The Vanity Project are focused on winning the NXT North American and Tag Team Championships at Heatwave.

Nattie is in the ring. Nattie sayss he came to NXT to fight Jaida Parker, as she saw something in Jaida was special and something she has not seen in a long time, saying that Jaida is a million bucks and can knock her on her ass. She also says that Jaida has wasted potential, as she has all the tools, and that when Jaida wrestled her, she stepped up. Nattie tells Jaida she gave her her attention, which she calls the most prestigious thing in women's wrestling. Jaida Parker shows up and says the fans feel otherwise about her, then admits that she doubted herself and took some losses and that Nattie is not special. She says she can see through Nattie, as she was on the come-up and Nattie tried to break her. Jaida says Nattie reminded her of who she was, and that she does not want her acceptance or her guidance. After Jaida says that Nattie came to her to become relevant again, Nattie challenges Jaida to a submission match. Jaida accepts the challenge, and says that she will be the one to tap Nattie out.

Keanu Carver beats Kam Hendrix after Mason Rook shows up from out of nowhere and takes out Kam Hendrix on the outside.

On tonight's NXT Spotlight, Kelani Jordan talks about her road to NXT and to where she is now. She says that Oba Femi, Lola Vice and Kendal Grey followed her path, but she did it faster and that she did not need a group to make herself relevant. Kelani says that she will beat Kendal Grey for the NXT Women's Championship on the first shot just like she did the NXT Women's North American Championship and the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts World Championship.

We hear from Zilla Fatu, who says that Heatwave became a whole lot hotter when he went from #1 free again to #1 contender. He mentions the necklace that reminds him of his father Umaga, then says that his last name is a blessing and a curse. He says the fans will remember his first name more than his last, and while he gets excited when he talks, he gets more excited in the ring. Zilla says that he will win the NXT Championship at Heatwave, and that everyone will know why they call him "The Main One."

All of a sudden, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger show up, wanting a shot at the tag titles after Heatwave, but Tavion says they're handling their reign one match at a time.

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair head to the ring for the NXT Heatwave Summit. Kendal says she has heard everything that Kelani Jordan has had to say, and while Kelani is good, she keeps making excuses. Kendal says she has gone from being Evolve Women's Champion from NXT Women's Champion in the last year. Kendal says that Kelani can keep calling herself "the standout," but she is the benchmark, especially when she took risks, defended her titles more often than every 100 days and did not take time off. Kendal says the target is on her back, and Kelani had better not miss. Kelani shows up and says she put that target on Kendal's back and that it will only take her one shot to beat her, because on Sunday, she will take Kendal's title and put her on the bench. Sinclair says they will be in her home state, and that she and Kendal will stay champions. He appreciates them being part of the ten percent he talks about, then says he has taken over NXT and while the women will do well, the world will be talking about him. Tony D'Angelo shows up and says Grayson came back to reinvent himself, but Grayson will do what he always does, which is being a disappointment. Cruz Montana shows up from out of the crowd and says he knew NXT was dysfunctional, but now he believes every word, and he somewhat likes it. He then says the difference between himself and everyone else is that everyone came to talk and he came here to throw hands. He beats up two members of security, and a brawl breaks out. Security quickly moves in to restore order. Zilla Fatu suddenly shows up and takes out multiple people with a dive off the top rope to the outside before taking the NXT Championship and raising it up in the corner while Kendal and Sinclair raise their titles up to end the show.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for July 28, 2026

Grayson Waller makes a surprising return to start tonight's show. He talks about his debut, his match at WrestleMania 40, and says that something changed after that and the last two years became an embarrassment. He says he spent "240 lbs. of idiot" on his back making someone relevant again to the point that people chanted for them, and says that person (who is Austin Theory) is still allergic to the microphone. He then mentions his time in The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) without specifically mentioning them, saying he dressed for a funeral and the only thing dying was his career. He then says "It's a new day" and he is now in the best shape of his life, and says he needs to conquer some demons, one of which is the NXT Championship. He says that without the title, he has been treated like "a Netflix break comedy act" instead of the future of the industry, then addresses Mike Santana - under his new name of Cruz Montana - saying people will stop caring about him in six weeks. Grayson says he is not impressed with Montana, saying that being the best in Total Nonstop Action is like being the best basketball player in the YMCA. He also dares Tony D'Angelo to face him, saying that he has nobody left to face him. When told to wrap the promo up, Grayson Waller says that Shawn Michaels can send of his guys if he has a problem. He says that the NXT roster is soft, complacent and happy to be here, then says the only people ready for the main roster is the women's division. He then says some people put "NXT" in their social media bio just to waste their career in medical and that some of the indie talent are a bunch of charisma vacuums the moment they have a microphone, then says Shawn is smiling because he is telling the truth. Grayson says he is going to take the title, the division and any opportunity anybody else is supposed to have, because he is finally starting to remember who he is. His microphone then gets cut off. Grayson then gets in front of a camera just to say that he just took an opportunity and that everyone's cage is black. The show cuts to black immediately.

Backstage, Myles Borne and Tavion Heights talk about Grayson Waller before focusing on business. Mason Rook shows up and also mentions his irritation with Grayson's promo, then says he wants his hands on Kam Hendrix. Myles Borne tells Mason to stay out of his match, but Mason wants to kick Hendrix's ass.

Lizzy Rain beats Izzi Dame after being distracted by Niko Vance only for Niko to nearly be attacked with a metal folding chair by Shawn Spears.

Backstage, Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno meet Cruz Montana, then Saquon Shugars shows up. Noam Dar apologizes for the loss, but Saquon says they got their licks in, and Romeo says they would do it again. Noam and Romeo leave, and Montana confronts Saquon, who says that he is a different man now and asks him to let hit handle DarkState first before they settle things. Saquon leaves, and Kelani Jordan shows up and tells Montana that NXT is an unsafe working environment. Montana leaves as soon as Kelani turns her back.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone meets with The Vanity Project (Brady Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood), who mention that Myles Borne and Tavion Heights are not on their level and that Jackson Drake will soon be NXT Champion. They leave when Keanu Carver shows up - and after Myka Lockwood gets a good look at Carver - wanting a match with EK Prosper, which he gets. Keanu leaves before Stone gets a call from Grayson Waller, and Stone tells Grayson to return to the building because they are not finished.

We hear from Lola Vice, who says that Kendal Grey has no idea what she is getting into with their NXT Underground match like she does. She says that while Kendal Grey will run the women's division, but not while she is still here. She hopes to expose Kendal Grey and become a two-time NXT Women's Champion.

Backstage, Thea Hail meets with Jaida Parker and talks about last week, and Jaida thanks Thea for having her back when she is not the easiest person in the locker room to deal with. Thea returns the favor, then says that they will have a tag match with Nattie and Karmen Petrovic next week. Jaida Parker looks forward to it, and says that she has Thea's back after being the most trustworthy person in the locker room.

Myles Borne retains the NXT North American Championship against Kam Hendrix after Tavion Heights stops Mason Rook from interfering, allowing Borne to kick out of the Showtime Kick and hit Borne Again to win and retain. After the match, Tavion Heights lets Mason Rook go after Kam Hendrix, and as Rook and Hendrix brawl to the back, Borne and Tavion are attacked by The Vanity Project (Brady Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) only to come out on top.

Backstage, Emily Agard interviews Lizzy Rain, who is eating some KFC Popcorn Chicken, saying that Shiloh Hill turned her on to it and that she could beat Izzi Dame all over again. Lizzy then hopes that Izzi Dame is in the rear view for her upcoming Triple Threat Match. Tristan Angels shows up and shows disappointment in Lizzy, then says that Lizzy will reconsider who her role mdoels are after he batters Shiloh Hill.

Backstage, OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) are met by Angel and Berto, who reminds Bronco Nima that while God forgives, Los Perros del Mal (Angel, Berto, Daga, Bronco Nima, Karmen Petrovic) do not. Bronco leaves, and Lucien Price follows after staring seemingly disapprovingly at Angel and Berto.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone takes a call from Grayson Waller, telling him to return to the building, then is met by Zaria, who wants to know who her next opponent is. Wren Sinclair shows up looking for her next opponent, and this soon leads to Wren Sinclair challenging an entitled Zaria - who believes she should not be in a tournament - in an attempt to be her next opponent. Stone has Wren defend her title against Zaria next week, and if she wins, she gets a future opportunity at the NXT Women's North American Championship. Zaria tells Wren to count her days and leaves.

Birthright (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) beats OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) after Angel and Berto show up, distrating Bronco to the point that he tells them not to get involved while Lucien gets double-teamed and pinned.

In this week's NXT Focus, we hear from Kendal Grey. She says her NXT Underground match next week will be her biggest match to date and that she is training with her father as well as Julius Creed to get ready. She says it is the best against the best with Lola Vice, and she knows she is better.

Backstage, Kali Armstrong says that should be her facing Kendal Grey. Izzi Dame reminds Kali Armstrong to wait her turn, as she just got here. As Kali says she waits for nothing. Kelani Jordan shows up and says that should have also been her. Reina Volcan shows up and says the division does not rebuild; it reloads.

Shiloh Hill beats Tristan Angels after Tristan is caught by the referee using the ropes for leverage.

Mike Santana - now going by the name Cruz Montana - heads to the ring. He declares that he is officially a WWE Superstar, then admits that there were times that he would not see tomorrow, as he came up in some of the toughest neighborhoods in New York City. He says that every day was a fight and a struggle to survive, and while he was no saint and made mistakes he would regret while he fought the man in the mirror, he wanted to be the man his daughter would be proud to call "father." Montana then talks about how he was told he reached his ceiling as a tag team wrestle, he started winning as a solo wrestler and rebuilt his career one step at a time. He says that he appreciates what Total Nonstop Action did for him. He then says that he stands here today as a WWE Superstar, and says that was not given to him. He says he is here not to give a spot, but to take a spot, and he plans to be NXT Champion. Montana then gives props to Grayson Waller's promo at the start of the show, then says that they can fight at any YMCA he wants before Tony D'Angelo shows up. D'Angelo welcomes Montana to NXT, interrupting Montana like Montana did to him last week to introduce himself properly before talking about how so many free agents have showed up and talked about how they will run NXT. D'Angelo says he believes Montana, but tells him the spot of NXT Champion is taken until further notice, but Montana has none of this and tells D'Angelo he will show him how he takes that spot. All of a sudden, Montana is shoved into D'Angelo from behihind, and Grayson escapes from Dead to Rights before avoiding a clothesline from Montana meant for him, causing Montana to hit D'Angelo instead.

The only thing that went through her head as everyone cheered for Kendal was "There's my target," and says that she has been in the locker room and has heard it all about how some women do not get opportunities while others get them and blow it. Kali then says that once she flipped on Kendal Grey, everyone started talking about her, and that it was a matter of when, and not if, she leads the women's division and gets the NXT Women's Championship, and she has something for Kendal and Nattie. Lola Vice suddenly shows up and tells Lola Vice to slow her roll, and says that Kali did not do something just because she jumped Kendal, which she says makes Kali impatient. Lola also mentions she has yet to get her rematch. Lola says she will also be watching and that she will get her title back, and as Kali states that she will also be watching, Kelani Jordan shows up and says that neither of them are entitled to a championship match. Kelani says she did what one is supposed to do and earned an opportunity, yet nobody is talking about her and everyone is talking about Tatum Paxley, then says the title conversation revolves around her. Jaida also says both she and Nattie are trying to level up, and that for her to level up, she has to put Nattie down.

Backstage, Emily Agard interviews Saquon Shugars. Saquon says DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin) played a ruse on him, yet learned something from him, then says he is playing chess while they play Hungry Hungry Hippos and that they get scared when he pulls over. He says that DarkState will learn that he is up next and that they are up never.

Tavion Heights suddenly shows up in the ring. Tavion says he was not going to come out here, but he was thinking about all he said before The Great American Bash. He says he can be cocky and arrogant as well as a bad brother, but he has the potential to be great and he can admit when he is wrong. He then says that he came to NXT expecting success only to be humbled, and when Myles Borne got the success he expected, that only blinded him. Tavion then shows up wanting to apologize to Myles Borne man-to-man, but The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) shows up. Baylor and Smokes says that Tavion should be apologizing for screwing them over, and Drake says that Myles handed Tavion a shot at his title only for Tavion to fumble the bag, and says that Tavion's biggest victory was a total fluke. Emily Agard interviews OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) as they prepare for a cook-out. Lucien Price talks about how Bronco Nima lost his mother at a young age. Bronco says that his mother taught him that manhood is not about age, but responsibility, and that he has been able to provide for his younger brother JJ. JJ says that OTM, to him, is about overcoming adversity and building character. Bronco says that people can see Lucien's size and violence, but not his mind, and that Lucien is also a talented artist. OTM then make it clear that they want the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Jackson Drake beats Noam Dar after Myka Lockwood grabs Noam as he fends off The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake). After the match, the lights go out, and DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) shows up.

Backstage, Myles Borne meets with Tavion Heights. Myles Borne says that he has a tag team match, but it is with Tony D'Angelo, not with Tavion. Tavion thinks that Myles has something against him because he is a champion and sarcastically wishes him luck.

DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) is in the ring. Dion Lennox tells The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) that they want the NXT Tag Team Championships, and Saquon Shugars says that Cutler James and Osiris Griffin are about to commit a crime when they beat The Vanity Project for the titles. Ricky Smokes says that beating Hank Walker and Tank Ledger does not make them championship material, and Brad Baylor reminds DarkState that they took the titles from them and are the reason why Lennox and Saquon are at each others' throats. Baylor says they do not give handouts, but Cutler says they never got their rematch, and they are cashing in. He says that General Manager Robert Stone has approved the match for next week, but it will not be him and Osiris in the ring. Cutler says they need to be united, and that this is on Lennox and Saquon. Osiris says that Lennox and Saquon need to figure things out or else DarkState will have to change. The Vanity Project go for a cheap shot, but get taken down.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone speaks briefly with Naraku, then runs into Mason Rook and Kam Hendrix in his office. Kam is not happy with being part of a tag team, but Mason is ready to make some noise. They leave, then Tate Wilder meets with Robert Stone about a match for next week when Keanu Carver shows up not happy that he had to do an interview. Stone makes a match between Carver and Wilder for next week.

Backstage, Blake Howard interviews Kali Armstrong, who says that she is scoping out the scene in NXT before making her next move. She says she will run through the NXT locker room like she did on Evolve. Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair show up, and Kendal says she will run through almost everybody.

Kelani Jordan beats Kendal Grey. During the match, Lola Vice is watching the match from backstage when she is attacked by Izzi Dame. Their brawl makes its way to the outside, and Kelani slips away from a distracted Kendal at the top rope, takes her down and hits One of a Kind for the win. After the match, Kendal confronts Lola, then Izzi Dame kicks Lola in the back of the head with a big boot before standing over Lola with the NXT Women's Championship to end the show.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for April 28, 2026

In footage from earlier today, General Manager Robert Stone meets with Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom regarding fresh faces from Evolve and LFG to replace some call-ups. Shawn says that Stone can keep putting faces on index cards and making phone calls, or he can "throw a stick of dynamite in the locker room and see who runs out."

Myles Borne retains the NXT North American Championship against Saquon Shugars after Saquon has to stop Dion Lennox from hitting Borne with a chair, causing Borne to shove Saquon into Lennox and the ring steps, allowing Borne to hit Borne Again to win and retain. After the match, Tristan Angels shows up and congratulates Borne on the win, then states that everyone will be seeing more of him on NXT. All of a sudden, Borne is attacked from behind by Kam Hendrix.

Backstage, Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair are talking about the new talents showing up when Kelani Jordan shows up saying she is the one to beat despite being knocked out by Lola Vice. She also warns Sinclair that Kendal will turn on her. Sinclair challenges Kelani to a match, and Kelani accepts, saying she does not want Sinclair's title and just wants to embarrass her.

Tony D'Angelo heads to the ring. D'Angelo says that the more NXT changes, the more it stays the same, and that the only constant is that competitors come and go. He then says that he has become the constant, and that there is no man tough enough to kick him off the mountain. He also says that includes whoever sent him that box last week. D'Angelo says that while all sorts of competitors are coming for him, he is wondering about the box, knowing it is a warning. The lights go out, then all of a sudden, former New Japan Pro Wrestling wrestler EVIL shows up. EVIL heads to the ring, and hands D'Angelo a black fabric with the same kanji that was on the box. EVIL then leaves the ring. As EVIL leaves, D'Angelo is suddenly attacked from behind by Tavion Heights, who says that he is tired of waiting and is taking what he wants. As this goes on, Will Kroos gets in the ring and hits a moonsault on D'Angelo.

Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill dig a grave for Blake Monroe, and hope that her soul finds peace. Tatum then gets worried about having to always be in survival mode as champion, but Shiloh gets it, knowing Tatum is attached to objects and that the Women's United States Championship is a part of her now. Tatum says she will figure things out, then mentions Shiloh's upcoming match with Ricky Saints. Shiloh says he has planned the match out, and Tatum says that Shiloh will kill it in that match. As Shiloh leaves, Tatum lies down next to the grave dug up for Blake Monroe.

Before the next match, Lexis King says that there is no such thing as a slow news day as the fastest man alive. Lexis says he was going to cheer his teammates on, but unfortunately, EK Propser will have to prosper on his own, as Dorian Van Dux has suffered "a little accident." We see footage of Birthright attacking Dorian Van Dux with a metal folding chair while Arianna Grace laughs at the phone. EK Prosper runs into the ring only to get beaten down, but a now-recovered "Super" Sean Legacy rushes into the ring and helps EK Prosper clean house.

EK Prosper and "Super" Sean Legacy beat Birthright (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors). After the match, the rest of Birthright helps Stacks and Uriah jump Prosperr and Legacy. All of a sudden, Tate Wilder, fresh out of Evolve, shows up and helps Prosperr and Legacy clean house.

Backstage, Thea Hail and Jaida Parker are wondering who else will show up when Kali Armstrong, saying Jaida is scared of a little competition before stating that she will be a difference maker. The women's locker room have to keep Kali and Jaida from going at it.

Shawn Michaels announces that NXT premium live events will become exclusive to The CW starting this summer in the United States.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone welcomes Tate Wilder to NXT, then Lola Vice says that if Izzi Dame wants to play games, then she will call her out. Lola Vice then heads to the ring. Lola Vice says that Izzi Dame only thought she had her moment, then says she feels sorry for Izzi because she cannot do anything on her own, and when she does, she is getting knocked out. She calls Izzi out so she can show her what she is about to do her, then reiterates that she will be a fighting champion before Shawn Spears appears on the TitanTron, saying that Lola did not think things through. He tells Lola to stay one step ahead like The Culling (Shawn Spears, Izzi Dame, Niko Vance) if she wants to keep her title, then Izzi Dame and Niko Vance suddenly show up behind Lola. All of a sudden, Mr. Iguana shows up from underneath the ring and helps Lola outsmart Izzi and Niko in a quick brawl.

Backstage, Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars argue over what happened in Saquon's match. Cutler James and Osiris Griffin tell them to shut up and stop dropping the bawl, then Cutler says that he and Osiris will get the tag team titles back.

Lizzy Rain beats Nikkita Lyons in her NXT debut.

Backstage, Myles Borne runs into Tavion Heights. Heights says that he is kicking doors down, and when Borne says that is not him, Heights is surprised, but Borne says he gets it, as it is every man for himself. Heights says Borne can add him as one of those men on the way out, then Borne meets Keanu Carver, who says that the sharks are swimming and that Borne is looking at "the great white."

The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) meets backstage. They know that NXT is changing and that it is time for Jackson Drake to step up, and Jackson Drake celebrates having a new girlfriend before stating that he is on top of the world and can take on anything. Jasper Troy shows up and says that Drake should be concentrating on championship gold instead of dating apps before challenging him to a match next week.

Kelani Jordan beats Wren Sinclair when Sinclair's knee, which Sinclair tweaks on a drop kick to the outside during the match, gives out when Sinclair goes for the Final Wrench.

We hear from Zaria. We see a burnt, flaming surfboard with "Sol Ruca" on it. Zaria says Sol Ruca was a beauty from a distance, but up close, she was drowning her until she opened her eyes and remembered who she was as we see an image of Sol Ruca disintegrate. Zaria says she does not make compromises, and now that Sol Ruca is gone, she will scorch everyone and everything in her way. (The segment comes under fire afterwards for being made with AI.)

Shiloh Hill beats Ricky Saints after Saints brings a metal folding chair into the ring only for Shiloh to knock the chair out of his hands, sends Saints into the chair with a drop toe hold, then hit Whisper of the Beast to get the pin and the win. (With Ricky Saints heading to SmackDown on Friday, this is Saints' last match in NXT before the call-up is official.)

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo meets with Shawn Michaels, saying that the sharks are circling and got one on him tonight, but he loves the chaos. Shawn says D'Angelo is the champion, and now it is time to prove it.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 31, 2026

Mike Santana and OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) beat DarkState (Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) in a six-man tag match.

We see Vic Joseph's backstage interview with Myles Borne from earlier today. Borne says he thanks Charlie Dempsey as well as "All Ego" Ethan Page for making him the champion he is today, and says Ethan gave him the edge that he must keep to stay champion. He says that it will be harder to stay champion than it was to become it, and he plans to walk out as North American Champion after Stand & Deliver. Myles Borne says that he is facing a SmackDown Superstar in Johnny Gargano and that he does not know what to expect from Gargano, but he hopes to get "Johnny Wrestling." Gargano shows up and takes over for Vic Joseph, and tells Borne that he used to be known as "Johnny Takeover," and if he becomes Johnny Takeover, he will eat Borne alive. He says that he will be the man he once was if he wins the North American Championship and that he will not know what he will do if he loses. Gargano claims that the cannot lay down and die, and that he must stand and deliver more than anyone knows.

Backstage, Wren Sinclair gets Kendal Grey hyped up for her match against Lola Vice.

Los Americanos (Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano) beat Birthright (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) in the finals of the NXT Tag Team Championship #1 contenders' tournament to earn a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships after Shiloh Hill chases off the rest of Birthright (Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace) and El Grande Americano II shows up to distract both Birthright and the referee so that Los Americanos can load their masks, allowing Bravo Americano to headbutt Uriah Connors for the win.

Backstage, Dion Lennox is furious that DarkState (Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) is slipping and states that they are the danger of NXT, not the other way around, and that he will make sure of this at Stand & Deliver.

Jaida Parker beats Kelani Jordan.

Backstage, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) meet with Blake Monroe and offer to keep an eye out for Tatum Paxley, but Blake Monroe says she is ready for Tatum and ready for her close-up.

General Manager Robert Stone, Joe Hendry, "All Ego" Ethan Page, Ricky Saints and Tony D'Angelo are all seated at tables in the ring for a contract signing for the NXT Championship Fatal 4-Way Match at Stand & Deliver. Joe Hendry takes the contract and signs it as Saints and Ethan squabble over it, then admits he cannot wait to see who stabs the other back between them first, as they both cannot stand seeing the other as NXT Champion and their friendship will fall apart. Hendry says Saints and Ethan cannot separate passion from desperation, and while they are desperate to be NXT Champion again, he is passionate about being NXT Champion and being in NXT in Madison Square Garden. He then says he will take that passion and defend this championship, as he will be the one to stand and deliver despite what Saints and Ethan have in store while the fans chant "We Believe." Saints tells Hendry to stop overanalyzing their friendship, and while he and Ethan want the same thing, that does not mean they cannot support each other. He also says that the NXT Championship should belong to him, then says he will make things right when he takes the title back. Saints signs the contract and hands it to Ethan, who also agrees that everything will be right in the world as he has been focused on being the greatest North American until Saints reminded him of his true value and that he deserves global recognition. Ethan says he will be the one to be the champion for a second time and signs the contract, then Tony D'Angelo yells at Ethan and Saints to shut up and mentions Saints and Ethan's histories with the title, and says NXT is in his blood, unlike Hendry's. D'Angelo says he will run everyone over like a freight train at Stand & Deliver, then signs the contract before telling Robert Stone to get out of the ring for the inevitable brawl. Stone gets out of dodge and calls for security. D'Angelo and Ethan put Saints and Hendry through the two tables, and security has to break up what is left.

Keanu Carver beats Jasper Troy in a match with Josh Briggs as special guest referee after Briggs boots Jasper Troy for shoving him. After the match, Carver demands that Briggs raise his hand in victory. Briggs does just that, then plows through him with a lariat.

Backstage, Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Eli Knight, Elio LaFleur and "Super" Sean Legacy chat backstage. LaFleur says that he will be out for six months and will have to relinquish the WWE Speed Championship. Wren Sinclair shows up and says sorry to LaFleur, then Shiloh Hill shows up and laughs about what he did to Birthright (Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace). Hank says this is not the time as they are not on Stand & Deliver and are on the outside looking in, then Shiloh says he is not on the show either, yet he has an idea.

Tatum Paxley heads to the ring. Paxley talks about how she grabbed Blake Monroe by her hair and realized that Blake is "a very complex woman," which excites her. She then calls out Blake Monroe to return the Women's North American Champonship, but Blake says she has no issue with Tatum when she shows up. Blake also says that the title feels right on her and that she never lost it in the first place, and that she cannot give it back. Tatum says Blake has something she wants, but she has something Blake wants. Tatum says Blake has the opportunity to appear at Stand & Deliver and that Blake crave the sense of belonging, which she says she has had and has caused her to do unbelievable harm while heading to place she never thought existed. Tatum proposes they face each other for the Women's North American Championship, and Blake considers Tatum the perfect co-star for the biggest show before accepting her challenge. Blake then makes it clear that they are polar opposites and that she is a polished woman and the standard of NXT while Tatum looks like one of the fans. Tatum makes it clear that while there is a bad side to Blake, there is a worse side to her, and she can be the goth to Blake's glamor and the fire to Blake's hell. This leads to both women playing tug-of-war with the Women's North American Championship, and while Tatum gets the better of Blake, Blake steals the title back.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews General Manager Robert Stone, who says that Stand & Deliver is stacked and that on the countdown, there will be a ten-person mixed tag match between Birthright (Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace) and the team of Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Wren Sinclair, Shiloh Hill and Eli Knight. Keanu Carver then shows up wanting a match with Josh Briggs, and gets a triple threat match with Briggs and Jasper Troy next week. All of a sudden, Kelani Jordan is attacking Jaida Parker with a garbage can.

This week's NXT Focus is a video package chronicling the rise and fall of the team of Sol Ruca and Zaria.

Backstage, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) have been watching NXT Focus, and Jacy Jayne says she is glad they do not have a friendship problem while Lainey Reid says that all there is left to do is to see who Jacy's next opponent is. Izzi Dame shows up from behind them and says there is a reason that everyone wants the NXT Women's Championship, then says she makes it crystal clear what she wants.

Kendal Grey beats Lola Vice in an NXT Women's Championship #1 contender's match after countering a guillotine choke with a Northern Lights Suplex...almost. Before Kendal Grey can be declared the winner, another referee shows up and says that Kendal Grey tapped out to the choke, which was still applied, just before the count reached three. The pinfall is replayed, and Kendal Grey is seen tapping out to a still-applied guillotine choke despite the Northern Lights Suplex. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) is watching from the bottom of the ramp as Shawn Michaels suddenly shows up and gets to the bottom of everything in the ring as the show ends.

Ricky Saints heads to the ring. Saints says that nothing can dampen his spirits because he is the real main event and things are looking up, and after a small setback, he and "All Ego" Ethan Page are pivoting back into title competition. He says that he and Ethan beat Myles Borne and Joe Hendry because they are a great tag team, then says that if it were not for The Vanity Project, they would be in the tag team tournament; thankfully, they only want singles gold and the tag division is safe. Saints claims that he will soon take his place as a two-time NXT Champion when "All Ego" Ethan Page shows up and reminds Saints that he pinned Joe Hendry. Saints lets Ethan call out Borne, but Ethan wants to be a two-time NXT Champion, not North American. As Saints says this was not part of the plan, Joe Hendry shows up, and while he gives Ethan credit where credit is due, he says that Saints does not want it as badly as Ethan. We see a video package where Booker T's peers as well as current and former NXT Superstars mention their memories of Booker T before Booker T is presented with a plaque commemorating Booker T Appreciation Night. Booker T says he has been doing this for 35 years and that it has been an amazing ride. He thanks the fans for making this possible, then Keanu Carver shows up, attacks security guards, and threatens to beat Booker T up if he does not leave the ring. Two of Booker T's students are in the ring, and Carver makes quick work of them before Jasper Troy shows up and fights Carver. Jasper clotheslines Carver out of the ring, adn Carver is forced back to the back. The locker room empties out and gives Booker T a standing ovation, and Booker T wants to know what is going on, saying this should not be happening in his city.
