Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 15, 2016

Lightning knocked out the power to the arena before the show, but thankfully electricity was restored before the show.

In a WWE.com exclusive, Rusev is still angry after what happened last week with Roman Reigns, and says he plans to crush Roman tonight.

During the pre-show, we see the aftermath of a cake-covered Lana courtesy of a WWE.com exclusive.

Andrea D'Marco interviews Bob Backlund and Darren Young, but Titus O'Neil shows up. Andrea leaves, then Titus O'Neil apologizes for his "Darren Young was never great" comments. Titus O'Neil wants to bring back The Prime Time Players. Bob Backlund likes the idea, saying the team can be tag team champions again, and goes to talk to Mick Foley about bringing them back together. Titus tells Darren Young this will be for one night only.

"Mr. Irrelevant" Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas congratulates Jinder Mahal for beaing up Heath Slater, and Mahal says that Slater turned his back on the band to join a couple of social outcasts. Bo and Axel chalk it all up to jealousy towards Slater. Jinder tells them to watch his upcoming match against Neville to see him do something Axel can't do: win.

Earlier today, Seth Rollins was outside the arena, saying he had business with "The Demon King" and called him out right now. He then looks for "The Demon King."

Lana and Rusev are in the ring. They say that Roman Reigns ruined a historic celebration last week, and that they will hold up the show until Roman Reigns shows up and apologizes. Instead, they get Raw General Manager Mick Foley, and Rusev demands respect, saying Mick Foley is no GM without him. Foley tells Rusev to get out of the ring, and Rusev tells Foley he sucks for making him defend the US title against Roman at SummerSlam. He says that Foley has no real power, and demands Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon come to the ring. She does, and she says Rusev's behavior is unacceptable. Rusev threatens to move to SmackDown, saying Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon will appreciate him there. Suddenly, Roman Reigns shows up and apologizes for Rusev being married to Lana in the first place. After some words from Rusev, Roman says that they might as well have their United Staes title match right now. Stephanie stops this, but Rusev wants to fight for Lana's honor. Mick Foley decides to make a match where Rusev can do just that against Roman Reigns tonight.

Byron Saxton interviews Sheamus before the next match. Sheamus says he is the most dominant Superstar on Raw right now, and proved he is the better athlete compared to Cesaro. He has moved on to greener pastures such as Sami Zayn, but calls him a cheap Sheamus knockoff. When the crowd chants "You look stupid," he tells the crowd that everybody paid to see him...so who's stupid now?

Cesaro guests on commentary during the middle of Sheamus vs. Sami Zayn.

Sami Zayn beats Sheamus after Cesaro leaves commentary and distracts Sheamus.

Tom Phillips interviews Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Jericho says tonight's match against Big Cass is 1-on-2, and he and Owens then make fun of Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Kevin Owens says he will beat Big Cass tonight, and that he and Jericho will go on to beat Enzo and Cass at SummerSlam to the point that when they're asked "How you doin'?" they won't be feeling so good because Jericho and Owens beat them.

Referees - and Raw General Manager Mick Foley - stop a backstage between Sheamus and Cesaro, and puts them in a Best of Seven series with the first match starting at SummerSlam.

Before the next match, we see Gallows & Anderson Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) talk about ringpostitis - and microwave an egg - on the Titantron.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xacier Woods) beat The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley). Club on TitanTron. Kofi and Xavier call out Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) for thinking what they did to Big E is funny, and say that The Club do not have the power to take their tag team titles or the "New Day Rocks" slogan, which they both do in place of the injured Big E.

Seth Rollins is looking for "The Demon King" backstage. He finds Neville, who tells Seth that he's been in the ring with "The Demon King," and tells Seth that he isn't ready.

Before the next match, Byron Saxton interviews Rachel Lee, who believes that she can go home with the gold and beat Nia Jax after watching the Summer Olympics non-stop.

Nia Jax quickly beats Rachel Lee.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman enter the ring. Before Heyman can speak, he is interrupted by Heath Slater. Slater states that he is the hottest free agent in sports entertainment today, and says that since both Raw and SmackDown can't recognize him as a star, he's coming to Paul Heyman. Heyman laughts at Slater, but Slater tells him to laugh it up and asks for a one-on-one match against Brock Lesnar. Heyman just ignores Slater and acts like he's not even there, but Slater screams back, saying not to disrespect him and that he has kids that rely on him. Heyman tells Slater he's trying to save his ass. Lesnar gets on the microphone and talks to him, telling him he feels for him as he has kids too and to get in the ring so he can talk about his kids. He does, and Lesnar tells him he doesn't give a shit about his kids. He gives Slater two options: get out of the ring or keep pissing him off. Slater obviously chooses the latter option, and gets decimated as a result. Heyman gives Slater credit for going face-to-face with Brock Lesnar, as Randy Orton doesn't have the guts to do it. He says that Lesnar will massacre Orton at SummerSlam, and that not one person in the locker room can stand up to Lesnar. He then says that Lesnar is the box office for SummerSlam, and that everyone has the rare opportunity to see him in a match.

Before the next match, Enzo Amore says that he and Big Cass are going to have a SummerSlam barbecue this Sunday where they will beat Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho.

Big Cass beats Kevin Owens by disqualification after Chris Jericho interferes. Big Cass fights back, but the newly-christened JeriKO leave Cass laying.

Tom Phillips interviews Roman Reigns backstage. He plans to represent his bloodline and beat Rusev's ass. He is then suddenly attacked from behind by Rusev, and officials have to hold both men back.

The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) beat The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) after Primo whips Darren Young into Titus O'Neil, who is tending to Bob Backlund. Titus thinks Darren ran into him on purpose and hits him with Clash of the Titus, allowing The Shining Stars to win.

Neville beats Jinder Mahal.

General Manager Mick Foley tells Commissioner Stephanie McMahon that he has gotten off the phone with Jon Stewart and that Stewart will be the host at SummerSlam. Seth Rollins shows up looking for "The Demon King," then asks for the night off. Foley asks Seth Rollins to go to the ring and call "The Demon King" out.

Seth Rollins is now in the ring. He says he has never been so insulted in his life last week thanks to Finn Balor's response, and says he still can't find "The Demon King." He tells the media to get ready for what he's going to say: nothing will stop him from becoming the first WWE Universal Champion. He also says he can't find "The Demon King" anywhere and calls him out from the center of the ring, so he can kick him back into the history books. Nothing happens, and chalks it up to intimidation tactics by Finn Balor because Finn is afraid of him. He then says "The Demon King" is just another character in the Book of Rollins. A fan tries to jump into the ring, and Seth makes fun of the situation by saying "That's the Demon King right there?" and laughing. He continues to mock "The Demon King" when the lights flicker and weird utterings are heard. The arena goes dark and then flashes red. Finn Balor finally shows up in his body paint and Demon King get-up. "The Demon King" is here. After his entrance, Finn Balor stares down with Seth Rollins, then they brawl...and Finn Balor comes out on top.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat The Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth). After the match, Gallows and Anderson are attacked by The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), and Woods almost takes Francesca II to Anderson's nuts until Gallows makes the save.

Dana Brooke talks with Charlotte backstage. Charlotte then chews Dana Brooke for failing her last week, and says she will beat Alicia Fox by herself before taking the Women's Championship back at SummerSlam before replacing Dana with "someone who isn't an epic failure."

Sasha Banks guests on commentary for the next match.

Charlotte beats Alicia Fox. After the match, Charlotte dares Sasha Banks to get in the ring. Dana Brooke shows up and it becomes a 2-on-1 assault, which ends with Charlotte locking in the Figure Eight on Sasha.

We see a video package of Braun Strowman.

Roman Reigns beats Rusev.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 14, 2015

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon arrive to start the show. The Connor's Cure Foundation logo is on the top of the entrance ramp. Also, the top and bottom ropes of the ring are white, and the middle ropes are yellow. They announce that the next generation of WWE stars in NXT will take the world by storm, and they will be led by one man, who is the man: Seth Rollins, whom Triple H promises will successfully defend both the WWE United States Championship and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, beat both John Cena and Sting and cement his legacy forever. Stephanie McMahon then announces the Divas title match tonight between Charlotte and Divas Champion Nikki Bella. Triple H then announces for the first time in history, Sting will compete right here on Raw when he goes one-on-one with Big Show. Triple H asks the audience if they're ready, and Stephanie McMahon announces that tonight's first match is a match for the WWE Tag Team Championships...and it's next. When The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon dance with them during their entrance.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) and go on to defend them against The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) at Night of Champions, thanks to the distraction from Xavier Woods. The Dudleys show up at the top of the entrance ramp, and talk trash from there while The New Day argue with them from the ring.

We look back at Sting's career throughout tonight's episode, starring with his tag team match with Dusty Rhodes against The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) at Starrcade 1988.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talk about their dance with The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) when Seth Rollins. He can't wait for Big Show to knock Sting out, but Rollins is worried about John Cena and Sheamus. Triple H says that Rollins just solved his own problems, as Triple H has just made Cena vs. Sheamus official for later tonight. Stephanie just tells Rollins to worry about Night of Champions.

Renee Young interviews Charlotte and her father, Ric Flair. Charlotte can't wait to fulfill a childhood dream, especially with her father at her side. Ric Flair says that the Divas Revolution has been remarkable, and that both Charlotte and Nikki Bella will be rocking the house, and he'll be watching all night long. Charlotte then says that watching the Bella Empire crumble to Natural Selection will be a dream come true. Both Flair and Charlotte leave with a couple of "Woooo!"s.

Sasha Banks beats Paige with the Banks Statement after Tamina pulls Sasha out of the way of a move off the apron from Paige. Tamina and Naomi attack Paige and Becky Lynch after the match.

It's time for Miz TV. The Miz has gathered some interesting guest's for tonight's installment: The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman). Wyatt tells Miz not to sit down, as he is not safe here. Miz insists he is not Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns' partner at Night of Champions. Wyatt makes it clear that he wants Ambrose and Reigns to suffer, and for people to pay for their sins. As for what he wants most, he wants the WWE Universe to know that regardless of how many people show up Sunday night, he wants those people to know that they all fall down. Ambrose and Reigns show up, then Ambrose beats up The Miz before he and Reigns stare down with The Wyatt Family. Reigns tells Wyatt he makes him sick, especially after they took out Randy Orton and Jimmy Uso, and that Wyatt will pay for the latter. Reigns says that Wyatt has to surround himself with monsters because he can't beat him by himself, then tells Wyatt they've found a third person for their team. He then says that this feud is going to become a war that they'll win. Ambrose and Reigns stare down with The Wyatt Family again to end Miz TV.

We look back at The Great American Bash 1990, when Sting beat Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

John Cena beats Sheamus.

Ryback is in the ring. He is proud to stand inside as Intercontinental Champion in Memphis, Tennessee, especially since Kevin Owens has him all shook up. He knows Kevin has no respect for him, the ring and what it means to be a champion. Owens shows up soon after Ryback says that, and Owens talks about how Ryback mentioned how the book "The Secret" helped him overcome tough times as well as recent injury. Owens has read the book - which he has brought with him - and says he feels sorry for him and anybody who's read "this piece of garbage." Ryback says the only piece of garbage he sees is Owens, who says the book is an excuse and a crutch for weak people. He can't blame Ryback for reading it, but he can blame him for being both the strongest and the weakest guy in the locker room, and says it's a travesty that he's the Intercontinental Champion. Ryback tells Kevin Owens what he's all about, and respects Owens' long road to where he is now. He admits he had an elevator ride to the top and fell flat on his face, but he has since picked himself back up and got back up to where he is now. Owens tells him that the first chance he gets, he's going to take the Intercontinental Championship. Ryback tells him that he'll get his chance at Night of Champions, as he's asked Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for this match. Owens walks away soon after.

We look back at Starrcade 1997, when Sting beat "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and win a major victory for WCW against the nWo.

Neville comes out for the next match with The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto). This starts a brawl between them and Stardust and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), and Neville and The Lucha Dragons easily come out on top.

Nikki Bella is unimpressed with our year...and says she's been Divas Champion this whole time and that she's the one who gave us the Divas Revolution. She plans to beat Charlotte and become the longest-reigning Divas Champion tonight.

Charlotte beat Nikki Bella to win the WWE Divas Championship...by beating Brie. Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) tries to run interference, but it backfires. Stephanie McMahon shows up and declares that Charlotte is winner, but only by disqualification as Brie Bella put her hands on Charlotte. Therefore, Charlotte is still the winner, but Nikki Bella retains the WWE Divas Championship. Since Charlotte is victorious, she gets a championship rematch at Night of Championship...and this time, the title can change hands by count-out or disqualification.

We look back at Survivor Series 2014, when Sting appeared in the WWE for the very first time, took out Triple H and helped Team Cena take Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of power.

Cesaro beats Rusev after Rusev is distracted by Dolph Ziggler, who tries to give a gift to Summer Rae. Ziggler gets in the ring and hits a super kick on Rusev immediately after the match is over. As Summer Rae tends to Rusev, she takes the gift and hides it from Rusev's eyes.

Stephanie McMahon, Dolph Ziggler and Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) meet the children of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Kiara Grindrod, one of the children, is in the front row with her dad and is officially cancer-free, two weeks before her eighth birthday.

Seth Rollins and Big Show talk backstage.

Rusev and Summer Rae are backstage. Rusev yells on his way back to his room, but Summer Rae still has Dolph Ziggler's present, which contains some jewelry.

Stardust has officially challenged Neville, and the match is official for the Night of Champions kick-off, as Neville and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) takes on Stardust and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).

Big Show meets with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon backstage. Show tells them he's got Sting.

We look back at last Monday, when Sting destroyed Seth Rollins' statue.

Nikki Bella's "Bellabration" is this Thursday on SmackDown.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are ringside for the next match.

Sting vs. Big Show ends with the interference of Seth Rollins. Rollins and Big Show double-team Sting, but John Cena shows up to even the odds. This turns the match into a tag match with Sting and John Cena vs. Big Show and Seth Rollins, as per Triple H.

Sting and John Cena beat Seth Rollins and Big Show with a Scorpion Deathlock to Rollins.

Saturday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for September 12, 2015

All results courtesy of dailywrestlingnews.com.

The show begins with Bo Dallas showing us his miraculous recovery from Brock Lesnar's F5 in video form. Bo then says that he has travelled the world and used his words to inspire people and change lives. Recently, he went to a city that changed his life. That city is Suplex City, and that everyone who has went there has been changed permanently, and considers himself no exception, saying he has changed for the better after surviving it. If Suplex City cannot stop him, then nothing can, and he will continue to inspire the world.

Bo Dallas beats Fandango.

Renee Young interviews Dolph Ziggler. He is glad to get Rusev in the ring again for Night of Champions, and hopes their rivalry will end there once and for all. He says that Lana is at home and things are not going that well. Kevin Owens shows up and tells him to worry less about Lana and more about what's going to happen to him in the ring tonight. Dolph says that is Owens were him, he'd be a former world champion. Owens dismisses this, and says he would hate for Dolph to be distracted before his match as he could get hurt.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego, now without El Torito).

Kevin Owens beats Dolph Ziggler.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 7, 2015

During the pre-show, The Miz talks with Cesaro and tells him that he can make him a breakout star, and turn the "Cesaro Section" into the "Cesaro Nation." Cesaro appears to shake hands with The Miz, but then nearly breaks it, and tells Miz that he's the last person he would ask for help. He then challenges Miz to a match later tonight in order to show him how he connects with the WWE Universe.

Seth Rollins shows up to start tonight's show. He gives the city of Baltimore, Maryland a reality check, saying that before him, cashing in the Money in the Bank Briefcase at WrestleMania was a pipe dream, Brock Lesnar was invincible, and that people were waiting for someone to topple John Cena off the top of the WWE mountain, which he says he did when he beat Cena at SummerSlam and became WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion at the same time. He says that Baltimore, a city not known for greatness, now knows what greatness is thanks to him. He then focuses on Sting, who he still claims stole his statue that was meant for the Raw after SummerSlam and had the audacity to put his hands on the WWE World Heavyweight title. He says that at Night of Champions, Sting has the opportunity to validate his entire career, but Rollins himself has the opportunity to crush it and make sure he never goes for the World Heavyweight title ever again. He then focuses on his United States title defense against John Cena, also at Night of Champions, thanks to Cena's rematch clause. He says that 2015 has been his year, and Night of Champions will be his night, own Sting and John Cena just like he owns the ring and the WWE Universe, successfully defend both of his titles, and get his statue if that's the last thing he does, saying it belongs ringside next to the commentary table. Sting then appears on the TitanTron, saying the statue doesn't belong there and that it belongs with him. Sting then says that Seth Rollins is the man...the man without a statue. He says the statue is with him, and he taking's good care of it. He dares Rollins to come and get it before the TitanTron goes black. Suddenly, Sheamus shows up. He says Seth Rollins looks a little agitated, but Rollins says he's just looking for his statue. Sheamus says Rollins sounds stupid, and Rollins says Sheamus looks stupid. After a Ronald McDonald joke between the two, Sheamus then reminds Rollins that he can cash in on him with the Money in the Bank on him at any time...especially at Night of Champions.

Seth Rollins meets with Stephanie McMahon, looking for Triple H to see if he has a plan. Triple H suddenly shows up, and both Triple H and Stephanie tell him he's got this. He tells Rollins not to worry about Sheamus, and that Sheamus will have his hands full tonight with Randy Orton. As for the statue, he should focus on his title defenses at Night of Champions more than the statue, which is why Rollins has been set up with two matches tonight. The first one is a Champion vs. Champion match with Intercontinental champ Ryback, and the second one is Champions vs. Challengers as him and The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) team up against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) and John Cena.

Sasha Banks beats Paige thanks to the distraction by Naomi and Tamina.

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). After the match, Braun Strowman appears on the TitanTron. He doesn't blame Ambrose and Reigns before being afraid, for he is destruction. Bray Wyatt shows up and says to take this as a warning for them and anyone who teams with them, as the apocalypse awaits them at Night of Champions. Luke Harper simply says "Run."

Renee Young interviews Ryback. Ryback plans to be a fighting champion, especially tonight. He then calls Seth Rollins a weasel, even though he is a thoroughbred in the prime in his career, though the later point won't stop him from beaing Ryback tonight. Kevin Owens shows up, eating an apple and wishing him good luck. Ryback tells him he's full of crap, but Owens tells him he looks a little hungry and tells him not to bite off more than he chew.

During Seth Rollins vs. Ryback, Sting appears on the TitanTron, telling Rollins he - and his statue - are waiting for him. This distraction gives enough time for Ryback to recover and beat Rollins with an inside cradle. After the match, Sting appears on the TitanTron again, this time just to taunt Rollins by putting a Sting mask on the statue.

Seth Rollins is looking for Sting backstage when The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) shows up. Seth is about to yell at them when The New Day notice that Edge and Christian show up, still angry that The Authority attacked them the last time they appeared on Raw and remind him they didn't get the job done. Seth leaves when Edge tells him to finish what he started and finish him off right now, saying he's got a lot on his plate, then both The New Day and the team of Edge and Christian have a trombone vs. kazoo battle...until The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) show up, telling The New Day that they've talked to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and that The New Day have a rematch next week against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil)...and the winners face The Dudley Boyz at Night of Champions. They then preview their new song, "Get the tables," with help from Edge and Christian.

Summer Rae is in the ring. After a video package recapping all that's gone down so far, Summer says that the past week has been the most horrendous week of her life and at the center of it all, there is a man who she claims is the "true victim" of all this that she feels the need to apologize to. That man, according to Summer Rae, is Rusev, and she asks him to come to the ring. He does, and Summer tells him that she owes much to him, and inspired her to pose for this month's Ironman magazine, among other things. She mentions that she let Dolph kiss her, and she might never forgive herself for what happened as she apologizes. Rusev almost immediately accepts her apology, then says that Summer is the true victim here due to "Ziggler's American lies," which have "also been fed to Lana." He refuses to accept Lana is not here because of a broken wrist, and says she's not here due to a broken heart. Dolph Ziggler shows up, saying that their attempt to drive a wedge between her and Lana aren't working, and that Lana has asked him to send Rusev a message: a super kick to Rusev's jaw. Rusev and Summer immediately retreat.

Randy Orton talks with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns before his match.

Randy Orton beats Sheamus. After the match, Orton is suddenly surrounded and attacked by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman). Strowman then chokes out Orton, just like he has done to Dean Ambrose in recent weeks, before hitting the coup de grace.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) after Diego repeatedly tells El Torito to get off the ropes and slaps him for not listening, allowing The Dudleys hit to hit a Dudley Death Drop on Diego. After the match, Fernando turns on El Torito, and The Dudleys can't believe what they're seeing. Not surprisingly, Fernando goes through a table after D-Von interrupts his yelling at El Torito to get a few shots on him. After that, Bubba Ray and JBL high-five each other.

Big Show shows up during Cesaro vs. The Miz and plays cat-and-mouse with him. The match ends in a double count-out after The Miz escapes into the WWE Universe. Big Show then knocks Cesaro out on his way back to the back.

Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) show up. Once again, they brag about the BellaTron and how, in one week, Nikki Bella will be the longest-reigning Divas Champion ever. She plans to throw a "Bellabration" next week to celebrate this fact...until Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch) shows up. Charlotte says she loves a party, but is slighted the fact that she - and Team PCB - weren't invited. Her petition to face her for the Divas title before the record can be broken has been granted, and she plans to take the title before the record can be broken next week. This starts a brawl between Team Bella and Team PCB, where PCB easily stand tall with a Figure Eight to Nikki.

Before the next match, someone jumps the barricade and tries to walk alongside Seth Rollins. The person is detained before he can enter the ring, and is escorted out of the building by security.

John Cena and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat Seth Rollins and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). After the match, Sting appears on the TitanTron once again...and it turns out that Sting was outside the building in front of a garbage truck the entire time. He pushes Rollins' statue into the back of the truck, and the statue easily gets crushed. Rollins is absolutely livid.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for September 3, 2015

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up. They say that a table is a terrible thing to waste, and the backbone of human achievement. They would not be here without the support of good, honest, hard-working American tables. The first Thanksgiving at Plymouth was celebrated on a table. The Declaration of Independence was written and signed on a table. Walter Cronkite announced the moon landing while sitting at a table. The New Day signed their contracts at a table. They say The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) has zero regard for tables, and that they and the WWE Universe can change that by joining the #SaveTheTables movement. The "Save The Tables" chant is spoiled by the entrance of The Dudley Boyz themselves, and tell them they forgot to mention the moment where Xavier Woods went through a table, and The New Day hide the table as they approach the ring. Bubba Ray says that history has a way of repeating itself, and that he and D-Von will become ten-time tag team champions. The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) show up, saying they've earned their keep as well as their rematch for the tag team titles, and tell The Dudleys to go back to the end of the line. Bubba Ray and D-Von have to remind the Players exactly who they are, then the Players announce that they have a gift: two tickets to Dudleyville for right about now. This starts a match between the Dudleys and the Players, and The New Day guest on commentary.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil). After the match, Kofi Kingston and Big E get away with the bubble wrapped table while Xavier Woods sneaks into the ring and smacks D-Von Dudley on the back of the head before retreating.

Renee Young interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods)...and they find out they have a match tonight with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, which puts an end to Xavier Woods' joyous trombone playing.

Stardust vs. Neville ends before it can even start when Neville is attacked from behind by The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), much to the happiness of Stardust. Stardust tells Neville he's flying too close to the sun, and announces The Ascension as his newest cohorts. Konnor and Viktor hit the Fall of Man on Neville, and Stardust welcomes him to the cosmic wasteland.

Jojo interviews Cesaro. He plans to make up for his loss against Kevin Owens on Monday night by beating Sheamus...who shows up with his new "It is...what it is" catchphrase. Sheamus calls Cesaro a letdown who keeps leading the "Cesaro Section" on and on and on. Cesaro responds by telling Sheamus that he agrees with the WWE Universe and that he indeed looks stupid. Sheamus says the match tonight should be very entertaining.

Sheamus beats Cesaro.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guests are Dolph Ziggler and Lana, but before he brings them out, he brings out Summer Rae, whom he calls "the real victim" in what's going on between Ziggler, Lana, Rusev and Summer. Summer repeats her claims that she made to Renee Young earlier this week on Raw...then admits she lied. Miz asks if what she said earlier this week was a complete fabrication, Summer says there's actually more. She says that Ziggler brought her close in his arm and kissed her, and that it went from passion to guilt because she has the most amazing man in Rusev and she was seduced by Ziggler, which caused her to run out of his locker room as quickly as she could. Ziggler and Lana show up as Summer speaks. The Miz tells Ziggler and Lana to calm down, and tells everyone to act like adults on his show. Ziggler makes it clear that he and Lana trust each other, and Summer responds by saying she and him have had a thing for a while now. Ziggler denies that, but Summer responds with some footage from June 2014, when she dropped Fandango to kiss Ziggler, and Ziggler kissed her back. When Summer keeps insisting that she and Ziggler still have a thing, Lana attacks Summer, then walks away from Ziggler as quickly as possible. Summer screams at Lana, calling her a bitch and saying that she can't handle the truth.

Bo Dallas beats R-Truth. Dallas attacks R-Truth after the match for laughing at the replay of Dallas receiving an F5 at the hands of Brock Lesnar.

Renee Young interviews Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch), and congratulates Charlotte for becoming the new #1 contender for the Divas title. Charlotte credits Paige and Becky Lynch for being where she is right now, and Paige and Becky congratulate Charlotte for getting the shot and putting the target on Nikki Bella, with Becky saying that if one of them succeeds, they all succeed. Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) shows up, saying that she will be the longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history. Charlotte bursts Nikki's bubble, saying that she asked Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to make the match happen before she breaks the record. If Charlotte gets her way and Nikki Bella loses the title, Nikki also loses the record.

Charlotte beats Tamina. After the match, Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) pose at the top of the entrance ramp with the BellaTron ticking down the seconds until Nikki becomes the longest-reigning Divas champ.

Renee Young interviews Kevin Owens. Owens has another movement he'd like to silence: people who look down upon him for how he looks, which he admits people have done for over 15 years and has never stopped him...and it still won't now.

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) ends after Xavier Woods interferes, and Ambrose and Reigns respond by cleaning house. After the match, Ambrose calls out Braun Strowman, wanting another crack at him. Roman calls out The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Strowman), but Luke Harper shows up on the TitanTron, as does Bray Wyatt. Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 20, 2015

The Undertaker appears to start tonight's show. He pulls out a microphone and says that he is ready for battle. Streaks are made to be broken, but 'Taker is tired of Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar taking the fact that they broke The Streak and shoved it down everyone's throats. He calls Battleground his "true resurrection," tells Lesnar that he can't kill won't die, and says he will challenge and conquer The Beast himself.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talk in the back. Triple H says that Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar is in the bag for SummerSlam.

Team BAD (Sasha Banks, Naomi, Tamina) guest on commentary for the next match.

Charlotte beats Brie Bella with the Figure Eight.

Triple H tells Paul Heyman over the phone that Brock Lesnar/Undertaker is the main event for SummerSlam, and that Lesnar should not show up tonight. As he speaks to Heyman, The Miz complains about Big Show knocking him out last night. Triple H isn't listening to Miz, and he puts Miz in a match against Big Show.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) beat The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) after the distraction from The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods).

Big Show beats The Miz with a giant elbow drop from the second rope. After the match, Big Show confronts Miz about him being "missing since the Attitude Era," and says he wants Ryback and the Intercontinental Championship.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon find Paul Heyman backstage. Heyman is here to tell the WWE Universe that Brock Lesnar accepts the challenge at SummerSlam and leave. HHH and Stephanie don't trust Heyman, and agree on posting more security around the arena and warning the locker room.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon tell the WWE roster to stand between Brock Lesnar and Undertaker, and keep them from destroying one another before SummerSlam.

Paul Heyman is in the ring. He says Brock Lesnar should be WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now, but Undertaker put a stop to all that last night at Battleground. As for continuously bragging about Brock Lesnar breaking The Streak, he mentions all of the big names that tried and failed where Lesnar did not. He then says that Brock Lesnar broke Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30, and while he sold his soul to the devil, his ass belongs to Brock Lesnar. Undertaker pops up after the lights go dark and then turn back on. He is about to go after Paul Heyman when Lesnar rushes in. This starts a brawl of epic proportions that takes security, WWE Superstars and even Triple H himself to break up.

After the break, the brawl between Brock Lesnar and Undertaker continues backstage. Policemen eventually cuff and escort Lesnar out of the arena, with Lesnar kindly asking not to be touched.

As Triple H tells Stephanie McMahon that he will not press charges against Brock Lesnar and will just give him time to cool off, Seth Rollins - amazed at what just happened between Lesnar and Undertaker - shows up and says he has a lot to get off his chest. Triple H and Stephanie give him the go-ahead.

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper tell Roman Reigns that Battleground was just the beginning, and that this continues tonight.

Dean Ambrose shows up to even the odds before Luke Harper takes on Roman Reigns.

This starts a brawl between the team of Harper and Wyatt and the team of Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Harper and Wyatt get their offense in, but Ambrose isn't spent yet and he helps Roman Reigns get enough time to regroup and even the odds. Ambrose and Reigns stand tall and the end of this fracas.

Seth Rollins shows up. He asks the WWE Universe members in the Kansas City crowd what it's like to be wrong about him again, and tells them they are indeed wrong again. He says Brock Lesnar is the most vicious Superstar out there, but he's still standing, yet the WWE Universe still disrespects him like they always have. He says he has faced every challenge in front of him and walked away with the title each and every time, and that he is the "be all, end all" of champions in this industry. He still feels he was robbed by Undertaker and Lesnar, however, and tells Lillian Garcia to come into the ring and announce that he is still the World Heavyweight Champion. She does...then John Cena shows up. He tells the WWE Universe they no longer have to deal with Rollins' crap. Rollins congratulates Cena on last night's win, and gives him a hard time for the open challenges. Cena congratulates Rollins for forcing him into the road to being the United States champ, congratulates him on being a slimy excuse of a champion, and tells him that his actions make people lose faith in the World Heavyweight title and gain faith in the United States title. Rollins tells Cena he can keep having his open challenges while he keeps being the World champion. Cena tells Rollins to keep running from every challenge like he always has, and that the man makes the title, not the other way around. When Cena asks Rollins if he's ready to man up yet, this teases a brawl between Cena and Rollins, but Rollins walks away with a smirk on his face. Suddenly, Summer Rae shows up, dressed very similarly to Lana but in a slightly more liberal fashion. As Summer works her psychological warfare on Lana, Rusev shows up, speaks to Summer in his native Bulgarian before kissing her, then insults Lana. After Rusev leaves for his match, Summer Rae slaps Lana yet again.

John Cena, Randy Orton and Cesaro beat Kevin Owens, Sheamus and Rusev. During the match, Sheamus walks out after a quarrel with Kevin Owens, Owens walks out after super kicking Rusev in the face after being abusive to him for being laid out outside of the ring, and Lana shows up to give Summer Rae a beatdown.

Suddenly, Stephanie McMahon shows up and makes it clear she owns the Divas Division and WWE, and that the Divas Division needs a change. She's not introducing it alone...she's doing it with Paige. But Paige isn't doing it alone, as she has back-up: Becky Lynch and Charlotte from NXT. Suddenly, Naomi and Tamina show up, saying they have unfinished business with The Bellas and Paige. Stephanie McMahon answers that by introducing the NXT Women's Champion, Sasha Banks, who stands with Naomi and Tamina. Nikki Bella then bumps into Sasha Banks, and Banks attacks Nikki, starting a brawl. Suddenly, Kevin Owens shows up and demands a match for the title tonight so that Battleground will just be a title rematch. Rusev gets angry and argues with Owens, and as they argue, Cesaro shows up, argues with Cena, then argues with Owens and Rusev. This starts a brawl between Owens, Rusev and Cesaro.

During the break, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon officially make a Triple Threat Match of Rusev vs. Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro, with the winner getting Cena and a shot at the United States Championship. John Cena guests on commentary for this match.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up. Heyman says that ever since Rollins broke up The Shield (Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns), he's waited for someone to get his hands on him, and that at Battleground, everyone will be watching to see Rollins get his ass kicked. After both men sign, Rollins reaches under the table but is caught out by Paul Heyman. Lesnar topples the table and pulls out the axe handle that was inside, then lays it on the table and dares Rollins to grab it. He does, but Lesnar tosses the table into Rollins and attacks Kane. Kane and Rollins get the upper hand on Lesnar for a while, but Lesnar strike back and hits Kane with an F5, causing Rollins to retreat. Lesnar then slams one of the steel steps on Kane's leg, which is on top of another set of steel steps, breaking it. He calls Cena a bad winner for trying to shake hands with him after last night's match, and says it's Cena trying to hog the spotlight. He then demands Cena/Owens III...for the United States title. Since Cena's out tonight, he decides to hold an open challenge for the NXT Championship. Dolph Ziggler answers the challenge, saying he's had to scratch and claw his way to everything he's earned in the WWE, and that tonight will be no different. Before the match starts, however, Owens states he did not explicitly state that he was defending the NXT Championship, effectively making this a non-title match.

Kevin Owens beats Dolph Ziggler.

Paige holds an emergency meeting with all the other Divas, trying to get them to band together against The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella). Nobody is biting, even when she says she's challenged The Bellas to a 2-on-1 handicap match. When the Bellas show up and put down Paige, everyone else leaves.

Kane beats Randy Orton after Sheamus shows up and Kane uses the opportunity (and his Director of Operations powers) to make the rest of the match no-holds-barred. Sheamus puts Orton down with a Brogue Kick and Kane makes the cover.

Backstage, Kane runs into Seth Rollins. Rollins runs his mouth, but Kane tells him he's not the man and that he's really an idiot. Rollins tells Kane that he's always had someone holding his hand, and when he namedrops Paul Bearer, Kane goes nuts. Rollins tells Kane to hope he's not his next opponent.

Ryback guests on commentary for the next match.

The Miz beats Big Show by count-out when Big Show chops Miz in front of the commentary before tossing Miz into Ryback. Ryback and Show almost come to blows before Miz gets back in the ring and the bell rings, indicating that Show has lost by count-out. Show chases Miz out of the ring, then retreats before Ryback can hit him with a Meat Hook.

Roman Reigns shows up. He's not happy with Bray Wyatt ruining everything last night and calls him out. Wyatt appears on the TitanTron, calling the Money In The Bank Briefcase "his destiny," and makes it clear he wants revenge on Roman for spoiling his chance at glory. He is then seen looking at a picture of Roman Reigns with his daughter after asking why they should fight so close to Father's Day and set a bad example.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) beat Paige in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

Machine Gun Kelly performs his latest hit, "A Little More." After the performance, Kevin Owens shows up and confronts him before he powerbombs him off the edge at the top of the ramp and into a table below.

Neville and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods).

Kane and Dean Ambrose talk in the locker room. Ambrose says he lives for getting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship right now, and asks Kane what he lives for. Kane doesn't really seem to have an answer.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up. Stephanie announces that disciplinary action will be taken against Kevin Owens for his actions towards MGK. Triple H then says that Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury and Dean Ambrose will not be Seth Rollins' next opponent. Suddenly, Seth Rollins shows up and says it doesn't matter who his opponent is as HHH and Stephanie were right when they said nobody can take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from him. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon want to see if Rollins can evolve under pressure, and his next opponent is none other than Brock Lesnar, who hasn't been seen since the Raw after WrestleMania 31. Lesnar slowly slinks out of the ring and Lesnar just continues to stare at him.

Layin 'da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for June 4, 2015

Seth Rollins shows up. He takes a steel chair with him into the ring, then talks about how he turned on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns one year. He didn't want to share the spotlight with them as they were "beneath him," and he was the only one with the guts to pull the trigger. After that, the rest was history, and Lesnar is licking his wounds while Reigns is "living in his shadow." As for Ambrose, stealing his title belt does not make him a championship. Ambrose appears on the TitanTron, and tells Rollins that he'll always have somebody helping him win no matter what. He tells Rollins that if he wants the title back, he'll have to climb up the ladder for it, but Ambrose promises that he'll be the one walking out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) and The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto and Sin Cara) to become the new #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Renee Young interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods), who aren't worried about The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) or the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Kane shows up and tells Kofi he has a match against Neville tonight. The New Day are not happy about this.

We see more Sonic shake auditions.

Ryback beats Stardust.

Renee Young interviews Paige at the entrance ramp. She's sick of The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) holding the Divas Division back. She plans on changing the Divas Division herself.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan declare themselves family, and they're back and ready to destroy.

Kevin Owens shows up. After mocking the notion that John Cena looks at him like some sort of newbie and declares him to be delusional, he says that he will smash Cena's slogans at Money In The Bank. Owens then declares an open challenge for the NXT Championship, and Zack Ryder answers.

Kevin Owens quickly retains the NXT Championship against Zack Ryder, then attacks him some more after the match.

Renee Young interviews Sheamus. He doesn't care if Roman Reigns is favored for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match; he's taking the briefcase.

Tomorrow is the deadline for Tough Enough applications.

Neville outsmarts The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) to beat Kofi Kingston.

It's Miz TV time! Tonight's special guest is Lana. Lana says Rusev doesn't respect her, so he doesn't deserve her. Miz thinks this is a facade and that it was a business decision and a means of using Rusev, but Lana insists that it was not, and tells him that she'll either walk out or slap him in the face the rate this interview is going. Miz brings out Rusev, who is still on crutches. Rusev tells Lana he comes as a broken man, and asks for a second chance and for her to "be his crush." Lana gets up and tells him she can show you where he can put his crush. Rusev yells at Lana as Dolph Ziggler shows up, and Lana walks away with Ziggler.

Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus ends with Kane and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) showing up so that Kane can attack Reigns with a big boot. Reigns fights off Kane only to get Brogue Kicked by Sheamus, who is all of a sudden a victim of Kane's first choke slam of the night. Kane grabs the microphone and declares himself the seventh and last participant in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. After this, he hits another choke slam, this time on Roman Reigns, to end the show.
