He says he does not care what the world says about him, as he will not allow Zilla to come to NXT take what is his. One of the ringside workers tells Montana that Zilla is not here, then all of a sudden, Rey Fenix shows up. Fenix says he is happy to see Montana again, and that he is here to find out who he is defending the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against after the match, and says that if anyone costs him a title shot, he is ready for them, too. Fenix tells Montana "I got you," and Montana talks about their wars in the indies and in Total Nonstop Action, and compliments him for how he represents himself and the culture, then gives him the floor. Montana says the most dangerous place in NXT is the parking lot, and that he will meet Zilla Fatu there.

He says that Zilla made a big mistake and that he is not scared of him or his family before mockingly stating that he is happy Zilla is here because the ankle monitor is off and he can finally roam free. He claims that Zilla cost him #1 contendership for the NXT Championship, then says he is the #1 contender before Tony D'Angelo says that he has beaten all challengers for his title and will continue to do so. Cruz Montana suddenly shows up, and he reminds Grayson that he was on his back looking up at the lights before Zilla jumped him. He then proposes that he and Grayson finish their business, then he and D'Angelo can go toe-to-toe for the NXT Championship. Montana then says that if Zilla wants to get involved, he will beat him, too. General Manager Robert Stone shows up and says that Zilla is yet to be signed to a contract, then makes Grayson Waller vs. Cruz Montana vs. Tony D'Angelo for the NXT Championship at Heatwave. Saquon says that Lennox cannot beat him on his own and needs help to do it, and Lennox says he will prove that he is the leader of DarkState (Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin). Saquon proposes they have a steel cage match, and Lennox proposes they have weapons in the cage.

Jackson Drake beats Shiloh Hill in an NXT North American Championship #1 contender' match despite Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes getting ejected from ringside for attacking Shiloh on the outside. Late in the match, Shiloh fends off Drake on the top rope, but sends Drake tumbling into the referee. Naraku suddenly pops up from underneath the ring and sprays red mist into Shiloh's eyes, and that allows Drake to get the win and the title shot.

Backstage, Zaria meets with General Manager Robert Stone when Kali Armstrong shows up. Kali wants championship gold, and Zaria makes it clear that there will soon be one dominant NXT Women's North American Champion. This soon leads to a verbal confrontation between Kali and Zaria, and Stone makes a match between the two of them where if Kali wins, the Women's North American Championship-Women's Speed Championship unification match becomes a Triple Threat Match.

General Manager Robert Stone is in the ring for Zilla Fatu's contract signing. Stone introduces Zilla to the ring. Tony D'Angelo is seen watching from the balcony before Zilla says this is a big moment to sign with the #1 wrestling company in the world and start in NXT. Zilla admits he never thought he would be here, but he is here now, and he aims to prove that he is not just "another nepo baby" and that he will let his talent speak for itself. He says that he made a lot of people mad last week, then tells everyone to get used to it. Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana show up from different angles, with Grayson being held back by security, and Zilla is ready for them. Stone then announces that Zilla's first match is an NXT Championship match as per his contract. Zilla says that the Triple Threat Match for the NXT Championship is a Fatal 4-Way as security goes from just holding Grayson back to also holding D'Angelo and Montana back.

Kali Armstrong is in the ring to start tonight's show. She says she does not call herself "The Difference Maker" for no reason, and says that last week got to her after she watched Kendal Grey win the NXT Women's Championship. The only thing that went through her head as everyone cheered for Kendal was "There's my target," and says that she has been in the locker room and has heard it all about how some women do not get opportunities while others get them and blow it. Kali then says that once she flipped on Kendal Grey, everyone started talking about her, and that it was a matter of when, and not if, she leads the women's division and gets the NXT Women's Championship, and she has something for Kendal and Nattie. Lola Vice suddenly shows up and tells Lola Vice to slow her roll, and says that Kali did not do something just because she jumped Kendal, which she says makes Kali impatient. Lola also mentions she has yet to get her rematch. Lola says she will also be watching and that she will get her title back, and as Kali states that she will also be watching, Kelani Jordan shows up and says that neither of them are entitled to a championship match. Kelani says she did what one is supposed to do and earned an opportunity, yet nobody is talking about her and everyone is talking about Tatum Paxley, then says the title conversation revolves around her. Jaida says she has beaten Karmen Petrovic, then says that she is close to where she wants to be and that Nattie is only her to make her career relevant again, which has gotten Nattie a shot at the NXT Women's CHampionship. Jaida also says both she and Nattie are trying to level up, and that for her to level up, she has to put Nattie down.

Backstage, Emily Agard interviews Saquon Shugars. Saquon says DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin) played a ruse on him, yet learned something from him, then says he is playing chess while they play Hungry Hungry Hippos and that they get scared when he pulls over. He says that DarkState will learn that he is up next and that they are up never.

Naraku says D'Angelo may have researched his career, but he still has no idea of what he is capable of, including becoming NXT Champion.

Backstage, Tate Wilder and Kam Hendrix argue over whether or not Wilder can beat Naraku next week. Hendrix says he is about 72.8% cleared. Suddenly, Mason Rook shows up and tells Kam Hendrix that he knows Hendrix is saying he put him on the shelf, and says that if she actually did, Hendrix would not be getting back up. Hendrix soon runs out of the room.

Suddenly, Mason Rook shows up and tells Kam Hendrix that he knows Hendrix is saying he put him on the shelf, and says that if she actually did, he would not be getting back up. Hendrix soon runs out of the room.

We hear from Nikki Blackheart, who says that when disaster strikes, it does not discriminate. She says that Tatum Paxley was her first victim last week, and that there is no telling who she will go after next. Nikki says she is here to dominate and that she is a natural disaster with purpose, then we learn her new name: Reina Volcan.

Tavion Heights suddenly shows up in the ring. Tavion says he was not going to come out here, but he was thinking about all he said before The Great American Bash. He says he can be cocky and arrogant as well as a bad brother, but he has the potential to be great and he can admit when he is wrong. He then says that he came to NXT expecting success only to be humbled, and when Myles Borne got the success he expected, that only blinded him. Tavion then shows up wanting to apologize to Myles Borne man-to-man, but The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) shows up. Baylor and Smokes says that Tavion should be apologizing for screwing them over, and Drake says that Myles handed Tavion a shot at his title only for Tavion to fumble the bag, and says that Tavion's biggest victory was a total fluke. He also says that if it weren't for Myles, Tavion would not have beaten him. Tavion tells Drake that if he wants a rematch, they can have it, then he punches Drake in the face only to be overpowered until Myles Borne makes the save. Both Tavion and Myles hug afterwards.

Backstage, Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno are talking when Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux show up. Moreno says Legacy and Van Dux had one match and are one win away from becoming tag team champions, but Noam says he and Moreno do not know each other as much as Legacy and Van Dux know each other, and they have known each other for years. Legacy says it takes time to build chemistry, and Van Dux says they will get there. Legacy and Van Dux then argue over whose name will come first when they become champions.

Niko Vance beats Shiloh Hill after Tristan Angels shows up and takes Shiloh Hill's fake tooth, distracting Shiloh and allowing Niko Vance to win. After the match, Shiloh chases Tristan to the back, and Shawn Spears shows up from behind Niko and blasts him in the back with a metal folding chair.

Zaria heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Zaria says that she spent so long in Sol Ruca's shadow that she forgot what the sun looked like, and after setting the women's division ablaze, she is the new Women's North American Champion. She says that she did this all of her own after being overlooked, underestimated and looked past in favor of Sol Ruca, but now, she holds a title, and the power is in her hands. She calls this a course correction, not a dream come true, that she owes nothing to anybody. Zaria then promises that her name will not be in the shadows ever again before Kelani Jordan shows up and congratulates Zaria. Kelani then gives Zaria some advice: enjoy all of this, as the people who chant that she deserves this will switch it up on her before the week is even over, and no matter what she does, it will never be good enough. She tells Zaria to hold on to the Women's North American Championship as tightly as possible, as she may never hold another title again. As Kelani talks about how she only needs one shot to beat Lola Vice and become NXT Women's Champion, Kendal Grey shows up. Kendal says she has already beaten Kelani and that Kelani will be watching her beat Lola Vice to become NXT Women's Champion, and that if Kelani ends up back in her path, she will beat her again. As Zaria complains about somebody making this about themselves, Lola Vice shows up and tells Zaria to get over Sol Ruca, then says she will beat Kendal Grey again. All four women argue, then General Manager Robert Stone shows up. All four women see themselves in a tag team match against each other coming, which Stone more or less confirms.

Sarah Schreiber reports from the Mr. NXT Pageant. Aaron Rourke, Kit Wilson and comedian Matt Mathews are the three judges. The first category is attire. Rourke says he likes what Shiloh has going on, but he gives the nod to Tristan.

Naraku beats Mason Rook to become #1 contender for the NXT Championship following the distraction by Kam Hendrix.

Tristan Angels butts in to try to better Shiloh on the Rubik's Cube, but he exposes himself when he goes way past time. Angels breaks the cube by throwing it to the ground, then juggles three balls. Shiloh beats him by juggling three balls while riding a unicycle, and wins the talent portion.

Backstage, Blake Howard intevrviews Tony D'Angelo. D'Angelo says that Naraku had an incredible match, but despite his accomplishments, he does not get Naraku. Dion Lennox beats Jasper Troy. During the match, Saquon Shugars appears on the TitanTron, which briefly distracts Lennox. After the match, we see a video from Saquon Shugars that keeps buffering. The public speaking portion of the Mr. NXT Pageant takes place in the ring. Tristan Angels says being the inaugural Mr. NXT is a task fit most for one man, and brags about being Mr. England and representing the country in international pageantry as well as how he was born a humble sheepherder so he can relate to the fans, who he trashes. He also says that he is celebrating his 23rd birthday and has "Mister NXT" tattooed on his leg, and says that the judges should take a long walk off of a short cliff if they even consider voting for "a hillbilly." Shiloh Hill says that he found out that the hardest part of the pageant is figuring out how to represent himself, and says that things change so fast that he is a different person each week. He says that he has yet to find himself, but that is what NXT is all about, and as long as he is willing to roll with the punches, everything will be right, and he embodies that very well, which is why he should be Mr. NXT. Matt Mathews is impressed with Shiloh Hill's ability to be himself, then says that he is glad Tristan Angels got rid of his "ramen noodle" hair before saying he does nothing for him. He picks Shiloh. Kit Wilson calls Shiloh's "raccoon thing" toxic, but also says that while Tristan is also toxic, there is also something about him, and picks Tristan. Aaron Rourke says that while Shiloh Hill embraces who he is, Tristan Angels looks the part, and leaves the final vote up to the fans. The fan vote results are revealed, and Shiloh Hill becomes the first Mr. NXT. Tristan Angels attacks Shiloh Hill with his cane, then hits him with a lungblower. Tristan then grabs a metal folding chair and strikes Shiloh repeatedly with it before driving him head-first into it with his knee.

Tatum says she wants to go back to being the champion she wants to be, and gives Lizzy Rain a title shot before Shiloh Hill shows up with information of Tristan Angels. Mason says he has traveled all across Europe, been to Japan, and went all around the world, and everywhere he goes, he turns heads. He says that even John Cena sees him, and it is not hard to notice "a flying human tank." Mason says he is not satisfied with everyone talking about him in pubs and going viral multiple times, and says that anyone who steps in the ring with him will find out that if they try to stop a human tank, they will get crushed. Tony D'Angelo shows up and says that Mason Rook has gotten his attention, but he will not let him make a name for himself at his expense. Bronco says that his mother taught him that manhood is not about age, but responsibility, and that he has been able to provide for his younger brother JJ. JJ says that OTM, to him, is about overcoming adversity and building character. Bronco says that people can see Lucien's size and violence, but not his mind, and that Lucien is also a talented artist. OTM then make it clear that they want the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Dion Lennox tells The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) that they want the NXT Tag Team Championships, and Saquon Shugars says that Cutler James and Osiris Griffin are about to commit a crime when they beat The Vanity Project for the titles. Ricky Smokes says that beating Hank Walker and Tank Ledger does not make them championship material, and Brad Baylor reminds DarkState that they took the titles from them and are the reason why Lennox and Saquon are at each others' throats. Baylor says they do not give handouts, but Cutler says they never got their rematch, and they are cashing in. He says that General Manager Robert Stone has approved the match for next week, but it will not be him and Osiris in the ring. Cutler says they need to be united, and that this is on Lennox and Saquon. Osiris says that Lennox and Saquon need to figure things out or else DarkState will have to change. The Vanity Project go for a cheap shot, but get taken down.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone speaks briefly with Naraku, then runs into Mason Rook and Kam Hendrix in his office. Kam is not happy with being part of a tag team, but Mason is ready to make some noise. Joe Hendry takes the contract and signs it as Saints and Ethan squabble over it, then admits he cannot wait to see who stabs the other back between them first, as they both cannot stand seeing the other as NXT Champion and their friendship will fall apart. Hendry says Saints and Ethan cannot separate passion from desperation, and while they are desperate to be NXT Champion again, he is passionate about being NXT Champion and being in NXT in Madison Square Garden. He then says he will take that passion and defend this championship, as he will be the one to stand and deliver despite what Saints and Ethan have in store while the fans chant "We Believe." He also says that the NXT Championship should belong to him, then says he will make things right when he takes the title back. Blake also says that the title feels right on her and that she never lost it in the first place, and that she cannot give it back. Tatum says Blake has something she wants, but she has something Blake wants. Tatum says Blake has the opportunity to appear at Stand & Deliver and that Blake crave the sense of belonging, which she says she has had and has caused her to do unbelievable harm while heading to place she never thought existed. Tatum proposes they face each other for the Women's North American Championship, and Blake considers Tatum the perfect co-star for the biggest show before accepting her challenge. Blake then makes it clear that they are polar opposites and that she is a polished woman and the standard of NXT while Tatum looks like one of the fans. Tatum makes it clear that while there is a bad side to Blake, there is a worse side to her, and she can be the goth to Blake's glamor and the fire to Blake's hell. Ethan brags that this makes him "an international icon," then Jasper Troy shows up and says that Ethan was not the only one who dominated in 2025 and proclaims that he will prove to be "the monster of NXT" in 2026. As he declares that the Speed Championship will not be the only title he holds, Josh Briggs shows up and says he is the biggest big man in NXT, not Jasper. Briggs tells Ethan that he is as delusional as the fans and that he should stop wasting his time with losers, then Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace show up. Stacks says that he is the only NXT Superstar holding Total Nonstop Action gold and that he is the International Champion and international as it gets, then says that he and Arianna are as big as it gets before Shiloh Hill shows up. Shiloh shows up and tells Stacks and Arianna that TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella and General Manager Ava have put Stacks in an International Championship match with him. Tavion Heights shows up and says this is his kind of party and says that Jasper Troy will be flying Air Heights next week and that he will become the Speed Champion. Ethan Page has had enough, then tells Tavion Heights that he dropped the ball. He then ducks a punch meant for him, and Tavion hits Jasper, starting a brawl that ends with Shiloh Hill stopping Arianna from slapping her. When that happens, Shiloh's fake upper tooth falls onto Arianna, then Shiloh tosses Stacks out of the ring when Stacks charges at him.

Backstage, Joe Hendry asks OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) to be part of his match, but OTM are not interested until Hendry tells them that if he wins, they will win, as they will get one step closer to the NXT Championship. Meanwhile, Zaria and Sol Ruca run into Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid). Both sides have a brief war of words before Sol Ruca makes it clear she wants the NXT Women's Championship.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page runs into Myles Borne and Tate Wilder and says that Myles Borne is neither a champion or a challenger. Tate tells Myles not to let Ethan bother him after Ethan leaves, but Myles says "Too late."

Oba Femi retains the NXT Championship against Leon Slater. Backstage, General Manager Ava meets with the NXT locker room. As she is about to name the call-ups from Evolve to NXT, it is revealed by Robert Stone that Oba Femi has left the NXT Championship in the ring.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for December 2, 2025

General Manager Ava is in the ring with Kendal Grey, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, Jordynne Grace and Kelani Jordan to start tonight's show. Sol Ruca says that John Cena sees her as a star and that she should see herself as one, and while the last year has had its highs and lows, winning at Deadline and getting a Women's title shot will give some peace back. Jordynne says that the path is not that simple, and that she will become champion after some near-misses. Lola says he has also been grinding, and while she has been screwed several times, she still believes in herself. Kendal says the only champion in the ring is her and that she has built her career on big moments, but Kelani interrupts her to tell her that she is swimming with sharks with blood in the water, which causes her to be heavily booed. Kelani says that she will be walking out as number one contender because everyone else is a stand-in while she is a standout. All of a sudden, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) shows up. Jacy says she cannot wait to see who "the lucky loser" is going to be and that regardless of who wins, they will not take the NXT Women's Championship from her. Jacy then proceeds to mock everyone in the ring. Kelani says she would still be champion if not for "this meathead" Jordynne Grace, and when Jordynne gets in Kelani's face, this starts a brawl, and Sol Ruca, Lola Vice and Kendal Grey come out on top against Fatal Influence.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Thea Hail talks with Joe Hendry regarding the men's Iron Survival Challenge when Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace show up to mock them. When Arianna calls Hendry and Thea a failure of a tag team without even so much as acknowledging that Thea is in the room, Thea challenges Arianna to a match.

In backstage footage from earlier today, OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) is nearly run over by a Tesla being driven by Uriah Connors, with Kale Dixon in the back seat. Andre Chase shows up and is immediately told by OTM that the next time they see Chase University, it is "on sight." Andre has to tell Dixon and Connors what just happened.

Backstage, General Manager Ava meets with Je'Von Evans, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater and Myles Borne when Robert Stone shows up with a box for Ava. Ava announces that whoever gets the pin in their eight-man tag match replaces Dion Lennox in the men's Iron Survivor Challenge; otherwise, Dion Lennox gets to pick which member of DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) is in his slot for the match. Ava then looks in the box and finds what looks like several pieces of black fabric.

Josh Briggs beats Tavion heights.

The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame) heads to the ring. Izzi says everyone loves Tatum Paxley because they are just like her and have no idea what to be alone, and while she gave her everything, she was so pathetic that she eventually had to stop saving her. She says she did not betray Tatum; instead, she corrected the mistake of thinking Tatum could stand beside her. She says that when everyone ignored Tatum, she carved purpose into her; in return, Tatum tripped over the same insecurities she tried to rip out of her. Izzi says that everything The Culling gave Tatum was not enough for her, and that Tatum could never have become NXT Women's Champion on her own, having only done so because she allowed her to. She says that at Gold Rush, she proved that she could take back everything she gave to Tatum, and at Deadline, it will be the two of them one-on-one. Izzi proclaims that she will finish things between them when Tatum shows up on the TitanTron. Tatum says that Izzi took the one thing that was stable in her life, and while Izzi says she did Tatum a favor, Tatum says she fears what she will become without Izzi's hand on her shoulder and that at Deadline, she will make her feel all of her pain.

Backstage, Sol Ruca apologizes to Zaria, but Zaria has none of it, saying that she had to process things after losing to Blake Monroe. Zaria takes offense to Sol Ruca not being there for her at Gold Rush and tells Sol Ruca not to expect her in her corner tonight.

We see the rules for the Iron Survivor Challenge matches.

Kendal Grey, Lola Vice and Sol Ruca beat Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) in a six-woman tag match after Sol Ruca ducks the Rolling Encore and hits the Sol Snatcher for the win. After the match, Zaria shows up and takes out Kendal Grey with a Spear, which causes Sol Ruca and Zaria to argue and Lola Vice to get between them.

In a video from "NXT Anonymous," Je'Von Evans talks with Ricky Saints regarding the men's Iron Survivor Challenge and their matches at Deadline.

Backstage, DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) meet. Dion Lennox hands his half of the NXT Tag Team Championships to Saquon Shugars, saying it would not be fair for him to hold all the gold. As this goes on, Oba Femi shows up and congratulates Dion Lennox on entering the Iron Survivor Challenge, but Lennox reminds Oba Femi that he blew him off and that he hopes to be the one to take Oba's title and knock his teeth down his throat.

OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) beat Chase University (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors).

Backstage, General Manager Ava catches "All Ego" Ethan Page on his way out and reminds him that the North American Championship has not been defended since Halloween Havoc. As for his opponent, it is none other than Mr. Iguana, who scares Ethan out of his car before driving off in it.

We hear from Shiloh Hill again. Shiloh Hill talks about his Thanksgiving as well as a Thanksgiving memory where he was lost in the woods and found out that he was really good at surviving in the middle of nowhere. He also talks about having The Undertaker as a coach in LFG, then says that he will be back soon to finish up before looking for his bleach.

Je'Von Evans, Leon Slater, Myles Borne and Joe Hendry beat DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin). The match ends with Myles Borne making a blind tag as Slater hits Osiris with a Swanton 450 in order to hit Osiris with Borne Again, allowing him to take Dion Lennox's place in the Iron Survivor Challenge, much to Slater and Je'Von's chagrin.

General Manager Ava oversees the contract signing for Oba Femi vs. Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship at Deadline. Oba Femi signs, then tells Saints that the new version of him will destroy him and make him a footnote. Saints says that the fairytale is over and that there is an exception to the rule and the rules before signing. Ava then announces that their match will open Deadline.
