." O'Ryan then calls out Rush, telling him that he feels bulletproof tonight and that he wants to fight him. Rush shows up for the next match.

Rush beats TK O'Ryan. After the match, Rush fist bumps with a fan in a Rush mask, then the fan attacks Rush as soon as he turns his back. After giving Rush a beatdown, the fan takes his mask off to reveal he is none other than Dalton Castle.

Chronicles of the 24/7 Championship - Comic Con-fusion

In a rare instance, WWE doesn't have footage of what happened here. IGN did, however, and it was pretty crazy.

Here, R-Truth talks about his time at the San Diego Comic Con, but when he talks about the recent weather, a special guests shows up: Shane Helms - who now works backstage in WWE - as The Hurricane, which we haven't seen in WWE in some time. Referee John Cone shows up to count the eventual pinfall attempt, but R-Truth kicks out at two and The Hurricane runs away.

Just when the worst is over, however, Drake Maverick runs in and tries to take the title back again but fails. R-Truth hightails it out of there, and Drake Maverick pleads his case before realizing he's on camera and chases after R-Truth.

This video is a little interesting, since the WWE 24/7 Championship is being introduced to people who usually wouldn't watch WWE. Also, The Hurricane showing up was an interesting touch.
