Dwayne Schintzius of the New York Giants is in the audience.

Sensation Sherri shows up and calls out Luna Vachon for a one-on-one match. Luna shows up, but a referee is holding her back. Sherri finally attacks Luna after behind after a few moments and gets back in the ring, but she is suddenly grabbed from behind by Bam Bam Bigelow, allowing Luna to get some shots in. Tatanka makes the save for Sherri and goes after Bam Bam Bigelow, causing Bam Bam to retreat. Tatanka and the referee help Sherri to the back.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Rich Myers and The Executioner (aka Executioner Pain).

Lee Rousan, New York Giants running back, is also in the audience.

Mr. Hughes beats Bert Centeno.

WWF Royal Rumble comes out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System on June 8th!

Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna spoil Memorial Day by saying that Hulkamania will die at King of the Ring. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan waves the American flag and leads a "USA" chant from the balcony to counter Mr. Fuji and his Japanese flag to end the show.

It is announced that there will be a rematch between Shawn Michaels and Crush at King of the Ring following what happened last week on Superstars.

Doink beats Jack Armstrong with the Stump Puller. He then clotheslines Armstrong after the match.

Boni Blackstone interviews Sensational Sherri. Sherri tells Luna Vachon she knows she will hear her, and says that no matter what it takes, she will rip her hair out of her head to compensate for her lack of brains, and pluck every hair off her face one by one. When the smoke clears, Luna will be down on her knees and say she is truly sensational.

Yokozuna beats Tony Roy (who is called "Tony Ray" here).

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for this Monday night, May 31st at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) will face Yokozuna and Bam Bam Bigelow. Razor Ramon, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Marty Jannetty will also be on the card. Okerlund also advertises a show for the Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, June 12th, where Shawn Michaels faces Razor Ramon, The Undertaker squares off with Giant Gonzales, and "The Narcissist" Lex Luger faces Mr. Perfect. Okerlund then interviews Luger and Perfect for Face To Face. Perfect says Luger shines pretty good due to the grease on his body, and admits Luger is a crafty wrestler who has with all the assets to be great...but he is far from perfect. Luger says that the camera and teleprompter is the next best thing to a mirror, and says Memorial Day is an appropriate day for Mr. Perfect to sign the burial plot for his career by facing him in the ring. We then hear from Shawn Michaels, who says that Mr. Perfect and Marty Jannetty conspired to take the Intercontinental Championship, then he has to face his friend Razor Ramon. At this case, he will go through anyone the WWF puts in front of him, including Razor.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Mike Bell and Tony DeVito.

During the King of the Ring Report, we learn that Round 1 is as follows: Bret "Hit Man" vs. Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect vs. Mr. Hughes, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Bam Bam Bigelow. We hear from Harvey Wippleman and Mr. Hughes. Wippleman says that Perfect has leapt from the from the frying pan and into the fire. Mr. Hughes says Mr. Perfect is going down, for he is the man. We hear from "The Narcissist" Lex Luger and Tatanka. Luger says it is a rarity that fate can be determined ahead of time, but his undefeated streak coming to a grinding halt in two weeks is an inevitability. Tatanka tells Luger that how to realize reality was something granted upon him and his people by the gods, and in two weeks, Luger's reality will be realized and he will be sorry. We also hear from Hulk Hogan concerning his WWF Championship match against Yokozuna, who says everyone knows that he likes the decks stacked, and wants everyone across America to know that the main event is going to be marked in history as the greatest match of all time and prove that Hulkamania will live forever. He says that it was destiny that he became the greatest wrestler of all time, and that it was destiny that he bided his time until he became a five-time WWF Champion. He will prove that Hulkamania, guided by the largest arms in the world is the strongest force in the universe and prove that he can roll Yokozuna onto the mat and prove himself the greatest champion of all time. Now that he has WWF President Jack Tunney in line, he has the title shot and the title, and now he's going to prove that he can keep it.

Mr. Perfect beats Rich Myers.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund re-advertises Monday Night Raw for this Monday night, May 31st at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. He also advertises a show for the Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, June 12th, and announces that Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka will square off in the squared circle that night. He then interviews Tatanka and Bigelow for Face To Face. Tatanka says he cannot come to Madison Square Garden to get his hands on Bam Bam Bigelow. He came to the aid of Sensational Sherri, and Bam Bam responded by attacking him from behind and cutting his hair. Bam Bam says Tatanka is upset because "the Indians sold Manhattan," and says he stuck his nose in his business and attacked him from behind to embarrass and humiliate him, and he responded by cutting his hair. Tatanka says Bigelow has started a war, and he will get his revenge at Madison Square Garden.

Next week: Papa Shango vs. Bret "Hit Man" Hart! "The Narcissist" Lex Luger! The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn)! Mr. Hughes!

Razor Ramon says everyone is laughing at him, but nobody laughs at Razor Ramon. If "The Kid" wants to turn down $2500, he will up the stakes to $5000 just for him. All he has to do is step into the ring one more time, and $5000 could change his life forever. He tells "The Kid" to come and get it.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 24, 1993

Doink hides underneath the ring before the match...then appears next to Lord Alfred Hayes outside the arena and squirts water in his face. Are there two Doinks again?

Despite two Doinks pulling the old bait and switch, Mr. Perfect beats Doink to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament. As both Doinks attack Perfect after the match, Crush shows up and fights off both Doinks.

Mr. Perfect will take on Mr. Hughes in the King of the Ring Tournament on June 13th.

Hulk Hogan says Hulkamania is stronger than it's ever been, and says Yokozuna will be going down for the last time at King of the Ring.

"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase offers $100 to shine Irwin R. Schyster's shoes...and a lucky kid gets it...after taxes. He gets $30 from IRS instead.

Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) beat Mike Bell and Tony DeVito.

Crush beats Bobby Who with the Cranium Crusher.

Vince McMahon interviews Razor Ramon in the ring. He's still peeved that The Kid beat him, and insists that nobody can beat him. He says that if he can step in the ring and beat him again, he'll give him $2500. As the King of the Ring Tournament is mentioned, Razor's first round opponent Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up and starts a "1-2-3" chant before telling him he's too focused on The Kid to focus on the tournament.

Johnny Polo appears on Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's television to say that Adam Bomb is coming.

Adam Bomb beats Phil Apollo.

Next week: Bam Bam Bigelow takes on Marty Jannetty for the Intercontinental Championship! Also: The Steiner Brothers! Razor Ramon! Mr. Hughes! "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan!

Bam Bam Bigelow says he's ready for Marty Jannetty, and says he picked Luna Vachon to be in his corner in case Sensational Sherri (who is in Jannetty's corner) gets in his business again.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for May 22, 1993

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Dwayne Gill and Chris Duffy.

It is announced on Update that Razor Ramon will have a special announcement next week on Raw.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats Jerry Seavey. Before the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler announces that he will be doing his own interview segment known as "The King's Court," and his first guest will be Giant Gonzales (and Harvey Wippleman) next week. Also, Bam Bam Bigelow brings a plastic bag with a snippet of Tatanka's red hair with him, and puts it in his mouth as he hits Seavey with the top rope headbutt.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for Monday night, May 31st at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) will face Yokozuna and Bam Bam Bigelow. Razor Ramon, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Marty Jannetty will also be on the card. Okerlund also advertises a show for the Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, June 12th, where Shawn Michaels faces Razor Ramon (this time without a title on the line), The Undertaker squares off with Giant Gonzales, and "The Narcissist" Lex Luger faces Mr. Perfect. Okerlund interviews Luger and Mr. Perfect for Face To Face. Perfect and Luger make fun of each other's faces with horse puns when Okerlund says there will be no horsing around. Luger then brags about knocking Mr. Perfect unconscious, and Perfect tells Luger he will be ready for him at Madison Square Garden, saying he will be perfect. Luger says he will be perfectly awful, and says Perfect will suffer another big defeat from him. Luger, when told by Okerlund that his fan club will be at Madison Square Garden, has no idea what Okerlund is talking about, much to the amusement of Mr. Perfect.

Crush and Shawn Michaels fight to a double count-out, with neither man advancing in the King of the Ring tournament. Nevertheless, Crush puts Shawn in the Cranium Crusher.

On the King of the Ring Report, Hulk Hogan - on the set of Thunder At Paradise with Jimmy Hart - asks WWF President Jack Tunney is going to do after he presses Yokozuna to the mat. He simply asks to allow him to bring his motorcycle and tie Yokozuna to it so he can drag him around town to see if there is doubt in anybody's mind about him and whether or not Hulkamania will live forever. He says his power is felt through the Hulkamaniacs as well as the credo of his training. Long after he is dead and gone, a Hulkamaniac will hold his title, but for now, Yokozuna will feel his power. "Mean" Gene Okerlund also announces a 8-man tag team match between the group of The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) and the group of Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) at King of the Ring. We then hear from Bret "Hit Man" Hart, who says that his confidence is growing as #1 seed in the tournament He looks forward to beating Razor Ramon to prove that he is not a beaten man and that he will shoot back up to the top and become King of the Ring. He feels stronger, better and a little bit meaner. It is also announced that "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will face Bam Bam Bigelow in the tournament, and that Tatanka and "The Narcissist" Lex Luger will also meet in the first round. This week on Wrestling Challenge, Kamala meets Mr. Hughes in a qualifier, while Mr. Perfect and Doink will have a rematch for a slot for the second time on Raw. Doink says Mr. Perfect likes to run away from him some reason, but this time, there must be a winner.

Johnny Polo tells the fans to get ready for an explosion on the video screen.

The debuting Adam Bomb - managed by Johnny Polo - beats Bert Centeno.

In a public service message from the World Wrestling Federation, we hear a poem from 4th grader Jasmine McNeill of P.S. 384 in Brunswick, New York, who says that there is no hope with dope. The Undertaker suddenly pops up after the poem is over, saying "There's no hope with dope."

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan beats The Brooklyn Brawler.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises a show at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey tonight - with $2 off for kids 12 and under - where The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) will face The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu), Tatanka will face Razor Ramon, "Macho Man" Randy Savage will face Giant Gonzales, and The Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake) face Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) with the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line and Sgt. Slaughter as special guest referee. We see an interview with The Mega Maniacs from Okerlund, where Hulk Hogan brags about winning the WWF Championship and saying the tag titles are next. He says that the titanium steel mask built for Brutus kept him from being the weak link in the team like Money Inc. anticipated, and punches at it only to hurt his hand. Brutus tells Hogan not to hurt himself, as he and Jimmy Hart need him to win the big one. Hogan says they will rock and roll throughout the night, and that the tag team titles are theirs. Okerlund interviews Crush, who will face Doink that night, for Face To Face. He says that at the Meadowlands, the fans like to get as crazy as he does, and tells Doink to bring his clone to the ring tonight.

Coming soon to Super Nintendo on June 8th: WWF Royal Rumble!

Next week: A special interview with Sensational Sherri! Tatanka! The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner)! Yokozuna!

Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 17, 1993

Lord Alfred Hayes recaps Mr. Perfect's attack on Shawn Michaels as he interviewed the latter. Shawn says that somebody showed up in disguise.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Glenn Ruth and Tony Vadja in their Raw debut.

Vince McMahon interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, who is now accompanied by security as he makes his way to the ring. Michaels says he's a man of his word when it comes to becoming Intercontinental Champion, defending it against anyone and being better than Mr. Perfect, even though word around town is that he's a reluctant fighting champion. Michaels boasts he will defend the title against anybody, anywhere and anytime. Suddenly, a man in shorts and a hoodie shows up. When he takes the hood and sunglasses off, he reveals himself to be Michaels' former tag team partner in The Rockers, Marty Jannetty. Jannetty asks Michaels if he's a man of his word, and Vince brings up the idea of Michaels defending his title. Jannetty says he's ready to gear up for a match with him, and the match for the Intercontinental Championship is on, much to Shawn's reluctance and chagrin.

"The Kid" (formerly "The Kamikaze Kid" and "The Cannonball Kid" from the last two weeks) does the unthinkable: after two weeks' worth of hard luck on Raw, he wins a match against Razor Ramon. The Kid runs right to the back before he is declared to the winner, and Razor Ramon is outraged.

Tatanka beats Scott Taylor.

Bret Hart takes on Razor Ramon, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan squares off with Bam Bam Bigelow, and Tatanka goes one-on-one with Lex Luger in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. The last two qualifying matches are Shawn Michaels vs. Crush on Superstars and Kamala vs. Mr. Hughes on Wrestling Challenge.

Yokozuna beats Kamala.

Thanks to Mr. Perfect keeping Shawn Michaels from escaping and throwing his towel at him, Marty Jannetty beats Shawn Michaels to become the new WWF Intercontinental Championship in the first title change in the history of the program.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for May 15, 1993

Harvey Wippleman says Tatanka has been undefeated since he came to the World Wrestling Federation, but that will all come to a screeching halt, as he is minutes away from facing defeat at the hands of Giant Gonzales. Tatanka says Giant Gonzales will find why "The Native American" fears no man.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Mark Ming and Jim Armstrong. During the match, it is announced that the WWF Posters Six, featuring a poster of The Steiner Brothers, is now available.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for Monday night, May 17th at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. Bret "The Hit Man" will face Bam Bam Bigelow, Kamala will face Yokozuna, and Mr. Perfect and a host of other WWF Superstars will be there. Okerlund also advertises a show for the Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, June 12th, where Shawn Michaels defends the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Razor Ramon, The Undertaker squares off with Giant Gonzales, and "The Narcissist" Lex Luger faces Mr. Perfect. Okerlund interviews Mr. Perfect for Face To Face, and says he knows about the metal plate in his forearm and will continue to challenge him. He says that Luger will not be able to blindside him or beat him in the ring, and tells Luger he is looking at the ultimate wrestler who will not only teach him a wrestling lesson, but maybe even use his metal plate in his forearm against him. Also as part of Face To Face, Okerlund also interviews Shawn and Razor. Shawn says they are not going to mess up their own faces, and Razor says there will be a lot of girls there. Razor tells Shawn to go take the fat ones, as he always gets the fat ones.

Mr. Hughes beats Bobby Young. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from Reverend Slick, who says that he has always prided himself in his ability to recognize raw talent, and says there is so much about Mr. Hughes that he likes. He says that Mr. Hughes is going in the wrong direction, and wants to help him channel those energies into a positive light.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) say there is nothing like a scrap to get a man's attention, and they plan to head to the WWF for some tag team excitement.

Bob Backlund beats Terry Zeller.

Boni Blackstone interviews "The Narcissist" Lex Luger. Blackstone focuses on Luger's forearm, and mentions the metal plate, and Luger says that nothing more has to be said on the fairness of him competing with the plate in his forearm. As for referees and officials wanting him to use a protective padding on it, he says that nobody should be stirring anything that shouldn't be stirred up, and that the WWF's decision is final. As for the fans demanding that the plate be covered up, Lex Luger goes up and says he doesn't care what anybody thinks and that nobody tells him what he can or cannot do, as he is going to the top of the World Wrestling Federation, and that he will knock out ans step on anyone who gets in his way, plate or no plate, including Bret "Hit Man" Hart, for he will become the man in the WWF and he does not care who he has to knock out to do it.

Virgil beats Jose Martinez.

Join the Official WWF Fan Club for a official membership certificate, a WWF Superstar photo collage, an audio cassette of your favorite Superstars' entrance themes and much more!

Shawn Michaels beats Billy Jones. During the match, Shawn Michaels comically sits next to ring announcer Mike McGuirk with his arm across her shoulders for a few seconds.

On the King of the Ring Report, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hulk Hogan, who says that as he puts his ears down to the sands, he hears the fear in Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna's walk as they strut through Japan, as they realize that he has had it with Hollywood and is returning to the ring, and he is going to prove that winning the WWF Championship was no fluke and that Hulkamania will live forever. Hogan says that he has been on the brink of disaster, drinking his own sweat waiting for WWF President Jack Tunney's decision whether or not to strip him of the title, and even if Tunney stripped him of the title, he would rip it right back off Yokozuna's waist. It is then announced that Bret Hart will be facing Razor Ramon first in the King of the Ring. Razor Ramon says that Bret is a loser, while he is on a roll. He has carved up one opponent, and Bret will be next. We find out that "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will face Bam Bam Bigelow in the tournament, then hear from "The Narcissist" Lex Luger, who is also in the tournament. Luger says that now that he has qualified for the tournament, the winner is just a foregone conclusion; however, he will not ruin the suspense, as they have trouble finding him an opponent, who will face a sound, humiliating defeat just like all the rest. This week on Wrestling Challenge, Doink and Mr. Perfect will have a re-match for a slot in the tournament, while here on Superstars, Tatanka will face Giant Gonzales for a slot.

Tatanka beast Giant Gonzales by disqualification and qualify for the King of the Ring tournament after Gonzales shoves the referee down. Gonzales then proceeds to choke out Tatanka, then chases another referee out of the ring.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises a show at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday night, May 22nd at 8 PM - with $2 off for kids 12 and under - where Crush will face Doink, "Macho Man" goes up against Giant Gonzales and The Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake) vs. Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) with the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line and Sgt. Slaughter as special guest referee. We hear from Hogan and Brutus. Brutus says that he is not worried about Money Inc., as Sgt. Slaughter can toss both of them out with one hand and because The Mega Maniacs are the better team. The only thing he is worried about is what kind of haircut he will give Sgt. Slaughter if he gives up. Hogan says they might as well give him a Hulk Hogan haircut, and says that now that he has the WWF Championship, he is worried about how "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart will be able to hold three belts. He then tells Money Inc. to get ready to file bankruptcy, as they have seized Hart and they will seize all their assets. We then hear from Money Inc. as part of Face To Face. I.R.S. takes the time to make a formal apology to Sgt. Slaughter, and asks that Sgt. Slaughter call the match down the middle, as they take good care of their friends. DiBiase, on the other hand, feels the match should not even be taking place, as The Mega Maniacs got disqualified at WrestleMania 9.

Next week: The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) debut! Bam Bam Bigelow! "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan! Adam Bomb debuts! Crush vs. Shawn Michaels in a King of the Ring qualifying match!

Shawn Michaels says that next week, there will be a non-title match between him and Crush to see who qualifies for the King of the Ring tournament. He says that since he is WWF Intercontinental Champion, he does not have to qualify, as he is already the king. He says that Crush will soon find out that being big does not make you good; instead, being good makes you good. Crush tells Shawn that he keeps telling everyone about how good he is, and says he is good for nothing. He may have him in a non-title match, but this match is important and dictate who goes on to the tournament. He will crush Shawn and prove that he is both big and good.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 10, 1993

Mr. Perfect and Shawn Michaels brawl outside the arena before the show.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats Typhoon to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament.

This Saturday on WWF Mania, The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) will make their WWF debut!

Yokozuna beats P.J. Walker. Before the match, it is announced that Yokozuna will take on Kamala next week.

Doink and Mr. Perfect have a King of the Ring Tournament qualifying rematch on Wrestling Challenge, while Tatanka and Giant Gonzales fight each other for the right to qualify on Superstars.

Mr. Perfect beats "Iron" Mike Sharpe.

Mr. Hughes - now accompanied by Harvey Whippleman - beats the Cannonball Kid (obviously the Kamikaze Kid from the week before).

Before the main event, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan attacks Yokozuna in revenge for putting him out of action for four months. Also, Shawm Michaels limps to the ring on crutches only to be attacked by Mr. Perfect. When Michaels reacts, it is revealed the crutches were a front for him to weasel his way out of the match. It obviously doesn't work and the match goes on as scheduled, albeit with Michaels in his street clothes from Perfect's first attack on him from earlier.

The Lumberjack Match between "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship ends in a disqualification victory for Shawn Michaels after Bam Bam Bigelow gets on the apron and yells at Duggan. As the ref is distracted by Bigelow, Michaels tosses Duggan towards Yokozuna, who attacks him. Yokozuna slowly rolls Duggan back into the ring, and Michaels has the match won until Mr. Perfect attacks Michaels again, causing the referee to call for the bell. After the match, all of the lumberjacks brawl, and Duggan chases them all out with his trademark 2x4 to end the show.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for May 8, 1993

Before the next match, Irwin R. Schyster says two things are for certain: that the tax laws will always change and that the people will always find a way to cheat.

Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and Mr. Hughes beat The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) and Kamala when Kamala cannot turn I.R.S. over for the pinfall and I.R.S. pins him with a schoolboy pin.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for Monday night, May 10th at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. Advertised is a Lumberjack Match between "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. He also advertises a show at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday night, May 22nd at 8 PM - with $2 off for kids 12 and under - where "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Giant Gonzales will have a one-on-one match-up. Okerlund then interviews Harvey Wippleman and Giant Gonzales. Wippleman says Savage will do his best impression of a BB gun pellet when he gets in the ring with Gonzales, and that all the "ignorant Yankees" need to find their way to the Meadowlands Arena so they can really see "the real southern boy from Argentina" embarrass and humiliate "Macho Man" Randy Savage one final time. He then goes on to say that Savage is an ignorant Yankee himself just for signing the contract for the match. He also interviews Crush, who will face Doink that night. Crush says he has one big score to settle with Doink, where he took him around the ring and took him apart, and says that the second Doink was the only thing that saved him. He dares Doink to bring his double to the ring.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) are coming soon to the WWF...

Yokozuna beats Sean Dakota. During the match, it is announced that Hulk Hogan is on the cover of WWF Magazine, and that "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart is on the inside.

We see the King of the Ring Report. Mr. Fuji (with Yokozuna) says that last time, Yokozuna was not prepared after going twenty hard minutes with Bret "Hit Man" Hart, but now, Yokozuna is prepared for Hogan and he will become the WWF Champion again. Fuji says Hogan will pay. "The Narcissist" Lex Luger says that he finds it amazing that he had to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament, and says that Bob Backlund had to pay the price for that. He says that he cannot wait to face the #1 seed, Bret "Hit Man" Hart, as he will write the final chapter and put an end to his career. It is then announced that "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Papa Shango will square off to see who qualifies for the tournament this week on Wrestling Challenge, while Typhoon and Bam Bam Bigelow will do the same next week on Raw. Next, Razor Ramon will face "El Matador" Tito Santana for a slot at the tournament.

Crush beats Steve Vega with the Cranium Crusher.

We hear from Luna Vachon, who says that she will haunt Sensational Sherri's very breath and be her shadow in the darkness, and soon, she will wipe her from this earth. Then, she will be the goddess of the squared circle. Sensational Sherri says Luna attacked her from behind at WrestleMania 9, and on top of that, she attacked her again in the emergency room. If Luna wants a piece of her, she can come and get it, as she invented mean and she will take her anytime, anywhere, one-on-one.

Razor Ramon beats "El Matador" Tito Santana after using Santana's momentum against him following a top rope cross body and grabbing the tights to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund re-advertises a show at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday night, May 22nd at 8 PM, with $2 off for kids 12 and under. Also on this card is The Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake) vs. Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) with the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line and Sgt. Slaughter as the special guest referee. Okerlund then interviews Money Inc. DiBiase says that they have had the tag titles for a while, and nothing will change. As for Sgt. Slaughter, he smells a rat with him as special guest referee, and says that The Mega Maniacs got frustrated at WrestleMania 9 and now want a referee in their back pocket. We then go to Sgt. Slaughter, who says that what happened at WrestleMania 9 will not happen again, and he will take care of the situation this time around. I.R.S. complains about The Mega Maniacs taking and spending all their money, but Slaughter says he was there at WrestleMania 9 and saw what happened.

Raymond Rougeau interviews Harvey Wippleman and Giant Gonzales. Next week, Giant Gonzales will face Tatanka, and Wippleman is reminded that he has not seen the last of The Undertaker. Wippleman admits that The Undertaker has kept on coming back, but that is because of sheer stupidity and that The Undertaker does not have enough sense to realize that when he signed for one more match with Gonzales, it would be his final match, and when The Undertaker gets carried out again, he will not get up and he will be carried out to stay, once and for all. As far as Tatanka is concerned, he will be the next in a long line of opponents eliminated from the World Wrestling Federation by Giant Gonzales, as Tatanka will get in the ring for a King of the Ring tournament qualifying match only to be knocked out of the tournament and out of the WWF. Gonzales simply says "Goodbye, Indian."

Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 3, 1993

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan beats Shawn Michaels by count-out. However, Shawn Michaels retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Duggan is disappointed with Michaels' hasty retreat, and says he's not leaving until he gets another shot at him. He tosses a few chairs into the ring to get the point across.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is still in the ring after the commercial break. He leaves the ring during the King of the Ring report, calling WWF President Jack Tunney for a shot at Shawn Michaels' Intercontinental title.

This week's King of the Ring qualifying matches include "El Matador" Tito Santana versus Razor Ramon on Superstars, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan versus Papa Shango on Wrestling Challenge.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for May 1, 1993

Raymond Rougeau interviews Paul Bearer and The Undertaker. Paul Bearer says that not only is The Undertaker unstoppable, but that he is the most powerful entity in the World Wrestling Federation as well as the face of the earth. He says that The Undertaker is heading for Giant Gonzales. The Undertaker tells Giant Gonzales he has grown tired of his futile attempts at destroying what cannot be destroyed, and not only will he draw power from the souls of the deceased, he will draw power from the souls of the living. He has met Giant Gonzales in his element; now Giant Gonzales must meet him in his and enter the world of the dark side, where only he can survive and Giant Gonzales will be made to suffer. He tells Giant Gonzales to rest in peace.

The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) beat Scott Bazo and Bob Young.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for Monday night, May 10th at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. He also advertises a show at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday night, May 22nd at 8 PM - with $2 off for kids 12 and under - where Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) will square off against The Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake). It is announced that Sgt. Slaughter will be the special guest referee for the match to keep it under control. We then see an interview with The Mega Maniacs from Okerlund. Hulk says he feels like a multi-million dollar man since WrestleMania 9, but it's really just the five-time WWF Champion in disguise. He says Money Inc. has been bankrolled and their assets seized once, but their biggest treasure was "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, who is now managing The Mega Maniacs. Now that Hart is on their side and they have the WWF Championship, they are going for the tag titles again. Brutus says the titanium steel plates will tell the real story, and that this time, Money Inc. will be the ones getting split instead of a split decision.

We see a vignette for The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn), who say they've heard about nothing but trouble in the tag team division. They then shoot bottles and cans with their pistols, and with nothing like a little scrap to get a man's attention, they are heading to the WWF and look for some tag team excitement. They then shoot more bottles. When the smoke clears, they will go down...1...2...3.

virgil beats The White Shadow.

On the King of the Ring Report - a report for King of the Ring, a new WWF event coming to pay-per-view on June 13th - there will be a single-elimination eight-man tournament. Bracketing through means of qualifying matches will start this week. Superstars involved include Bret "Hit Man" Hart, who is seeded #1 by WWF President Jack Tunney. We then hear from Bret, who says he is gathering his thoughts to return to the top, and taking his fans with him as he becomes King of the Ring. He is now in the #1 seed, and he feels sorry for whoever gets in the ring with him. Okerlund also announces that the WWF Championship will be on the line when Hulk Hogan defends the title against Yokozuna. We hear from Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji. Mr. Fuji is not happy his appeal was overruled, and at King of the Ring, Hogan will lose the built as quickly as he won it, as Yokozuna will be fresh this time around unlike at WrestleMania 9. We then hear from Hulk Hogan, who was on the set of Thunder In Paradise in Clearwater, Florida in a pre-recorded interview with Okerlund. Hogan says he is only in Hollywood is simply because it was a prior commitment, and he plans to hang on to the WWF Championship. He says that the ring crew had better have the ring reinforced, for when he gets Yokozuna in the air, he will press him over his head, show him off to the Hulkamaniacs in the arena, and when Yokozuna splits the ring in half, he will go down for a second time. As for Mr. Fuji or anyone else who messes with him or anyone on his side, he is messing with family, which he regards more than life. At King of the Ring, Yokozuna will have a date with disaster, and he will get a haircut and look like Mr. Fuji thanks to Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. It is then announced that Bob Backlund and "The Narcissist" Lex Luger will face each other for a seed on Wrestling Challenge, and Doink and Mr. Perfect will go at it for a slot here on Superstars this week.

Doink vs. Mr. Perfect wrestle to a time limit draw, and neither man qualifies for the King of the Ring Tournament. During the match, we are supposed to hear pre-recorded comments from Crush, but we get Doink instead, who suddenly pops up on the screen, says that it is an illusion, then disappears just as instantly.

We hear from Bam Bam Bigelow, who says he had the last laugh last week when he attacked Tatanka backstage and cut his hair. Tatanka says his red hair, which symbolizes his people, is sacred, and when Bam Bam Bigelow desecrated his heritage, it started a fire that will burn until he gets his revenge.

Typhoon beats Larry Ludden.

"The Narcissist" Lex Luger vs. Terry Zeller ends before it begins when Luger knocks Zeller out with a running forearm for standing in front of his mirror. During the match, it is announced that "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will face Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship next week on Raw.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund re-advertises Monday Night Raw for Monday night, May 10th at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. Tonight at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York - with kids 12 and under getting in for $2 less - Shawn Michaels defends the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Mr. Perfect. We hear from Mr. Perfect, who says that everywhere he goes, he hears about how Shawn jumped him from behind and treated him like a piece of garbage. Mr. Perfect says he is not a piece of garbage, and that Shawn is. He says Shawn's problem is that he is walking around like he is the king of the ring, but he is a two-time Intercontinental Champion and he knows what it takes to hold the title. He says Shawn has great assets, but he is Mr. Perfect, and that Shawn is about to get what is coming to him. Also on the Nassau Coliseum card, Bret "Hit Man" Hart faces "The Narcissist" Lex Luger. We then hear from Luger, who asks if it is unfair that he is genetically superior while everyone else is genetically shortchanged, if is it fair that he has a steel plate implanted in his forearm after a motorcycle accident that WWF President Jack Tunney can do nothing about it, and if it is fair that Bret "Hit Man" Hart was knocked out at the WrestleMania brunch and subsequently lost the WWF Championship. He says it isn't, and says he will write the final chapter of Bret's career the next time they meet in the ring. Also on the Nassau card: Bob Backlund faces Blake Beverly, Kamala faces Bam Bam Bigelow, The Headshrinkers face an unknown opponent, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan takes on Yokozuna.

Next week: The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) and Kamala vs. Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and Mr. Hughes! "El Matador" Tito Santana vs. Razor Ramon in a qualifying match for the King of the Ring Tournament!

Razor Ramon tells "El Matador" Tito Santana that next week to bring it, don't sing it, next week. Santana tells Razor Ramon that when the bell sounds, this Mexican will be coming at him and he intends to put it to him.
