Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 20, 2020

Hernandez beats Rhino, Alisha, Cousin Jake and Heath in a five-way match to enter the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at Bound For Glory at #20, while Rhino - who is pinned by Hernandez with a schoolkid pin after inadvertently hitting Alisha with a Gore after Hernandez inadvertently dodges it upon getting slapped in the face by Alisha - enters at #1.

We see a video package of what has happened recently between Moose and EC3.

Jimmy Jacobs interviews Moose. Moose walks out of the interview after saying that EC3 will not be happy after he is done with him at Bound For Glory, then three men in EC3 jackets show up, put a bag over Jacobs' head and place him in a black vehicle.

Backstage, John E. Bravo is ticked off that he has nothing for the wedding with only week to go, and Kaleb - Tenille Dashwood's photographer - is revealed as the photographer for the wedding. Taya Valkyrie shows up to an angry John E. Bravo, who walks out of the room ready to give up.

We heat from Deonna Purrazzo, who says that Impact Wrestling has been the place to be for the last nearly twenty years for women's wrestling to be taken seriously, and says that at Bound For Glory, she will rise to the pressure, and that Kylie Rae cannot do the same. She says that it will not take long for her to get Kylie Rae to become unhinged and make rash decisions and mistakes, and that she will not only celebrate a victory, but become delighted that Kylie Rae lost.

Rosemary beats Havok. As per pre-match stipulation, Havok must help Rosemary bring Father James Mitchell back from the dead for her wedding with John E. Bravo. (Had Havok won, Rosemary would have to leave Havok alone, and Father James Mitchell would stay dead.)

We see a vignette chronicling the recent events between The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson).

We see a commercial for Talk 'n Shop: Full Keg, airing tonight at 10 PM Eastern on AXS TV.

We hear from Kylie Rae, who says that while Deonna Purrazzo is a good wrestler, they won't know who the best is until their match. Kylie Rae says she is going to beat Deonna for the Knockouts Championship, despite Deonna's ways to throw her off of her game. Kylie admits that her anger sometimes gets the best of her, and says that she tries to be a good person at the end of the day. She says that Deonna made their match personal when she broke Susie's arm, but it will not be revenge when she beats Deonna for the title.

The men in the EC3 jackets take Jimmy Jacobs out of the van and take him into another building where the bag is removed. He is then met by EC3, who says there is nowhere to go and that it is just the two of them.

After the commercial break, EC3 tells Jimmy Jacobs that they are captives in their own narratives and that right now, Jacobs is in his. EC3 says that narratives change, as his adversary has emerged, and while all of him is wounded, he lives with those wounds everyday. EC3 says he saw the Moose that Moose should always have been and has the potential to be, and saw that potential in Moose's eyes when Moose hit him as hard as he could. He then says Moose's narrative is his to control, not Moose's. He says that Moose must learn what he must become, but he must learn that lesson by his hands in order to destroy his past and burn its legacy to the ground. EC3 says he must beat Moose inside his own narrative in order to fulfill his purpose, and says that the only glory at Bound For Glory is when he burns the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and its legacy into dust. He congratulates Moose on becoming what he must be, then tells Moose he has been warned.

Sami Callihan beats Eddie Edwards after Sami Callihan turns the lights off, which causes Ken Shamrock to appear after the lights come back on. Sami Callihan then pins a distracted Eddie Edwards with a schoolkid pin to win the match. After the match, Shamrock attacks Eddie, then puts Eddie Edwards in an ankle lock in the middle of the ring.

We see a video package chronicling the events leading up to the six-way X Division Championship match at Bound For Glory.

Willie Mack, TJP and Trey Miguel beat Chris Bey, Rohit Raju and Jordynne Grace after Chris Bey and Rohit Raju fight over who gets the pinfall victory, which allows Trey to superkick Bey and pin Raju to get the win.

We see a video package chronicling the recent events between Rich Swann and Eric Young.

Eric Young is interviewed. He says he has tried to give people an easy path and a means to avoid him, but nobody is learning. He says that if anyone wants to break his boundaries, they will have to live with the consequences like he has done through his career. He says that people have learned the hard way and that bodies will continue to pile up if this continues, and says that he is now angry and has a purpose and a target, and knows what has to be done regarding Rich Swann. As Young says that Swann's actions will be his responsibility, he is suddenly attacked by Eric Young, who take their brawl outside of the building until the camera capturing everything is knocked out.

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) vs. The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) ends in a no-contest after both teams brawl in the ring and refuses to listen to the referee. After the match, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton show up to attack The North, then The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) show up to attack Austin and Fulton. The Good Brothers and The Motor City Machine Guns are the only two teams left in the ring, and The Good Brothers attack the Machine Guns in the end to end the show.

Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary beat Havok and Nevaeh. After the match, Taya and Rosemary are attacked from behind by Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, but Havok and Nevaeh chase them out of the ring.

Backstage, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) are talking about something that happened to them in a bar while security listens when The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) show up to complain that The Good Brothers just sit backstage and tell stories. They leave - and laugh - after Chris Sabin says that they could be tag team champions if they wrestled as well as they told stories, then The Good Brothers go back to telling stories.

Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo says that Kylie Rae is "so misguided," and that she will do the same thing to her that she has done to everyone else at Bound For Glory. When she finds out that she will have to defend the Impact Knockouts Championship against Susie at Victory Road this Saturday, she and Kimber Lee get angry and leave.

Jordynne Grace beats Tennille Dashwood with a rear naked choke.

Backstage, Moose finds out that Ethan Carter III has his own locker room. He finds it and finds some guy who he thinks is EC3 only to find out it is someone else. EC3's image shows up when the room grows dark, and says that when you fail, you grow, and when you fail, he sets the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on fire. EC3 says he will light the title on fire next week, and invites Moose to pay his respects.

We see footage of Rich Swann training for his match at Bound For Glory.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne at Victory Road 2012.

Backstage, Rhino meets with Heath concerning the success of #Heath4IMPACT, and Heath says that Impact Wrestling management is wanting to speak to him. As he mentions that Hernandez's money will help him out, Hernandez and Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) attack them and steal the money back.

Backstage, Rhino meets with Scott D'Amore concerning Reno Scum and Hernandez. D'Amore puts Rhino in an unsanctioned match with Heath - assuming Heath signs a waver - in a match against Hernandez and Reno Scum at Victory Road.

The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) beat The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz). After the match, Anderson says he and Gallows are here for "a lot of money," and Gallows tells The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) that they have targets on their backs and that they will put a bullet hole through them and become tag team champions at Bound For Glory.

Backstage, Brian Myers and Tommy Dreamer have a Wild West-style stand-off. Both men brawl, but Tommy Dreamer catches his attempted cheap shot and tells him "Victory Road...I'll be a professional," when Myers tells him to be a professional.

Backstage, Kaleb and Tennille Dashwood are met by Jordynne Grace. Kaleb tells Jordynne that Tennille challenges her to a match at Victory Road, which Jordynne agrees to, much to Tennille's chagrin.

Johnny Swinger beats Fallah Bahh after hitting Fallah Bahh with Crazzy Steve's monkey behind referee Brandon Tolle's back to become John E. Bravo's best man...almost. John E. Bravo chews Brandon Tolle out for letting the match end the way it did and tells him to restart the match, which he does. Fallah Bahh wins soon after the restart of the match and becomes best man after hitting Johnny Swinger with a Banzai Drop.

Backstage, Rohit Raju says the hardest worker in the room and has become the smartest worker in the room and has become a champion and a star. He says everything should revolve around him, but it is about everyone else and the opportunities they can get. He then issues a challenge for the Impact X Division Championship at Bound For Glory, and TJP shows up wanting an opportunity. Rohit says this is not his opportunity nor Chris Bey's or Trey Miguel's, as it is for everyone else.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger confronts John E. Bravo, but Fallah Bahh intervenes. John E. Bravo says he odes not care who is best man and that he reversed the decision because of "piss-poor officiating." When Brandon Tolle shows up, John E. Bravo says Tolle should go.

Eddie Edwards shows up and addresses the backstage attack on him last week, and says he knows it is Eric Young and that he will beat his ass, then calls him out so he can beat him in the ring once and for all. Instead of Eric Young, he gets Sami Callihan. Eddie tells Sami Callihan to get in the ring so he can beat him again, but Callihan says he didn't do it. Eddie says he does not care, but Sami turns the lights out. When they come back on, Eddie is attacked from behind by Ken Shamrock. Shamrock then puts Eddie in the ankle lock as Sami watches.

We hear from Eric Young, who says that he hurt Eddie Edwards badly and that his wife Alisha had to do his dirty work, and now Ken Shamrock has attacked him. He then says he would respect it if he did not show up at Bound For Glory, but he does not beating him up. He then insists that everything that happens from here on it will not be on him, for he will not be held responsible.

Backstage, Susie talks with Kylie Rae, who says that she would not mind facing her best friend for the Knockouts Championship before giving Susie kick pads for her match against Deonna Purrazzo at Victory Road. When Kylie Rae tells Susie her time has come, Susie is reminded of her past as Su Yung.

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) beat Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. After the match, The Good Brothers show up and confront The North in the ring only to be attacked from behind by Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. The North join in attacking The Good Brothers, then The Motor City Machine Guns show up and even the numbers. The show ends with all four teams brawling with each other.

Backstage, John E. Bravo is met by Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, then he drags Fallah Bahh in when he shows up and says that Fallah is the best man, much to the surprise of Kiera and Tasha, who think that Fallah cannot talk only to be proven wrong.

Suddenly, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) show up and try to fill in for Dez and Wentz.

Rich Swann shows up. He says that he should have done this at the office, but the world needs to hear this, and respectively asks Scott D'Amore to come to the ring. D'Amore shows up. Swann talks about how he had to publicly retire from wrestling early a few weeks ago, and as he sat at home and rehabilitated, Eric Young tried to ruin his life. He asks D'Amore to let him get back in the ring to face Eric Young. D'Amore says he has respect for Swann and says he would love to see him face Eric Young, but Swann is not medically cleared and cleared for physical contact. Swann says he will be ready by Bound For Glory, and after beating him once, he wants to beat him again. D'Amore says he loves his fighting spirit and knows he wants to compete, but if he were to put Swann in a match with Eric Young, he might be crippled for life. Swann says he might be right, but asks D'Amore to put himself in his shoes. He says that if he were to have the opportunity at a world championship after everything he went through, he would take it, and says that D'Amore is still in the business to give people like him the chance, as Young tried to not only ruin his career, but his life. Swann says he does not care if he gets crippled; he just wants Eric Young, and if he can't have Eric Young, he might as well be taken to the back of the barn and put down. Before D'Amore can say anything, Eric Young shows up. Eric Young shoves D'Amore, but Swann leaps at Eric Young and pounds on Eric Young, who soon retreats and tells Swann he will not make it to Bound For Glory. D'Amore interrupts and tells Swann to get ready to "take this piece of shit out" at Bound For Glory.

Moose then sees an image of EC3 on the wall, telling him that the longer he waits, the closer he gets to destroying the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and time is running out. Moose then gets on his phone and calls Chris Jericho for a favor. He asks Jericho what he did when he had a championship stolen from him, then realizes what he has to do.

Backstage, Rhino sneaks Heath into the arena through an exit door.

Hernandez switches chairs, and Heath steals Hernandez' money. Rhino then changes his mind on the rematch and leaves, much to the annoyance of Hernandez.

Backstage, Chris Bey finds Rohit Raju and tells him he owes him a rematch. Rohit Raju says he deserves a rematch, but TJP is next in line. TJP shows up, but Rohit tells him that Trey Miguel beat him and is next in line. Trey then shows up. He says that Slammiversary trended worldwide because of them, and they became the talk of the wrestling world. Anderson says they are not only the best tag team in the world, but the best big man and the best wrestler in the world. After Anderson says that they turned the wrestling world upside down, Gallows says there is a reason Impact's Internet shop sold out of Good Brothers were quickly sold out, and after plugging "Talk 'N Shop-A-Mania," he says they don't need a "Too Sweet" these days. The two of them are about to have a beer in the ring when Ace Austin and Madman Fulton show up. Austin says he will forgive The Good Brothers for Saturday, as he knows they want to make a statement with their grand entrance, and gives them a chance to apologize as he and Fulton are "the guys" around here. Austin says the best big man in the business is Madman Fulton, then propose that The Good Brothers share a beer with their apology before knocking the beers out of their hands. Ace Austin then goes for a cheap shot, but The Good Brothers are ready for it and they easily overpower Austin and Fulton.

Page says that the Machine Guns' opinion will be beaten by their fact tonight.

We see a vignette for a masked wrestler in a hoodie.

We see a video package where we hear from the victors of Slammiversary's matches from Saturday.

Kylie Rae shows up and says she looks forward to facing her for the Knockouts Championship after becoming #1 contender in a Knockouts Gauntlet Match. When Deonna offers to shake her hand after saying she looks forward to it, she pulls her hand back and tries to break it. This starts a brawl that is quickly broken up.

Eddie Edwards shows up. Eddie says that being the Impact World Champion feels right, and mentions that his journey for the last few years has brought him back to the title. He says that this journey is over and that it is time for a new journey to begin, then says that stability has been missing for the last few months. Eddie says he plans to be a champion that everyone can be proud of. He says that the only thing harder than becoming champion is staying champion, and says that there have only been a few title defenses this year and the last title defense was five months ago. Eddie says this will change, and that he will defend the title each and every week against anybody deserving of a shot, then says he is proof that anything is possible. He says that he will bring credibility and stability to the title, then Eric Young shows up. Eddie tells Eric that the only thing he deserves is a good old-fashioned ass kicking, but Eric calls Eddie pathetic and says he has no sway or power in the fate of the World Championship going forward, as Impact Wrestling belongs to him. He also tells Eddie that he should be thanking him for targeting Rich Swann and not him, as those who stand in between him and what he deserves will get broken. Eric says that none of Eddie's hard work matters, and that they are talking about the World Championship mattering only because he made it so. Eddie dives into Eric Young and attacks him, and referees have to break up the brawl.

Backstage, Moose says he will not be a fighting champion like Eddie Edwards, as his title is the most prestigious in the world and that one must receive an invitation to a title shot to get one. Backstage, Rosemary and John E. Bravo head to John E.'s place. Rosemary asks John E. Bravo what he could have out of anything in the world, then Taya Valkyrie shows up. Rosemary - knowing that Taya loves a good party - summons some of the Impact Wrestling roster to the house with a snap of their fingers, then Crazzy Steve starts looking around until he finds a camera and says that this is the craziest reality show ever. We then find out that "Wrestle House" starts next week.

Cody insists that everything is fair, and the referee from last week shows up. After the match, The North and their announcer/referee are chased out of the Deaner Compound.

Willie Mack then calls out Ace Austin, telling him to get in the ring. Reno Scum shows up, but Willie Mack is okay with fighting them both at once.

Dezmond says it will be tough to watch due to The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) coming to hang out, while Wentz says he invited TJP and Fallah Bahh. After Trey Miguel mentions that he invited Triple XL (Larry D and Acey Romero), The Deaners show up with some beer, then TJP and Fallah Bahh show up with some food that nobody is interested in. This is before Triple XL show up, who help themselves before sitting next to Trey, who has to make some for them as he leaves. Wentz leaves along with Trey, awkwardly leaving Dezmond alone with everyone else.

Havok beats Madison Rayne.

Backstage, Tessa Blanchard meets with Eddie Edwards, saying she doesn't need his help and that she wants to fight her battle alone. Eddie says he could have left her alone, but he has been in her situation and that sometimes, when someone reaches their hand out, you have to take it. He is offering his hand so that she can be a World and Tag Team Champion, and the choice of whether or not to take it is up to her.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs interviews Ken Shamrock. Shamrock says that the heat from Sami Callihan's fireball penetrated his eyes and did some damage to the retina, and he had to put drops in his eyes with antibiotics in them for weeks to prevent them from being infected. He admits it was scary for a while, and that he was afraid he would not get his sight back for a week. Shamrock says that Callihan has no respect for anyone trying to make a living in the ring, and while he wants to win, he will not do it at the expense of others. He says that Callihan will do that at someone's expense, and that he does not care if his opponent can put food on their table. He says that he is trying to maintain his composure so that his match with Callihan can happen, as there is a "no touch" clause. As the interview is about to wrap up, the broadcast and lights are hacked, and Shamrock leaves the room to go after Callihan.

Backstage, The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) are met by Michael Elgin, and asks one of them to step aside so he can get their hands on Tessa Blanchard and Eddie Edwards. As Alexander gets angry, Page says they will soften Tessa and Eddie up so that Elgin can beat them up. When Elgin asks what happens if The North loses tonight, Page gets angry. Elgin tells The North to channel that anger in the ring.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs interviews Tenille Dashwood, who says that Taya Valkyrie thinks she is bigger than the entire women's division, and that she has "lost the plot" since losing the Knockouts Championship. She also announces that Taya has a one-on-one match with her next week after having a word with Impact management.

Page says he knows they are the best, but cannot fathom why Tessa Blanchard wants to get involved. Moose says he is a walking legend, and challenges him to get in the ring and prove his point. Kid Kash gets in the ring.

Suddenly, Ace Austin interrupts the interview and kicks Jimmy Jacobs out of the room, and tells Swann if he thinks Willie will beat him for the title, he has another thing coming, as Willie held him back and is willing to move on, whereas Swann would be with him in his recovery. Swann says that when the time is right, they will be together again, but for now, Willie Mack is set to take his title. Suddenly, somebody knocks on Swann's door, and Ace Austin tells him to answer after saying he sent Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) over. Swann gets the door, and lets out a yelp before Austin says "Bye bye, Rich."

Backstage, Willie Mack is held back from attacking Ace Austin.

Sami Callihan shows up. Sami says he is not going to do what people expect him to do, and says that after he lost the World Championship to Tessa Blanchard, he set himself aside and got his mind straight. He says he threw a fireball in Ken Shamrock's face due to not only issues with Impact, but with the entire wrestling world, as other companies push everyone down to the bottom when a legend shows up, but he would not allow that in Impact. He says that he has earned his spot, and that Shamrock won't earn a spot without getting through him first, even if he is in the best shape of his life and people are still afraid of him. Sami says that while Shamrock is breaking ankles, he is hitting people in the face with a baseball bat and setting them on fire, making him a more dangerous man than Shamrock. Suddenly, Tommy Dreamer shows up. Dreamer says he does not have to speak for Shamrock, and says his father lost his vision and he knows what it is like for someone olde to lose their income along with their vision. Sami says he knows Dreamer has pull in the industry and can show up in a segment whenever he wants, then tells everyone to get a cellphone picture of Dreamer so he can make himself relevant again. Dreamer says that in his day, the older talent helped out the younger talent, and says that Sami is a little troll and that he will not back down from people like him. Sami hits Dreamer with a microphone, but Dreamer fights back. Dreamer then says that the ring is a perfect place for a fight, and says they can have an Old School Rules match right now.

Sami Callihan beats Tommy Dreamer in an Old School Rules Match. After the match, Sami places a trash can and two steel chairs on top of Dreamer, but before he can hurt Dreamer, Rhino comes after him. oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Madman Fulton) gets in the ring and attacks both Dreamer and Rhino. oVe celebrates as a four-man unit once again, then Sami turns off the arena lights. When they come back on, Sami has disappeared, and oVe is surprised and confused, with Fulton angry and distraught.

We see a video package of Su Yung.

Backstage, Su Yung - now Suzy again - introduces herself to everyone again, but everyone is afraid of her, including The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake). She knows she is Su Yung, but she is Suzy now. The Deaners run away to go to the next match.

Cody Deaner beats Joey Ryan after Cousin Jake pours beer into Ryan's mouth.

We hear from Michael Elgin, who says that he had Eddie Edwards beaten and is now stronger and better than before, and asks if Eddie can say the same. He also admits that while Tessa Blanchard has "bigger balls" than most of the boys in the back and has proven to be undeniable, every path comes to a roadblock, and he breaks through roadblocks. He says that he has been unbreakable as long as Tessa has proved undeniable, and that he will leave Rebellion as World Champion.

She says that she will prove she is the best when she takes on two of the best in the world and retains the World title at Rebellion.

Before the next match, Joey Ryan - now wearing a turtleneck and khaki shorts and calling himself "Joey P. Ryan" - says that he, Katie Forbes and Rob Van Dam has extraordinary gifts: talent, a derriere and a manhood, respectively. He then says that the fans have lost the privilege of their gifts due to their inability to treat them with respect, and that the fans will never see another dick flip again. RVD says that all the fans are hypocrites, and says that their opponents are drinking beer already as he asks what kind of professional will get in the ring with someone who is drunk. Joey P. Suddenly, Eddie Edwards shows up and says he has respect for her, and it is because of that respect for her that he is letting her know that he will be waiting if she retains tonight, for when he beats Michael Elgin and retains the Shoot Your Shot Trophy, he will be calling his shot for the World title at Rebellion. Alexander makes fun of the fans for cheering them for "dressing like morons" and "acting like losers." He mentions what has been going on on social media regarding Moose, then mentions the lack of accomplishments as well as respect that Moose has as well as his talks with Impact management, then says he couldn't find Moose anywhere in the building tonight. After stating that he is here to put Moose in the grave and beat him to a living death, Moose shows up...on the video screen, on location at Shamrock's home gym. He says he is not afraid of Shamrock, and that he is the best wrestler in the world. Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 6, 2019

Havok vs. Su Yung ends in a no-contest after both women spend too much time outside of the ring and Su Yung spits red mist in Havok's face.

We hear from The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander). Page says they are focused on saying farewell to The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) forever and thanking them for putting their careers on the line, as they will put what they love on the line, too. Alexander states that they have put their careers on the line at times, too, and says that after tonight, it will be goodbye forever for LAX. Page says that LAX may have lost the tag team titles four times, but they will only have one reign that lasts forever.

We hear from oVe (Sami Callihan, Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Madman Fulton). Sami Callihan is in a good mood tonight, as they are getting what they need. He states that Impact management will either make "The Machine" Brian Cage relinquish the title or let him kick Cage's ass. In the meantime, Madman Fulton - who is wandering around in the background - will have a little fun.

Naomichi Marufuji is confirmed for Bound For Glory.

Moose beats Fallah Bahh. After the match, Moose puts Fallah Bahh in an ankle lock to send a message to Ken Shamrock.

Backstage, Tessa Blanchard tells Tommy Dreamer that she is sick and tired of dealing with Sami Callihan, and says she wants to deal with him and oVe once for all. When she asks if he is with her, Dreamer says yes.

Backstage, Alisha Edwards talks with Eddie Edwards, who says that he will lighten up on Ace Edwards when a woman in a green dress shows up and tries to hit on Eddie until Alisha stops her. Alisha then slaps Eddie and tells him she hates him. Ace Austin shows up, then Alisha walks away. Austin calls Eddie "a real piece of shit."

TJP beats Golden Magic with the knee bar.

Ace Austin meets the woman in the green dress and is about to pay her off when Alisha Edwards shows up. Austin pretends to talk down to her before running off with Alisha.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is AJ Styles vs. Sting from Bound For Glory 2009.

Backstage, Taya Valkyrie says that everything should be about her tonight, but Tennille Dashwood is here. She then shoots down ideas on what to do from John E. Bravo before leaving.

We hear from Johnny Swinger, who says he is here to chew gum and hop the territories as he works out and talks to some women.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs interviews Tenille Dashwood when Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan show up. Madison Rayne introduces herself, and Kiera tells Tenille not to cut in line. Tenille takes this as a challenge, and this leads to Tenille taking on Kiera - at Madison's slight proposition - next week.

Rob Van Dam beats Madman Fulton by disqualification after Dave Crist pushes RVD off the top rope as he goes for the Five Star Frog Splash. After the match, Fulton goes for a big boot to RVD, but accidentally boots Dave Crist instead. Dave Crist ends up falling victim to the Five Star Frog Splash.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs tries to get a word with "The Machine" Brian Cage, but Melissa Santos shows up instead and says Cage will answer all his questions in the ring.

At the treehouse, Trey Miguel shows up without "the stuff." As Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz choke the life out of him, William Mack and Rich Swann show up and put two and two together. Everyone then gets high. Swann and Mack then mentions The Latin-American Xchange vs. The North for later tonight, then after mentioning their recent tag team wars, the five of them party.

At the Deaner compound, Gama Singh says he has a plan to ensure The Desi Hit Squad never loses again. They then head to the fishing pool, and Rohit Raju ends up falling into the pond.

Jordynne Grace meets with Rosemary in her lair to tell her to stay out of her business. Rosemary says she does not take orders from her - and says that this is not even of her own accord - as she only takes orders from "the shadow." She also says that sometimes it takes time to understand why "the shadow" wants her to do something, and states that she would not be "playing" with Jordynne if it were up to her.

Next week: Ace Austin vs. Eddie Edwards! Kiera Hogan vs. Tenille Dashwood! oVe (Jake Crist and Sami Callihan) vs. Tessa Blanchard and Tommy Dreamer in a Street Fight!

Before the next match, Konnan says tonight is do or die time and that LAX (Santana and Ortiz) will not be leaving Impact, as they represent so much more and done it all. He says they will prove why they are the best of all time one more time tonight.

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) retain the Impact Tag Team Championships against The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz). As per pre-match stipulation, LAX are gone from Impact Wrestling. (In reality, they have signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling.) After the match, Konnan, Santana and Ortiz hug in the center of the ring.

"The Machine" Brian Cage shows up with Melissa Santos. Cage says he has dreamed what it would be like to be a world champion his whole life, and after working hard for 14 years, he finally made it happen. However, he never thought that he would be injured and continuously sidelined, and nobody is more upset than him. So far, he has only defended the title once, and doctors have announced that he will be clear in six weeks - just in time for Bound For Glory. He also says that the only way the Impact World Championship is leaving him is over his dead body, and he plans to beat Sami Callihan and defend the title again. He then says that the best part of his injury was that he got to spend time with the person he loved the most. After laying the World title down, he gets down on one knee and proposes to Melissa Santos. Melissa says yes, and they are officially engaged.
