Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for October 9, 1993

Men on a Mission (Mabel and Mo) beat Damien Demento and Rock Werner.

Bret "Hit Man" Hart says hearing that "The King" Jerry Lawler is the undisputed king of the WWF makes him sick, especially when he had him in the Sharpshooter for two-and-a-half minutes and came just short of ending his career. He can make one promise right now: if he can make a promise right now, it will be that if he gets in the ring with Lawler again, it will be the end of him.

Adam Bomb beats Mitch Bishop.

Lex Luger is on the cover on the newest issue of WWF Magazine on newsstands this Tuesday, and inside is an article on Adam Bomb.

Joe Fowler advertises a show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for Friday night, October 29th with a triple main event. Lex Luger will take on Ludvig Borga, Bret "Hit Man" Hart and "The King" Jerry Lawler will square off in a grudge match, Mr. Perfect and Razor Ramon will team up against Irwin R. Schyster and Diesel, Marty Jannetty will be taking on "The Model" Rick Martel, and The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) will defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn). Fowler then interviews Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga for Face To Face. Despite his anti-American rhetoric, Lex Luger admit that Ludvig Borga has racked up quite the record, but he is now at the top of the World Wrestling Federation, where it doesn't get any keener or stiffer. He is glad to be the first one in line to give him a big U.S.A. welcome to the World Wrestling Federation and show him what competition is all about. Ludvig says he will give him a European farewell for his career, because if this is the top of the ladder, then he is not impressed with the WWF, Luger or America. When he pins him, he will stay down.

We see highlights of last week's Intercontinental Championship battle royal from Raw.

Mr. Perfect beats Red Tyler (whose tights are a tad small and make for a few posterior jokes on commentary).

Boni Blackstone interviews Bam Bam Bigelow and Luna Vachon. Bam Bam says there was nothing funny about last week, and says "The King" Jerry Lawler was right was about Doink. He let the confetti bucket prank slide the first two times, but the third time, he dumped water on Luna's head. He says that hearing Doink's name drives him crazy as Luna is in a frenzy. Bam Bam says he will make him pay for his pranks and humiliating him and Luna, and when he gets done with him, Doink will wish he was back in the circus on top of a tightrope.

Grudges, Gripes and Grunts is now available on Coliseum Home Video. In the video, Bam Bam Bigelow and Luna Vachon take a cruise on a yacht.

Well Dunn (Timothy Well and Steve Dunn), now accompanied by Harvey Wippleman, beat Jerry Fox and Virgil.

The Undertaker beats Rod Bell. It is announced that The Undertaker is on the cover of Superstars VIII, on newsstands now. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler draws a picture of Yokozuna with the Magistrator.

Mr. Nanny, starring Hulk Hogan, premiered in theaters this weekend.

WWF Royal Rumble...coming soon to Genesis!

The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) beat Steve Nixon and Tony Bithera.

Joe Fowler re-advertises the show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for Friday night, October 29th. He then interviews The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre, with Johnny Polo) and The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) for Face To Face. Polo says the Smoking Gunns are rugged, but The Quebecers do not think much of them. Bart Gunn says The Quebecers do a lot of talking, but they do their talking in the ring, and Billy Gunn tells them that that they will become the tag team champs on the first shot just like The Quebecers did. Polo says The Gunns are climbing the ladder, while they are the top of the ladder and they will stay there after October 29th.

Next week: Two of the main events for Survivor Series are revealed! The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre)! The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Pat Tanaka! Ludvig Borga! Highlights from the Intercontinental Championship match on next Monday's Raw!

"The Model" Rick Martel says that he will be wrestling Razor Ramon for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and he will be the winner because when it comes to him and Razor in the ring, Razor does not cut it. Razor Ramon says this Monday night, The Bad Guy meets The Model for the Intercontinental Championship, and he tells Martel that he is leaving with all the gold.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for July 10, 1993

We see footage from last Sunday, July 4th at The Stars and Stripes Challenge at the USS Intrepid. Many American pro athletes tried, and even a few Superstars, but none could slam Yokozuna. Crush came close but was forced to put him down, and even "Macho Man" Randy Savage could not do it. All of sudden, a helicopter lands, and Lex Luger - no longer a narcissist and dressed in blue jeans and an American flag shirt - climbs out and heads to the ring. Fuji tells Luger that the contest is over, he says that ever since King of the Ring, Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna have been under his skin. He says there is nothing wrong with America, but he says there is something with "blood-sucking leeches" like Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna putting American down. Fuji spits on Luger, then Luger grabs Fuji and tosses him out of the ring. After hitting him with the steel-plated forearm, Luger picks Yokozuna up and slams him into the mat to thunderous applause.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Rock Warner and W.T. Jones. During the match, it is announced that the newest issue of WWF Magazine - with Bret Hart on the cover and photos of The Smoking Gunns inside - will be available on newsstands this Tuesday.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for July 19th at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. Men on a Mission (Mabel, Oscar, Mo) will debut there, and "The King" Jerry Lawler will host an edition of The King's Court with special guest, singer and musician Tiny Tim. Also, The Undertaker will face Mr. Hughes one-on-one. He also advertises a show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, August 13, where Yokozuna will defend the WWF Championship against Bret "Hit Man" Hart in a Steel Cage Match. Hart and Yokozuna (with Mr. Fuji) are interviewed for Face To Face. Hart appreciates the fact that Yokozuna was slammed on the USS Intrepid, and says it proves anything is possible. He says that Madison Square Garden is like his backyard, and a Steel Cage Match, despite being very dangerous, has to work in his favor as 550 lbs. has a lot of trouble climbing out of the cage and a lot of trouble "getting that big butt through the door." Even better, Mr. Fuji can't stick his nose in his business, as he has Yokozuna all to himself. Mr. Fuji is angry with WWF President Jack Tunney booking this match, as all Bret has to do is run away to win the title. He promises that Bret will pay.

Before the next match, Doink appears on the video screen, saying Crush is so stupid that he does not know if there is one Doink, two Doinks, four Doinks or even sixteen Doinks. As Doink speaks, Doink pops up out of the ring and stands behind Crush. The Doink on the video screen says Crush should be concerned with the Doink behind him instead. The Doink in the ring gets a cheap shot, starting the next match.

Crush beats Doink by count-out. After the match, Crush tosses Doink out of the ring when he gets back in for more, and is kept out of the ring by the referee. As Crush watches Doink leave, another Doink pops up from underneath the ring and attacks Crush from behind with a stick. The real Doink gets back in the ring, and both Doinks take the boots to Crush as referees try to stop them.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) vs. Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) for the WWF Tag Team Championships: next week on Superstars!

Shawn Michaels beats Kevin Krueger. During the match, it is announced that an article featuring Shawn Michaels and Mr. Perfect is in the newest issue of WWF Magazine, available on newsstands this Tuesday.

On the SummerSlam Report, Bret "Hit Man" Hart tells "The King" Jerry Lawler that he wanted a fight and that Lawler had to start one with the Hit Man. He started a war, and he has now started a fire underneath him that only he can put out, and that Lawler started something only he can finish. Lawler may have assaulted him at King of the Ring and ruined the coronation ceremony, but when he steps in the ring with him at SummerSlam, Lawler will be in the ring with a totally different breed of cat. He will wipe Lawler out and destroy him, and he will take him to the gallows, where he will be excellently executed.

Men on a Mission (Mabel and Mo) beat Chad Miller and Mitch Bishop in their WWF debut, which also debuts the rapping skills of Oscar.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund re-advertises the show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, August 13. Mr. Perfect, Tatanka and Marty Jannetty meet Shawn Michaels, Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow in a six-man tag match, while "Macho Man' Randy Savage will face "The King" Jerry Lawler. Back at the commentary table, Vince McMahon hypes the match up. Lawler says he has proved who the only king of the World Wrestling Federation and will prove it at SummerSlam, and says Savage will be a warm-up. Savage says there will be "rockin' and reelin' and dancin' on the ceilin'" at Madison Square Garden, but Lawler says he will be the party pooper. Lawler then tells all the New Yorkers to get down on their hands and knees and kiss his feet, and bow down to the real king of wrestling. He says Savage will be doing the same thing, and that he will stick his scepter so far down his throat, they will need a crane to pull it out.

Next week: Lex Luger! The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) vs. Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster)!

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for January 2, 1993

Mr. Perfect beats The Berzerker. During the match, The Berzerker tries to cut Mr. Perfect's head off with his sword but fails. Also during the match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up and tries to distract Mr. Perfect despite referees keeping him out of the ring, and The Berzerker takes advantage a few times. After the match, Mr. Perfect drop kicks The Berzerker out of the ring.

During the Update, we hear from Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, who tells Mr. Perfect that he has a high opinion of himself by calling himself a perfect athlete and wrestler. He says that when "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is done with him, he will be flawed, scarred and tarnished. That is why he will soon unveil at Royal Rumble someone who is "beyond perfect" who not only has a high opinion of himself but is also honestly in love with himself. When Mr. Perfect feasts his eyes on the person he unveils, he will look back and say he was not perfect at all, and that he did not measure up without the influence of Bobby Heenan. Heenan says Perfect will wish he could look like "Narcissus." He says that at Royal Rumble, the mouths of every man, woman and child will drop along with the drape.

We see an advertisement for the IcoPro professional bodybuilding program.

Yokozuna beats George Anderson. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from Earthquake, who says Yokozuna is coming into the Royal Rumble match as the biggest man and that he will make sure that Yokozuna does not win.

Sean Mooney advertises the January 11th and January 18th shows for Monday Night Raw in the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. It is announced that the WWF will be the first sports-entertainment group to aid the food crisis in Somalia, and will donate a minimum of $100,000 to the Somalia Relief Fund. Proceeds from the January 29th show in Madison Square Garden will be donated to the American Red Cross to send medicine, food and relief supplies for the starving in Somalia. Sean Mooney acts that fans send donations to the Somalia Relief Fund at P.O. Box 9131, Church Street Station, New York, NY, 10256. Mooney then advertises the Madison Square Garden show's main event for the WWF Championship between Bam Bam Bigelow and Bret "Hit Man" Hart. We hear from Bret, who says that the bigger they are, the harder they fall. He says Bam Bam is one of the biggest, and he will fall by the wayside with the rest. He knows Bam Bam Bigelow has been wiping out opponents one after another since he showed up, but that does not mean he cannot get the Sharpshooter around him. Bret says he is famous for being the greatest and best technical wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation, which is why will he be and stay champion after January 29th. He says Bam Bam Bigelow may have faced a lot of wrestlers, but he has not faced a wrestle quite like the excellence of execution.

We get a sneak peek of the premier of WWF Mania with some footage of Razor Ramon attacking "The Rocket" Owen Hart in a locker room.

Marty Jannetty beats Tom Stone. During the match, the clown returns with a bucket, and drinks a cup of water from it. After the match, Marty Jannetty and the clwon meet again, but this time there is no water in the bucket when the clown proceeds to douse Jannetty again.

Damian Demento beats Mitch Bishop. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler draws a picture of the clown from earlier, saying the voice Damien Demento is listening and talking to is really the clown.

We hear from Bret "Hit Man" Hart, who calls Razor Ramon out for attacking his brother "The Rocket" Owen Hart and getting his attention. He says that their match for the WWF Championship has now gotten real personal as a result, and he promises that the Hart family will get its revenge. The following Superstars are announced for the Royal Rumble match: "Macho Man" Randy Savage, The Undertaker, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Irwin R. Schyster, Mr. Perfect, Bob Backlund, The Berzerker, Yokozuna, Tatanka, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The King" Jerrly Lawler, Earthquake, Carlos Colono, Crush, Papa Shango, and "The Model" Rick Martel. DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster are looking forward to the Royal Rumble match, which has 28 tax cheats (excluding the two of them), and a shot at the WWF Champion. Should they both be the final two, the better man will win, but the money and the WWF Championship will all go to them. Flair says that he won it all last year and won the vacant WWF Championship in an hour and ten minutes, and this year, he'll be coming for everyone again. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), soon to be facing The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake Beverly) at Royal Rumble, say that the pleasure will be all theirs, as they will not take them lightly and they will be the only ones celebrating when the match is over.

Crush beats Dave Sigfrids with the Cranium Crusher. During the match, the clown comes back and squirts water at people in the aisle. We also see pre-recorded comments from Crush, who wishes everyone a happy new year as he says the Royal Rumble match is his chance to prove he wants to be on top in the World Wrestling Federation. After the match, Crush meets the clown, who shoots a yo-yo into his face only to be grabbed by the arm by Crush as he hits some kids with it. Crush almost breaks his arm, but gives the clown a stern warning.

Sean Mooney re-advertises the January 11th and January 18th shows for Monday Night Raw in the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), The Undertaker and Yokozuna are advertised for the shows. He then advertises the show for the Meadowlands Arena next Saturday afternoon on January 9th, where Mr. Perfect takes on Razor Ramon. Razor Ramon says the eyes and ears of the wrestling world are focused on Mr. Perfect making his return, and tells Mr. Perfect he thrives on the spotlight. Mr. Perfect will have to prove to him that he is indeed perfect. Also, Shawn Michaels defends the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Marty Jannetty. We hear from Jannetty, who says it is a great opportunity for him because he gets a shot at Shawn, which he has wanted for a long time. He says there is nothing anybody can do to stop him from taking Shawn's title as well as his career.

'Next week: Bam Bam Bigelow! The Undertaker! Kamala! The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner)!

Raymond Rougeau interviews Crush, who says he knows a few things about clowns, and that his grandfather was a clown who was fun to be around and loved to make people laugh. He says that the clown seen in recent week only wants to hurt people, and that when he started messing with the kids, he crossed a line. He hopes that the clown takes his advice.
