Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 15, 2020

RIP Barry Scott, 1955 - 2020.

Susie and Kylie Rae beat Kimber Lee and Deonna Purrazzo. After the match, Susie almost transitions into Su Yung, but Kylie's presence snaps her out of it.

Backstage, Trey Miguel runs into Rohit Raju, who says that it is getting confusing who really has a shot at the Impact X Division Championship, but Trey tells Rohit he will beat TJP tonight and ask him for the next shot.

Backstage, John E. Bravo is met by Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, then he drags Fallah Bahh in when he shows up and says that Fallah is the best man, much to the surprise of Kiera and Tasha, who think that Fallah cannot talk only to be proven wrong.

XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D) beat The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake).

Trey Miguel beats TJP.

Backstage, Ace Austin, Madman Fulton and The North attack Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz. Security shows up, as does Jimmy Jacobs and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), to chase them out and check on Dez and Wentz.

Backstage, the doctor tells The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) that he cannot clear The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) to wrestle tonight. Suddenly, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) show up and try to fill in for Dez and Wentz.

Rich Swann shows up. He says that he should have done this at the office, but the world needs to hear this, and respectively asks Scott D'Amore to come to the ring. D'Amore shows up. Swann talks about how he had to publicly retire from wrestling early a few weeks ago, and as he sat at home and rehabilitated, Eric Young tried to ruin his life. He asks D'Amore to let him get back in the ring to face Eric Young. D'Amore says he has respect for Swann and says he would love to see him face Eric Young, but Swann is not medically cleared and cleared for physical contact. Swann says he will be ready by Bound For Glory, and after beating him once, he wants to beat him again. D'Amore says he loves his fighting spirit and knows he wants to compete, but if he were to put Swann in a match with Eric Young, he might be crippled for life. Swann says he might be right, but asks D'Amore to put himself in his shoes. He says that if he were to have the opportunity at a world championship after everything he went through, he would take it, and says that D'Amore is still in the business to give people like him the chance, as Young tried to not only ruin his career, but his life. Swann says he does not care if he gets crippled; he just wants Eric Young, and if he can't have Eric Young, he might as well be taken to the back of the barn and put down. Before D'Amore can say anything, Eric Young shows up. Eric Young shoves D'Amore, but Swann leaps at Eric Young and pounds on Eric Young, who soon retreats and tells Swann he will not make it to Bound For Glory. D'Amore interrupts and tells Swann to get ready to "take this piece of shit out" at Bound For Glory.

Backstage, Taya meets with Rosemary, asking where she was when Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz ganged up on her. Rosemary says she was trying to raise someone from the dead. Taya asks her to be at ringside tonight. Rosemary says she will take care of some business, then she will be there at ringside.

Willie Mack beats Brian Myers after Myers runs head-first into the top turnbuckle that he exposed earlier in the match.

Backstage, Rosemary is met by Havok and Nevaeh, and Rosemary asks Havok to help her resurrect a certain somebody that she murdered from the dead. Havok wants none of it, but Rosemary insists. Havok attacks Rosemary, but Nevaeh quickly stops her.

Backstage, Moose meets with Scott D'Amore regarding Ethan Carter III, but D'Amore says he has no time for this and thinks Moose is making his current situation up, and tells Moose to think things through. Moose then sees an image of EC3 on the wall, telling him that the longer he waits, the closer he gets to destroying the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and time is running out. Moose then gets on his phone and calls Chris Jericho for a favor. He asks Jericho what he did when he had a championship stolen from him, then realizes what he has to do.

Backstage, Rhino sneaks Heath into the arena through an exit door.

We see Tenille Dashwood have another photo shoot when Jordynne Grace interrupts it and tells her that next week, she has a match with her.

Kiera Hogan beats Taya Valkyrie following the distraction and interference by Tasha Steelz.

Backstage, Rhino meets with Hernandez for an arm wrestling rematch, and convinces him to switch to the other chair, as he does not wrestle with his back to the door. Hernandez switches chairs, and Heath steals Hernandez' money. Rhino then changes his mind on the rematch and leaves, much to the annoyance of Hernandez.

Backstage, Chris Bey finds Rohit Raju and tells him he owes him a rematch. Rohit Raju says he deserves a rematch, but TJP is next in line. TJP shows up, but Rohit tells him that Trey Miguel beat him and is next in line. Trey then shows up. Rohit proposes the three of them have a match to see who faces him for the X Division Championship next, and tells that they have his word for that championship match. Everyone else leaves.

Next week: Kimber Lee vs. Susie! Rohit Raju defends the X Division Championship! Jordynne Grace vs. Tenille Dashwood!

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander), Ace Austin and Madman Fulton beat The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) after Ace Austin tags himself in following a double-team on Chris Sabin by The North. Tensions then flare between The North and the team of Austin and Fulton after the match.
