Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 29, 2013

Ricardo Rodriguez beats Big E Langston and Zeb Colter. Teddy Long made the match, and whomever won the match got to name the stipulations for the World Heavyweight title match at Extreme Rules.

John Cena injured his Achilles tendon during the recent European tour, but he's not missing Raw tonight.

John Cena makes the wish of a boy born with half a heart come true. Nick Santillo, friends and family stand on the ramp with Cena as part of Make-A-Wish's World Wish Day. All three kids are made honorary WWE Superstars.

Randy Orton beats Cody Rhodes in a hectic match. Matt Striker interviews Orton after the match, and Orton hasn't felt more extreme since Big Show betrayed him and Sheamus at WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes tries to attack Orton from behind, but Orton makes him pay with another RKO.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) aren't impressed with the other Divas.

Brie Bella beats Naomi with some Twin Magic...or so she thinks. Cameron tells the ref that Brie and Nikki Bella cheated, and Naomi gets the win by disqualification. The Bellas become angry and attack The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) in response.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) enter the ring and talk about the roll they've been on ever since they've entered the WWE. After a video package of them destroying The Undertaker, 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal) show up and want a fight. They get one and get creamed, and Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) get into the ring. The Shield flee, leaving 3MB at Team Hell No's (lack of) mercy.

As John Cena gets his ankle taped up, Ryback meets up with him. Cena bets Ryback he's as good on one leg as Ryback is on two, but Ryback says he wouldn't take that chance during their tag match against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) tonight.

Antonio Cesaro will use his rematch clause for the United States title against Kofi Kingston later this week on Main Event.

Dolph Ziggler beats Kofi Kingston in a Champion vs. Champion match. Big E Langston gives Kofi the Big Ending...twice.

Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox meet Ryback. Ryback is sick of John Cena deserting him against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns). Vickie wants to make the match a 6-man tag match between The Shield vs Ryback and Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan), but Ryback says no. He'll do it himself.

Everyone gets Domino's Pizza. Seriously.

Zack Ryder razzes Zeb Colter for losing earlier tonight.

Jack Swagger beats Zack Ryder with the Patriot Lock...then Zeb Colter gets a cheap shot on Ryder.

Matt Striker tries to interview Ryback...who is leaving the arena. Uh-oh. Who will be in the match against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns)?

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry comes to the ring and has asked Vickie Guerrero for two opponents. He gets them, alright. The first opponent is Tensai...but it's not a regular match, it's a game of tug-of-war, hence the rope Henry had before the break. Tensai is no sweat, and his other opponent is Brodus Clay, who falls just as quickly. Sheamus shows up and challenges Henry. Henry doesn't want any part in this, but Sheamus says he's afraid. This starts another tug-of-war game...and Sheamus lets go of the rope as Henry pulls with all of his might! Henry then eats a Brogue Kick.

Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero let Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) fight The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) in a handicap match. Vickie then asks Brad to do one last thing for her...

John Cena meets Brad Maddox. Cena tells Brad to tell Vickie to put him in the match as Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) will need a partner against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns).

Alberto Del Rio beats Antonio Cesaro with the Cross Arm Breaker, then picks the stipulation for the World title match at Extreme Rules: it's a Ladder Match!

The Great Khali and Fandango are in the ring for a dance-off. Khali says he's better than Chris Jericho. He and Natalya dance, then Fandango and Summer Rae have a go. Khali and Natalya win, and Fandango assaults Khali.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat John Cena and Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) after Cena's ankle fails him before he can perform the Attitude Adjustment. Ryback, who is originally thought to have left the arena, stares at Cena from the top of the entrance ramp.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for April 25, 2013

Security tries to stop Aces and Eights, but Bully Ray bullies them out of the way.

James Storm is in the ring. He says he got a good fight out of AJ Styles, whom he finds in the audience. He tells Aces and Eights that if they wanted a fight, they should have asked. He calls them out, but Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) show up and say they've been victims of those guys, too. They say Hulk Hogan may not have the answer to Aces and Eights, but they do...and the answer is four...Fortune Four. They want AJ to join them, but even James Storm isn't buying it. Kazarian calls Storm irrelevant, and this causes Storm to flip out and go at it with them only to get floored. Aces and Eights then show up and try to put Storm through a table, but Joseph Park rushes to the ring. He tries to take down Aces and Eights only to metaphorically take a bullet. Bully Ray tells them to hold up as he and Devon want him for getting into "family business." They then put Park through the table with a 3D - a Dudley Death Drop. It's the first one since Devon and Bully Ray originally split.

After the break, Bully Ray tells the audience that Aces and Eights aren't fooling around. He called out Hulk Hogan last week...and says Hulk has until the end of the show to respond to his challenge.

Mickie James tells TNA interviewers "It's about damn time I shine," concerning her match against Velvet Sky for the Knockouts title.

Hulk Hogan has no time for interviews...

Robbie E wants Jesse to take out Rob Terry, and also wants to be in his corner.

Even with Robbie E, Jesse still couldn't beat Rob Terry.

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) want Bobby Roode to reunite with them and reform Fortune Four. Austin Aries eavesdrops on the conversation from near a doorway...

We see a video package for Chris Sabin, who is coming back to the X Division after several months off due to a knee injury. Hail Sabin!

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) guest on commentary for the next match.

Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez retain the TNA Tag Team Championships against Bobby Roode and Austin Aries after the interference attempts of Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) fail miserably.

Matt Morgan heads to the ring after talking about how Hulk Hogan is signing his death warrant against Bully Ray tonight.

Matt Morgan enters the ring and talks about how he can't get his way because Hulk Hogan is one big bunch of mistakes. He has a solution concerning Aces and Eights, and calls out Hogan so he can explain it. Hogan shows up. He wants to take on Bully Ray in exchange for a World title shot. Hulk believes in him, but sees right through what he's trying to do and says Morgan is in this for the wrong reasons. He declines and says he'll get all this done himself.

Aces and Eights laugh about the 3D to Joseph Park as well as Hulk Hogan taking on Bully Ray tonight. Bully asks the club to let him take care of this himself.

Velvet Sky retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Mickie James with a roll-up, despite taking damage to her injured knee.

Bully Ray and Devon talk about taking down Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan has a moment with his daughter, Brooke Hogan. Brooke doesn't want him to do this, but Hulk knows he has to.

Bully Ray comes to the ring and rattles off all the names of those that Aces and Eights have taken down. He calls out Hulk Hogan. Hogan shows. They stare each other down. Bully says Hulk is scared of him. Hulk says otherwise, and that Hulkamania will never die. Another staredown occurs. Hulk gets emotional at first, and Bully turns his back with glee...but Hulk rip his shirt. Both men point at each other in typical Hulkster fashion before Hulk punches Bully, who bails out as Aces and Eights come out to the ring. Bully orders Aces and Eights to surround him, but the lights go out. When they come back on, Sting is in the ring pointing his bat at a cornered Hogan. He turns around and pushes the hat off Bully Ray's head with the bat. Hulk and Sting clean house, but Sting points the bat at Hogan again before walking away. What will the tension between Sting and Hogan lead to? Stay tuned!

We see a trailer for No One Lives, a new movie featuring Brodus Clay.

Mick Foley enters the ring with the steel chair John Cena gave him. He doesn't want to get into a confrontation, but he just might enter one. Since Ryback wants Foley to say what he wants to say about him to his face, Foley basically says "Here I am." Ryback shows up, and questions why Foley thinks the chair will help him. Foley has always gotten back up when nobody was there for him instead of spouting statistics, and knows Ryback can win the WWE title...but he can't do it by walking away. Ryback tells Foley to shut up and keep his nose out of everyone's business like he does every year, then says that he sent the message to Cena, that he got the title match, and that he will soon become WWE Champion. He then questions why Foley thinks the chair will help him, then Foley says "You tell me," before wielding it. Ryback tosses the chair away as he tells Foley to look at him, and both men are about to go at it. Cena runs in and stops both men, and Foley gets out of the ring as Cena and Ryback stare each other down. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) shows up, and Cena appears to leave Ryback high and dry by standing on the apron before apparently leaving. As The Shield beat down Ryback, Cena runs back in with the chair he gave to Foley and demolishes The Shield, who quickly retreat. Cena and Ryback stare each other down, and Cena discards the chair before hitting Ryback with the Attitude Adjustment to close out the show.

It should be mentioned the crowd tried to give the post-WrestleMania New Jersey crowd from the Izod Center show a few weeks back a run for their money. Heck, some of the same chants were used, and The Wave was also performed in the audience.

Adam Pearce and Magno's fates are decided next!

Adam Pearce is eliminated from Gut Check. Magno's fate will be decided later tonight.

Hulk Hogan is ready to deal with AJ Styles...who constantly has to deal with Mr. Anderson and the "cut."

Hulk Hogan enters the ring. He calls out AJ Styles. When Styles gets fresh with Hogan's ultimatum, "The Cowboy" James Storm shows up and wants to fight Styles. Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) show up and try to talk Styles into joining neither Hogan or Aces and Eights, and want him to tag along with them. AJ Styles walks away again, and Hulk Hogan puts Styles in a match against Storm next week as a result.

Kurt Angle has asked Hulk Hogan for a handicap match against Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff. It's happening next week!

Rob Terry beats Joey Ryan.

Hulk Hogan asks for his daughter Brooke Hogan to join him later at ringside. Matt Morgan then shows up and throws Hogan's mistakes in his face.

Magno tried, but he doesn't get the contract.

Aces and Eights cause a ruckus outside. Bully Ray wants to retain his title alone, and the rest of the club stands by him.

Bully Ray clocks Jeff Hardy with a hammer Tazz gives him to climb up the ladder and retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a Full Metal Mayhem match.

Wednesday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for April 10, 2013

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) beats Kofi Kingston and Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai). After the match, Kingston is tossed into the barricade as Tons of Funk both get triple-powerbombed by The Shield.

Matt Striker interviews Dolph Ziggler...or so he thinks, until Big E Langston shows up instead and produces a rather hilarious interview. He's not happy about losing at WrestleMania, but he's won his Raw debut and he was there when Ziggler cashed in Monday night.

Big E Langston squashes Zack Ryder.

Zeb Colter namedrops the Boston Tea Party and the Battle of Bunker Hill (tonight's Main Event is in Boston, Massachusetts), before bashing Boston for playing hockey, a "Canadian sport." Then Yoshi Tatsu shows up. Zeb Colter asks him a few elementary questions about his name and origin...and makes fun of both Japanese food and chopsticks. He then apologizes to him and sticks out his hand in friendship. They actually shake hands. He then bows to Yoshi, and Yoshi does the same...only to get kicked by Swagger.

Jack Swagger beats Yoshi Tatsu with the Patriot Lock.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 8, 2013

John Cena stars the show at the IZOD Center in New Jersey off by having fun with the crowd as part of his post-WrestleMania celebration, which also comes with him defending the title tonight against any and all comers. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry shows up and challenges him. Cena tells him he's got the match, but Booker T shows up and says The Rock is still #1 contender for the match and is entitled to a rematch, even though he is currently injured. Nevertheless, the match is still on, and Mark Henry can also get a title shot if and only if he can beat Cena. (The crowd also starts chanting "Sexual chocolate," which leads into a "They want to have sex with chocolate" joke from Cena. This is far from the last time that night that the crowd would chant things that are...rather interesting.)

Big E Langston beats Daniel Bryan in his Raw debut with interference from AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler. Kane tries to help, but it doesn't do anything.

Wade Barrett beats The Miz in a rematch from last night to win back the WWE Intercontinental Championship!

Sheamus gets with Vicki Guerrero and Brad Maddox, and asks for a match against Big Show after what happened last night. He gets it.

Randy Orton gets with Booker T, and wants a match tonight against Big Show. Booker T knows that Vicki made a match between Show and Sheamus, but Orton tells him he's a Hall of Famer and can overrule her. After thinking about it for a few seconds, he makes the match.

Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger asks the crowd for their support before their match.

Alberto Del Rio beats Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter in a 2-on-1 handicap match by locking the Cross Arm Breaker on Swagger, but his ankle is injured. Dolph Ziggler shows up with AJ Lee, Big E Langston and the Money in the Bank briefcase...and cashes in! (Not surprisingly, the crowd chanted "We want Ziggler!" during the match.)

In a deafening wave of fan excitement, Dolph Ziggler beats Alberto Del Rio to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!

The Undertaker enters the ring. He dedicates last night's match at WrestleMania to the memory of Paul Bearer, then The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) shows up. Kane and Daniel Bryan run in to save the day and stand tall with 'Taker, causing The Shield to retreat!

Josh Mathews interviews Dolph Ziggler. He's really happy to be World champ right now!

Santino Marella, Zack Ryder and R-Truth beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntryre, Jinder Mahal). You read this right. Santino and Ryder actually got a win.

Randy Orton and Sheamus argue over fighting Big Show, and Sheamus tells Randy "I've got this."

Sheamus comes to the ring, asks the audience if they want to see him beat up Big Show, and then asks Vicki Guerrero to come to the ring and sort the tiff between him and Randy Orton out. Randy Orton shows up and asks the audience if they want to see him beat up Big Show. This leads to a #RAWActive vote!

Vicki Guerrero and Booker T show up. Sheamus and Randy Orton now have to face each other to win a shot against Big Show.

Big Show destroys Sheamus and Randy Orton as they fight. Orton gets a heavy beatdown. In what is probably shades of Hammerstein Ballroom, the crowd becomes one of the most liveliest and boisterous post-WrestleMania crowds ever, chanting for all three commentators (Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry "The King" Lawler), Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, and ECW. During Big Show's act of destruction, the crowd chants "Thank you Big Show!" and "One more chair!" as Big Show tosses the commentary table chairs around. (This follows chants of "Same old shit," "End this match," "JBL," "Michael Cole," "Jerry Lawler," "Y2J" "HBK" and the audience doing the Wave. Shades of Hammerstein Ballroom, folks.)

Chris Jericho beats up Fandango as the latter takes on Kofi Kingston, and two refs have to pull Jericho off of him when he locks in the Walls of Jericho. Fandango wins by disqualification. The crowd sings along to Fandango's theme as he leaves. (This continues for the rest of the show, and the song is actually played again after the show goes off the air so the crowd can do it again.)

Josh Mathews interviews Paul Heyman. He says that despite the fact that Brock Lesnar lost at WrestleMania, it still took Triple H a while to bring him down, and Lesnar is still ready to fight. Heyman also says that CM Punk will return next week.

The Funkadactyls and Tons of Funk (Cameron, Naomi, Brodus Clay, Tensai) beat Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins (Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Brie and Nikki Bella) in an eight-man mixed tag match.

John Cena beats Mark Henry by count-out as the latter is too focused on destroying Cena. Mark Henry doesn't care; he rushes into the ring and destroys Cena. Ryback runs in and levels Henry, then helps Cena up. Ryback then hits Cena with the Meat Hook and then Shell Shocked, turning heel in the process and starting a feud between the two. Ryback then grabs the belt and the "Feed Me More" chants continue as the show ends.

Somebody made a list of all the things chanted during the show. Here it is.

WrestleMania 29 Recap

The Miz meets Snooki from Jersey Shore, who is Social Media Ambassador for the event. So does Wade Barrett. Neither person wants to deal with Barrett, honestly.

Renee Young interviews Mark Henry, who has every intention of destroying Ryback.

The Miz beats Wade Barrett to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship!

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) beat Big Show, Sheamus and Randy Orton. Big Show didn't even save Orton, as Orton tagged himself in to Show's chagrin as the latter reached out to Sheamus. Show just stands there as Ambrose pins Orton. After the match, Show attacks his two partners and predictably goes back to being the lone wolf heel he previously was.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry beats Ryback by reversing the Shell Shocked simply by grabbing the top rope, crushing Ryback.

Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston after AJ Lee's interference attempt fails.

Fandango beats Chris Jericho in his WWE debut when Jericho can't lock in the Walls of Jericho due to a tweaked knee. This leads to a roll-up victory by Fandango.

Zeb Colter trashes New York City's diverse population before Jack Swagger's match with Alberto Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger with the Cross Arm Breaker.

The Undertaker beats CM Punk after a long, arduous match. The streak continues at 21-0, and 'Taker leaves with Paul Bearer's urn.

Triple H beats Brock Lesnar in a no-holds-barred match and keeps his career alive.

Howard Finkel announces the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Class, who all stand at the top of the entrance ramp.

WrestleMania 29 sets a new attendance record of 80,767. This beats the record held by SummerSlam from 1992 by only a few hundred.

John Cena beats The Rock to win the WWE Championship for the 11th tim! Both men shake hands after the match, and Cena points to The Rock in a sign of respect before he leaves. The Rock follows him and holds Cena's hand high to close the show.

Wondering where the eight-man tag match with Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) and The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) vs Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) went? Apparently, it was removed from the card at the last minute.

Saturday Morning Slam Masters - Saturday Morning Slam results for April 6, 2013

Brad Maddox guests on commentary this week.

Ryback beats Damien Sandow, while also completely nullifying Cody Rhodes's interference attempts by standing there and not budging. Even Sandow's in disbelief.

Mick Foley is this week's Saturday Morning Spotlight!

Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow complain to Mick Foley...who responds by putting Rhodes in a match against Kane for interfering in the last match. Cheaters never prosper, Cody!

Kane beats Cody Rhodes.

Now go learn what's inside Damien Sandow's beard! Be sure to check out WWEFanNation to see the press conference, WrestleMania Axxess, Superstars in the New York/New Jersey area...and much more!

Layin 'da SmackDown - SmackDown results for April 5, 2013

Josh Mathews and Jerry "The King" Lawler are on commentary. JBL and Michael Cole are at WrestleMania Axxess, where they mention what's going on at Axxess and do a bunch of recaps during the show.

Ryback beats Primo and Epico in a handicap match.

The Shield has a message: Believe...

Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) mimic Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) and The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) during their entrance. Horribly. It's all a parody, but it's soon finished by a big verbal putdown of their WrestleMania opponents. The real deals show up, however, and they're not amused. They rush the ring and clean house!

Renee Young interviews Alberto Del Rio. At WrestleMania, he's going to make Jack Swagger pay for that attack on Raw earlier this week, and he's going to retain!

Jack Swagger beats Kofi Kingston with the Patriot Lock after Zeb Colter interferes.

My predictions for WrestleMania 29

The Showcase of the Immortals...it happens Sunday! After one whole year, a whole new slew of old-fashioned barn-burners will become classics. Some are cheesy (like that 8-man tag match), but others are something special (Undertaker vs CM Punk, Brock Lesnar vs Triple H).

Here's my predictions. Let's see how many come true after the disappointing fact of getting only two correct last time:

The Miz vs. Wade Barrett

For the WWE Intercontinental Championship

(Pre-Show)

The Intercontinental Championship is backed to the pre-show? Bull. Well, at least it's being defended here.

My prediction: The Miz will win it here. He's been kept from a mid-card belt for so long with Antonio Cesaro and the United States title. Plus, it's not like Wade Barrett has done much with it anyway.

The Rock vs. John Cena

For the WWE Championship

This match. Again. Not surprisingly, a lot of people are complaining, saying "This was supposed to be only once in a lifetime! WWE lied!" Add the fact that since Rocky won the belt from CM Punk at Royal Rumble and that the belt has been at probably its lowest profile in all its 50 years due to the fact that the champ's still running around Hollywood making movies (which leads to long absences by the man), and it's easy to see why people want this to just end already and see the now re-designed WWE title again.

I have nothing against the match, but I can easily see why fans are pissed. Yes, Cena has something to prove. Yes, Rocky still wants to beat Cena again. Yes, the WWE title is on the line this time. Too bad nobody cares and would rather see one of the other two big matches instead

My prediction: John Cena. Laugh if you want, but at this point the only championship with any sort of profile right now is the World title. The Intercontinental, United States and WWE titles are just on the backburner right now, and even I can barely handle Rocky being the champ one day longer.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

For the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

One of the "big three" for this year's big wrestling event is Jack Swagger coming back with a huge vengeance (and a win at Elimination Chamber!) on a hunt for Alberto Del Rio's World title. Add a xenophobic gimmick and a xenophobic manager in the form of Zeb Colter (old-school fans will  recognize him as "Dirty" Dutch Mantel), and you've got the most dangerous Jack Swagger we've ever seen? Will Del Rio retain, or will we see the rise of Jack Swagger's America.

My prediction: Neither. Dolph Ziggler will swoop in with the Money in the Bank Briefcase and pick the bones with the winner to steal the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. (Yes, we know he still has it. He's gonna use it eventually.)

Oh, before that? Alberto Del Rio. If he can do that well against The Big Show, why can't he do well here?

The Undertaker vs CM Punk

The Undertaker takes on CM Punk in his first match since WrestleMania 28 to see if the streak can stay alive! It's 20-and-none, but the disrespectful Punk will pull out all the stops to make it 20-and-done!

My prediction: Undertaker. He's going to pull the win out somehow, but not before both men pull off the five-star match of their lives.

Sheamus, Randy Orton and Big Show

 vs

The Shield

(Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns)

The Shield is in another six-man tag match, this time against SmackDown's three most dangerous men! How will The Shield get out this time?

My prediction: This will be another good show, yet somehow The Shield will get this one just like they've gotten everything else. They've just got that seemingly unstoppable pack of wolves mentality that has just helped them make the mark that they've wanted in everything they do. Can't picture it failing them now.

Ryback vs. Mark Henry

Two strong men enter. One man leaves.

My prediction: Ryback will somehow pull out the victory. Mark Henry might give him some trouble, but I still think Ryback will pull out the victory somehow.

Team Hell No

(Daniel Bryan and Kane)

vs.

Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

Big E Langston - still NXT Champion - is now making his main roster debut after months of being AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler's bodyguard friend...and oh boy, could he ever get a better first match than this at this point in his career or what? We know he's amazingly strong (he's an accomplished powerlifter, if his Wikipedia entry is any indication) and his strength is a perfect compliment to Dolph's craftiness and scheming. This just might be the biggest match of Team Hell No's history as a unit...

My prediction: I like Team Hell No. I really, really do. But I'd like to see Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston as tag team champs. Sure, I think Dolph might cash in, but it case it doesn't happen - or he somehow fails when it does - this will work just as well. Big E Langston just might be the next Mark Henry...in both powerlifting and in wrestling.

Brock Lesnar vs Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match

If Triple H loses, he must retire.

It's the rematch we've been waiting for since SummerSlam. Last time, The Perfect Storm got the best of Triple H...but The Game is ready to play again now that Brock's reared his ugly head and injured his father-in-law. This just might be Brock Lesnar's...and Paul Heyman's...undoing.

My prediction: Triple H. I'm sorry, but I really want him to win this time. I can't picture him failing now after all that's transpired.

Chris Jericho vs Fandango

Another main roster debut at WrestleMania, this time with the former Johnny Curtis. We know how elitist and how destructive Fandango can be, and he's got a legendary opponent in Jericho. If all goes well with this match, Fandango will be more awesome than ever.

My prediction: Chris Jericho. Because reasons.

Tons of Funk and The Funkadactyls

(Brodus Clay, Tensai, Cameron, Naomi)

vs

Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins

(Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Brie and Nikki Bella)

Oh, yes. The eight-man mixed tag match. Well, at least we have a match that should end all this mess. Also, I'm glad the Bellas are back. The Divas Division was suffering without them.

My prediction: Tons of Funk and The Funkadactyls. Their opponents have gotten the jump on them so many times on the road to WrestleMania, but I think they'll be able to get a decisive victory and overcome what they've been through. It'll be a watershed moment for this still-nascent unit.

There you have it! There's my predictions for 'Mania this year! Feel free to comment.

TNA One Night Only: X-Travaganza Results

Christian York won an X-Division X-Scape match.

Doug Williams and Kid Kash beat Rashad Cameron and Tony Nese.

Robbie E says he's the greatest X-Division champ ever...but Chavo Guerrero shows up and challenges him after saying he made the Cruiserweight division that led to the X-Division. Chavo then brings in the special guest referee for this match: Joseph Park!

Chavo Guerrero beats Robbie E in a match with Joseph Park as the special guest referee.

Rubix, Kenny King, Mason Andrews and Zema Ion are all in an Ultimate X match!

Kenny King wins by technicality after grabbing Rubix and dropping him to the floor after getting the X...and King takes it from him. (Rubix's feet both never actually hit the floor, so King is able to get away with it.)

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) beat Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams. Williams hits Daniels with the Canadian Destroyer afterwards.

Rob Van Dam beats Jerry Lynn in a hardcore match billed as the last time these two men will ever compete against each other, as Lynn is retiring. After the match, the locker room comes out and gives Lynn a standing ovation.

After a hard-fought match, Austin Aries beat Samoa Joe with a roll-up.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for April 4, 2013

It's another night in Jonesboro, Arkansas...and we start it off with Aces and Eights. Mr. Anderson has a prospect jacket (or "cut") for AJ Styles and wants him to make the right choice. Devon has one of Brooke Hogan's documents, which threatens to change...something around here. D'Lo Brown has his notice of termination from TNA...and that's all he's got. He wants a staff member from the back to tell him why he was fired. Kurt Angle shows up, and says he'll say what he needs to...to his face. Kurt jumps D'Lo as his way of telling him how he feels only to get jumped by Aces and Eights. The TNA locker room backs him up immediately, and Aces and Eights retreat.

Joey Ryan wants to help Brooke Hogan by refereeing the Knockouts match tonight. Brooke lets him...reluctantly.

Gail Kim and Tara beat Velvet Sky and Taryn Terrell after Kim flirts with Joey Ryan, getting him to do a fast count for her as she grabs Taryn's tights. Velvet and Taryn then flirt with Ryan for the sole purpose of hitting Ryan with a low blow.

The team of Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez and the tag team champions, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, are in the ring with Jeremy Borash for the contract signing for their match next week in Corpus Christi, Texas. Austin Aries has an idea after all the trash talk...stipulations! The match will be two-out-of-three falls, and if Guerrero and Hernandez lose, they can never work as a tag team in TNA again! The contract is signed!

We talk a look at Gut Check competitor Adam Pearce. After the match, we get a look at Magno.

Adam Pearce beats Magno in the Gut Check match as he holds on to the rope.

AJ Styles gets with Aces and Eights. Mr. Anderson wants him to join, and gives him a jacket to try on.

Hulk Hogan says Sting isn't here tonight. Now he needs to take care of some business and see where a certain person's interests lie...

Joseph Park gets with Kurt Angle to make some battle plans...

Hulk Hogan heads to the ring. He says he won't make the same kind of mistakes he made recently. He then calls out AJ Styles, who shows up. He eyes the Aces and Eights jacket in his hands and tries to talk sense into him after all he's been through in the past year, and wants AJ to help him. "The Cowboy" James Storm shows up, and confronts him about his actions from last week. He tells AJ to clock out before he gets knocked out. AJ and Storm stare each other down, then AJ walks away while looking at the "cut" in his hands.

Hulk Hogan gives AJ Styles one week to make a decision about where he's going to go - TNA or Aces and Eights. He's done sucking up to AJ.

Petey Williams beats Mason Andrews and Sonjay Dutt in an X-Division qualifying match. Mason Andrews was pinned after Williams hits the Canadian Destroyer on him.

Bully Ray wants Aces and Eights to win tonight's 10-man tag match at all costs...and he's also ready to deal with his wife Brooke Hogan in the ring...

Aces and Eights (Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff, Knux, DOC and Devon) beats Team TNA (Samoa Joe, Magnus, Kurt Angle, Eric Young and Joseph Park in a 10-man tag team match after DOC hits Joseph Park with a low blow.

Brooke Hogan is ready to deal with Bully Ray. Her father Hulk Hogan wants her to bring a few security guys with her, just in case.

Bully Ray comes out to the ring with a manila folder.  He's ready to take down Jeff Hardy next week. He calls out his wife Brooke Hogan, who shows up with some security detail. Bully chastises her for not wearing her wedding ring, and says she should be happy with him. Also, the manila folder does not contains divorce papers, as Bully Ray tells her. Instead, it's a front row ticket to next week's main event at Corpus Christi, Texas. He wants her to be at his side when he beats Jeff Hardy and retains the World Heavyweight title. He then tells Brooke "You've really let yourself go." She then tears up the ticket and slaps him in the face, but Bully just laughs it off and tells her he's in her head. Hardy finally runs in, and the show ends with him and Bully going at it.

Wednesday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for April 3, 2013

JBL guests on commentary for tonight's episode, especially for the first match. Wade Barrett does likewise, as he runs his mouth to The Miz before Miz's 2-on-1 handicap match against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil).

The Miz beats The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) in a 2-on-1 handicap match after Miz locks the Figure Four Leg Lock on Young.

Matt Striker interviews Big Show. He's ready to become the monster he knows he is at WrestleMania.

Monday, April 1, 2013

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 1, 2013

John Cena starts off tonight's show in Washington, DC. He's ready to conquer The Rock, and he doesn't want to lose again. Cena says that The Rock will finally lose the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. He also has no intent of reverting the WWE title to its previous "spinner belt" incarnation, either, and hold it as proof of being better than Rocky.

Big Show, Sheamus and Randy Orton beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre). The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) show up, congratulate them, and tell them to wait until WrestleMania when they'll lose.

Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger are in Washington, DC. They explain to us that America has become weak, and that Swagger will become the next World champion.

Matt Striker interviews Alberto Del Rio. He plans to do something about Jack Swagger at WrestleMania...and Zeb Colter tonight!

Dolph Ziggler beats Daniel Bryan thanks to AJ Lee's interference. Big E Langston obliterates D-Bry, but Kane saves the day...almost. When Kane tries to choke slam Big E, E breaks loose and obliterates Kane. AJ, Dolph and E stand over D-Bry and Kane with the tag team titles.

Shawn Michaels is here! The Heartbreak Kid aka "Mr. WrestleMania" is here for Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar. Triple H sshows up. Shawn Michaels tells Triple H that his opponent is different from HBK's. Undertaker may have respected HBK, but Lesnar doesn't give a damn about Triple H. Triple H thinks Shawn's trying to talk him out of it, but Michaels says he wants his friend to kick Lesnar's ass, and he'll be in his corner at WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar shows up with Paul Heyman. Heyman talks about how disappoiting Triple H will be at WrestleMania before saying that he is committing "professional suicide."

The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

Wade Barrett beats Zack Ryder.

Santino Marella is back for the first time since Royal Rumble! He tells Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox that Vince McMahon is here and that he's in a foul mood...and that it's an April Fool's joke. Vickie Guerrero turns the joke around and puts Santino Marella in a match...and it's next!

Santino Marella finds out his opponent is "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry destroys Santino Marella in mere seconds. Ryback shows up, but Mark Henry has the mic and reminds him of the no-contact clause. Ryback grabs Santino, bumps Santino into him, then throws the poor guy into Mark Henry from inside the ring!

Matt Striker interviews CM Punk, who doesn't care about Paul Bearer's memory or the fact that he's disrespecting it. He wants to get in Undertaker's head and beat him at WrestleMania.

As Alberto Del Rio fights Zeb Colter, Jack Swagger goes after Ricardo Rodriguez! Colter grabs Ricardo's raised crutch, and Del Rio goes after Swagger. This gives Colter the time to strike Del Rio with the crutch. Swagger attacks Del Rio from behind, and both Swagger and Colter beat down Del Rio with two crutches.

The Rock enters the ring. He tells his fans he can feel the connection between them, and says Sunday will be about both the will of the people and the day The Rock will be triumphant once more. He also says he might just live here in Washington, DC, too.

Fandango shows up as Chris Jericho takes on Antonio Cesaro. He judges Jericho's moves with Dancing With The Stars-esque score cards. (I wish I was making this last part up.) The Double Axe Handle got a four and the Lionsault got a three. (I wish I was making that part up, too.) He then gets kicked for his trouble.

Chris Jericho beats Antonio Cesaro with the Walls of Jericho, and Fandango wastes no time punishing Jericho. Two refs can't stop Fandango from doing the immense amount of damage he does to Jericho.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) beat The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) with a surprise roll-up.

The Undertaker shows up and enters the ring. He plans to make CM Punk suffer at WrestleMania, as winning isn't enough. Suddently, two druids come out with lit torches as a chant can be heard around the entire arena. The two druids are followed by more, and they form a line on both sides of the entrance ramp as the chant goes on in silence. Paul Bearer shows up with the urn. Wait. Wrong Paul. It's Paul Heyman dressed like Paul Bearer. 'Taker goes after him, but then realized that one of the druids could be CM Punk. He looks for Punk, but Punk still gets the jump on himn and attacks him from behind. After smacking 'Taker with the urn, CM Punk opens the urn and pours Paul Bearer's ashes all over Undertaker.
