He says he will always show up and show out, and that the revolution begins. Before he can sign the contract, "All Ego" Ethan Page shows up and calls him a genius for following the "Ethan Page playbook" to a tee and says there is only one Ethan Page. Ricky says he got Ethan Page in the feelings because he knows the spotlight is not big enough for both of them, and says he is wearing his insecurity as tightly as his jacket. As Starks says he will take NXT to the next level, Ethan says he will not measure up to the bar that he has raised. Starks congratulates Ethan on his win against Je'Von Evans, but warns him that Je'Von has the dog in him and that he will come back around and whip his ass. As Ethan takes this as Starks coming to Je'Von's rescue and boasts that Je'Von could not even walk himself to the arena tonight, Je'Von suddenly shows up and brawls with Ethan in the crowd. Starks goes back to signing the contract when Wes Lee shows up and tells him that there are some rules around here, with rule #1 being that you do not disrespect him. He says signing the contact might be a good idea, but if he does, he will be the one to show him the ropes. All of a sudden, Je'Von Evans shows up and apologizes, but says it does not feel good hearing about other peoples' accomplishment and seeing his cocky ego before saying that this is not who Ethan Page is. Je'Von Evans says he saw the real Ethan at Heatwave when he saw him tell his family that he loved them after he won the title, and says that not everyone can do that. He also says that the joy upon seeing his family as champion was that of a proud father. Je'Von says that Ethan deserves to be in NXT and that the fans know that he deserves to be in NXT, then tells him to drop the "All Ego" act and show off who he really is, as both he and the fans are proud of him. Ethan agrees, saying he should not be worried about losing his title, but taking Je'Von's. Jacy Jayne says that they are the three most powerful women in the ring and have made sure they are sitting and staying at the top. Fallon says to stay at the top, one must hold championship gold, and says people should be talking about her and not the women's Iron Survivor Challenge. Meanwhile, Karmen Petrovic talks with Ashante "Thee" Adonis, saying they made a great team, then Nikkita Lyons shows up she is waiting for that text back, which cause Karmen to walk away while Adonis says he did not text Nikkita.

We hear from "All Ego" Ethan Page, who says that he does not waste opportunity and that he picks his opponents and his spots, and that all he has to do is qualify for the men's Iron Survivor Challenge next week.

Backstage, as Nathan Frazer says that "All Ego" Ethan Page being in the men's Iron Survivor Challenge will prove interesting, Axiom says Ethan will not, because Ethan will be facing him. Nathan likes the idea, but Axiom reminds him that they will have to face off if he wins.

At Chase University, Andre Chase says that tonight is the biggest match of his career and that Chase University is nothing but conventional. He says that while he has been tough on his students and apologizes for absolutely nothing, as he will give Ridge Holland a Chase University-sized ass whupping as he becomes NXT Champion.

Ridge Holland beats Andre Chase to become #1 contender to the NXT Championship. As per pre-match stipulatuion, Chase University (Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, Riley Osborne) is no more. Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 17, 2024

General Manager Ava oversees a contract signing to start tonight's show. She announces that on the St. Louis, Missouri show on October 8th, Sexy Red will appear in NXT again, and that Randy Orton will compete in an NXT ring for the first time ever. As for the Chicago, Illinois show on October 1st, CM Punk will make an announcement, Wes Lee will face Trey Miguel in a street fight, Miz will appear for a special Miz TV, Giulia will face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship, and Trick Williams will face "All Ego" Ethan Page for the NXT Championship. Ava then announces that the contract signing right now is for Trick vs. Ethan. Trick is introduced to the ring first, and Trick says that while he is hurting and in pain, it does not change the fact that Pete Dunne is "still a Butch." He says that he and Dunne went to war and that Ethan Page tried to hold him down, but he was still last man standing, and in two weeks, he will make history by beating Ethan for the NXT Championship. Ethan Page shows up to become an absolute buzzkill as Trick and the crowd chants "Whoop that trick," and Ethan says that while Trick has every right to be confident, he is Trick's Kryptonite. Trick says that ever since Ethan stole the NXT Championship from him, he has been running from him, and that the running will stop on October 1st. Ethan says he won and earned the title, and that he still remembers the shock and surprise on everyone's faces, including Trick's, when he won it, and that Trick will have a look of disappointment when he finds out he does not have him figured out and he puts everything to an end. As Trick says that he will be the victor, Ethan kicks Trick in the gut and puts him through the table with the Ego's Edge, then tells Trick that he will not even make it Chicago.

In backstage footage from last week, Tony D'Angelo confronts Hammerstone for not getting the job done. Hammerstone tells D'Angelo that Oba Femi is a beast, and D'Angelo tells Hammerstone that he will go back to General Manager Ava and get a rematch. Hammerstone says that if D'Angelo is the Don of NXT, then he should take care of Oba himself. D'Angelo says he paid him to do a job, and now he will have to take care of him.

It is announced that Saturday Night's Main Event will air Saturday, December 14th from Long Island, New York on NBC and Peacock.

Backstage, Charlie Dempsey tells Tavion Heights that he has made a name for himself in Japan and tells him to make him proud. Tavion says he has light bulbs going off, and Dempsey tells him and Myles to take the tag team division by storm. Wren butts in, and Dempsey tells Wren to make a name for herself as well. Wren gets fired up.

Hammerstone beats Tony D'Angelo by count-out after D'Angelo walks out on the match. Oba Femi is seen watching the match from ringside.

Zachary Wentz suddenly heads to the ring and says that last week, he and Trey Miguel were supposed to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships, but could not. We see parking lot footage of Trey getting in his car only for Wes Lee to attack him. Wentz says he does not know when Trey will be back in action, then calls Wes Lee "an absolute piece of garbage" for his actions after everything they have been to and that Wes deserves everything that will happen to him in Chicago, Illinois. He says that the pain he will put Wes through in their street fight will be ten times worse than Wes' loss at No Mercy, and that this will end in Chicago.

Backstage, General Manager Ava meets with Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who says that he can get the contract signing done. Robert Stone says he believes in Tyrese, much to Tyrese's surprise, then Tyrese leaves with the contract. Ava is shocked that Stone lied about his friendship with Tyrese.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx). Jacy Jayne says all they do is speak the truth, and says one can either take it like a real woman or cry about it. She also says that Lola Vice thinks she is better than she actually is. Fallon Henley calls Jaida Parker "the next It Girl on NXT," and Jazmyn says that if Jaida wanted to fight them, she would have. Back at the women's locker room, Lola Vice is fired up by The Fatal Influence's comments, then says Jaida Parker does not want her help. Jaida Parker shows up and mentions Lola mentioning her. Lola admits neither woman wants the other's help, then says she will get the job done with The Fatal Influence.

Eddy Thorpe beats Ashante "Thee" Adonis after Adonis blows a kiss to a woman in the crowd that he gave a rose to during his entrance from the top rope.

CM Punk is seen backstage.

At Chase University, Riley Osborne and Thea Hail are disappointed with Ridge Holland's actions towards Chase University, and Thea says that Ridge broke her heart. Riley says that he hates that he and Duke Hudson were right, and says that Ridge showed who he really was when they gave him a chance. He says that next week, he will get Ridge Holland out of their lives once and for all.

CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says he is in a different mood than he was on Raw, then says that he remembers some of the people in the crowd and admits that he tried to hide in order to watch the show from backstage. He says that he appreciates the work that goes into NXT and admits that he will eventually have to butt heads with some of the NXT Superstars in the future, and says that Shawn Michaels called him up because he knew he loved NXT. Punk said he begged to be on the Chicago, Illinois show and that Shawn told him he could do whatever he wanted on the show. All of a sudden, Roxanne Perez suddenly shows up. Roxanne mentions her NXT Women's Championship match with Giulia, then says that Punk is her all-time favorite wrestler and one of the reasons that she got into the business, but admits she always preferred AJ Lee. This leads into an "AJ" chant. She says that she was happy to see him return at Survivor Series, but then says she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan and that CM Punk wants to be in the Chicago show because he wants one more moment of glory before McIntyre ends his career. Roxanne tells him to stay home because she does not need him there, then says that the show will soon become hers because it is all about her. She then says that she does not care about how popular Giulia is in Japan and that it is all about her, then says "Tell me when I'm telling lies," then says that as a wise man one said, she would rather be hated for something she is than loved for something she is not. Punk gives Roxanne credit for maximizing her minutes, as he loves an overconfident champion. He says that the NXT Women's Championship and the chip on her shoulder makes Roxanne not just the best in NXT, but in WWE, and that none of that will matter when Giulia hands her ass to her. After Punk says he did not come here to talk about her or Giulia, the lights go out, and Giulia shows up. She gets in the ring and tells Roxanne that the countdown is on and that she has two weeks left. Roxanne goes for a cheap shot, but Punk stops her, and Giulia wags her finger in Roxanne's face.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Kelani Jordan says that when it comes to The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx), nobody is off-limits, as they will attack anyone they see. She knows she has a target on her back and that she will defend against women who excel in the ring, not in insults. She also considers holding her own open challenge one day like Jordynne Grace, and when she does, she had better see a member of The Fatal Influence step up to the plate. Suddenly, Wren Sinclair suddenly shows up and says that Charlie Dempsey told her to make a name for herself, then slaps Kelani in the face and says she is doing it now. Kelani then chases Wren out of the interview area.

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo meets with the rest of The D'Angelo Family (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Adrianne Rizzo, Luca Crusifino). Tony says nothing is wrong and that he is fine, then says that he is afraid and that he is supposed to be The Don of NXT and lead the family, but Oba Femi is a machine and he cannot beat him.

Je'Von Evans and Cedric Alexander beat No Quarter Catch Crew (Tavion Heights and Myles Borne) after Kelani Jordan chases Wren Sinclair around the ring and to the back. After the match, it is announced that Randy Orton will be Je'Von Evans' opponent on October 8th.

Backstage, Ridge Holland says that he would destroy Chase University (Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, Riley Osborne), and that he will be seeing Riley Osborne next week. Meanwhile, Shawn Spears wishes Brooks Jensen luck, and Jensen asks Shawn if he is with him. Spears says yes.

Brooks Jensen beats Dion Lennox after Jensen mockingly wears Lennox's glasses and Lennox keeps Shawn Spears from putting his hands on his glasses.

We hear from Wes Lee, who brags about his actions on X (formerly Twitter) and says that if Trey Miguel had been at No Mercy, he would have sent him back to TNA. He says he had to do what he had to do and that the street fight with Zachary Wentz will end everything.

On X (formerly Twitter), A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) talk about never having held the NXT Tag Team Championship, and consider challenging Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the titles next week. Frazer and Axiom respond on X, saying they accept. The match is official for October 8th.

Lola Vice beats Jacy Jayne despite Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley's attempted interference in the match. After the match, The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) attack Lola Vice, then Jaida Parker runs into the ring and takes them all out single-handedly, with Jacy Jayne having to be helped out of the ring. Lola confronts Jaida, and referees have to hold them back.

Backstage, Adrianne Rizzo tells Tony D'Angelo that she is also scared. D'Angelo says he has disrespected and failed the family, but Adrianne says that D'Angelo has to carry that fear and that no matter what, he will always have the family. She says she is seeing what this is doing to D'Angelo and knows that he wants another shot at Oba Femi, and D'Angelo says he does. Adrianne Rizzo says that if D'Angelo loses, he will do it through the fear, then tells him that the family believes in him and that he must believe in himself.

Tyrese Haliburton is in the ring to get Trick Williams and "All Ego" Ethan Page to sign the contract for their match, then says he has reinforcements in the front row in the form of his Indiana Pacers teammates. The crowd boos, and Tyrese says he would boo too if he were an Orlando Magic fan. Trick Williams shows up and shows respect to Tyrese, saying that just like how Team USA won gold in Paris, he will win gold in Chicago, Illinois. Trick then calls out Ethan Page, telling him to sign the contract before he signs his forehead with a Gucci loafer. Ethan Page shows up as Trick signs the contract and says this is ridiculous, and says he gave Trick an out but did not take it. Ethan says that if he has to sign the contract, he will do it, then says that when it comes to the NXT Championship, he is the Boston Celtics, and when he beats Trick in Chicago, he will be like the Indiana Pacers and the rest of the NBA when he has to watch him be victorious. Ethan then says he will continue to carry the championship and the brand, then signs the contract. Tyrese declares the championship match official, then says Trick knows what time it is before bringing out CM Punk. Punk gets in the ring and thanks Tyrese, then says Roxanne is soon to be the former NXT Women's Champion and announces that Ethan and Trick's match is so big that it needs something special. The fans chant "Referee," and CM Punk agrees the match needs a special guest referee, which is none other than himself. He says the only rule is that the official will be listened to, and since he is the official, they can start fighting right now. Trick and Ethan immediately brawl with referees and security moving quickly into place while CM Punk leads a "Let them fight!" chant to end the show.

Backstage, Wes Lee is interviewed by Sarah Schreiber on his way into the building. Wes Lee says it is time to take what is his and leaves, then "All Ego" Ethan Page takes over the microphone with his own cube and announces that he is coming to the ring to address the fans. Ethan heads to the ring, then says the fans wanted so badly for Oro Mensah to dethrone him as NXT Champion, but everyone, including Oro, found out that he does what he says he will do and has the skills to back it up and the right to do so. He proclaims that his momentum is rolling on strong and that nobody is taking the NXT Championship from him, as "The Era of Ego" will roll on, as it is not NXT, but "N-X-Me." Suddenly, Joe Hendry shows up. Hendry reminds everyone that he stated that one not need to say his name last week, as he would simply appear, then gives credit where credit is due to Ethan Page for becoming champion only for him to steal his thunder at the end of Heatwave. He then says the fans left The Great American Bash talking about Wes Lee and not Ethan, and says that Ethan's ego says one but that reality says another. Ethan tells Hendry to go back to TNA, as he has no idea why he is still hanging around. Hendry says he is here for the same reason as everyone else - to win the NXT Championship - and Ethan acknowledges that everyone believes in Hendry, but he does not. Instead, he believes that Hendry's song makes him sick to his stomach whenever he hears it and that Hendry is on the fourteenth of his fifteen minutes of fame, and that if Hendry is silly enough to come after him and his title, he will expose him as a flash in the pan. Hendry says he is no overnight success and that he has been grinding for over ten years and has made believers out of many people, and says that he will take the NXT Championship all over the world as he leads the crowd into song. As Ethan leaves, Hendry is attacked from behind by Wes Lee.

Backstage, Wren Sinclair drives Charlie Dempsey crazy as he gets ready for his Heritage Cup Championship match.

The women's division meets with General Manager Ava, Robert Stone and Stevie Turner. There is a tumbler on the table to decide six random competitors who have not yet had a title shot to compete in an elimination Gauntlet Match. Wren Sinclair, Adrianna Rizzo, Sol Ruca are first three chosen, with the next three to be chosen later.

Charlie Dempsey beats Tony D'Angelo two falls to one (2-1) to become the NXT Heritage Cup Champion! Tony D'Angelo scores the first fall with a Fisherman's Buster with 2:04 (two minutes, four seconds) left in Round 2. Charlie Dempsey scores the second fall with a jackknife pin with 1:08 (one minute, eight seconds) left in Round 4, following a Round 3 that almost ends in disqualification when everyone gets in the ring and Wren Sinclair slapping sense into Dempsey. Dempsey scores the third and deciding fall with 0:59 (59 seconds) left after Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo tries to attack Dempsey only to be tossed out of the ring and Wren Sinclair tripping D'Angelo off the top rope as the referee is distracted to allow Dempsey to win the match and the title with a German suplex bridge pin.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan are having a converdsation when they both notice a distraught Tatum Paxley, who says that nobody is her friend as she accuses Lola of having everything handed to her. Wes Lee heads to the ring. Wes says he shocked the world as well as himself, as he thought he would win the NXT tag titles, but Zachary Wentz let him down again. He says this goes back to two years ago when Wentz let him down when he got released (which is not mentioned). He says that everyone felt sorry for Wentz more than they did for him, but he picked himself up and became the greatest NXT North American Champion of all time. He then says that Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz abandoned him and got back together in TNA while he broke his back to become a top star in NXT, and while they aspired to reach greatness together, it was he and he alone who achieved that greatness. Wes says he is done being Wentz's caretaker and worrying about what he will say or do, as he was the one who kept everything together in The Rascalz (Trey, Wentz, Wes Lee), and he is tired of taking care of him. He then says that he cannot ride their coattails anymore, that they only came back because of the NXT-TNA partnership and that he knows he and Wentz will have their match, and that Wentz will realize that everything he said was true. Wes says he will show no mercy when he beats the hell out Wentz, then says Wentz and Trey can go back to TNA to have a meaningful career while he moves on to the NXT Championship. He then says "On behalf of Wes Lee, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors." Suddenly, Pete Dunne shows up. Dunne admits he is impressed, as somebody has finally started to figure out, but tells Wes Lee not to get too carried away, as he beat Trick Williams and he is focused on the NXT Championship. Joe Hendry suddenly shows up from behind Wes Lee and shoves him into Pete Dunne, and security and officials have to stop the brawl between all three men.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Frazer admits they have not been eye-to-eye, but Axiom says last week was a thing of the past. Axiom agrees, and says that they are locked in and that they will defend the tag titles against Chase University (Andre Chase and Ridge Holland).

Riley says that if Chase and Ridge win, they all win. Ridge thanks Chase University for continuing to believe in him and being behind him, and says he will do all in his power to bring home the NXT Tag Team Championships and make it the title reign to end all title reigns.

Oba Femi retains the NXT North American Championship in an open challenge against Otis.

We hear from Brooks Jensen, who says that he hit rock bottom and that he felt that people who were looking out were just nothing but empty words, then says that somebody was really looking out for him and wanted to make sure he was safe. He says this place is cutthroat and that people are turning on each other and out for themselves, then we find out he is talking about Shawn Spears, who says that his words were perfect, and not Josh Briggs.

Backstage, Malik Blade and Edris Enofé cannot believe what they have just seen, and neither can Hank Walker. Tank Ledger shows up, and Hank finds out he and Tank have a match next week with The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson).

She also mentions a #1 contender's match between Joe Hendry, Pete Dunne and Wes Lee for the NXT Championship. Roxanne Perez shows up and brags about winning a similar gauntlet match to launch her career, and says that somebody will try to be the next Roxanne Perez but will be waiting a long time before touching the NXT Women's Championship.

Shawn Michaels announces that NXT is now going on the road for two weeks in a row as part of its debut on The CW, and while NXT has been on fire for the last year, it will be "a whole different animal" with The CW.

Backstage, Ashante "Thee" Adonis says everyone should be shooting their shot with him while everyone is shooting for the NXT Championship as he is surrounded by women. He then finds Dion Lennox reading a book, and challenges him to a match, not realizing "It Ends With This" is the name of the book Lennox is reading.

Chase University (Andre Chase and Ridge Holland) beat Nathan Frazer and Axiom to become the NXT Tag Team Champions! This happens after Andre Chase shoves Frazer off the top turnbuckle to prevent the Phoenix Splash, and after Axiom hits Chase with the Golden Ratio, Ridge clocks Axiom with a lariat and hits him with a DDT to win the match and the titles. Trick says Ashante needs help picking up the ball, then refers to Hit Row. Cedric says Trick is letting emotion cloud his judgment, while Ashante says that Trick is in "a distant third place." THE NXT LVL - NXT LVL UP recap for July 19, 2024

Jakara Jackson beats Kendal Grey.

In footage from the Performance Center from earlier this week, Dion Lennox confronts Uriah Connors over last week's loss. Connors says he was helping Lennox get the win, but Lennox says he wants to win honestly. Adrianna Rizzo beats Lainey Reed.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey. Kendal finds it frustrating to find a win, and that losing is seemingly becoming part of her standard instead of winning. She says the transition from amateur to professional wrestling has been difficult, and Carlee tells her to stop trying to fit in and be who she should be and start bringing back the killer instinct from her college days, when she was undefeated with 61 wins without a loss. THE NXT LVL - NXT LVL UP recap for April 12, 2024

Tavion Heights beats Uriah Connors.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Sarah Schreiber interviews Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey. Carlee says that when Kendal walked into the Performance Center six month ago, she was taken aback by how much she looked like her and how she was also able to manhadle women bigger than her with ease, and that there could be something in them as a tag team with Kendal's amateur wrestling background with the ground and pount and her cheerleading background which is all agility. She then says that even though they look a lot alike, they accentuate their strength in a lot of ways. Kendal says they have the best of both worlds, and while she is down to business, Carlee is more like "What's not to love?" She knows from Carlee's previous match with Blair Davenport that Davenport is cold and calculated, and that Stevie Turner will be the exact same way. Kendal says that while they may have lost to Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) in their last match, they have put NXT on notice, and they are coming back stronger and better than ever as they get their first win against Blair Davenport and Stevie Turner.

Suddenly, Tatum Paxley shows up and challenges Lola, wanting to know if Lola is always ready like she says she is while teasing Lyra's hair, much to Lyra's annoyance.

Backstage, Wes Lee is seen with crutches.

Wes Lee is on a crutch in the middle of the ring. Wes says he was entertaining the thought of beating "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to become North American Champion again, but it will not be happening at Deadline. He says that Dominik cannot handle his heart, which can take on any opponent under any circumstance and the one that people cheered on week after week to inspire him to do things he never thought he could, but his heart and that support cannot help him right now. He says that it will not help with the excruciating pain and that it will take time and surgery for him to come back. Wes admits he does not know when he will return, but when he does, he will further cement his legacy as one of the best to ever do this. He says this is not a goodbye, as he is far from being done, and for now, he will see the fans later. As Wes Lee leaves, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and mocks Wes Lee. Dominik says he does not doubt that Wes Lee needs surgery, as he looks like he could barely stand, then says his back hurts for carrying WWE for the past two years, then says he has the night off. Wes Lee tells Dominik he still has a match at Deadline, and Rey Mysterio says he will be there to make sure the match happens when he is the corner of Dominik's new opponent: Dragon Lee. Dragon Lee heads to the ring, and both he and Dominik brawl until Dominik flees.

In footage from earlier this week, Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) heads to the bar and run into Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Tank hands them three beers before they talk business, saying they want a match with Gallus. Gallus refuses at first, but after Hank and Tank are able to speak with them in a way they can understand, they accept. Wolfgang tells Hank and Tank to learn to walk before they can run with them.

Backstage, Ava - having come out of Shawn Michaels' office - says that Roxanne Perez and Kiana Perez cannot keep their hands off each other, and that they will both settle their differences in a steel cage match on Saturday.

Byron Saxton is in the ring with Fallon Henley, Tiffany Stratton, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend and Blair Davenport. Tiffany says it will all start and stop with her, as she is the favorite going into the women's Iron Survivor Challenge because she is the best and future of the women's division. Kelani says she may be the newest woman coming in, but last time she checked, nobody else in the match was in it last year. She says her gymnastics career has kept her endurance top-notch, and that nobody will be able to keep up with her. Lash says nobody wants to hear Kelani speak, and says she begs to differ about Tiffany's athleticism. She says she knows a few things about multiple pinfalls thanks to Noam Dar, and she will bully everyone into the penalty box. Blair says she is not here to one-up everyone with one-liners and says she does not like anyone in the ring right now, and that she does not care about anyone's opinions and that everyone is afraid of her putting them on the shelf. Fallon says she does not care whose ass she has to kick to win the match, but Tiffany tells her she has no chance of winning while cutting Lash off. After Byron Saxton says everyone told her they would not do this, Fallon says well-behaved women rarely make history before punching Tiffany, starting a brawl.

At Chase University, Andre Chase addresses the student body about what was mentioned in the press conference last week, then says the person who put the university in severe debt is him. Due to the investigation, the university is now under academic probation and that a few sanctions have been placed on the university, and anyone who enrolled after the investigation began will lose out on financial aid. Chase says he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars plus interest, and that he had to take out a loan after spending all his own money on the university and spending university assets afterwards. He says that he cannot pay back the loan and that he will have to do something to pay it back as quickly as possible. After taking ideas from other students, Riley Osborne suddenly speaks up, saying that Chase should look into taking a course on financial risk while also bringing what he learns from it into Chase University. Chase likes the idea, and Thea Hail ends up looking at Riley like she is in love with him, which does not go unnoticed by Jacy Jayne.

Backstage, Trick Williams confronts Carmelo Hayes over the footage from "NXT Anonymous." Carmelo Hayes tells him that they will talk about it after the men's Last Chance match.

In a video from X, Lexis King says that when one is a star, the camera always finds them, and now everyone is talking about Carmelo's match tonight and how he will supposedly interfere in it. He says he would not cost him a shot at the Iron Survivor Challenge, but at the same time, Carmelo knows that he does not miss, either.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Eddy Thorpe, who says that his ribs are not 100%, but he is still going out there, and if he wins tonight, he gets a shot at Dijak for injuring him.

Tyler Bate beats Joe Coffey, Carmelo Hayes and Eddy Thorpe in a men's Last Chance Fatal 4-Way to qualify for the men's Iron Survivor Challenge. During the match, medical staff have to check on Thorpe after Joe Coffey hits Thorpe with a spinebuster on the ring steps. After the match, Tyler Bate says that he is the last to qualify and that a match unlike any other awaits him. He says to hell with peace and tranquility, and that the other competitors have no chance. Suddenly, Dijak shows up and says Tyler is as delusional as Eddy Thorpe before kicking Eddy in the ribs as he is held to the back. He then says that Tyler's heart must be working overtime if he thinks he will win. As Tyler says he has much more than just a chance, Bron Breakker shows up and says neither Dijak or Tyler know what they are in form, and that they should both hope and pray that they are the last entrant in the match or else they are going in the penalty box, which will become the safest place to be. He tells them to stay in the box after he sends them in there, then Josh Briggs shows up and says everyone underestimates him and that he likes it like that, as he has waited for his moment his entire life and he is betting on himself and shocking the world at Deadline. Breakker says Briggs is stupider than he looks before Trick Williams shows up and states that he will whoop everyone in the match. As Dijak says the only trick that Trick should be whooping is Carmelo Hates, Trick punches him in the face, starting a brawl that security and officials quickly gets involved in to break it up.

Backstage, Carmelo Hayes talks with Ava, then Trick Williams confronts Carmelo, wanting to know if Carmelo told Lexis King to take him out. Carmelo denies it and says he will take him out Saturday to prove it, with Ava going to the office to make the match official. Carmelo says he is not sticking to his word and is standing on business, but Trick says that Carmelo is opening the show while he closes it.

Ilja Dragunov and Baron Corbin have a face-to-face meeting in the ring. Dragunov tells Corbin he has turned their championship into more than a battle for the title on his shoulder after he brought his personal life into it, and while Corbin can mock him, he will pay for mocking his sacrifices. Corbin considers Dragunov's sacrifices "excuses," and says he has turned his back on his son, took a plane to America and left, and makes excuses so he can sleep at night, as those excuses are what his father did to him. Dragunov quickly takes off his suit and tie, then says he is trying to contain this, for if he unleashes it now and not on Saturday, then there will be no match on Saturday and he will leave in an ambulance with no opportunity to add his title to his lavish life. He then calls Corbin "a materialistic son-of-a-bitch," but Corbin says this is about vindication. Corbin says this is just another high-profile match for Dragunov to prove to his son why he is here, but he has to win to prove that his work to get where he is was worth it. Dragunov topples the table, but Corbin says he has been through hell and back and has always found a way. He then dares Dragunov to put him through the table in the ring and do it for his family, but he does not. Corbin says he will take away his only reason for being here, but Dragunov grabs Corbin suddenly and tells him that the only one who can destroy the dragon is the dragon himself. Afterwards, Tyler Bate, Trick Williams, Bron Breakker, Dijak and Josh Briggs brawl their way into the ring, and security and officials have to break up the brawl. The brawl ends with Bron Breakker putting Trick Williams through a table.
