Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for July 15, 2026

In backstage footage from earlier today, we hear from Daniel Garcia and Will Ospreay. They are training with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta as Jon Moxley shows up and tells everyone to get ready. Claudio, Garcia and Yuta leave, then Moxley tells Ospreay that most of the work is done and his neck has healed. Moxley says that people make simple things so complicated, and that when the moment comes, they hesitate. He tells Ospreay that he has earned this, and tells him that there will be times where he will have to make some hard decisions. Moxley says this is not a hard decision, and when he has the moment, he will not hesitate; he will pull the trigger.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia) after Yuta removes a top turn buckle only for Christian to kick Garcia in the groin behind referee Bryce Remsburg's back, which allows Christian to send Yuta upwards into a Spear by Copeland to win and retain. After the match, The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay) and Claudio Castagnoli get in the ring and attack Copeland and Christian, then The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin) run towards the ring to fight Claudio and The Dogs off. "Switchblade" Jay White shows up late as David Finlay rears back with his shillelagh, taking the shillelagh away from Davis and scaring him out of the ring. Christian confronts Jay White as Switchblade has the shillelagh in his hands, and Jay White hands the shillelagh to Copeland. This leads to a truce between the tag champs and The Bang Bang Gang. Meanwhile, David Finlay demands his shillelagh back as he watches from the crowd.

We hear from Andrade el Idolo as he is on the beach. Andrade says that he is free from his past and ready to become an AEW World Champion.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Andrade el Idolo. Andrade says he will battle every member of The Don Callis Family, and if he has to take all their championships, he will do it, as he will be an AEW World Champion. Andrade then pulls out a red jewelry box with a Dynamite Diamond Ring in it, saying he got it from a good friend. When Renee asks if the good friend is Will Ospreay, Andrade says "How you know?"

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) soon show up and make it known they want the AEW World Trios Championships. As Kyle O'Reilly accepts the challenge, The Conglomeration are attacked from behind by The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, "Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian, "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson).

Andrade el Idolo beats Jake Doyle to earn a shot at Mark Davis and the AEW National Championship. After the match, Mark Davis shows up and confronts Andrade, but Andrade puts his Dynamite Diamond Ring on. Mark Davis steps back before Andrade can punch him with the ring.

Tony Schiavone introduces Kenny Omega into the ring for a championship celebration. Omega is soon joined by The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and Nick Jackson is carrying something in what looks like a light brown bag. Matt Jackson talks their and Omega's nearly 20-year friendship and how Omega won the big one all by himself and proved that he is still the best professional wrestler on the planet. Matt then admits that MJF's custom Burberry belt peeves him, and Nick pulls the original AEW World Championship with the black leather strap out of the light brown bag to hand to Omega. Omega says it has been over 1100 days since he last held the AEW World Championship, and admits that he was not sure if he would ever hold it again. He says that as much as he made a promise to himself, it took his friends, his family and his fans believing in him to keep him from giving up on himself. Omega says this was not supposed to happen, and yet, here we are with less than 50 days remaining until Wembley Stadium. He says that as much as he would like to say he is ready, there is still work to do. Omega says that the fans will see the best Kenny Omega that has ever been in AEW before Will Ospreay shows up and heads to the ring. Ospreay asks The Young Bucks if he could speak with Omega alone, which The Young Bucks allow before heading to the back. Ospreay says it is good to see Omega as AEW World Champion again. Ospreay admits he thought that Omega gave up on himself and knew that Omega had to believe in himself, and that when he wrestled MJF, he did not give up once. He says that it will heat up on the way to All In, and says that for ten years, Omega has been his hero and he has watched Omega wrestle around the world as Omega inspired him to be one of the best in the world. Ospreay says that when he thinks of AEW, he thinks of Omega, and that he has always wanted to be a fraction of what Omega is. He then says that he is locked in, and that the two of them will keep it going and show everyone why they are in the position they are in. Ospreay says that this is a dream come true of "Goku and Vegeta fighting it out," and at All In, they will show that AEW is where the best wrestle. Suddenly, "The Jet" Kevin Knight arrives as Omega and Ospreay are about to shake hands. Knight says that he and Omega have some talking to do, and tells Ospreay to leave. Ospreay is about to leave when Omega says Ospreay can stay, and Knight congratulates Omega on becoming AEW World Championship before stating he is still owed a World title shot. He says that "Maxwell Jacob Fraudman" is not here to give him that shot, but Omega is here and he is here to collect. Knight then asks what a god is to a non-believer, as he is ready to become a double champion, and challenges Omega for the AEW World Championship at Redemption. Omega notes that Knight is trying to hold him to a promise MJF made to him, and says that while he is not going to do that, he will give Knight a shot at the title anyway due to the potential that he saw in him. Omega says that he had "it" and had the undeniable factor" and "looked the part," and while Knight was hungry, that was where it ended, as Knight had to align himself with Don Callis. He says he would be a hypocrite if he told everyone here tonight that he did not believe in Callis' siren song and that Callis would lead him to the promised land, as he held the AEW World Championship because of him. He says that nobody believed in that version of him, and that his self-worth fell right down the toilet with Callis. Omega tells Knight he does not need Callis, and that when he believes in Knight, he says the same words that others have said about Knight. He tells Knight that he could have it all on his own with Callis, and while Knight can say what he will about MJF, MJF was not a fraud, as he still defended the title every week and was a man of his word. Omega then says the only fraud he sees is Knight. He says that Knight is not being himself, and that what he is saying is not coming from his heart, which he still believes has some good in it. Omega then says he wants "The Jet," not "Don Callis' lap dop," and he wants Knight to do it on his own. This leads to a "lap dog" chant, and Knight says that while Omega makes a good claim, there is no goodness - only greatness - left in his heart before he hits Omega with the microphone and deftly avoids a Hidden Blade from Ospreay only to get jumped by Darby Allin. "The Machine" Brian Cage shows up and attacks Darby before calling out the rest of The Don Callis Family. Ospreay and Omega are soon joined by Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, and The Don Callis Family backs off.

Backstage, we hear from "Jungle" Jack Perry, who says that he is starting his second chapter in AEW. He says that he was on the verge of breaking through to the next level in his first chapter, and on Collision, he wants a match with someone else who wants to break through like he does and show what the future of professional wrestling is all about.

Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) beat Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. As Fletcher says he is ready to put Komander away tonight, Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) shows up and hands both Renee a Fletcher a wanted poster of Bandido, much to Fletcher and Callis' annoyance.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher retains the AEW International Championship against Komander. After the match, Fletcher tears at Komander's mask, then "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita runs in and brawls with Fletcher. Takeshita then picks up the AEW International Championship and declares that it is his before "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada suddenly shows up and hits Takeshita with the Rainmaker. Fletcher and Okada are about to fight over the International Championship before Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) shows up and takes them both out.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kenny Omega. Omega says there is no shortage of credible challengers and that he still has hope for "The Jet" Kevin Knight. Darby Allin shows up and tells Omega that Kevin Knight will not change overnight and that he must be physically humbled, and that he will take the TNT Championship from Knight and humble him. He tells Omega that he can either waste his time or he can beat it out of him, and Omega tells Darby he will leave it to him. Darby leaves, then Jon Moxley shows up and says that Darby is right and that some people are what they are and cannot pretend to be anything else even if they try.

Renee Paquette interviews The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) on the stage. Alex Windsor says that if there is anybody who knows anything about drinking and fighting, it is the people of Boston, Massachusetts. Jamie Hayter says they had a pretty good time, even though England let them down in the World Cup. Hayter tells the fans that The Brawling Birds will not let them down, and Windsor says they will beat anyone to prove they are the best women's tag team in AEW. Hayter then tells the fans "let's get pissed," and says the first round is on them as they leave with Renee.

Backstage, we hear from Chris Jericho, who says that Tommaso Ciampa left his beaten and battered at Beach Break, then says that they can go again at Redemption. He tells Ciampa to bring pain and that he will bring "The Painmaker." We then hear from Ciampa, who says that he is better than Jericho, and at Redemption, everyone will find out if The Painmaker is better than him. Ciampa accepts the challenge, but says he has one more night in his hometown, and on Collision, he wants Jericho to be watching as he makes an example of someone.

Darby Allin beats "The Machine" Brian Cage after tripping Cage on the ring steps for a Coffin Drop before hitting Cage with two more Coffin Drops back in the ring.

Backstage, we hear from "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Fletcher says that if Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) want to stick their noses in family business and take his title, he has no problem with that. Fletcher says he will be the greatest International Champion of all time, and if Bandido wants him, he wants Bandido at Redemption.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis and "The Jet" Kevin Knight. Callis says that Knight can handle whatever is on his plate, then says that Knight is too smart for Kenny Omega's mind games. He says that everything that Omega has gotten in life is because of him, and tells Knight to take care of Omega. Callis leaves, then "Speedball" Mike Bailey shows up and says that Knight's facade is not working, and tells him to take Omega's advice and know that everyone loves him enough that when he is ready to go back to who he really is, he is forgiven. Knight tells Speedball to let him be.

Mercedes Moné and The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) beat Willow Nightingale, Maya World and Hyan in a trios match.
