Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 28, 2019

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) beat The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake).

Backstage, Taya and Rosemary meet in the boiler room concerning the Monster Ball's Match. Taya wants none of this, but Rosemary warns her there are consequences if she does not hold up her end of the bargain. Meanwhile, Taya and Rosemary have a tag team match against Su Yung and Havok. Rosemary ensures Taya she will make it to Slammiversary, and that the Monster's Ball Match will be fun.

Backstage, Rolando Melendez interviews Dr. Ariel, who says that "The Machine" Brian Cage put his health and the company in jeopardy last week and that he is seeing to it he does not do it this week.

We see footage from House of Hardcore's Farewell To The Fairgrounds where Moose attacks Tommy Dreamer while telling Rob Van Dam that this is all his fault.

Killer Kross vs. Eddie Edwards in a First Blood Match is official for Slammiversary.

Su Yung and Havok vs. Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary ends in a double count-out. After the match, Su Yung gets the Mandible Claw on Taya Valkyrie, but Rosemary hits Su Yung with a spear to save Taya. Havok gets some steel chairs, and Taya grabs one out of Havok's hands before using it against her. As Taya takes the boots to Havok and Su Yung, Rosemary pulls out a red bag full of thumbtacks and dumps them out in one corner of the ring. Taya and Valkyrie get Su Yung up, but Havok saves Su Yung and hits Taya. Su Yung inadvertently hits Havok with a palm strike after Rosemary ducks it, and Father James Mitchell has to separate both of them to reason with them.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Ace Austin, who says he was unprepared for someone who wasn't even in the company until last week, and says TJP got the better of him because he was not ready. TJP shows up and says they can have a rematch where he takes Austin to school again.

The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) talk at the bar to regroup when The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Raj Singh) and Gama Singh show up to make fun of them.

The Impact Plus Moment of the Week is Abyss and Taylor Wilde vs. Raven and Daffney in a Monster's Ball Match at Slammiversary in 2009.

At a church in Boston, Massachusetts, Eddie Edwards prays before confession, where he tells the priest he has lost a lot on the path of doing bad things he is on. He then finds out he is talking to Killer Kross. Kross tells Eddie he is looking for forgiveness in all the wrong places, and asks if Eddie is losing himself or finding himself. Eddie tells Kross that while there are rules in the church, there are none outside and that he will be waiting outside, but Kross says he will make himself comfortable here. Kross is then met by the same priest who talked to Eddie earlier, and says he confesses his sins everyday before asking the man how much time he has.

Backstage, John E. Bravo brags about his time with Johnny Impact with the referees and security, but they make fun of Bravo's closeness to Johnny and laugh at him. John E. Bravo takes offense to this and threatens to do something to Rich Swann. Swann shows up, and so Johnny Impact and Willie Mack, and all four men have to be held back. Rich Swann challenges Bravo and Impact to a tag team match against him and Mack. Bravo accepts on Impact's behalf.

Sami Callihan beats Fallah Bahh. During the match, Madman Fulton gets ejected for getting involved in the match. After the match, Sami Callihan says he is as over as a male performer can be and that he is tired of Knockouts being considered as equals. He threatens to hold the show hostage and sits down. He then calls out Tessa Blanchard, who shows up and jumps over the top rope when Sami opens the ropes up for her. Sami notes that Tessa is wearing heels and says she will do nothing to him because he is a man, and says that if Tessa wants to be seen as an equal, she will get what she wished for before booting her in the face. After saying that this is what happens when a Knockout gets in the ring with him, Tessa gets up and pounds on Sami Callihan. Jake and Dave Crist show up to hold Tessa down, and Sami hits Tessa in the gut with a bat. Sami and The Crist Brothers tease leaving the ring, then Sami hits Tessa with a spike piledriver after Tessa spits in his face.

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) beat Laredo Kid and The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz).

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Madison Rayne says she should be proud of her win against Jordynne Grace, but the finish was clouded in controversy when Kiera Hogan got involved. Kiera Hogan shows up as Madison says Jordynne is deserving of a rematch, saying Jordynne is deserving of nothing and that Madison reminds her of the old her before saying everyone in the division is a bunch of "selfish bitches." Hogan then states that unlike the other women in the division, she is not afraid to admit how selfish she is. Madison Rayne says that Kiera Hogan is right to a point and that the rematch with Jordynne can wait, and if Kiera wants to pull the dark out of her, then they can get in the ring and she can show how ugly she can get.

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) head back to the treehouse after their match. When Trey Miguel says he is a credit to the team for hitting the Meteora from the top rope for two big wins - one of them being the match where they won and then lost the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Championships - the three of them argue over who will team with who before deciding on having a Triple Threat Match where the loser doesn't go to Slammiversary.

Next week: TJP vs. Ace Austin! Kiera Hogan vs. Madison Rayne! Johnny Impact and John E. Bravo vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack!

Backstage, "The Machine" Brian Cage lifts Dr. Ariel out of the way as he heads to the ring.

"The Machine" Brian Cage shows up. Cage tells Michael Elgin is has taken him 14 years to stake his claim as the best in professional wrestling and become Impact World Champion, and says that Elgin took his moment from him and sent him to the hospital. He says he is still standing and that he isn't going anywhere, and that Elgin will learn that he cannot break this machine. He says that Elgin will learn that first-hand at Slammiversary when Dr. Ariel shows up to confront him, and Dr. Ariel is hit with an F5. Afterwards, Elgin shows up and assaults Cage from behind. Elgin hits a powerbomb to the turnbuckle followed by an Elgin Bomb, then stands over him before declaring that the World title is his. As he leaves however, Cage grabs at his pants leg in an attempt to get up. Elgin responds by hitting Cage with another Elgin Bomb, then he pulls a table out from underneath the ring and sets it up outside. He then powerbombs Cage through the table, and proclaims that he will become World champion as referees and officials check on Cage. Elgin walks up to Cage, and when Don Callis threatens to fire him, he punches Callis. Elgin throws Callis into the ring and kicks him in the gut before hitting him with an Elgin Bomb. Suddenly, Brian Cage gets up as he is fitted with a neck break, and Cage and Elgin brawl. The show ends.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
