Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 21, 2019

Tessa Blanchard beats Jake Crist. After the match, Sami Callihan shows up with Dave Crist and Madman Fulton, and Blanchard gets out of there as Sami chews Jake out. Tessa dares Sami Callihan to take her on. Eddie Edwards then shows up, and the next match is underway.

Madman Fulton beats Eddie Edwards. During the match, Killer Kross shows up on the video screen. Killer Kross tells Eddie that he has The Sandman held hostage with a bag over his head, and he pours water over The Sandman's covered head in an attempt to get Eddie to come to the rescue. This distraction gives Fulton the win.

Backstage, Alisha Edwards tells Eddie Edwards he is falling for a trap, but Eddie is determined to save The Sandman.

Moose beats Tommy Dreamer after kicking Dreamer's steel chair into his face after using the referee as a human shield. Moose then hits No Jackhammer Needed for the win. After the match, Moose continues to attack Dreamer. He is about to go for a Van Terminator on Moose when Rob Van Dam shows up to run Moose out of the ring.

Backstage, Taya Valkyrie and John E. Bravo come across Rosemary. Taya tells Rosemary to deal with "her goblin friends," and Rosemary reminds her that she used to be a thunder goddess and that now she has to come grovelling to her. Rosemary wants something in return for "exterminating some little flea goblins," and tells her "Our people will call your people" when Taya insists she helps her out.

Backstage, Johnny Impact says only he does his own pose as John E. Bravo bosses Melissa Santos around, and says Michael Elgin made a big mistake by attacking him last week. He says he will get some big payback on Big Mike and it will be him and Rich Swann, and at Slammiversary, he will be leaving as the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship.

Taya Valkyrie retains the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship against Su Yung by disqualification after Havok gets on the apron and hits Taya Valkyrie with a forearm. After the match, Havok, Father James Mitchell and Su Yung surround Taya, and Rosemary shows up before it can worse for Taya. Father James Mitchell tells Rosemary they are not here to incite violence, as this is a time of celebration. He then invites Rosemary, Havok, Su Yung and Rosemary to a Monster's Ball Match at Slammiversary.

Before the next match, Ace Austin thanks the fans for the warm welcome, then calls himself the only person on Impact Wrestling who is undefeated and unlike anything the fans have ever seen. He also states that his name has been synonymous with the future of the X Division, then says he is so much more and that he is transcending the division until all of Impact is "The Ace Division." He says this will start by winning the X Division Championship, and he dares someone to stop him. His challenge is answered by none other than former WWE Superstar TJP.

TJP beats Ace Austin, ending Ace Austin's undefeated streak.

Backstage, Eddie Edwards looks for Killer Kross and The Sandman.

At The Rascalz' (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) treehouse, The Rascalz are disappointed about coming up short against The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) when Konnan shows up. Konnan says that The Rascalz remind him of LAX, but says that The Rascalz lack the respect that LAX has. He tells them to "go out and get that work" if they want their tag team title shot, and that their match will be a "Dallas massacre" instead of a five-star match. Konnan then asks who has "the good stuff."

The Impact Plus Moment of the Week is Pentagon Jr. vs. Sami Callihan in a Mask vs. Hair Match at Slammiversary 2018.

Backstage, Eddie Edwards finds out that the kidnapped man is not really The Sandman, and is nearly attacked by Killer Kross. Alisha Edwards stops Eddie as he beats up Kross, but a bloodied Kross wants more. Alisha cannot believe what is happening, and backs away before Eddie violently stomps at Kross.

We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that Tessa Blanchard wants to be looked at as an equal and that he will give her than chance in a one-on-one match at Slammiversary, assuming she accepts the challenge. He says that he will beat her to a bloody pulp just like Pentagon Jr. and "The Machine" Brian Cage.

Next week: a medical update from "The Machine" Brian Cage!

Rich Swann beats Johnny Impact and Michael Elgin in a Triple Threat Match. After the match, Elgin confronts Swann, but Swann lays him out. Impact gets back up, but Swann drops him, too. John E. Bravo then shows up and attacks Swann with the Ultimate X before Impact chokes Swann with it. Impact and Elgin are about to attack Swann when "The Machine" Brian Cage shows up and makes quick work of Bravo and Impact before having a staredown with Elgin. Elgin tries to fight Cage, but Cage clotheslines him and hits him with a massive powerbomb.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
