Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 28, 2016

"Broken" Matt Hardy shows up to start the show. He says he only has a handful of people that he cares about, but there was one that he used to care about until he betrayed him: Jeff Hardy. He calls Jeff Hardy out, and Jeff shows up. Matt says that he gets one step closer to the World title by beating EC3, and tells Jeff to ensure that he wins. Jeff tells Matt that he can do it on his own, but Matt doesn't care and says that he will win tonight. Ethan Carter III shows up, and when Matt tries to intimidate him, EC3 makes fun of him. He tells Matt that no matter what Matt has in store for him, he will win tonight and continue to the finals of the Bound For Glory Playoffs. He makes fun of Reby Sky's "obsolete" chants with a "relevant, Creatures" chant, then tells Jeff Hardy that while everything is good between them, he should not interfere in his match with Matt Hardy lest he have a war with him too. Ethan Carter III then asks for a ref so they can start their match.

Ethan Carter III beats "Broken" Matt Hardy to continue to the finals of the Bound For Glory playoffs after the referee takes the hammer that Reby Sky gave to Matt Hardy away and Ethan Carter III uses his boot - which was removed by Hardy in an attempt to bite his ankle - as a weapon before the One Percenter.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett thanks Madison Rayne for stepping up and attacking Gail Kim last week, but Madison Rayne tells Maria she's not the biggest fan of her, and that Gail Kim deserve to be in the TNA Hall of Fame. She wants to know what Maria will do for her if and when she beats Gail Kim, and Maria gives her a "I'll guess we'll find out, won't we?" sort of answer.

In the parking lot, Matt Hardy tells Jeff Hardy he ruined everything and that this will not go unpunished. He tells Jeff that everyone and everything he ever loved will one day die, and that it will be the time he learns to love something new.

Gail Kim beats Madison Rayne.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett tells us we're looking at a destructive force Moose and the savior of TNA in himself. He tells Lashley to keep the World Heavyweight title nice and warm for him, and that Moose is coming for him. Moose says he will squash anyone in his way and hit them with a Game Breaker.

Bram meets Rosemary in the woods. Turns out there is a farm nearby that Rosemary lived at, and we see what happened to Rosemary that made her who she was: she once found a cat and named it Fifi, then took care of it until she found Fifi's body in the trash one day. She climbed a tree, then loses it and accidentally falls out of the tree. When she comes to, she started hearing voices from the tree, who happens to be a brother she never knew he had named Montgomery. We then see the barn, and Rosemary is about to tell him what happened in there.

Moose beats David Starr. After the match, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett calls Moose the most destructive, most dominant and baddest man in wrestling. Lashley shows up and heads to the ring.

Moose and Lashley are staring each other down as soon as the show comes back from commercial break. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett asks the crowd if they want to see them fight, then says it will have to wait as Bennett himself has Lashley in a Bound For Glory Playoffs match. Lashley gets Moose's goat - and almost gets him in the ring - by saying that mommy will eventually let him out to play and that he doesn't want this. He then tells the crowd he wants to dominate TNA even further by taking every possible title. He dares anyone in the locker room to step up, and DJ Z shows up. He admits Lashley is dominant, but says Lashley is not an X Divison guy and says that Lashley can't do what he does. He then challenges Lashley as the #1 contender for the TNA X Division Championship for the X Division title right now. Lashley fires back by saying DJ Z can't do what he does, then accepts his challenge and lets DJ Z pick the match, saying he can beat DJ Z in any match he picks. DJ Z picks a Ladder Match.

Lashley retains the TNA X Division Championship against DJ Z in a Ladder Match.

Ethan Carter III talks with Drew Galloway backstage. Drew tells EC3 that while they may look back on this and laugh over a few beers, as long as the World title is between them, they're not friends. Drew Galloway plans on taking down "The Miracle" Mike Bennett so he can meet EC3 in the Bound For Glory Playoffs finals.

Rosemary tells Bram about Johnny, a guy she liked who never noticed her. This led Rosemary to turn to magic, which works. However, she finds out that Johnny isn't the man she thought he was...

It's time for Fact of Life with Eli Drake. Eli Drake says that Lashley can't beat him for the TNA King of the Mountain Championship, and that he'd be more than happy to face him for three separate TNA titles. Suddenly, "The Cowboy" James Storm shows up, but Eli Drake says he's looking for a contender, not a drunk. Storm wants to face Eli Drake for the King of the Mountain title, but he disqualified himself in their last meeting. He offers him another beer, but Eli Drake refuses and drinks from a gallon of water, which Storm kicks out of the ring. He then says that Lashley doesn't sit behind a dummy button, and wants another shot at the King of the Mountain title. Eli Drake tells him to get out and take his beer with him, then James Storm makes a joke about Eli's mom. Eli then hits the dummy button multiple times, then accepts the challenge just to get Storm out of his hair. As Storm leaves, he notices Eli Drake come after him with the King of the Mountain title out of the corner of his eye, but Eli Drake comes out on top and mocks Storm.

Tyrus is...The Fixer...

Grado and Mahabali Shera then call on Tyrus backstage to see if he can help them next week, but they need money.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) and The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) brawl backstage, getting their Monster's Ball Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships underway.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) in a Monster's Ball Match.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett beats Drew Galloway to continue to the finals of the Bound For Glory playoffs after Moose attacks Drew Galloway after the ref is inadvertently knocked down, and after Ethan Carter III shows up to take a kendo stick away from Bennett and hit him with it only for Bennett to dodge and leave EC3 accidentally hitting Drew Galloway with it instead.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 28, 2016

Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett show up. She calls Billy Corgan a good leader in the absence of Dixie Carter, and asks everyone to enjoy her show tonight. Bennett then says she has a golden ticket to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship that he will cash in at Destination X and become TNA's greatest World champ. He tells Lashley he might be big and bad, but he will never be the man he is because he is "The Miracle." Lashley shows up, and tells Bennett he just woke up a sleeping giant and that Bennett is half the man he is. Bennett thinks Lashley is trying to intimidate him, but Lashley says that when he intimidates him, he'll know. He says he'll destroy Ethan Carter III and Drew Galloway tonight, and that Bennett is an afterthought. Bennett hopes Lashley, EC3 and Galloway tear each other apart as he's taking the title at Destination X, but Lashley tells him not to hope for that. Ethan Carter III then makes his entrance, and says he's planned his reemergence. Tonight, he takes the World title back. Lashley tells EC3 he isn't half as tough as he makes himself out to be, and Bennett tells them both to destroy each other so he can eventually cash in. EC3 calls Bennett a piece of shit for taking the X Division title for what he did as well as what he and Maria did to make his aunt Dixie Carter take a leave of absence. Billy Corgan shows up and explains what's going on, and gives Billy the idea of making Bennett defend the X Division Championship tonight. He makes Bennett defend the title against the winner of tonight's X Division battle royal, and adds to the Smashing Pumpkins puns that EC3 made in the process. Bennett then attacks EC3 from behind with the X Division title before he and Lashley gang up on him. Drew Galloway gets into the ring and evens the odds.

Ethan Carter III and Drew Galloway have a heated argument in the back.

Before the next match, Allie tries to get Gail Kim to consider retirement. It doesn't work.

Sienna retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Gail Kim after Jade goes at it with Allie outside of the ring only for Marti Bell to hit Jade in the back with the steel baton. All the while, Gail Kim is distracted, and Sienna hits the Silencer as soon as Gail turns around.

Reby Sky pushes Matt Hardy in a wheelchair as Matt holds Maxell in his arms. Matt says he won't stop until he gets what he needs.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett runs into Drew Galloway backstage. Galloway tells Bennett his mouth has gotten him into trouble, and that he'll be fighting him if he goes for the World title. Bennett says he's going to retain the X Division title tomorrow, and tells Galloway that if he should be angry at anybody, it should be EC3 for costing him the title. He also tells Galloway he's beaten him, but Galloway reminds him that he only did it with the help of Maria.

It's time for Fact of Life with Eli Drake. Eli Drake makes fun of the crowd and talks about what's been going on with himself recently. He then introduces his guest for tonight: James Storm. Storm calls Eli Drake "Eli Dork" and considers starting a drinking game where everyone drinks when the Dummy button is pressed. Eli Drake puts a gallon of water on the desk, then compares himself to other talk show hosts while pressing the Dummy button (with Storm drinking every time he does) before asking Storm where his title is, especially after he's been here since virtually day one. Eli tells him to watch his tongue, but Storm changes the drinking game up by saying that every time he presses the button, he'll "slap the piss" out of him. Eli Drake tells him to leave his show, but Storm tells him that their paths will meet again and he'll beat his ass. Storm leaves, then Eli tosses a beer out of the ring towards Storm. He presses the button, then gets hit with a Last Call Superkick.

Jeff Hardy can't wait to meet Matt Hardy face to face tonight...

Who is The Fixer?

Rosemary tells Bram he will be part of Decay in time.

Matt Hardy shows up with Reby Sky. Matt refuses to leave his wheelchair, and insists Reby push him around so everyone can see what he has become. Matt says he despises the crowd, and blames them and Jeff Hardy for what has happened to him. He calls Jeff out.

Jeff Hardy shows up after the commercial break. Matt Hardy tells Jeff he wants their rivalry to be over, but he will never stop pursuing him until he gets what he needs: another match against Jeff, and a win. He wants six weeks to recuperate before the match, and he also raises the stakes: whoever wins owns the name Hardy. Jeff agrees to the match, then Reby confronts Jeff, telling him he broke Matt and that he has to deal with this. Jeff tells Reby to fly away on her broom, and as Jeff says he'll take care of their son Maxell after the win, Matt suddenly gets up from out of the wheelchair and attacks Jeff before putting his head into a steel chair and hitting him with a Twist of Fate. He then tells Jeff will take place next week "in the sanctuary of our genesis" and that it will lead to "the final deletion."

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett guests on commentary for the next match.

Braxton Sutter wins the X Division Battle Royal, last eliminating Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee, who attack him along with Gregory Shane helms after the battle royal. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett then gets in the ring and demands that his X Division title defense starts right now. Despite an inside cradle near-fall from Sutter, Bennett retains the TNA X Division Championship.

Mahabali Shera and Grado still need a third man to take on Al Snow and The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Judge Baron Dax)...and Grado says he's got this.

We find out that the tag team partner of Grado and Mahabali Shera in this match is...Tyrus.

Grado, Mahabali Shera and Tyrus beat Al Snow and The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Judge Baron Dax).

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett brags about his X Division title defense tonight, and announces that he will call out Billy Corgan next week, cash in and go on to Destination X.

Lashley retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Ethan Carter III and Drew Galloway.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 21, 2016

Drew Galloway starts tonight's show. Before he can say very much, Ethan Carter III shows up and says he had no intention of ruining his title match, and apologizes. Galloway wants to fight EC3 instead. EC3 says Galloway has been burning the candle at both ends, and knows how Galloway feels, but after Galloway refuses to listen to him, EC3 rescinds his apology, and the two of them are about to brawl until Lashley shows up. As Lashley finds humor in the situation, EC3 and Galloway decide to fight Lashley in addition to each other, but Lashley has another idea: a tag team match between the team of EC3 and Galloway and the team of Lashley and a partner of his choice. If EC3 and Galloway, they get a title shot. If they lose, his partner gets a title shot. His partner? Eli Drake, who likes the idea of being a dual champion and seems to have the match all figured out. He's in.

Ethan Carter III and Drew Gallowa beat Lashley and Eli Drake to get their title shot against Lashley.

Rosemary has went to somebody to help Abyss and Crazzy Steve, and she's about to get some answers...

Lashley and Drew Galloway talk backstage. Galloway tells Lashley his plan backfired, but Lashley tells him he holds all the cards and tells him he can still beat him anytime he wants to.

Decay (Abyss, Crazzy Steve, Rosemary) show up. Rosemary says they want and crave the same things, and that they are death dealers and for some, death is all they offer. But they want to breathe life into someone. Rosemary calls out Bram, and Bram shows up. Rosemary asks Abyss and Crazzy Steve to trust "us," and asks the same of Bram, whom she knows has a lot of unanswered questions, and says that the only answer to the loss of all of Bram's tag partners and the TNA King of the Mountain Championship is Decay. Bram rejects their offer to join them, saying he doesn't do make-up as he tells Rosemary to leave the make-up to Crazzy Steve and Abyss. Rosemary gets angry. Crazzy Steve spits the green mist into Bram's face, then he and Abyss beat him up. Rosemary tells Bram they aren't finished with him yet.

Lashley and EC3 chat backstage, and Lashley tells EC3 that he is still the one in control. EC3 still tells Lashley he's coming for him and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Lashley says EC3 and Galloway will get their title shots on his time.

Marti Bell beats Jade with the steel baton.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis are heading to the ring, and they tell Dixie Carter to be there or else...

Dixie Carter tells Lashley that he is defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against both Ethan Carter III and Drew Galloway next week.

Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett show up. Bennett is angered at what happened last week when Dixie Carter slapped Maria Kanellis in the ring. Maria calls out Dixie Carter, telling her to come to the ring and explain herself. Dixie Carter shows up with Billy Corgan, and says anyone else would have done what she did with a smile on their face. Nevertheless, she apologizes Maria wants more, and demands that Dixie step down as President of TNA. Bennett says that Dixie is sitting on a million-dollar lawsuit, and Billy Corgan says they have some points, as neutral as he is trying to stay, and says Dixie's slap put the company in a difficult situation. He asks that Dixie Carter take a week's leave of abscence. Dixie Carter leaves, but not before telling Billy that "this changes everything." Bennett then demands a title shot, but not the World title shot. Destination X is coming up, and he wants a shot at the X Division Championship so he can take advantage of Option C. Billy tells Bennett he has to earn Destination X, but has an idea: he gives him a title match against Eddie Edwards, and it happens right now.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett beats Eddie Edwards by using the ropes to win the TNA X Division Championship!

Robbie E waits on Jesse Godderz in another brief ad for Big Brother After Dark and looks at the Big Brother Cam on Jesse's tablet. He sees Jesse talking to Raquel, and it's obvious they don't want Robbie to know about something. When Jesse shows up, Robbie is disappointed in Jesse, and Jesse has no idea what's going on.

Braxton Sutter is about to face Balam when Rockstar Spud shows up, tells Balam to get out, and then puts himself on a pedestal before mocking Sutter's career. Sutter shoves Spud to the mat, starting a match.

Braxton Sutter beats Rockstar Spud. After the match, Rockstar Spud seems to give respect to Sutter, saying he belongs here, then kicks Sutter in the groin before smacking him with his leather belt and spitting on him.

We learn more about Sienna.

Jeff Hardy beats Matt Hardy in Six Sides of Steel.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 31, 2016

Dixie Carter is seen talking to someone at the beginning of the show...and Dixie is giving that person the show for tonight!

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis show up. He knows that Dixie has put someone in charge, and that he knows it's not the either of them. Maria says that if anyone should be in charge, it should be her. Bennett then calls out whoever is in charge...and it's Ethan Carter III. EC3 tells Bennett that the rematch between them is on for Slammiversary, and gives him the night off so he can have him at 100%...but he's not off the hook yet. EC3 makes Bennett the janitor for tonight as the head of the custodial department pushes a mop bucket to the top of the entrance ramp, and when Maria complains, EC3 announces that she's getting a job evaluation, and if she doesn't pass, she's fired. When EC3 tells them to get out of the ring, Bennett refuses. EC3 threatens to kick Bennett's ass, and Bennett says he's only leaving because he wants to leave. He kicks the mop bucket as he and Maria leave. Lashley then shows up, and wants to fight EC3. But EC3 reminds Lashley that Drew Galloway will be picking his opponent for him. Drew Galloway then makes an appearance.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett finds out from Ethan Carter III that he has his work cleaning toilets tonight cut out for him.

Drew Galloway tells Lashley that his opponent for tonight is Bram.

Lashley then hits Bram with two Spears after the match before Drew Galloway rushes into the ring with a steel chair and forces Lashley to retreat. Eli Drake then rushes in and cashes in his King of the Mountain title shot. After a brief match, Eli Drake beats Bram to become the new TNA King of The Mountain Champion.

Raquel tests the focusing ability of The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) by walking around the pool in a gold swimsuit.

After cleaning the bathroom, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett finds out his next task is learning how to referee, courtesy of Earl Hebner!

Eli Drake celebrates his new title win with some wine...that nobody else gets to drink.

Matt Hardy has invited us - and "Brother Nero" Jeff Hardy - to his home in North Carolina for the contract signing for the match between him and Jeff Hardy at Slammiversary.

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) beats Rockstar Spud and Tyrus with the Adonis Crab in a match with "The Miracle" Mike Bennett as the (reluctant) special guest referee to become the #1 contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Jeff Hardy heads to Matt Hardy's home...

Maria finds out from Ethan Carter III that she will be in the ring next for her job evaluation.

Ethan Carter III and Maria are in the ring, and Allie and Sienna are told to leave the ring for the job evaluation. EC3 brings out Gail Kim for the evaluation, and Gail Kim makes it clear that she wants a match with Maria at Slammiversary. Maria refuses, saying she is the leader of the Knockouts division, and EC3 tells Maria she is only a leader in theory and makes the match official. Maria then has no choice but to tell that at Slammiversary, she will kick Gail's ass. EC3 then puts Sienna and Allie in a tag team match right now against Gail Kim...and Jade.

Gail Kim and Jade beat Sienna and Allie.

Jeff Hardy runs into Reby Sky when he makes it to Matt Hardy's house, and she says she's not sticking around. Jeff goes into the house and finds Matt.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett enters the ring, saying he is sick and tired of refereeing and cleaning toilets and that he is a wrestler and that Maria is not. Ethan Carter III reneges on giving him the night off from wrestling, and puts him in a match against "The Cowboy" James Storm.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett beats "The Cowboy" James Storm after Maria distracts and slaps Storm. After the match, Ethan Carter III tells Bennett he will beat him at Slammiversary, then leaves Bennett with a Last Call superkcik to the face from Storm.

Al Snow is in the ring. He says he is making wrestling great again, and has some new recruits from London, who he introduces as "his tribunal." Basilie Baraka (formerly Sylvester LeFort) amd Judge Baron Dax (formerly Marcus Louis). They call themselves judge, jury and executioner and will take down anyone in their way, and that they now do it for Al Snow as The Tribunal. Snow says he needed only one wrestling move - the Snow Plow - to beat Grado last week. Grado shows up and says he's lying, saying he needed The Tribunal and weapons to beat him, but Al Snow says the video is doctored, and also makes "your mom" jokes towards him and Mahabali Shera. Shera and Grado brawl with The Tribunal, and Al Snow hits Grado in the back with a chair before doing the same to Shera, allowing The Tribunal to come out on top in this brawl.

We meet Braxton Sutter for the first time, and he tells us about himself. (Braxton Sutter has performed in TNA in the past under his indies name Pepper Parks.)

Matt Hardy has Jeff Hardy follow him outside to a shed and into a ring...

Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy finally sign their contract for their Slammiversary. As Jeff asks Matt if he really wants to end it where it all began, Reby Sky shows up and tosses Maxel to Jeff...only to reveal that it's a plastic doll and not her real child. Matt then hits Jeff from behind and puts him through a nearby table.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis shows up. Bennett brags about beating Ethan Carter III, and when he addresses what the TNA fans have said about him he says that he doesn't have a God complex, he is God. He then declares he deserves to be world champ. Suddenly, Jeff Hardy shows up, and confronts Bennett over the fact that Bennett called himself God. Jeff tells Bennett that beating EC3 is a joke, and Bennett retorts by saying he's stolen his fans. Hardy then tells Bennett he'll have to beat him if he really wants to prove himself. Bennett, viewing this as a challenge, tells Jeff he will get with Dixie Carter to make the main event a match between the two of them, but Hardy says they can go right now...and they do. Jeff Hardy sends Mike Bennett out of the ring, and Bennett asks for a ref to make this match official right now. A referee shows up, and the match is on.

Jeff Hardy vs. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett ends when Lashley arrives and Spears Hardy after a Bennett reversal. Afterwards, Lashley hits Bennett with a spear, then says he is the baddest man in TNA and that he will stay in the ring until he gets his world title shot. Dixie Carter shows up and tells him he won't just have a title shot handed to him. He'll have to face Hardy and Bennett for it, and to make sure the match stays fair, Drew Galloway will be special guest referee.

Decay (Rosemary, Abyss and Crazzy Steve) celebrate being tag team champs, and says change is upon them and everyone else. Rosemary then starts the "transformation" of Crazzy Steve and Abyss by spitting her trademark mist into Crazzy Steve's mouth and Abyss' unmasked face.

Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) show up. Crazzy Steve and Abyss' faces are covered by black rags. As Rosemary brags about their win to Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode), the black rags come off. Steve's comes off first, and he speaks. He says Rosemary gave him a voice, and that the monster Abyss gave them purpose. Abyss is changed even more, for as the rag comes off, his mask is replaced with black paint similar to Crazzy Steve's. With his mask cast away, so is his pain. He feels beautiful, and finds beauty in decay. As Decay celebrate their new transformation, James Storm shows up. Abyss declares Beer Money dead. Storm says he's still standing, and takes on all of Decay at once...and wins. As Decay flees, Storm challenges Abyss to a fight.

Maria Kanellis says that Gail Kim paid the price for opposing her last week...and that this week, Jade will find out the hard way...

Jeff Hardy says he is focused for tonight's main event. As for his brother Matt Hardy, he says that Matt is a changed man...and not for the better.

Maria Kanellis is in the ring. She plans on making the Knockouts Division great again, then introduces Jade to the ring. Jade doesn't show up until her music hits twice. Maria asks Jade to stand behind her and admit her mistake for being viewed as a badass by laying down for her so that she can have the title, and asks for a referee. Jade tells her that's not happening, and Maria responds by telling Jade she'll have a fight instead of a match before sending out the newest signee to the Knockouts Divison: Sienna. Sienna absolutely lays waste to Jade.

Bram says he's not a follower anymore, and tonight, he puts the King of the Mountain title on the line in an open challenge.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett butts in on the impending interview between Jeremy Borash and Ethan Carter III, saying that he should be the one being interviewed, and that if he can beat EC3, he can beat anyone and become TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

A bitter Matt Hardy says that Jeff Hardy tried to end him, and that the doctors now say that he can't wrestle again.

As "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis enter the ring, Ethan Carter III suddenly appears. EC3 congratulates Bennett on doing the impossible and actually pinning him, and appreciates that Bennett is not all talk after saying he would pin him and did it. EC3 then says he accepts the loss like a man and that it changed him, and that the win defines Bennett. He wishes Bennett luck so he can see what being world champ is like, but reminds him he can take it from him and that they will fight again, and if Bennett wants to proclaim himself God, he'll be his devil.

In a match where Lashley inadvertently hits special guest referee Drew Gallow with a Spear and Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) interfere and attack Jeff Hardy, Lashley beats Jeff Hardy and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett in a three-way match to become #1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Galloway reluctantly counts the pin and raises Lashley's hand after the match, but Galloway sees the sneak attack from Lashley coming and the two of them brawl to end the show.

Matt says Jeff has done nothing to help him, and calls Jeff "selfish" before telling him to get out of his life. Jeff says that Matt is self-destructing, and Matt goes into denial and tells Jeff to change his name, but Jeff says the crowd chants "Hardy" for a reason: all they've done together. Matt says he doesn't care about the fans and says they're irrelevant. Reby Sky butts in and says that Matt is the bigger brand, and that Jeff is afraid to fight his brother as the crowd chants "Jeff is Better." Jeff says the only thing he's afraid of is Reby's "crazy bitch genes being in their family tree." He then says that there is no winner in a match between him and Matt, but tells Matt he's got his match anyway.

Matt and Tyrus want Jeff gone for what they cost them, and Matt says he'll beat Jeff so badly he'll make Jeff quit. He decides to make the match an "I Quit Match." Jeff decides to make it interesting by holding a tag team match between the two of them tonight. If Matt wins, he gets his "I Quit" Match. If Jeff wins, it'll be Full Metal Mayhem.

Maria says that Gail Kim got what she deserved...and says she will enter the ring to get what she deserves...

Eddie Edwards is found hurt backstage.

Rebel and Marti Bell shows up and call out Maria on calling the Knockouts Division sheep before focusing their anger on Jade. Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky show up and say that Maria doesn't speak for them. Billy Corgan shows up and makes it clear he's sick and tired of her machinations. He puts Jade in a match against Madison Rayne with the Knockouts title on the line, then sets up a match for next week: all the Knockouts in one ring, with the winner becoming the new leader of the Knockouts Division. Maria then insists she will be the leader next week, then Jade goes for Maria's face only to accidentally punch Madison Rayne, starting a brawl.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett says that he's nothing like EC3, and says he doesn't need to evolve because he knows who he is. He says he's been writing EC3's history as of late, and he plans to make the newest chapter the one where he kicks his ass.

Jeff Hardy says it's personal between him and Matt Hardy, and knows he has to win tonight to even the odds next week in his favor. He's picked Drew Galloway as his tag team partner.

Al Snow announces he will be making his public apology tonight.

Al Snow is in the ring to apologize to Grado and Mahabali Shera. He asks Shera to come to the ring, and Shera almost clobbers him before Snow tells him to give him a chance to explain himself. Snow is upset that wrestling that changed and that he's been told that wrestling has passed him by, and that wrestling has changed as he comes from an era where somebody couldn't just waltz into a company whenever they wanted. Snow chalks up his actions to jealousy, and wants to do what he can for Shera and Grado. Shera accepts his apology after Snow says that Shera has his word, but as they leave, Snow brutally attacks Shera from behind and then leaves.

Tyrus asks Drew Galloway if he knows what he's doing. Drew says he knows. Tyrus reminds Drew that he still has a title shot he can cash in anytime he wants after he suggests to Drew that he get a bodyguard.

Al Snow says he doesn't have to explain his attack on Mahabali Shera, and says that guys like Grado shouldn't be able to waltz in whenever they want.

Jade retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Madison Rayne.

Next week: Eddie Edwards vs. DJ Z vs. Trevor Lee for the X Division Championship!

Matt Hardy and Tyrus beat Jeff Hardy and Drew Galloway after Matt hits Jeff with a hammer given to him by Reby Sky. Next week's match between Jeff and Matt will be an I Quit Match. After the match, Drew and Jeff are attacked by Lashley, who then hits Drew with a Spear before he fakes leaving, hits Drew with a Spear again, and then holds the TNA World Heavyweight Championship up in the air.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 29, 2016

Matt Hardy shows up with Reby Sky, Tyrus and Rockstar Spud. He says a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for Jeff Hardy isn't going to happen, and if anyone deserves a rematch for the title, it's him. He demands a rematch now. Suddenly, Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett show up. Bennett tells Matt to relax, as nobody wants to see him as world champion and that TNA needs a miracle...and him as TNA World Champion. Reby tells Maria to leave along with Bennett, and Maria says that Reby has no idea to be a lady. Reby is about to beat her up, but Spud and Matt hold her back. Matt tells Bennett to get in line, and Bennett says that while Matt is a potential Hall of Famer, he's old and washed up. Matt and Bennett are about to fight about it when Ethan Carter III shows up and makes fun of everyone in the ring, especially Mike Bennett, who says he's not going to fight him tonight. EC3 says he will, and says he won't leave until he gets a fight right now. Matt gives him a fight: EC3 vs. Matt, Reby, Spud and Tyrus. EC3 accepts the challenge, saying "At least one of you has some balls."

Ethan Carter III vs. The Matt Hardy Brand (Matt Hardy, Reby Sky, Tyrus and Rockstar Spud) ends when "The Miracle" Mike Bennett, who is watching the match from ringside, attacks EC3. It's a five-on-one attack on EC3 until Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) show up and clear the ring. They then say they want a fight, and challenges three of EC3's attackers to a six-man tag match.

Matt Hardy, Tyrus and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett beat Ethan Carter III and Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) after EC3 chases Bennett to the back and Tyrus puts an end to Beer Money's double teaming.

Jeremy Borash interviews Gail Kim, who desperately wants to get her hands on Maria. Maria may have done some talking with TNA management to get out of a fight with her and make Jade #1 contender to the Knockouts title, but she's done some talking of her own with management, and has set up a #1 contender's match for the Knockouts title that involves Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky.

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) are talking in the locker room when Eli Drake shows up, making it clear he's none too pleased with the Bro Mans reunion, and tells them to go into a dark hole and never come out. This gives Jessie an idea: go in a new, darker direction.

Madison Rayne beats Velvet Sky with a jackknife pin to become #1 contender for the TNA Knockouts Championship. Madison teases attacking Velvet after the match, but both women show respect in the end.

Drew Galloway has respect for Jeff Hardy, but says that he's going to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship tonight against Jeff Hardy.

The Pope is in the ring. As he speaks and says it's time to let a man be a man, Lashley shows up and tells Pope to apologize and return to the commentary table before he gets in the ring and hurts him. Pope sees no need to apologize to Lashley for recent events, and calls him out for a fight. Lashley gives him one last chance to back down before he hurts him, and Pope responds by hitting Lashley, who quickly gets the upper hand in the brawl before beating up officials. But Pope gets right back up, dodges a Spear from Lashley, knocks down a few refs and hits Lashley from the top rope. Security has to rush in to stop this brawl.

Jeff Hardy is psyched for tonight's world title match, and plans to play the underdog and take the world title.

Matt Hardy calls tonight's main event "a travesty of justice," and insists he should be having a rematch for the World title.

Eric Young and Bram show up. They may have hit a speed bump last week, but EY says he will take the World title from Jeff Hardy when he wins it. The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godders) interrupt, and challenge them to a fight.

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) beat Eric Young and Bram.

Grado and Mahabali Shera are about to party when they get beat up by Al Snow, who seriously hurts Grado and tells him he doesn't belong here after breaking his arm.

Gregory Shane Helms and Trevor Lee are in the ring. Helms says he's here to get people to talk about the X Division again, but he's here to do more than that. He calls out Eddie Edwards, who shows up. Helms says that The Woves (Edwards, Davey Richards) is a great tag team. Eddie Edwards says he came here with Davey Richards to prove they're the best tag team out there right now. Davey carried on as a singles wrestler when he was injured, and now that Davey's injured, he's going to do likewise. Helms says his TNA debut is imminent, and tries to sell Eddie Edwards on tag teaming with him and taking the TNA World Tag Team Championships from Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode). He gives him a week to think about it, and says he hopes that Eddie makes the smart decision.

The Pope says he wants Lashley for a fight next week.

Drew Galloway retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Hardy. After the match, Matt Hardy shows up and says he will take the TNA World Championship back from Galloway. Galloway says that while he just fought Jeff Hardy, he'll fight Matt right now. He does just that as Bram and Eric Young attack Jeff Hardy outside the ring before they focus on Galloway. Galloway hits two Claymores on both EY and Bram, and Jeff hits a Twist of Fate on Matt. All three men leave the ring, then Jeff Hardy challenges Eric Young to a Six Sides of Steel match.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 15, 2016

Jeff Hardy is officially back in TNA. As Jeff Hardy heads to the ring, Eric Young tells Dixie Carter that he gets Jeff one-on-one tonight and that he promises to break him for "always getting what he wants."

During the match between Eric Young and Jeff Hardy, Dixie Carter shows up and confronts Eric Young for complaining about Jeff. She tells him to finish what he started when he hit Jeff Hardy with a piledriver, and announces that whoever wins this match will be added to the World title match later tonight.

Jeff Hardy beats Eric Young to continue on to the TNA World Championship match later tonight. Matt Hardy shows up with Reby Sky and Maxel.

After the commercial break, Matt Hardy congratulates his brother Jeff Hardy on the win and apologizes for not being there to save him from Eric Young because he was protecting his wife. Reby Sky tries to kiss up to Jeff by saying he's Maxel's favorite wrestler behind Matt, and has Jeff hold Maxel. Matt then asks Jeff to give up his spot in the World title match in exchange for a title shot in a year or two. Jeff says no, and Matt insists he take the deal. Jeff flips the bird at Matt (which is poorly censored), and gives Matt a Twist of Fate.

Eddie Edwards gets jumped by Decay (Abyss and Crazzy Steve) backstage.

Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett plan to change TNA...and they plan to do that with him and Maria beating Gail Kim and Drew Galloway tonight.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) meet up with Eddie Edwards backstage. He plans to go after Decay (Abyss and Crazzy Steve). Beer Money face the camera and call out Decay, challenging them to a match.

Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett beat Gail Kim and Drew Galloway in Maria's debut match in TNA when Kanellis gets a schoolgirl pin on a distracted Gail Kim.

Josh Mathews interviews Lashley in the ring. Lashley says he waited a long time to fight Kurt Angle again, because fighting is what he does. He says he's the toughest and most dominating man in the entire business, but he's still getting overlooked, so he became tough and dominating to get Angle to fight him. Lashley says that his mentor Kurt Angle is not his friend, and he doesn't want or need any. All he cares about is hurting people. When Lashley says that Josh Mathews is taking issue with his actions as of late, he tosses Mathews across the ring. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero gets in the ring to get Lashley to stop, but when Pope checks on Josh, Lashley absolutely destroys him with a Spear.

Decay (Abyss and Crazzy Steve) tell Eddie Edwards and Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) that their decay will come at their hands. As for the third person that will fight with them, it's none other than Rosemary.

Jeremy Borash replaces "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero on commentary for the rest of the night.

Ethan Carter III talks to Jeff Hardy backstage. Hardy senses a genuine change in EC3, who says he's prepared for anything and that Jeff Hardy is the thing nobody saw coming in this match. Both men tell the other that they will win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Decay (Abyss, Crazzy Steve, Rosemary) beat Eddie Edwards and Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) after Rosemary spits mist into Storm's eyes. Eddie Edwards goes after her, but Crazzy Steve hits a low blow on him and pins him with a schoolboy pin.

Billy Corgan tells Grado that the feud between him and Eli Drake ends in the ring now. They head to the ring...

Matt Hardy and Reby Sky confront Dixie Carter over Jeff Hardy being in the World title match tonight. Dixie says she makes decisions for the fans, not for her or for anyone in the locker room. Matt tells Dixie he will punch in the ref to get disqualified and stay champion, which causes Dixie to make the match no-disqualification and no count-outs.

Eli Drake is in the ring. He's prepared for a fight, and tells Billy Corgan to bring out Grado and his briefcase back, insinuating that Grado stole his briefcase. It is revealed that Eli Drake stole Grado's briefcase, not the other way around. Billy and Grado show up, and Eli takes the briefcase by force when Billy tells Grado to give the briefcase back to him. He then has a brand-new TNA contract for Grado, but there's a catch: it's going to be hung high above the ring in a ladder match. If Grado grabs the contract, he's back in TNA. If Eli Drake grabs the contract - and rips it up - Grado's gone for good.

Grado beats Eli Drake in a Contract Ladder Match and becomes a member of the TNA roster again.

Eric Young tells Bram that everyone is out to get them backstage. He also thinks he saw Willow.

Next week: Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) issue an open challenge for the TNA World Tag Team Championships!

Jeff Hardy vs. Ethan Carter III vs. Matt Hardy ends with none of the three men as TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Instead, the title is now in the hands of Drew Galloway, who shows up as Matt Hardy mouths off at the fans after Eric Young and Bram take Jeff Hardy out of the equation with an EY piledriver, Rockstar Spud and Tyrus fail to take out EC3, and EC3 himself is taken out of the match by none other than "The Miracle" Mike Bennett. Galloway cashes in his Feast or Fired briefcase for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship and beats Matt Hardy in a no-disqualification, no count-outs triple threat match to win the title.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 1, 2016

Jeff Hardy congratulates Rockstar Spud for last week.

Kurt Angle beats Bobby Roode with the Ankle Lock Submission.

After the match, Bobby Roode says that there is no shame in losing to Kurt Angle, and thanks Kurt for everything he's done. "The Cowboy" James Storm shows up and thanks Angle as well, calling him a TNA legend and saying that their friendship has been priceless. The three of them have a toast, Angle with a half-gallon of milk and Roode and Storm with some wine. Angle says he wants to see Beer Money (Roode and Storm) take on The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards). The Wolves show up, and Davey Richards calls Kurt Angle the one constant in his life and career. As for The Wolves vs. Beer Money for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, he's all for it. Eddie Edwards tells Beer Money to keep the Feast or Fired Briefcase, because they'll lose. Storm, on the other hand, says that Beer Money will come out on top.

Matt Hardy shows up with Reby Sky and Tyrus. He says he came into the cage with one mission: beat Ethan Carter III. He then says he is done with EC3 and that he owns him. He then congratulates the man who helped him beat EC3 last night: Rockstar Spud. Spud shows up, clad completely in black and leather, says the audience would have sold out too if they lived in England their entire lives. He then turns on the fans for cheering for EC3, saying not one person stood up for him when he needed it most. Spud says he did the right thing: take from him what he's always wanted and craved, which is the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. After putting Matt and his family on a pedestal, he calls Matt the greatest TNA World Heavyweight Champion of all time, as well as the one the company needs and deserves. As Spud talks about how they "got rid of the cancer," EC3 shows up, clearing the ring and taking down both Matt Hardy. Spud tries to attack EC3 from behind, but runs when his attack has no effect. EC3 then challenges Spud to a fight tonight.

Gail Kim tells Maria from backstage that she had her chance to prove herself the miracle of women's wrestling and blew it...so now she's calling her out for a fight.

After Matt Hardy and Rockstar Spud blame Dixie Carter for everything that's happened as a result of her not firing Ethan Carter III, Dixie declares tonight's fight between Matt Hardy and EC3 unsanctioned.

We finally learn the identity of the man in white: Jimmy Havoc.

Abyss beats Jimmy Havoc in a no-disqualification Match.

Ethan Carter III gives Rockstar Spud credit for waiting a year to get revenge on him, but still says he is a coward. He says tonight will be a slaughter, and that it will not be merciful.

Gail Kim shows up and calls out Maria Kanellis, saying she showed her true colors when the crowd wanted to see her fight. She tells her to come on out. Maria shows up and says she's proud of the lesson she taught her: that she would be just like Gail if she got in the ring last week. She then says Gail wants to be like her, but Gail calls her "a crazy-ass bitch" and says she's nothing like her. Maria says Gail married a celebrity chef, then says she herself enjoys being a celebrity. Gail says the crowd wants to see her fight and chases Maria to the back, but Jade attacks Gail from behind and eventually hits her with the Knockouts Championship belt. She then tells Gail Kim that she's coming for what's hers.

Eric Young and Bram show up, and both men say that nobody can beat Eric. Eric Young challenges anyone who thinks he can beat him to come down to the ring, and the one to answer is UK indies sensation Big Damo.

Eric Young retains the TNA King of the Mountain Championship against Big Damo.

Drew Galloway tells "The Miracle" Mike Bennett that he will be the one needing the miracle as he will make him tap out.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett beats Drew Galloway after Maria Kanellis puts Bennett's foot on the rope as Galloway has him in the Iron Maiden. This distracts Galloway, and Bennett rolls him up with a schoolboy for the win.

Matt Hardy tells Rockstar Spud to get ready for tonight's match and make Ethan Carter III "pay for his sins."

We hear from Grado, who says he can prove that he was screwed out of a job in TNA.

Next week: Kurt Angle vs. Lashley! Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) vs. The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards)!

Tyrus and Matt Hardy attack Ethan Carter III as he makes his way to the ring for the main event, but EC3 beats Tyrus up and locks Matt Hardy in a truck.

The non-sanctioned match between Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud ends with EC3 choking Spud out.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 16, 2016

Dixie Carter tells Ethan Carter III he gets his rematch against Matt Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship next week in London...and it's Six Sides of Steel. This week, however, EC3 has business to take care of...

Ethan Carter III arrives. He knows he had a chip on his shoulder when he arrived. He has beaten great opponents, but Matt Hardy is the only one on his mind. EC3 mentions his rematch for next week, then calls out Tyrus so they can settle some unfinished business. Tyrus says EC3 is afraid and that he doesn't want this, especially since nobody is watching his back right now. The two of them then inevitably brawl until Matt Hardy attacks EC3 from behind, but EC3 is able to fight back and force Hardy and Tyrus to retreat. Hardy then tells EC3 that if he wants revenge so badly, he'll find a tag team partner and take on both him and Tyrus in a tag team match tonight.

Eric Young and Bram are in the ring. EY reminds everyone that they are looking not only at the king, but at God. As he challenges anyone tough enough to face him, e says that Jeff Hardy won't take his title anytime soon. Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) show up and say they're ready to fight both Eric Young and Bram. Young tells Roode he had his chance. Storm then challenges EY for the title, and this starts a match.

Eric Young and "The Cowboy" James Storm fight to a double count-out after Bram and Bobby Roode get involved. The brawl is then carried on into the stands.

Drew Galloway talks to Ethan Carter III backstage. Drew volunteers to be his tag team partner due to sharing a common goal, but EC3 declines the offer as he wants to go it alone.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) continue to brawl with Eric Young and Bram backstage.

Before the next match, Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett declare that Bennett will be the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion, which explains the cheap shot he got last week. He also tells Drew Galloway that he will fail after he cashes in the Feast or Fired briefcase. Since Kurt Angle wants to duck out of a fight with him (in his words), he's picked Mandrews to be the next person to fight him. Bennett says he's impressed, but says it will take a miracle for Mandrews to beat him. Mandrews tells him to shut the hell up and smacks the mic into his face, starting the match.

"The Miracle" Michael Bennett beats Mandrews. He beats Mandrws up again after the match, but Drew Galloway shows up. When he rushes into the ring, however, Bennett retreats.

Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) say that The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) will be lying in a pool of their own blood and decay when they're done tonight. Suddenly, an unknown man dressed in white with an appearance as crazy as Decay's suddenly shows up, wanting Rosemary's attention.

Odarg the Great is coming...

Matt Hardy and Tyrus surprise Rockstar Spud. Hardy tells him not to stick his nose in their business, and that Ethan Carter III is an evil man.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) in a chaotic Monster's Ball Match to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Rockstar Spud confronts Ethan Carter III. EC3 tells Spud to stay out of the match.

Mahabali Shera introduces us to Odarg The Great. It's obviously Grado in a mask.

Eric Young and Bram brawl with Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) again, then escape. Beer Money challenges them to a Lethal Lockdown match next week.

Mahabali Shera and Odarg The Great beat Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz, but not before Odarg is unmasked.

Odarg The Great challenges Eli Drake to a match at Lockdown next week. Jessie Godders can't stop laughing.

During the handicap match between Ethan Carter III and the team of Matt Hardy and Tyrus, Rockstar Spud shows up to become EC3's tag team partner.

Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III beat Matt Hardy and Tyrus.
