Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 23, 2026

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo finds out that tonight will be a double contract signing from General Manager Robert Stone, who ensures that everything will go smoothly. Aaron Rourke shows up, and Tony D'Angelo wishes him luck. Rourke returns the favor, then Stone tells D'Angelo not to mess around.

Aaron Rourke retains the Evolve Championship against Tristan Angels. During the match, the lights in the arena glow red, and Shiloh Hill's laughter can be heard, which unnerves Angels.

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo meets with Naraku with General Manager Robert Stone alongside him. Naraku hands D'Angelo a signed contract, and as Robert Stone gets between them as things get worse, D'Angelo opens the contract only to get blinded with a fireball.

After the commercial break, an ambulance takes Tony D'Angelo to the hospital.

Saquon Shugars and Dion Lennox meet face-to-face in the ring. Saquon talks about how DarkState (Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin) betrayed him and how he got the one-on-one match with Lennox that he wanted, and that he had to take out Osiris Griffin and Cutler James to ensure he had only Lennox to deal with at The Great American Bash. He also says that Saquon was taken out when Lennox acted like the leader when DarkState did not have one, then says he is a wrestler while Lennox is another pretender trying to take his spot. Lennox says he was put in high-profile positions because he got lucky and that Saquon was never supposed to be part of DarkState, but Saquon says there is no DarkState without him. He says that he loved DarkState and was the glue holding it together, and they knew that. He says that Lennox cannot wear his jockstrap and is not on his level, but Lennox laughs it off and says that everything about Saquon is a facade and that DarkState knows the real Saquon and only showed what they wanted to show about him. Lennox says that Saquon had to be babysat and had to be reassured when he second-guessed himself, and now that he is out, he hopes to set the world on fire. He says nothing will change and that Saquon is still his own worst enemy, and when he hesitates in their match, he will expose him. Lennox says that Saquon has signed his death warrant, and on Sunday, he stamps it.

Backstage, comedian Mat Mathews meets with Hank Walker and Tank Ledger before their match. In the background, General Manager Robert Stone is talking with The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood).

In this week's NXT Spotlight, we see the events leading up to the feud between Myles Borne and Tavion Heights.

Backstage, Tavion Heights is frustrated with all of his former friends having championships. He leaves, then Kendal Grey meets with Wren Sinclair over Izzi Dame and Arianna Grace.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beat Birthright (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) after comedian Matt Matthews ducks a punch from Charlie Dempsey, causing Dempsey to punch Lexis King out as Lexis King is holding Matthews down. Matthews then trips Dempsey, causing Dempsey to fall head-first into Lexis King's crotch.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Shiloh Hill. Shiloh says that he found the Mr. NXT Pageant harder than any match he has ever had due to the amount of opening up about himself that he had to do, and now that he is cleared, things are about to get a lot worse for Tristan Angels when he makes him pay for what he did at The Great American Bash.

We see some brief footage of Tony D'Angelo at the hospital.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone oversees the contract signing for the NXT Women's Championship match at The Great American Bash. Lola Vice and Kendal Grey agree that they are the two biggest crossover athletes in NXT today, then Lola says she has Kendal figured out and she will prove why she is number one while Kendal is number two. Kendal says she needs to lead the women's division and elevate the Women's Championship to new heights, then signs the contract. Lola says that she has done the changing of the guard and that she paved the way for her, and while Kendal will have her moment, it will not be on Sunday and not at her expense. Lola then signs the contract.

EK Prosper beats Keanu Carver with a Sunset Flip and gets an upset win. After the match, Carver attacks Prosper from behind and continues to beat him up. Carver then powerbombs Prosper straight through the announce table.

We hear from Zaria, who says that she and Tatum Paxley stood under others' shadows and watched them fight over the North American Women's Championship a year ago, and now, they have become the champion themselves. She then says that Tatum cannot let things go and embarrassed her in her first match as champion and that Tatum is addicted to pain, then gives Tatum her championship rematch at The Great American Bash so she can beat Tatum again and Tatum can revel in her pain forever.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone tells Naraku that he should suspend him, but Naraku says he cannot do that due to not having a championship match. Keanu Carver shows up as Naraku leaves, and Carver says he will go through everyone until he gets his championship match.

Arianna Grace beats Izzi Dame in a WWE Women's Speed Championship #1 contender's match after Shawn Spears insists on Izzi high-fiving him, allowing Arianna to win with an inside cradle.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews General Manager Robert Stone. Stone says that there will be some AAA luchadors at The Great American Bash following a phone conversation with AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio, then says that he will have to find a new opponent for Naraku on Sunday. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) show up, and Jackson Drake wants in on the NXT Championship match. Stone immediately wants The Vanity Project out of his office.

Alexa Bliss talks about her time in NXT in this week's NXT Origins.

Backstage, Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons are watching Nattie being awarded a Guiness World Record when Jaida Parker shows up and hears the two of them talking about her before they leave. OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) shows up, but Jaida is not in the mood to talk. Lucien Price mentions Bronco Nima being on AAA, and Nima says he is just doing what he has to do.

Dorian Van Dux and "Super" Sean Legacy beat The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance). After the match, Niko Vance turns on Shawn Spears, throwing him out of the ring and choke slamming him through the announce table.

General Manager Robert Stone is in the ring. He says that the NXT Championship match will happen, then calls out Naraku, who heads to the ring. Naraku says he will take the title if he has nobody to challenge him, but all of a sudden, Mason Rook shows up and says that this is NXT, then says that if Tony D'Angelo cannot fight him, he will. As Mason says he wants to run this back with gold on the line, The Vanity Project shows up, and Jackson Drake accuses Robert Stone of ducking them as he says that Mason is undeserving of a title shot and that he is main event caliber. Mason Rook lays out The Vanity Project in seconds and goes after Jackson Drake, then Naraku demands Robert Stone give him the NXT Championship. All of a sudden, Tony D'Angelo shows up with bandages on his face and fights Naraku. Naraku gets his fingers on D'Angelo's right eye and gets away, but Tony D'Angelo is already ticked off as the show ends.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 23, 2025

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman head to the ring to start tonight's show. It is announced that LA Knight will be out indefinitely due to a bruised sternum thanks to Bronson Reed. Rollins says that the fans of Columbus, Ohio are giving him mixed signals, and asks them what they want, as one minute they chant for CM Punk, the next they chant for Roman Reigns, then Bron Breakker, then him. Rollins says the fans do not know what they want, and as a result, he does not care what they want, and that they need people like him to tell them what is good for them as they do not know. He says that some of the things that the fans think they want are because of him, such as Roman Reigns (who does not exist without him), CM Punk (mostly so WWE can cash in on how much he hates him), "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes (who would have no second coming unless he put him on the map), and the World Heavyweight Championship (which he held first). Rollins says he is the prime mover as well as the past, present and future. He says that his revolution will have opposition, and that he will deal with it diplomatically until his hand is forced, which is what happened with LA Knight. He says Knight stuck his nose in their business and got multiple Tsunamis for his troubles, and in a few minutes' time, Bron Breakker has an opportunity to do the same to Penta, who he considers a thorn in their side. Rollins says there are a lot of people who think they have what it takes to exist at the top, yet they fail to understand that they are running a race for second place, as he will always be the finish line and endgame.

Bron Breakker beats Penta after Spearing him out of the air. After the match, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins gives Penta his one warning to stay out of his way.

Next week's show has a special start time of 6 PM Eastern/3 PM Pacific.

General Manager Adam Pearce is met by "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who is told that "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is injured and that when he is back, Styles' match against Dominik is assured. Styles leaves, then Grayson Waller and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) meet with Pearce. The New Day find out they have a tag team title match against The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh), much to Grayson's chagrin.

We see Michael Cole's interview with Goldberg from earlier today. Goldberg says he was not going to let what Gunther did slide, stating that the lack of respect he saw from him was "pretty unbelievable" and that Gunther embarrassed him in front of his fans and family. He finds it "quite serendipitous" that Gunther stepped up for his retirement match and says that as long as he is breathing and able to step into the ring, he will "beat the fuck out of Gunther" at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) meets. Finn Balor says Liv Morgan would not want them to be sulking, and peps everyone up for their upcoming matches, even saying something under his breath to get Raquel Rodriguez fired up against Rhea Ripley.

Backstage, Lyra Valkyria wishes Bayley luck tonight and apologizes for last week's behavior. Bayley also apologizes, and tells Lyra that she will be the first defense if she wins.

Jade Cargill beats Roxanne Perez to advance to the finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament after countering Pop Rox to hit Jaded. After the match, Asuka shows up, and she and Jade Cargill have a staredown on the stage.

Backstage, Sheamus tells Natalya and Maxxine Dupri they have a good shot at being Women's Tag Team Champions, then says he got to put Rusev in his place for a little bit. Rusev shows up and says Sheamus still pretends to be everyone's friend, but Sheamus says he follows the beat of his own drum. Rusev says he does his own damage in the ring while Sheamus does his backstage, but Sheamus remembers him as the most embarrassing member of The League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev, Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio). This leads to Sheamus telling Rusev to put up or shut up, and Rusev smiles and walks away.

Gunther heads to the ring. He says last week was supposed to be his celebration of reclaiming what is rightfully his, but Goldberg showed up and declared that he is next. He says he has given thought to "being next," then says it is 2025, not 1999, and he is the best professional wrestler in WWE and the World Heavyweight Championship proves it. He says that there is nothing Goldberg can say that can change his perception of him - a 58-year-old man who cannot lace his boots - then apologizes to Goldberg's family for what he will do to him. Gunther says he has embarrassed Goldberg once and can do it again, and that he will make sure the myth of Goldberg dies.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Becky Lynch, who says that Bayley and Lyra Valkyria are conspiring to work together, which gives her an idea and causes her to leave. Jackie Redmond then notices Sami Zayn and gets an interview with him, but Karrion Kross and Scarlett show up. Karrion Kross tells Sami Zayn "I told you so" and that he will never be World Heavyweight Champion. Sami punches Kross in the face, then says he is done talking to him and that their match is official. Sami leaves, then Kross and Scarlett laugh, with Kross saying "Got 'im."

Becky Lynch retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Bayley by disqualification after Lyra Valkyria, who shows up to make the save Bayley from being buried in metal folding chairs earlier in the match , attacks Becky as Bayley goes for a top rope elbow.

Backstage, Chad Gable talks with Ivy Nile, telling her to wipe out her opponents completely regardless of the cost. Gable then notices Penta, who is in no mood for Gable bragging about what Bron Breakker did to him and breaks his arm with the Sacrifice.

Raquel Rodriguez is in the ring. She says Rhea Ripley will not get away with costing her Queen of the Ring and demands Rhea get in the ring and get the beating she deserves. Rhea Ripley shows up and gets the upper hand on Raquel at first, but Raquel clotheslines her into the timekeeper's area before pulling a table out from underneath the ring. Rhea is back on her feet, and she takes out Raquel before taking her out, setting up the table and getting ready to hit her with a Riptide through the table. Roxanne jumps onto Rhea, and while Rhea throws Roxanne off of her, Raquel puts Rhea through the table with a Tejana Bomb.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by Rhea Ripley, who wants a match with Raquel Rodriguez and gets it in the form of a Street Fight.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats "Main Event" Jey Uso to advance to the finals of the King of the Ring Tournament after countering the Uso Splash with a Super Cody Cutter followed by the Cross Rhodes for the win. After the match, Cody and Jey hug in a sign of post-match respect before Jey raises Cody's hand.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for June 23, 2024

Before the next match, Howdy Price says he and Levi Shapiro have officially arrived and that they can see why they waited: it smells bad here due to the manure used for Georgia's peaches. He says that he has brought something more exciting that than the new tree that has sprouted out around here, and that they will lay down an open challenge to anyone in the locker room with one year of experience. Suddenly, Jonah Turk shows up to accept the challenge.

Levi Shapiro quickly retains the United Television Championship against Jonah Turk with the claw from the top rope.

Backstage, Dustin Starr interviews Manny Lemons, who reminds the people who he is after saying that he has not lost his zest.

Baron Black beats Manny Lemons with a Texas Cloverleaf. After the match, Baron Black calls out Lord Crewe, saying he just woken one of the biggest technical giants, that it is "on sight," and that his ass is grass the next time he sees him.

Backstage, we hear from Effy, who says that he tends to make Championship Wrestling From Atlanta his personal buffet table and take it over, and that he will be eating those oysters, collecting those pearls, and that Atlanta will soon be his home.

Heather Monroe beats Reka Tehaka. During the match, Heather grabs the timekeeper's chair. When the referee takes it away, Heather hits Reka with her fan, then hits a backpack stunner for the win. Reka Tehaka tries to kick out, but she kicks out too late.

Backstage, Marti Belle interviews Lord Krewe. Krewe says his recent actions spoke louder than his words, then says "Any other questions?"

The Tate Twins (Brandon and Brent Tate) beat inFAMy (Robin Steele and Joeasa). After the match, inFAMy hit The Tate Twins with a low blow as The Rapture watch from ringside and enjoy what they see.

Backstage, Marti Belle interviews "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. Zicky says that what others call "chaos," he calls "outlandish." Suddenly, Dani Jordyn shows up and tells Zicky Dice there's something he'll want to see backstage, then tells Marti Belle she "smells like a baby prostitute."

Effy beats "Uptown" Andy Brown after reversing the Fatality into a jackknife pin.

They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for June 23, 2023

United Empire (Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, Jeff Cobb) and Swerve Strickland beat CHAOS (Rocky "Azucar" Romero, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, YOH) in an eight-man tag match.

Adam Cole heads to the ring, followed by MJF, who makes his first appearance on Rampage. MJF thanks Cole for giving him the confidence to face Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door, then says that he has returned the favor by getting him booked against "Filthy" Tom Lawlor. Lawlor then shows up with Royce Isaacs, and both men attack Cole while MJF mockingly heads to the ring to save the day only to stop halfway down the ramp and Isaacs and Lawlor to run away. MJF then mockingly wishes Cole luck.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) beat three unnamed opponents (who are really Darius Latrell, Koda Hernandez and Axel Rico). After the match, Harley Cameron shows up with two masked men and declares herself an incredible journalist and an amazing musician, and proposes a partnership between them and makes sure that she writes a hit that will go straight to number one. Harley starts singing before Daddy Ass interrupts and tells her that they have the greatest rapper in the world and that this is their thing, and Harley says that she has written a rap for them to hear before binging the masked men into the ring. Harley raps before trying to hit on Bowens, who tells Harley that he is not into her before asking her if she was kicked in the head by a kangaroo too many times as a kid before telling her he is gay. QT Marshall and Aaron Solo and praises Harley's rap before saying he preferred Max Caster's act back in 2003 when John Cena and he didn't need Daddy Ass to get over. One of the masked men then unmasks to reveal himself as John Hennigan - known now as "Johnny TV" - before superkicking Daddy Ass. Harley tells Daddy Ass to suck it before dropping the microphone on him.

We see a video package for Swerve Strickland vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi this Saturday on Collision.

Skye Blue beats Anna Jay A.S. to advance in the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament.

We see a video package for CM Punk, "Absolute" Ricky Starks and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson) and The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) on Collision.

"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry beats Douki with the Skull End to send a message to SANADA. After the match, SANADA shows up and has a staredown with Jungle Boy in the middle of the ring to end the show.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Kelly Kincaid interviews Tavion Heights. Tavion says that cheating and sleazy tactics are temporary success and tarnish the very essence of competition. He says he is not only fighting for his first victory, but for the integrity of this sport, and he will not let deceit overshadow the true spirit of the business as he brings the same intensity he brought to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Luca Crusifino beats Tavion Heights after grabbing the bottom rope for leverage as Tavion goes for the Doctor Bomb.

Jey says that civil war in The Bloodline is on the horizon in London, then he and Jimmy welcome Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa to the Uso Penitentiary.

LA Knight beats Rey Mysterio. After the match, LA Knight tires to attack Rey again, but he rolls out of the ring when Santos Escobar runs in.

Backstage, Ridge Holland walks into Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman's path. When he says something to Solo, Solo almost immediately hits him with the Samoan Spike.

Backstage, Adam Pearce checks on Ridge Holland, and Sheamus tells Pearce that he wants Solo Sikoa. Shortly afterwards, Sheamus shows up on the stage and calls Solo Sikoa out for the fight of his life tonight.

Raquel Rodriguez watches the next match from ringside.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler beat Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn to unify the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships with simultaneous submission holds. After the match, Ronda calls out Raquel as Raquel is heading up the ramp and asks Raquel what she is doing here in the first place. Raquel says she wants a rematch for the title "we" never lost. Baszler wants to know who "we" is when she and Ronda tore everyone apart, then Liv Morgan shows up for the first time since her injury and steps into the ring with Raquel for a staredown with Ronda and Shayna.

It's time for The Grayson Waller Effect. Tonight's guests are Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince). Pretty Deadly declare that Grayson Waller's show is better than Kevin Owens', and Waller says it is great to have guests with good fashion sense and good banter. Waller addresses Pretty Deadly's tag team title match against Owens and Sami Zayn in London, which Kit Wilson calls "the greatest city" before stating that they are taking their tag team title match seriously. Elton Prince then says that they are not getting respect, especially when Sami stated that them becoming #1 contenders to the tag team titles were a surprise, as they have done it before. He says that Owens and Sami can continue to argue and try to fit two egos in one team while they are on the same page and running the tag team division. Waller says he is not surprised, and that Pretty Deadly were the "iron men" of last week's Gauntlet Match. Kit likes the idea of being "the iron men on SmackDown," and he and Elton then brag about "beating" the rest of the teams in the match. When they mention The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford), however, The Street Profits show up and introduce them to "the smoke."

Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) after Elton Prince uses the middle rope for leverage while stacking up Montez Ford for the win.

Charlotte Flair beats Lacey Evans with the Figure Eight. After the match, Asuka attacks Charlotte as she still has Lacey in the Figure Eight while also mocking Lacey's salute.

Backstage, WWE official Adam Pearce is met by Bianca Belair, and lets her know that she will be barred from ringside in next week's women's championship match in case Asuka or Charlotte Flair take a shot at her, and that she will get a shot at the WWE Women's Championship. Bianca makes it known to Pearce that she does not exactly trust him in that regard.

Sheamus vs. Solo Sikoa ends when Solo Sikoa knocks Sheamus out with a running hip attack that breaks through the barricade. After the attack, the referee calls for medical help for Sheamus only for Solo Sikoa to attack the EMTs. Suddenly, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) show up and lay out Solo Sikoa to end the show.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 23, 2022

Black Taurus beats Andrew Everett in the BTI match.

Honor No More show up at the start of the show, and Mike Bennett commandeers a camera. Eddie Edwards apologizes for interrupting the regularly scheduled program and Impact Wrestling's "never ending celebration" even after Slammiversary is over. Eddie says everyone cannot get enough of TNA and the nostalgia, and says TNA left Nashville, Tennessee in order to achieve something bigger and better than they could get over there, and he calls Honor No More the one thing that should be cheered and applauded. He then says that the ones doing the most celebration are not, then goes on to say the TNA Originals did not win and that Honor No More did not lose before saying "At least one of us lost...PCO." Vincent says he did not bring PCO back to life not for Impact Wrestling, but for Honor No More, then brings up Traci Brooks attack Maria Kanellis-Bennett from behind. He also mentions D'Lo Brown trying to save the day and the "artificial referee" Earl Hebner making the pinfall count, then mentions Scott D'Amore was on commentary the whole time and it was as if Impact planned this all along. Matt Taven says Impact Wrestling was mediocre until Honor No More showed up and the only reason Impact is trending, then says that they are putting money in Scott D'Amore's pocket. He also says Ring of Honor would have closed in 2019 if it were not for him. He then says that he was blamed for all of Ring of Honor's problems, then says that he did not kill Ring of Honor and that he saved Impact. Suddenly, American's Most Wanted ("The Cowboy" James Storm and "Wildcat" Chris Harris) shows up. James Storm re-introduces himself and Chris Harris and says they grew up in a time where one had to fight to the top and earn the respect of their peers, and says that he and Harris have done this for the last twenty-five years. He then says that if Honor No More were good, they would have taken that loss, learned from it and came back, then tells Honor No More that they suck. Kenny King asks what year it is again and that James Storm is blowing smoke, and that there is nothing worse than a drunk cowboy and a weak pussycat, but Chris Harris threatens to make him cry harder than he did on The Bachelorette. Harris says he and Storm may be a little bit broken down, but they are proud of what they have accomplished in the last twenty years as well as in TNA, and says that he and Storm came in together and will go out together. The four of them get in the ring and brawl with Honor No More. As Matt Taven and Mike Bennett confront Chris Harris, The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) show up and even the numbers game, and Vincent becomes the recipient of a Magic Killer as Honor No More retreats.

Backstage, "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw meets with Alisha Edwards and hands her a cupcake, then says she wants nothing to do with Masha Slamovich and that neither of them are a team and that Alisha should team up with Lady Frost instead. After Alisha says she might as well team up with Lady Frost, Gisele says she is destined for tag team greatness but needs to find the right partner, then walks off to do just that.

Backstage, Honor No More confront Scott D'Amore, who tells Honor No More that they bit off more than they could chew as Maria says Impact's win was a fluke. He then puts Honor No More in a ten-man tag match against The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson), The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) and "The Cowboy" James Storm at Against All Odds, then puts Taven, Bennett and Eddie in a six man-tag match against The Briscoes and James Storm tonight.

"The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo guests on commentary for the next match.

Mia Yim beats Chelsea Green by countering the Un-Pretty-Her with Eat Defeat after "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo shoves Mia Yim off the top rope only for Mickie James to show up and beat up Deonna.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The Influence (Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne). Madison Rayne mentions that her nose is fractured after they collided, then Gisele Shaw shows up wanting to join them, saying she was on the wrong team and that the right team might be in front of her. Tennille is hesitant, but Madison says that if Gisele were able to take out Rosemary or Taya, they would consider her a part of The Influence. Gisele says "Consider it done."

Bhupinder Gujjar and Shark Boy beat Johnny Swinger and "Outlandish" Zicky Dice. After the match, Deaner and Joe Doering attack both teams, and Deaner and Joe Doering gang up on Gujjar in particular before Deaner says that they are not going anywhere until "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander enters the ring. After the commercial break, Josh Alexander shows up and heads to the ring, then tells Deaner to start talking. Deaner says it is not what he has to say as much as it is that Alexander feels, and asks Alexander how it feels from his demise in Joe Doering. Deaner mentions that Doering has never been pinned in an Impact ring and will be challenging him for the Impact World Championship at Against All Odds, then says the feeling of fear is going down into Alexander's stomach. He tells Alexander to embrace the fear and the fact that the last time he faced Doering, he lost, and that he could not beat him once and cannot beat him again before Doering brings the title back to "the family of Violent By Design." (Eric Young, Deaner, Joe Doering) Alexander says the family is thinning out without Eric Young around, then Doering is wanting to take something he has worked too hard to get back, then says nobody has heard from Young since Slammiversary and that the same thing could happen to Doering. Doering and Deaner gang up on Alexander, then security runs into the ring only to be tossed out of the ring before Alexander fends Doering and Deaner off. Deaner has to hold Doering back and tell him to head to the back alongside the referees, then Alexander and Deaner have their match tonight early.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander beats Deaner with an ankle lock.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian says giving Honor No More the beating they deserved felt great, but when he came back to Impact, it was to answer a challenge twenty years in the making. Next week, he gets to settle his rivalry with Chris Sabin and prove once and for all that he is the future.

In backstage footage from Slammiversary, Jordynne Grace thanks her opponents from the Queen of the Mountain Match, saying she would not be where she is without them and that they will have to work harder than her to take the Knockouts title. We then hear from Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans. Tasha says Jordynne should not thank her just yet, as she is going to take the Knockouts title back from her at Against All Odds, assuming Jordynne can get past Savannah.

Sami Callihan quickly beats Jack Price. After the match, Moose gets in the ring and hits Callihan with a Spear, then hits him repeatedly with a chair before slamming him through a table.

Backstage, Sami Callihan runs into Gail Kim and says Monster's Ball was just the beginning and that a friend of his has a good idea: a Raven's Clockwork House of Fun Match. Gail Kim says he has it against Moose at Against All Odds.

Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) beat The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) and "The Cowboy" James Storm in a six-man tag match. After the match, Honor No More attack The Briscoes and James Storm, then The Good Brothers run in to even the numbers. Despite this, Honor No More come out on top in the brawl before wrapping a chair around Mark Briscoe's ankle and hitting it with chairs.

Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for June 23, 2022

Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith head to the ring to start tonight's show. Smith says he thought back to a couple years ago when he could not get a win, let alone make it onto the card, and was convinced that nobody was here to see him wrestle until Oliver Carter became his tag team partner. He then says that he was able to see a light at the end of the tunnel and wrestle with a smile on his face. Smith says he has wanted to be a WWE Superstar since he was a kid, and says that the fans' energy made it all worth it when they became NXT UK Tag Team Champions. Ashton Smith then announces that he suffered a massive knee injury in the match where he won the titles and ruptured his MCL, and as a result, he and Oliver Carter must vacate the NXT UK tag team titles. He says that he and Carter were looking forward to their first title defense, but he has let the fans and Oliver Carter down. Carter tells Ashton that he let nobody down and talks about the bond they formed three years ago, and no matter what, he will always have his back. Ashton says he will need to take time off to heal, then reminds Oliver Carter the hottest talent under the sun and that he cannot wait for everyone to see how good he is. He then says that when he returns, he will return with a fire in his belly bigger than anyone has ever seen as nobody will tell him that he cannot achieve his dreams twice. Ashton then asks Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala to show up, which Scala does. Scala says he and Johnny Saint have seen the medical reports and that the brand needs tag team champions. Ashton and Oliver hand the belts back, but not before one more round of applause with help from Scala. Ashton and Oliver leave, then Scala declares the tag team titles vacant before Die Familie (Teoman, Rohan Raja, Charlie Dempsey) show up. Rohan Raja says Die Familie was never pinned and that the titles are techically theirs, then demands that Scala declare Die Familie the tag team champions. Scala tells Die Familie that they are not the only team wanting an opportunity, then the team of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, the team of Wild Boar and Mark Andrews, and the team of "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz show up. Scala then announces all four teams will be in a four-way elimination match to decide the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

Backstage, Sarray meets Meiko Satomura and Emilia Mackenzie, then Meiko reminds Emilia that she will face Fallon Henley next week and that she hopes to see fighting spirit.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Sha Samuels sas he is here to make some money and take some bets, then has a chance meeting with Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala where he accuses Wolfgang of cheating in their match last week with his scarf. As this goes, Wolfgang is on his cellphone in the background and he walks into the conversation as Samuels demands a one-on-one match with him. Wolfgang proposes they make the match more interesting, and laughs as Sha Samuels walks away while yelling at Wolfgang that he has no chance.

Isla Dawn beats Myla Grace.

It is announced that Tyler Bate has taken a leave of absence from NXT UK.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Kenny Williams and Tiger Turan.

In backstage footage from earlier this week, Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala is met by Noam Dar, who says he has become a victim of his success after cleaning out an entire division and having nobody left to defend the NXT UK Heritage Cup against, then says he will have to retire on top. All of a sudden, he has an idea of one final farewell match in a stadium with confetti, cake and screaming fans.

Sarray beats Nina Samuels.

Blair Davenport returns to NXT UK next week.

Backstage, Sarray is met by Xia Brookside and Eliza Alexander, who proceed to mock her pendant before stating that this is their division and that Sarray does not get to take opportunities from her. After Eliza says that it is about time someone showed Sarray whose division tis is, Meiko Satomura shows up, and Xia and Eliza back off.

Deonna calls Jordynne "jealous" and "classless," and says that when they meet in the ring, she will become Knockouts Champion.

Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo says that Jordynne Grace wants to put her hands on her, but she came to Impact to become a champion. Suddenly, Alisha Edwards shows up to give some advice, but Deonna wants nothing to do with her. This leads to Alisha Edwards challenging her to a match.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger meets with Rich Swann and tries to get him to be his and Chris Bey's mystery partner tonight. Swann says he is still injured, that Willie is still his friend, and that he will tell Willie what he tried to do.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Bully Ray vs. Devon from November 1, 2012.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page tells "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander it annoys him to no end that everyone "drools over Ken Shamrock" and that he does not get the hype while he and Josh are the two best wrestlers in Impact today. He says that they should get more matches and more money, but they are getting no attention and he is getting angrier and angrier. Suddenly, Shamrock shows up and tells him that him nothing came easy for him. Alexander challenges Shamrock to a match, which Shamrock is all too willing to accept.

Backstage, Moose says nobody is taking him seriously as champion when Crazzy Steve shows up and calls Moose a fake world champion. He says that if Moose is a champion, then he has a top ten hit on Billboard. Crazzy Steve continues to mock Moose, who tells Steve that he has earned a title opportunity and that he will realize who the real world champion is when he sends him to the hospital.

Deonna Purrazzo beats Alisha Edwards by submission. After the match, Jordynne Grace chases Deonna Purrazzo out of the ring.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger is seen asking Suicide to be his and Chris Bey's mystery partner. Suicide walks away as soon as Swinger looks away from him.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Baron Corbin, who says that people are clamoring to be his chosen special guest referee, and that he is keeping who it is a secret to get an edge on Seth Rollins. He says that Rollins' actions not only make him a bad person, but also prove he is scared, and says that he will win the WWE Universal Championship.

We hear from "The New" Daniel Bryan and Rowan. Daniel Bryan says nobody has respect for the tag team division due to talented teams joking around, and tonight, they not only defend titles, they are defending the idea of a respected tag team division. Daniel Bryan says Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis) do nothing but thrust their hips despite their talents, and Rowan says that Heavy Machinery as champions would be "an idiocracy." Daniel says they are trying to keep the tag team division from being made into a joke, and while they are not thanked for their efforts, they are doing it for the division and the planet as they are the planet's champions.

We hear from Shane McMahon, who says she smells victory tonight. Drew McIntyre shows up and says Roman Reigns is too emotional when all he has ever done is tell the truth. He says that he will beat Roman beyond recognition, and that the truth will not hurt half as badly as what he will do to him tonight.

He says that he will deal with Brock Lesnar afterwards if he has to.

Ricochet beats Samoa Joe to win the WWE United States Championship! Backstage, everyone congratulates Ricochet on winning the United States Championship, including Triple H. Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis), who also happens to be there, head to the ring for the next match.

Roman Reigns beats Drew McIntyre despite the interference attempts by Shane McMahon, one of which involves Shane grabbing the referee and pulling him out of the ring to hit Roman with the Coast To Coast.

Kofi Kingston retains the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler in a steel cage match after jumping over Ziggler to get through the door and hit the ground first. After the match, Charly Caruso interviews Kofi, who says that he respects Ziggler but promised that he would walk out WWE Champion.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon, who announce that they will take out Roman Reigns tomorrow night in a 2-on-1 handicap match and let him know it's Shane's yard.

Before the next match, Seth Rollins warns Baron Corbin that if his specially picked special guest referee screws him out of the WWE Universal Championship, he will be smacked with a steel chair. Baron Corbin announces that the special guest referee is none other than Lacey Evans.

Seth Rollins retains the WWE Universal Championship against Baron Corbin. During the match, Lacey Evans heavily favors Corbin and even makes the match no count-outs and no-disqualifications. In the end, Becky Lynch beats up Lacey Evans and two referees have to break it up. One of the referees breaking up the brawl is John Cone, whom Corbin blames for his loss at Super ShowDown, and he ends up taking Lacey Evans' place as referee. Rollins hits the superkick followed by The Stomp to retain. After the match, Rollins celebrates with Becky.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for June 23, 2018

Dalton Castle and The Boys show up. Castle says he is in the same building he became ROH World Champion, and that since then, he has done everything he can to remain champion. At Best In The World, he is taking himself to his limit by defending the World title against two members of Bullet Club in "The Villain" Marty Scurll and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, because "Why the hell not?" He says he is good at this sort of thing, and that he is not afraid to put his title on the line against two men at the same time. Castle admits the odds are against him, but he is still ROH World Champion, it did not happen by accident, and he will do whatever he can to drop every opponent on their head until they never get up again to keep it. He says that Cody and Scurll are going to regret doubting him at Best In The World, and that the World title will be his for a long time.

Jay Lethal beats Chuckie T. Both men shake hands after the match.

Bullet Club (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, "Hangman" Adam Page) beat Punishment Martinez and The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) after the Jay Driller is reversed into a roll-up. After the match, The Briscoes go on a rampage, and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes runs into the ring with a steel chair to force The Briscoes to retreat.

"The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian beats "Hangman" Adam Page in a Strap Match after a strap with nails at the end is introduced into the match and Kazarian chokes Page out on the bottom rope with a leather strap.

Search & Destroy (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Jay White, Jonathan Gresham) beats The Rebellion (Kenny King, Rhett Titus, Caprice Coleman, Shane Taylor) after Gresham locks the Octopus on Titus. As per pre-match stipulation, The Rebellion must disband. After the match, Punishment Martinez rushes into the ring and attacks Gresham before choke slamming White.

Jay Lethal beats "The Last Real Man" Silas Young after Silas pulls out a beer keg, lays Lethal on it, pushes referee Todd Sinclair to the mat and tries to roll up Lethal only for the roll-up to be reversed. After the match, The Beer City Bruiser shows up as Silas attacks Lethal. Silas hits Misery on Lethal on the keg, then he and the Bruiser put the keg between two turnbuckles and presses the keg against Lethal's ribs while the Bruiser splashes Lethal in the back. Silas and The Bruiser then set up a table and place Lethal on it, then The Beer City Bruiser splashes Lethal through the table.

Dalton Castle and The Boys beat Bully Ray and The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) to become the new ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions after Castle pins Mark Briscoe with a schoolboy while Bully Ray has to calm Jay Briscoe down after Jay chases one of The Boys out into the crowd.

KUSHIDA retains the ROH World Television Championship against "The Villain" Marty Scurll.

Before the next match, Best Friends (Chuckie T and Trent Barretta) show up. Trent demands a ROH World Tag Team title shot from The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) right now, and that the match be a tornado tag team match. The Young Bucks accept without hesitation, and the world tag team title match becomes a three-way dance.

Cody Rhoes beats "The Almighty" Christopher Daniels to become the ROH World Championship. After the match, Carey Silkin - whom Cody put his hands on earlier in the match - reluctantly hands the ROH World Championship to Cody after Cody put his hands on him earlier in the match. Seth Rollins shows up. He says that the idea of achieving anything if you just put your mind to it is a big fat lie thanks to Dean Ambrose, and that he is not happy with the fact that he has to beat Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns at the same time to get the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back. After saying he will prove himself the best member of The Shield at Battleground, he issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to face him in the main event tonight. Sami Zayn shows up, and Seth calls him the perfect person to make an example out of. Suddenly, Dean Ambrose shows up and starts an impromptu Ambrose Asylum, complete with set pieces, much to Seth's chagrin. After drawing a championship belt on the Ambrose Asylum sign, Ambrose asks Rollins why he's being such a jackass, then Sami Zayn wants to go at it with Seth Rollins right now. Seth gets angry and leaves.

Cesaro beats Alberto Del Rio by reversing a Cross Arm Breaker into a Neutralizer.

Sheamus beats Apollo Crews by count-out after kicking Crews straight into the steel steps.

The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) brag about beating up John Cena when The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). Jimmy Uso challenges AJ Styles to a one-on-one match. AJ Styles accepts, and gives him his word that Gallows and Anderson won't show up at ringside.

AJ Styles beats Jimmy Uso after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson show up and attack Jey Uso.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) beat The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch). After the match, The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman) show up on the TitanTron. Bray Wyatt questions the power of positivity, then declares that The New Day will fall.

Due to her letting Roman Reigns in the battle royal last week, which ended up with Reigns winning and going on to the Money In The Bank Ladder Match for the WWE World title, Vickie is almost fired. After talking about how much of a failure Vickie is and making Vickie beg and plead for her very job back, Stephanie gives her one last chance: Vickie has to win her match in order to stay General Manager of SmackDown. Her opponent? Stephanie McMahon herself!

Luke Harper beats Jimmy Uso. After the match, Jey Uso challenges Erick Rowan to a match.

Jey Uso beats Erick Rowan after some high flying both him and his brother Jimmy Uso. Rowan and Luke Harper go on the attack after the match. Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron and congratulates his brothers.

Daniel Bryan will make his first appearance since losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank.

He brings out Seth Rollins, who tells everyone that they should get over the break-up of The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Rollins, Roman Reigns) just like he did. Rob Van Dam shows up and, after words are traded, challenges Rollins to a match right now. Triple H makes it happen.

Dean Ambrose beats up Seth Rollins in Rollins vs. Rob Van Dam. Ambrose says that if he can't be in the Money In The Bank Contract Ladder Match, he'll screw Rollins out of the briefcase.

Seth Rollins wants Dean Ambrose in the Money In The Bank Contract Ladder Match so he can keep a closer eye on him. Triple H puts Ambrose in the match, but warns him that if this blows up in his face, it's all on him.

Vickie throws Stephanie's goons in, but Stephanie pushes Vickie in, causing Vickie to be fired from her position as SmackDown General Manager. Vickie gets revenge by pushing Stephanie in the pool of brown glop, then does the Eddie Guerrero shimmy as she walks back up the ramp, telling Eddie "this is for him."

Byron Saxton interviews Goldust, who doesn't believe Stardust is his brother, Cody Rhodes.

Jack Swagger beats Kofi Kingston with the Patriot Lock.

Paige defends the WWE Divas Championship against Naomi at Money In The Bank!

John Cena, Roman Reigns and Sheamus beat Cesaro, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Alberto Del Rio in a 4-on-3 handicap match. After the match, Kane shows up and demolishes everyone. Triple H shows up and puts Kane in the Money In The Bank Championship Ladder Match.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly at the top of the show. Page says he loves surprises, and tells The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) he can't wait to see the look on their faces when he shows him their surprise. Kimberly says she's made a call to J.J. Dillon and the WCW Executive Committee and has gotten a match between Page and Hall tonight. It is then mentioned by commentary that Kevin Nash is not in the building tonight.

La Parka and Damien beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) after La Parka hits Johnny Grunge in the back with a steel chair while the referee is checking on Damien, who has been put through a table by "Flyboy" Rocco Rock with a somersault over the top rope. During the match, it is announced that Eddie Guerrero is back from injury and will be taking on Syxx for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, and that "The Cat" Ernest Miller will be making his WCW debut in a tag team match with Glacier.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eddie Guerrero, who is now back from injury. We find out that Eddie was signed for last week's match against Dean Malenko, but Eddie supposedly sent out his nephew Chavo Guerrero, Jr. to face Malenko instead. Eddie says that he would never do anything like that to his nephew, and says he had not been released medically to wrestle that night and that Chavo offered to take his place. Eddie then brings out Chavo so he can clear the air, but Chavo says he wouldn't exactly say he offered to take Eddie's place. Eddie stops him and gives Chavo another opportunity, and gives Chavo the opportunity to become the Cruiserweight champ by giving him his title shot against Syxx, and tells him that he has gotten it straightened out with WCW Executive Committee head J.J. Dillon. Chavo is hesitant and can't believe what's going on, and Eddie flatly asks if Chavo wants the shot. Chavo says yes, and hesitantly fist bumps with Eddie before they both head to the back.

Chris Jericho beats Alex Wright with the Boston Crab.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) to become the #1 contenders for the WCW Tag Team Championships after Rick Steiner sends Booker T into Sister Sherri, knocking her off the apron and into Stevie Ray. "Mean" Gene Okerlund is about to conduct an interview when Buff Bagwell, Vincent and Scott Norton show up. Buff says he has better muscles than Scott Steiner, then introduces the new tag team of himself and Norton known as "Vicious and Delicious." Norton says they don't care and they ain't scared, and tells the competition to watch their careers crumble before their eyes. Okerlund then interviews the Steiners. Rick makes it clear that he and Scott want The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) next week for the WCW World Tag Team Championships. Scott tells The Outsiders there will be a confrontation, as they owe them a title shot.

We see footage of "The Cat" Ernest Miller at a training session.

Hector Garza beats Villano IV.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Lex Luger and The Giant. Luger says that everyone is sickened and disgusted over what happened last week, and that WCW officials have given him and The Giant every assurance that every security measure will be taken while his friends will watch their backs even if they have to get physically involved to ensure that their match against "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Dennis Rodman will be done on equal footing. He is taking the low point of last week as incentive for revenge, as he knows that there is nothing in Hogan and that Hogan is a quitter, unlike him and The Giant, who will have their day of reckoning. The Giant says he is the luckiest person of all because he is the only one who will stick a big giant hook in "The Worm" Dennis Rodman. He also wants to see how many times he slaps Hogan and Rodman and to see whose hair dye comes out first. Luger says no words can express how he and The Giant felt last week, and that their talking will be done in the ring at Bash at the Beach.

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Syxx retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Chavo Guerrero, Jr. with the Buzzkiller after Scott Hall hits Chavo with The Outsider's Edge behind the referee's back. Eddie Guerrero, who promises to have Chavo's back, simply stands there as Chavo is taken out, disappointed in Chavo.

Steve "Mongo" McMichael beats Konnan with a Tombstone Piledriver when Konnan is distracted by Hugh Morrus, who shows up with a wooden stick and is blocked from entering the ring by Doug Dellinger and WCW security.

We see a video package of "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and his road to getting another shot at The Taskmaster at Bash at the Beach, where The Taskmaster's career is on the line.

Lee Marshall calls from Las Vegas, Nevada - the site of next week's Nitro - for the 1-800-COLLECT Road Report.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Piper says he is here tonight to do what he does best: makin' bacon. He says that he has been a little goody two-shoes for his own liking, as he's good when he good and better when he's bad and he likes himself when he is bad, and wherever he goes, hell will follow. Piper goes on to say that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair did not betray him at Slamboree and sees no reason why he would, but admits Flair does have his quirks. Flair shows up and reiterates his comments from last week, saying that Piper is his friend and will stand by his side, and that his decision to chase Syxx to the back was in both their best interests. Piper believes him, even though he left him to the wolves. Flair tells Piper he's here to help him avoid disaster when all of a sudden "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Debra McMichael show up. After Debra says that Jarrett has "lost his scholarship" and that she has ditched him like last year's fashion (implying that Jarrett is out of The Four Horsemen, which Flair will neither confirm nor deny is his doing), Mongo tells Piper that just because Dennis Rodman isn't here doesn't mean that Piper has to wear a skirt. Piper says he didn't come here for any of this, but Mongo says that his other team didn't win by "letting the likes of [Piper] mess with the team captain." Flair tells Mongo that Piper is a good guy and is going to leave, but Mongo isn't having any of it and says that Piper is looking for a soft spot to put the knife in. Benoit says that Piper has been around for too long and judging by his spine, he is suffering from osteoporosis. Flair decks Mongo and Benoit, and also decks Flair. Piper is focused on Flair when Mongo hits him with the steel Halliburton briefcase and Benoit puts the Crippler Crossface on him. Flair, Mongo and Benoit then attack Piper as Doug Dellinger and WCW security get in the ring.

Glacier and the debuting "The Cat" Ernest Miller beat High Voltage (Rage and Kaos). James Vandenburg, Mortis and Wrath watch from the entrance ramp during the match, then rush the ring before Glacier and Miller stop them. James Vandenberg stops Mortis and Wrath, telling them the time is not right.

We see a video package of The New World Order, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Dennis Rodman.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth show up with Scott Hall before the next match, much to the surprise of the commentators. Kimberly leaves, saying she wants to be nowhere near Savage, while Page stands his ground.

Diamond Dallas Page beats Scott Hall by disqualification after "Macho Man" Randy Savage attacks Page from behind. Savage and Hall gang up on Page after the match, then Sting is sen in the crowd pointing his baseball bat towards the ring as he is surrounded by the crowd. Sting then fights through his way through the fans and gets in the ring, and Hall and Savage retreat temporarliy, and when they try to attack Sting, Sting lays them out with his baseball bat as the show ends.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 23, 1997

Vince McMahon interviews The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Ahmed Johnson) to start tonight's show. Ahmed, when asked why he joined the Nation, tells Vince to ask himself why, then says the fans never backed him up for a title, and that he never got another shot at the Intercontinental Championship after returning from injury as he is a Black man. Vince tells Ahmed he was going to get an opportunity, but Ahmed says that Martin Luther King Jr. was going to live another ten years and that never happened because he got assassinated for "trying to be nice." He then says Louis Farrakhan is alive because he doesn't preach the peace. Ahmed goes on to announce that he has no respect for The Undertaker anymore, saying that a man who has to listen to another man is "a low-down, dirty slave dog" and says that when The Undertaker puts his hands on him, he won't be dead enough. D'Lo Brown proclaims that Ahmed came back because he was held down and the people, including Vince, turned his back on him. Faarooq says the truth kills everybody, and says Savio Vega and Crush couldn't get the job done. He says the most feared threat in the world today is powerful, intelligent Black human beings getting together for a cause, and that the new Nation will get the job done. D'Lo Brown calls the Nation the four most dominating men in the WWF today, and that nobody will stop them. Ahmed tells Vince that if he crosses his eyes at the Nation again, he will wish he was never born. Kama says he is proud of himself for single-handedly defeating The Undertaker last week, and is also proud of The Nation as well as Ahmed Johnson, who finally has a chance to take down The Undertaker and prove The Nation are the champions. D'Lo Brown says The Nation rules the WWF, and will do so by any means necessary. Suddenly, four men in biker gear show up on motorcycles, and one of them is Crush. They surround the ring and rev up their motors as a means of intimidation, then get off the bikes and into the ring. Crush says he can't remember hearing so much crap in his entire life, and tells Faarooq he never fired him because he quit. He then introduces the Nation to a real brotherhood: D.O.A., the Disciples of Apocalypse, who live together, ride together and fight together. This starts an all-out brawl that not only referees have to quell, but also WWF officials and police officers.

The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) says it's going to be their tournament tonight, and that's the way they like it.

Former UFC and current NWA champion Dan Severn guests on commentary for the next match to provide some insight on "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, having faced Shamrock on two occasions.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock beats Rockabilly with the ankle lock submission. The Honky Tonk Man almost whacks Shamrock in the head with his guitar, but Shamrock turns around and makes him think twice. Shamrock then notices Dan Severn at the commentary table, and both men stare down for a few seconds before shaking hands. Shamrock then raises Severn's hand.

Henry O. Godwinn says that his recent neck injury that broke his C4 vertebrae was no accident, and didn't feel like on either. He tells The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) that what they will do to them tonight will be no accident. He's not stupid, and neither is his brother, Phineas I. Godwinn, and the Godwinns - now sans shirts - will do things their way from now on.

Chyna, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock will be at Muscle Beach in Venice, California this Saturday from 1 to 2 PM.

It is noted that "Wildman" Marc Mero is seemingly becoming jealous of the attention that Sable has been getting in his absence, and that the issue is discussed in the newest issue of Raw Magazine.

The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) slop The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk), but all it does is get the L.O.D. mad. It is then mentioned that "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock has been attacked backstage by The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit" Man, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman).

The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) to continue to the next round of the tag team tournament. After The Godwinns attack The Legion of Doom with their slop buckets and Animal clears them out with a steel chair, The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit" Man, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman) zoom in to attack the L.O.D. as Bret "The Hit Man" Hart surveys the carnage from the top of the entrance ramp.

Boxer and multi-weight class champion Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns is seen in the front row with his family.

Paul Bearer tells The Undertaker it's all about him, and The Undertaker finally put his hand on the throat of Bearer...as well as Vader, who rushes in to protect Bearer. Bearer tells The Undertaker to remember the fire, and 'Taker leaves the room.

Owen Hart is disgusted with the triple threat with the Intercontinental Championship on the line, considering it unfair that a Canadian has to face two Americans at the same time on American soil. Owen is not worried, as he has a big surprise in store.

We see a preview of 'Cause Stone Cold Said So, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's new video.

Paul E. Dangerously guests on commentary for the next match.

Flash Funk and Sabu wrestle to a double-count out as Sabu tries to put Flash Funk through a table with a moonsault, with the table refusing to break. During the match, It is mentioned that Bill Alfonso was originally a referee in the World Wrestling Federation prior to becoming a manager in Extreme Championship Wrestling. Sabu and his manager Bill Alfonso leave through the crowd after the match.

Mankind comes to the ring for his match wearing an Austin 3:16 shirt as well as a cardboard sign around his neck saying "Pick Me Steve." He dedicates his efforts in the ring tonight to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, a man he is proud to call his friend. (The sign gets ripped in half by The British Bulldog during the match.)

The recently injured "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is interviewed via telephone, who says never to call him collect again because he will not accept the charges. He also says hello to his brother Kevin, who was recently stepped on by a bull and owes him $30. He will be back on Friday night in Salt Lake City, Utah. As for Mankind's campaign to be his tag team partner, he sees it as a tribute to himself and appreciates the effort, but also calls him a freak and would still defend the tag team titles by himself even if Mankind is a worth tag team partner.

Mankind beats The British Bulldog by disqualification after Bulldog repeatedly hits Mankind with a steel chair. Four chair shots aren't enough, however, as Mankind cinches the Mandible Claw on Bulldog until Bulldog is able to escape.

WWF President Gorilla Monsoon has no problem with Brian Pillman managing Owen Hart in the Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship.

We see some of the men who have held the WWF Intercontinental Championship: Pat Patterson, Pedro Morales, Don Muraco, Tito Santana, The Honky Tonk Man, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, The British Bulldog, Ahmed Johnson, and "Wildman" Marc Mero.

The intro to the show is replayed to signify the start of War Zone.

Pat Patterson is special guest referee for the next match.

Goldust almost beats Hunter Helmsley and Owen Hart to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship. During the commercial break, referee Earl Hebner and WWF President Gorilla Monsoon bring up the fact that Owen Hart placed his foot on the rope, which Patterson did not see. As a result, the match is restarted.

Owen Hart retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Goldust when Goldust tries to break Owen's pinfall attempt from the top rope only for Owen to move out of the way so he can cinch the win. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart watch the post-match celebration from backstage.

Vince McMahon interviews "Bret Hit Man" Hart, who is accompanied by Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Hart says The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) aren't the best tag team in the WWF, and that he and Neidhart are. He has no problem with "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock coming to the WWF to make a name for himself, and tells Marlena that he has four sisters who will knock her socks off if she lays a hand on The British Bulldog. As for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, he just considers him the scum of the earth. He says that Austin can look over his shoulder, but justice is coming in the form of The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit" Man, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman) in Hart's hometown, whether Austin likes it or not. He says that a victory will not be stolen from the Foundation, or else they will eliminate their opponents forever. Bret Hart then calls out Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns, saying that Hearns stole his nickname, and dares him to step in the ring and prove himself, which he does after Bret says "I don't think you're The Hitman, I think you're the Chicken Man." Bret and Hearns stare down, then Hearns punches Neidhart in the gut several times. Officials have to keep Hearns away from Bret, while Neidhart is out on his feet.

Tommy "The Hit Man" Hearns is seen on camera one more time after the break, this time to crowd ovation.

Faarooqis confronted by Savio Vega backstage, and gets beaten up by D'Lo Brown and Kama Mustafa for his efforts before Faarooq whips him with the leather straps.

Jerry "The King" Lawler guests on commentary for the next match after accompanying Brian Christopher to the ring. Lawler refuses to admit that Brian Christopher is his son, simply saying that Christopher is a great athlete.

Brian Christopher beats Scott Taylor in a Light Heavyweight Division match.

Paul Bearer tells Vince McMahon not to read into his "Remember the fire" statement to The Undertaker from earlier tonight, saying that everything is okay.

The Nation of Domination (Faarooq and Kama Mustafa) beat The Undertaker and Vader to continue to the next round of the tag team tournament after 'Taker punches Vader from the apron. During the match, The Disciples of Apocalypse show up and attack The Nation of Domination, but are cleared out during the break when The Undertaker also fights the D.O.A. off. After the match, Paul Bearer confronts 'Taker, but "Taker waves him off. Vader fights The Undertaker, but falls victim to a Tombstone Piledriver. Bearer runs away, and 'Taker is about to leave when Bearer tells him to turn around. He threatens to tell 'Taker's secret next week, and 'Taker answers with a throat slash gesture before heading to the back.
