Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 30, 2014

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon start off the show. After celebrating Seth Rollins' victory, they introduce John Cena, the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, who shows up. Stephanie announces that John Cena will be on the front cover of WWE 2K15. Cena isn't impressed, and is instead very suspicious of Triple H and Stephanie's behavior, as he knows they're being too nice and that, according to Cena, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins "are in their back pocket." It soon becomes apparent that they have a problem with him, and Triple H forces Cena to defend his newly-earned championship in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Kane. Cena also will be facing Randy Orton and Kane tonight, with Roman Reigns as his tag team partner. As Cena leaves, Triple H reminds him that "there's always a Plan B." Seth Rollins shows up and stands next to John Cena with the Money In The Bank briefcase before heading to the ring and celebrating his win with Triple H and Stephanie before his match.

Seth Rollins beats Rob Van Dam. After the match, Renee Young interviews Rollins, who then proceeds to belittle the WWE Universe before Dean Ambrose appears on the TitanTron. He tells Rollins it's not over between them, and tells him he's going to keep him from cashing in the Money In The Briefcase against all odds.

As Rusev and Lana continue to trash talk the USA, they ask who is next to take on Rusev. That would be Jack Swagger, who arrives along with Zeb Colter. The latter voices his displeasure of their voicing their opinion of America, and says that a Real American can stop Rusev's reign of terror. Lana holds Rusev back as the WWE Universe cheers for Swagger, and as Lana and Rusev quietly leave, Rusev goes after Swagger only to quickly fall victim to a hip toss. Rusev has to be held back by Lana once again, and he is forced to retreat.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Sheamus.

Tom Phillips interviews Nikki Bella. Stephanie McMahon shows up and puts Nikki in a handicap match against The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi).

A limo arrives carrying a successful cross-brand WWE superstar and former WWE champion...but who is it?

Bo Dallas shows up and asks the WWE Universe to join him in sixty seconds of silence for Bad News Barrett and Daniel Bryan. As for last night, he says he was the bigger man when it came to trying to inspire Daniel Bryan.

The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) easily beat Nikki Bella in a handicap match, but Cameron gets mad at Naomi for tagging herself and getting the pin. Cameron then walks out on Naomi.

Bad News Barrett has suffered a shoulder injury on the SmackDown before Money In The Bank. Sadly, there is no timetable as to when he will be able to return. As a result, Bad News Barrett is hereby stripped of the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The new IC champ will be decided in a battle royal for the vacant title at Battleground. Paul Heyman shows up and praises this news, and promises that Cesaro will pick up the pieces and take the title at the battle royal.

Kofi Kingston beats Cesaro on the WWE App. After the match, Cesaro attacks Kofi, and even tosses him to the back of the front row in an impressive showing of strength before officials have to break it up.

Santino Marella talks to his Cobra, disappointed that nobody came to his party...not even Emma! But Adam Rose comes to the rescue with the Exotic Express in what is a blatant advertisement for Twisted Ice Tea. (Yes. Adam Rose sells an adult beverage on a PG show. What.)

Vince McMahon shows up...or so we think. It's Damien Sandow dressed like Vince. After a decent Vince McMahon impression as "Vincent Kennedy McMahondow," he says he's entering the Intercontinental Championship battle royal at Battleground. Stephanie McMahon appears on the TitanTron and is incensed he would impersonate her dad, and puts him in a match against another entrant in the battle royal: The Great Khali, who fells "McMahondow" in one swift chop. The Great Khali beats Damien Sandow.

We finally find out who the returning former WWE champ and cross-platform success of a Superstar is...The Miz. He says he was tempted to stay in Hollywood and shoot more films, but he came back for the fans as they don't appreciate him like Hollywood does. As he continues talking, another superstar of the former WWE champ and cross-media platform success story varieties shows up...Chris Jericho. Miz runs his mouth only to eat a Codebreaker. When Jericho speaks, however, he is surrounded by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan), who instantly overpower him.

Dolph Ziggler takes on Cesaro tomorrow night on Main Event on the WWE Network.

During Fandango vs. Dolph Ziggler, Summer Rae shows up and kisses Ziggler. Ziggler kisses her back. Fandango is distracted and distraught by this, and this allows Ziggler to hit the Zig Zag. Dolph Ziggler beats Fandango.

Goldust and Stardust beat Rybaxel (Curtis Axel and Ryback).

Paige shows up. She says she's here to stay...until the former WWE Divas Champion, AJ Lee, makes her return! AJ tells Paige that she's right, and that she's proved her and everyone wrong. She also has a change of heart, saying that Paige slapped her back into reality after months of being really cocky, and thanks her. Paige thinks she's pulling the same trick she did to win the Divas title, and says she doesn't want to put her title on the line. AJ asks the WWE Universe if they want a championship rematch right now, and the Universe heartily agrees. Paige agrees to a title defense.

AJ Lee beats Paige to win the WWE Divas Championship!

Sheamus is throwing up a 4th of July Challenge for the WWE United States Championship on SmackDown this Friday!

Triple H guests on commentary for the next match.

Kane and Randy Orton vs John Cena and Roman Reigns with Reigns tossing Orton into the back and Kane using the steel steps as a weapon. Kane hits Cena with a Tombstone Piledriver. As trainers check on Cena, Seth Rollins tries to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase, but doesn't get the chance to follow through as Dean Ambrose rushes in and goes after Rollins, chasing him out of the arena. Kane grabs a steel chair and is about to hit Cena with it when Roman Reigns returns and Spears Kane. Roman Reigns and Triple H stare each other down, and Triple H slinks away.

Money In The Bank 2014 - The Results

Byron Saxton interviews Roman Reigns. He plans to show the world that this big dog runs the yard.

Michael Cole interviews Daniel Bryan in his first appearance since his neck surgery. He has no idea when he's going to come back, as there may be another surgery due to the fact that strength hasn't returned to his arm. As much as he'd rather be in action, he plans to come back better than ever and become WWE World Heavyweight Champion once again when he does. He considers John Cena, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns to be the biggest threats to the title. He also reveals that he didn't find out he was stripped of the title until it was announced on television. Suddenly, Bo Dallas shows up and tells Daniel Bryan to "Bolieve." Daniel Bryan responds by calling Dallas a "Bo-ner" and telling him to "Bo-leave."

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan).

Dean Ambrose tells Seth Rollins he made a mistake telling Triple H to put him in the match...because he's planning to grab the briefcase and bash Rollins' face in!

Paige retains the WWE Divas Championship against Naomi.

Adam Rose beats Damien Sandow (who is dressed as Paul Revere).

Seth Rollins beats Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Dean Ambrose, Rob Van Dam and Dolph Ziggler to win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, thanks to Kane, who choke slams and Tombstones Ambrose (who is taken back to the back mid-match by doctors due to a re-injured shoulder before returning minutes later) before holding the ladder for Rollins.

Byron Saxton interviews Randy Orton. Seth Rollins may have needed help earlier...but he does not.

Goldust and Stardust beat Rybaxel (Curtis Axel and Ryback). Curtis Axel attacks Stardust after the match, but Goldust and Stardust put him away.

Byron Saxton interviews Fandango. Layla shows up, as does Summer Rae.

Rusev beats Big E with the Accolade in a brutal match.

As Nikki Bella talks to Brie, Stephanie McMahon shows up and wants Brie Bella out. After the footage of Stephanie receiving a mud bath at the hands of Vickie Guerrero is played one more time, Brie is escorted out by security as per Stephanie, and Stephanie tells Nikki that Brie should stay gone.

Layla beats Summer Rae in a match with Fandango as special guest referee.

Despite Kane being in cahoots with Randy Orton just like he was with Seth Rollins in the Contract Ladder Match, John Cena beats Sheamus, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Kane, Alberto Del Rio and Bray Wyatt in a Money In The Bank Championship Ladder Match to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Layin 'da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for June 27, 2014

Triple H, Randy Orton and Seth are here. Triple H says right now is "The Authority Era" as he and Stephanie McMahon are making history all the time, especially with both Money In The Bank Ladder Matches. Triple H then puts his money on Orton and Rollins to win their respective ladder matches. Rollins says he has a Plan B in case Orton doesn't get the job done, which causes an argument between Orton and Rollins. Triple H tells them to either survive without The Authority (Triple H, Stephanie) or thrive within it as The Authority is the only constant. Triple H then makes Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett, which happens next.

Dean Ambrose beats Bad News Barrett. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter show up, and Swagger attacks Barrett before Ambrose beats up Swagger. This continues until Ambrose is blindsided by Seth Rollins, who then curb stomps him.

Naomi guests on commentary for the next match.

Paige beats Cameron. As Naomi locks eyes with Paige after the match, Cameron pushes Paige into Naomi, then Naomi into Paige, causing tension between the Divas champ and the #1 contender.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) want the gold and plan to take it this Sunday.

Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt ends with Luke Harper breaking Sheamus' Cloverleaf attempt on Bray. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), who showed up during the commercial break, help Sheamus stand tall in the subsequent six-man brawl with The Wyatt Family (Wyatt, Harper, Erick Rowan).

Byron Saxton interviews Goldust. Stardust shows up, and he and Goldust accept Rybaxel's (Ryback and Curtis Axel) challenge from Main Event.

Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio beat Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam by reversing a Five Star Frog Splash into a Cross Arm Breaker.

Renee Young interviews The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). They promise to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships this Sunday.

Rusev beats Sin Cara with the Accolade. Big E shows up and stands up to Rusev. As Rusev and Lana supposedly flee, Rusev tries to ambush Big E but fails.

Two new matches for Money In The Bank: Rusev takes on Big E, while Layla takes on Summer Rae in a match with Fandango as special guest referee.

Kane vs. Roman Reigns ends with Randy Orton attacking Reigns. Kane attacks Reigns with a ladder, then readies it for a climb to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belts overhead. Orton ascends up the ladder, and Kane holds it for him. Orton grabs the belt, and it appears Kane is in cahoots with Randy Orton. Kane gets ready to do a choke slam when Roman gets up, but Randy Orton wants the final blow and tries to do his trademark punt to take Roman out of action. This proves to be a big mistake, as Roman hits Randy Orton and Kane with a Spear to end the show.

WWE Money In The Bank 2014 - My predictions

Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Cesaro vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns vs. John Cena vs. Kane

in a Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Since Daniel Bryan's recovery from neck surgery is taking longer than previously thought, he is stripped of the WWE World title by The Authority. Now, seven Superstars will beat each other down...and only one can climb the ladder and take the titles. Who will it be?

My prediction: Have the feeling Cena will win this one.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c) vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

You'd think this would have happened at Payback, wouldn't you? Well, sadly, it didn't, but WWE makes up for it by making it official for Money In The Bank. The Usos have come a bit of a long way since this time last year, but can they keep the tag team titles they've fought so hard to obtain against The Wyatt Family?

My prediction: The Wyatt Family will take the titles.

Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose

in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship contract

This match was announced on Main Event two weeks before Money In The Bank, along with Seth Rollins' participation. The rest of the combatants were announced by Triple H on the last Raw before MITB, with the exception of Dean Ambrose, who was added by Triple H at the behest of Seth Rollins, who wants him nipped in the bud as part of his plan to win the contract for the WWE World title. But will this plan blow up in Seth's face?

My prediction: Expecting Seth Rollins to win this one.

Paige (c) vs. Naomi

for the WWE Divas Championship

After Naomi beat Paige on Main Event two weeks before Money In The Bank, it was announced on the final Raw before MITB that Naomi had a shot at the Divas title. But Paige has made it known that if she wants the title, she'll have to put up a valiant effort to get it!

My prediction: Paige will probably retain. Cameron is likely to be a factor in that.

Big E vs. Rusev

Big E is the first to stand up to Rusev and Lana's anti-Americanism...but can he take the heat as well as he dishes it out?

My prediction: Rusev wins...but it'll take a little longer than usual here.

Layla vs. Summer Rae

with Fandango as Special Guest Referee

Well, we knew this was gonna happen, didn't we?

My prediction: Hopefully Summer Rae will win this one.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 12, 2014

Eric Young shows up and calls out MVP, who shows up with Kenny King and Bobby Lashley. Eric Young wants a fair fight from MVP, but MVP wants to make excuses. He throws EY a bone: if he can beat two people in his team tonight, then he can pick the stipulation for their match on Sunday. Bobby Lashley will be his first opponent.

Bobby Lashley beats Eric Young, who puts his back out during the match. Samoa Joe stops Lashley from further attacking EY.

Eric Young is in pain, and Samoa Joe has a bigger bone to pick with MVP.

Magnus and Bram show up. Now that Magnus has his edge back, he's unstoppable. Willow shows up and says "bring it on," as does Magnus. Willow considers himself a figment of Jeff Hardy's imagination, and calls himself "we." Magnus says he's bringing back-up in the form of Bram this Sunday, with Bram saying Willow is only one person...but Willow drops a bombshell. He's bringing out backup...and that backup is The Monster, Abyss! Abyss and Willow come out strong in the resulting brawl.

Ethan Carter III is coming to the ring...

Knux beats Robbie E, then sends him running for the hills with a bunch of balloons strapped to him.

As Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III chat in the ring, they reveal that they've brought someone back...and that someone is Brooke Tessmacher! Brooke is back!

Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud show up, and brings out Brooke to bring out "the truth about Bully Ray." After a few questions, Spud hits the spotlight and goes nuts, implying that Bully Ray is the father of Brooke's baby. (What?) Brooke has had enough of this, but EC3 and Spud confront her. They're about to "teach her a lesson" when Bully Ray shows up and runs them out of the ring. Bully Ray, unaware that Brooke would be here, makes up with Brooke, then tells EC3 that he and Dixie are going through tables. EC3 says that if Dixie goes through a table, it'll be over his dead body. This gives Bully the idea to make their match on Sunday a Texas Death Match. Ethan accepts the challenge.

Eric Young beats Kenny King, getting the first of two wins he needs for tonight.

Madison Rayne is more concerned with becoming #1 contender to the Knockouts title.

The Beautiful People (Angelina Sky and Velvet Sky) guest on commentary in the middle of the next match.

Gail Kim beats Brittany and Madison Rayne to become #1 contender to the TNA Knockouts Championship.

MVP talks to Brian Hebner outside of the arena...

After sitting in a steel chair and talking down to Eric Young, MVP takes the chair and smashes it into his back. Eric Young beats MVP by disqualification, and MVP tells Eric Young he will never beat him Sunday, regardless of the stipulation. As MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley walk away, EY grabs the microphone and makes the stipulation: at Sunday, EY and MVP go at it for the TNA World title in a steel cage match!

My predictions for TNA Slammiversary XII

Eric Young (c) vs. TBA vs. TBA
for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage Match

Well, it was bound to happen. MVP turns on both Eric Young and the people in order to get more power for himself. Now the title on the line, and Eric Young will be facing his biggest challenge yet. Just before Slammiversary, Eric Young was able to make the stipulation for the match...and he's made it a steel cage match? Will MVP's power trip come to an end?

Well, apparently not, because after the last episode of Impact Wrestling before Slammiversary was aired, it became known that MVP's knee injury - which he suffered at a house show in England on May 30th - would keep him from being in the main event. The match will go on as planned, but it will now be a three-way dance where Eric Young takes on the winners of both the Austin Aries vs. Kenny King match and the Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley match.

My prediction: Eric Young will probably retain.

Bully Ray vs. Ethan Carter III
in a Texas Death Match

Bully Ray plans on taking it all the way to Dixie Carter in his journey for revenge against her...and Ethan Carter III just might be a nagging flab in Bully's quest to put Dixie and her cronies through tables!

My prediction: Bully Ray will probably win this one.

Marshall and Ross Von Erich vs. TBA

Marshall and Ross Von Erich, the newest generation of the Von Erich wrestling family, are headed to TNA!

My prediction: The Von Erichs will win.

Willow vs. Magnus

After weeks of fighting between these two men, it all comes to a head at Slammiversary XII! Can Magnus truly get his competitive edge back?

My prediction: Expecting Magnus to win this one somehow.

Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley

Thanks to an equal playing between MVP and his goons and those who are against him, it was only a matter of time before the other two guys take on the goons. Joe's taking on Lashley, so we get two big men in this match.

My prediction: Lashley will win, most likely through interference.

Austin Aries vs. Kenny King

Since Joe is taking on Lashley, Austin Aries is taking on Kenny King. If only the X Division title was on the line...

My prediction: Kenny King will win, most likely through interference.

Sanada (c) vs. Manik vs. Tigre Uno vs. Crazzy Steve vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards
in a Ladder Match for the TNA X Division Championship

Not to be outdone by you-know-who, TNA also does a ladder match for a title, this time for the X Division championship. One thing is for sure: this one's gonna get extreme.

My prediction: Sanada will probably retain.

Angelina Love (c) vs. Gail Kim
for the TNA Knockouts Championship

After winning a three-way dance to determine the #1 contender for the Knockouts Title, Gail Kim just might be the first real test to Angelina Love's record-breaking sixth title reign!

My prediction: Gail Kim will take the title.
