Swerve says he will come out on top on Sunday. Escobar tells Swerve he is a parasite he cannot get rid of, as Swerve continues to linger no matter what he does to him. Escobar promises their match Sunday will be fair, but Swerve is not convinced. Swerve mentions tricks that Escobar has used in the past, but Escobar says he is making excuses and that Swerve cannot deliver. Swerve says he has adapted to everything in the business and in life, and he is ready for what he tries to throw at him on Sunday. He says that while he proves he is ready for the world on Saturday, he will prove that Escobar is a fraud. Escobar says the difference between Swerve and himself is that Swerve has made it about himself and for that, he will fail. Meanwhile, he has built up the Cruiserweight division in his image with respect to the lucha culture, something he says Swerve does not respect, and says that he will bury Swerve with "a century of tradition" that Swerve calls "a bag of tricks."

We see another green-tinted vignette, this time of a person on a motorcycle followed by the numbers "10.04.20."

He says that since the prophecy ended, nobody takes them as seriously as they once did, but they are still the same Undisputed Era now as they were when they started. He then says that if Austin Theory wants to run his mouth about Kyle O'Reilly, then he came to the ring and say the same stuff about him to his face. Finn Balor says he does not consider O'Reilly a secret, as O'Reilly has proven himself in NXT and all over the world. O'Reilly says he will show up by himself. O'Reilly then goes on to say that The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) have "washed each others' hands" and have seen success as a group, and that Sunday is about him and his moment. He goes on to admit that he is nothing like Adam Cole, and when Finn Balor says he will smack the freckles off his face, O'Reilly says this is the Balor he wanted to see. Finn Balor says there will be no room for jokes, and that Sunday could be life-altering for O'Reilly. O'Reilly tells Finn Balor that he is not the underdog, and that Finn Balor has not stepped in the ring with him or anyone like him. He then goes on to say that Finn Balor will hear the sound of his knees exploding when he shocks the world once again. Finn Balor tells O'Reilly that he has everything it takes to be NXT Champion, and that he would be if the title were not around his waist.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae beat Damian Priest and Io Shirai after Candice hits Priest with a low blow behind the referee's back while the referee is preoccupied with Shirai. We also hear from "The Last Real Man" Silas Young, who talks about growing up with five older brothers in a very athletic household and how he faced some of the greats in early ROH history to realize that ROH was a place for him to be. King also says that he will get through the tournament his way, as the Ingobernables do not follow the rules, and that while Woods may be good, he's no Kenny King.

In Block B, Josh "The Goods" Woods beats Kenny King in 15:00 via judges' decision to advance in the tournament. Kenny King is furious after the match.

He tells Halston Boddy and Heather Monroe that he runs the show, even from afar, and then introduces the main event, which is - ironically for him - a women's match with Heather Monroe in it.

Before the next match, Halston Boddy says he has been thrown in better dumpsters by classier people, then announces that Match 5 of the best-of-seven series is a Taped Fist Match.

Heather Monroe vs. Lacey Ryan in a Taped Fist Match in Match 5 of the best-of-seven series ends with Nikko Marquez showing up, causing a commotion and stopping the match. Styles tells Hardy to savor this moment, as this is the last time he will hold the title. After Styles accuses Jeff of cheating once again, Styles then says that Zayn took six months off to grow a neckbeard before saying he beat him last week. Zayn says this is happening because Styles took part in a tournament to crown a "fradulent" champion. He also says that Jeff should have called him on the phone, denounced the championship and called him the true champion, but Jeff tells Sami to shut up and be grateful, as he has a chance to make the title legitimate. Jeff then asks for the hook to be brought down so that both Intercontinental Championship belts can be placed on it, then the belts are raised to the ceiling. Sami then pushes a ladder into both Jeff and Styles as they argue and goes on the attack. The Fiend is then seen on the TitanTron saying "Let me in," and Alexa Bliss has a smile of malicious glee as she heads to the back while Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman head to the ring. Alexa looks back as Roman holds up the Universal Championship, then leaves.

After the break, Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns are in the ring. Jey Uso shows up immediately after Heyman starts speaking, and Roman tells Jey that while he would give the Universal Championship if he could, Jey would not know what to do with it. He says that Jey does not understand the accountability and responsibility of being a world champion and the weight and the pressure from being the face of WWE, as he has always depended on his brother. He says that while Jey is a tag team champion and has made the family proud, the family depends on him being "the tribal chief," which Jey will never be. Jey then asks Roman "What if you're wrong?" When asked about FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Matt asks for Schiavone's phone and smashes the screen of the phone against the wall, then tosses a few hundred dollars to Schiavone when he can't put it in his suit pocket.

He says that his attacked may have been wearing a mask and that they may have used something like a pipe or a bat to hit him. He then mentions Chris Jericho and Jake Hager strolling in with Jericho holding a bat, and calls Jericho his prime suspect. He then says that Private Party tore the house down against Jericho and Hager and came close to beating them only because they used that same bat as a weapon. He then mentions Jericho putting Isiah Kassidy in the Walls of Jericho to add insult to injury, and says that regardless of what Jericho wants to be called, he will always be known as an asshole. Jericho shows up with Hager, Santana and Ortiz, then mentions what Matt did to Sammy Guevara, saying that he has no idea when Guevara will never show back up in AEW again only to reveal he lied and brings out Guevara. Jericho says the idea of him hitting Matt from behind is ridiculous, and says that if he wanted to take his leg out with a bat, he would do it in front of him so Matt would see the happiness in his eyes as he did. Jericho says he did not attack with the bat last week, but he will do it right now. Matt Hardy says he will fight the entire Inner Circle, but Marq Quen stops Matt, saying they need him and to take as much time as he needs to get better and get cleared, because he is cleared. Quen tells Jericho he laid him out last week after ambushing Kassidy, who then takes the microphone and says that while he appreicates Matt and Quen sticking up for him, this is on him. He says that Jericho may have beaten him last week, he almost beat him twice. Tully then announces that next week, SoCal Uncensored ("The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) will get that brush with greatness, and if the match reaches the twenty-minute time limit, FTR will get a notch in the win column. As Harwood says that Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) had their shot and that they are just "glorified backyard wrestlers," Best Friends show up. Chuck Taylor says their match last week was a war, and Trent says that while he and Chuck are banged up, they might as well have their twenty-minute challenge now. Harwood brings out a referee, and this starts a match...almost. Wheeler then says that they cannot do this, as Best Friends are not at 100% and they are fighting champions, and gives Best Friends a few weeks to heal up. Chuck Taylor says that Proud 'n Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) did not run from a fight like "a couple of weenies" unlike FTR, and says that if FTR do not want to fight, they will show how a hug is done before he and Trent do the trademark Best Friends hug.

Hikaru Shida and Thunder Rosa beat Ivelisse and Diamante.

Backstage, Dasha interviews Chris Jericho, who says he has respect for Isiah Kassidy for having the balls to take matters into his own hands, and while Kassidy will be a big star, it won't be next week, as he is facing the biggest star in him and the only shot that Kassidy will feel is from his fists. Suddenly, MJF shows up and says that the idea of Kassidy disrespecting Jericho is deplorable. Jericho says that means a lot to him coming from MJF, and MJF says that Jericho saying this means an awful lot to him. Both men tell each other that they are pretty great repeatedly before simultaneously asking each other why they called each other "losers." Rhino sounds and looks like he is reading from a cue card as he hypes up the #Heath4IMPACT hashtag, then we see a few celebrities on Cameo tell Impact Wrestling to hire Heath. D'Lo Brown (called "DeLorean Brown" here) also says that Heath needs a job. Heath then mentions his car got repossessed last night, and D'Lo says this is nothing like Repo Man stealing Bret Hart's jacket. We also hear from Heath's two daughters, who also tell Impact Wrestling to hire Heath.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) are met by The Good Brothers backstage, then The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) show up, and The Rascalz demand respect from The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) when The Good Brothers call them young boys. The Good Brothers say if they want a match, they've got it.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the week is Bully Ray vs. AJ Styles at Bound For Glory 2013.

We hear from Ethan Carter III, who tells Moose he knows what it is like to have the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He says that it is times like these that we control our narratives. He says that through technology, it is time for everyone to band together and help Moose find the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and give any and all relevant information to Moose's cell phone at (407) 457-8494. (Author's note: The number doesn't go to anything other than a voicemail that hasn't even been set up yet. Don't even call it. Seriously.)

Backstage, Rosemary tells Taya Valkyrie that she was unconscious backstage when Taya asks here where she was during her match last week, and says that they must be on the same page if they want things to work. Rosemary says she will help with Taya's problems first, then Taya will help with hers. Taya proposes she helps Rosemary with her problems before Rosemary helps her out. As Taya says that John E. Bravo is handling all the details for the wedding, John E. Bravo talks with a few members of the locker room, saying it is time for everyone to dig their heels in and get to work. The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) leave for their match, then Johnny Swinger takes offense to Fallah Bahh being the best man. After Fallah Bahh calls Swinger "Captain Spandex," Tommy Dreamer declares it is match time before Bravo tells him to shut up and asks who is experienced in scrapbooking.

Backstage, Brian Myers takes offense to being called a cheater in his last match against Willie Mack and flips a table, then Tommy Dreamer shows up to tell him to calm down, not be disrespectful and clean up the mess he made. Myers refuses, saying he wouldn't let his "wrestling dad" talk to him like this, much less his real dad. He then says he will clean it up, then warns Dreamer to walk the other direction the next time he sees him in the hallway.

Eric Young attacks The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) before the next match, then gets Cody Deaner in the ring. Cody fights back and brawls with Eric Young, but Eric hits him with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. Cousin Jake gets in the ring, and Eric Young retreats after a couple of forearms. When Jake checks on Cody, Eric Young gets back in the ring and attacks Jake again. Eric Young then hits Cousin Jake with a piledriver before grabbing a microphone and asking if Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann and Scott D'Amore are watching before saying that everything that happens from here on out is on them. Eric Young says that his hand was forced and that he gave Eddie and Swann the easy way out as he continues to attack The Deaners, then tells Scott D'Amore that it is his choice what happens from here on out. He then proceeds to taunt Cody before stomping on him and Cousin Jake, then proclaims it is his world and that everything is under his control and his design from now on. He then boots Cody out of the ring before going for an ankle lock on Jake. Security shows up, but Eric Young levels them before going for Cousin Jake's leg ankle again. Scott D'Amore shows up and tells Eric Young to let Jake go, and D'Amore has to get in the ring to break the hold and tell Eric to use his head. Eric Young forces Scott D'Amore into the corner then Eddie Edwards shows up and attacks Eric Young, forcing Eric to retreat.

Backstage, Eddie Edwards tells Scott D'Amore that he cannot let people walk over him, and demands a rematch so he can end Eric Young's reign of terror, saying he should be the one getting it and not Rich Swann. D'Amore tells Edwards he has his rematch at Victory Road, and tells him to be the leader he says he is.

Rob Van Dam beats Sami Callihan. As per pre-match stipulation, Katie Forbes gets five minutes in the ring with Sami Callihan. Katie Forbes and Rob Van Dam attack Rob Van Dam, but Sami Callihan throws a steel chair at Rob Van Dam before planting Forbes into the mat with a Cactus Special.

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) then show up, saying they were champs for over a year and that Austin and Fulton were lucky to tag with them. After Ethan Page says they were responsible for Austin and Fulton winning, Madman gets in The North's faces, and this leads to Page proposing a match between both teams next week.

Next week: Johnny Swinger vs. Fallah Bahh, where the winner is John E. Bravo's best man! Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie vs. Havok and Nevaeh! The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) vs. The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson)!
