Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 11, 2026

Dustin Starr interviews PG-13 (JC Ice and Wolfie D) at the announce desk to start today's show. Wolfie D says it has been 25 years, almost to the day, that PG-13 was in Memphis, Tennessee, where it all began in 1993. He says that the Memphis fans made them and that they have wrestled all over the world and became the tag team of the 1990s. All of a sudden, Terry Golden and the Kick Ass Wrestling collective suddenly show up, much to the chagrin of both Dustin Starr and PG-13. Terry Golden says "What's up, losers?" JC Ice says that this is PG-13's time to shine, and Golden tells JC Ice to "shut the fuck up" before saying he is the worst part of his father. All of a sudden, Derrick King and "The Gift" Ray Sanders shows up. Terry Golden says PG-13 are losers who ruined every opportunity they had, then says that Wolfie D's father is nothing and that Wolfie D's wife craps in a bucket. This leads to a potential brawl that officials and security have to break up.

After the match, PG-13, Derrick King and "The Gift" Ray Sanders all have metal folding chairs in the ring while the Kick Ass Wrestling collective are held back, with Terry Golden even trying to swing a chair at the referees as the collective is forced out of the WrestleCenter.

Colton Cage guests on commentary for the next match.

"Action" Mike Jackson beats "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox, Wonder Boy, The Shocker, and "The Ember" Shawn Aries in a Five Starr Five-Way match to become the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Champion after Colton Cage leaves the commentary table to distract Eli Knox as Moses holds Mike Jackson down. Eli swings at Jackson, but Jackson ducks and Eli inadvertently knocks Moses off the ring apron as a result. Mike Jackson then hits Eli Knox with a neckbreaker to win the match and the vacant Junior Heritage Championship at 76 years of age, making him the oldest champion to hold any title in the promotion.

Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique at the announce desk. "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock says that things have not gone his way. He feels he made a good boss, that he had a lot of changes and good ideas in mind and that a lot of people loved him in the back, but somebody got in the way and messed up everything. He says that all they had to do is climb the ladder and grab the briefcase so he could be boss forever, and blames Kale for the Hollywood Clique's failure. He says that Kale embarrassed him in front of Big Vito and the world, and calls him "the weakest link." Kale says he has hired to win the tag team titles and that Blaylock needed him. Blaylock puts his hand on Kale and calls him "a son of a bitch" as he tells Jay Smooth to take care of business, and Jay Smooth hits Kale in the back of the head with the Cobra Cup. Jay Smooth throws Kale into the ring post and into the ring, then grabs a metal folding chair and wraps it around Kale's neck before stomping the top of the chair as well as Kale's knees and shoulders. Jay Smooth then stomps on the legs of the chair, injuring Kale's neck in the process.

Backstage, The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) talk about The Modern Day Monsters (Warwolf and Marrow), then notice J. Webb, Nurse IV and the clown from the last few weeks around them. Lamonte, who has just stated that "everyone is crazy around here," freaks out and runs off.

CJ Squared (CJ Money and CJ Blaine) beat The Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz and Jae Pariah). During the match, Chuck Swan, also known as "Brown Sugar" and "The Sweet One," shows up and watches the match from ringside. After the match, Chuck Swann helps The Vybe Check to the back.

We hear from The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie). Tim Grind says he took The Whites too likely, and promises that this will never happen again as he demands a tag team title rematch so that all the fans who turned their backs on them will see them take the titles back. Lil Homie says they would still be champions if he was not hit in the head with a chair, and promises that The Bizness Dawgs will take the tag titles back.

C-Rex vs. Ally X in a rematch ends in a no-contest with a woman with green hair suddenly showing up and helping Ally X overpower C-Rex.

Backstage, Major Curtis chews out Robbie Maddox for waring a Sycho Simon T-shirt and tells him to throw it in the trash. After Major Curtis has his troop leave the ring, Robbie returns to the room and puts the T-shirt back on.

Marko "Hangtime" Harris beats VaShawn Harvey to win the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship for the second time after stopping VaShawn's attempts at using a foreign object with a knee to counter a necklace around VaShawn's fist as a weapon and drop kicking the Internet Championship into VaShawn's face when VaShawn tries to use the title as a weapon.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for July 10, 2026

General Manager Nick Aldis is in the ring to start tonight's show. He addresses the physical altercation with Gunther after Night of Champions, takes accountability for his part in the incident, and announces that he is now General Manager of the brand again. Aldis then introduces CM Punk to the ring, then gives Punk the floor and leaves the ring. Punk says that he missed the fans on SmackDown after two-and-a-half months of working to move to the blue brand, the attempts at which were expedited when a challenge for Sami Zayn was needed. He says that when opportunities fall from the sky, he catches them, and after getting ready for the match in his own home and kissing his wife goodbye, he is now Undisputed WWE Champion. Punk says that he is not like other wrestling, much like other champions, and that he plans to be a fighting champion every week and defend every chance he gets, for he draws a target on his back as the locker room is full of hungry, talented individuals who want what he has. Punk then throws an open challenge to anyone who thinks they have what it takes to wrestle "The Best in the World," for he is not hard to find and he will defend the WWE Championship with his blood, sweat and tears for the fans. Punk also addresses what Sami Zayn said about him on social media and says that he will give him a shot, as he certainly deserves a rematch. He also addresses Gunther, saying they remembered their last match, and also proposes that they square off again. He also mentions his recent two matches with Finn Balor and that he looks forward to facing him in neutral territory. Punk also mentions Royce Keys, Damian Priest and Trick Williams, then "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up and heads to the ring.Cody asks Punk how his left eye, and Punk says that it looks a lot worse than it feels. Cody mentions how he had a black eye and how a championship opportunity fell into Punk's lap. He then says that while there are matches like the one Punk had, there are those that have been building for years. Punk mentions their history and their friendship and how he does not want the WWE Championship to come between it all. Punk says they may not be able to run away from each other anymore, to which Cody agrees, mentioning that he had told him "Just say when." Punk interrupts Cody as he speaks, saying "When." Cody says "SummerSlam." Both men shake hands. Aldis makes Cody vs. Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship an official main event match for SummerSlam.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Jade Cargill, "Michin" Mia Yim and B-Fab. Cargill says that she is already to go and is ready to break Alexa Bliss' face. Michin says Charlotte Flair needs as many lessons as it takes to get the picture like Alexa, and B-Fab says that Charlotte will get a front row seat to see Alexa get snapped for a twig. Cargill says that everything that will happen to Alexa tonight will be Charlotte's fault and that she will not be held responsible.

UFC middleweight fighter Dricus Du Plessis is seen in the crowd.

Finn Balor beats Tama Tonga.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Carmelo Hayes. Carmelo says he has done nothing but prove and deserve, then says Trick Williams may have the aura, but it will not help him against someone with his star power. He says his aim has never been more clear and that tonight is his moment.

Backstage, R-Truth has to pay up to Fraxiom (Nathan Fraser and Axiom) due to the United States losing in the World Cup, then The War Raiders show up. Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu show up looking for Solo Sikoa. R-Truth says he has yet to see Solo, but when Jacob says he is looking for Royce Keys, Truth says he has not seen him, either. Damian Priest shows up and says that Royce Keys is here and in the building, and when R-Truth asks Priest why he mentioned where Royce Keys is, Priest says that Royce Keys is not their problem.

Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis is on the phone with Sami Zayn, who is on a mental health break, and Sami is not happy with Cody vs. Punk for the WWE Championship at at SummerSlam. Suddenly, Gunther shows up and says that Aldis made a big mistake, but he is going to give him a chance to fix this before the end of the night, as he deserves to be in the ring with the champion and he does not care if he even has to face both Cody and Punk. Aldis says he will take that into consideration.

Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu are in the ring. Jimmy Uso calls out Solo Sikoa, but Royce Keys shows up and heads to the ring instead. Royce Keys addresses Jimmy Uso mentioning his name both last week and this week, then says that "the family business" is starting to affect everyone and is starting to affect him. Jimmy Uso says tonight is about "OTC business," and when Royce mentions that Roman Reigns is not here, Jacob Fatu steps up and says that they are good friends and that they should keep it that away. He tells Royce that he can say anything about anyone else, but warns him not to mention Roman Reigns again. Royce Keys says it does not have to be like this, and when Jimmy Uso says that nobody tells them what to do and that Royce Keys is not family, Royce Keys says that royalty, not blood, makes family, and that Jacob is his family and he will not let that fall. Jacob tells Royce that he will cross a line that he will not be able to come back from, and Royce says that he did not come here to fight, but he will cross that line. Jimmy thinks Royce is crazy for taking him and Jacob on, but Jacob tells Jimmy that there is no "we" here and that this is all on Jimmy, because he is out. Jacob then walks away, and Jimmy calls for a referee so they can have a match. Jimmy then goes for a cheap shot, but Royce makes him pay for it by immediately overpowering him.

Jimmy Uso beats Royce Keys. During the match, Solo Sikoa sneaks up on Jimmy Uso from behind on the outside and nearly hits him with a Samoan Spike, but Jacob Fatu comes back and beats up Solo Sikoa. Solo and Jacob go at it on the outside, and Jacob gets Solo in the Tongan Death Grip. Back in the ring, this allows Jimmy Uso to hit the Spear on a distracted Royce Keys for the pin and the win. After the match, Jacob gets Solo back in the ring to stomp a mudhole in him, then Royce Keys confronts Jacob. Jacob superkicks Royce and hits him with a senton, then takes a chair from Jimmy and wraps it around Solo's head. Jacob stops short of a hip attack on Solo and tells him to be ready next week on Raw, and this time, he will not stop.

We see Sami Zayn's message from after last week's Raw where Sami calls CM Punk a "piece of shit" for just waltzing in and taking the WWE Championship from him.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews CM Punk, who says that all challengers can get in line and that he has been called much worse by people other than Sami Zayn. Candice LeRae shows up, and Johnny Gargano is planking on a nearby box. Candice says Sami is the only one who did not give up on Gargano and was "the voice of the voiceless" and that Sami was their hope until Punk took that from them. Punk tells Gargano and Candice to get back in the ring, as this is not working. As he walks away, Punk runs into Finn Balor, who welcomes him to the blue brand.

We hear from Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid), who talk about how they will be the center of attention in Madison Square Garden and how they will take the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships from Paige and Brie Bella at Saturday Night's Main Event, courtesy of Chime.

Jade Cargill beats Alexa Bliss. During the match, B-Fab trips Alexa on the outside, and that allows Charlotte Flair to send Jade Cargill neck-first into the ropes behind the referee's back. "Michin" Mia Yim goes after Charlotte only to eat a big boot, then B-Fab sends Charlotte into the ring post. Alexa takes out B-Fab afterwards, but Cargill is soon able to hit Alexa with a pump kick followed by Jaded for the pin and the win. After the match, Michin grabs a chair, but Charlotte stops Cargill from grabbing it. Michin and B-Fab almost overpower Charlotte, but Charlotte fends them off until Cargill superkicks her. Cargill places Alexa's left arm inside the chair and bends the arm back to the point of injuring it as officials arrive too late.

Backstage, Trick Williams is looking for the WWE United States Championship and blames Ricky Saints for it, then Lil Yachty shows up with a United States Championship belt lined with white fur. Yachty then tells Trick to give "a diamond butt-whuppin'" to Carmelo Hayes tonight.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams ends with both men being attacked by a returning Baron Corbin (formerly known as Bishop Dyer), who has not been seen in WWE in over a year.

Gunther heads to the ring. Gunther says that he gave General Manager Nick Aldis until the end of the evening to fix things, and demands that Aldis give him a decision. Aldis shows up and says that despite their history, he will give Gunther exactly what he wants. He gives Gunther "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and CM Punk at Madison Square Garden on Saturday Night's Main Event, but Cody and Punk will team up against Gunther and Sami Zayn. Aldis says the mistake he needs to fix is thinking Gunther would not be a pain in his ass after signing him to SmackDown. Gunther attacks Aldis in response and puts him in a sleeper hold that officials have to break up. Gunther seemingly walks away, then puts Aldis in a sleeper hold and attacks him again. He lets go, then locks in a third sleeper to end the show. The show fades to black as "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring. After the show goes off the air, Cody dares Gunther to fight him, but Gunther heads to the back.

Moose says that he will cherish that forever, then says that he will continue to dominate in TNA. He says that he chases nobody, and if anyone wants some, they can come get some. Kazarian says that Moose has held it down and become dominant in TNA, and that Moose is in the conversation of who the face of TNA is, but Moose says that he is the conversation. This leads to Kazarian asking Moose "Are you stupid?" and saying that he has to be to say he is the face of the franchise while in the presence of a king, but Moose wants to know who crowned Kazarian "King of TNA." Kazarian says it is the people, but Moose says he is "the face of the franchise" because he has seen people come and go and has seen people make a name for themselves in TNA and leave to chase money and stardom. Moose then says that he is not going anywhere, and for that, he is "the face of the place." Kazarian says that he is the last TNA original standing, a pioneer of the X-Division, and a Grand Slam Champion who has helped build TNA from the ground up. Moose says that Kazarian may be the most annoying person in the locker room, he respects him and considers him a pillar of TNA. Moose then mentions that he and Kazarian have never had a singles match. Moose proposes that they give the fans a first-time-ever dream match, but Kazarian says he has no interest in that and says that he has talked to somebody and that they both agree that Moose is an idiot with an ugly NFL career. That person ends up being AJ Francis, who shows up with Expressions and mentions his own NFL career before saying Moose left the NFL before he could arrive because he is scared of him. KC Navarro heads to the ring. Navarro talks about last week, saying he spent a lot of time with a man he looked up to, respected and called a hero only to be turned on, then says that if "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth is a real man, then he should come to the ring to explain himself. Nic Nemeth shows up and says he believed in Navarro and thought that if he could have some time, he could make Navarro into the next upcoming star of TNA, but "nobody has that much time" and he realized that Navarro did not deserve to stand near him. He says that Navarro is "pretty good," but he just "does not have it." Navarro says he busted eleven years to get to TNA and says that it is Nic's brother "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth who does not have "it." Navarro is suddenly blindsided by Ryan, and Nic says that it is easy to say that blood is thicker than water, then says that Navarro did not even belong to be in his shadow before telling Navarro to leave him and his family alone.

Omega then tells MJF that he will not make it easy, and asks MJF if he is willing to stomp out his last dream of headlining All In. He says that he is ready this time and that this will not like their match in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

He hopes that by the end of tonight, Omega will get past MJF's antics and face him at All In. MJF shows up and tells Ospreay that he should be thanking him instead of judging him, as he has put AEW in a golden era, and says that he was "the feeling" all along while Ospreay and Omega are just "good little wrestlers." MJF then tells Ospreay that after tonight, Omega will never challenge for his championship ever again, and he will then take great pleasure in breaking Ospreay's neck at All In. Ospreay says that MJF is nowhere near the best and begs for people to tell him how good he is and that until MJF can do it on his own, he will not be part of the conversation and never will be. Foley then tells Callis about credibility before mentioning his custom-made shoes with his late dog Randall and his current dog Wooffall. He then tells Callis that if he interrupts him again, Wooffall will get acquainted with the inner confines of Callis' ass. Knight congratulates Fletcher for bringing the International Championship back, saying it took him long enough, then says that he is still owed a World title shot. Suddenly, Andrade el Idolo shows up and says he was the best of The Don Callis Family and that Callis promised him the AEW World Championship, but now, he promises to take one title from him. Callis tells Andrade that if he wants a belt, then he can get into the meat grinder and challenge Mark Davis for the AEW National Championship if he can beat Jake Doyle. Andrade el Idolo answers by daring the entire family to attack him, and Mark Davis, "The Machine" Brian Jake Doyle and Kevin Knight chase him to the back, where they are attacked by Darby Allin. Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 6, 2026

Backstage, Sami Zayn arrives for tonight's show and meets with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Sami says that Cody thinks he will beat him, then tells him that this is not happening and that he is walking out of the ring as champion. Cody tells Sami that he will be the one that wins, and when Sami says "We'll see about that" and leaves, Cody is suddenly attacked by Gunther. Gunther then tells Sami that he, not Cody, is his problem now and that his championship victory is a fluke. He then says that he will come after him, then boots Cody into Sami's car and bloodies him up to show Sami what will happen when he does.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Rollins welcomes everyone to tonight's show in Chicago, Illinois, then everyone starts chanting for CM Punk. Rollins tells everyone that he could care less about Punk right now. Rollins states that his business is beating Roman Reigns and getting back the World Heavyweight Championship that he never lost at SummerSlam. He then says that Roman is not here either because he felt it not important to be here or "the check wasn't big enough." He says that Reigns has been "the chosen one" from day one and that nobody wants to hold him responsible. He goes on to say that The Shield debuted as a trio, yet it was clear that Reigns would be the chosen one. Rollins says that it did not matter how good Reigns was at anything, from cutting a promo to wrestling his way out of a paper bag, he would be the star. He says that did not sit well with him, and says that since he was a boy like the kids in the front row, he wanted to be a star. He says that did not sit well with him, and says that since he was a boy like the kids in the front row, he wanted to be a star. Rollins says that seeing his dream to be a star handed to someone else broke something in him. Rollins says he broke up The Shield so he could catch up to and stay close to Roman Reigns, and while he admits it was petty, he believed that if he worked hard and believed in himself, he could still achieve those dreams. He felt that he and Reigns were running the same race, but now he knows he is mistaken. Rollins then mentions Reigns admitting that he worked ten times less than him and made ten times more than him with such bravado it made him want to puke. Rollins says it was not about the money or the mansion, but the work, the hustle, the grind and the ability to make something of himself. He says that Reigns has to beat him at SummerSlam because he needs to justify what he has been trying to prove to himself for the last fifteen years: that he is not a fraud. Rollins then says that he has to beat Reigns just as much to prove to his younger self that through hard work, sacrifice and dreams, one can achieve greatness. Suddenly, Rollins is interrupted by LA Knight. LA Knight makes his way to the ring, and Knight says that there is no way that he is going to listen to this again after boring everyone to sleep with Reigns two weeks ago, then says that Reigns and Rollins bloviate each other and talk about their greatness. He says that this somehow got Rollins a title shot, even though he lost in the first round of the King of the Ring Tournament just like he did, and says that the difference between himself and Rollins is that he is not making a claim for nostalgia's sake. Knight says that Rollins has had so many world title shots that he will not be able to catch him, then states that while business was picking up, he was the one on top. He says that while he made his climb, The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn) and The Vision (Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) both cut him off. He says that Rollins and Reigns are trying to push him back down to the bottom, but they cannot do it, and says that while they are great at keeping people down, he will rise because he must. Rollins asks Knight if he is done, then tells Knight that while he does not like him, he does respect him, as he is a shining example of everything that he just described - hard work, grind, and hustle - and believes his time will come. He then says he cannot worry about Knight, for he must take back the title he never lost, and if Knight wants it, he can be the first person he puts in the dirt. As Rollins leaves, Jimmy Uso gets in the ring and superkicks Knight for talking about his family the moment that Knight turns around.

Backstage, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce kicks Gunther out of the building, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis also shows up. This leads to both men arguing, and Aldis blaming Pearce for Cody Rhodes potentially being injured.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The Vision. Logan Paul is about to speak when Paul Heyman arrives and shoes Cathy away. Heyman tells Breakker that he did not take out Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and Theory that he did not take out Joe Hendry, then tells them to come back with something worthy of him or not to come back to him at all.

The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) to win the World Tag Team Championships for a second time after Angelo Dawkins is about to use Logan Paul's brass knuckles as Logan Paul distracts the referee only for Maxxine Dupri to show up and hit Dawkins from behind with a low blow. After the match, Maxxine Dupri and Austin Theory make out at the bottom of the ramp.

The Vision and Maxxine then leave in a black SUV. As this goes on, Akira Tozawa and Otis come out of hiding from behind, now knowing what Maxxine is up to.

Backstage, Liv Morgan says that The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) will do everything in its power to ensure Raquel Rodriguez walks out as Women's Intercontinental Championship. Ethan and Rusev brag about putting Rey Mysterio on the shelf, then Dragon Lee shows up to stand up for Penta. When Rusev tells Dragon Lee to learn English before he crushes him, Chad Gable then joins Penta and Dragon Lee, and Ethan and Rusev soon walk away.

Sol Ruca retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez after Iyo Sky shows up and takes out both Roxanne Perez and Iyo Sky after they both get involved in the match.

Paul Heyman is in the ring. Heyman addresses Oba Femi, saying he walked into WWE like he owned the placed and sauntered to the ring until he was kicked in the groin by Brock Lesnar, then says that this will be nothing compared to the pain he will suffer inside Hellin a Cell. He says that Oba Femi has inspired, compelled and motivated Brock Lesnar to become "The Beast" and made the biggest mistake of his life by accepting Lesnar's challenge, then says Oba will not come out of Hell in a Cell when Lesnar destroys him. As Heyman leaves, Oba Femi makes his entrance so he can give Heyman a face to talk to. Heyman says he is valuable because he prevents people from making bad mistakes, and says Oba made a bad mistake. Heyman reminds Oba of who he is stepping into Hell in a Cell with Brock Lesnar by mentioning Lesnar's Hell in a Cell accomplishments, then tells Oba that he has entered "The Brocktagon," where he says Lesnar is unbeatable. He says that only one man will leave Hell in a Cell with their reputation intact as the truly unbeatable Superstar in WWE, and that the one man will be Brock Lesnar. Oba mentions that Lesnar showing up last week proved that everything he said about Lesnar got under Lesnar's skin and that Lesnar watches the show, then mentions that Heyman talks about how great Lesnar is and says that he is just "a mouth" for Lesnar. He says that mouths need to be fed, but one cannot be fed if one has no head, and says Heyman is only here because he is scared and because of damage control. Oba says that a man knows when his time has come, and that this is the end for Heyman and Lesnar. Oba says he will beat Lesnar in front of his family and his children, then says one must walk through Hell to get to Heaven and tells Heyman to tell Lesnar that he will see him in Hell.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Sami Zayn. When Sami Zayn finds out that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes is no longer able to compete tonight, Sami is surprised, saying that while they have their differences, he does not wish ill on Cody, who he wanted to test himself against. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and tells Sami Zayn to prepare to defend the WWE Championship, as he has promised a championship match tonight.

We see footage of El Grande Americano at the England vs. Mexico match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with AAA ring announcer Andrea Bazarte.

"All Ego" Ethan Page and Rusev beat Chad Gable and Dragon Lee by submission with an Accolade from Rusev to Dragon Lee. After the match, Chad Gable gets in the ring as Rusev refuses to let go of the Accolade. Gable deadlifts Rusev from behind only to be attacked by Ethan Page, and Rusev then puts the Accolade on Gable while Ethan goes on the attack. Joe Hendry shows up and fends off both Rusev and Ethan, but Rusev hits the Machka Kick on Hendry as Hendry goes for the Standing Ovation on Ethan. Ethan hits Hendry with the Ego-Plex, then Rusev puts Hendry in the Accolade. Officials have to get in the ring and make Rusev break the hold, but that nearly leads to Rusev going back on the attack.

She says that she never had a reason to question her trust in her after sharing everything with her, and cannot understand why Lyra could not just talk to her instead of taking the easy way out. Bayley then tells Lyra to meet her face-to-face next week.

Backstage, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is on the phone when SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis shows up and tells him that he has secured a replacement for "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, and that this Superstar is in the building.

We hear from "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, who tells Danhausen that if he thought last week was bad, then he should wait until Saturday Night's Main Event, as McDonagh will dance on Danhausen's head regardless of who his back-up is. Sami Zayn's opponent is revealed to be CM Punk, who has not been seen since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns.

Let's Go! - LFG recap for July 5, 2026

We see footage of Sirena Linton at her first NXT live event loop. Sirena is more confident in her ability and excited for the future after taking part in it and hearing the crowd react.

Bubba Ray Dudley gets Braxton Cole and Jaime Garcia, and Matt Bloom wants more out of Braxton's book gimmick. Booker T gets Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield vs. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Matt Bloom wants Elijah to work with an established tag team in NXT.

PJ Vasa feels that Sirena Linton could be a big star one day, and Sirena feels that PJ is "a phenomenal performer" and that she needs to match her energy. Kevin Owens meets with the both of them and gives them ideas for the match.

Sirena Linton beats PJ Vasa. During the match, Kevin Owens approves of the execution, but does not see a lot of emotion.

Bubba Ray Dudley meets with Braxton Cole and Jaime Garcia. Bubba comes up with the scenario where the babyface sees the book coming and the heel gets frustrated, as well as a cutoff spot. Jaime Garcia comes up with the scenario for seeing the book coming.

Before the next match, Braxton Cole cuts a promo. Braxton introduces himself as "the Ph.D. of WWE" before reading a passage from "Privilege Without Apologies" by Wendell Kendington. It is not long before he is interrupted by Jaime Garcia's entrance.

Jaime Garcia beats Braxton Cole. During the match, Braxton Cole tries to use the book as a weapon, but Jaime Garcia dropkicks him and knocks the book out of his hands - and out of its slipcover - to get the win. After the match, Bubba Ray Dudley wants Braxton to work on his arrogance as well as his ability to show frustration. He also does not want Jaime Garcia to get nervous in case he does not hear a reaction.

Booker T meets with Apollo Crews, Elijah Holyfield, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. The aim of their match is to introduce Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield as a tag team and getting Elijah over in the match. Elijah notes how quickly he has gone from learning how to forward roll from Hank and Tank in the tryouts to being in a match with them. Booker T introduces Hank Walker and Elijah Holyfield to the process of "getting light" by lifting his right toe from the mat to the air while being picked up for a scoop slam.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beat Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield after Holyfield knocks out Hank, but not Tank, who is the legal man for his team. After the match, Elijah and Apollo are congratulated by Booker T, who says that Elijah was able to perform and "pass the test," as is Hank and Tank. Hank and Tank approve of Elijah's performance.

Rosenberg says that Cabrera asked for a fight and that Alex Ace will not disappoint, for it is in Cabrera's destiny.

The Evantourage ("Main Evant" Evan Daniels, Bryce Saturn, Damian Desire) head to the ring to start this week's show. Daniels sits in a director's chair as he addresses the elephant in the room, and states that as of today, he is the longest reigning UWN Television Champion of all time. Daniels says he did it all by himself, but even Bryce Saturn and Damian Desire are not buying it, and Daniel says that Saturn and Desire were nothing until he put them under his wing before claiming that they have proven themselves useless to him. Saturn snatches the microphone from Daniels' hands and says he and Desire have helped him time and time again and have sacrificed everything for him, and that Daniels would not have the longest Television Championship reign - or have won the title to begin wth - without them. Saturn says that he and Desire are stars and do not have to walk around with "a stupid-ass star jacket" to prove it. Daniels looks away from Saturn, which Saturn acknowledges as the crowd chants "stupid jacket" and Saturn tells Daniels that he is done and that The Evanourage is done. Saturn takes his Evantourage shirt off and gets in Daniels' face, and when Desire tries to play peacemaker, Daniels shoves him down. Desire takes his Evantourage shirt off, says "Screw you!" to Daniels, then he and Saturn leave. Daniels does not care, then says that the UWN Television Championship is on the line next month against Ray Jaz at Sunday Night Slam, and he will prove that Ray Jaz is nothing compared to him.

"The Anomaly" Alex Ace vs. Che Cabrera ends in a no-contest. During the match, Jordan Cruz shows up with a metal folding chair and hits Alex Ace in the legs with it behind the referee's back and manages to get away in time. Backstage, we hear from Jordan Castle and "One in a Million" Maximilien. Jordan Castle mentions the Jordan Castle Invitational and how Mathias was put out of his misery for good. He then says "Poppin'" EJ Styles was not invited and spoiled the fun, yet instead of being mad at Sparks, he is disappointed at himself after he showed him mercy last year when Maximilien beat him for the UWN Heritage Championship and ruined his glory in return. Jordan Castle then says Maximilien will not be as nice next time, for last time, Maximilen took the Heritage Championship; next time, he will take Sparks' career.

Willie Mack vs. Jordan Cruz for the UWN World Championship from June's Sunday Night Slam is replayed.

He says that he did not become selfish to win the WWE Undisputed Championship and that he won it his way and the right way. He also says that he could tell those who said he could never win the big one to kiss his ass, but he will not, because this is a celebration and he will forever go down as one of the all-time greats, a WrestleMania main eventer and a Grand Slam champion. As Sami states that nobody can take this away from him, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes suddenly shows up and heads to the ring. Sami asks Cody what he wants to talk about. Cody says that Sami was the first to celebrate with him when he won his first WWE Championship, and that he is here to return the favor before he shakes his hand. As Carmelo tells Trick to put the title up against someone he knows best, saying that Trick has "two left feet and a mouth full of marbles" when in the ring with him, then Lil Yachty interrupts and tells Carmelo he has his match next week. He then says the match is not for the title, as Carmelo has had his chance and Trick needs to get his reps in, and that when Trick wins, Carmelo will have no more excuses as to why he cannot get the job done. The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander) suddenly show up, and Alisha Edwards says that the only way for Ricky to make a name for himself in TNA is to ride with The System. Eddie tells Ricky that the truth is right there in front of him with Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander, and asks Ricky if he wants to be a champion or join a cult. Vincent says Eddie is speaking empty promises, and that The System view Ricky as a threat. Vincent also alludes to Eddie's recent No Surrender Match loss before Ricky Sosa declares that he is joining neither faction and that he is aligning himself with the fans. Bronson attacks Ricky before staring down Dutch, and Ricky boots Bronson in the face. All of a sudden, Leon Slater shows up and fights off The System before brawling with Cedric and getting laid out by Bronson. The System soon overpower both Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater.

She hopes Slammiversary taught Lei Ying Lee that the women's division belongs to Brookside, and says that if anyone comes between her and the title, she will do whatever it takes to keep it. Suddenly, she is interrupted by Lei Ying Lee, who says that there will be a day that she is happy for her and happy that they wrestled each other, but after all Brookside did to her and how Brookside had to cheat to win, she sees not a champion, but "a fake bitch." She says that Brookside now has everything to lose, as she has her championship rematch next week. Brookside tries to hit Lei Ying Lee with the title before escaping Warrior's Way, and Lei Ying Lee says that if Brookside wants weapons, their match can be no-disqualification.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for July 1, 2026

In backstage footage from Forbidden Door, Renee Paquette interviews Will Ospreay and Alex Windsor. Ospreay talks about how he is excited to be at All In when Jon Moxley shows up. Moxley meets with Ospreay after Renee and Windsor leave, and Moxley tells Ospreay that if he wants to be "the real thing," he must live it. He says that AEW can be something great in the greatest sport in the world, and while the business is full of unsavory people, it is up to them to protect AEW and preserve the craft. He then gives Ospreay a Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marin Shafir) patch, saying that he has earned the right to ride with The Death Riders and that he is proud of him. Moxley leaves, then Kenny Omega shows up and says he is proud of Ospreay. Ospreay says that he knows that Omega is concerned about him, then tells Omega that he is not his father. MJF shows up, and Omega reminds MJF that he has him to deal with after Mark Briscoe if he survives. MJF tells Ospreay he will see him at Wembley Stadium, then leaves. Omega tells Ospreay they will always be friends and that what Ospreay has going on with The Death Riders does not affect their friendship, then tells Ospreay to take care of himself.

MJF retains the AEW World Championship against Mark Briscoe after countering a Jay Driller with a waterwheel slam followed by the Heatseeker. After the match, MJF hits Briscoe with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. MJF then forces medical staff out of the ring, but before Briscoe can get up so that MJF can hit him again, Kenny Omega shows up. MJF retreats. Omega reiterates to MJF that he will be knocking down his door and proposes that MJF has the energy to face him tonight. MJF says it is bad enough he had to come to California and wrestle Briscoe, and refuses to wrestle Omega again. He says that it is laughable that Omega wants another shot at his title after losing to him twice and having kicked out of the One Winged Angel, and says he will not face him at first before suddenly having a big idea. MJF says he will wrestle Omega for the title next week on one condition, and if he does not get an answer by next week, he will not get his shot. If MJF retains, Omega will never be able to become AEW World Championship ever again.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews MJF. MJF addresses Andrade el Idolo for putting his hands on him and says that payback is coming and it will hit like a ton of bricks, then lists off who he has beaten in AEW and says that Kenny Omega is 0-2 against him before proclaiming that he is the best in the world. He then says that Omega will not agree to his terms because he is "literally gutless." Will Ospreay shows up and tells MJF not to hurt himself "sucking [himself] off like that" before asking why MJF put up a stipulation. MJF says he is the champ and Ospreay is not, then tells Ospreay he will see him in Wembley Stadium.

Tony Schiavone interviews Andrade el Idolo on the stage. Andrade declares that he is done with The Don Callis Family and MJF and that he will become the AEW World Champion. He then asks "How you know?" before he is attacked from behind by Jake Doyle, Lance Archer and "The Machine" Brian Cage. Don Callis leads the charge as Kevin Knight also shows up, and Brian Cage hits Andrade with the Drill Claw. Callis then commands Andrade to be thrown out of the ring, as Knight has a match to win. Andrade is tossed out of the ring by Brian Cage.

We hear from Mercedes Moné, who boasts about becoming the first-ever two-time Women's Owen Hart winner and how she dominates everywhere she goes and proves that she, not dreams, wins championships. She then says that the AEW Women's World Championship is the last piece to what is already hers.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Jet" Kevin Knight retains the TNT Championship against Lio Rush. At the beginning of the match, Lio Rush shows up with a backpack containing a completely blackened Ring of Honor World Television Championship. It is announced that Collision will air tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. After the match, Darby Allin shows up and wants a TNT Championship Match, and says that if Knight says no, what happened at Forbidden Door will keep happening. Callis takes the microphone from Knight and says Darby has been a great wrestler and champion, but he crossed the line from wrestler to criminal at Forbidden Door, and his family does not reward criminal behavior and that Darby will not get a match as long as he has something to say about it. Darby says that Knight has dug his grave as Callis says that Darby will not get a match and that Darby should be in a cell.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Tommaso Ciampa, who demands that Renee declare that he is better than Jericho. All of a sudden, Ciampa is whacked in the head with a garbage can by Jericho, who then tosses Ciampa into some chairs. When security gets involved out side of the arena in the loading bay, Ciampa jumps them and throws more things at Jericho while attacking security. He then tries to attack Jericho with a power drill before Jericho fights back. Security gets their hands on Ciampa, but Jericho dives on all of them from the back of a truck before even more security shows up and separates them.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kenny Omega, who is conversing with The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Matt has faith in Omega to beat MJF, but Nick is a little apprehensive. Omega says he has not made a decision yet and that this decision is important, and asks what is left for him if he cannot challenge for the AEW World Championship and what is in it for MJF.

Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay beat The Lethal Twist ("Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson).

In backstage footage from after Forbidden Door, Lexy Nair interviews Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Christian wants to know why "Switchblade" Jay White, and Copeland says that Jay White owed him a favor and that they are even. Christian mentions that he had and still has a problem with Jay White before Jay White's injury.

The Bang Bang Gang ("Switchblade" Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin) heads to the ring. Jay White says he was out of action for 459 days and that things have changed since then, then says that The Bang Bang Gang are back together again and wants to know "who let The Dogs (Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd, David Finlay) out." Jay White mentions his history with David Finlay, then says that nothing changes the fact that Finlay is "a nepo baby bitch boy." He says that the stench of Finlay's arrogance has lingered for far too long and that he is here to clear the air, then says Sunday was just the beginning.

We hear from Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty) backstage. Shane Taylor says that they run Collision, and Carlie Bravo challenges The Bang Bang Gang ("Switchblade" Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin) to a eight-man tag match at Collision.

Hikaru Shida beats Harley Cameron, Maika, Queen Aminata, Persephone and Kris Statlander in a Survival of the Fittest Match to win the vacant TBS Championship! Harley Cameron is eliminated by Persephone when Persephone takes advantage of Harley's showboating. Maika is eliminated by Hikaru Shida with a schoolkid pin after Shida uses referee Aubrey Edwards as a human shield. Statlander eliminates Persephone after Persephone counters Staturday Night Special with a roll-up only for Statlander to counter with a roll-up of her own. Statlander is eliminated by Shida by submission after Statlander gets to the ropes to escape an ankle lock only to be blasted in the face with the TBS Championship by an already-eliminated Persephone, which knocks Statlander out and allows Shida to win the match and become champion.

Kenny Omega heads to the ring when Will Ospreay stops him and asks Omega if he thinks this is a good idea, saying that he believes in Omega before asking Omega if he believes in himself. Omega says this is his Death Ground, and if he goes out, he goes out guns blazing. Omega then heads to the ring and talks about how he has been part of professional wrestling for more than half his life and giving the people everything that he has in the ring. He says he has won titles and set records that could never be broken again and has had a career that can be looked upon fondly, but there is a selfish part of him that knows that it is not enough and that there is a little bit more in the tank. Omega says that if everyone else can believe just one more time, then he knows he can be a champion everyone can be part of and stand on the greatest stage in Wembley Stadium and represent All Elite Wrestling against Will Ospreay. He says that the cost that MJF wants him to make is not too high, and mentions that MJF has anticipated the possibility that he is "the god of professional wrestling" that he has been known to be. Omega says that having one more chance to beat the brakes off MJF while he is still healthy puts a fire in him, and that he not only accepts MJF's challenge, he demands that MJF brings what is his. All of a sudden, Omega is attacked from behind by MJF, and Omega fights back until officials and security rush in to separate both men. MJF manages to get out of the ring as the show ends. (Some of the security guards are played by Dom Kubrick, Slade and McCallion of Delirium (both unmasked), and current United Wrestling Network World Champion Jordan Cruz.)
