Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for July 31, 2026

"Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty retains the ROH Pure Championship against Angelico.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne and Bandido. Nick Wayne wants respect on his name, much to the annoyance of Bandido, who says that Nick Wayne has no honor and that he has been a champion longer than Nick Wayne has ever been. Nick Wayne says talent, not honor, wins championships, and that he will become the youngest and greatest ROH World Champion the world has ever seen. Bandido tells Nick Wayne he will get his shot at Death Before Dishonor, where he will show him why he is "the most wanted."

Emi Sakura beats Viva Van.

Backstage, Sam Letourneau interviews The Kingdom (Matthew Taven and Michael Bennett), who find out that their personalized AI Sparta that they have been on an unbelievable winning streak since returning to ROH, but so have Bustah and the Brain (Alec Price and Jordan Oliver), who they have beaten. They then find out that they have an 87% chance of winning with their tag team partners, Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake). Gibson says they are in dire need of a victory, then tells them not to let their phones get in the way, as they do not trust AI and they do not trust them. He then tells The Kingdom not to mess this up.

Diamanté beats Allie Katch. After the match, Diamanté continues to attack Allie Katch until Queen Aminata runs to the ring.

Caprice Coleman chops it up with Shane Taylor. Shane Taylor takes offense to comments made by Coleman during his recent interview with "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty in which he called what Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Trish Adora, Christyana XO) does "gangsta activity," stating that what he does for him and his crew is good business just like anyone else doing it; for that, Coleman apologizes. Shane Taylor talks about how he has laid Jon Moxley out three times and how nobody has taken the fight to The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) like Shane Taylor Promotions. On the topic of where Shane Taylor Promotions is going, Shane Taylor says he enjoys finding "diamonds in the rough" and that everyone who comes to him becomes a superstar and a champion and reaches the level of success that they dreamed about when they entered the industry. He says that he is looking for heart and conviction, and wants to be able to trust that those he looks for are loyal to their goals, saying that those who are will be able to get everyone to where they want to be. Taylor says that he has not let wrestling change who he is and that while the money, the championships and the legacy are cool, he still has to be his father's son. He says that one must be true to one's self when it comes to the business and cannot lose who they are.

AR Fox beats Soleil.

Backstage, we hear from Athena. Athena says it is hard enough just being herself before listing off her ROH accomplishments and everyone trying to live like her when they have done nothing to prove themselves. She says that Hazuki not only cost her money, but got the gleam of her championship, and at Death Before Dishonor, she will do what nobody expects her to do and actually bet on Hazuki, because the odds are so stacked against her that she will be a multi-millionaire by the end of the match even if Hazuki pulls off a miracle, and that Hazuki will learn that no man can touch her reign and no woman can stand against her legacy, and that all of her supporters can get over it.

Steph De Lander beats Rachael Ellering in a Pure Rules Match after shoving referee Mike Posey out of the way in order to get away with punching Ellering in the face with a second closed fist.

In backstage footage from after last night's Collision, Juice Robinson shows off the sweat he worked up before announcing he is coming to Ring of Honor to see how much of a wrestler he is and calling out Anthony Henry for a one-on-one match.

Trish Adora beats Angelica Risk.

Backstage, we hear from Steph De Lander. She says that it has been a while and things have changed, and that she is the best pure wrestler in ROH and that "The Virtuousa" Deonna Purrazo knows that. De Lander demands a shot at the ROH Women's Pure Championship and that Purrazzo will put the title on the line if she is the fighting championship she says she is, saying that Purrazzo has been sitting pretty for far too long simply because she did not show up. De Lander then states that "ROH is SDL."

Julissa Mexa beats Vertvixen.

Backstage, we hear from Nigel McGuiness. He says that life is about timing and that nobody knows that better than him, as he earned a shot at the ROH Pure Championship at Supercard of Honor and that he will take his shot at Death Before Dishonor. He says that the last two times he faced "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty under Pure Rules and in an Iron Man Match, Moriarty beat him, and if he cannot do it after three attempts, he should never challenge for the Pure title again. He then says that if he cannot beat Moriarty at Death Before Dishonor, he will never wrestle in ROH again.

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) and The Kingdom (Matthew Taven and Michael Bennett) beat The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) and Busta and the Brain (Alec Price and Jordan Oliver) in an eight-man tag match after Taven nearly pulls the referee out of the ring, allowing Grizzled Young Veterans to hit low blows on The Von Erichs for the win.

"The Real Deal" Zayda Steel beats Sara Leon by submission with an Indian Deathlock.

Backstage, Sam Letourneau interviews "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo says she has yet to back down in her open challenge, and if Steph De Lander wants to challenge her for the Women's Pure Championship and claim she is the best pure wrestler in ROH, she will accept De Lander's challenge despite no evidence towards De Lander's claim of being the best. She says that regardless of who steps in the ring with her, the outcome remains the same.

Juice Robinson beats Anthony Henry.
