He offers to be his mentor, then says he will get with Scott D'Amore and demand a tag team match against XXXL (Larry D and Acey Romero) with Trey as his tag partner, even though he can have a tag team partner of his choice. Sami then gives Trey a week to think about it and give him his answer.

Backstage, Rohit Raju proposes being tag team partners with Hernandez, but Hernandez wants money more than anything else.

We hear from Eric Young, who says that "The Cowboy" James Storm challenging him is a mistake, for violence is the path and the only thing that the disease understands. We hear from Chris Sabin and "The Cowboy" James Storm. Sabin tells Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera that he will not get angry and that he will give them a calm, stern warning that they made a big mistake attacking them, for they are Impact Wrestling tag team royalty, and when they have their match, they will kick their ass. Storm says Sabin is the yin to his yang and that while Sabin is calmly going to tell Rohit and Shera what they will do to them, he will show them exactly what they will do and says that he is the kind of guy whom the devil curses his continued existence every time he wakes up in the morning.

We hear from Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera. Rohit says they have everything under control, and admits that while they lost, they left Chris Sabin and "The Cowboy" James Storm. Rohit reminds Storm that he should be worried about Shera, for they have a past, while he and Sabin have a future. Shera says he remembers every slap Storm ever came him, and says that he will break Storm limb from limb. Rohit says they have a statement to make, for Storm and Sabin are on the marquees and the highlight reels, and they are taking and smashing everything for Storm and Sabin represent the glory they want. He says that in the future, everyone will talk about how he and Shera laid waste to Sabin and Storm as they teach them a lesson tonight.

We hear from Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Fulton says there has always been a plan and a direction, and that TJP has the unfortunate task of stepping into the ring with someone twice his size, and step one is to hurt TJP. Austin says that step two will be him swooping in and becoming a two-time X Division Champion. He says that TJP may have stopped his undefeated streak, but things have changed, and everything will come full circle.

We hear from TJP, who says that it may seem like he does not care - and he does not - and that he is not afraid of Madman Fulton because of what he has already done and Fulton will never done. TJP says he hsd had to take from the hands of people who have built just like Fulton, and hopes that Madman Fulton is willing to kill for the X Division Championship, for he is willing to die for it.

Backstage, Havok thanks Neveah for having her back last week. Neveah says she does not know what the future holds, and Havok proposes they bring their tag team together and see how Neveah feels when they take on Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K at Sacrifice. Neveah is in for the match.

We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that Trey Miguel should have just listened to him, as he gave him every opportunity to walk away and quit, but Trey stuck around just a little bit longer. He then says that he has to make an example out of Trey and everyone he cares about, which is why he went to his wrestling school last week. He says he did mean for things to get messy, and says he just wanted to talk to him like a man, but his hands were tied and Trey sealed their fates. He then says he found someone with potential and passion while he was there, and says that one cannot teach passion.

Backstage, Brian Myers meets with Scott D'Amore. Myers says that if he fires Eddie Edwards, he can make their legal battle go away. D'Amore says the more Myers has to argue, the less of a case he has. He then says that Myers and Eddie can settle things in a "Hold Harmless" Match, which is a no-rules match, at Sacrifice. Myers irritably walks away.

Before the next match, Sami Callihan calls Trey Miguel a quitter, and says the only thing he has done correctly is train the person he is about to bring out, who is now his protege and has the passion that Trey lacks: Sam Beale.

As they keep drinking shots of Talkin' Shop Whiskey, both team keep daring each other to have another shot before signing the contract. Everyone signs the contract before having a third shot, then Juice and Finlay throw their shots into The Good Brothers' faces. This leads to a brawl in the conference room between both teams.

After the commercial break, D'Amore shows up, then introduces Rich Swann to the ring before stating that two world champions is one too many and that the TNA World Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line, making their match a title unification match. D'Amore also announces that whoever wins the match will be in the main event of Rebellion on April 24th, where the winner will face Kenny Omega for both the AEW World Championship and the unified Impact World Championship. Cousin Jake heads to the ring. He thought he had it all figured out until Deaner betrayed him, and says that while there is another path, it is not the way he thought it would be. Suddenly, Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner) shows up. Eric Young says that Cousin Jake is starting to figure things out and that there is only one answer, and tells Jake to open his eyes, "become the best version of Jake" and take back his life as he hands him a red vest. Jake tosses the vest away. Jake says that if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything, and says that he stands for "Jake Something." He attacks Eric Young, but the numbers game quickly catches up. As they wrap a steel chair around Jake's neck, Deaner tells the rest of the group he wants this. He also says he will be back in Impact sooner rather than later to show that "the forbidden door" swings both ways.

We hear from The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson). Anderson says that while "The Cowboy" James Storm and Chris Sabin are good, they are not The Good Brothers and they are not the tag team champions, and tonight, they will do what they do best: beat them up. XXXL (Larry D and Acey Romero), Tennille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K are in the ring. Larry D talks about his and Acey Romero's match against Decay (Rosemary and Crazzy Steve) at No Surrender, and despite having been in jail, he does not hit a woman, and has a solution in that in Tennille. Private Party are shocked, and Matt Hardy is livid.

As Dreamer is about to sign the contract, Moose makes his entrance. D'Amore tells Moose to be a man of his word and stand down, and tells him that if he gets involved, he will suspend him indefinitely. Moose says he has no reason to interfere, as he can beat Swann and Dreamer. Moose says he has beaten Dreamer before, and that he can hurt Swann before as he is the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Swann says he is the real world champion, then Dreamer tells them to shut up and mentions a text message he got from Moose. Dreamer says Impact was about to cut Moose loose and that he needed Dreamer to light a fire under his ass, then says Moose does not get it and that everyone is united in their love for wrestling, saying he wrestles for the future, not for money. Dreamer says that he may get knocked down, but he will keep getting back up and that while he is still alive, he will continue to use his platform for good, and if he wins the Impact World Championship, his platform will be bigger. He tells Swann that it will be an honor to tear it up with him and help the world forget their troubles for three hours, and says he will leave the ring with him united in the love he has for the business. He signs the contract and shakes Swann's hand.

Gallows says this is what they do and why they are the placeholders of the industry, and that they will keep the Impact World Tag Team Championships as long as they please. Suddenly, Chris Sabin shows up. Sabin says that while he knows The Good Brothers want to treat Impact like their own personal tour bus, he cannot tell if they are drunk or stupid, as The Motor City Machine Guns were not pinned when they lost the tag titles. Sabin demands a tag team title rematch, but Gallows tells him he has no business doing so because he has no tag team partner, but Sabin says he has a partner who knows a lot about tag team wrestling: "The Cowboy" James Storm. Storm introduces himself to The Good Brothers, then says he and Sabin want the tag team titles and tells them to put up or shut up. Suddenly, Matt Hardy and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) - members of the All Elite Wrestling roster - show up. After talking about their six-man tag team match against Matt Sydal and Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) tomorrow night on Dynamite, he announces that he has brought Private Party in for a warm-up match. Storm tells Matt Hardy this was a private conversation, not a private party, but Hardy says everyone else should be praising him for putting Impact Wrestling on his back and saved it from bankruptcy in 2016, and also mentions how he and Jeff Hardy lost the tag team titles in a "teleportation gone wrong" angle. He then says the warm-up match should be against The Good Brothers, and after mentioning how he and Jeff Hardy lost the tag titles, Gallows says Private Party and the team of Sabin and Storm should fight it out to see who faces them for the tag titles. Bravo joke that Taya might do time in Jacksonville, Florida; Stanford, Connecticut or Baltimore, Maryland - references to All Elite Wrestling, WWE and Ring of Honor respectively.) Rosemary scares security away and confronts Taya for her behavior. Taya says she does not regret having Rosemary as a friend regardless of what happens. Taya is hauled off, and Crazzy Steve shows up. Rosemary says this is why she does not have friends, as it never works out. After Rosemary asks if this frightens Steve, Steve says this excites him. (This ends up being Taya Valkyrie's last appearance in Impact Wrestling, as her contract has expired.)

He admits he had some trust issues with Moose given what all Moose has done, but that his attention was on Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson). Now that Moose has his attention, he wants him to get in the ring so they can settle things. Moose shows up and reminds Swann that people make bad decisions when they are angry and that those decisions tend to make him angry, then says nothing between them will be settled until he gets a World title shot. Swann then gives Moose a World title shot right then and there, but Moose says he says when they will go at it because Swann is on his time. Swann asks what they will do now before starting a brawl. Fire and Flava tell them to go home and watch the championship celebration, then leave.

Brian Myers beats Fallah Bahh with a kick to the groin following an inadvertent eye poke from Fallah Bahh.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Austin says what happened at Hard To Kill was a tragedy, as he was forced to sit on a countdown show panel and comment on a match, and says "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander's time as a tag team champion is done and that Alexander should fade into the background. Ace Austin also shows his disgust with having to face Matt Cardona instead of taking part in the X Division Championship match. Suddenly, Alexander shows up and says he will make sure Austin will not reach his potential and that opportunities are earned. After Alexander shoves Austin, Fulton grabs Alexander from behind. As Austin is about to punch Alexander, Matt Cardona shows up and beats up Austin, forcing Austin and Fulton to retreat.

Backstage, a trainer tends to Eddie Edwards and tells him not to do barbed wire matches anymore. Suddenly, Brian Myers demands the doctor tend to his poked eye while calling Eddie "a backyarder." Eddie then challenges Myers to a match next week to show him what a professional wrestler and professional wrestling is really like.

During the match, Tony Khan and Jerry Lynn are seen watching the match from behind the guardrail, with Tony Khan taking notes. Before the match can be restarted, Colt Cabana is attacked from behind by The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe). Jay then says "To Hell with the NWA," saying that NWA screwed them at the Crockett Cup and that ROH has screwed them as well, and says it is time to do some screwing of their own. He then says nobody has the balls to stop The Briscoes, not even Colt Cabana or Nick Aldis. Aldis leaves the commentary table and fights The Briscoes, but the numbers game catches up to him. Colt Cabana tries to make the save, but The Briscoes attack him as well.

We see part two of a sit-down interview with Jeff Cobb.

Before the next match, "The Last Real Man" Silas Young says it is fairly obvious to anybody paying attention that he has turned over a new leaf; gone are the days of taking shortcuts or doing whatever he felt like doing to win a match, for there is not a better, more pure wrestler than him. He says he could have had a match with anyone on the Ring of Honor roster tonight, but he could have easily beaten them, so he has decided to push himself by going out and finding a guy who is unquestionably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time: The Squid. A man in red trunks, knee pads, white boots and a white mask shaped like a squid with eye holes shows up and gets in the ring.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats The Squid with an abdominal stretch, then refuses to let go of the hold while smoking a cigarette.

Before the next match, "Overkill" Mark Haskins says he came to Ring of Honor because it is a place where wrestling matters, and he did not work for the last 15 years to be labelled as an "entertainer." He says that he is a gretty, in-your-face, fight-you-any-day-of-the-week-and-twice on Sundays wrestler that everyone can appreciate, as ROH loves professional wrestling. He says he has fight in his heart that just will not quit, and on day one in ROH, he got to face one of the best talents today in Bandido. Juice Robinson was the first person to meet them in the back and, seeing something in them that he liked, offered them an invitation to become part of LifeBlood. He then mentions that Tenille Dashwood's chance to come back from injury was taken away from her by Bully Ray, whom he does not even consider a human being. Haskins calls out Bully Ray, daring him to come to the ring, and after the commercial break, Bully Ray shows up and tells ring announcer Bobby Cruise and referee Paul Turner to get out of the ring before asking Overkill if he is going to bark or bite. Overkill tells Bully Ray that he and the fans are all fed up with him, and tells him to return to the cesspool he crawled out of and retire. Bully tells Haskins he tried to retire over a year ago in the exact same building, and asks how he could try again when the fans begged him not to retire. He then says everyone did it because they were suckers and bought into it, and that he lied about his retirement and lied his entire career because that is what he does and nobody has been able to stop him. He asks Haskins what makes him think he will shut him up, and Haskins says he does not think; he knows. He then proposes they go at it right here, right now, but Shane Taylor shows up immediately. "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams shows up and stands with Haskins before saying he is tired of talking and that he and Haskins came for a fight. This starts an impromptu tag team match, but it does not last long when The Soldiers of Savagery (Malcolm Moses and Bishop Khan) show up and attack Haskins and Williams. Bully is about to put them through a table when "The Darewolf" PJ Black shows up with a steel chair to fight them off. The numbers game catches up with Black, and PJ Black is put through a table.

He promises he will finish Lambert tonight and send him back to Florida, as Lambert has no idea who he is or what he does, as all he knows him for is wrestling when he also helps the young talent in the back. He then goes on to say that it doesn't matter what country you're from, because they're both bullcrap. He then says what is going on with LAX is out of hand, but they are not afraid of it and they welcome it, as it is starting to become gang warfare. He says LAX will get their tag team title rematch, but it will be on their terms and they will give everything they've got. Sami then goes on to call Ottawa "Canada's big asshole." Suddenly, they are met by Tabarnak De Team (Mathieu Saint-Jacques and Thomas DuBois) who want to know what oVe is doing, and Mathieu says if they will talk crap about Canada, they'll have to deal with them. Thomas DuBois says something in French, then Sami tells him to "speak American." Mathieu then tells Sami to tell Thomas do the translating for him, and Thomas boots Sami out of the ring, starting a brawl between both teams. Sami eventually gets in the ring with a Kendo stick and hits both Mathieu and Thomas with it before hitting Thomas will a piledriver. oVe then stacks a few chairs together, and before they can hit The All-Seeing Eye, LAX shows up and fights oVe, and Sami narrowly avoids being blasted in the head with a Kendo stick by Konnan as oVe flees.
