Catarina deems her unworthy of the Kiss of Death, and orders Mil Muertes to attack her even more. Suddenly, Prince Puma returns and rescues Ivelisse from Mil Muertes' wrath. After that, Pentagon Jr. shows up, attacks Mil Muertes' from behind and breaks Mil Muertes' arm. El Vampiro is staring in awe as Pentagon Jr. is in the ring.

Matt says that he simply took Reby's advice: stop giving, start taking. As he keeps saying that Jeff is standing in his shadow, Jeff tells him just how appalled he is. Matt says that it might as well be time for the two Hardys to go their separate ways. Jeff Hardy says he stands by calling the now-chanted-for Ethan Carter III the best wrestler on the planet, simply because he won the World title fairly. Jeff, now medically clear, then says he wants to be the first person that Matt defends the title against. Matt grants him that match, saying he loves his brother, but that he will wash his hands of any and all guilt stemming from what he does to his brother tonight.

The TNA locker room is all abuzz about Feast or Fired.

The Feast or Fired Match takes place. Grado, Drew Galloway, Eli Drake and "The Cowboy" James Storm all get briefcases.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) are missing their TNA World Tag Team Championships, thanks to Crazzy Steve and Abyss. Tonight, they settle the score...and they want their belts back.

The opening of the Feast or Fired cases takes place...well, one of them, anyway. Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Michael Bennett show up, but Drew Galloway makes it clear that nobody is here to see him. Bennett says there will be repercussions for insulting him again, and the two of them leave. Eli Drake gets the King of the Mountain title shot.

When The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) call out Crazzy Steve, they get a girl who looks shockingly like him who says "Riddle me this, riddle me that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad. Decay...decay...decay." Crazzy Steve then shows up, followed by Abyss. This soon starts a brawl which takes place during the commercial break.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) ends when Crazzy Steve spits red mist into Davey Richards, followed by purple mist into Davey's face by the mystery girl. The gruesome threesome of Crazzy Steve, Abyss and the mystery girl then go on the attack.

James Storm gets a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Drew Galloway gets a shot at the TNA World Championship. Grado is fired from TNA.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for January 23, 2016

Brian Fury beats Shaheem Ali to continue to the semi-finals of the 2016 Top Prospect Tournament.

Before the next match, Veda Scott declares Cedric Alexander "a victim of Ring of Honor's callous disregard for his health and safety." She then says she can buy and sell everyone in the locker room many times over, then makes a passing reference to Jonathan Gresham. Veda says she and Alexander are on to bigger and better things. She calls Alexander "the best in the world" and deserving of the best in Ring of Honor. Instead of getting Jay Lethal, Adam Cole or Michael Elgin like she wanted, she gets Cheeseburger instead.

Jay Lethal, Taeler Hendrix and Truth Martini show up before Nigel McGuinness can make an announcement regarding the upcoming 14th Anniversary Show. Lethal thinks the announcement is about him, and McGuinness confirms that it is, and that Kyle O'Reilly is next in line to take him on for the ROH World Championship after what happened at All-Star Extravaganza. Lethal says he's already beaten O'Reilly, and if he faces him again, it'll be like a day off for him as he knows he can beat him again. McGuinness says there's more to it, however: O'Reilly was beaten by Cole, which makes Adam Cole the number one contender to the ROH World Championship and not Kyle O'Reilly. Adam Cole appears and gives us another edition of Story Time with Adam Cole. He's beaten Kyle O'Reilly, which now leads him to Lethal. He admits he is impressed with whom Lethal has beaten as World Champion, but says that he hasn't beaten him with the title around his waist yet, and that he will walk out of the 14th Anniversary Show with the ROH World Championship. McGuinness says there's even more to it than that, as McGuinness says that Kyle O'Reilly still wants to get his hands on him. Since the show is taking place in Las Vegas, he's doubling down. He decides to kill two birds at one stone by putting Cole, Lethal and O'Reilly in a triple threat match for the ROH World Championship that night. Kyle O'Reilly appears, and when he gets in the ring, Adam Cole leaves it. O'Reilly is happy with the news, but he can't wait until Vegas and wants the match now. McGuinness puts Jay Lethal and Adam Cole in a tag team match against reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly).

Mark Briscoe guests on commentary for the next match.

Before the next match, Stokely Hathaway and Moose show up. Since it's a new year, that means new goals and new opportunities. Jay Briscoe beats "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and Moose. After the match, as Mark Bricoe celebrates with Jay, Elgin, knowing that he and Jay are even in a one-on-one match and that Jay and Mark have helped each other mentally as brothers do, says tonight doesn't sit well with him and he challenges both Jay and Mark Briscoe to a tag team match against him and a man that he says he can completely trust - Hiroshi Tanahashi - at the 14th Anniversary show. Bo says they are four best friends with the same goal. They will make history on Sunday and win the Royal Rumble and the WWE World Championship together. Heath then says that if anyone wins it, it will be him, causing them to argue. My Predictions For Royal Rumble 2016

Darren Young and Damien Sandow
vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley)
vs. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor)
vs. Mark Henry and Jack Swagger

in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match to determine who wins two slots in the Royal Rumble

The kick-off has four teams struggle to gain two spots in the Royal Rumble match. Who's it gonna be?

My prediction: The Dudleys will probably get them.

The Royal Rumble

A 30-man battle royal for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

It's that time again...and for the first time since 1992, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is on the line as per Vince McMahon. Only thing is, the title isn't vacant, and Roman Reigns is actually defending it, making this more and more of a battle that is Roman Reigns' to lose.

Known participants include: Big Show, Curtis Axel, Bray Wyatt, Braunt Strowman, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Ryback, Dolph Zigler, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Stardust, Sheamus.

My prediction: Roman Reigns will probably retain.

Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Ambrose had enough of Kevin Owens and his temper tantrums stemming from losing the Intercontinental Championship to Ambrose. In order to settle this once and for all, Ambrose has decided to make this title bout a Last Man Standing Match.

My prediction: Ambrose will retain.

Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

Kalisto may have won the United States Championship from Del Rio, but that reign was short lived when Del Rio beat him again and took the title back on Raw.

My prediction: Del Rio will probably retain.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Divas Championship

It's finally happened: Charlotte is finally the dirtiest player in the Divas Division, and Becky Lynch wants nothing to do with it. Not surprisingly, Charlotte attacks her, ending their friendship. Becky Lynch failed to take the title before, but after getting her dad Ric Flair's goat on the Raw before Royal Rumble, it's on again. Can she take the title this time, or will Ric Flair help his dear old daughter out with some underhanded tactics yet again?

My prediction: Charlotte will retain.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

The Usos have fought their way to number one contendership for the tag team titles again. Now they plan to take back what is theirs from The New Day. Can they survive The New Day's scheming to win the tag team titles for a third time, or will the power of positivity win out?

My prediction: The New Day will probably retain.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for January 21, 2016

The show begins with Chris Jericho. In three short days, he will enter his ninth Royal Rumble match, and he hopes to walk away with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After a brief recap of what happened earlier this week, Jericho is about to say he will win the Royal Rumble when The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) confront them for destroying Francesca the trombone and showing no remorse for it. They ask Jericho to bow his head along with the WWE Universe to show a moment of silence and respect for Francesca, but Jericho continues to make fun of them. Jericho also says they need better unicorn names, which leads to a "rooty tooty booty" joke. The New Day get in the ring, but Jericho says he's not fighting them because they already have a match against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Dolph Ziggler, who arrive to start off the first match, which happens next.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Dolph Ziggler beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods).

Charlotte guests on commentary for the next match.

Becky Lynch beats Alicia Fox with the Disarmher.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight, The Miz's guests are Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens. Ambrose shows up before The Miz can really get started and talks to himself about Sunday night's match. Miz tells Ambrose to shut up, but Ambrose tells Miz to shut up. When Miz asks him if he can do the show better than him, he says yes. Miz TV becomes Dean TV, and Dean starts talking about everything he's going to do to Kevin Owens on Sunday after saying he plans on "taking Owens on as many rides as he can." He promises to become last man standing and retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Owens shows up, says he's more of a zoo guy instead of an amusement park guy, and says he will take the Intercontinental Championship back. Ambrose says they don't have to wait; they can have the match right now. Before that can happen, however, Ambrose is attacked from behind by The Miz, who is tired of being interrupted constantly on his own show. He then tells Owens to get in the ring, but Owens hits The Miz with a pop-up power bomb. He almost does the same to Ambrose, but Ambrose counters and forces Owens to retreat. Ambrose keeps his gaze fixed on Owens as he hits Dirty Deeds on Miz, then counts to ten as he continues to stare at him from across the ring.

Bray Wyatt beats Ryback with help from the rest of The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman).

Titus O'Neil beats Stardust.

Renee Young interviews Kalisto. Despite Del Rio being a legend in Mexico, he is still ready, willing and able to take him on. Del Rio then shows up with the rest of The League of Nations (Sheamus, King Barrett, Rusev) and beats Kalisto up.

Before the next match, Roman Reigns says that even with the odds stacked against him, he is still walking out of the Royal Rumble match as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. As for tonight, he really likes his chances against The League of Nations (Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett, Rusev).

The referee calls for the bell on Roman Reigns vs. The League of Nations (Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett, Rusev) gets out of control when Barrett and Rusev resort to dirty tacts. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) rush in to attempt to make the save, but the numbers game still catches up to them. Roman Reigns is able to fight back, but he is surrounded on all sides of the ring by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman). Roman does his best to fight them off, but he ends up being another victim of the Family before Royal Rumble.

When Chad Gable says that he and JJ are "the alpha males of NXT," JJ has an idea. He runs with that statement and the fact that Chad Gable represented the USA in the 2012 Olympics, and comes up with their new tag team name: American Alpha.

Apollo Crews beats Tye Dillinger. After the match, Crews says he has unfinished business from a few months ago: a non-title match with Finn Balor, which he does not want to win by disqualification a second time around.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 19, 2016

Jeff Hardy starts off tonight's show. He feels something is off about the deal Matt Hardy made to Ethan Carter III, and asks him to come to the ring. He does. Jeff knows he and Matt have become famous out of taking huge risks, and owes Matt so much, but he feels uneasy about tonight's main event. Matt feels he's let everyone down, but says tonight is the night for this. He knows Ethan Carter III uses his ego to get around, and decided to beat him at his own game by putting his TNA career on the line. He plans to beat EC3 at his own game and make everyone proud. Jeff understands, and says Matt still has a chance. Suddenly, Tyrus shows up and says that their dreams will become nightmares. He says Matt has made a mistake and that EC3 will take care of him, but says that Jeff made an even bigger mistake by insulting his intelligence, and challenges him right then and there. Hardy agrees, and they have their match right now.

Jeff Hardy beats Tyrus by disqualification after Tyrus shoves the ref down outside of the ring. After the match, Jeff Hardy hits a Twist of Fate from out of nowhere.

The Feast or Fired match happens next week!

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) have come out on top in TNA for the last two years...and they want Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) in a match. Suddenly, they are attacked by a crazed Crazzy Steve and by Abyss.

Thanks to Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne fending off the rest of The Dollhouse (Jade, Marti Bell, Rebel), Gail Kim retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Awesome Kong.

Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) show up and call out Eric Young and Bram. Instead, they get Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz. Eli Drake says Beer Money's time has come and gone, and Jessie Godderz plans on breaking the both of them. Beer Money go to town on the both of them and immediately get this match started.

Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) beat Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz.

It is announced that Jeff Hardy has re-injured his leg.

Reby Sky, Matt Hardy and son Maxwell meet up with Jeff Hardy. Matt tells Jeff to get medical treatment for his knee, and says he'll be fine in his match tonight.

Kurt Angle shows up. He thanks the fans, and says that his match against Drew Galloway last week was wonderful, and that it was the kind of match he'd like to have on his farewell tour. When he asks who's next, Lashley appears. He says he respects Angle more than anyone else in the business for discovering him and helping him get into professional wrestling. He also remembers their match from this time last year, and even though Lashley lost, he says the match was incredible. He has looked back on it frequently, and he wants another match with Angle. Angle doesn't know if he can beat Lashley again, but he's up to challenge and grants him a rematch. Lashley then says "I'm gonna beat your ass, Kurt."

Lashley meets Raquel backstage, who tells him "your pain is my pleasure."

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett beats Pepper Parks. After the match, Bennett says that the audience has just witnessed a real life miracle and that he is building "a kingdom of miracles."

Ethan Carter III tells Matt Hardy that this ends tonight, as he says that Hardy cannot beat him. The camera zooms out to reveal that EC3 and Tyrus are sitting in an ambulance, and EC3 says that Hardy will be leaving in it tonight.

Matt Hardy beats Ethan Carter III in a Last Man Standing match with help from wife Reby Sky and from a turncoat Tyrus to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! During the match, Hardy uses unsavory tacts to beat EC3, causing Hardy to turn heel and Ethan Carter III to turn face.

After the match, Matt Hardy says he beat the unbeaten Ethan Carter III and win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for Matt Hardy. She then calls the fans "gnats," "ants," and "insignificant," then puts his wife Reby Sky on a pedestal and says Tyrus made the right business decision by turning on EC3. After saying that this is the beginning of "Big Money Matt," he places EC3 head on top of a steel chair, then smacks him in the head with another one before he, Reby and Tyrus head to the top of the entrance ramp and lift Matt's arms high in victory to end the show.

Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for January 19, 2016

Dolph Ziggler almost kisses Nikki backstage, but Nikki slaps him in the face. Nikki can't believe this, and walks away. She tells Brie, then all of a sudden, Dolph shows up. Nikki cuts the conversation short, saying she can't even be friends with him after this. She finds John and hugs him, then she and Brie tell Paige, and says not to tell Nattie because she'll tell everyone else.

Brie, Nattie and Rosa Mendes are riding together. They talk about the Divas Revolution that is happening right now, then Nattie mentions TJ and the stuff going on at home. Brie can relate, having seen this happen with Bryan twice in a year, and talk about the things they have to put on hold due to their significant others being injured.

Paige and Nikki are backstage in Japan. She has to deal with relationship troubles at the same time.

Mom and Dad meet Nattie at her home with TJ. TJ will need surgery to repair his neck. He had the same injury as Christopher Reeves, except TJ's spinal cord is bruised instead of severed. Nattie is bracing herself for that day.

The Divas head to Japan, and Nikki and Paige sign some posters. Nikki says she can't tell John Cena about what happened with Dolph Ziggler just yet because he and Dolph Ziggler are tag team partners tonight.

Paige calls Kevin in Japan. Kevin announces their parents are visiting back home. Paige is still trying to tell Kevin she never wanted to be engaged.

Brie and Bryan have a meal together. Brie tells Bryan what happened between Nikki and Dolph. Bryan admits that he doesn't care for Tough Enough, and is afraid that if he leaves the wrestling spotlight, nobody will pay attention to what he has to say. Brie wants him to explore other options besides wrestling, but Bryan desperately wants to get back into the ring.

Paige heads into a cat cafe while sightseeing. She calls Alicia Fox while there, and mentions her dilemma with trying to tell Kevin the truth and his parents' appearance back home making it a little more difficult. Paige knows she has to do something. Meanwhile, Paige is surrounded by cats.

The Divas perform for The Beast In The East in Tokyo.

Brie and Bryan look into a business venture with Experience Local after wrestling. Bryan doesn't seem to like Brie trying to consider him done with wrestling.

Nikki talks with Dolph Ziggler backstage. Paige watches them from around the corner as they talk, and when Nikki says she hasn't told John Cena yet, Dolph says he's going to tell him. Nikki would rather John hear it from her.

Brie tells Bryan that eventually, Bryan will have to find something to do after wrestling.

Paige and Nikki go sightseeing in Japan and head to a fish spa...then Dolph shows up. Paige wants Dolph and Nikki to sort their business out. Nikki tells Dolph that he had his chance and blew it, but Dolph can't quite see what it is that Nikki sees in John Cena.

Brie and Bryan go over what they have to do with Experience Local. Bryan isn't exactly looking forward to it, since he said starting out that he's not much of a social person, and also tells Brie that he's trying to come back to wrestling and doesn't want to start the next chapter of his life yet. Brie realizes that she can't change his mind, and says she'll support whatever dream he has.

Paige is back from Japan, and rides home with Kevin. Kevin notices that Paige isn't wearing her ring, but Paige explains that she put it in a bag because she doesn't want to lose it and can't wrestle in it. This raises a red flag in Paige, and makes her wonder if telling Kevin the truth that she didn't want to be engaged is a good decision.

Back in Japan, Nikki watches John Cena and Dolph Ziggler's THe Beast In The East match from backstage.

Paige gets chewed out from her mom Saraya Knight for not telling her she got engaged. When Kevin talks about their future wedding, tensions between Kevin and Paige flare up, and Paige ends up telling Kevin she doesn't want to be engaged. Paige tells Kevin she didn't want to lose him, but Kevin tells her that this wouldn't have been the case. They forgive each other.

John Cena and Nikki have a steak dinner in Tokyo. Nikki tells John Cena what happened between her and Dolph Ziggler. John tells her that he would be stupid to try to keep her from going with Dolph if there's a connection between them, which surprises Nikki as she expected him to get mad. John proposes a toast to Nikki and how "she's still got it."

Jericho makes fun of Sheamus' hair while saying he didn't want him on his show, then Alberto Del Rio jumps in and says that unlike Jericho, he's won a Royal Rumble match. Jericho makes fun of Del Rio, then Rusev says that every day in Bulgaria was a rumble, so this is nothing new to him. Roman Reigns says that he won the Royal Rumble match last year, and that Rusev almost won it that year. Roman decides he's had enough of Rusev, and challenges him to a match right now. Suddenly, Paul Heyman shows up, but Jericho wants to know where Lesnar is. Heyman says Lesnar is here tonight, and that he is clearly focused on Roman Reigns. When Jericho asks if Heyman tried to get Lesnar out of the Royal Rumble match because he did not like his chances, Heyman insists he did not and that Lesnar will wipe the floor with everybody, turning the Royal Rumble match into Suplex City in the process. When Jericho asks what would happen if he and Lesnar were the final two and Jericho ended up winning the whole thing, Lesnar shows up. Roman Reigns then makes his appearance before Lesnar can leap onto the ring apron. Lesnar gets in the ring with Roman and gets Speared almost instantly. As Roman goes to work on Lesnar, The League of Nations shows up. Roman and Lesnar take all of them down, then The Wyatt Family appears. Lesnar is out, leaving Roman to deal with the Wyatts alone. Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 12, 2016

Ethan Carter III looks at himself in the bathroom mirror. Tyrus shows up and simply tells him "It's time."

Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up. EC3 says this is a time of vindication for him. He says that Tyrus has never doubted him, and thanks him for having his back after all this time. Before he can return to the topic at hand, however, Jeff Hardy shows up. Jeff says he's here to give him something he deserves: credit where it's due for beating Matt Hardy clean. He then hands EC3 a letter from his doctor. It's a doctor's note stating that he is clear for action, and Jeff wants his first match against Ethan Carter III. EC3 denies Jeff a title shot, saying he has to earn it. He then brings out an opponent after speaking to Bob Ryder through the camera: The Master of Motion, Shynron. Shynron plans to beat Jeff Hardy tonight. EC3 brings out a referee to make the match official, then guests on commentary for the match along with Tyrus.

Jeff Hardy beats Shynron.

Jeremy Borash interviews The Beautiful People (Jade, Rebel, Marti Bell, Awesome Kong). Marti Bell says that the Knockouts Division needed a shake-up, and that Awesome Kong has provided that shake-up. Kong says that this is her house, and that Gail Kim has something she wants. Suddenly, The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne) show up and tell The Dollhouse that they should be worrying about them tonight, and that they don't have to jump people from behind to make a point. They then land the first blows in a backstage brawl.

When we come back from break, we find out that the backstage brawl between The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne) and The Dollhouse (Jade, Marti Bell, Rebel, Awesome Kong) has spilled over to the ring, and has officially become the start of the match.

The Dollhouse (Jade, Marti Bell, Rebel, Awesome Kong) beat The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne) in a no-disqualification match.

Coming soon to TNA: Raquel...

Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) show up for their beer bash in celebration of reuniting after almost five years. Storm is glad he came back to TNA and reformed one of the best tag teams in TNA history. Roode reveals that the reason they broke up and got back together is their drive and passion to be the best, and that he was wrong for turning on Storm like he did. They apologize for a few more things (including Roode puking in Storm's cowboy hat) as they give a toast to each other and the fans. As they get rowdy and loud, Eric Young and Bram show up to spoil the fun, and after Eric Young brags about taking the World title from him and admitting he doesn't like Bram but does like the way he operates, he says that Roode has something that belongs to him: the TNA King of the Mountain Championship. Roode tells EY he'll beat him like a little bitch, and puts the title on the line...right here, right now.

Eric Young takes advantage of some commotion near the end of the match to beat Bobby Roode and win the TNA King of the Mountain Championship!

Maria Kanellis and Michael Bennett meet up with Ethan Carter III and Tyrus backstage. Michael Bennett has kind words for EC3, but EC3 doesn't think as kindly of Bennett.

It's time for Mr. Anderson's new segment: "Huh?" The first guest ever on this segment is Matt Hardy, who is accompanied by Reby Sky and their son Maxell. Matt Hardy says the only reason he didn't beat Ethan Carter III for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship is because of Eric Young's piledriver. Anderson thinks he's making excuses, but Matt Hardy says he's being accountable and refuses to give up on winning the title again. Matt Hardy also says that he has EC3's number, and that Jeff Hardy won't be "doing his dirty work." He, Reby and Maxell leave after the interview becomes uncomfortable.

Christy Hemme interviews Drew Galloway, who says that a match with Kurt Angle has always been a childhood dream of his. He says he has to beat Angle tonight in order to prove he can be number one in TNA.

Bram and Eric Young talk backstage. They plan to wipe out Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm") once and for all.

Tigre Uno and The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) beat Jessie Godderz, DJ Z and Eli Drake.

Jeff Hardy talks to his brother Matt Hardy, telling him to get the World title while he can. Matt says he has an offer Ethan Carter III cannot refuse. Reby Sky cuts the conversation short.

Ethan Carter III shows up, saying that Matt Hardy has an offer and he wants to know what it is. Matt shows up, and gives EC3 the opportunity to control his fate much like he did with Jeff. Matt says that if he can't beat Ethan Carter III for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, he will leave TNA forever. EC3 ups the ante by making it a Last Man Standing match. They shake on the match.

Kurt Angle beats Drew Galloway. Both men show respect after the match.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 11, 2016

The WWE roster is on the top of the entrance ramp as Vince McMahon and daughter Stephanie McMahon make their entrance to start the show. Vince says any of these men could be WWE World Heavyweight Champion after Royal Rumble, as does Stephanie. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman) suddenly shows up, and Bray says "Anyone but you, Roman." It's not long before the champ himself, Roman Reigns, shows up. Roman asks what happens if he were to win the Rumble. Stephanie laughs, thinking he's delusional, but Vince has an idea: a one-versus-all match with Roman taking on a whole bunch of Superstars. Vince also says that Dean Ambrose won't be in it, as he is in the first match of the night against Sheamus, who hits Dean with a cheap shot from behind, sending him rolling down the ramp.

Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus ends in a double count-out. After the match, an angry Dean Ambrose breaks down the commentary table, but Kevin Owens viciously blindsides him. Officials have to get Owens off of Dean as he tries to powerbomb Ambrose through a table.

Dean Ambrose walks out of the trainer's room, looking for Kevin Owens.

Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon run into Paul Heyman, who is thrilled about how the show is going. Paul Heyman wants another title shot and WrestleMania appearance for Brock Lesnar.

Titus O'Neil beats Stardust. Stardust attacks Titus after the match.

It's time for Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel. After Jericho says he will become a seven-time World Heavyweight Champion, we see tonight's guests, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up in order to "save the show from itself." No sooner do they say this that the "Rooty Tooty Booty" chants start, and The New Day shame Jericho. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) show up to interrupt The New Day, wondering why they're the ones with the Tag Team Slammys when The New Day say they're the real best tag team in the WWE, and challenge them to a match. The New Day says there's three of them and only two Usos, but Jericho ups the ante by joining The Usos in their corner.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) after Chris Jericho breaks Xavier Woods' trombone, upsetting Woods and distracting Kofi long enough for the Usos to get a schoolboy pin for the win.

It is announced that John Cena has successfully undergone shoulder surgery.

Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman talk backstage. Heyman wants Brock Lesnar to skip the Royal Rumble and go straight to WrestleMania for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot, but Stephanie McMahon says that if he wants the WWE World Heavyweight Championship again, he'll have to fight for it this time. Brock Lesnar is officially in the Royal Rumble match.

Sting is the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016.

Before the next match, Alberto Del Rio boasts about how he injured John Cena and put him out of action for months.
