In memory of George "The Animal" Steele, Chavo Guerrero Sr., Ivan Koloff and Nicole Bass.

"Broken" Matt Hardy asks George Washington the Giraffe for advice. At the Hardy Compound, Matt tells Brother Hardy that he is teleporting to an unknown place and that he may lose his abilities, and with permission, houses his abilities inside Brother Nero. Brother Nero has a premonition that Matt is going to Egypt. Matt then teleports away with the assistance of Vanguard-1.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett invites us to the marriage of Braxton Sutter and Laurel Van Ness.

Cody and Brandi Rhodes show up to start the show. Cody says that Lashley is in the back, but he is really here for Brandi. He mentions Brandi being called "Mini-Moose" and asks Moose to come to the ring so he can thank him. Moose shows up. Cody tells Moose that he is one of them, and Moose tells him and Brandi that if they need anything, they've got his number and his back. Cody thinks Brandi is cheating on him at first, but realizes that it's for business, then asks if they're sleeping together. Moose and Brandi can't believe, and Moose says he did what he did last week as a friend. Cody says that Moose is not a friend, but a "perfidious slut." Brandi asks if this is a joke, then Cody says he's just joking before kicking Moose in the groin, stomping him a few times and hitting him with Cross Rhodes.

Backstage, Cody Rhodes keeps the cameraman away from his wife Brandi.

We hear from Eli Drake and Tyrus concerning recent events between them.

Before the next match, Eli Drake confronts Tyrus for the events of last week. He then tries to get Tyrus to lay down for him so everything can be fine, but Tyrus does not lay down for anybody. Eli Drake then punches out senior referee Earl Hebner, and When Eli Drake gives him a raise, it's enough to win Tyrus back over.

Maria-Kanellis Bennett, Sienna and Laurel Van Ness get ready for the wedding. Allie is nowhere to be found...

"Broken" Matt Hardy comes back with a golden Skaarsgard and clad in gold, saying that he now bears characteristics of his first-ever vessel. He says that Skaarsgard has been transformed from a dilapidated boat to a golden ark that will house every tag title they possess until they become the greatest tag team in all of space and time. They then teleport to their next destination with help from Vanguard-1.

Jade says the feud between her and Rosemary is far from over, and it's now about taking back the Knockouts Division. She calls out Rosemary, and Rosemary shows up. Rosemary tells Jade she should be saving herself, and asks Decay to help do it for her. She says she is done with Jade, but Jade says she is not done with her. She knows they both share scars from the Monster's Ball match, and challenges her for the title one more time in a Last Knockouts Standing match. Rosemary accepts the challenge, and Jade tells Rosemary to bring her best, as the title is coming back to her.

Braxton Sutter is met by "The Miracle" Mike Bennett backstage. Bennett gives Sutter advice on being married.

Jessie Godderz beats Bram after sending him into Eddie Kingston, then manages to outsmart Bram and Kingston again.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) teleport to their next location, which happens to be a locker room. They call out the tag team champions, but instead get the #1 contenders, the Mid-Atlantic Outlaws. Matt Hardy demands a #1 contender's match, and after someone in the locker room gets behind The Hardy's attempt to procure gold, the #1 contender's match is on!

Allie finally shows up. Maria Kanellis-Bennett obviously doesn't care how Allie feels about the wedding, and bosses her around again.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) meet the Mid-Atlantic tag team champions...and the tag team title match is on. After a grueling battle, The Broken Hardys are Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions. They then teleport back to Cameron, North Carolina, and the Mid-Atlantic tag titles are placed in Skaarsgard. Sparks fly out of Skaarsgard afterwards.

We hear from Josh Barnett, who wants to bring the best out of Lashley.

Bobby Lashley guests on commentary for the next match.

Josh Barnett beats Bad Bones by submission.

Trevor Lee grabs the tights to retain the TNA X Division Championship against DJ Z after DJ Z avoids having his ankle grabbed by Gregory Shane Helms. After the match, Andrew Everett shows up and attacks Helms before spiking Trevor Lee into the mat.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett makes it clear to Braxton Sutter that he will marry Laurel Van Ness...or else he knows what will happen.

The marriage of Braxton Sutter and Laurel Van Ness. Rockstar Spud is the flower guy, and Aron Rex also shows up. Maria Kanellis-Bennett and Sienna are the bridesmaids. When Allie shows up as the ringbearer, Maria verbally craps on her for her dress, even though Allie's dress is the same as hers and Sienna's. Maria makes it clear she dos not anyone to object to the wedding, and blames the question being asked on Allie, who drops the ring. At the "I do's," Sutter says "I don't," and says he's never wanted to be Laurel's anything. He then admits that he has been in love with Allie, and reveals that if he didn't marry Laurel Van Ness, Allie would be fired. Not surprisingly, Maria fires Allie, but Allie tells Maria that she can't fire here because she quits. Sutter fights "The Miracle" Mike Bennett, while Allie finally beats the crap out of Maria. Brooke shows up and goes after Sienna as she tries to pull Allie off Maria, and Rockstar Spud - who is looking for Spud and Aron Rex - beats up Bennett before Sutter and Allie have their Hollywood ending and kiss to end the show.

Here's tonight's show in 60 seconds!

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for November 24, 2016

Jeff Hardy shows up to start tonight's show. While he is thankful for his family, he is not exactly here alone as his fans are here, and he is thankful for them as well. He is not thankful for the DCC ("The Cowboy" James Storm, Eddie Kingston, Bram) for wrecking his brother Matt Hardy's memory. The DCC appear on the TitanTron and tell Jeff that nobody can help him, then accept his challenge and make it a no-disqualification match, which Jeff accepts. The DCC then show up and fight him, but Jeff overpowers them long enough to escape and start an "Obsolete!" chant.

Back in Cameron, North Carolina at the Hardy estate, Senor Benjamin reads a Playboy, Vanguard-1 drinks a lemonade and Matt picks tangerines.

Team Go For Broke (DJ Z, Mandrews, Braxton Sutter) beat The Helms Dynasty (Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett, Marshe Rockett) and the team of Crazzy Steve, Abyss and Decay in a Team X Gold match.

Maria and Laurel Van Ness leave Allie - who is playing with Thanksgiving paper dolls - out of the Thanksgiving fun by making her the server for their double date, and Laurel Van Ness says that Braxton Sutter wants women like her and not "little girls" when one of the pilgrims is noticed to look somewhat like Braxton.

Senor Benjamin helps Matt Hardy with the tangerine sorbet when a car pulls up, containing Kevin Keenan, the referee from The Final Deletion. He says Reby Sky sent him to jog his memory.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Laurel Van Ness have their Thanksgiving dinner, with Allie as a server and dressed as a Pilgrim. Laurel and Maria mock Allie, and Laurel Van Ness says that she has invited Braxton Sutter to dinner. Everyone talks about what they're thankful for, but when Allie says what she's thankful for, Maria shuts her down. Also, Laurel Van Ness tries to hit on Braxton Sutter. Allie finally snaps and calls Laurel Van Nes a big meanie and says there's nothing vegan she can eat at the table, and almost pies her before Laurel ducks and the pie hits Maria instead. Mike Bennett doesn't make it much better when he takes his finger and licks the pie that was on Maria's face.

We hear from Ethan Carter III and Eli Drake before their match.

Ethan Carter III beats Eli Drake. As per match stipulations, Eli Drake cannot speak for the rest of the year.

Reby Sky enlists the help of Dr. Maximillian to hypnotize Matt Hardy...and it works. Matt Hardy is "Broken" again...but when he snaps his fingers again, it doesn't.

Al Snow and Mahabali Shera beat The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Judge Baron Dax) by disqualification after The Tribunal use their belts as weapons, which they continue to do after the match.

Robbie E and Grado find out from Aiden O'Shea they have a Turkey Suit Challenge match, with the loser wearing the turkey suit.

Robbie E beats Grado in the Turkey Suit Challenge, which means that Grado has to wear the turkey suit. Grado and Robbie E both dance in the ring.

Rosemary tells Gail Kim that she, Crazzy Steve and Abyss make history when they make some decay, and that she will do the same to her in a steel cage.

Bram beats Jeff Hardy in a no-disqualification match with the help of Eddie Kingston and "The Cowboy" James Storm.

Matt Hardy finally regains his memory after being struck by lightning by the seven deities.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 21, 2016

Matt Hardy mocks Jeff Hardy, manifesting himself in everything Jeff is trying to do. He dares Jeff to hit a ramp on his dirt bike, and the scene cuts to black before it finishes.

Lashley shows up to start tonight's show. He doesn't care how far he has to go to do it, but he beats people up on a regular basis and that is why he is TNA World Heavyweight Championship. However, he doesn't like it when somebody gets into his business, and says he should be X Division Champion. Nevertheless, he will beat Eddie Edwards up and take his title. Right now, though, he wants to deal with Moose. He says that doesn't have to put on a football uniform to call himself a man; instead, he just gets in a wrestling ring and destroys people. He calls out Moose, but "The Miracle" Mike Bennett shows up. He says that Moose is the man he sent to TNA to beat Lashley's ass, and that he will win the Bound For Glory playoffs and win the World title with Moose's help. He brings out Moose, and Lashley tells Moose that he's ready for him, and says all Moose has to do is get in the ring and they can go. Moose takes his shirt off and slowly heads towards the ring, but he is attacked from behind by Eddie Edwards. Edwards and Lashley brawl with Bennett and Moose until referees and officials break it up. Dixie Carter shows up on the TitanTron, and tells Lashley and Eddie to focus on their match. She also tells Bennett and Moose that if they interfere in that match, Bennett will be fired on the spot. Also, Bennett's Bound For Glory match is up next, and his opponent is Jeff Hardy. However, Matt Hardy appears, wanting to make sure Jeff is "deleted," then shows footage of Jeff Hardy doing the jump off the ramp on his dirt bike...and falling off his bike. Matt then tells Jeff to do his bidding. Matt says that Jeff will be here tonight, and Jeff shows up to very humiliating "music" as Reby Sky keeps uttering the word "obsolete" towards him.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett quickly beats Jeff Hardy to continue to the semi-finals of the Bound For Glory Playoffs. After the match, Matt Hardy insults Jeff and tells him to get out of his ring as he is beneath him. Matt then says he plans to show who the true face of Hardy is when he wins the World title, then calls out his Bound For Glory Playoffs opponent, "The Cowboy" James Storm.

"Broken" Matt Hardy beats "The Cowboy" James Storm to continue to the semi-finals of the Bound For Glory Playoffs after Reby Sky hits Storm in the ankle with a metal hammer.

Eddie Edwards says that "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Moose tried to crush his title dreams, but it's not happening this time thanks to Dixie Carter. He promises there will be a winner, and promises to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

We hear from Ethan Carter III before the Bound For Glory Playoffs.

"The Miracle' Mike Bennett and Moose are backstage. Bennett says Dixie Carter has no idea who he is...and Moose says that if Lashley wants a fight, he's going to give him one.

Ethan Carter III is in the ring. He says he's in TNA for the same reason as everyone else: the drive, passion and desire to be the best. He wants the TNA World Heavyweight Championship again, and he plans to win it through the Bound For Glory Playoffs, and he plans nothing less than to go all the way. Drew Galloway shows up and tells EC3 he's a passionate man, but says that he came to TNA and not the other way around. Drew says that the only time they will be able to face each other in the Bound For Glory Playoffs is in the finals, but they decide to fight right now...until Eli Drake shows up. Eli Drake tells Drew and EC3 they're a bunch of dummies, and tells EC3 his time is coming, ust not now. He tells Drew to leave the ring so he can face EC3.

Ethan Carter III beats Eli Drake to continue to the semi-finals of the Bound For Glory Playoffs.

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy meet with Vanguard-1, and Matt learns he will face Ethan Carter III next week. Also, the "keys to victory" are nearly exposed...

Allie and Maria Kanellis-Bennett are getting ready for the State of the Knockouts Address. Maria feels she shouldn't have to answer questions, or answer to Dixie Carter.

Tyrus is..."The Fixer."

Lashley tells Dixie Carter all he needs is a ring and a ref, and tells Eddie Edwards if wants some, come get some. He extends that message to everyone on the roster.

It's time for the State of the Knockouts Address. Allie, Sienna, Jade, Marti Bell, Madison Rayne and Gail Kim are in the ring, and Allie brings out Maria Kanellis-Bennett. Maria hears that she's been going too far as leader of the Knockouts. She allows them to air their grievances, and Allie takes the time to kiss Maria's ass. Jade wants a rematch for the TNA Knockouts Championship after Marti Bell screwed her out of it, but Gail Kim tells her she won't get it like she won't get her rematch thanks to Maria's excuses of a broken hand. Sienna tells Gail to back down, and Maria tells Gail Kim to stop being selfish simply because she's TNA Hall of Fame bound. Gail says if she can't get her rematch, she wants her title shot, and if she has to face the rest of the Knockouts, so be it. Maria makes it so, and if Gail loses even once, she'll never get a shot again, and whoever beats her will be rewarded handsomely by Maria. Jade responds by walking out of the Knockouts Division, but when Marti Bell gets in her way, they immediately come to blows. Gail Kim says this is what happens when Maria is in charge, and Maria responds by saying that if Gail Kim is willing to do what it takes, so will see. Madison Rayne then attacks Gail from behind, saying it's nothing personal and that it's time everybody in the division looked out for themselves.

Rosemary meets with Bram backstage. Rosemary says that she is changing, and wants Bram to feel that change with her, and asks him to win tonight for himself. Rosemary asks Bram if he wants her help tonight. The two kiss.

The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Judge Baron Dax) attack Mahabali Shera backstage.

Drew Galloway beats Bram with a Future Shock DDT from the top rope to continue to the second round of the Bound For Glory Playoffs.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett confronts Drew Galloway backstage, saying he's the one to win since he has Moose on his side. Drew Galloway tells him not to be so cocky, saying there's still the possibility Moose could cost him his job tonight.

Lashley beats Eddie Edwards in Six Sides of Steel to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and win the TNA X Division Championship. After the match, Lashley pushes into the corner for another Spear, but he id stopped by Ethan Carter III. Matt Hardy, Drew Galloway, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Moose also all show up and end the show with a big brawl.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 31, 2016

Dixie Carter is seen talking to someone at the beginning of the show...and Dixie is giving that person the show for tonight!

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis show up. He knows that Dixie has put someone in charge, and that he knows it's not the either of them. Maria says that if anyone should be in charge, it should be her. Bennett then calls out whoever is in charge...and it's Ethan Carter III. EC3 tells Bennett that the rematch between them is on for Slammiversary, and gives him the night off so he can have him at 100%...but he's not off the hook yet. EC3 makes Bennett the janitor for tonight as the head of the custodial department pushes a mop bucket to the top of the entrance ramp, and when Maria complains, EC3 announces that she's getting a job evaluation, and if she doesn't pass, she's fired. When EC3 tells them to get out of the ring, Bennett refuses. EC3 threatens to kick Bennett's ass, and Bennett says he's only leaving because he wants to leave. He kicks the mop bucket as he and Maria leave. Lashley then shows up, and wants to fight EC3. But EC3 reminds Lashley that Drew Galloway will be picking his opponent for him. Drew Galloway then makes an appearance.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett finds out from Ethan Carter III that he has his work cleaning toilets tonight cut out for him.

Drew Galloway tells Lashley that his opponent for tonight is Bram.

Bram beats Lashley by disqualification after Lashley hits him in the gut with a steel chair. Lashley then hits Bram with two Spears after the match before Drew Galloway rushes into the ring with a steel chair and forces Lashley to retreat. Eli Drake then rushes in and cashes in his King of the Mountain title shot. After a brief match, Eli Drake beats Bram to become the new TNA King of The Mountain Champion.

Raquel tests the focusing ability of The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) by walking around the pool in a gold swimsuit.

After cleaning the bathroom, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett finds out his next task is learning how to referee, courtesy of Earl Hebner!

Eli Drake celebrates his new title win with some wine...that nobody else gets to drink.

Matt Hardy has invited us - and "Brother Nero" Jeff Hardy - to his home in North Carolina for the contract signing for the match between him and Jeff Hardy at Slammiversary.

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) beats Rockstar Spud and Tyrus with the Adonis Crab in a match with "The Miracle" Mike Bennett as the (reluctant) special guest referee to become the #1 contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Jeff Hardy heads to Matt Hardy's home...

Maria finds out from Ethan Carter III that she will be in the ring next for her job evaluation.

Ethan Carter III and Maria are in the ring, and Allie and Sienna are told to leave the ring for the job evaluation. EC3 brings out Gail Kim for the evaluation, and Gail Kim makes it clear that she wants a match with Maria at Slammiversary. Maria refuses, saying she is the leader of the Knockouts division, and EC3 tells Maria she is only a leader in theory and makes the match official. Maria then has no choice but to tell that at Slammiversary, she will kick Gail's ass. EC3 then puts Sienna and Allie in a tag team match right now against Gail Kim...and Jade.

Gail Kim and Jade beat Sienna and Allie.

Jeff Hardy runs into Reby Sky when he makes it to Matt Hardy's house, and she says she's not sticking around. Jeff goes into the house and finds Matt.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett enters the ring, saying he is sick and tired of refereeing and cleaning toilets and that he is a wrestler and that Maria is not. Ethan Carter III reneges on giving him the night off from wrestling, and puts him in a match against "The Cowboy" James Storm.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett beats "The Cowboy" James Storm after Maria distracts and slaps Storm. After the match, Ethan Carter III tells Bennett he will beat him at Slammiversary, then leaves Bennett with a Last Call superkcik to the face from Storm.

Al Snow is in the ring. He says he is making wrestling great again, and has some new recruits from London, who he introduces as "his tribunal." Basilie Baraka (formerly Sylvester LeFort) amd Judge Baron Dax (formerly Marcus Louis). They call themselves judge, jury and executioner and will take down anyone in their way, and that they now do it for Al Snow as The Tribunal. Snow says he needed only one wrestling move - the Snow Plow - to beat Grado last week. Grado shows up and says he's lying, saying he needed The Tribunal and weapons to beat him, but Al Snow says the video is doctored, and also makes "your mom" jokes towards him and Mahabali Shera. Shera and Grado brawl with The Tribunal, and Al Snow hits Grado in the back with a chair before doing the same to Shera, allowing The Tribunal to come out on top in this brawl.

We meet Braxton Sutter for the first time, and he tells us about himself. (Braxton Sutter has performed in TNA in the past under his indies name Pepper Parks.)

Matt Hardy has Jeff Hardy follow him outside to a shed and into a ring...

Drew Galloway beats Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) after Lashley inadvertently Spears Crazzy Steve instead of Galloway.

Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy finally sign their contract for their Slammiversary. As Jeff asks Matt if he really wants to end it where it all began, Reby Sky shows up and tosses Maxel to Jeff...only to reveal that it's a plastic doll and not her real child. Matt then hits Jeff from behind and puts him through a nearby table.

Tuesday, May 3, 2016

Lashley and Drew Galloway fight in the gym. Lashley throws Galloway into a UFC-style practice area and the brawl continues there until it is broken up.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis shows up. Bennett brags about beating Ethan Carter III, and when he addresses what the TNA fans have said about him he says that he doesn't have a God complex, he is God. He then declares he deserves to be world champ. Suddenly, Jeff Hardy shows up, and confronts Bennett over the fact that Bennett called himself God. Jeff tells Bennett that beating EC3 is a joke, and Bennett retorts by saying he's stolen his fans. Hardy then tells Bennett he'll have to beat him if he really wants to prove himself. Bennett, viewing this as a challenge, tells Jeff he will get with Dixie Carter to make the main event a match between the two of them, but Hardy says they can go right now...and they do. Jeff Hardy sends Mike Bennett out of the ring, and Bennett asks for a ref to make this match official right now. A referee shows up, and the match is on.

Jeff Hardy vs. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett ends when Lashley arrives and Spears Hardy after a Bennett reversal. Afterwards, Lashley hits Bennett with a spear, then says he is the baddest man in TNA and that he will stay in the ring until he gets his world title shot. Dixie Carter shows up and tells him he won't just have a title shot handed to him. He'll have to face Hardy and Bennett for it, and to make sure the match stays fair, Drew Galloway will be special guest referee.

Decay (Rosemary, Abyss and Crazzy Steve) celebrate being tag team champs, and says change is upon them and everyone else. Rosemary then starts the "transformation" of Crazzy Steve and Abyss by spitting her trademark mist into Crazzy Steve's mouth and Abyss' unmasked face.

Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) show up. Crazzy Steve and Abyss' faces are covered by black rags. As Rosemary brags about their win to Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode), the black rags come off. Steve's comes off first, and he speaks. He says Rosemary gave him a voice, and that the monster Abyss gave them purpose. Abyss is changed even more, for as the rag comes off, his mask is replaced with black paint similar to Crazzy Steve's. With his mask cast away, so is his pain. He feels beautiful, and finds beauty in decay. As Decay celebrate their new transformation, James Storm shows up. Abyss declares Beer Money dead. Storm says he's still standing, and takes on all of Decay at once...and wins. As Decay flees, Storm challenges Abyss to a fight.

Maria Kanellis says that Gail Kim paid the price for opposing her last week...and that this week, Jade will find out the hard way...

Jeff Hardy says he is focused for tonight's main event. As for his brother Matt Hardy, he says that Matt is a changed man...and not for the better.

Maria Kanellis is in the ring. She plans on making the Knockouts Division great again, then introduces Jade to the ring. Jade doesn't show up until her music hits twice. Maria asks Jade to stand behind her and admit her mistake for being viewed as a badass by laying down for her so that she can have the title, and asks for a referee. Jade tells her that's not happening, and Maria responds by telling Jade she'll have a fight instead of a match before sending out the newest signee to the Knockouts Divison: Sienna. Sienna absolutely lays waste to Jade.

Bram says he's not a follower anymore, and tonight, he puts the King of the Mountain title on the line in an open challenge.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett butts in on the impending interview between Jeremy Borash and Ethan Carter III, saying that he should be the one being interviewed, and that if he can beat EC3, he can beat anyone and become TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Bram retains the TNA King of the Mountain Championship against Eli Drake, Andrew Everett, Jessie Godders and Eddie Edwards in a King of the Mountain Match. Eli Drake almost cashes in his Feast or Fired briefcase.

Drew Galloway says he will not let the TNA World Championship slip away from him, regardless of who wins tonight.

A bitter Matt Hardy says that Jeff Hardy tried to end him, and that the doctors now say that he can't wrestle again.

As "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis enter the ring, Ethan Carter III suddenly appears. EC3 congratulates Bennett on doing the impossible and actually pinning him, and appreciates that Bennett is not all talk after saying he would pin him and did it. EC3 then says he accepts the loss like a man and that it changed him, and that the win defines Bennett. He wishes Bennett luck so he can see what being world champ is like, but reminds him he can take it from him and that they will fight again, and if Bennett wants to proclaim himself God, he'll be his devil.

In a match where Lashley inadvertently hits special guest referee Drew Gallow with a Spear and Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) interfere and attack Jeff Hardy, Lashley beats Jeff Hardy and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett in a three-way match to become #1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Galloway reluctantly counts the pin and raises Lashley's hand after the match, but Galloway sees the sneak attack from Lashley coming and the two of them brawl to end the show.

After Reby Sky puts Matt Hardy on a pedestal, Matt Hardy says he did not break one single rule in the Last Man Standing match when he beat EC3 for the World Heavyweight Championship, then says Dixie Carter hasn't spoken word one to him. He thanks the fans for their support during the last ten years he's been in TNA, and as he mentions his match for tonight, Maria Kanellis shows up and says his emotion is manufactured, and that TNA needs "The Miracle" Michael Bennett. Bennet shows up and enters the ring with Maria. Bennett admits Angle has had one hell of a career, and says he idolized and studied him as a kid, in the hopes of one day beating him when he grew up. Angle tells him to step back, and says that everything Angle has done is nearly untouchable, but says he is the miracle he can do it. Angle tells Maria she's beautiful, but she's going to need a miracle, then beats up Bennett. He says he doesn't wrestle people who don't have respect, and says his opponent tonight does. That opponent is Drew Galloway.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) show up. They tell The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) to come on in and cash in the tag team titles, but instead they get The Decay (Rosemary, Abyss, Crazzy Steve). Rosemary says the tag titles are pretty, but everything pretty eventually rots and dies in their world. Roode knows he and Storm aren't going to get everything they want right now, but since they have a ref, they might as well have a fight. Roode and Storm charge the ramp and fight Decay. This starts a match.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) vs. Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) ends when Abyss pulls the ref out of the ring after Beer Money hit the DWI on Crazzy Steve. Abyss then chokes the ref, and Beer Money take down The Decay. Rosemary, however, distracts Roode, allowing Crazzy Steve to hit a low blow on Roode and also hit Storm with one of the tag team titles. Abyss pulls out Janice from underneath the ring, and he and Abyss are about to finish them off when The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) rush in with steel chairs, forcing The Decay to back down and leave the ring. Richards then says that The Wolves want the tag team titles back, and offers them a shot at the tag team titles as part of their plan to do it. Abyss accepts on The Decay's behalf for next week...and it'll be a Monster's Ball match.

Reby Sky meets with Dixie Carter backstage, wanting to talk one-on-one. Reby admits that Matt Hardy is a proud man, and tells Dixie that she and Matt want what's best for their family.

The recently fired Grado shows up, jumping the barricade, entering the ring and getting on the mic, claiming that he was screwed out of his job in TNA and that he has proof. Eli Drake shows up with security guards. He sics them on Grado, and Grado gives chase. Eli Drake tries to get Grado from behind, but Grado gets away and makes a run for it backstage.

Drew Galloway says he plans to beat Kurt Angle where it all began for him in TNA...tonight..

Jade beats Madison Rayne thanks to a distraction by Rebel and Marti Bell. The Dollhouse (Jade, Rebel, Marti Bell) attack Madison Rayne after the match, but Gail Kim rushes in and fights them all off.

Billy Corgan is backstage when Grado shows up, telling him he's been screwed out of his job. Security gets Grado, then Eli Drake shows up, punches Grado in the face and tells security to get him out of here.

Drew Galloway beat Kurt Angle with the Crossface, after hitting him with three Claymores and making him bleed from his mouth.

Matt Hardy, Reby Sky and Tyrus are back in the ring. Matt Hardy demands Dixie Carter speak to him face-to-face. Dixie Carter shows up, and Matt Hardy blames Ethan Carter III for his own recent behavior, saying the injunction caused it all and that EC3 ruined business for TNA. He then demands Carter fire EC3 right now. When Matt Hardy goes into jerk mode, Rockstar Spud shows up, and while he agrees that Ethan Carter III did terrible things, he refuses to allow Hardy to treat Dixie Carter like dirt. Tyrus hits Spud with a cheap shot, then Matt Hardy goes back to being a jerk to Dixie, but EC3 shows up and takes down both Hardy's security and Tyrus before getting in the ring. Hardy retreats, then EC3 leaves.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 2, 2016

Earlier today, Ethan Carter III tells cameraman to meet him at an unspecified place at 4 PM for an interview.

Matt Hardy, Reby Sky and Tyrus appear to start the show. Matt says we won't get Jeff Hardy tonight, because Jeff made a big mistake last week. Reby says it didn't have to be this way, and believes that Jeff is just jealous that Matt won the World Heavyweight title. As Matt Hardy says that last week's actions were good for business for the Matt Hardy brand, Eric Young and Bram show up. EY takes pride in bringing immense pain to both Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy, and praises Matt as world champ, but says the title goes through him. Kurt Angle shows up and says he's talked to TNA official concerning his next farewell tour match...and it's him vs Matt for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. A livid Matt Hardy tells Kurt Angle he will end his career if he keeps this up, but Angle says he can whup everyone in the ring right now if he has to. Before The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) and The Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode and Austin Aries) face off in Match 4 of their Best of Five Series, The Wolves say that the tag team titles are what counts as they signify who is the best tag team in the world, and that they have proven that before with every tag team that's been thrown in their path. After they call The Wolves call The Dity Heels out, Bobby Roode shows up and says Austin Aries isn't medically cleared due to his match with Kurt Angle last week, and that he and Aries call the shots. The Wolves then challenge Roode to a singles match, and Roode almost doesn't want to do it until he comes up with a grand idea in order to see how badly The Wolves want him in the ring: whoever wins the match gets to pick the stipulation for the fourth match in their Best of Five Series. They like the idea, and Eddie Edwards challenges Roode to a match, right here, right now. Roode accepts the challenge.

Eddie Edwards beats Bobby Roode when Austin Aries suddenly shows up and tosses a steel chair to Roode only for Davey Richards to take it from him, leading to Edwards stacking Roode up off the distraction. Richards and Edwards immediately pick Full Metal Mayhem as the stipulation for Match 4 of their Best of Five Series.
