Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for June 21, 2023
The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) beat The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson distracts the referee, allowing Austin Gunn to shove Jeff Hardy off the turnbuckle so The Gunns can hit Jeff Hardy with the 3:10 To Yuma. After the match, "Switchblade" Jay White shows up and joins in on the post-match attack on The Hardys, hitting Matt Hardy with Blade Runner before helping Juice Robinson knock Jeff out with a left hand loaded with quarters. Before Juice can do the same to Matt, "Absolute" Ricky Starks rushes in, but when the numbers game overpowers him, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) also run into the ring. The Gunns and Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson) are still on the attack when CM Punk joins in to finally even the odds. Juice Robinson barely avoids the GTS as The Gunns and Bullet Club Gold retreat. CM Punk then challenges Bullet Club Gold to a match on Collision since they want to fight so badly.
Mark Briscoe beats Jeff Jarrett in a Concession Stand Brawl with the help of Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Barretta), The Lucha Brothers (Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix), "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Papa Briscoe to counter Jeff Jarrett's crew.
We hear from The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson), Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita. Jon Moxley says "BCC" are the only letters that matter as they have defined professional wrestling this year. He says that they have assembled "a truly elite team" along with Shota Umina and challenge The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kenny Omega, "Hangman" Adam Page) to a five-on-five match at Forbidden Door. Bryan Danielson says he has challenged Kazuchika Okada to a face-to-face meeting, then says Okada is not here because it will be clear to everyone that he is nothing but an amateur when they get in the ring. He says that he will call Okada out, and if Okada does not show up, he will prove everything he has just said and that he is a coward.
Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Minoru Suzuki beat Action Andretti, Darius Martin and AR Fox in a trios match with the Lion Tamer from Chris Jericho to an airborne Darius Martin. After the match, Renee Paquette interviews Jericho, Guevara and Suzuki in the ring. Jericho talks about being in the ring with Sting for the very first time, calling it a monumental moment in wrestling history, with everyone excited for it except for him. He says he knows Sting and how selfish and egotistical he is, claiming to be a man of the people when he is where the highest bidder is. He says that Sting is a whore, not a harlequin, and that it stops now. He then challenges Sting and Darby Allin to find a partner and face them in a trios match at Forbidden Door. He says that Sting will not accept his challenge because he is a coward, then Sting and Darby show up. Sting says they had a great moment last week, but a moment is not enough and he wants time with him. On Sunday, he plans on having time with Jericho, and he and Darby accept Jericho's "lame" challenge. Darby tells Jericho that he has made a lot of enemies in a lot of places and that they have the guy for Sunday. When Jericho asks who it is, Darby tells Jericho he will find out on Collision.
RC City and Tony Schiavone draw names for the Blind Eliminator Tournament for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The brackets will be announced next week.

Eddie Kingston shows up and admits he does not like The Elite, but he hates Claudio Castagnoli more. He then says he wants to pick the fifth man, who he trusts more than The Elite, and that he will make the announcement.
Adam Cole heads to the ring. Cole gives the devil his due and admits that MJF gave him one of the toughest matches of his entire career last week, and while he did everything in his power to win the match, he could not do it. He then says that MJF did not win either, and while it was smart of MJF not to accept five more minutes, it was also the cowardly thing to do. He tells MJF that he has to face all comers who get in his way, and that he has never beaten him. Adam Cole then calls MJF out so he can get a rematch, then MJF shows up. MJF congratulates Adam Cole for coming out to play and coming back and better than ever, and takes responsibility for dragging that out of him before telling Cole he lost track of time while he had Cole beat. MJF then says that because he cares about Cole's health and well-being, he declines giving Cole a rematch. Cole says he saw this coming, then proposes they fight right now so he can whip his ass. Tony Schiavone interrupts them MJF and Cole from the announce table, and after MJF and Cole simultaneously tell him to shut up, Schiavone tells him that they are now partners in the Blind Tag Eliminator Tournament. Cole does not want to team with MJF, and MJF does not want to wrestle every week. Both men are livid. Hiroshi Tanahashi then shows up on the video screen, telling MJF that he is a coward and that he will show him what kind of a champion he is at Forbidden Door. Cole then tells MJF to be careful about his answer to Tanahashi, as he sounds like he knows Tanahashi is better than him. MJF says nobody is "on the level of the Devil," but Cole leads a "coward" chant. MJF then angrily accepts Tanahashi's challenge for Forbidden Door, then Cole jokingly wishes MJF luck before mockingly calling him "partner."

When Ospreay asks why, Callis says he wants to see a fair fight.
We see a video package for Willow Nightingale vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at Forbidden Door.
Kris Statlander retains the TBS Championship against Taya Valkyrie.
Eddie Kingston is in the ring. After stating that The Elite have left the arena because he told them that he does not respect them, he reiterates that he cannot stand Claudio Castagnoli at all, then Jon Moxley shows up in the crowd and heads to the ring. Moxley tells Eddie that he knows how this goes and tells him that he is drawing a line at Forbidden Door. Eddie tells Moxley that he drew the line when he teamed with Claudio, not him, then irritably announces that his team's fifth man is Tomohiro Ishii. Ishii gets in the ring as Claudio, Wheeler Yuta and Bryan Danielson attack Eddie, then attack Ishii before Danielson calls out Kazuchika Okada. He then threatens to stomp Ishii's face in if Okada does not arrive, but Okada arrives and confronts Danielson. Danielson and Okada stare each other down in the middle of the ring until Wheeler Yuta attacks Okada from behind, then holds Okada down. Okada moves out of the way of the Busaiku Knee, but Danielson avoids the Rainmaker and retreats. Okada then grabs Wheeler Yuta and hits him with the Rainmaker before staring down Danielson to end the show.

Generation NXT 2.0 - NXT 2.0 recap for June 21, 2022
In memory of Tim White, 1954 - 2022.
Before the next match, Grayson Waller says he is sick and tired of hearing about Solo Sikoa and that everyone should be talking about him, and that everyone loves Solo because they are "solo in their lives." He also says he is tired of censoring himself on the microphone and that it is time to say what he thinks about everyone around here. Before he can do that, Solo Sikoa levels him with a clothesline.
Grayson Waller beats Solo Sikoa after Solo Sikoa runs into a turnbuckle exposed by Grayson Waller earlier in the match.
Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews The D'Angelo Family. Tony D'Angelo says tonight is a good night if Legado del Fantasmo (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Elektra Lopez) beats Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp and he wins the North American title tonight. Tony says Legado del Fantasma knows what to do, and after shaking hands with Santos Escobar, says that if he is not North American Champion, there will be hell to pay. Santos Escobar tells Tony D'Angelo "I've got this."
We see a vignette for Jordan Devlin, now known as JD McDonagh, who says that the winds of change are coming with his arrival to NXT.
Katana Chance and Kayden Carter beat Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon.
Wes Lee heads to the ring. Wes thanks the fans and says it is a blessing to still be here and receive their blessing, especially after the last three months when he has gone from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. He talks about how he went from being a two-time tag team champion only to have their world explore under his and Nash Carter's feet. (Nash Carter is not mentioned.) He says that while his world has crumbled under his feet and he is searching through the rubble for himself, he felt nothing but pain and anger and he was not himself, and that he had to prove that he could stand on his own two feet and do what he needs to do. Suddenly, Trick Williams shows up and tells Wes Lee that nobody wants to hear his story, then says Wes Lee left Nash Carter behind and that he is not the friend he pretends to be, and that Nash is gone because he left him behind. Wes tells Trick that he has no idea how he was there for Nash Carter and how they were together for so long, and says Trick cannot understand because he is second fiddle to Carmelo Hayes and asks if Trick has any hype for himself. Trick says he does things on his own time and that he will leave just like Wes' old friends did to him.
Backstage, we hear from Tiffany Stratton, who thinks Wendy Choo is "tragic" and that she "sucks at life" so badly she feels bad for the people around her, and says she handles herself better than Wendy does herself. She says that Wendy Choo does not even know a gym and that she cannot blame her for being jealous, then says she ruined her ring gear with confetti. She calls Wendy a "Peter Pan reject" and says she has no problem putting her to sleep for good.
Diamond Mine (Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp) beat Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro) after Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan unwittingly trips Cruz del Toro with a crobar on the outside. After the match, we find out it is less than unwittingly after Two Dimes and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo accuse Wilde and del Tro of "dropping the ball."
Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Giovanni Vinci, who says he is the most supreme athlete in NXT and that he sent a message in style. He says everyone knows that a top tier talent has just walked in with style. Suddenly, Ikemen Jiro shows up and says that he sees Vinci, then asks Vinci if he is "style strong" before stating that they will find out.
We see a vignette for Apollo Crews, who says that one must confront fear even when it it is not easy, and says that the different between him then and him now is that he is fearless. As he walks, someone warns him not to go down an alley as three men try to rob someone. In a vision, Apollo fights off the robbers. Apollo walks off with the man being robbed, then we return to reality, where Apollo then goes into the alley before the vignette cuts to black.
Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Jacy Jayne, Gigi Dolin) head to the ring. Mandy makes it clear that last week, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade and Indi Hartwell may have had a fluke win, but they are still losers. Gigi says this is reality and that Roxanne will get a toxic reality check when she realizes she is not on their level. Jacy says that Cora Jade folds under pressure and has become "a real pro" at it, then tells Roxanne to take a bus back home and put posters of real superstars like them on her wall. Mandy says that if Roxanne sticks around, her dreams will become a really ugly nightmare. Roxanne and Cora show up, and Mandy says that a couple wins will not get her a challenge against her. She also tells Roxanne not to be delusional and not to cash in her contract, then Roxanne says that she is on top of the world, she has earned her way to her dreams, which are even better when one gets to share them. Roxanne says that she and Cora got to thinking last week and says that while winning the Women's Championship would be nice, winning the tag titles would be that much sweeter. Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro show up, and Kayden says the line starts behind them because they are not done yet, but Cora says they are done after In Your House. Katana says Cora and Roxanne do not get to cut the line because they are "flavor of the month," but Cora says she has been here for a year and says that Kayden and Katana are done. This starts a brawl between the two teams on the ramp that Toxic Attraction enjoys as referees break it up.
Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Carmelo Anthony and Trick Williams. Carmelo and Trick laugh about Trick "checking" Wes Lee, and Carmelo says that business will be taken care of and that he will remain North American Champion.
Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Indi Hartwell when Kiana James interrupts and says she deals with facts and figures, not emotions, as they do not lie, and says that Indi jumps from friend to friend because she is weak and lacks mental focus. Indi says that nobody cares about Kiana James' opinion, and tells her to meet her in the ring next week so she can make her eat all of her words. Kiana James accepts and tells Indi to prepare for another failure, but Indi tells her that this is NXT and that "nobody likes a bitch."
Cameron Grimes beats Edris Enofe. Edris Enofe and Malik Blade shake hands with Cameron Grimes after the match.
In footage from earlier this week, Thea Hail shows up at Chase University and finds out that Bodhi Hayward is her roommate and that Chase University has co-ed dorms, much to the delight of Thea and the hesitation of Bodhi.
We hear from Nikkita Lyons, who says that patience is not a virtue and that is sucks, then says she has been working her way to recovery and that next week, she is coming back.
Von Wagner beats Brooks Jensen.
Backstage, Bron Breakker tells Cameron Grimes that he has a lot of heart and that he saw the Cameron Grimes he wants to face, but Cameron tells him that if he gets that version of him, he will be the next NXT Champion.
Joe Gacy talks to The Dyad and thanks them for throwing their past lives behind so that he could show them the light inside of them, then tells them that they are reborn, ready to take over the world and no longer see themselves the same way. He says that gold is flavorless, but says that they return to it, it will taste sweet now that they are under his guidance.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
Alba Fyre beats Lash Legend by disqualification when Lash Legend hits her with her own baseball bat.
Carmelo Hayes retains the NXT North American Championship against Tony D'Angelo. During the match, Tony D'angelo tells Santos Escobar to give him some brass knuckles, but Escobar throws them to Carmelo Hayes instead, who ends up using them against Tony D'Angelo and hiding the evidence to retain the title.

It's time for The VIP Lounge. MVP, Bobby Lashley and their entourage enter the ring. MVP gives Lashley the opportunity to say a few words, and Lashley says that he and Drew McIntyre went through hell and that McIntyre almost took him to the limits, then says that McIntyre's best was still not enough. MVP and Lashley celebrate the fact that McIntyre can never challenge Lashley for the WWE Championship again, then MVP proposes a toast to Lashley just before The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) show up with a serving cart with toast on it. The New Day then throw toast into the ring, and MVP says that Kofi and Xavier's clownery is why they were not even on late night's show and that they will continue to cosplay and play video games as he and Lashley enjoy the finer things in life. Kofi says that it is well-documented that he surrounds himself with people trusts rather than users who will chew one up and spit one out when the world runs dry, and asks Lashley if he thinks MVP and his entourage will hang around when he beats him for the WWE title. Lashley says that will never happen and that he will never lose to someone like Kofi or Woods, whom he says are much below his level, but Kofi reminds Lashley that he had already beaten him once before. Kofi then mentions that Lashley has no opponent for Money In The Bank and challenges him for the WWE Championship. MVP is reluctant, but Lashley accepts, saying that Drew McIntyre helped Kofi Kingston win. Matt Riddle beats Drew McIntyre with a Victory Roll. During the match, Randy Orton shows up to watch the match from the stage.

He then says that a wealthy, powerful man like himself can correct those issues and help him stay here to chase his dream of becoming a success in AEW, but warns him that it will cost him more than a small fee. Matt Hardy states that since Jora Johl is starting from the very bottom, he hopes that Jora is good at sweeping the floor, ironing clothes, shining shoes and taking care of the Hardy Family Office's menial work. Madison Rayne beats Taya Valkyrie. After the match, Madison says it always exciting to come back home to Impact Wrestling, and admits that this has been quite a return as she did not intend to be an in-ring competitor. However, everything happens for a reason, and reasons are meant to be capitalized upon, and in the last couple of weeks, she has been creating career moments by beating some of the toughest women she has ever stepped into an Impact ring with. She then says that management has promised her that if she could defeat Taya, they would give her one more opportunity to make a moment for herself. She says she will take that moment not just for herself, but for her daughter at home as well as the fans who have supported her over the years. At Slammiversary XVI, she will beat Su Yung and become a six-time Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion. Suddenly, Su Yung makes her presence known when the lights go out and a picture of the moon is on the TitanTron, with Su Yung's laughter heard throughout the arena.
At the Latin-American Xchange clubhouse Santana and Ortiz celebrate their tag team title victory with King and Diamante. All of a sudden, Konnan returns, and tells King that they need to talk. Konnan thinks that King may have something to do with the attack on him, and tells him that his ambitions sometimes overrides his intelligence. Konnan says that if he finds out he has something to do with the attack on him, he will find him unless he somehow jumps off the Earth's gravitational axis and leaps into a black hole.
We find out that the mystery attacker is known as Killer Kross (who has also been known as Kevin Kross). Kross says that fear is a funny thing, as it is meant for the art of survival. Somewhere in society, however, fear became something to be embarrassed about, and that there is a difference between being courageous and being intelligent. Kross says he has a body of work to show, and that the big question that everyone is asking was "Why?" He says that the answer is simply "Why not?" and that there is no continuity in the universe; only mayhem. He encourages everyone to exercise a little fear within the circumstance, as he wants to turn the wrestling industry upside down and divebomb it on its head to see where the pieces fall, for he is the new beginning.
