Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 2, 2018

Jonathan Coachman is in the ring to moderate an in-ring face off between the team of WWE CEO Triple H and Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and the team of Raw General Manger Kurt Angle and "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey. Triple H and Stephanie show up first, followed by Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey. Triple H says it is a shame that everyone is chanting for Ronda Rousey, because the fans want to like her and the deafening roar will become a deafening silence due to Kurt Angle. Triple H says Kurt Angle has intensity and integrity, but he does not "get the intelligence thing" after Angle set her up for what he says is embarrassment on the grandest stage of all. He says this is a whopper even for Kurt, and wants to know why. Rousey intervenes, wanting to know why she was signed with ulterior motives. Stephanie tries to brush it aside, saying Rousey's career will be rebuilt after WrestleMania. When Rousey demands an answer, Stephanie says they signed her because she is what is best for business. She also says that Angle has derailed her career and cost her and WWE millions of dollars, and that both Angle and Rousey work for her. Stephanie asks Ronda who she thinks she is. Angle takes this question, saying she is Ronda Rousey and that she will make Stephanie tap out. Triple H says she knows who Ronda Rousey is, and then says that what Ronda Rousey has made possible in UFC and the Olympics means nothing in the WWE. He also says that WWE is his and Stephanie's entire lives. Triple H says they are confident because they know the rules and Ronda does not, and that they know the rules because they are the ones to make them. He says Ronda losing is a foregone conclusion. Stephanie says it is important for her and Triple H to win, as Angle, Rousey and the entire locker room will learn to respect authority. Angle says that Ronda Rousey is the baddest woman on the planet and that she will prove it by making Stephanie tap out. Stephanie tells Ronda Rousey to remember that she chose this path and it is all on her, and that she will lose at WrestleMania in her very first match in WWE history. She also says the entire world knows how Ronda Rousey handles losses. Rousey asks Stephanie if she is right- or left-handed so Stephanie can still sign her checks when she rips a hand off. The pre-match face-off ends with a photo op, and both teams stare each other down in the center of the ring. Triple H and Angle shake hands, then Stephanie offers her hand to Ronda Rousey before telling her she will lose. Rousey steps up, then stops Stephanie from leaving the ring. Triple H attacks Kurt Angle with a microphone from behind, and Ronda goes after Triple H only for Stephanie to put her through one of the tables.

Bayley beats Sonya Deville with a roll-up. After the match, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville attack Bayley, and Sasha Banks runs into the ring to fight Mandy and Sonya off. After Sasha and Bayley clean house, Sasha asks Bayley to raise her hand, and Bayley says she didn't need her help. Sasha grabs Bayley by the chin, and this starts a brawl between Sasha and Bayley that Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville take advantage of. Sasha asks Bayley to raise her hand, and Bayley says she didn't need her help. Sasha grabs Bayley by the chin, and this starts a brawl between Sasha and Bayley that Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville take advantage of.

We see a video package chronicling Asuka's undefeated streak.

The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

Seth Rollins beats Finn Balor in a close match.

It is announced that the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship will be part of the WrestleMania 34 pre-show.

We look back at Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 33, courtesy of Snickers.

We see a video package chronicling Brock Lesnar's 365-day reign as WWE Universal Champion as well as the events leading up to Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Paul Heyman is on the phone when General Manager Kurt Angle shows up. Angle tells Heyman that the most important part of WrestleMania is to keep the main event intact. Heyman says he and Brock Lesnar will go out to the ring, say their piece and keep the fighting at WrestleMania. Angle asks Heyman not to say anything that would get Roman Reigns riled up. Heyman laughs at the thought of Angle being concerned about Lesnar's well-being, but Angle says both Roman and Lesnar want to injure each other more than ever. Heyman says he will take it under consideration.

Sheamus and Cesaro show up. Sheamus says Braun Strowman needs to listen up. Cesaro says he and Sheamus do not care who Braun's tag team partner is, as Braun will still lose due to not being a tag team wrestler. Sheamus says Braun and his tag team partner will never be a real team while Cesaro says they will never get the Raw tag team titles. Suddenly, Braun Strowman shows up. He tells Sheamus and Cesaro that they are right in thinking he does not play well with others; nevertheless, he must have a tag team partner, and he has gotten one. He has been talking to that partner in the back, and his partner has a problem with what Sheamus and Cesaro are saying. Cesaro dares his partner to get in the ring if he has a problem. Braun says he will, on the condition that he gets a match with either Sheamus or Cesaro. Sheamus and Cesaro accept the challenge. Braun Strowman then says "Good...I'll go get him." He heads to the back, but warns Sheamus and Cesaro that he is a lot like him, but just a little different. Braun heads to the back, then the mystery tag team partner shows up. It is Braun Strowman in a white sleeveless shirt and a pair of glasses. He then says Braun is his brother and that he is "Brains," and that he is about to knock the brains out of their heads. Sheamus and Cesaro then fight Braun, and Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick. Sheamus and Cesaro then gang up on Braun, who powers out and fights back. Sheamus and Cesaro high-tail it out of the ring.

We hear from Goldust, who quotes a line from Andre The Giant from The Princess Bride before saying that he will lay his hands upon Andre's gold effigy when he wins the Andre The Giant Battle Memorial Battle Royal and HBO will have to make a documentary about him. We then hear from Matt Hardy, who also seeks to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He says that the ancients have trained him, and that he will render all challengers obsolete before announcing that he and Goldust will square off tonight. That match is next.

Matt Hardy beats Goldust.

We hear from Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, who continue to make fun of Nia Jax prior to her interview.

We are WWE.

John Cena shows up. John Cena says he may be entering WrestleMania as a fan, and says he will not take a spot at a a battle royal from someone who has earned it. He says that he wants a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania, as nobody will be held back from a WrestleMania moment and two legends will duke it out. He talks about his engagement to Nikki Bella at last year's WrestleMania, and says there is a lot of things going on outside the ring for him, but change happens for him everyday. Cena then says this year's WrestleMania is the perfect opportunity for a change. The crowd chants for The Undertaker. Cena then says he hopes The Undertaker hears the crowd, and says he probably doesn't. He then says he is proud to come to WrestleMania as a fan due to what is happening at WrestleMania this year. Cena then apologizes about The Undertaker, saying he did everything he possibly could to summon him, as did the fans. He almost gives up on the Atlanta, Georgia crowd in the process. Cena then tells the Atlanta crowd to give it everything they have to summon The Undertaker. He then tells the crowd to get louder. The crowd then starts chanting for The Undertaker. Once again, nothing happens, and Cena shows disappointment in The Undertaker once again for not doing anything for four weeks straight. He says The Undertaker can ignore him all he wants, but the second he ignores the fans, he is a dead man walking. Cena says it is obvious that he left his hat in the ring and his balls at home. The crowd then chants for Cena.

In the locker room, General Manager Kurt Angle asks Roman Reigns not to ruin his WrestleMania opportunity, and says Paul Heyman has agreed not to say anything that would cause Roman to attack Brock Lesnar. Since he has respect for Angle, he is willing to hear Heyman out. As for Brock Lesnar, he has had it with him, and he tells Angle to take his peace treaty back to the pawn shop where he left his gold medals.

Elias is in the center of the ring. He plays guitar, then says he has the keys to life and if anyone wants to be saved, they must know that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias." He then calls Atlanta, Georgia "a hellhole of a dump" and that if it were up to him, he would bypass the city and go to another one that actually matters. Elias says that at WrestleMania, he has the performance of a lifetime in store for everyone, then plays another song. That song is quickly interrupted by Heath Slater's entrance theme.

Elias beats Heath Slater.

Backstage, Braun Strowman runs into Curt Hawkins, who is wearing a "Pick Me Braun" tanktop. He wants Braun to pick him as a tag team partner so he can get his big break. Curt gets tossed into a nearby wall.

We see footage from earlier today where Renee Young interviews Nia Jax. Nia Jax says Alexa Bliss' treatment towards her took her back to how it was for her growing up, but she has learned to respect herself. She says that she has been disappointed in herself, and that comments made towards her by Alexa Bliss and Mickie James have chipped at her confidence. However, she has grown to love who she is and what she has accomplishments. Nia goes on to call Alexa Bliss a representation of all the people who want to keep her down, and calls Alexa "an insecure little girl" and "a pathetic fly" before saying she will squash her like a bug.

Dana Brooke and Asuka beat Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. After the match, Alexa and Mickie double team Asuka and Dana, then Nia Jax runs out and gets her hands on Alexa. Mickie attacks Nia from behind to let Asuka get away, and Nia Jax makes Mickie pay by laying her out.

Backstage, General Manager Kurt Angle meets up with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. Heyman says he will keep it positive when he talks about Lesnar's Universal Title match with Roman Reigns in the ring.

Tomorrow night on WWE Mixed Match Challenge: Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair vs. The Miz and Asuka!

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up. Suddenly, WWE Superstars show up to form a human wall on the ramp in case Roman Reigns shows up. Heyman tries to speak, but he is preoccupied by the wall of Superstars. He says that is the picture perfect example of General Manager Kurt Angle's overcompensative behavior, and says control really belongs to Brock Lesnar. He then swears and affirms to tell nothing but the truth, and that last time he and Brock Lesnar were in New Orleans, he swore Lesnar would break The Undertaker's undefeated streak, and Lesnar did. He then talks about Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship and how everyone thinks it is Roman's destiny to dethrone Lesnar as WWE Universal Champion. He admits that one has to respect Roman, his bloodline and his accomplishments, but this Sunday, Brock Lesnar will F5 Roman Reigns and pin him in the center of the ring to retain the WWE Universal Championship. He says this is not a prediction, but a spoiler as well as the truth. Heyman also says that should Lesnar injure himself, then this is the last time he and Lesnar will be seen on Raw. Heyman then talks about the whole mystique that he has built about Brock Lesnar, and says the image he has created is 100% true. He also says Lesnar feels there is not one person in the locker room who can hold his jock, let alone his title. He then says Roman Reigns' only choice is to accept defeat, and that Lesnar owns Reigns, who will go home to his extended family and tell them he got conquered by Brock Lesnar, because the truth is that Roman Reigns is Lesnar's bitch. To the surprise of nobody, Roman Reigns shows up and meets the wall of Superstars, who keep him from going down the ramp. He asks the full-time Superstars if they are going to protect a part-timer like Brock Lesnar, and tells them to think about it. The wall of Superstars then make a path for Roman Reigns to head straight down the ramp, and Reigns heads to the ring. Roman gets in, then both he and Lesnar circle the inside of the ring. Lesnar then slides out and takes the WWE Universal Championship with him. However, instead of leaving towards the back, he grabs a steel chair and takes it back into the ring with him. Lesnar charges at Roman with the chair, but Roman answers with three Superman Punches. Lesnar stumbles and grabs the chair again, but Roman hits a fourth Superman Punch before waiting for Lesnar to get up. Lesnar gets up, but Roman quickly hits a fifth Superman Punch before focusing on the WWE Universal Championship. Roman holds the WWE Universal Championship in the air in the center of the ring, then looks at the WrestleMania sign. Suddenly, Lesnar gets up, picks Roman up and hits Roman with an F5. Lesnar and Heyman then head to the back to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 5, 2018

General Manager Kurt Angle shows up to start tonight's show. Ever since he returned to WWE as Raw General Manager, he has had to swallow his pride on a couple of occasions, and as a GM, you have to do what is best for business. Last week, Triple H sucker punched him, and he is not going to pretend everything is okay. He calls Triple H, and he does not care if he is COO of the company. He dares Triple H to face him like a man, and takes his jacket off. Instead of Triple H, he gets Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says that Triple H has not made it to the building yet, then brings up Angle's personal life of having to pay his ex-wife alimony and his five kids. He then says there are not many people like Kurt Angle in the world who have done what he has done. She then says that his past accolades do not pay the bills, and that being General Manger of Raw does. She tells Angle to think about it, and says that it was not like Triple H was provoked. She says it is Angle's fault for that, and tells Angle to know his role and make the matches, and put everything in the past. Suddenly, Ronda Rousey shows up. Ronda tells Stephanie that what she did to Kurt was "enlightening," and that she has the feeling that the people who brought her to the WWE are not who she thought they were, but she is used to it and she will deal with it in her own way. Stephanie says that being part of the WWE that she oversees is not a bad thing, and that she has gotten her dream opportunity to become part of WrestleMania in her debut match. Ronda asks if her contract asks if she can choose her opponent, and Stephanie says it does as long as the opponent is not a champion and part of the active roster. Ronda says she has an opponent in mind. Stephanie asks for a drumroll, but the drumroll barely starts before she says she has chosen Stephanie. Suddenly, Triple H shows up and says this is not going to happen. He tells Angle to take off his Olympic gold medals and do his job, and says that Stephanie is just the Commissioner. Angle says that Angle has a contract as a WWE executive, but a second contract as a Superstar. Since he makes the matches, Stephanie is facing Ronda at WrestleMania. Angle also says that he knows somebody with a second contract in WWE: Triple H. Angle states that he told Triple H at Survivor Series that if he attacked him again, he would come after him. At WrestleMania, it will be him and Ronda vs. Triple H and Stephanie in a mixed tag team match. An enraged Stephanie gets in Angle's face and almost slaps him, but Ronda grabs Stephanie by the arm as she tries to slap him. Triple H gets in-between them to help Stephanie out of the ring, then tries to hit Angle with a cheap shot. Angle catches the cheap shot and both men brawl, and Angle tries to get Triple H in the ankle lock. Triple H boots Angle to the corner, and Ronda confronts Triple H only to be hit from behind by Stephanie. Ronda turns around, the fist having no effect, and Stephanie runs out of the ring and flees through the crowd. Ronda turns back towards Triple H. Triple H goes for a Pedigree on Angle, but Angle counters it and turns it into an ankle lock. Stephanie is now back at ringside, and she grabs Triple H by the arm, dragging him out of the ring. Ronda reaches through the ring ropes and grabs Stephanie by the hair, dragging her back into the ring. Stephanie tries to back up, but Ronda gets her up into a fireman's carry position and hits a crushing Samoan Drop. Ronda and Angle then celebrate in the ring.

Asuka beats Nia Jax with the arm bar despite three attempts by Nia Jax to break the hold with powerbombs. During the match, Charly Caruso interviews Alexa Bliss, who says that Nia Jax needs a win tonight and that tonight is her night. She says Asuka has been lucky and that her luck will run out when Nia Jax ends her undefeated streak and her career.

Chloe and Halle will be performing "America the Beautiful" at WrestleMania.

Sheamus and Cesaro beat The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson). (Had The Revival won, they would have face Sheamus and Cesaro for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.)

We see a trailer for the new movie The Strangers Prey At Night - premiering this Friday - interspersed with footage of Bray Wyatt, The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan), The Undertaker and Kane.

John Cena shows up. Cena says he is here tonight to talk to the crowd about last week's SmackDown Live. He asks that the fans listen, as he has found his road to WrestleMania and General Manager Kurt Angle has granted him the time to talk about SmackDown as he knows how important Fastlane is. This Sunday at Fastlane, there is a Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship, and there is no way any of his opponents will allow him to say what he has to say uninterrupted, which explains why he is talking about it here. Cena announces that he will break the record for the most world title reigns by a single Superstar, and win a world title in WWE for the 17th time. He says that all records are made to be broken, even the ones that are held very close, as this is his only road to WrestleMania. For the past few weeks, he has been smothered in criticism and told he has been handed the opportunity and has held people back. Cena says he was not handed success; he was handed a chance, and with that chance, he made his road to WrestleMania. He says that he will never be a man who will hold anybody back, and he encourages AJ Styles to make a greater WrestleMania moment and use his rematch clause right away to make the match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania a Triple Threat Match. Suddenly, Goldust shows up. Goldust addresses Cena as the fans' "leading man," and says he has always had a dream of sharing the silver screen with someone like him, especially at WrestleMania. He then says that dream begins with him stopping John Cena from going to WrestleMania. Goldust admits his dreams have never had that perfect ending, and that his dreams of "pretty little rainbows" have turned gray and "very, very evil." He then says that this ends today. If Cena wants to go to WrestleMania for the WWE title, that is his dream, but he is taking control as his new director for "this epic motion picture." Tonight, he says that Cena's dreams will be shattered, then hits Cena with a cheap shot before the show goes to a commercial break.

John Cena beats Goldust.

Backstage, General Manager Kurt Angle is interrupted by Elias during a phone call. Elias asks Angle to cancel his Symphony of Destruction Match with Braun Strowman, saying it brings the wrong message and that music should bring people together, not set them apart. Angle refuses to cancel the match, and Elias says if anything happens to Strowman, it will be on him. He also tells Elias to get a new strategy, as this match will also have Falls Count Anywhere rules.

It is announced that Hillbilly Jim is the next inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.

Bayley shows up. Charly Caruso interviews Bayley about last week. She says Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber were every woman for herself, but what Sasha Banks did to her was hard to digest. Suddenly, Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville) shows up. Paige congratulates Bayley for growing a backbone, but says she is still a stupid little girl for pushing back the last person who had her back. She says her life would be easier with back-up, and if Bayley has nobody, she has nothing. Mandy Rose then gets in the ring with Bayley for the next match.

Bayley beats Mandy Rose after countering a roll-up with one of her own. After the match, Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville) attacks Bayley, but Sasha Banks runs into the ring and cleans house. Sasha then helps Bayley up and raises her arm, but Bayley isn't exactly thrilled. She then tries to hug it out, but Bayley is not in the mood and she pushes Sasha away before leaving.

WWE celebrates the life and achievements of Eunice Kennedy Shriver to celebrate Women's History Month.

Nia Jax is in the trainer's room icing her right arm when Alexa Bliss and Mickie James show up. Mickie James leaves, then Alexa knows that Nia Jax is unbelievably disappointed after Elimination Chamber and tonight, and says she has never seen Nia give up like that before. She does not want Nia Jax to feel like a failure or that she has left everyone down, and wants her to know she has friends. Even though she is not on the WrestleMania card this year, she will be next year. She tells Nia Jax to be proud of what she has done and pick herself back up. Alexa reminds Nia Jax of what she went through as a kid with all the bullying, as well as the bullying she sometimes deals with now, and tells her that she cannot let this be her downfall or else everyone will lose all respect for her. Nia Jax cries.

It is announced that Ronda Rousey was inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame Friday.

We hear from Braun Strowman, who says Elias is sweating bullets due to his Symphony of Destruction Match. He says Elias is trying to get out of the match, but he is not finished with him and he will get these hands, keys and drums. He then says that tonight is the countdown to Elias' extinction.

Elias plays piano on the stage before the next match. Elias also shows his proficiency with a drum kit, then plays his signature as he says Braun Strowman is living in his world and that he will learn that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias." He then plays his signature guitar as he walks down the aisle and sings about the next match. He also makes fun of the local sports town as he says that Milwaukee, Wisconsin sucks. Elias then sings that he is not afraid of Braun Strowman, then asks for a proper introduction. The lights go out, and he is introduced before a light is shining on the stool in the center of the ring. Suddenly, Elias is running out of the match through the crowd. Elias goes backstage and tries to get out of the building, and gets in a car. He turns the key, but the car isn't going anywhere. He looks into the rear view mirror only to see that Braun Strowman is lifting the back of the car, keeping it from going. He runs back to the ring with Braun Strowman giving chase, and the next match starts.

Braun Strowman beats Elias in a Symphony Of Destruction Match after sending a piano down on Elias on the stage. EMTs have to tend to Elias after the match and take him out on a stretcher.

This week on Mixed Match Challenge: Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman vs. Naomi and Jimmy Uso!

It is announced that a 50-man Royal Rumble match will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27th.

Bray Wyatt quickly beats Rhyno. After the match, Bray Wyatt says he knows Matt Hardy can hear him, and dares him to show his face. He says that The Final Deletion and The Great War is far from over. Suddenly, Matt is on the TitanTron, and strange harpsichord music plays as Matt Hardy says that the only battlefield worthy of their battle: the Hardy Compound. We see footage of Matt Hardy on the grounds of his home in Camden, North Carolina, and tells Bray Wyatt to prepare for "the ultimate deletion."

The Miztourage (The Miz, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel) are in the ring for the 3rd Annual Mizzie Awards. After The Miz makes fun of last night's Oscar Awards, the Mizzie Awards are underway. The first award is The Superstar Who Is The Best At Patting Themselves On The Back, which goes to Seth Rollins for his 65-minute performance two weeks ago and Finn Balor for losing the Universal Championship in 24 hours due to injury. (Seth Rollins and Finn Balor cannot accept their awards due to not being invited.) The next award is Worst Decision By The Raw General Manager. Kurt Angle wins unanimously, and Miz says he cannot win because he is "too busy sucking up to Ronda Rousey.". Before The Miz can give himself a Lifetime Achievement Mizzie for being 55 days away from breaking Pedro Morales' record for most days as Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins shows up. Rollins says he was enjoying the Mizzies, but somebody had to play Miz off because he was dragging. Suddenly, Finn Balor shows up. Seth wants to know what is going on with Finn showing up, but Finn says he is here to do Seth one better. Miz says he'll do both him and Seth one better, and says neither man deserves a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Miz says nobody makes losing look better than him, and says that Finn has done nothing since losing the WWE Universal Championship. He then says it takes more than "a hand sign that's not even yours" to get over, and challenges Seth and Finn to a handicap match against the entire Miztourage. Seth says that if this is what it takes to shut him up, he's on. Finn and Seth head to the ring.

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor beat The Miztourage (The Miz, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel). After the match, General Manager Kurt Angle shows up and announces that The Miz will be competing against Seth and Finn in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania.

Paul Heyman shows up and says he is here to set the record straight. He lays the Universal title down, and says if Brock Lesnar allows him to, he will do it again along with the UFC Heavyweight title. He then addresses Roman Reigns' comments from last week, and says that beating The Undertaker at WrestleMania was Roman Reigns' greatest accomplishment to date. Heyman then says that The Undertaker is nothing compared to Brock Lesnar, and that Roman will not be taking the Universal title at WrestleMania. He then announces that he will bring Brock Lesnar out next week. Heyman then address Roman Reigns calling Brock Lesnar his bitch, and says that Lesnar's real bitch is the Universal title. He then says that Roman Reigns "can't have her." He then says that Roman Reigns will have to take the Universal title from Lesnar's "hot, competitive fingers," and says that Brock Lesnar has always wanted to be #1. He says that whoever holds the Universal title is better than all the rest. Heyman then says it is not how badly you want the title, but how badly the title wants you. Heyman says Brock Lesnar will be at Raw next week, and Roman can say whatever he wants to him, as he has learned that he doesn't want to shoot on the mic with him and shoot in the ring with Lesnar. Suddenly, Roman Reigns shows up. Roman stares down Paul Heyman and tells him to get the Universal title, then Paul hands him the microphone. Roman says he said some things last week, and while some of it was harsh, all of it was true. He is unimpressed with Heyman being sent out for the rebuttal, and says Lesnar really is a bitch. He says Roman wants is a Universal Champion who comes to work and wants to be here, and if Lesnar will be at Raw next week, so will he. He tells Heyman that Lesnar can say what he wants, but he had better be dressed for a fight.

He says every armor has a weakness, and knows Hideo Itami has weaknesses he will recover. Cedric Alexander and Goldust show up. Goldust says our lives are determined by opportunities, even the ones we miss. He says some may say his and Cedric's relationship is curious, but he knows a star when he sess one and says Cedric is a star on the cusp of a golden opportunity to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. Cedric thanks him for being a good friend and mentor, and Goldust says he has gotten his fire all riled up again. Suddenly, Enzo Amore shows up with The 'Zo Train (Drew Gulak, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari). Enzo says Goldust must be crazy calling himself Scorcese, and if you want to see a couple Goodfellas, to look at The 'Zo Train. He says Goldust and Cedric should win an award for acting buddy-buddy, but he is a bigger star than Goldust ever will be. At Royal Rumble, he will make Cedric Alexander famous with a JawDonZo before calling Goldust a comedy act. Goldust says the only clown he sees is Enzo. Enzo tells Goldust he is over 205 lbs., and says he should shut up. Goldust dares Enzo to get in the ring and make him shut up. Enzo says he will get into the ring and make him famous. He knows Cedric is a rising star, and he is here to help him on his quest for gold. Goldust compared their tandem to Thelma and Louise, Laurel and Hardy, and Turner and Hooch. Cedric asks if he knows Hooch was the dog. Goldust says Cedric is his "dawg." Cedric says this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

Before the next match, "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher said we all learned that Hideo Itami is here to maim and disfigure, as The Brian Kendrick learned first-hand last week. After footage of what happened is played, Gallagher mentions Kendrick's injuries and says he is out of work for two months. He has watched the footage over and over again, and we see the footage again in slow motion. When he watches the footage, he does not feel empathy, but inspiration to dissect Hideo Itami and make him suffer. Before the bell can ring after Hideo Itami shows up, Gallagher swings the umbrella. Referees show up to restore order to a match that is over before it can begin, then check on Hideo Itami as Gallagher leaves.

Daivari states that their challenge was for Cruiserweights only, but Gulak says they are ready for any challenge. Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 25, 2017

Tonight's show starts with Miz TV, with special guest Roman Reigns. Miz apologizes for the booing, but Roman says "We like it loud." Miz talks about Roman's recent string of victories, and says his match with John Cena last night was a "passing of the torch" moment according to Cena. Roman says he respects John Cena now. He says Cena said a lot of things and backed it up, and says he has done that and held the fort down for 15 years. This makes him even prouder that he beat John Cena, and says it is the biggest win of his career. Roman then says he doesn't understand why he is suddenly talking to "an idiot" like Miz. The Miz says he is "the guy," because he is the one in the ring with the championship after last night and the one who proved Jason Jordan a loser. Roman says Jordan is a thoroughbred, and that Miz can't beat him one-on-one. He says he can't win without Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, and tells Miz to get him a drink. Miz says this show is a classy establishment, and they do not drink beer. Miz says Roman was riding coattails himself five years ago, and says The Miztourage (The Miz, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel) would beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns). Roman says The Shield would whip their asses, and says The Shield is not coming back since he is doing his thing and Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose theirs. After Roman says he is going for the Universal title, The Miz says Roman has disrespected The Miztourage, and says Roman hasn't won the big one yet. Miz says that since he came to Raw, he has won matches where it mattered and became the man to beat. Roman takes this as a challenge, and asks the crowd if they want to see him beat The Miz. The Miz wants no part of this, but Roman wants a fight. The Miz leaves with the rest of The Miztourage, but General Manager Kurt Angle shows up. Angle tells Miz to tell Maryse he'll be home late, because Roman vs. Miz is now official. As for Bo and Curtis, they have a match with Jason Jordan and Matt Hardy...and it's next.

Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan beat The Miztourage (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). During the match, it is announced that Jeff Hardy's right shoulder is injured following last week's Six Pack Challenge Match and will require surgery.

There will be a special encore presentation of the season premiere of Total Bellas after Raw (as well as a new episode of WWE Story Time on the WWE Network).

Elias sing about the town he is in as well as Apollo Crews until Crews' entrance interrupts him.

Elias beats Apollo Crews after kicking at Titus O'Neil, distracting Apollo just enough to hit Drift Away when he gets him back in the ring. After the match, Elias gets Titus in the ring, but Titus fights back.

Charly Caruso interviews Finn Balor. Finn thanks Bray Wyatt for doubting him as a man and pushing him to the limit. He also thanks Bray for making him do things he didn't think he would do, and hopes he feels a bit of humility, not just for him, but for Goldust and anyone else he has victimized in the past. With Bray Wyatt now behind him, Finn is looking forward to taking back the WWE Universal Championship.

Curt Hawkins is in the ring. He says the "Curt Hawkins History Machine" is up and running. He asks who wants to make history with him so he can end his losing streak...and Braun Strowman answers. Hawkins runs into the crowd only to be choke slammed into a table and power slammed into the LED boards of the Minitron. Braun gets back in the ring says he will be razing a path of destruction after what happened, and he will not stop until he gets a real fight. That challenge is answered by Dean Ambrose, who glances at Hawkins before shrugging and heading to the ring.

Braun Strowman beats Dean Ambrose after catching him out of the air and hitting him with a running powerslam.

General Manager Kurt Angle asks a referee to keep an eye out for The Miztourage (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) when The Miz faces Roman Reigns when Enzo Amore shows up. Enzo asks Angle how big he wants to make the show tonight, and wants to have a championship celebration tonight. Angle says Enzo's victory was suspect, but Enzo gets worked up about it, saying everyone gets one, and Angle lets him have it. When Angle tries to give him advice concerning his first-ever championship reign, Enzo turns it down.

Tonight's great moment in WWE History: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin with the Coors Light truck and the beer bath from March 1999.

In the locker room, Seth Rollins hands Dean Ambrose an ice pack and asks him to be more careful. Dean says he's taking chances and risks, but Seth says he has a match and wanted him to be at ringside. Seth asks him to let him know when he does something like this again. Dean tells Seth to be less predictable. Dean mentions what Seth has done as of late as a counter-point, and Seth says he will talk to General Manager Kurt Angle and get a match with Strowman next week.

Alexa Bliss shows up. Alexa says she has had issues with the fans in the past, but she considers each and every one of them her friends. She says the fans feel that way, too, but she has to be honest with them. She is disappointed with each and every one of them. She says she beat four women - the best the red brand has to offer - only to get nonsense and gossip on her social media feed. She says the fans are so preoccupied with tomorrow that they don't care if they are in front of a goddess right now. Alexa goes on to say that she doesn't need this, as she cleaned the red brand's Women's division out. Suddenly, Mickie James shows up. Mickie James says she was not in last night's Fatal 5-Way, and mentions Alexa's rant on last night's Raw Talk, where she mentioned her by name. Alexa says she respects her, and if she didn't, she wouldn't have brought her back to WWE. As she makes jokes about her, Mickie James wants to know if Alexa is scared. Alexa says Mickie James has still got it and that she loves her, but she doesn't want to see her break a hip. Mickie says she knows who she is, and that she has broken bones, hearts and barriers before Alexa wore a training bra, "which is obviously still working out well for [her]." Mickie wants Alexa to repeat what she said on Raw Talk or get out, as the ring is no place for a coward. Alexa calls Mickie "an old lady," and gets smacked around for her efforts.

Seth Rollins beats Sheamus.

Backstage, Finn Balor runs into Goldust, who is now back in full make-up. Goldust feels slighted after Finn's comments from earlier, saying Finn is an extraordinary man who can do extraordinary things, but he is not a victim. Finn Balor apologizes to Goldust. Goldust apologizes to Finn. They do a fist bump, but Goldust then slaps Finn. Goldust tells Finn to keep his friends close and his enemies closer, then says "The Godfather, 1974."

Roman Reigns beats The Miz. After the match, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel take the boots to Roman Reigns. Suddenly, Roman Reigns fights back, and hits Miz with another Superman Punch. Instead of going for the Spear, he goes for a powerbomb, and Bo and Axel strike Roman from behind with steel chairs before helping Miz hit Roman with a Skull Crushing Finale. As The Miztourage (Miz, Bo, Axel) leaves, Miz looks back. The three of them run back into the ring and punish Roman some more. Miz lays a steel chair on the mat to ready a Skull Crushing Finale into a steel chair, and he hits it with help from Bo and Axel. Following a second one, The Miztourage stand over their handiwork, then mocks The Shield's (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) signature fist bump.

This Wednesday on NXT: Eric Young vs. Adam Cole!

Finn Balor beats Goldust. After his match, Bray Wyatt makes his presence known.

Backstage, Sasha Banks and Bayley converse. Sasha says she was so close to being champion again. Bayley says she wasn't the only one. Sasha says she is over it, and so should Bayley. Tonight, they team with Nia Jax and Emma. Sasha says Nia Jax nearly ended Bayley's career. Bayley says she cannot stop thinking about that moment, and says that tonight, she will make Nia Jax feel her pain.

Enzo Amore catches up with General Manager Kurt Angle backstage. He asks for a no-contest clause during his celebration, and if anyone in the Cruiserweight Divison touches him, they lose any chance at a title shot against him. Angle gives that clause to him so that nobody attacks Enzo during his celebration. He then tells Enzo that he is "annoying as hell."

Tomorrow night on 205 Live: Akira Tozawa vs. "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese!

Sasha Banks and Bayley beat Nia Jax and Emma.

Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman is made official for next week, as is Roman Reigns vs. The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Enzo Amore shows up for his Cruiserweight Championship celebration. Enzo says it was all a dream, and that dream became reality as he is the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Enzo talks about his morning. He woke up from his king-size bed, and saw the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on: the belt. He started reflecting on the last couple of months, as he has dealt with some real scrutiny. He says people are jealous of him like Big Cass is jealous, and that the last time he saw him, he was hobbling out of the arena. He says that he was the one holding Big Cass up. As for those who say he can't wrestle, all he can say is that he did it. He then pulls a black cloth off an easel, and behind it is a "Certified G" jersey under glass as he says that he made 205 Live relevant. All of a sudden, the rest of the 205 Live roster shows up, and Enzo says he sees a bunch of haters. Enzo is the pot calling the kettle black as he calls Rich Swann a champion-turned-dancing nobody. He says Cedric Alexander is "the man charisma forgot" and says Gran Metalik looks like he is over 205 lbs. Enzo says that he is glad Drew Gulak is in a suit and tie and not "Captain Underpants," then calls Jack Gallagher "tea cup." Suddenly, Neville shows up. seemingly looking like an emotional wreck. Enzo says Neville's crown is around the shoulder of a real man. Enzo goes on to make fun of Neville's ears, and tells Neville the truth hurts before dancing in the ring. Neville says Enzo Amore is right, and that the truth is brutal. He says the truth is so unbearable and toxic that he has alienated everyone he has come into contact with. Neville goes on to say that Enzo was dumped onto the Cruiserweight Division, and says he is nothing but a disgrace to 205 Live, as Enzo made of the Cruiserweight Division, 205 Live and even himself when he kicked him in the groin.. Neville says he is here on behalf of the Cruiserweight Division to end Enzo. He runs into the ring, but Enzo exercises his no-contact clause. Enzo reminds Neville that he never took part in the last hour of Raw as long as he had the Cruiserweight title, and says he is a star with merchandise sales and money that Neville cannot even touch. Enzo says Neville cannot even touch him when it comes to merchandise sales and money, and tells him to get out of the ring. Despite the no-contact clause, Neville attacks Enzo anyway in a fit of rage. Enzo tries to stumble away, but the rest of the Cruiserweight Division keeps him from getting away and moves him back towards Neville, who continues to beat the crap out of him. The rest of the Cruiserweight Division claps before Neville hits the Red Arrow.

After the show went off the air, Braun Strowman shows up, hits Enzo Amore with the running powerslam, then the entire Cruiserweight Division beats up Enzo.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 11, 2017

The show starts with a moment of silence in recognition of the World Trade Center attacks of September 11th, 2001 and in tribute to those who lost their lives in the attack. A brief message is shown on the TitanTron.

It is announced that Brock Lesnar is here tonight, and that Braun Strowman will take on John Cena tonight.

Roman Reigns beats Jason Jordan. John Cena is seen watching the match from backstage during the match. Jason Jordan and Roman Reigns shake hands after the match after Roman eschews it at the beginning. Charly Caruso interviews John Cena, who says he has something to say to Roman in the ring.

After the commercial break, John Cena shows up as Roman Reigns waits in the ring. He hands Roman a microphone, and says he is excited to hear what Roman has to say. Roman says he was having a great match with Jason Jordan - who gave him as much trouble as Cena - and that having great matches is something Cena knows nothing about. He says he has had more great matches in two years than Cena has had in his entire career. Cena tells Roman that he has skill, but he has his head up his ass like a one-man human centipede and that he does not run the place like he thinks he does. Cena also says that nobody has cut Roman down to size yet, and that is why he is here. Cena says he is not spinning things; instead, he is challenging himself every day to try everything, and says that Roman says and acts like he feels like he has made it in the WWE. Cena goes on to say that once you feel like you've made it in something, that is the beginning of the end, and that Roman will learn what real failure is all about. He has come out week after week to take Roman to school, and Roman keeps on failing. He says that "the guy" steps up, not fails over and over again, and if Roman really was "the guy," he will get up, dust himself off and take him at No Mercy, which he says will be a cakewalk at this point. He is about to leave when Roman tells him to "bring his bitch ass back here." He says that the WWE does not need Cena, as the WWE can make it without him, and that it is the other way around, saying that Cena needs WWE because he can't break into Hollywood. He tells Cena that he needs help and that he knows a guy. He goes on to tell Cena to say whatever he wants, and that it won't mean anything because he cannot back it up. Cena tells Roman that at No Mercy, he will be like a drug test, because Roman isn't getting past him.

Alexa Bliss guests on commentary for the next match.

Sasha Banks beats Emma with the Banks Statement. Nia Jax shows up during the match, and heads to the commentary table, having a bone to pick with Alexa Bliss. After the commercial break, she is also guesting on commentary.

We see a video package of the history between Big Show and Braun Strowman and their steel cage match from last week.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up. Heyman says his job tonight is to sell everyone on something that has already been sold. His client, Brock Lesnar, will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman, and for the first time since facing The Undertaker, the odds are against Brock Lesnar. After Heyman gets everyone up to speed on what Lesnar and Strowman have done to each other, he wants to know if Strowman is not only bigger and stronger than Lesnar, but if he is also better than Lesnar, and says that Braun Strowman will have to rip the Universal Championship from Lesnar's waist. Heyman then namedrops a who's who of Superstars who have taken on Cena, and says Cena is the next to step up to Strowman tonight. He wants to know if Cena is able to take on Strowman, and also if Strowman is able to cross the border to Suplex City. He then talks about how the referee asked "Fighter...are you ready?" when Brock was still in MMA and competed in "The Brocktagon," and says Braun doesn't want to wait until No Mercy and is currently looking for an excuse to fight Lesnar. He asks that question again, then tells Lesnar and Strowman to fight. It does not take long at all for Strowman to show up and brawl with Lesnar in the ring. Strowman almost hits a running powerslam, but Lesnar escapes it and hits Strowman with a release German Suplex. Braun Strowman gets up from that immediately, then choke slams Lesnar before hitting him with the running powerslam as soon as he gets back up. He then looks down at the Universal Championship, picks it up, looks at it and then lifts it up into the air before putting it on top of a downed Lesnar and leaving the ring.

The commentary team acknowledges the one-two punch of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma on America's Gulf Coast. WWE asks fans to donate whatever they can to the American Red Cross.

Before the next match, Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron. He says he has been watching Goldust for some time. He used to think Goldust was bizarre and different, but says he is now afraid and hides behind facepaint. He says that Goldust is just like Finn Balor, who uses facepaint as a weapon to protect himself from the truth. He then has advice for Goldust: run.

Bray Wyatt beats Goldust. After the match, Bray Wyatt wipes the facepaint off of Goldust's face with a washcloth, saying "He's just a man, just like Finn Balor!" Finn Balor rushes in, but

Charly Caruso interviews Sheamus and Cesaro. Sheamus says he and Cesaro see Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) as more of a threat than Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Cesaro says Gallows & Anderson are more of a team than Ambrose and Rollins, as it is easy to be a team when things are going your way. At No Mercy, Sheamus and Cesaro will drop "the bar" down on them, because Ambrose and Rollisn are both selfish and self-serving. Sheamus says they will turn to their instincts when the chips are down, and they will throw themselves to the wolves. Cesaro says that when this happens, he and Sheamus will tear them apart.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins guest on commentary for the next match, which is Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) versus Sheamus and Cesaro. However, that match ends before it can begin when Ambrose and Rollins brawl with Sheamus and Cesaro on the stage, with Gallows & Anderson jumping in. Referees and backstage officials have to break up the brouhaha.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are backstage with General Manager Kurt Angle. Rollins demands a match with "those guys" tonight. When Angle asks which guys, Ambrose says "all of 'em." Angle says he cannot put his tag team champions in such a dangerous situation, and tells them that he is willing to make the match if Ambrose and Rollins can find two other tag team partners. Ambrose says they will go to Disney World and recruit Batman and Mickey Mouse if they have to, but Angle tells Ambrose they have to be real people. Rollins tells Angle they will find some real people, and he and Ambrose leave. Angle comes to the realization that Batman would make a great tag team partner.

We see a vignette for former NXT Women's Champion Asuka, who is coming soon to Raw.

Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss are in the locker room, having seen the vignette for Asuka. Alexa feels that Asuka is coming to steal their thunder, and says that she and Nia Jax should have had their one-on-one match against each other for the Raw Women's Championship sooner. Alexa feels General Manager Kurt Angle does not appreciate the fact that they are best friends, but Nia Jax tells her that they are not best friends. Alexa apologizes to Nia for slapping her last week and not getting Nia her title opportunity sooner, and wants to be friends with her again, but Nia Jax then tells Alexa that she might not want to be friends with her again after what she has to say. She has met with Kurt Angle, and says that next week, they will finally have their one-on-one match.

Elias sings and plays guitar to mock the local Anaheim, California crowd - at one point rhyming "Mighty Ducks" with "Anaheim sucks" - until he is interrupted by Kalisto.

Elias beats Kalisto.

John Cena vs. Braun Strowman ends with Braun Strowman hitting Cena with a running powerslam into some steel steps in the center of the ring. Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, who has been watching this match from backstage. Roman says Strowman showed no mercy...and neither will he.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins meet two random guys who work backstage before coming across Dean Malenko and Jamie Noble on their search for tag team partners backstage. Their search when they come across The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy).

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's special guest is Enzo Amore. Before the show begins, The Miz announces that he and Maryse have a special announcement that will change Raw forever. Maryse announces that she and Miz are having a baby. They kiss, and Miz pledges that he will be there for their child since day one...unlike General Manager Kurt Angle. As he reads a poem about embracing fatherhood, Enzo shows up. Miz chews out Enzo for interrupting a deep personal moment, and tells him not to 'How you doin'?' his wife. Enzo says he doesn't think before he speaks. The Miz takes advantage of this and mentions the backstage heat that Enzo has as of late. Miz says Enzo is on 205 Live because nobody else can stand him...and that's coming from him. The Miz tells Enzo he can help him, as he has been in his shoes before and learned from it. He says that he sees so much talent in Enzo, but Enzo keeps mistake after mistake. Miz says Neville is more concerned about perfecting his craft while Enzo cares more about hanging with third-rate rappers, and it shows. Miz says Enzo no longer has a seven-foot-tall meal ticket in Enzo, and calls him a "con artist with a couple of catch phrases." Enzo says he is the realest guy in the room. He says he and Miz may have been in similar situations, but says Miz copied everybody to get where he is now. Enzo says he is original while Miz is a carbon copy of others. He says he will take the Cruiserweight title and coming back to Raw so he can beat Miz, as he calls Miz a paper champion. Miz tells Enzo that if he were really championship material, Big Cass would not have abandoned him. Enzo says he has all he needs to fight Miz right now: his two hands. Miz says Enzo has no idea what he is getting into and tells him he can teach him how to walk, talk and act like a champion before dedicating his win to his unborn child.

Enzo Amore beats The Miz by disqualification. During the match, Miz and Enzo talk trash at each other during the match. After Enzo tells The Miz to ask his unborn child "Who's your daddy?", he is attacked by The Miztourage (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel), ending the match. The crowd chants "Who's your daddy?" as Miz hits Enzo with the Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz and Maryse then kiss.

Enzo Amore comes across Neville backstage. Neville simply laughs and walks away.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat Sheamus, Cesaro and Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson).

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 10, 2017

Big Cass shows up to start tonight's show. Big Cass says he couldn't feel any better than after he took out five years of frustration on Enzo Amore last night, and brags about finishing him off with the big boot to the face. We then see footage of Enzo Amore being helped to the trainer's room after last night, and Cass says that everyone is on notice and that this is what happens when you mess with him. He tells everyone not to jump on the bandwagon if they have not already, because he is the future of WWE. As for all the doubters, he will one day win the WWE Universal Championship, shove it down everyone's throats, and make multiple media appearances and be on posters and banners while still champion as he continues to represent WWE to the fullest every day of his life because nobody can touch him and nobody is better than he is. Suddenly, Big Show appears as Big Cass says he is seven feet tall and on top of the mountain, and after Big Cass mouths off at him, he hits Cass with a headbutt before both men brawl, and Big Show continues to pound on Big Cass until the latter gets out of the ring.

Elias Samson is seen performing for the crowd, and sings about how he will knock Finn Balor down a peg or two tonight. Not surprisingly, Finn Balor interrupts.

Finn Balor beats Elias Samson. The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) meet up with Finn and congratulate him after the match before heading to the ring.

Before the next match, The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) talk about their 30-minute Iron Man Match with Sheamus and Cesaro last night, but they refuse to fade away and classify themselves as obsolete. Matt makes a proclamation: they are nowhere near done bringing magic to the WWE Universe. Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) show up and tell them they are the old Hardy Boyz, not the Hardy Boyz of old, and to get out of the ring for the ring belongs to them. Matt Hardy then challenges them to a match right now. They accept.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). After the match, The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) head to the ring and attack The Hardys.

It's time for Miz TV. The Miz, Maryse and The Miztourage (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) are in the ring to present "The Mizzies." Bo and Axel are co-winners of Best Supporting Actor for their role in last night's match. Bo thanks the crowd, then says this would never haveen possible without The Miz changing his life and his career. Axel says that thanks to The Miz, he will make a million dollars. Maryse wins a Mizzie for being the "Most Beautiful, Gorgeous, Sexy Leading Lady in the WWE." Maryse says she would not have accomplished everything without The Miz, and The Miz says the same of her before they make up. The Mizzie for "Greatest Man In WWE" goes not to Dean Ambrose, but to The Miz. The Miz says he would make the WWE Intercontinental Championship the most prestigious title in the company, and now he has after beating Dean Ambrose last night. He says that everyone gunning for other titles in the WWE last night, such as The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy), Akira Tozawa and Seth Rollins, were jokes and were just making noise. He then says that Ambrose was the toughest man he has ever been in the ring with, and quite possibly the toughest in WWE. Ambrose shows up and goes after The Miz, but The Miztourage catches up with him and Ambrose is the victim of a 3-on-1 beatdown until Seth Rollins rushes into the ring and fights them all off, making the save for Ambrose.

Goldust tells R-Truth he was not made for the spotlight, and even though he tried to ruin his premiere last week, Shattered Truth is a box office smash. Now he has to give the people want they want: an encore performance. While the sequel is never as good as the original, he plans to unleash The Shattered Truth, Part 2 soon.

After a brief recap of Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in an Ambulance Match from last night, it is reported that Kurt Angle will have an update on Braun Strowman later tonight.

Goldust beats R-Truth.

General Manager Kurt Angle shows up. He says that last night's event was a success, then talks about last night's Ambulance Match. He then brings out Brock Lesnar, who arrives with Paul Heyman. After mentioning how Lesnar beat him for the WWE Championship and how Lesnar gets better every year, Angle admits he thought Samoa Joe would win and is glad to be proven wrong. He congratulates Lesnar, then mentions that he has an announcement for whom Lesnar will defend the title against next. Heyman wants nothing to do with it, and is about to leave with Lesnar when Roman Reigns shows up. Angle tells Heyman they are not done yet, and that Roman has a lot of nerve after he went too far last night. Roman says he destroyed everything and blew everything up in the Attitude Era, but Angle says that was then and this is now. Roman tells him he didn't know how to handle Braun Strowman and was never around to, then makes it clear he wants a shot at the Universal title. Lesnar tells Roman he "doesn't deserve shit," then Samoa Joe shows up, saying it's time to drag people back to reality. Lesnar says the reality is that he beat his ass, but Joe tells him he didn't beat him; he merely escaped him. Also, Roman Reigns has never even beaten him. Heyman tells Joe that he is never getting another shot at the Universal title, and Joe tells Lesnar that Heyman is protecting Lesnar from him, as Heyman knows he has Lesnar's number. Roman jumps in on the insults as well, telling Joe to look at him and then to look at Braun Strowman if he can find him. Angle makes a match between them for next week where the winner faces Lesnar for the Universal title at SummerSlam, and to save it until then or else they will lose their title contendership match.

Corey Graves leaves the commentary table due to a text.

Corey Graves and General Manager Kurt Angle talk about the text that they have gotten, and Angle says he may have to go public with whatever is on the text next week...and possibly say goodbye at the same time. Graves tells Angle that this may not necessarily be so, and that he has all the confidence in the world that everything will be just fine.

Akira Tozawa and Cedric Alexander beat Neville and Noam Dar after Neville is crotched on the top rope and Tozawa kicks the top rope in an act of revenge. During the match, Graves returns to commentary, and refuses to comment on what is happening concerning General Manager Kurt Angle and the texts.

Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins, who says that he did not come out during The Mizzies to save Dean Ambrose and that it was only to shut The Miz up. As for Bray Wyatt, he is a fraud and a coward, and another man who cannot hang with him.

Bray Wyatt tells Seth Rollins that he is everywhere, and that he promises he will never deny him again as he will not be forgiven for his sins.

Bray Wyatt beats Seth Rollins after Rollins is blinded in one eye. After the match, Bray Wyatt disappears and The Miztourage (The Miz, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel) surround Rollins. Dean Ambrose rushes in with a steel chair and repeatedly smashes it into the back of The Miz. The Miztourage is forced to retreat.

General Manager Kurt Angle is seen on the phone with somebody backstage. He tells the person on the other end to come with him to the ring next week to reveal their secret, and that whatever happens, will happen.

Ric Flair said they "sound like the Horsemen." She then asks for forgiveness for even thinking that Sasha and Becky were even worthy of the "Horsewomen" name. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) start off the show as confetti flies around the arena. Big E takes a Terrible Towel and desecrates it in front of the Pittsburgh crowd by wiping his armpits with it before using it to blow his nose. They then reveal what they're celebrating: Sheamus becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Sheamus shows up in a suit and tie with the title around his waist, and proceeds to make fun of the crowd before crediting Triple H and Stephanie McMahon with his recent success. He then thanks the man he claims made it all possible: Roman Reigns. Sheamus and The New Day celebrate, and make fun of Roman Reigns for falling victim to the Brogue Kick at Survivor Series. Sheamus then declares that "Sheamus 5:15 just said I just kicked your arse!" Roman hands it back to them, but tells them that in two weeks' time, he's taking it back. Triple H then says that he has just talked with Sheamus, who has decided not to wait until TLC to defend the title and has opted instead to defend it tonight. Roman is game, and the match is one, but Stephanie McMahon says there is a caveat: if Roman does not beat Sheamus in five minutes and fifteen minutes, he doesn't win the title.

Dolph Ziggler beats Tyler Breeze.

Lana says she and Rusev patched everything up when he proposed to her, and that they never went all the way with Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae, respectively. After they kiss again, Ryback suddenly appears. He says that the WWE Universe is tired of all this garbage, and that Ziggler actually did go all the way. Ryback then declares it's feeding time. This starts a match.

He tells Ambrose that if Roman Reigns doesn't win the title in five minutes and fifteen seconds, not only does Roman Reigns lose his title opportunity, so does Ambrose. Triple H explains it away by saying he is doing this to drill into Roman's head that the choices he makes will also affect his friends.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) are in the ring. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman) have had them on the ropes as of late, and that they added insult to injury by putting them through tables. However, they didn't get the job done, according to Bubba Ray, and now they have put not just targets on their backs, but their names on four tables...literally. After D-Von says that The Wyatt Family has failed to remember the Dudley Boyz Commandments, Bubba Ray challenges the Wyatts to a match at TLC. Suddenly, the Family appears, and Bray Wyatt accepts the challenge, but tells the Dudleys that they may be in over their head. The Dudleys say that while the Wyatts may be a family, they have family, too. Suddenly, out comes Tommy Dreamer with a trash can full of weapons, and Dreamer and the Dudleys arm themselves. When the Wyatts try to get in the ring, Dreamer and the Dudleys start swinging, and the Wyatts are forced to retreat.

The New Day then brag about how they don't have to defend their titles afterwards.

Stephanie McMahon tells The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) they both have a tag team title shot against The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods)...but if Roman Reigns wins his match tonight, The Usos will lose their shot. Stephanie gives the same explanation as this for Triple H, saying that Roman's choices will also affect his entire family.
