Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 3, 2026

Myles Borne heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Myles says that the fans know what he has been through and what he fights for, and instead of thanking the fans and his family for support, he thanks his biggest haters for doubting him, including "All Ego" Ethan Page, who did not think he had this in him. He said that instead of teaching him that he lacked a killer instinct, he lit a fire that awakened a demon. He says he is no Boy Scout and no angel and that he will do what it takes to keep the title. Ethan Page shows up and says if it was not for him, Myles Borne would be afraid to rock the boat, then says it is time to repay the favor. He says that anyone can have a good night, and while he had a bad night, he had a thousand good nights since he arrived in NXT. He says that if anyone deserves a rematch, it is the man that has been carrying NXT on his back for the last two years. Myles says he will give him his rematch, and after Ethan wants it for tonight, Myles says he will regret it. Interim General Manager Robert Stone shows up and tells Myles to reconsider, but Ethan Page says Myles wants to be a fighting champion. Stone reconsiders and makes the match happen right now, with both men still in street clothes.

Myles Borne retains the NXT North American Championship against "All Ego" Ethan Page after kicking out from being hit with a shoe by Ethan Page only for Myles Borne to toss his torn shirt to the referee so that he can do the same thing to Ethan.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Zaria, who says that she will soon get her answer as to why she turned on Sol Ruca. Meanwhile, Interim General Manager Robert Stone shows up with security and tells DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) they must deal with Tony D'Angelo inside. D'Angelo shows up as soon as DarkState leaves, and he pulls a crowbar out of the trunk.

Blake Monroe heads to the ring. Blake Monroe says she expected to be enraged and tear Jaida Parker apart for her recent action, but all it did was reassure here, as she realized that Jaida needs her. She says that Jaida confirmed her value, and declares that she is "perfectly poised" and is the conversation. Blake says that people are obsessed about her and talk about her more than Jaida Parker, then says that Jaida Parker cannot step up and that stepping to her is her only option when it comes to mattering, as the women's division revolves around her. She says that Jaida is begging to be in the spotlight, then says that she will share it with her at Vengeance Day before walking into Stand & Deliver. Jaida shows up and says Blake has jokes and says that she should slap the taste out of her mouth, especially when Blake claims to run the division yet has to talk about herself. She chalks it up to insecurity, then says she will give Blake the ass-whupping she is asking for, as Blake needs her so she does not fade into the background she is scared of. Jaida says that Blake does not believe what comes out of her mouth and that when everything is stripped away, Blake is just "a mediocre bitch." This leads to a brawl, and Jaida hits Blake with Hip-Notic quickly.

Backstage, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Saints, Jackson Drake) apologize to "All Ego" Ethan Page. Ricky Saints tells The Vanity Project that they have titles to worry about and that they need to retain. Saints tells Ethan things will be okay after The Vanity Project leaves, and that he will be champion again.

Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight talk about their Speed Championship Tournament match with "Super" Sean Legacy. Legacy says he is not done with Jasper Troy, who shows up wanting his Speed title back. Elio says that the Speed title is more for guys like him and Eli, and Josh Briggs shows up and says Jasper isn't the best big man after losing to the two of them. Jasper challenges the two of them to another Triple Threat Match for the WWE Speed Championship.

Wren Sinclair beats Nikkita Lyons by submission with The Final Wrench (which is Cattle Mutilation) with just four seconds left to advance in the WWE Women's Speed Championship Tournament.

Backstage, Joe Hendry congratulates Myles Borne for knocking "All Ego" Ethan Page off his perch. Both men admit that the other is inspirational, and Myles even messes with Hendry when Hendry says that listening to Ricky Saints would make him wish he was deaf, too.

We hear from Kelani Jordan, who trains for her NXT Underground match with "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, who warns her that Lola Vice is no joke as she proves herself a no-nonsense trainer.

Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame has a conversation in front of a broken dollhouse. Tatum Paxley says The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) gave Izzi the control she wanted, but when she took out Spears and Niko, she beat her. Izzi reminds Tatum of how she beat her to retain the Women's North American Championship and tells her that she is the same woman who talks to dolls because she cannot solve her problems. She also tells Tatum that she is unlovable and pathetic and calls Tatum a shell of her former self without her, then says there is no "new version" of Tatum and that Tatum has not changed. Tatum smiles and says nothing last forever, and Izzi's pain and manipulation is only temporary, and that when she beats her for the Women's North American Champion, she will learn she was never meant to be played with.

Hank Walker, Tank Ledger and Shiloh Hill beat The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Saints, Jackson Drake) in a six-man tag match. During the match, Keanu Carver shows up and tells Booker T to tell "his boys" to keep his name out of their mouths, then walks away. After the match, Blake Monroe shows up and tells Jaida Parker that she got what she wanted and brought the hell out of her, and says that this ends at Vengeance Day in a street fight. Hank, Tank and Shiloh have to help security hold Blake back as well as Jaida Parker, who shows up to confront Blake. Meanwhile, backstage, DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars) find out that Osiris Griffin has been attacked, and Dion Lennox says he will handle Tony D'Angelo himself.

In footage from earlier today, Lola Vice learns from Dr. Martin about her hand injury. He wants Lola out of action for six months to stabilize the fracture in her hand, and if she gets into the NXT Underground match, she may suffer irreversible damage to her hand. Lola says she cannot be out for that long due to the NXT Underground match as well as future opportunities. Dr. Martin asks Lola to meet with him after the match.

Dion Lennox is in the ring. He calls out Tony D'Angelo, who shows up in the crowd and blames Lennox for the destruction of his life last year. He says he has come back a different, more dangerous man and told him what he would do, and says he will kill Lennox's dreams. He says that he will cash in his final promise of destroying DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) by taking Lennox out. Lennox says he is fighting for four on Saturday, and that he will run D'Angelo over on the way to becoming NXT Champion. Lennox says that DarkState's takeover is far from over, and warns D'Angelo to be ready on Saturday because it will be on sight. Security moves in, but Lennox says D'Angelo will get his on Saturday. D'Angelo says he will beat D'Angelo in the parking lot and drag him into the ring to beat him in front of everybody to complete one of his reasons he returned to NXT.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid). Jacy Jayne says she does not want to get caught up in the break-up between Sol Ruca and Zaria. She says that when she beats Zaria tonight, it will be smooth sailing to Stand ∓ Deliver.

Backstage, Myles Borne thanks Tavion Heights and Charlie Dempsey for the time in No Quarter Catch Crew. As Dempsey says he and Tavion are both just spinning their wheels, Lexis King, Uriah Connors, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace wants Dempsey to join them. Tavion Heights is having none of this, but the four of them tell Dempsey that his friends have moved on and that he should, too.

Zaria vs. Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship ends with Sol Ruca showing up, taking out both Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, then hitting a Sol Snatcher on both Zaria and Jacy Jayne. Jacy Jayne retains the NXT Women's Championship. After the match, Sol Ruca raises the title up and tells Zaria that her soul is hers, then blasts Lainey Reid with the title.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Interim General Manager Robert Stone. Stone says he needs to figure some things out, and he will have a decision regarding the NXT Women's Championship at Vengeance Day.

Ricky Saints heads to the ring for "The Absolute Experience." Saints describes himself as "a true thespian" and says that the network loves him before starting his own concert to rival Joe Hendry's. He sings poorly while mocking Joe Hendry, and keeps holding the concert up in order to replace the stool with a chair. He also demands that the microphone be replaced, saying that something is off before telling the fans that they stink. When he asks for a new guitar, Joe Hendry shows up and hits him with a guitar. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Saints, Jackson Drake) rushes in and attacks Hendry, but Myles Borne shows up to make the save. He and Hendry clean house, and Hendry tosses Saints out of the ring and into The Vanity Project and celebrates with Borne to end the show.

Roman calls off Solo, Heyman and Jimmy, who all leave, then lays the WWE and Universal Championships down between himself and Cody and asks "So what do you want to talk about?" Cody starts by talking about Roman, and after mentioning his accolades, says that Roman is a so-called impossible mountain to climb, but that has been kind of his thing as he has gotten further and further in his career, and while Roman is impossible, he is not impossible for him. Roman commends Cody on being a wordsmith, then asks Cody if he has competed in the main event of WrestleMania, much less competed for the WWE or Universal Championships or won them, as he has done all of that and is the most experienced main event of all time. He then says he has been groomed for greatness in WWE not just by his father, but also Cody's, and goes on to mention his friendship with Dusty Rhodes, then says that Dusty never said anything about Cody to him as far as he could recall. Roman then offers to shake Cody's hand. Cody says he is not playing on the same field and that this is not chess, and that Roman merely sent Heyman to him to tell him the truth. He says that if this is the truth, then Roman must have been the son that he always wanted. Cody then says "May the better man win" as he shakes Roman's hand.

She says they have been brainwashed, and that they are questioning everything ever since Eddie Edwards has snapped back into reality. Heath calls this "the most delusional B.S. I've heard all night," but Vincent says he used to work for delusional people and that Heath thinking he will become World champion is not just delusion, but pure insanity. Oliver Carter says it is not over, but Ashton Smith stops him and tells Moustache Mountain that they have been in their situation before and did not win the NXT UK on their first attempt, either, and deserve at least one more chance. Tyler Bate says they have a point and that he is a sucker for second chances, and he and Trent give them one more match for the tag titles.

He says none of these names are better than MJF, and that it is time to beat up The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) at Revolution like they did the Bucks' father. Conrad Thompson asks if Sammy Guevara will be allowed back into The Inner Circle, to which Jericho and MJF tell him that they did not want to hear Sammy's name again before telling him to leave. Brandon Walker of Barstool Sports ask Jericho and MJF why they attacked the Bucks' father, to which MJF tells the fans to stop making the Bucks' father into a martyr before saying they did it out of self-defense and because he got his blood all over his expensive custom suit. He then says that what they did to "Papa Buck" will be nothing compared to what they will do to the Bucks. Ortiz says Bucks made a mistake bringing their father to the show, and tells them to do better, as there is not a line The Inner Circle will not cross. The next question is asked by Eric Bischoff, who asks Jericho if he knows Papa Buck's condition before asking where motivating The Young Bucks to come for vengeance is in his list of stupid ideas. Jericho tells Bischoff to shut up before saying he and MJF do not care for Papa Buck, then The Young Bucks show up. He then tells Sting he is still no icon before slapping him. Sting responds by beating Starks out of his shoes before hitting him with the Stinger Splash and putting him in the Scorpion Deathlock. As The Kingdom leaves, Bandido picks up O'Ryan's baseball bat, and Taven accidentally leaves his facsimile World title in the ring. Mark Haskins hands the fake title to Lethal. Tennille says that as long as Taven's fake World title exists, it is a slap in the face to ROH, and that it is time for the belt to be destroyed. TK O'Ryan's bat is handed to Lethal, who proceeds to beat the fake title with it before Dashwood hands Marseglia's axe - which has also been left in the ring - to Lethal, who proceeds to chop the plates off the title and rip them off.
