My predictions for SummerSlam 2014

John Cena (c) vs Brock Lesnar
for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

It was only a matter of time before Lesnar returned...and this time, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is on the line, now that Triple H is fresh out of options. Paul Heyman says Lensar will annihilate Cena. We'll see.

My prediction: Cena will probably retain.

Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho

What's this? A rematch from Money In The Bank? Well, these two guys are pretty cool, so I'm game.

My prediction: Wyatt will get his win back here.

Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon

It's the Divas match we've been waiting for! Brie Bella finally gets her come-uppance on Stephanie McMahon (we hope)!

My prediction: Brie Bella will win this one.

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev
in a Flag Match

Well, it finally happened. Rusev and Swagger fight in a match to get their respective country's flag before the other does. This should have happened at Battleground, to be honest.

My prediction: Rusev will probably win out again.

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has cost Randy Orton a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship again...and this time, Orton's gone ballistic! Now Orton will teach him a lesson...if he doesn't get a Superman Punch first!

My prediction: Orton will probably win this one.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
in a Lumberjack match

They destroyed people together as two-thirds of The Shield...but now they're two men torn apart by greed. Now Dean Ambrose has made the stipulation of surrounding the ring with the bodies of those they conquered as part of a unit. Anything could happen!

My prediction: Ambrose will probably win this one.

The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Ziggler gets another chance at the Intercontinental title, but this time he'll have to wrestle it (figuratively and literally) from The Miz's grasp.

My prediction: Miz will most likely retain somehow, as much as I want Ziggler to win the title.

AJ Lee (c) vs Paige
for the WWE Divas Championship

Since AJ Lee took the Divas title back from Paige, it's only right that Paige want her rematch...and this time, she's made it personal to spread the message that she promises to take it back from her!

My prediction: AJ will probably retain.

Layin 'da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for August 15, 2014

The Miz kicks off the show with Miz TV! He promises to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship successfully at SummerSlam, then mentor the younger WWE Superstars. Speaking of the younger Superstars of the WWE, Miz brings out tonight's special guest: Roman Reigns. When Miz mentions that Reigns is his mom's favorite superstar, he says "Tell your mom I said what's up." Miz asks Reigns if he's ready for Orton, and if he's not, Miz implies he's going to be remembered as a failure. As Miz continues to ask questions, Roman Reigns punches Miz in the "moneymaker" for his constant remarks, causing Miz to flee. As for Orton, Roman respects him for his championship-winning attitude, but he plans to put him out at SummerSlam.

Dean Ambrose beats Cesaro. Seth Rollins shows up after the match and tells him he plans to win this Sunday at SummerSlam and prove he's the future of the WWE and better than some "lunatic" that he was never, ever friends with.

Kane talks to The Miz in the back. The Miz wants Roman Reigns banned from Miz TV, but Kane has a better idea: Miz vs. Reigns tonight!

Dolph Ziggler beats Titus O'Neil.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry beats Luke Harper by disqualification after interference by Erick Rowan. Big Show chases Harper and Rowan out of the ring after that. During the commercial break, Kane shows up and restarts the match as a tag team match: Mark Henry and Big Show vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan).

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry and Big Show beat The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan).

Eva Marie beats AJ Lee by count-out, after Paige distracts AJ, causing AJ to go for the kill and attack her outside the ring long enough to fail to make it back to the ring before the ten count. Eva Marie runs when AJ gets angry. When AJ turns around, Paige kicks AJ in the face before hitting the Paige Turner.

Jack Swagger makes quick work of Bo Dallas with the Patriot Lock. After the match, Rusev and Lana show up, and Lana says that the winner of Sunday's match at SummerSlam will have their country's flag raised high above the ring. Rusev plans to dedicate his victory to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

After the match, Bo Dallas makes excuses for his loss on the WWE App.

Roman Reigns beats The Miz after Dolph Ziggler keeps The Miz from running away.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for August 14, 2014

Bully Ray shows up to start the show off on a happy foot. He calls putting Dixie Carter through a table one of the best feelings he's ever had. He thanks the fans for making it happen, then thanks one man in particular: his tag team partner, Devon. He's glad to be home in New York City, and before he can get down to business, The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) show up. They congratulate Team 3D (Bully Ray and Devon) for entering the TNA Hall of Fame, then reminisce about their amazing matches against each other in the height of the Attitude Era. The crowd chants "one more match," and Bully Ray likes the idea. So does everyone else in the ring, and they agree on having their first match against each other in 12 years tonight.

Samoa Joe is ready to defend his X Division title.

Rockstar Spud, Rhino and Ethan Carter III have arrived...

Eric Young, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode talk about Dixie going through a table...then concentrate on Team MVP.

Low Ki beats Homicide, DJ Z, Crazzy Steve, Tigre Uno and Manik in an X Division Championship Scramble match to become #1 contender for the TNA X Division Championship.

Rockstar Spud, Rhino and Ethan Carter III are here...

Rockstar Spud, Rhino and Ethan Carter III enter the ring to observe a moment of silence for Dixie Carter. When they keep getting booed, Spud gets mad and hands the microphone to EC3, who demands the termination of Bully Ray from TNA, and refuses to leave the ring until that happens. Kurt Angle shows up and tells Rockstar to shut up before telling EC3 that it's not happening. Angle makes it clear: Bully's termination ain't gonna happen. He tells EC3 to either wrestle tonight or get out of his ring. EC3 refuses to comply with either option, so he sics Brooklyn's finest on them. The cops show up and surround the Dixie Train. Rockstar Spud wants to fight, and this causes the cops to immediately arrest him and Rhyno. When EC3 tries to bribe one of the cops, he gets cuffed, too. All three men are escorted out of the arena.
