Before the match, Gunther tells Tozawa that he picked him because of his TikTok dance with Maxxine Dupri and Otis from the start of the show. He does mention that they have things in common, yet Tozawa wastes his opportunity in WWE by goofing around for the fans. He says that Jey Uso made terrible choices and that it will cost them at WrestleMania, yet Tozawa has the chance to earn his respect. He then keeps shoving Tozawa until Tozawa finally kicks him in the face. Gunther soon blasts Tozawa with a big boot and knocks him down with authority, and Tozawa chops Gunther only to be chopped back and knocked down where he stands. Sami says that he does not know what he or Owens is capable of and that neither of them is in a good headspace, and that while he understands why their match is unsanctioned, WWE should be concerned about what will happen. He says that this match with Owens will be worse than any of the others that they have ever had, and warns Owens that it will be a bad time and that he hopes Owens is ready.

He tells Cody not to make him regret everything he did to help him win the WWE Championship, and asks if the WWE Championship has become a burden to him. He says they both know each other well and that their paths, but he has not forgotten what they went through at WrestleMania 40. Rollins says he is not here to judge Cody, and feels that he may be keeping him from making the same mistakes he made years ago. He says he has been full of hate lately and while it has pointed him in the right direction, he does not want to hate Cody. Sexxy Red welcomes everyone to tonight's show.

CM Punk shows up on the stage. Punk admits he is not in any condition to be here, much less in the ring, and while it hurts to smile, he had to see the fans. He says he is alive and a winner, but he does not feel that way. He wants to say it feels tremendous to have beaten Drew McIntyre, but he has a lot of questions and does not know what the future holds for him, as he knew he had "zero Hell In A Cell Matches left in [him]." Punk then thanks three groups of people, who have more in common than they would admit: his fans, his peers, and the people who don't like him at all. He says he did not know if he would pull this off, but he knew he could not do it without them, and he also turned the hate into cash and admits he does not know why his haters keep doubting him. Punk admits he does know when he will see the fans again before thanking them one more time. Suddenly, Seth "Freakin' Rollins shows up, and the two of them have a brief staredown before Rollins brushes up against him and heads to the ring. Rollins says he has to do the right thing, and he tells Punk to get well soon after everything that he had been through, for the sooner he gets back, the sooner he can kick his ass and retire him for good. Rollins looks at the state of Raw after Bad Blood, then proclaims that he is back to destroy "Big" Bronson Reed, yet Bronson is not here tonight. He then says he knows Bronson is watching, and tells him that two months, he ambushed him and tried to end his career to make a name for himself. Rollins then congratulates him for doing that after hitting six Tsunamis before telling him that if he wants to be famous, he will give him his fifteen minutes, and all Bronson has to do is name the time and place, and this time, he will be expecting him. Suddenly, "Main Event" Jey Uso arrives for the next match, and Rollins leaves.

"Main Event" Jey Uso retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods. After the match, Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston both help Woods up, and after Jey shows good sportsmanship to Kofi, a seething Woods gives Jey the cold shoulder, then argues with Kofi over shaking Jey's hand when Kofi rejoins him. After Woods and Kofi leave, Jey Uso is suddenly hit with a Spear from out of nowhere by Bron Breakker. Kofi Kingston runs back into the ring to fight Bron Breakker only to get Speared, while Xavier Woods refuses to join Kofi and ends up helping Kofi out of the ring. As the referee checks on Jey, Bron Breakker runs around the ring and hits Woods with a Spear before nailing Jey Uso with another one back in the ring.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, who says she should have known that Liv Morgan would have weaseled out and would continue to prove that she cannot beat her on her own, but gives Liv credit for bringing out Raquel Rodriguez. She says it would have been smarter for her to not get caught, as it only guaranteed another beating and delayed the inevitable.

We see the Viking runes again.

McIntyre then talks about his appearance in The Killer's Game starring Batista, then addresses Wade Barrett, saying he does not have many friends left and that Barrett is one of his oldest friends, and wants to know why he got in his way when it comes to CM Punk. He says he is not angry, only disappointed, and warns him that if he does it again, he will not disappointed; he will be angry, and he will do something about it. Wade Barrett takes off his headset and confronts McIntyre, then General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and says McIntyre has "lost the plot" by wanting to fight his friends while Barrett has been keeping his head above water. Pearce apologizes to Barrett and demands McIntyre come to the ring for information he has for him. After McIntyre calls Pearce "a corporate suit" that Punk kisses the ass of, Pearce says he has spoken to Punk and that he has told him he is not done with McIntyre McIntyre says he does not believe Pearce and thinks Pearce is playing games with him, and says that if Pearce is telling the truth, then he is signing Punk's death certificate. He says that American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile) is not a family, but blasphemy, and that The Wyatt Sicks (Bo Dallas, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross) have given Chad Gable chance and chance, yet Gable has refused to remove the scales from his eyes. He says that they must cut the head of the snake so that the blood can wash away the sins of the damned. Bo Dallas accepts Gable's challenge, and says that what is about to happen is more than a reckoning; it is a purge.

Drew McIntyre heads to the ring. McIntyre makes fun of CM Punk's promos, then says he is telling the truth and that the truth is that Punk is scared of him, which he has known since Royal Rumble after Punk kept attacking him from behind every chance he got. He says that the fans continue to chant Punk's name despite this, and accuses the fans of being enablers for CM Punk before stating that what Punk will be going through in their strap match will be on them. McIntyre says the fans has chosen nostalgia over what is going on right now, and as he states that Punk will regret challenging him to a strap match as he lashes him again and again, Punk shows up behind McIntyre and strikes McIntyre with a leather strap. McIntyre and Punk soon brawl, and when McIntyre gets the upper hand, he grabs the strap only to be slammed into the commentary table and struck with the leather strap again. Security shows up to break up the brawl, and McIntyre is able to flee through the crowd before Punk takes out a few members of security.

In Instagram footage from earlier today, Gunther says he is focused on Bash In Berlin, for as much as SummerSlam was the day that he saved professional wrestling, Bash In Berlin will be the day that Randy Orton will have met his match.

Randy Orton heads to the ring. Orton says that for the entirety of his career, he has listened to the voices in his head, but as of late, he has been listening to the voices of the fans, and he thanks them for the warm reception, saying it means the world to him even if it took fifteen years. He says he won a lot of titles in his career, but the won that he loves the most is the World Heavyweight Championship, as it is the first world title that he won and that he has history engrained in that built. He also talks about how he retired the original World Heavyweight title after unifying it with the WWE Championship, but when the title was re-introduced, he was at home recovering from spinal fusion history and did not know if he would compete ever again. Orton says that he wants to engrain his name in the World Heavyweight Championship again and that he has the opportunity on Saturday to create a new legacy. He says that he will be stepping into enemy territory in Berlin, Germany and that he will be facing a living legend in Gunther, whose head is shoved so far up his own ass that he has no idea what he will be facing in him. Orton says he grew up in the front of the WWE fans and that he signed his first contract when he was nineteen years old, and that the fans have watched him become humble and learn from his mistakes over and over again until he stepped out from the shadows and took them out one by one. He says that Gunther was an arrogant young prick at that age and that this may be the one thing they have in common, and while he may have been humbled, Gunther has never been put in his place, which will happen on Saturday. Orton says it only had to be about the World Heavyweight Championship, but Gunther made it personal by talking about his family and his personal demons. He says he has beaten those demons, which are more powerful than any opponent Gunther has ever known. He then says he will beat Gunther just like he beat his personal demons.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker congratulates "Main Event" Jey Uso and Pete Dunne for qualifying, then warns Jey Uso to keep his name out of his mouth as a member of Jey's family has never beaten a member of his family. He then warns the eventual tournament winner that the worst is yet to come.

We hear from Chad Gable and American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile), saying he does not hide behind a mask and has his family do his dirty work. He then says that the world will find out that Bo Dallas is an ordinary guy who has been messing with someone who is not only anything but extraordinary, but also "American Made."

Priest says The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, Liv Morgan) have given their explanation, and says they are indeed the bad guy. Priest says The Judgment Day want to play victim, but they will become victims at Bash In Berlin, while Rhea Ripley says that they will show no mercy.

WWE acknowledges the life and career of Sid Eudy, also known as "Sid Justice," "Sycho Sid," and "Sid Vicious."

Uncle Howdy beats Chad Gable after Ivy Nile distracts the referee only for Howdy to send Gable into the referee when he breaks out of the ankle lock. This leads to The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) showing up to attack Uncle Howdy, but Howdy laughs and the lights go out. The rest of The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan) show up to go on the attack, and they, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile all fight their way through the crowd while Gable and Uncle Howdy fight it out in the ring again. At this point, the referee has come to. Uncle Howdy then hits Gable with Sister Abigail for the win.

Riley admits he gave Ridge flak upon arrival, but he now has his first championship in WWE. Andre Chase thanks Ridge Holland on behalf of the university before everyone has a group hug. Nathan Frazer and Axiom then show up. Frazer congratulates Chase University and admits that they ran themselves into the ground as of late, but Ridge takes offense to the interruption and gives Chase University credit for revitalizing his career when he was at a low. He says that he has worked his ass off for six long years to finally become a champion and that he has now done it, then Axiom says they want their tag team title rematch. Riley and Duke step up, saying they will have to beat them to get their shot. Nathan Frazer accepts the challenge and says they will see them tonight, but Duke says they are always ready before he and Riley rip their athletic pants off in one fell swoop to reveal wrestling tights underneath. A referee also shows up.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom beat Chase University (Riley Osborne and Duke Hudson) to earn their NXT Tag Team Championship rematch at No Mercy.

General Manager Ava meets with Stevie Turner and Robert Stone to state that Karmen Petrovic is out of action tonight. Izzi Dame shows up saying she should have been in the match for the start, but Ava says someone else will replace Karmen Petrovic - Brinley Reece - as she will not reward bad behavior. Meanwhile, Kelani Jordan is seen in the background in the trainer's room, and it seems as if she is looking for something.

Backstage in the women's locker room, Brinley Reece announces that she is in the No Mercy Gauntlet Eliminator. Wren Sinclair shows up and says she will win the match for No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, Tavion Heights).

Wendy Choo beats Lola Vice. During the match, Kelani Jordan shows up and gets in the ring, but Lola inadvertently hits her with a spinning backfist. Wendy then hits Lola from behind with a body pillow to get the win. After the match, Kelani tells Wendy that if she wants to steal the NXT Women's North American Championship from her, then she can earn it at No Mercy. Afterwards, both Kelani and Wendy brawl, but Kelani gets the better of Wendy and takes her title out of Wendy's pillow.

Wes Lee says he will send Pete Dunne back to Raw even more bitter than before, and says that Joe Hendry is only here for the "NXT rub" and will go back to Thursday nights empty handed. Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Hendry, and Wes Lee can hear the interview. Hendry condemns Wes Lee for what he did to The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz), but Wes Lee says the pinnacle of his career will come nowhere close to the lowest part of his. We hear from Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne, who say that the women's locker room is full of people who are only there because of their social media following as well as other reasons unrelated to success on the independent scene. Jazmyn Nyx shows up and says that she quickly realized that Fallon and Jacy were the real influencers, and Jacy says that she and Fallon were on the indie scene together and accomplished things individually, and will accomplish more as a team. The three of them then call themselves "The Fatal Influence."

Jaida Parker beats Adriana Rizzo, Brinley Reece, Kendal Grey, Wren Sinclair and Sol Ruca in a No Mercy Gauntlet Eliminator to face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at No Mercy. Sarah Schreiber interviews Jaida Parker in the ring after the match. Jaida says she is a difference maker in the division, and while Roxanne Perez may be a great champion, she has next.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page, who is incensed that Joe Hendry thinks he deserves a shot at the NXT Championship and states that he is what is best from the brand. Pete Dunne shows up and says Ethan Page has only been here for a cup of coffee, then tells him that he knows how to keep a championship and that he will break his fingers before breaking his ego.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger get a surprise win on The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson). After the match, security shows up to celebrate with Hank and Tank before protecting them from The O.C.

Charlie Dempsey quotes Lou Thesz and Billy Robinson before stating that the legacy of the Heritage Cup has been restored. After the interruption by Wren Sinclair, he says that The D'Angelo Family's (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Adriana Rizzo, Luca Crusifino) reign of terror is over, and that they will make the Heritage Cup the most prestigious title in NXT. As Sinclair says that Charlie will defend the cup anywhere against anyone at anytime, Oba Femi shows up and congratulates No Quarter Catch Crew before stating that his title is the most prestigious and is held by the most dominant champion. He says that he has defended his title against many strong contenders, and will not hesitate to add the Heritage Cup Champion to that mix. Suddenly, The D'Angelo Family arrives, and when Charlie asks if they want a rematch, Tony D'Angelo says that he has his eyes on something else, and that he and his family do not forget and will handle their business. D'Angelo and Oba Femi have a staredown as the rest of the family fights No Quarter Catch Crew, and D'Angelo avoids being powerbombed to plant Oba Femi with a spinebuster.

Backstage, Ashante "Thee" Adonis is seen talking to some women, who then notice Dion Lennox and tell him that they are excited to see his match. Je'Von Evans is also backstage, and as Wren Sinclair asks Je'Von to watch the cup, Gallus shows up and says the cup is about "real wrestling," which Je'Von knows nothing about. Cedric Alexander shows up, but Joe Coffey takes this as Cedric showing up to fight Je'Von's battles. Je'Von says he does not need anybody to fight his battles, but Joe Coffey says they will see about that.

Ashante "Thee" Adonis beats Dion Lennox.

Backstage, Lexis King gets his throne polished when Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson pass by, talking about their match with Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley next week. Lexis King butts in, calling them the "Meta-Two," then Oro Mensah shows up after Lexis leaves and says things have not been the same since Noam Dar. Jakara says they need to get it together, as that is what Noam Dar would want.

"All Ego" Ethan Page guests on commentary for the next match.

Joe Hendry beats Pete Dunne and Wes Lee to face "All Ego" Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at No Mercy despite Ethan Page's blatant interference by pulling the referee out of the ring and keeping the second referee out, which allows Trick Williams to show up from out of nowhere and hit Dunne with the Trick Shot before getting the first referee back in the ring to count the pinfall attempt for Hendry. After the match, Ethan Page is livid, and Zachary Wentz comes out of the crowd to brawl with Wes Lee. Security and officials show up to keep both Wentz and Wes Lee apart as the show ends.
