Many questions have been brought up because of this, and now all of the men impacted by Marty's actions - Pentagon Dark, Mil Muertes, King Cuerno and El Dragon Azteca Jr. - will do battle with one another in a Four-Way #1 Contender's Match where the winner will face Marty for the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha Cuatro.

He says that there will be no match as long as XO Lishus is around, and says he quits. Antonio Cueto, who has been watching, says nobody likes quitters, but at the same time, he is a compassionate boss who hears Evans' complaints. He makes it clear that Jack Evans will fight tonight, and if he wins, he can walk out the door. If he loses, however, he will never walk out of the temple ever again, as he has been chosen to become the next sacrifice to the gods. Jack Evans tries to run, but the doors are locked and Matanza Cueto comes out of them soon afterwards. Evans tries to run away from Matanza, but Antonio Cueto trips Jack Evans with his cane.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for September 25, 2018

R-Truth and Carmella are in the ring to start tonight's show with Truth TV, having hijacked the Miz TV set. Tonight's guest is Daniel Bryan, who shows up. R-Truth looks through a bunch of index cards, then asks Daniel Bryan how cathartic it would be to defeat The Miz at Super Show-Down and move one step closer to the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan says that Truth TV is better than Miz TV, then the "Truth TV seven-second dance break" commences before Daniel Bryan tries to answer the question again. Daniel Bryan says he spent so much energy to come back to WWE, but he did not just want to come back; he wanted to be WWE Champion as he has unfinished business with the title as well as with The Miz, who he says has cheated to win. If he can beat Miz, it would be rather cathartic, as he wants to prove he is the best as opposed to The Miz, who just wants to say he is the best. Before he can say much else, The Miz shows up. Miz wants to know what Truth is doing on his show, and as the fans chant "Truth TV!", Truth says he beat Miz two weeks ago, and that if he had a championship, it would be his; instead, Miz has a talk show, so he just took that. Miz tells Truth he is an idiot, but Truth says he is an idiot with a talk show. Miz then says he and Daniel Bryan have their differences, with Daniel Bryan being the "scrappy, relatable underdog" being the favorite. He says that Daniel Bryan's fighting fair is why he will not win, as he has beaten Daniel Bryan by any means necessary before and he will do it again at Super Show-Down. He says Daniel only foiled one of his 300 ideas last week, and he has an idea for every second of every day and he will pull them out at Super Show-Down. Miz says the only way Daniel Bryan can beat him is if he stops fighting fair and does anything and everything possible, even though he says Daniel Bryan is afraid of losing the hope of the people and tarnishing his own name in the eyes of the fans. Truth tells Miz to stop blaspheming Daniel Bryan's name, and bans Miz from Truth TV for wrecking the animal segment. Miz says this isn't even Truth's show. R-Truth tells Miz that if he wants his show back, he will fight him for it. Before Miz can say anything else, Truth TV has another dance break. and The Miz leaves. Backstage, The Miz is met by General Manager Paige, who tells The Miz to go to the ring and win his show back if he wants it back so badly.

Last week, Cesaro beat him, and it would just be silly for them to come out to the ring and not take them seriously. Big E says that since they have a lot of respect for them, they decided to play a little game called the "#SaySomethingNice Challenge." Woods says that even though The New Day make fun of his nipples and that he looks like a Swiss Jason Statham, they enjoy his movies and that is a good thing. Big E tries to say something about Sheamus, but Sheamus takes the microphone and says The New Day may have the people fooled, but they don't have them fooled, as The New Day wants to joke around while they want to fight. Cesaro says the mockery will come to an end at Super Show-Down when they take the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and that the laughs will end for Big E tonight when Sheamus beats the crap out of him.

Sheamus beats Big E with a Brogue Kick after countering the Big Ending.

Backstage, General Manager Paige asks "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles not to destroy everything in the ring during the contract signing, as some of the things are expensive. Styles tells Paige that he is just here to sign a contract, and if he does need to destroy anything, it will be Samoa Joe.

Backstage, Rusev tells Lana that Aiden English will pay for what he did, and wants to know why Aiden attacked him last week.

Rusev and Lana show up. Rusev says that last week, Aiden English betrayed him on the greatest day of them all, Rusev Day. Before he crushes him, he calls out Aiden to explain why Aiden attacked him. Aiden English shows up and says he knows Rusev is angry and has the right to be, but this is not his fault. He says that Rusev was a super-talented super-athlete before he met him, but nobody cared about Rusev. He says that Rusev was floundering and lacked direction, but he saw potential and joined him, making him the most beloved Superstar in WWE. We then see a video package of Aiden English and Rusev's rise through the tag team ranks, then Aiden English tells Rusev that they were a great team that was destined to be legendary and asks what happened. He then says Lana happened, and says this whole mess is Lana's fault. We see another video package, this one chronicling Lana's time in the trio, where Aiden and Lana suddenly came at odds. Aiden says it was simpler when it was just him and Rusev. Lana tells Aiden that she made Rusev into an unstoppable force and even got him a tank to ride out at WrestleMania, and he says that while Aiden does a great job at being a glorified cheerleader, he is trying to create a name for himself through Rusev. Aiden says nobody would question Lana's dedication to Rusev, and asks that with all her honesty, will she tell Rusev about that one night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Aiden then drops the microphone on the stage and leaves.

Naomi and Asuka get ready for their match backstage, and Naomi does not expect Asuka to hit as hard as she does.

Backstage, Lana tells Rusev that she does not know what Aiden English is talking about concerning Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Suddenly, Becky Lynch shows up and says Milwaukee is a fine town. Lana tells Becky to mind her own business, but Becky says he runs the SmackDown women's division and that she is her business. She tells Lana to tell Rusev to carry her bags to the car when she is done with her, as she won't physically be able to when she walks back out the curtain.

Before the next match, The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) are about to speak, but Naomi and Asuka make their entrance before they can say a word. They guest on commentary for the next match. It is also mentioned that the next match has occurred after Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose mocked Asuka and Naomi earlier today.

Asuka and Naomi beat Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.

"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger vs. "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura ends with Randy Orton attacking Dillinger before hitting him with a draping DDT off the apron. Afterwards, Nakamura teases leaving, but turns around to hit Dillinger with a Kinshasa into the LED board on the side of the ring.

Backstage, Lana stretches for her match before Rusev wishes her luck and tells her he believes her.

Backstage, Randy Orton is interviewed by Mike Rome. Orton says that "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger is not his next victim, but admits that Dillinger's "perfect ten crap" pisses him off.

Becky Lynch beats Lana with the Dis-Arm-Her. After the match, Kalya Braxton interviews Aiden English backstage. Aiden says that next week, he will show video evidence of proof of something Lana did in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

General Manager Paige is in the ring for the contract signing for Samoa Joe vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Super Show-Down. She says that due to a controversial ending at Hell In A Cell, she had to make the match a no count-out, no disqualification match, as there has to be a winner. She introduces Styles, who shows up. When she introduces Samoa Joe, however, Joe doesn't show up. Styles says Joe does not have the guts to meet him face-to-face and sign on the dotted line and says Joe is more likely to attack him from behind, and that he has eyes in the back of his head tonight. Styles says Joe has another opportunity to take the WWE Championship from him in a match that is more up Joe's alley as he does not follow the rules. Suddenly, Samoa Joe is seen on the TitanTron and says that the great thing about the wrestling business is that they get to travel the world, experience new cultures, go to exotic places and see things they'd never think they'd see. Tonight, he finds himself in one of those places: Styles' home. He says that he told Styles' wife Wendy and daughter Annie that "daddy is coming home," and that Styles has done well for himself. He asks Styles if he feels helplessness and if that helplessness is turning into horror into the fact that there is nothing he can do. He asks if Styles feels guilty for not listening to his warnings, then says Styles is far away. He tells Styles to call his wife, then realizes Styles does not bring his phone to the ring. He then says he has a doll for Annie that Annie is sure to love, then asks if Styles feels enraged because he knows his family is near his home. He asks if that rage is turning into fear, then tells him to remember that feeling when he meets him for the WWE Championship at Super Show-Down, as this has always been about consequences. He says that it is one thing to deny him the WWE Championship, but it is another thing to steal it from him, which demands consequences. He then rings the doorbell to AJ Styles' house before saying "Daddy's home."

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 24, 2018

The show starts with General Manager Baron Corbin helping Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and COO Triple H out of their car. Corbin wishes Stephanie a happy birthday Triple H leaves immediately when Stephanie says she has something to say to Corbin. Stephanie chews Corbin out for putting himself in a match for the WWE Universal Championship, saying that he is not being a leader like she expected him to be, and while she can understand mistakes being made, she will not take excuses. Stephanie tells Corbin to get two tag team partners and take care of business with The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) or else Kurt Angle will be back from vacation sooner rather than later.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up to start tonight's show. Ambrose says everyone is looking at "the three workhorses" of the WWE, and while they have lost a few battles here and there, they have not lost the war and they are still here. Reigns says the fans could read their resumes, but it could probably take all day, and says that all they have to do is raise their titles high as they are the keys to the kingdom and everyone should want them, saying they can change a person's life. However, he feels the only people deserving of them are The Shield. Rollins says that is because this is and always will be about being the best, and that is what they are. He says that Braun Strowman recruited "a pack of jackasses" to take them down at Super Show-Down, but that will not happen. He also says that General Manager Baron Corbin is having a problem with them, and calls him out so they can show how much of a problem they can be. Baron Corbin shows up that Stephanie is here and that it is her birthday. He also says he will not let Raw erupt into madness like it has the last couple of weeks, and that he and his partners will throw The Shield around like a bunch of rag dolls so he can impress Stephanie. He plans to expose The Shield as a bunch of egos, and he plans to prove that with Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Braun Strowman, who all show up. Strowman tells Roman Reigns to shine the Universal title up real nice, as he will not be wearing it for very long. He also says cracks are forming in The Shield and that they will fall apart from the inside. Ziggler says he remembers being with Ambrose as WWE Champion, and says he knows how good he can be without The Shield. McIntyre says the truth hurts, and that Ambrose pushed him to his absolute limit last week. He tells Ambrose to look into his eyes, and that he deserves more and that Reigns and Rollins do not approve of him. Ziggler also mentions that Ambrose was the one Rollins called up to defeat him and McIntyre. He also says Ambrose has gotten nothing out of reforming The Shield, and says that Rollins and Reigns won't even let him speak before questioning Ambrose and Rollins' friendship outside of the ring. Ziggler then finishes by saying that Strowman will beat Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, and says that if Ambrose joins their side, everything will come to him. Reigns tells Ziggler to shut up. He says that the fans paid money for them to whip their asses, and calls them out for a fight. Baron Corbin runs ahead and stops a brawl before it can begin, saying this is not happening right now. Corbin says he and his partners will deal with The Shield and spoil their reunion before it even begins as Ziggler and McIntyre defend the Raw tag team titles later tonight.

Finn Balor beats a distracted Jinder Mahal with a schoolboy pin after Bayley slaps Alicia Fox and hits a Bayley-To-Belly on Sunil Singh after tripping Jinder from the outside behind the referee's back in response to Sunil grabbing at Finn Balor's ankle. He says that he is a forgiving and generous man, and introduces Lio Rush to the show. Lio Rush shows up, and Owens asks Lio Rush to simply walk into the ring as part of the show. Lio Rush says that he and Lashley made him and Elias look like fools, and that Owens and Elias are here to make up for those failures. He says that he may be young, but he is not naive, and he is staying on the stage. Elias says they have special seating for Lio Rush, and Owens pulls out a high chair booster seat. Lio Rush then introduces Denver, Colorado's own Bobby Lashley after announcing that Lashley has a rematch with Elias next.

Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for September 19, 2018

The show begins with a brief recap of progress in the Women's Division from the first season of the show to the eighth and current, going from the Divas match being cut and moved to Raw to a series of firsts for female competitors...and "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey.

Brie, Nikki and Nia Jax take part in a Birdiebee photo shoot. The three of them are surprised at how much exposure the women have at WrestleMania, and Nia Jax has a great first impression of "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. Nia Jax hopes that her talent is good enough.

Paige makes her return to Total Divas, and she is in New Orleans, Louisiana - where she debuted on the Raw after WrestleMania - four years ago. She cannot wrestle due to an injury that is so bad that she is forced to retire, and she will have to make a retirement speech on the Raw after WrestleMania this year. Paige and Nia Jax bond on the way to the hotel and Paige wants to do something together with Nia Jax, and Nia Jax says she'll let her know if she can as she has a busy day ahead of her.

Four days until WrestleMania, Nattie catches up with Paige, Lana and Trinity at the airport. The four of them head to a swamp tour, and Nattie talks about her husband TJ's role as a producer backstage and how he is enjoying it when Paige talks about her upcoming retirement.

At Brie and Bryan's house, Brie tells Bryan that Birdiebee might be in the WWE Superstore and that she may step up and become the president of Birdiebee.

At the swamp tour, Paige, Lana, Nattie, Trinity and Sonya DeVille get a close-up look at alligators and swamp pigs. Paige announces her intent of seeing the more spiritual side of New Orleans, Louisiana - such as psychics and voodoo dolls - in order to deal with her injury. Trinity wants nothing of the sort, though, and wishes Paige would stay positive and believe in herself.

At the WWE Superstore, Nattie and Lana get a first look at the products, and Birdiebee has space at the store. Nattie gets a call from Brie, and Brie asks Nattie to spread the word on Instagram. Nattie promises that Birdiebee will sell out this year, as she hopes that this year will be special for Brie and Bryan. Lana captures footage as Nattie tells people that if they show up at the Superstore, they will meet Nikki, Brie and Bryan.

At WrestleMania Axxess, Nattie and TJ sign autographs. Surprisingly to her, her husband TJ is still popular with fans.

Paige conducts numerous interviews. When asked if she will return to the ring, she simply says "never say never," and Paige feels bad that she has to keep herself together and to keep her retirement under wraps.

Paige, Nia Jax and Lana see Nattie spreading the word about Birdiebee at the WWE Superstore at WrestleMania Axxess on Bourbon Street. Sonya Deville is also there. Nia Jax thinks Nattie is going a bit far with it, and Lana feels that Nattie is promising that Nikki, Brie and Bryan will be there when they may not be there at all. Paige meets with a psychic at a table to get her fortune read, and Trinity says that she does not want to deal with things such as tarot cards and voodoo dolls because if it doesn't have anything to do with God or Jesus, she isn't interested. Paige tries to get Trinity interested, but Trinity says all she will do is shake her hand and say hello. When she tries to, the psychic tells her she is not ready to meet her.

Everyone at New Orleans heads to a restaurant. Nia Jax feels stressed about her singles match at WrestleMania against Alexa Bliss. She says that Alexa have had a falling out and that there is animosity between the two of them. Paige feels bad since she cannot take part in WrestleMania, even though she is happy for everyone else.

Brie and Nikki show up for Day 2 of WrestleMania Axxess, as does Bryan, to sign autographs. Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for September 19, 2018

Fenix beats Aerostar, then continues assaulting Aerostar with a ground and pound after the match. Ring announcer Melissa Santos pleads with Fenix to stop, saying this is not him and that he should leave the ring and get some help to become the old him again. Fenxi slides out of the ring aggressively towards Melissa, and El Dragon Azteca Jr. shows up, fearing Fenix will attack her. Instead, Fenix attacks El Dragon Azteca Jr. and hits him with the Black Fire Driver - the same near finishing move he used on Aerostar for this match - before leaving. Melissa calls for medical help, and the status of El Azteca Dragon Jr.'s Gift of the Gods title defense against Marty "The Moth" Martinez - which is up next - is up in the air.

After the commercial break, medical staff check on El Dragon Azteca Jr. Antonio Cueto shows up and says that this turn of events is most unfortunate, as El Dragon Azteca Jr. had made him a believer and he thought he would defend the Gift of the Gods title all the way to Ultima Lucha Cuatro; unfortunately, he is in no condition to wrestle and the Gift of the Gods title will be forfeited over to Marty "The Moth" Martinez. Ring announcer, who is not a big fan of Marty "The Moth" Martinez, especially after what he has done to her, is not happy about this news. El Dragon Azteca Jr. gets up and says he will fight upon hearing this, and Antonio Cueto, noting that he has the heart of a champion, announces that the match is back on.

Marty "The Moth" Martinez beats El Dragon Azteca Jr. to become the Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Champion!

The White Rabbit talks with Paul London, and tells him time is but a flat circle. Paul London says that Saltador and Mala Suerte failed the tribe and sacrificed them in a glorious display of undying loyalty to him. The White Rabbit simply yawns, unimpressed, and has an idea. He says that he and his caged friend, El Bunny, have been going stir-crazy in their underground lair, and that it is time for London to show them the way to the temple. London says yes, and The White Rabbit asks him to lead the way. The three of them teleport out of The White Rabbit's lair.

Pentagon Dark retains the Lucha Underground Championship against King Cuerno and Mil Muertes in a three-way match. After the match, Marty "The Moth" Martinez rushes into the ring and blindsides Pentagon Dark, then looks upon the Lucha Underground Championship and picks it up. Marty hits Pentagon Dark with a title belt shot to the forehead, then hits a double underhook DDT - the same move he hit El Dragon Azteca Jr. with to win the Gift of the Gods title - before curb stomping Pentagon Dark. Antonio Cueto then shows up and mentions that his son Dario Cueto insisted that in order to use the Gift of the Gods, you had to give a week's notice; however, Marty made a convincing argument to him last week about why that is "a stupid rule." Therefore, in Antonio Cueto's temple, the Gift of the Gods can be exchanged for a Lucha Underground title shot any time the holder wants, and asks Marty if he wants to do this right now. Marty says yes, and Antonio makes the title match official.
