Mr. Perfect beats Louie Spicolli. During the match, we hear from "The Narcissist" Lex Luger, who says that being impressed with his debut isn't good enough, and says that the people were absolutely awestruck as they have never seen such mesomorphic magnificence beyond perfection. As for the challenge from Mr. Perfect, all he has heard is perfect silence, and tells Perfect to consider himself warned.

Sean Mooney announces a Super Bowl party to benefit The Miami Project - in honor of New York Jets star Dennis Bird - tomorrow afternoon at 5 P.M. at Caffe Angelica, 2370 Jericho Turnpike, Garden City Park, New York. When Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna comes to America and talks about "lazy American workers" who cannot make good products, someone has to do something about it, and he is that man. He is aware that nobody has been able to knock Yokozuna off of his feet, and he challenges Yokozuna to bring his flag and Mr. Fuji to the ring, and not only will he knock him off his feet, but he will wave the flag over him as he will not stop, quit or waver, for as long as there is air in his lungs and blood in his heart, he will attack.

We hear Sensational Sherri talk about how Marty Jannetty was the only man who came to her aid after Royal Rumble, and lets Marty know he can depend on her from now on. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake Beverly).

Shawn Michaels retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Marty Jannetty. As for whose side The Sensational Sherri is on? When Michaels confronts Sherri, Janetty jumps him, starting a brawl in the back.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats The Big Boss Man.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart retains the WWF Championship against Razor Ramon with the Sharpshooter.

As for Mr. Perfect, Luger will show him just how great he is if he has the guts to take the challenge.

Yokozuna wins the Royal Rumble, eliminating "Macho Man" Randy Savage last, who makes the fatal mistake of pinning Yokozuna near the ropes after somehow getting him off his feet. Yokozuna goes on to the WWF Championship match against Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at WrestleMania 9.

He says squashing his little brother Owen Hart like a cockroach was fun, and if he sees his father walking the street, he may slap his face, too, as he takes whatever he wants, and he wants Bret. Bret dares him to come out from backstage, as they don't have to wait until Royal Rumble to do this, but Razor says nobody tells him what to do or when to do it. Razor tells Bret that if he wants him, he has him this Sunday at Royal Rumble, and that there is nothing Bret, his fans or his family can do to stop him from taking the WWF Championship. Mr. Perfect says all sizes of men will be in the Royal Rumble Match, but he will be the only one who is perfect. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair may have won last year only because he advised him on how to win it, and this year, he's winning it for himself and for the WWF Championship, because he is what he says he is: perfect. Bob Backlund says he has waited 10 long years to win the Royal Rumble Match and face the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 9, and he will do it if he wins the Royal Rumble. Yokozuna beats Koko B. Ware.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan tells Mr. Perfect that he has heard him asking questions of the other wrestlers about Narcissus, and says that comparing Mr. Perfect to Narcissus would be like comparing ice cream to horse manure. He says that when he unleashes Narcissus at Royal Rumble, even Perfect will be convinced that Narcissus is from another world.

The Steiner Brothers (Scott and Rick Steiner) beat The Executioners (Pain and Agony). During the match, Doink the Clown is seen in the audience clowning around.

The All-American Boys - All-American Wrestling Recap for January 10, 1993

"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are in New York City, New York the day before the premiere edition of Monday Night Raw. Okerlund and Heenan argue about how they got there, with Okerlund saying that his driver could have gotten them over here quickly while Heenan says that while his driver doesn't know a word of English, he really knows his way around and is super-cheap. Okerlund makes note of the cheapness of Heenan's driver. Heenan waves at the Statue of Liberty, then ducks a pigeon. Okerlund then says he can't wait to get to the Manhattan Center, where Raw will take place tomorrow night. Heenan says that while he's not on the show and is not involved in any way, he holds no hard feeling towards Okerlund and will help get him there for cheap. Okerlund has the feeling he is not in the most capable of hands, then kicks off the opening match.

The Undertaker beats Scott Zappa. After the match, Scott Zappa is placed in a bodybag.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is in the back of a limousine driven by a man named Zappo. They then plug WWF Mania, and Heenan talks about how Razor Ramon sent a message to Bret "Hit Man" Hart that he will take the WWF Championship from him at Royal Rumble by attacking "The Rocket" Owen Hart on the premiere episode. Okerlund then mentions that he and Heenan have passed the Empire State Building three times, implying that their driver is lost.

Kamala beats Todd Becker. Kim Chee and Harvey Wippleman abuse Kamala after the match, then Reverend Slick shows up from out and confronts Kim Chee and Wippleman over their treatment of Kamala. Kim Chee punches Slick out, then Kamala finally has enough and chops Kim Chee out of the ring before chasing Wippleman to the back.

We look back on Razor Ramon's attack on "The Rocket" Owen Hart during an interview on WWF Mania. Razor Ramon says that Bret "Hit Man" Hart is upset that he attacked his brother Owen, and that he made it personal. Razor then tells Bret that at Royal Rumble, he's next. We then hear from Bret, who tells Razor Ramon that he'll have to pound out some bully for beating up one of his little brothers, and that when he steps in the ring with him at Royal Rumble, he'll not only prove that he's a good fighter, but that he'll pound the daylights out of him.

The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) beat two unnamed opponents, then take a bite out of the guy they pinned. Before the match, Afa, Samu and Fatu are seen eating a raw meat sandwich, obviously wordplay referring to tomorrow night's premiere of Monday Night Raw.

It is announced that the WWF will be the first sports-entertainment group to aid the food crisis in Somalia, and will donate a minimum of $100,000 to the Somalia Relief Fund. Proceeds from the January 29th show in Madison Square Garden will be donated to the American Red Cross to send medicine, food and relief supplies for the starving in Somalia. Sean Mooney acts that fans send donations to the Somalia Relief Fund at P.O. Box 9131, Church Street Station, New York, NY, 10256, then advertises Royal Rumble. We then hear from "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, who says that he can't think of a better way to start the year off than by winning the Royal Rumble match. He says that wherever you find money, you will find him, and he and Irwin R. Schyster will definitely be at Royal Rumble. In case they're the last two men in the Rumble, it's business as usual, but all the money goes to Money Inc. (DiBiase, Schyster), and they can't lose. We also hear from "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who says he hears people talking about him. He says there are no friends in the Royal Rumble match, and says he's going to win it regardless of what happens.

It is a chilly evening in New York City, and "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are in the middle of Times Square - nowhere near the Manhattan Center - because Zappo, their limo driver, dumped them there because he ran out of gas. Heenan says he'll be back, and at this point Okerlund sees no use in arguing with Heenan. Heenan then talks about the secret he has in Narcissus at Royal Rumble before having contention with some of the people out on the street, then Okerlund leads us to the next match, already in progress.

Marty Jannetty beats Repo Man with a crucifix pin.

We see a repeat of Rene Rougeau's interview with the clown that has been seen in the crowd for the past few weeks. We see that the clown's arm is in a sling, and says his name is Doink. He laughs when reminded of how he tripped Big Boss Man on his way to the ring, put a mop in Tatanka's eye, threw water on Marty Jannetty (saying he needed a bath anyway), and reminds Rougeau of the banana's beneath Bob Backlund's feet. Rougeau says Doink is the only person laughing here, and says that clowns are supposed to be funny. Doink says he enjoys entertaining the kids, then looking at their smiles and wanting to take those smiles away as he goes from happy-go-lucky to dark and serious. Rougeau reminds him that Crush gave him a severe warning last week on Superstars, and tells him that it's one thing to pull pranks on WWF Superstars but something completely different when the kids are involved. Doink says he's just having a good time, but Rougeau says the jokes are at someone's else expense. Doink doesn't care whose expense the jokes are, then squirts Rougeau with the flower on his jacket before rolling on the floor laughing.

It is announced that Shawn Michaels will defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Marty Jannetty at Royal Rumble, and that Sensational Sherri will be at ringside, even though it is unknown whose corner she will be in. We then hear from Shawn, who says nobody has been more undeserving of an Intercontinental title shot than Jannetty, but being "Mr. Cool," he's decided to give him one anyway. Shawn then states that Sherri will be in his corner, even though he hasn't had a chance to talk to her. We then hear from Jannetty, who says that January 24th will be "Marty Jannetty Day" as he will take the Intercontinental title and end Shawn's career, telling Shawn that he doesn't know Sherri as much as he thinks he does, implying that Sherri might be in his corner.

Mr. Fuji speaks for Yokozuna, who tells everyone to look at Yokozuna, saying no one can move him or lift him off his feet. At 505 pounds, Yokozuna will become the Royal Rumble winner. Duggan says the Royal Rumble is his kind of match, as you nail anything that moves and there are no friends or foe. Even though he cannot promise he will win the match, he will give it 110%.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Butch Banks and Rock Werner in a repeat match from Superstars. During the match, we hear pre-recorded comments from the Steiners. Scott says they don't know if WWF is ready for them, but at Royal Rumble, The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake Beverly) will know. Rick says that they've made their New Year's resolutions, and The Beverly Brothers aren't going to like them.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are back in the limo and inside a tunnel. Heenan says Zappo knows where he's going, but Okerlund has the feeling that Heenan doesn't want him to make it to Monday Night Raw as he is jealous that he won't be there. Heenan insists he still holds no ill will, then Okerlund plugs Royal Rumble and the Madison Square Garden show benefiting Somalia Relief fund.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan finally make it to the Manhattan Center. Tomorrow night on Raw, The Undertaker will face Damien Demento, and Yokozuna will face Koko B. Ware. We then hear from Shawn Michaels, who is defending the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Marty Jannetty. He tells Jannetty that he reeks of jealousy. He cannot blame him, but there is a lot to be jealous of, as he is the hottest dude in the WWF, the Intercontinental Champion, he is rich, good-looking, and has it all. Meanwhile, Jannetty has nothing, and that is not going to change. Jannetty says this is a good opportunity for him, as he has a shot at Shawn Michaels - something he has wanted for a long time - as well as the Intercontinental Championship. There is nothing anybody can do to keep him from taking his title and his career.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan tells Mr. Perfect that he has heard him asking questions of the other wrestlers about Narcissus, and says that comparing Mr. Perfect to Narcissus would be like comparing ice cream to horse manure. Doink says he love entertaining the children before looking at their smiles and thinking about taking those smiles away. Rougeau reminds Doink that Crush warned him not to make the children sad, but Doink says he's having a good time. Rougeau says he's having a good time, but Rougeau says he's having a good time at someone else's expenses. Doink doesn't care whose expense he has fun at, and squirts water into Raymond Rougeau's face.

Prime Time Players - Prime Time Wrestling recap for January 4, 1993

Tonight's episode is a special one-hour edition of Prime Time Wrestling, which celebrates some of the best moments of the show's history. Gorilla Monsoon accuses Bobby "The Brain" Heenan of being the direct cause of the show's demise, and that it makes him glad that Vince McMahon has decided that Heenan will not be involved in the show that is taking Prime Time's place: Monday Night Raw. Heenan says he wants to be a part of it as he is "Mr. Television," and that they gave him a chance with The Bobby Heenan Show, which only lasted four episodes. We then see a moment from that show's brief history, where a belly dancer stands on Jamison Winger's back and dances on him.

The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) beat Virgil and "El Matador" Tito Santana.

Vince McMahon, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan talk about Royal Rumble, where the winner gets a shot at the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 9. Monsoon says that Heenan puts his money on Razor Ramon winning the WWF Championship in his match against Bret "Hit Man" Hart. Vince calls Heenan out on "not being fair to Flair." We then look back at the time that Bobby Heenan got blown up with dynamite on the set of a Western movie.

"Terrific" Terry Taylor beats Dale Wolfe.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan tells Mr. Perfect that he has heard him asking questions of the other wrestlers about Narcissus, and says that comparing Mr. Perfect to Narcissus would be like comparing ice cream to horse manure. He says horse manure has its place in this world, even perfect horse manure, but Narcissus is so beyond perfect that he could very well be from another galaxy. He says that when he unleashes Narcissus at Royal Rumble, even Perfect will be convinced that Narcissus is from another world.

Bret "Hit Man" Hart tells Razor Ramon that they have made their match for the WWF Championship personal after attacking his brother "The Rocket" Owen Hart. Hart says that if Razor wanted his attention, he's got it, and promises Razor that the Hart family will get its revenge.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage, The Undertaker, "The Million Dollar Man" DiBiase, Irwin R. Schyster, Mr. Perfect, Bob Backlund, The Beserker, Yokozuna, Tatanka, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The King" Jerry Lawler, Earthquake, Carlos Colon, Crush, Papa Shango, and Rick "The Model" Martel are confirmed for the Royal Rumble match.

Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and Jimmy Hart are excited that they are in the Royal Rumble match, as "twenty-eight different tag teams are in the ring at the same time, excluding themselves." DiBiase says that they both think they're the best, and if it's just the two of them in the ring, then may the best man win. Either way, the money and the gold will all be in Money Inc.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair says he won it last year to become the WWF Champion, and this year, he plans to do it again as he comes for Mr. Perfect.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) tell The Beverly Brothers (Blake and Beau Beverly) that they have the privilege of facing them at their very first Royal Rumble, and that when they're done, the pleasure will be all theirs. They won't take The Beverly Brothers lightly, and they'll be the only ones celebrating when the match is over.

Vince McMahon, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan talk about Royal Rumble elimination strategies, ponder how Yokozuna will be eliminated, and look back at the time when Heenan commandeered a yacht and tried to convince Monsoon that he owned it.

Shawn Michaels beats Skinner.

Tickets are now available for next week's Monday Night Raw.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan says he'll think of something to be at next week's Monday Night Raw, and Vince McMaon and Gorilla Monsoon would like to see how he does, especially when he "leaves his brand on just about everything he has participated him" and has a certain smell to him. Heenan says that smell is "like fine wine." Monsoon brings up the time that Heenan made wine with Andre the Giant, saying that he even messed that up, and Heenan doesn't want the footage shown. Unfortunately for Heenan, that footage is shown.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Red Tyler and W.T. Jones in a replay from Wrestling Challenge.

Vince McMahon thanks the fans' support for Prime Time Wrestling through the years before annoucing the premiere of Monday Night Raw. Heenan says he'll be there at Raw somehow, then Jamison Winger - Heenan's assistant from The Bobby Heenan Show - shows up from out of nowhere and awards him with an ear of corn from out of his jacket as a "Corny Award" for being so corny, and tells him he has some macaroni as well, in case he wants that. The thought of where the corn and macaroni has been makes Heenan want to throw up, and he immediately runs off the set as Vince bids the viewers farewell one last time.

That is why he will soon unveil at Royal Rumble someone who is "beyond perfect" who not only has a high opinion of himself but is also honestly in love with himself. When Mr. Perfect feasts his eyes on the person he unveils, he will look back and say he was not perfect at all, and that he did not measure up without the influence of Bobby Heenan. He knows Bam Bam Bigelow has been wiping out opponents one after another since he showed up, but that does not mean he cannot get the Sharpshooter around him. Bret says he is famous for being the greatest and best technical wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation, which is why will he be and stay champion after January 29th. Flair says that he won it all last year and won the vacant WWF Championship in an hour and ten minutes, and this year, he'll be coming for everyone again. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), soon to be facing The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake Beverly) at Royal Rumble, say that the pleasure will be all theirs, as they will not take them lightly and they will be the only ones celebrating when the match is over.

Crush beats Dave Sigfrids with the Cranium Crusher. During the match, the clown comes back and squirts water at people in the aisle.
