Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 5, 2000

RAW

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews WWF chairman Vince McMahon. Vince says that had it not for Triple H's ego, there would not be three #1 contenders for the WWF Championship, and if people around here started listening to him, there would not be these kind of problems. Vince then has Gerald Brisco carry his bag.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley head to the ring to start tonight's show. Triple H tells the fans to shut up, then says that never before in the history of the WWF has the WWF Championship meant so much for so many or been so hotly contested, and that one cannot blame everybody for wanting it, as holding the WWF Championship means one has beaten the best there is, which is what it is all about, and being the undisputed best that there is. He says that there have never been so many people wanting to be the absolute best that there are three #1 contenders - Kane, The Undertaker and The Rock - to the championship, all of whom have the dream to stand in the ring and lay claim to beating him to become the champion. He says that while the competition is fierce, he thrives in it, and the hotter it gets, the more he loves it, as competition turns him on. Triple H then says that "big, huge inflated egos" turn him off, and while he has heard that he has a big ego, he says he should have the biggest ego on the planet due to how good he is, but he does not, as the claim to the biggest ego on the planet is reserved for just one man: WWF chairman Vince McMahon. Triple H says that Vince's ego is so big that it has become a problem, and that him and Stephanie entertaining taking over the company three or four months ago was not such a bad idea after all. Vince McMahon shows up, then Triple H says "Hello, Dad," only for Vince to take the microphone. Vince says he believes in the law of the jungle and that he believes that the bigger, stronger and smarter will eat the weaker and less fortunate one day, and that it is not Triple H's time, for while Triple H is "pretty damn good," the best thing he has ever done for his career is enter the World Wrestling Federation under his tutelage and guidance and marry his daughter Stephanie. He tells Triple H not to get ahead of himself, for regardless of whether his time comes, he made him and can break him. Triple H takes the microphone back and tells Vince that while he may have made the monster, the monster can take over any time he wants, and it was only a short time ago - last December at Armageddon - when he was kicking his ass all over the place. Triple H then shoves Vince McMahon, who takes his suit jacket off before Triple H takes his jacket off. As Vince and Triple H are about to square off, Shane McMahon shows up and says that both of their egos are out of control and that they need to relax. He says that both men's egos are so big that there is more than one #1 contender while Triple H wants to make his own matches and Vince wants to take Triple H in a fistfight. Shane then says Vince is not the only one with great ideas and that he should be running the company, which Vince and Triple H take offense to, and Shane responds by saying he is a giant killer and will kill their giant egos. Shane gets clotheslined by Vince and Triple H, and both of them get slapped by Stephanie in turn. The Rock then shows up and says that instead of a family feud, the owner of a multi-million dollar company or even the WWF Champion, he sees three of the biggest steaming, stinking, smoldering pieces of monkey crap being slapped around by "a walking two dollar slut." The Rock then says he realizes there are two other #1 contenders for the WWF Championship, but he is also a #1 contender, too, and he wants his title shot tonight. He says that he has two options: sit in the back and wait until Triple H is ready to face him, or get in the middle of the ring and whip Triple H's ass all over Rochester, New York. Kane shows up and tells The Rock that he has it all wrong, for he is the #1 contender and he wants his title shot tonight. The Undertaker then shows up and says that in all of his years in WWF, he has never seen so many assholes gathered in one place, and that with allies like the ones he has, Triple H does not need enemies. He says that while everyone else has issues, he does not give a damn, and he wants a title shot even if that means everyone faces Triple H at the same time. Vince proposes that Kane, The Rock and The Undertaker have a shot at Triple H and the WWF Championship in a Triple Threat Match to decide an undisputed #1 contender for the title, with the winner facing Triple H for the WWF Championship tonight.

Val Venis and T&A (Test and Albert) beats Too Cool (Grandmasta Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty, Rikishi). During the match, referee Teddy Long is distracted on the outside. Trish Stratus gets on the apron with one of her boots, but Grandmaster Sexay catches her. When Test charges at Grandmasta Sexay, Sexay hits him with a back elbow and then hits him with the boot. As the referee is still distracted, Val Venis hits Grandmasta Sexay with one of the tag team title belts. After the match, both teams brawl, and Too Cool comes out on top with Val Venis almost getting the Stinkface when Trish Stratus confronts him. Trish slaps Rikishi after Venis rolls out of the ring, and she ends up getting the Stinkface instead. Too Cool then celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, Vince McMahon praises Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley for making everything look believable, and Triple H apologizes to Vince. Vince says that if Triple H is sorry, then he is sorry. Shane McMahon then says "families gotta hug," then everyone hugs. Crash Holly then tries to run into the proceedings with a chair, but Gerald Brisco slams the nearby door on him without so much as looking back.

Chris Benoit beats Road Dogg with a German suplex bridge pin to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament after The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) rush in and distract Road Dogg. After the match, Bubba Ray grabs Tori from behind as Tori checks on Road Dogg, and D-Von takes out Road Dogg before setting up a table on the outside. Bubba Ray is about to powerbomb Tori through the table when X-Pac hits him with a blow, and X-Pac and Tori flee with Road Dogg.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson when Crash Holly sneaks up from behind the curtain and attacks Patterson with a plastic soda bottle carrier.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly interviews Kane. Kane says that in tonight's Triple Threat Match, there are no allies, and when it comes to the WWF Championship, he does not have a brother in The Undertaker.

Crash Holly heads to the ring. He calls Gerald Brisco and tells him to get to the ring and wrestle him after saying he promised his mother he would not get upset. Pat Patterson shows up and says that if he wants the WWF Hardcore Champion, he will give him to him. Patterson then introduces Brisco, who heads to the ring for an impromptu match but runs away from Crash when Crash runs after him.

Gerald Brisco retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against Crash Holly despite Pat Patterson running in to bring a pair of poop-stained underwater into the ring only for Crash to use it as a weapon against Brisco. Brisco gets the pinfall after kicking a stop sign into Crash's face from the corner while the underwear is still around his head, and Pat Patterson gets on top of Gerald Brisco to ensure Brisco retains the title.

Before the next match, Christian says that Rochester, New York is known for three things: the best chili dog in New York three years in a row, the home of a sports team that Christian is unable to identify, and being the home of Kodak. Michael then interviews Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and mentions that she has yet to defend the WWF Women's Championship. Stephanie asks Michael Cole who he is to say who she defends the title again and when, as she has no number one contender, unlike Triple H. This leads Ivory and Jacqueline to show up and confront her over a title shot, and Stephanie announces that on SmackDown, there will be a women's battle royal and that she will successfully defend the championship against whoever wins it because she is "that damn good."

Triple H retains the WWF Championship against The Rock. "Road Dogg" Jesse James then confronts Hebner on the apron, and Triple H whips The Rock into Hebner before The Rock hits Triple H with a DDT. The Faction soon gets into the ring and attacks The Rock before Shane McMahon hands Triple H a chair, then The Undertaker and Kane show up and lay out The Faction. He then says Justin called him on the phone two days ago and quoted one of his heroes: "There's a warning sign on the road ahead / there's a lot of people saying we'd be better off dead / I don't feel like Satan, but I am to them / So I try to forget it any way I can." He then realized that Justin could never be him, because being called Satan bothers Justin while he enjoys it. Suddenly, Justin Credible and Dawn Marie show up, and Raven says "Get in the ring, bitch." When Dawn Marie tries to get in the ring, Raven then says "Not you...the bitch with the belt." This starts a brawl between Raven and Justin inside the ring, and after Raven sends Justin out of the ring, Dawn Marie gets in only for Raven to grab her. Graziano is a glutton for punishment, as every time Mikey Whipwreck is within striking distance, there is a four-alarm fire, as Whipwreck has burned his face three times. He also says there are some sins that he refuses to grant absolution to, and one of them is stupidity, and says that Big Sal proved he is stupid for putting his hands on him. The Sinister Minsiter says Big Sal will learn the phrase "spontaneous human combustion" if he does it again, leading Whipwreck to say there is no such as spontaneous human combustion. He says that in a few weeks, the network will give WWF owner and chairman Vince McMahon $100 million to replace ECW, and says that since ECW is not publicly funded like WWF or WCW, ECW survives and even thrives off the support of the fans, whom he thanks again. He then tells TNN to spend the $100 million they get from Vince McMahon on attorneys, for the war has just begun.

Nash tells Russo, Bischoff and The New Blood that the reason The millionaire's Club is full of legends is because they have seen it all, they have heard it all, and most importantly, they have dealt with it all before, and they are still here because they are legend. He then proceeds to show how hard it is to kill a legend by bringing out "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Flair tells Russo that the current situation must have him thinking overtime, and says that what has transpired two weeks ago will not stop him. He tells David Flair to look around, as he is here and he has nobody behind him, and at The Great American Bash, David's wrestling career will come to a quiet end. He says that Russo tried to bury him, but it did not work, and when he dies, "they will bury [him] quick." He then tells Russo that someway, somehow, he will find him and drag his "skinny little New York ass" to the ring tonight and stomp it dry. Nash then tells Flair that he has a present for him. He then announces that as per Vince Russo, Kevin Nash will face Rick Steiner and Tank Abbott in a two-on-one handicap match, and if Scott Steiner gets within five feet of the ring, Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash will be cleaning Russo's toilets next week. Scott Steiner tells Jarrett to tell Russo that talking your way out of problems is "way overrated," and that Jarrett and Russo can come down to the ring right now, bend over and kiss his ass. Jarrett says he is the man with all the stroke here, then tells Flair that he will face him in the ring for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tonight and take the belt back from him. Flair tells Jarrett that he doesn't have to wrestle anybody, and that he is off tonight. Back in the arena, Candido says there are about ten to fifteen girls including Miss Hancock who don't like or care about or know a thing about the business, and the one that did tried to make the best out a bad situation last week by making a deal with Miss Hancock. He tells Miss Hancock not to stick her nose in his spotlight next time, or else he will not be so nice. Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 29, 2000

RAW

The Undertaker shows up to start tonight's show. Before he can say anything, however, The McMahon-Helmsley Regime also shows up. Triple H says he would like to come out and be the first guy to express to The Undertaker how great it is to have "the one true American Badass" back in the World Wrestling Federation, nobody is happier than he is, as The Undertaker has been back for only a short time and did him a huge favor when he helped him retain the WWF Championship against The Rock, and while he was going to kick The Rock's ass, The Undertaker saved him the effort of having to do the job himself. He says that being the kind of man that he is, it kept him awake at night not being able to thank him for what he did, then decides to blow his own horn for him by publicly thanking The Undertaker for what he did for him and the fans. The Undertaker tells Triple H to thank him for not kicking The McMahon-Helmlsley Regime's asses, that he does nothing for anybody except himself, that then says that when gets a chance to "slap a knot" on anybody in the Regime, he will take it, and that the WWF Championship belongs to him. Triple H tells him things have changed since he left, and if The Undertaker runs his mouth in the WWF, the Regime will close it. He then tells The Undertaker that the only way he will get close to the WWF Championship is when he rams it down his throat. As The McMahon-Helmsley Regime surrounds the ring, The Rock shows up. WWF Chairman Vince McMahon says this is a real simple picture to see, which he calls "the buddy system" with The Undertaker coming to the rescue of The Rock last week followed by The Rock coming to the rescue of The Undertaker before the Regime "kicked his ass." Vince says it is obvious to him that this is a deal that The Rock scratches The Undertaker's back in return for The Undertaker scratching The Rock's back. The Rock says that what is between him and The Undertaker is more along the lines of "[WWF co-owner] Shane [McMahon] scratching his ass, Triple H kissing Vince's ass and [Vince] sniffing a monkey's ass," and when he gets a chance to get his hands on anybody in the Regime, it is a good day, and it will be an even better day when "he makes change out of that two-dollar walking slut Stephanie [McMahon-Helmsley]." The Rock says that one way or the other, he will do what it takes to become WWF Champion. Vince says he has two individuals with common enemies and common goals, and tonight, instead of Triple H defending the WWF Championship, the fans will see The Undertaker one-on-one with The Rock.

D'Lo Brown, Perry Saturn, and Terri beat The Godfather, Dean Malenko and The Kat.

Backstage, Edge and Christian has Kevin Kelly take pictures of them when Joe C - of Kid Rock's entourage - shows up and takes a photo with them. When Christian calls Joe C "Mini-Me," Joe C tries to correct them, but Edge and Christian refuse to listen.

Backstage, Edge and Christian try to show Kurt Angle the picture they took with Joe C, but Kurt Angle has the European Championship on his mind.

Before the next match, Kurt Angle says Canada is lacking two things: Olympic heroes - of which Ben Johnson does not count, leading him to strive to become "North America's Olympic Hero" - and Memorial Day, which people in America celebrate with barbecues. He says that Canadians cannot have barbecues because they would be attacked by a moose, a caribou or a Grizzly bear. He then says that the Grizzles don't beat anybody in Vancouver, Canada, much less anyone else, and tonight, he will not only be "the North American hero," but he will represent the great countries of Europe as well, leading him to going global.

Eddie Guerrero retains the WWF European Championship against Kurt Angle. During the match, the referee is inadvertently wiped out as he is dealing with Chyna, who want to get back at Angle for hitting her with a baseball slide from inside the ring, and this allows Chyna to hit Angle with a low blow as he goes for a superplex. Eddie beats Angle with a hurricanrana from the top rope and retains, despite Angle's foot being underneath the bottom rope.

Backstage, Joe C is approached by Edge and Christian, who want to pay homage to him with a five-second pose, then ask whether they should call him a midget, a dwarf, a gnome or an Ewok. Joe C tells them to go have their match in the ring and then "go fuck [themselves]."

Backstage, "Road Dogg" Jesse James notices somebody is locked behind a room. The room is dark, and when Road Doog opens the door, he is grabbed, dragged in and beaten up before tossed out of the room.

Before the next match, Edge and Christian say that while British Columbia is "not the brightest province in the country," they will spell it out by telling them that Joe C is "an overrated midget rapper." They then unveil a five-second pose that honors "overrated midget rappers worldwide" called "Kickin' It Joe C Style." They put bucket hats on their heads, then kneel with their knees on shoes while crossing their arms.

Too Cool (Grandmasta Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty) beat Edge and Christian to become the WWF Tag Team Champions! During the match, Rikishi Phatu and Joe C - the latter carrying a hockey stick - show up, and Joe C hits Christian in the groin with the hockey stick. Grandmasta Sexay then hits Christian with one of the tag team titles introduced into the match by Edge and gets rid of both foreign objects to get the pinfall and win the titles. After the match, Too Cool, Rikishi and Joe C celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, WWF Chairman and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley agree that it was a great surprise to pit The Undertaker and The Rock against each other in a match tonight, and Vince says there will be "another real big surprise" courtesy of him. Suddenly, the lights go out, and when the lights come back on, everything is strewn about and Vince is attacked.

Before the next match, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon says Rikishi Phatu has seen by now why he is "an ubelievable thriller," and does not blame him for being scared in the back as he asks who would face a giant killer. He brags about beating The Big Show and The Undertaker as of late, then says his journey as "The King of Sting" begins and he will not be satisfied until he is King of the Ring.

Rikishi beats Shane McMahon by disqualification to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament. During the match, Triple H shows up and distracts Rikishi, allowing Shane to hit a low blow. This does not last long, and Rikishi fends off not only Shane, but Triple H. As Rikishi goes for a Stinkface on Triple H, Shane hits Rikishi in the head with a steel chair, then he and Triple H team up to hit Rikishi with a Pedigree. Shane then counts his own three-count, despite the match being already stopped, and Rikishi wins by disqualification.

Backstage, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley says that The McMahon-Helmsley Regime is nothing but fair and that they gave two people - who she is now talking to - an opportunity last night to take out Chris Jericho only to fail after The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) ran in unexpectedly. Those people in particular are T&A (Test and Albert), accompanied by Trish Stratus and Val Venis, Tonight, she gives them an opportunity to redeem themselves. She says that Val Venis - whom Trish Stratus has had her eyes on for some time - would have no problems ripping apart that "beach blonde bum" Chris Jericho, and says that T&A and Venis will face The Hardy Boyz and Chris Jericho. She then tells them that this is their last opportunity to redeem themselves, then leaves the room. After Stephanie closes the door behind her, Test calls Stephanie a bitch.

WAR ZONE

Before the next match, Chris Jericho says Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley seems to have devoted a lot of time and energy for a little while, and asks if Stephanie has a crush on her. She then says that if Stephanie were to comb out that rat's nest of a hairstyle she has, got a couple bottle of Clearasil and stopped being a filthy, dirty, disgusting, brutal, skanky bottom-feeding trash bag ho, then she could have a shot with him.

Val Venis and T&A (Test and Albert) beat Chris Jericho and The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after Albert yanks Jeff Hardy off the top rope so that Trish Status can hit Jeff with one of her boots.

Before the next match, Hardcore Holly tells Chris Benoit that everything could have been settled if he gave him a title shot and did it the easy way, but Benoit had to do it the hard way and give it to everyone else, including Jericho multiple times. He says that Benoit did not do it because he is scared of him, and while he admits there is no shame in being scared of him, he says that Benoit is "a typical Canadian" and a coward and that it will be a pleasure to kick his ass in "this worthless country of [his]" and give him what he deserves while he finally get what belongs to him: the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Benoit shows up and tells Holly that interfering in his matches, hitting him with a steel chair and insulting him and his country will give him Intercontinental gold, he is mistaken, and if he wants his attention, he's got it. He then says that now that Holly has gotten his big break, he will soon be able to tell everyone how he made his biggest mistake.

Hardcore Holly beats Chris Benoit by disqualification after Chris Jericho shows up, takes a steel chair that Hardcore Holly is introducing into the match out of his hands and proceeds to hit Holly in the head with it. Chris Benoit retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Benoit and Jericho are about to go at it, but Jericho ducks a steel chair shot from Holly and Benoit takes the chair from Holly and hits him with it before chasing him to the back. Jericho then takes the steel chair and chases Benoit to the back along with it.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly interviews The Undertaker, who says that he is no expert, but that it looks like The McMahon-Helmsley Regime has pissed somebody else. He has no beef with The Rock and admits he "kinda [digs] his stuff," but they both want the WWF Championship and "a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do."

Backstage, The McMahon-Helmsley Regime try to figure out who has been attacking them. WWF Chairman Vince McMahon says that Pat Patterson should be getting him coffee, then proposes putting the ice on the cake tonight after after everyone agrees that The Rock and The Undertaker being in a match against each other tonight is a good idea.

Vince accuses The Rock first, then accuses The Undertaker. Both men deny it, and Vince thinks that one is lying and the other one is swearing to it, and because of this, Vince declares that their match will be a Lumberjack Match with members of The McMahon-Helmsley Regime as the lumberjacks alongside with T&A (Test, Albert, Trish Status), The Big Boss Man and Bull Buchanan. Instead of fighting each other, however, The Rock and The Undertaker fight the lumberjacks, but the lumberjacks get the upper hand. All of a sudden, Kane shows up for the first time in some time and fights them all off. Triple H tries to hit Kane with the WWF Championship, but Kane ducks and choke slams Triple H before holding up the WWF Championship - with The Undertaker and The Rock both looking at him - to end the show.

Suddenly, Eric Bischoff and Kimberly show up, and Bischoff says he is here to address Booker T and The Misfits In Action. Before that can happen, he wants to start tonight off with a clean slate, for it was never about Booker T and The Misfits, and they made a mistake. He states that all they have to do is join The New Blood and put everything behind them. Booker T and The Misfits come to a group consensus, and tells Bischoff to kiss their collective ass. Bischoff tells Booker T and The Misfits that they just signed their death warrants.

Nash shoves Russo away, then gets in the ring and lays Jarrett out before taking the WCW World Heavyweight Championship with him.

Backstage, Vince Russo tells Kevin Nash that he has 45 minutes to give the WCW World Heavyweight Championship back to Jeff Jarrett or else they will take it back from him in a no-holds-barred match between Nash and Jarrett later tonight.

Scott Steiner shows up. He says it is always great to come back to the neighborhood, because Michigan is where he began to take his freaks to ecstasy and proved that he was the superman between the sheets at The University of Michigan. He then says that all his fans know that when the dark moon rises, the flip side of "the Big Bad Booty Daddy" comes out, and it is all about love, taste and touch. He then says it is no secret that he was born with a wild hair up his ass, and that his friends have told him that he lacks control and discipline and that he will end up in jail. He then says he has been through the cell and been through hell, but he has always survived, and from now on, wherever he goes, the cell goes, and hell goes with him. As he is about to put Russo in a Jackknife Power Bomb, blood falls from the top of the arena (barely hitting him in the process), allowing Jarrett to hit Nash with a guitar and retain. After the match, Eric Bischoff says Russo and Jarrett are just too much, then says that Hulk Hogan and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be gone for good on June 11th. He then tells Nash that if he thought this was an ass whipping, he hasn't seen anything yet. Russo then says "Bite us, baby!" Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 22, 2000

RAW

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Vince says that judgment day is the day that the world is supposed to come to an end and everyone is judged by the way they live their lives, and that the world ended for several Superstars last night. He then says it is clear that the McMahon-Helmsley regime is living correctly, as they were rewarded greatly and they rewarded themselves with one of the greatest parties of all time. He apologizes for anybody looking less than their best, including himself, and says that the rest of the regime will be here tonight. He says that X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James "set the tables" for The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) and beat them at their very own game, his own son Shane McMahon single-handedly defeated Big Show, and Triple H single-handedly proved why he is "The Game" when he defeated The Rock for the WWF Championship, even though The Rock employed the services of The Undertaker. He then says it has been nice without The Undertaker, who walked out on his contract some time ago, and states that if The Undertaker shows up tonight, he will have marshals waiting to arrest him since he is no longer under contract. As far as The Rock is concerned, he is not so sure that The Rock will show up tonight and if he is big enough of a man to swallow his pride and appear tonight, but in case he does, The Rock will face him in the ring tonight...almost. Instead, The Rock will be facing Road Dogg, X-Pac, Shane McMahon and Triple H at the same time in one match. He then says at Judgment Day, the McMahon-Helmsley took the WWF Championship from The Rock, and tonight, they will simply take what is left.

Backstage, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon is tailed from behind by The Rock, who proceeds to attack him. Vince begs The Rock off, but to no avail, and he throws him into a limousine. Vince yells at The Rock for doing this, and The Rock hits Vince with a trash can lid before the limo drives off.

The Rock waits in the parking lot for the rest of the McMahon-Helmsley regime.

Before the next match, Trish Stratus says it has come to her attention that women love The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy), their rainbow hair and their high-flying moves, then says that she does not and that "those boys" will face her men. She then says they will see how hard they really are when she is done with them.

T&A (Test and Albert) beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after Trish Stratus distracts the referee so that Test can hit Jeff Hardy with a top rope elbow drop and place Albert on top of Jeff Hardy.

Suddenly, X-Pac and Road Dogg are attacked from behind with a pipe by The Rock, who throws them into a truck and traps them inside.

Before the next match, Kurt Angle says he has only one thing to say tonight: the New York Knicks are going down in the NBA Finals after they defeat the Indiana Pacers. Christian says Indiana is known for two things: a rich, storied basketball history and choking, whether it is Bobby Knight choking his players or the Pacers choking in the playoffs. Edge says they have decided to embrace Indiana tradition with a five-second pose called "The Big Choke", where Edge pretends to be Bobby Knight and Angle and Christian pretend to be choked Indiana University players.

He says that last night was a wonderful night and that he has set up a pictorial of what happened between him and Big Show last night to put up on the TitanTron. Shane brags about his victory and how the Big Show took a ride in the "WAHHHHmbulance," all while the crowd chants "Shane's a pussy!" Shane asks the fans to refer to him as "Shane The Giant Killer," and says that if Big Show were to miraculously walk into the ring against him again, history would repeat himself and he would become "The King of Sting." As Shane is about to leave, The Rock shows up and attacks Shane. The Rock and Shane brawl their way through the crowd and into the backstage area.

In footage from last night, Michael Cole interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Shawn says he has called the match down the middle and did the best job that he could. He says that all he saw after he was knocked out was The Undertaker attacking Triple H, and says he is sick and tired of people coming down on him every time he is asked to do a job, as he can't seem to make everybody happy, and if anybody does not like it, that is too bad.

As Essa Rios walks out with The Godfather and his hos to the ring, Lita chews him out.

Before the next match, The Godfather says that while Dean Malenko is known as the man of a thousand holds, his hos know a thousand positions. He offers Malenko the choice between a wrestling match and any of his hos. Malenko asks if he can have two, then walks off with two of the hos. Saturn then attacks Essa Rios from behind.

He says that Triple H brought everything he could last night at Judgment Day, but regardless of what he brought, it did not matter, for after all they have been through, Triple H brought it all and he brought it back. He says they made history, and while Triple H walked out with the WWF Championship, he never beat him. The Rock tells Triple H to enjoy the WWF Championship, for in due time, he will be WWF Champion again. He then talks about The Undertaker's return at Judgment Day, and while The Undertaker did the right thing, he did it at the wrong time: on The Rock's time. As for tonight, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon found out the hard way that he cannot simply finish him off, X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James are still trapped in a truck and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon has simply left the building. As for Triple H, he could have ambushed him backstage, but he decided to wait until now to call him out so he can kick his ass all over Indianapolis, Indiana. Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley show up, and Triple H tells The Rock that they went through hell yesterday, and admits they gave all they had and that they made history when they did what nobody else could do: go for 60 minutes and set the world on fire. He then says yesterday was The Rock's judgment day, and that The Rock was punished while he was rewarded, and that he felt it all slide out of The Rock as those 60 minutes ended. He says The Rock cannot hang with him, as he is the best there is, and while The Rock can say he never beat him, there are two men here tonight staring each other in the eye and one of them is a loser while the other is a winner. Triple H says that after all was said and done and the smoke cleared, he was the undisputed WWF Champion. The Rock simply tells Triple H "Just bring it." Triple H then takes off his jacket and heads to the ring, and after he cautiously enters the ring, both he and The Rock brawl. X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James run into the ring, as does Shane McMahon, but The Rock fends them all off. Gerald Brisco helps WWF Chairman Vince McMahon into the ring, but The Rock hits him with a Rock Bottom. Afterwards, the numbers game catches up to The Rock. As the McMahon-Helmsley regime places steel steps into the ring, The Undertaker shows up. The Rock counters with a back drop before clotheslining Triple H out of the ring, and both men fight on the announce table before The Rock puts Triple H through it with a Rock Bottom to end the show.

We see footage from earlier tonight where Eddie Guerrero and Chyna show up at the arena and are confronted by Dean Malenko, who tells Chyna to keep her nose out of tonight's match, as it is between him, Eddie and Perry Saturn. During the match, The McMahon-Helmsley Regime shows up with in the last three-and-a-half minutes of the match, and when Shane McMahon pulls HBK out of the ring, HBK punches him and WWF Chairman Vince McMahon. As The McMahon-Helmsley Regime attacks The Rock, the three little girls from the vignette from earlier appear on the TitanTron before saying "He's here." The Undertaker - now in a leather trenchcoat, sunglasses and a bandanna - shows up for the first time in months and fights them all off, with Triple H falling victim to a choke slam and Tombstone Piledriver just as time runs out. As per HBK, it is announced that as a result of a disqualification due to outside interference, Triple H wins the last fall and the WWF Championship.
