Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 21, 2019
WWE celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up to start tonight's show. Heyman mentions Finn Balor pinning John Cena and getting the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship last week, and says this was no fluke and that there was no controversy. He says that Finn Balor seized the moment to the point that John Cena took the microphone and said he believed in him, and that so did the fans. Heyman says he believes in Finn Balor, as well, and says that Finn's career is seizing of moments. He says Royal Rumble is yet another moment for Finn Balor, who believes that he will become the WWE Universal Champion, and while Finn's voice is "the voice that matters," his is "the voice that martyrs." Heyman promises that Lesnar will turn Finn Balor into a martyr who is sacrificed for the sin of making the people believe he can beat Lesnar and take the Universal title, saying even miracles fear Brock Lesnar. He says that at Royal Rumble, when Lesnar puts the ridiculous notion that Finn Balor belongs in the ring with him to bed, Finn will be on his back saying he believes in Brock Lesnar. Suddenly, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon shows up and compliments Heyman on his promoting skills, then brings up the Biblical parable of David and Goliath and compares Finn Balor to David. He says that if any fan in the world believes Finn Balor can beat Brock Lesnar, they believe in fairy tales. Suddenly, Brock Strowman shows up. Vince asks Strowman what he is doing as Lesnar gets up close to Strowman as if to taunt him. Vince has to tell Lesnar to stop playing with him, then Strowman blames his troubles from last week on Baron Corbin. He then says that Monday ended up being lucky for Lesnar as well, and if Lesnar still has the WWE Universal Championship after Royal Rumble, he will rip him apart like one of Vince's limousines. Finn Balor then shows up and talks about his big win from last week, saying he earned his title shot, and while Vince doesn't believe he can win, he and the fans do, and at Royal Rumble, he will beat Lesnar and reclaim the Universal Championship. Strowman says he knows he can beat Lesnar, and while he doesn't know if Finn Balor, he'd "damn well better." Finn tells Strowman to stay out of his business, as he will soon do something Strowman has never done. Finn Balor then tells Vince he got the story mixed up, saying that the people laughed in David's face because they didn't know who he was or what he was capable, and Goliath fell face down into dirt. He then says nobody was laughing then. Vince asks Heyman and Lesnar to stay at ringside for the next match: Finn Balor vs. Braun Strowman.
Finn Balor beats Braun Strowman by disqualification. Brock Lesnar gets on the apron and stares down Strowman from the apron, but Finn yanks him off and drop kicks him into the steel post before getting back in the ring and hitting Lesnar with a tope con hiro. Strowman chases Finn around the ring and hits Sling Blade before drop kicking Lesnar, once from inside the ring and again on the outside into the barricade. Strowman then grabs Finn out of the ring and tosses him in from the apron, but Finn avoids Strowman's onslaught and hits the Coup De Grace. Lesnar then gets in the ring and hits Finn with an F5, ending the match.
Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush show up. Rush says that Lashley is not only better than Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, but everyone else in the locker room. He says they are not here for open challenges, saying they are "for kids," and that Lashley is a professional fighter. He says that he and Lashley do this for the money, not the fun, then Lashley stands on the podium in the center of the ring so Lio Rush can place the Intercontinental Championship around Lashley's waist. Lashley is about to start posing when Apollo Crews shows up. Apollo congratulates Lashley on winning the Intercontinental title, then says that while Lashley is a stud, people paid to see him compete, not pose. He then challenges Lashley to a match. Lio Rush says Apollo is not even in his league, and proposes that if Apollo can beat Lashley in a pose-off, he can get a match. Apollo says he doesn't know how to pose, and Rush says Apollo doesn't know how to be a champion, either. Apollo takes Lio Rush up on the pose-off challenge. Lashley goes first, followed by Apollo. As both men take turns, it becomes obvious that Apollo has a more positive reaction from the crowd. This does not sit well with Lio Rush, and he and Lashley try to get a cheap shot only to be upended by Apollo.
Bobby Lashley beats Apollo Crews with a Spear as Apollo has Lio Rush in a military press. After the match, Seth Rollins shows up and stares down with Lashley in the ring before entering the ring for his match with Drew McIntyre.
Seth Rollins is in the ring. He says that we can learn a lot from Martin Luther King, Jr., and quotes him, saying that the measure of a man is where he stands in the face of challenge and controversy. He says it was not long ago that he had two titles and two brothers by his side, but now he has no titles and a broken family. He says we must focus on what we have, not what we don't, and he still has his first and last love: wrestling. Rollins says that as long as he has a ring under his feet, a microphone in his hand and a fire in his heart, he will win the men's Royal Rumble match. He admits that winning the match is a long shot, but he does not give a damn, for his whole life is a long shot, and while he is not as big and powerful as Drew McIntyre or Bobby Lashley and from a Midwestern town with working class roots, the ring is the only reason he is not doing anything else in his life. He says that wrestling is ingrained in his soul, and while it is a long shot, he will prevail at the men's Royal Rumble. Drew McIntyre shows up and tells Rollins he will kick his head off and beat him tonight, but after hearing what he has said, he says he will not stand idly by while Rollins lies to himself and the people, as Rollins will not win the men's Royal Rumble. He says that Rollins will lose due to his wrestling style, and said that if you took Rollins' heart and put it in a 6'5" terminator, you would get Drew McIntyre. Drew then says he hopes and prays that they are in the ring together at the men's Royal Rumble so he can look up at him as it is announced that Rollins is eliminated and that McIntyre is the winner of the men's Royal Rumble match.
Seth Rollins beats Drew McIntyre with a surprise schoolkid pin.
Backstage, The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) state their case to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon for another opportunity at the Raw tag team titles with a decent referee. Curt Hawkins shows up wanting another match, but Vince tells him he has lost too much and proposes that Hawkins be the ref for The Revival's match.
Backstage, we hear from Dean Ambrose, who mentions Seth Rollins' pre-match stage before saying that Martin Luther King Jr. once said that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice anywhere. He says he cannot wait to see Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins in the men's Royal Rumble match so he can hurt them and send them over the top rope in revenge for costing him the Intercontinental Championship. He says that 2018 was not his year after he ran himself into the ground, and says that the men's Royal Rumble will be his shining moment. He says that come Sunday, justice will be served.
The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado) beat Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh).
We see a vignette for EC3, then go backstage and see EC3 pose in a mirror. Dana Brooke is seen talking to him as Elias heads to the ring.
Elias is in the ring. He plays guitar, then says 2019 will be an incredible year. He says that there will be many rivers to cross and mountains to climb after the men's Royal Rumble, the truth that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias" will bring everyone back home. Elias then announces that tonight, he has written a song that might be his finest yet. Before he can perform it, however, Baron Corbin interrupts and tells Elias to stop talking. He then tells the crowd to shut up only to get booed, and says Elias almost got him killed when he ratted him out to Braun Strowman. He asks the crowd what is wrong with them when they cheer upon hearing this, and the crowd tells Corbin that he sucks. Corbin counters by saying that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was right when he said there were hillbillies in the crowd, then tells Elias he is going to put him in his place. Elias tells Corbin he is no longer General Manager of Raw, and proceeds to play a song. Corbin tells his sound guy Lance to kill Corbin's microphone, and Corbin can no longer be heard as Elias tells Corbin he has a front row seat to an Elias concert. Elias proceeds to mock Corbin through song, saying that nobody cares about Corbin and that Corbin got fired. Corbin runs into the ring, but quickly rolls back out when Elias swings his guitar at him.
Baron Corbin beats Elias.
It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Alexa Bliss announces the participants for this year's women's Royal Rumble. She then introduces tonight's guest, Nia Jax. Nia shows up and asks who Nia will pick if she wins this year's women's Royal Rumble match. Before Nia can answer, Ember Moon shows up and snatches the microphone out of Nia's hand, saying she is tired of waiting for an invitation that would never come to say that she will win the women's Royal Rumble. Alicia Fox shows up, takes the microphone and says she will win the Royal Rumble match. Mickie James shows up and makes the same claim. As all four women fight over the microphone, other women shows up. Alexa stands on the chair and says enough is enough. She says that this is her show, and if her show turns into a brawl, they will make themselves look stupid and ruin her reputation as a talk show host. Alexa telss everyone to calm down, but the brawl happens on the stage anyway. Referees quickly move into place to try to separate everyone. The brawl then spills its way backstage, then Alexa says that everyone in the women's Royal Rumble match is passionate before announcing that she will be in the match itself. Suddenly, Lacey Evans shows up and takes the microphone. She calls the women's division "a bunch of nasty, classless little girls" before stating that the winner of the women's Royal Rumble will not be "a sawed-off, girly runt." Lacey Evans, who calls herself a classy, sophisticated lady, proclaims that she will win the women's Royal Rumble match.
We hear from Titus O'Neil, who says that he is going to win the men's Royal Rumble as a backstage worker walks past in comical fashion.
Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic) beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) in their main roster debut.
Bobby Roode and Chad Gable retain The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) after special guest referee Curt Hawkins sees every breaking of the rules and refuses to allow The Revival to win via dirty tricks. After the match, The Revival attack Curt Hawkins. Zack Ryder runs out from backstage and fends off The Revival to make the save for Hawkins. Ryder helps Hawkins up and stands side-by-side with his former tag team partner.
Backstage, Dasha Fuentes interviews "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey, who says that she doesn't owe Sasha Banks anything, much less an apology. She says there is a big difference between a boss and a champion, and on Sunday, The Boss will answer to the champ.
Before the next match, Sasha Banks asks "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey who she says she is, and says she earned her accomplishment while Ronda was handed everything. She says the world knows she is a worthy competitor, and that she will make her tap out Sunday. This touches a nerve with Ronda, and Natalya, Bayley and the referee all have to keep Ronda and Sasha from tearing each other apart before the bell rings.
Sasha Banks and Bayley beat "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Natalya with a Banks Statement to Natalya.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for February 6, 2018
Commissioner Shane McMahon starts tonight's show. Shane says he would be ecstatic about tonight's main event, but he is not, as the match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will have immense ramifications as the winner will face "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. He does not feel that Owens or Sami deserve another shot at the WWE title, but there is someone who does, and that person is General Manager Daniel Bryan, whom he introduces to the ring. Shane says SmackDown Live is the land of opportunity, and that he and Daniel both signed on for that. They also agreed that they would listen to the fans, and says that when the fans feel somebody deserves an opportunity, it is up to them to decide if they deserve it. Shane feels that Daniel Bryan is not listening. The fans chant "Rusev Day!," and Shane says "Duly noted." He then says Daniel Bryan is not listening because he keeps giving Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn opportunities. He says that the fans feel that somebody else deserves the opportunity. Daniel Bryan says the referee made a mistake in the 2-on-1 Handicap Match at Royal Rumble, and he has made it up to him by pitting Owens and Sami against each other. Daniel Bryan says he thought Shane would give him a pay raise, but Shane tells him not to get too carried away. Shane says he looks forward to the main event, but what bothers him is Daniel's decision to reward that with a WWE title shot yet again. He finds it difficult to figure out why Daniel Bryan keeps giving Owens and Sami opportunity after opportunity. He understand what Daniel Bryan has done here, and says he has changed the WWE landscape with the Yes Movement. Although Daniel Bryan has had a similar career path to Owens and Sami, he is not Owens and Sami, and that the Yep Movement is a cheap imitation of the Yes Movement, and tells Daniel Bryan not to let them manipulate him anymore. He knows that Daniel Bryan feels for them, and that Daniel Bryan would like to compete in the ring again more than anything else. Daniel Bryan stops Shane, asking him what he thinks he is doing. Shane says it is obvious that Daniel Bryan is trying to live vicariously through Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Suddenly, AJ Styles shows up. Styles says that since last month, he has traveled 10,000 miles defending the WWE Championship and competing at the highest level because that is what he does. He says he was put on the planet to be phenomenal. Styles says he can deal with the trials and tribulations that come with it, and that he was built for the grind. What he cannot deal with, however, is SmackDown Live obsessing over Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. He is not just talking about Daniel Bryan, but also Shane McMahon, as every time they make a decision involving Owens and Sami, it involves him. He does not care who wins between Owens and Sami in tonight's main event, as SmackDown Live is the house that AJ Styles built. He tells Shane and Daniel to stay out of his way, as he controls his own destiny and is heading through Fastlane and towards WrestleMania as WWE Champion.
The New Day eat pancakes and answer fan questions on Twitter in the locker room.
Backstage, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles runs into "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura tells him he will beat him at WrestleMania, then walks away. Styles shrugs it off.
Charlotte Flair beats Liv Morgan with the Figure Eight after Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan are ejected from the match for getting involved. After the match, Charlotte tells commentary "One down...two to go."
Renee Young is in front of Kevin Owens' dressing room door when Owens comes out. Owens says it is up to Sami Zayn and whether or not Sami can handle losing to him if their friendship endures.
The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) beat two unnamed opponents. After the match, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) show up. The Usos give The Bludgeon Brothers almost the same treatment that The Bludgeon Brothers gave them last week, and walk past The Bludgeon Brothers as they enter the ring for the next match.
Before the next match, The Usos tell the crowd about what being locked down is all about. Instead of the traditional prison system experience, they talk about a state of mind, where the prison is mental instead of physical. They talk about the hunger of success and the thirst of being in the spotlight, as well as how nobody paid attention to them until they dropped their facepaint and bright colors for their current appearance.
The first-ever SmackDown Live Top 10 List is here.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) is not happy about placing 6th on the SmackDown Live Top 10.

We hear from Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, who call Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) "buffoons in costumes" and "clowns solving mysteries." They want to bring prestige back to the SmackDown Live tag team division, and wonder why Breezango is still part of it. If Breezango have the jokes, they have the punchlines. Last week, they targeted Breezango. This week, they target The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). That match is next.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for January 9, 2018
Renee Young interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles in the ring to start tonight's show. Styles says that every time he steps foot in the ring, he takes pride in what he does in it. He is human and makes mistakes, and says he was trying to be sarcastic only for General Manager Daniel Bryan to take him seriously. There is a chance he can lose the WWE Championship, but there is a chance that he can beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. He must hit them hard and fast, but Sami and Owens know what they are doing, and the longer the match, the better their chances of winning. As for whether or not Daniel Bryan's decision was fair, he says it was not, but neither is life. He says Sami and Owens have non-title victories over him, but that does not mean they both deserve a title shot in the same match on SmackDown Live. As for whether or not Daniel Bryan is playing favorites, he doesn't know what Daniel Bryan is thinking, and he is not going to point fingers as far as what Commissioner Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are dealing with. He cannot allow Sami and Owens to take the WWE Championship from him, and he has to beat them in the same night to retain. When that happens, there will be no doubt that SmackDown Live is the house that AJ Styles built. Before Styles can finish that statement, however, Sami and Owens show up. Owens asks the crowd to give Styles an ovation, but feels he and Sami should call him "The Regretful" or "The Remorseful" AJ Styles instead of "The Phenomenal," and says Styles is trying to backtrack from what he said last week. He says it will take a miracle for Styles to beat them both simultaneously, and Heaven does not give miracles to people like him, as he has no chance of walking out with the WWE Championship. When all is said and done, they will be the first-ever co-WWE Champions. They plan to turn "The house that AJ Styles built" into "The Kevin and Sami Show" and do whatever they want. As Sami and Owens lead a "Yep!" chant, Shane McMahon shows up. Shane says he will have to go with AJ Styles on this one, and admits the match is not fair. He is puzzled that Daniel Bryan would make such a match and why he would allow Sami and Owens another opportunity to become WWE Champion. Be that as it may, he has to back Daniel Bryan's decision to have the match at Royal Rumble for now. On the subject of handicap matches, he might as well have such a match right here tonight. Tonight, Sami and Owens will team up to take on "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Backstage, Commissioner Shane McMahon meets with General Manager Daniel Bryan, who has heard what Shane has said. He thanks Shane for making a great handicap match for tonight.
Charlotte Flair and Naomi stand in Becky Lynch's corner for the next match.
Becky Lynch beats Ruby Riott with the Dis-Arm-Her in her first match since returning from injury. She celebrates in the ring with Naomi and Charlotte Flair afterwards.
It is announced that Becky Lynch will be teaming with Sami Zayn in WWE Mixed Match Challenge.
We see footage from the newest clip of The Fashion Files, where The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) find out they're not getting back-up from Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) in their match tonight, as Breezango have a match of their own.
The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) quickly beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). After the match, Konnor checks on Viktor only to be decimated.
Bobby Roode guests at ringside for the next match.
Mojo Rawley beats Zack Ryder to advance in the United States Championship Tournament. After the match, Bobby Roode gets in the ring and stares down with Mojo Rawley. Mojo backs away, pointing at Roode, then leaves the ring.
Jinder Mahal says that he defined 2017. For 185 days, he was WWE Champion. Nobody thought it was possible or that he was deserving of the title...except himself. As 2018 begins, he has his eyes on the United States title. He beat "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger in Round 1, and he will beat Xavier Woods in Round 2. He hopes that Woods knows how to play Taps on the Trombone, for he has already lost. He says Woods is a fad, while he is forever.
We look back on September 28, 1998, when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin rode the zamboni and got Vince McMahon.
It is announced that Natalya will be teaming with "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura in WWE Mixed Match Challenge.
Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable show up. Gable asks if anybody knows what it takes to be a winner - the hours of training and neglecting family and friends - and become a success and show that the risks paid off and life means something. He says that if you're willing to make the sacrifice, you can hold the titles above your head. Shelton Benjamin tells the crowd that just because The University of Alabama won a national championship, that does not mean the fans won as they simply just sat there. He then goes on to say that Georgia was robbed due to a bad referee call, just like him and Gable were robbed of the SmackDown Tag Team Championships last week. Gable says they beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) in the ring last week and set the tag titles free from the Uso Penitentiary, when suddenly, another referee who was not part of the match shows up. As he speaks, the crowd chants "Roll Tide." They go on to say that this referee was in the match due to jealousy, and that this referee has no idea what it takes to be a winner. They say that man is no hero, that he is a thief. Shelton and Gable then say a crime was committed, and they want justice. They want the SmackDown tag team titles, because they beat The Usos and lost to instant replay. They then demand this referee come to the ring. Instead of the referee, Shelton and Gable get General Manager Daniel Bryan. Daniel says he understand the euphoria of thinking you won, and understands when you work so hard for something only for it to be taken away from you. He does not care what they say about The Usos, but there are some cold, hard rules that the roster needs to understand. He says the referee's decision is final, but Shelton insists he and Gable won the match and the tag titles. Daniel Bryan says the referee was doing the right thing after finding out he made a mistake, and management stands behind him. Gable does not care, that Daniel Bryan is taking his anger out on them, that they have beaten The Usos and won the title. He sarcastically asks if they have to beat them twice in one time. This gives Daniel an idea. At Royal Rumble, they will face The Usos again in a two-out-of-three falls match for the SmackDown tag team titles.
In the locker room, Randy Orton and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles have a conversation. Orton asks Styles to trust him when he says they're on the same page tonight, but when he wins the Men's Royal Rumble Match, he will come for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura soon joins them, and says "Not so fast." He touches the title, then says "Good talk," and leaves.
Before the next match, Aiden English announces through song that he and Rusev are officially in the Men's Royal Rumble match - which Rusev asks English to call the "Rusev Rumble" - and that they will on Rusev Day.
Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) get a surprise win on Rusev and Aiden English after Tyler Breeze manages to distract Rusev.
Backstage, Commissioner Shane McMahon meets with General Manager Daniel Bryan. Shane tells Daniel Bryan that they are not on the same page given the matches Daniel Bryan has made so far for Royal Rumble. Shane does not like the idea of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as co-WWE Champions, and says Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable should not have another opportunity at the SmackDown tag team titles. Shane thinks Daniel Bryan is coming off as a bit unstable, but Daniel says he can say the same of Shane. Shane says it is best to agree to disagree, and leaves Daniel alone.
You can vote for Carmella's partner among the three members of The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) at the Mixed Match Challenge Facebook. The winner will be announced at noon Eastern Time.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Randy Orton and "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. During the match, Sami and Owens then head up the ramp to get away from the match, but Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up. Shane then makes the match a no count-outs match, then demands the match be restarted. Later, after Kevin Owens gets himself and Sami Zayn disqualified by Owens using a steel chair, Shane shows up again, and makes the match no-disqualificaton and anything goes. After this, Styles chases Owens to the back, and Nakamura and Owens then have their way with Sami.
Charlotte Flair and Naomi stand in Becky Lynch's corner for the next match.
Becky Lynch beats Ruby Riott with the Dis-Arm-Her in her first match since returning from injury. She celebrates in the ring with Naomi and Charlotte Flair afterwards.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for February 14, 2017
Bray Wyatt starts tonight's show. Sister Abigail told him that this would not easy, and that they would lie to him and denounce him and steal his gift. He can now say that he finally has "the whole damn world in my hands." He goes on to say that too much power can be a scary thing, not for him, but for the fans, whom he promises to lead to paradise as he says that all who stand in his way will burn. He welcomes the WWE Universe to the Era of Wyatt. John Cena shows up, acknowledges the crowd's excitement, then congratulates Bray Wyatt on winning the WWE Championship as well as "brainwashing the fans," implying that he has brainwashed them into saying he deserves the title. Cena says people aren't handed things in WWE; instead, they have to earn them, and that the WWE Championship is a big target on his shoulder and the entire world is looking at it. They have a rematch for the title, but Cena wants to get it over with right now. AJ Styles shows up and says Cena's not getting his rematch before him, calling his rematch "line-jumping" and saying that this is bout him, not Cena, who he says has a private plane and doesn't live like regular people. Styles says he knows he can beat both Cena and Wyatt, and demands his one-on-one rematch for the WWE Championship right now. General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up, congratulates Bray Wyatt on winning the WWE Championship, then acknowledges that Cena and Styles are both owed a rematch for the WWE Championship and that a WWE Championship match has been advertised to the fans. He makes official a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship between John Cena, AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt.

General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up and asks what the problem is. Ambrose says he wants Corbin, but at the same time, Ellsworth and Carmella have a problem with him. Daniel Bryan understands what's going on and knows Ambrose needs to take his aggression out on somebody, so he puts Ambrose and Ellsworth in a match tonight, knowing that the two of them still have some unfinished business.
Before the next match, James Ellsworth demands respect for Carmella and introduces her. When Dean Ambrose's music hits, however, Baron Corbin is seen dragging Dean Ambrose to the stage, and he and Ambrose brawl next to it. Corbin hits a Deep Six on Ambrose into some production gear.

He says that Daniel Bryan is not doing a good job. He says that Kevin Owens had a title handed to him, while he wants to earn one. He wants to keep putting beatings on anyone who wants a piece of him on SmackDown, and that he's bred to be tough and will accept nothing but first place.
During the pre-show, Charly Caruso reports that The Miz and Maryse are in the arena, and that The Miz is in high spirits due to being back home and because of his recent win at Backlash. Carmella also had choice words for Nikki Bella. Becky Lynch is also reported to be in in-ring action tonight.
