Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 25, 2026

Kenny Omega beats Swerve Strickland to replace Swerve as #1 contender for the AEW World Championship. (Had Swerve won, he would have replaced Kenny Omega as an AEW Executive Vice President.)

We see a video package of Darby Allin before his no count-outs match with Rush later tonight.

Backstage, we hear from Will Ospreay, who says that he has an issue with anyone who hangs around Jon Moxley. He says that he and PAC have never shaken hands, and if he wants to stay loyal to Moxley, he can take this personally. He tells PAC that he will see him in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada then tells Moxley that he may have had his reasons to snap his neck in his home country, and for that alone, he will alter Moxley's life like he did his, and he wants him at Dynasty.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) beat Skyflight (Darius Martin, Dante Martin, "The Real Deal" Zayda Steel) in a trios match. After the match, Moxley addresses Will Ospreay, saying it is not nice to say mean things about people on television and that he is upset right now, and that whatever issue Ospreay has with him is not personal. He then says that if Ospreay wants a grudge match at Dynasty, he has it, and until then, he tells Ospreay not to let his mouth get him in trouble.

We hear from The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), who state that they went back home and came back stronger last week with "Jungle" Jack Perry and that they will take the AEW World Tag Team Championships for a record fourth time regardless of who stands in their way.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey beats Rocky "Azucar" Romero.

MJF heads to the ring. MJF brags about being "the man who hanged the Hangman," and says that Hangman will never be AEW World Champion again. He also claims that Hangman never put up much of a fight and says his match with Hangman was the easiest he ever had. He then makes it clear that he is still AEW World Champion, of which there is no higher honor and something only he his deserving of, and that there is nobody in AEW better than him. Suddenly, Kenny Omega shows up and heads to the ring, says that he has more nicknames than MJF and states that even at his zenith as a heel, he never considered himself a god, and if MJF wants to call himself "the Devil," then maybe he should call himself a god. He states that when he took his body to the limit, he did not listen to his body because of his respect and responsibility for the fans, and compared to who he once was, he will not fall for MJF's antics and that he is close to 100%. Omega says that this version is better than MJF and that MJF knows it, which he says scares MJF. He then offers to shake hands with MJF and make this official for Dynasty. MJF accepts the challenge, but rejects the handshake. MJF leaves the ring and heads to the back, then Omega bids adieu to the fans.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Christian says life is about making choices, and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) chose to turn their back on Copeland, jump them and leave them laying after their match at All Out, and to piledrive Beth Copeland and spike piledrived him. Christian leaves, then Copeland says that Christian is an asshole and that he knows of two bigger assholes in FTR. Copeland says FTR threw away their friendship and are about to throw away their history, and while he gets where they are come from, he is going to find them and ends their careers while taking the World Tag Team titles from them.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway show up on the stage. Stokely introduces FTR, then Wheeler says they made a choice to dump the dead weight and refuse to carry Copeland over the finish line of his career. He says that they are now AEW World Tag Team Championships for refusing to take a back seat to Copeland's shadow, and that they take a back seat to no one. Wheeler addresses FTR's history with Copeland and Copeland's mentorship, then says that Dax and Stokely are his family now and that he does not need Copeland or his wife, stating that Copeland's time has passed. After Wheeler proclaims that FTR are living legends now, Harwood says that Copeland is now "a nostalgia act" and that everybody including Copeland knows it. He says that what happened to Beth Copeland made Adam Copeland look deep inside herself, and implies that what happened to Beth is nothing compared to what will happened to Adam Copeland. Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong then show up for the next match as FTR hounds the front row fans. Stokely bumps into Orange Cassidy, and Orange Cassidy gets shoved back by Dax Harwood. Roderick Strong rushes to the ring before referee Bryce Remsburg breaks things up.

The Dogs ("100 Proof" Clark Connors and David Finlay) beat The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong).

Backstage, we hear from The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross). They agree that there is nothing more to be said, and that The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) suffered from greed, which cost them history. Kross says they will regret what they asked for, and Bayne states that their wrath will be countered with divine retribution.

Backstage, we hear from "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, who mentions his recent successful TNT title defense against Robbie Eagles and proclaims that he is on track towards being the greatest TNT Champion of all time. He also mentions that he is undefeated so far this year, which MJF and Kenny Omega cannot say, and states that The Don Callis Family should be fighting for the AEW World Championship instead of making deals with MJF, and that he should be the man to fight for it. He then addresses "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, who shows up, and says that he does not want anything to come between what they have, as he knows that Takeshita does not like Okada. He then reaffirms his commitment to "Protoshita."

"The Toxic Spider" Thekla retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Mina Shirakawa. During the match, Thekla pulls out a belt, but referee Mike Posey takes it away from her, allowing Thekla to pull out metal knuckles and knock Mina out mid-slam before hiding the evidence to pin, win and retain.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kenny Omega. Omega says that despite a no physicality clause for next week's contract signing, everyone is used to how MJF operates, then says that now is the time and that if a god needs to take the World title off a devil, he is the man to do it. "Speedball" Mike Bailey shows up and says that he admires Omega, and hopes Omega beats MJF for the World Championship so that he can face him for the title. Both men then shake hands.

Backstage, we hear from The Demand. Ricochet apologizes to the fans for losing his cool and shoving Toa Liona off after being screwed out of the National Championship by AEW at Revolution, and says that it should be him facing MJF for the World Championship. He says that Kenny Omega earned a World title shot by doing the bare minimum, especially when he beat him in their only match, and that he is tired of it.

Darby Allin beats Rush in a no count-outs match after dodging the horns and pinning Rush with a jackknife pin. After the match, The Don Callis Family shows up, and Mark Davis grabs Darby from behind and piledrives him on the outside before The Family brings him into the ring for a Lance Archer chokeslam. As this goes on, Andrade el Idolo is not exactly on board with what The Family is doing.
