Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for October 29, 1999

Sabu beats Taz with a top rope leg drop through a table in a battle billed as being between the only grand slam champions in ECW history. After the match, Sabu is attacked from behind by The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm), then Rob Van Dam runs in and chases them out. Afterwards, Sabu and RVD go at it, and Tazz puts RVD in the Katahajime. Sabu continues to take the boots to RVD after this.

Lance Storm beats "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer after Francine and Dawn Marie have a catfight when the latter breaks up an inside cradle by Dreamer and Raven runs into the ring to hit Dreamer with an Evenflow DDT. After the match, Raven has a Singapore cane smashed into his forehead by Justin Credible, who is making his way towards the ring. After Justin and Storm take the boots to Dreamer and brag about it, Dreamer gets up and chases them out of the ring with a steel chair. After the Extreme Replay, Raven tells Dreamer that while he ates Justin and Storm, he hates him "fucking worse." He says he does not need Dreamer's help, as he says that Dreamer is like everyone else and wants to leech off his stardom. He calls him a dirtball and a degenerate, and says he is filled with decadence and debauchery and that all he wants to be is him. He then hits Dreamer with the microphone before hitting him with another Evenflow DDT.

In footage from earlier tonight, Nova says everybody in the locker room has their motivation and everyone at home has their own problems. He says that Chris Chetti was injured at Anarchy Rulz, and from now on, he will dedicate every match he wrestles in ECW from here on out to him.

' The Baldies (Angle, Tony DeVito, Skull) are seen approaching the ring.

The Baldies (Angle, Tony DeVito, Skull) get in the ring and attack Nova along with Danny Doring and Roadkill. Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney show up with steel chairs and decimate The Baldies, Doring and Roadkill with them. Miss Congeniality gets in the ring and slaps Axl Rotten in the face, but as Axl and Balls hesitate to swing their chairs at her, Jazz shows up and smacks Miss Congeniality from behind with a steel chair before punching beating her up. Axl raises Jazz's hand in victory.

Next week: a November To Remember preview! The "Catfight Wars" continue! A WCW hardcore star will jump into the ring...and WCW doesn't even know about it yet!

We see footage where Raven talks about how he got beaten up earlier and how the EMTs had to bandage him up. Once again, he is alone with his demons, but he takes solace in the fact of all the misery he will bring to Tommy Dreamer and The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm). He says Dreamer will never ascend to the heights he has reached, and that Justin Credible will never be him, no matter what he does.

X-Pac then takes the microphone, and announces that D-Generation X is back on top. He says that DX is the strongest force in the World Wrestling Federation today, but they can always get bigger, and tonight, he has the feeling that the fans will see a new member. Billy Gunn then mentions that last Monday, he got a taste of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and liked it, and says that DX will be at ringside when he beats Austin in the ring tonight. Road Dogg then talks about how he left The Rock in a puddle of "his own talentless puke," and challenges him to bring "The People's Balls" down The People's Ramp and enter the dog house, and admits he has one fear that The Rock will like it when he lays him flat on his back. Triple H then says he has told the world, but there is one more person he would like to tell to their face: WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, whom he calls to the ring and commands to "bow to the masters." Vince McMahon shows up, and Triple H to look into his eyes and he knows who DX is and what they are capable of. He tells Vince that this is game, set and match and that they pulled his punk card, and that DX is putting him on notice. Triple H then tells Vince his services are no longer needed, as DX is officially taking over and that they will make the rules and the laws, as he has the boys and the cards to do it. He then tells Vince to take a hike, because he is finished. Vince then takes a microphone and announces of the fans in Springfield, Massachusetts and across the world, he tells DX to suck it. Before the next match, Chris Jericho says that he has heard that Stevie Richards challenged him to a match, and says that he had the chance of a lifetime when he allowed him to be his tag team partner on Monday night. Jericho says he would have won the match against D'Lo Brown and Chyna (the latter of whom he calls a "girl") if Stevie had not tagged himself in and ruined everything, and says that Stevie is trying to make a name for himself by mimicking everyone, and says that Stevie will never, ever have the talent or charisma that he has. He then calls him out, and says he will beat the hell out of him. Chyna's entrance plauys, but it becomes obvious that this Stevie Richards dressed like Chyna. Jericho attacks Stevie from behind before the match begins.

Stevie Richards beats Chyna. During the match, Chyna and Miss Kitty show up, and Chyna pushes Jericho away as he uses the ropes for leverage. After the match, Stevie hugs Chyna, and Chyna punches him out, then Jericho rips the stuffing out of Stevie's outfit.

The Rock is seen coming into the building when he runs into "Road Dogg" Jesse James, who proceeds to fight him. Suddenly, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, X-Pac and Triple H show up and mug The Rock before stuffing him into the trunk of his own car. Road Dogg gets in The Rock's car and drives off in it.

Kevin Kelly interviews D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn). Triple H says DX is taking over, and that is exactly what they are going to do. Billy Gunn says that what they did to The Rock is nothing compared to what they will do to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. X-Pac says D-Generation X is taking over, and that is all there is to it.

The British Bulldog shows up with The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) before the next match.

The British Bulldog beats D'Lo Brown to become the WWF European Champion for a second time. During the match, D'Lo hits The Bulldog with the European Championship, but The Bulldog hits D'Lo with it in return only to get a near-fall. When D'Lo goes for the Lo Down, Pete Gas knocks D'Lo Brown off the top rope, allowing The Bulldog to win the title.

Backstage, X-Pac tells Kane that he is doing D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) on the side, and apologizes for trying to save Kane on Monday, saying it was either him or Tori. He tells Kane that tonight is about revenge against The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley).

"Road Dogg" Jesse James is seen looking for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and tells the garage attendant that The Rock is "on the the other side of the tracks, right where he belongs."

The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat Kane and X-Pac after X-Pac hits Kane with a low blow followed by an X-Factor. Kane gets up and takes the Dudleys out, and is about to choke slam X-Pac when he is attacked from behind by the rest of D-Generation X. After Triple H hits Kane with a Pedigree, X-Pac tells Kane that "his job of carrying [his] big ass is over," says The Undertaker was right to say that he was weak, and says he is not DX material. He says there will be no new member of D-Generation X, as Kane is a piece of crap and he is sick and tired of carrying him.

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry and Viscera - who are accompanied by a few women, two of whom are plus-sized - following the distraction from Terri Runnels. After the match, Viscera commands the women out of the ring, then turns on Mark Henry for costing them the match.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Bill Gunn) formulate a plan of attack against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, saying that they have to attack him before he attacks them.

The Big Boss Man beats Al Snow after rince Albert distracts Snow by striking the steel steps with Boss Man's nightstick and Boss Man attacks Al Snow from behind with the WWF Hardcore Championship behind referee Tim White's back. After the match, Al Snow sarcastically calls Prince Albert and The Big Boss Man beating him "a surprise." He doesn't know if it is the strike to the head or the doctors upping the doses on his medications, but he, being the grizzled veteran that he is, feels he has let the youth of the sport down as Prince Albert as he wasn't even physically involved in the match and he feels bad. Snow then proposes that since The Big Boss Man has the WWF Hardcore Championship and he is the crown prince of hardcore, that Prince Albert and Boss Man meet him in the parking lot for a hardcore match before leaving through the crowd.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James is seen with his left leg caught in a bear trap. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin pours beer on the trapped leg as Road Dogg screams in pain.

EMTs are seen prying the bear trap off "Road Dogg" Jesse James' leg.

Prince Albert and The Big Boss Man are seen in the parking lot, and they wait in their car. All of a sudden, a forklift hits the driver's side of their car, and we find out that the forklift is being commandeered by Big Show, who proceeds to destroy the car using his own fists and feet with Boss Man and Prince Albert trapped inside. Big Show then climbs up and topples a garbage dumpster on top of the car, crushing Boss Man and Albert inside.

Mankind is seen backstage.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn is seen hanging upside-down after being caught in a snare. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up and proceeds to splash beer on him.

Before the next match, Val Venis tells Mankind that as he stands in the middle of the ring, he knows exactly what he is thinking, and that Mankind is thinking that he wants respect for his in-ring ability, his out-of-ring ability and his literary arts. As Have A Nice Day! is set to be in the Top 10 of The New York Times' best-seller list and Mankind demands respect, and he will strut his stroll and gyrate his way down to the ring, look into his eye, and reinforce the idea that he is exactly what he is: the single-fastest up-and-coming athlete in the history of the World Wrestling Federation.

Mankind beats Val Venis by pinfall with the Mandible Claw. During the match, it is announced that "The Jaws of Life" are being used to free The Big Boss Man and Prince Albert from inside the car that they are trapped in, and that they are being placed in an ambulance. Later on in the match, Mankind cannot find Mr. Socko, and after Mankind avoids the Money Shot, Al Snow runs in with Mr. Socko, hands it to Mankind, and Mankind pins Val Venis' shoulders to the mat with the Mandible Claw.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) try to regroup in the locker room. All of a sudden, X-Pac gets a call on his cellular phone, and it is from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin asks X-Pac if he listens to the roadio and if he listens to Casey Kasem, and says he has a message from him: "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars, As soon as X-Pac looks up at the ceiling, a ceiling tile falls on him, knocking him out. The rest of DX is livid.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up. Triple H tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin this is it, and if they want to play games and spring traps on them, he shoud know he is "the game." Triple H says DX stands in the ring united, and that they have sent The Rock packing to destination unknown and that Kane is off licking his wounds somewhere, and now Austin is next. Triple H says he knows the kind of man that Austin is, and calls him a coward who does not have the courage to face DX like a man and always has to hit them with a cheap shot. As soon as Triple H says Austin could be under the ring, DX looks under the ring. Triple H then says Austin is somewhere in the ring, and decides to give him a fighting chance to be a man and walk into the ring with D-Gneeration X so they can end this once and for all. He gives Austin the count of ten, and if he does not show up, they will head backstage, beat his ass, drag him to the ring, and show what kind of coward he is. Triple H then counts to ten, then calls Austin a "puss." As soon as DX are about to leave, Austin's music hits and Austin shows up. He says he has been sitting in the back listening to triple H, and he does not care at all about D-Generation X. He says that DX will not be taking over the WWF, and says he laid a bear trap thinking he would catch a bear only to catch a jackass. He also says that "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn should be named "Dumbass" Billy Gunn for falling for the snare trap, and tells X-Pac that the only thing that he likes about him is his name, since it sounds like a six-pack, but he is so stupid that when when he gave him the Casey Kasem line, he looked up at the ceiling and it fell on him. As for Triple H, he does not impress him one bit, and he asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they want him to come into the ring and whup his ass. Austin heads to the ring, then asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they think DX sucks. Suddenly, a net falls on DX. It takes them a while to get out, with Triple H getting out first, and as soon as DX gets out of the next, Kane shows up and fights DX with Austin. Suddenly, The Rock shows up and also fights DX. The show ends with Austin, Kane and The Rock cleaning house.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for October 25, 1999

Sting, without his usual facepaint and dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, is backstage looking for WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon, and throwing things around as he does.

Sting shows up, still in the white T-shirt and blue jeans. He says that his message is for WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon, as he has heard things in the back that he does not like and that Dillon will not like, either. He only agreed to a fight, and nothing more, and demands Dillon make his way to the ring before he comes back to the back after him. Dillon shows up, and Sting says that he faced Goldberg to bail WCW out of a bad situation after his match with Hulk Hogan. However, he never said anything about the WCW World Heavyweight Championship being on the line. He demands that the WCW World Heavyweight Championship be returned back to him. Dillon tells Sting he is absolutely right, and that the match was not sanctioned. Goldberg is not the World Heavyweight Champion, but neither is Sting, as Sting has been stripped of the title after attacking referee Charles Robinson last night as per the WCW Championship Committee. Dillon also announces a 32-man tournament to decide the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and that Sting is one of the 32 men. Dillon tells Sting he is only the messenger, and Sting asks him to send the committee a message by attacking him and putting him in the Scorpion Death Lock. Goldberg runs in and pushes Sting off of Dillon before both he and Sting brawl. Security eventually runs into the ring to separate both men.

Eight of the matches in the 32 man tournament are announced and are as follows: Bret "The Hit Man" Hart vs. Goldberg, Perry Saturn vs. Eddie Guerrero, Norman Smiley vs. Bam Bam Bigelow, and Kidman vs. Konnan. These four matches are part of what is called "Group 1." There is also a "Group 2" with The Total Package vs. Rick Steiner, Diamond Dallas Page vs. David Flair, a mystery opponent vs. Madusa, and Brian Knobbs vs. Sting.

It is announced that The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) are wrestling tonight, and we see footage from earlier today where The Outsiders do not have their wrestling gear with them do not care if they are wrestling tonight when told such by a production assistant as the pull a cooler full of bear out of their vehicle.

Mike Tenay interviews Norman Smiley, who says that last week's match was amusing to him, but tonight's match is his chance to show he is a scientific, technical wrestler. Bam Bam Bigelow may be tough, but he is tougher than a two-dollar steak, and Bam Bam Bigelow will fall just like all the rest to the Big Wiggle, as he is the toughest wrestler in WCW.

Before the next match, Bam Bam Bigelow brings in a cart full of weapons, and Bigelow says that since Normal Smiley says he is a scientific, technical wrestle, he has decided to scientifically challenge him to a Hardcore Match.

In the Mayhem Match of the Week, Norman Smiley beats Bam Bam Bigelow in a hardcore match to continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament after accidentally running into Bigelow and landing on his crotch while an aluminum trash can is still on his head.

Mike Tenay interviews The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall). Kevin Nash insists he is retired, and Scott Hall says that he and Nash are waiting until the top of the hour to respond and that while he has a ton of bosses, Mike Graham is not one of them.

The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero, Torrie Wilson) show up. Eddie takes the microphone and says that no matter how many times they are booked against each other, they will never beak up as they are family, and they are lewd, loud and The Filthy Animals. At Halloween Havoc, they came, they saw and they kicked "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's ass. Kidman says if you do not believe them, all they have to do is watch the Kid Cam footage. We see footage of The Filthy Animals taking Flair out to thhe middle of the desert and kick dirt all over him after they drove the ambulance out of the arena. Konnan throws some watter at him from a water bottle, then they leave him on the ground. Kidman then says that Ric Flair will not be coming back, and Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) are next and that they will learn just how bad The Filthy Animals are, as they have no remose or respect and they don't care. Rey Mysterio Jr. takes the microphone before Kidman can say a cuss word, and asks for a chance for The Filthy Animals, because when given the opportunity, they will hump the opposition like the dogs they are. Konnan says that when The Filthy Animals are in heat, somebody is fresh meat. Suddenly, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn show up with metal objects and attack THe Filthy Animals while Torrie Wilson slowly back her way towards the stage. All of a sudden, she backs into Shane Douglas and Asya, the latter of whom has not been seen in months. Asya grabs Torrie Wilson from behind and carries her to the back while Shane Douglas follows.

Mike Tenay interviews Curt Hennig. Hennig says the powers that be are phasing out the older guys in favor of younger talent, and that he has been "put on the bubble" and has been told that if he gets pinned again, he will be fired. Hennig states he will hang the wrestling boots up on his own terms. All he needs to get on top is a reason, and now he has one.

The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) have some coffee as they talk about their match. Nash says that the censors had better have their fingers on the button when they make their way into the ring. Scott Hall complains that the coffee does not taste nearly as good as the beer in their cooler.

Lash LaRoux beats Curt Henning by disqualification after Hennig punches referee Mickey Jay as Lash LaRoux lifts Hennig on his shoulders. Disco Inferno guests on commentary during the match and compliments Lash LaRoux on giving him a better fight than he expected. After the match, Hennig attacks LaRoux with a steel chair, and when Disco checks on LaRoux, he gets smacked with it as well.

The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) are running backstage after Shane Douglas and Asya with metal pipes in their hands.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is seen hobbling his way into the building, while Goldberg gets ready for his match with Bret in the locker room.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund is in the ring with The Nitro Girls. We are introduced to Lauren and Danielle, the finalists from Phoenix, Arizona, who are already on the stage. Votes can pick who moves on at WCW.com. All of a sudden, Jeff Jarrett shows up with a guitar in his hand, and tells everyone to get out of the ring and grabs the microphone, threatening to "stroke" everyone if they do not get out. Jarrett says that the tournament for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is not coincidental and that it is all a big plan, as he is the next WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He tells the fans they can bet all their stock options on that one, as he is the chosen one and there is not a damn thing anyone can do about it, including Buff Bagwell and The Total Pacakage. He says that The Total Package had better be ready to apologize, as he did not take out Miss Elizabeth and does not like being acces of anything. If The Total Package has a problem with him, then he should take it up with the new powers that be.

We see Mike Tenay interview Sid Vicious after Halloween Havoc. Sid says his match with Goldberg was a battle, but the war is far from over, and he promises that when Goldberg least expects it, he will be back.

Before the next match, Perry Saturn tells The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman) that if they lay a hand on him, they can kiss Torrie Wilson goodbye. He wants his match to be just him and Eddie. Eddie attacks Saturn from behind to start their match.

Perry Saturn beats Eddie Guerrero with the Rings of Saturn to continue to the nest round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament after David Flair shows up and whacks Eddie with a crowbar. After the match, Saturn flees through the crowd and the rest of The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman) return and chase after him.

Backstage, Kevin Nash tells Scott Hall he has a plan that he calls "the Jim Morrison plan." If they shut the show down, there will be no match, and he will get naked if he has to.

WCW Tuff Talkin' Wrestlers are now available.

Backstage, Shane Douglas tells Torrie Wilson that if The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) think they can mess with The Revolution (Douglas, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko), they have another thing coming as they are messing with the wrong people. Malenko heads to the bathroom and is immediately attacked with a steel chair by "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit. Benotit locks the door from the outside so that The Revolution can't get involved as he continues to attack Malenko.

The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) show up. Scott Hall says "the new bosses we got from up north" cannot seem to have a wrestling show without them, and even though they have been partying all night in Las Vegas, they don't miss any parties, especially in Kevin Nash's hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. He then says Nash has a message for all the big shots at TNT. Nash says that nobody tells The Outsiders what to do, and that they have made the rules since they walked into WCW. Before he can go any further, Goldberg shows up in the crowd and says that if The Outsiders want to screw with him and jump him when his back is turned, then he hopes they have eyes in the back of their heads as they are both next.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage and Gorgeous George show up for the first time in months dressed in all-red sequined outfits. Savage says it has been a while, but he and Gorgeous George are in the house. As for all the vultures in the back who hoped he would hang hinmself on national television and make a fool of himself, that is not happening. However, they are right about one thing: he is well-hung. He tells the locker room not to hunt what they cannot kill as they cannot kill him or the madness. He says he cannot be punked out like Hulk Hogan or "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and that he "ain't no punk bitch." He says the yellow and the red has played itself out, and so has Space Mountain, but everybody knows he has game, he is on hit and he is definitely legit. Saage says he has been better than the best for a long period of time, and he has too much money to be punked out. He has won world titles in both WWF and WCW, and tonight is the time that he passes the torch to the next superstar who will go through the millennium and be better than even he was. That person is not only going to win world titles, but have record-breaking ratings. He says WCW needs him, not the other way around, and he and Gorgeous George are leaving the building.

The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr. Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) find where Torrie Wilson is held, but she and The Revolution (Shane Douglas, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko) are nowhere to be found.

Medusa is seen backstage saying "I'm sick of this crap" before heading out to the ring.

In a dressing room Shane Douglas and Perry Saturn try to calm Dean Malenko dwon. Doulgas says Benoit will pay and that tonight is the night for Benoit, but Malenko feels differently.

Madusa finds out that her opponent is Meng.

Meng beats Madusa by pinfall with the Tongan Death Grip to continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship despite Madusa's best efforts. After the match, Evan Karagias runs in and checks on Madusa, then helps her up and helps her to the back. Suddenly, Dean Malenko shows up with a microphone and calls out "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit, saying that if he thinks he has his attention and wants to even the score from last night, then he is ready. He makes it a little more interesting by challenging Benoit to a Last Man Standing Match, and hopes he accepts.

Backstage, The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) talk about Goldberg, saying they are not afraid of him, and say that whoever they send against them are going to get licked.

Curt Hennig is seen talking to Brad Armstrong in the locker room, and Armstrong tells him he has been told not to come back until he has found a personality.

Backstage, a member of WCW medical checks on Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's foot, which is indeed injured.

The Total Package beats Rick Steiner by count-out to continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Shortly after the match begins, Jeff Jarrett shows up with a guitar in his hand and guests on commentary for the next match, demanding a total apology from The Total Package, saying he has no reason to hit a woman. Tony Schiavone asks Jarrett if he thinks he ell off the turnip truck and mentioned his misogynist gimmick from the WWF. Jarrett responds by saying this is not the WWF, and proceeds to try to apologize to Miss Elizabeth. Both Rick Steiner and The Total Package approach Jarrett, and Jarrett swings his guitar trying to hit The Total Package only for Jarrett to nail Rick Steiner with the guitar. Rick Steiner heads to the back while The Total Package checks on Miss Elizabeth. When he realizes that the ten-count is almost over, he runs into the ring to get the win by count-out, much to the irritation of Miss Elizabeth.

Mike Tenay interviews Kidman and Konnan. Konnan takes the microphone and says he is no mood to talk about anything else after what happened to Torrie Wilson. He then goes to say that it is strictly business between him and Kidman tonight. Kidman tells Tenay that if The Revolution (Shane Douglas, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko) touches one hair on the head of Torrie Wilson, he will personally end all of their careers.

Buff Bagwell is seen making his way into the building.

"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit is seen taping his fists up for his Last Man Standing Match with Dean Malenko in the locker room.

Kidman beats Konnan to continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament. During the match, Kidman runs into referee Billy Silverman, then Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) run in and beat both Kidman and Konnan up. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio Jr. run in as Harlem Heat try to leave, and they brawl with Harlem Heat. Kidman rolls over to Konnan and pins him. After the match, Kidman and Konnan have to be separated by Rey and Eddie, and Eddie has to tell them that the fight is out there, not within The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey, Kidman, Eddie). Konnan gets his priorities straight and tells Kidman that they have to find Torrie and tells Harlem Heat that they have to be crazy to run up on them. He dares Harlem Heat to put the WCW World Tag Team Championshpis on the line tonight.

Buff Bagwell is seen heading towards the ring.

Backstage, The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) try to ponder who they will be up against in their match tonight.

Buff Bagwell shows up. He says the reason he is here tonight is to break all the rules. Buff says he will take every little thing that has been sacred in the business and relieve himself all over it, and that he will not do a "job" for anybody ever again. Buff says he lays down for anyone, and if you mess with Buff, you get the stuff. Nobody is telling him what to do ever again, especially "the two idiots in the back writing this crap." ALl of a sudden, two bald men in black suits wearing sunglasses show up, and they are more or less identical twins. They say they represent "the two idiots in the back writing this crap," then proceed to assault Buff.

"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit barely beats Dean Malenko in a Last Man Standing Match. After the match, The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) run into the ring, and Benoit steps out of their way so they can attack Malenko. Shane Douglas shows up with Perry Saturn, Torrie Wilson and Asya, asking The Filthy Animals if they are looking for somebody, then they had better take stand their ground and not take another step. Douglas tells them to take a step back and lay off Malenko or else Asya will take Torrie out. Malenko is allowed to head back to the stage where The Revolution (Douglas, Malenko, Saturn) is, and Douglas tells them to stay where they are if they want Torrie back. The Filthy Animals start to chase after them, but Douglas tells them to stay there. Neverthleess, they cahse after them anyway.

The Revolution (Shane Douglas, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn) and Asya escape with Torrie Wilson in a Cadillac. The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) try to chase after them, but they are too fast. Eddie tells Kidman and Konnan to get the WCW World Tag Team Championships from Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) while he and Rey get Torrie back. Rey and Eddie get in a Cadillac of their own and chase after The Revolution.

Sting beats Brian Knobbs in mere seconds by hitting him with his baseball bat behind referee Nick Patrick's back to continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. During the short match, it is announced that Sting has been fined $10,000 for his attack on referee Charles Robinson at Halloween Havoc.

Mike Tenay interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, who has a hairline fracture on his ankle. Bret says if it were not for bad luck, he would not have luck at all, and while he is frustrated with his injury, he is not a quitter, and even though he has a small ray of hope, he will take any chance he gets to become WCW World Heavyweight Champion, even if he has to face Goldberg and suffer the consequences for it tonight. He plans to give Goldberg a fight he will never forget, and hope that he can get from one match to the next to become World champion like he has always wanted.

The Filthy Animals (Konnan and Kidman) beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) to become the WCW World Tag Team Championships just 24 hours after Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr. lost the belts to them, ending Harlem Heat's record-setting tenth tag title reign after one day. This happens after Kidman and Stevie Ray have their shoulders down and Kidman bridged his shoulders up at the last second.

Mike Tenay interviews Goldberg. Goldberg says rage and brutality has always been inside him, but it took a man like Sid Vicious to bring it out. As far as Bret "The Hit Man" Hart goes, he has all the respect in the world for him, but he does not fear him. He knows he is going into their match at less than 100%, but in his eyes, that makes him a little more dangerous. As for The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) he doesn't make threats, he makes promises, and they are next.

Kimberly introduces Diamond Dallas Page before the next match. DDP then tells David Flair to get his "rat bastard booty" out to the ring so he can beat him like he did "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. When David Flair shows up, DDP kisses him, then David takes off his robe and pulls out a crowbar from behind his pants and attacks DDP, knocking him into Kimberly who in turn knocks down referee Charles Robinson. After a few more strikes with the crowbar, David Flair leaves. EMTs have to come to the ring and put DDP on a stretcher and take him to the back. Neither DDP or David Flair continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament.

The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) are in the ring with two female wrestlers. The match ends up being a complete farce, with one of the women shoving Hall's face in her breasts and spanking him before tagging the other woman in. The other woman is not even dressed for a wrestling match, and Hall tags Nash in before a third woman with giant breasts shows up and tells him to lay down so that the two women can make the pin. Kevin lays down in the middle of the ring, as does Hall, and the women win. The woman with the huge bust teases exposing her breasts, but Goldberg runs in to the ring before that can happen and he hits Hall with a Spear before doing the same to Nash.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beats Goldberg to continue to the next round of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament and become the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion for the fourth time. During the match, Goldberg sends Bret into referee Mickey Jay with a snap mare takeover, then The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) and Sid Vicious attack Goldberg after Goldberg tosses Bret out of the ring. The beatdown ends with Sid Vicious powerbombing Goldberg, and Hart slowly rolls back into the ring to pin Goldberg, giving Goldberg his second loss, continue in the tournament and win the United States title.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 25, 1999

RAW

The show starts with The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) demanding WWF Chairman Vince McMahon to put them in a match against The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) for the WWF Tag Team Championships. Vince tells them that Edge and Christian have a title shot tonight, but they want them out of the match and want in tonight's title match. Nevertheless, they ask for two other opponents tonight. Mankind and The Rock are out due to Mankind challenging Triple H for the WWF Championship tonight. Triple H storms in and confronts Vince over tonight's title match, and The New Age Outlaws say Triple H is scared. Triple H tells them to shut up, and in an attempt to make them shut up after Road Dogg says he isn't shutting up, Triple H proposes that The New Age Outlaws face The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, since Austin is nowhere on tonight's show. The New Age Outlaws are up to the challenge, and Vince tells them they've got it.

The Godfather looks for his hos backstage, thinking they are with "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry. He finds Mark, telling him it time to go to work, and has to kick the door open to get him and the hos to come to the ring, telling Henry he can't have the hos 24/7.

Before the next match, Viscera says that while Mideon likes farm animals, he likes - and wants - The Godfather's hos, and proposes a "winner takes all" match. Viscera then tells "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry that when he wins the match with him, he can have them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Viscera beats The Godfather to get all the hos after "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry drags The Godfather to the floor from behind in the corner. Mideon gets ejected from the match early on by referee Tim White for getting on the apron and choking The Godfather from behind in the corner. After the match, Mark Henry hits The Godfather with a splash. Viscera and Mark Henry then command the hos to go to the back. Meanwhile, a few hos are still in the ring checking on The Godfather, and Viscera commands them to go to the back. When they refuse, one of them gets kicked to the mat and splashed along with The Godfather, then the other one leaps on Viscera to put him in a sleeper hold only to be pushed off and slammed into the canvas. EMTs have to check on the two remaining hos

Michael Cole interviews The Rock. For the last two weeks, he and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin have been playing oneupsmanship, and that he has sent chill bumps up Austin's arms. At Survivor Series, they will both face Triple H in a Triple Threat Match one more time for the WWF Championship. Tonight, however, Austin is his tag team partner, and they have to put everything outside and face The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn). He has no problem with this, but since he is in "The People's Ring," he will be surrounded by the millions of his fans as they will let The Rock know he will forever be The People's Champ.

As The Godfather and his two loyal hos are in the ambulance, The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) laugh about it, but Buh Buh Ray says it will not be as funny as what he will do to Kane tonight.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) vs Edge and Christian for the WWF Tag Team Championships ends when two men dressed like rappers show up and attack Edge and Christian. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and Terri Runnels are seen watching the match on a monitor backstage. The two "rappers" are identified as Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) after The Hardy Boyz show up and attack Too Much, helping Edge and Christian get them out of the ring.

Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah are seen making up with each other backstage.

A steel cage can be seen hanging above the ring. Michael Cole interviews Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah in the ring. Mae Young thanks Moolah for being the oldest person she has ever wrestled, and says that this is not a slight against her. Moolah thanks all the fans who have supported her; however, at her age, she cannot defend the WWF Women's Championship as it should be defended. She will give the WWF Women's Championship back and officially retire. Suddenly, Ivory shows up with a broom in her room, and says there are two witches in the room before telling Moolah she found her ride in the handicapped spot and proceeds to raise the broom up. Ivory reminds Moolah that she has a rematch clause, and Mae Young confronts Ivory only to be kicked in the gut before having the broom broken on her back. Moolah fights Ivory, and this starts a match.

Ivory beats The Fabulous Moolah to become the WWF Women's Champion. After the match, Ivory pushes Mae Young off the apron and stomps her a few times.

Prince Albert is seen talking to Big Show, and challenges him to a match to see how bad he really is, and reminds him that he is not The Big Boss Man.

WWF 3-D Attitude...coming November 23rd! (The advertisement is for a 3D edition of WWF Magazine.)

Survivor Series will be live on pay-per-view on November 14th!

Big Show vs. Prince Albert ends in a no-contest. During the match, The Big Boss Man shows up and tells Big Show that he has something that belongs to him, his father and his father's father. Last night, he made a trip to the hospital to see how badly his father was doing, and says the stench of death was in the air. All he saw in the bed was a puny old man waiting to die, and he pulled the plug on him. Before he left, he saw him clutching a pocket watch in his hand, and he took it. As he talks, he threatens to destroy the watch if Big Show ges any closer. Prince Albert attacks Big Show from behind, then Big Boss Man hits Big Show in the head with a hammer. He then proceeds to destory the pocket watch with a hammer on an anvil brought in by two stage hands.

Chris Jericho says he feels horrible for Big Show, but he feels worse for Chyna as he will expose her as a cowardly disgrace of a champion who has no more right to be in the ring with him than a common fan. He tells Chyna to bring D'Lo Brown out as her tag team partner, and he will bring a common fan into the ring, and they will embarrass her and prove she will never be in the same league as him.

Backstage, Big Show hunts down The Big Boss Man.

Before the next match, Chris Jericho picks a female fan out of the audience, but this person looks suspiciously like a man in woman's clothing.

Chyna and D-Lo Brown beats Chris Jericho and the random female fan, who is revealed to be none other than Stevie Richards dressed as a woman as Chyna beats him up. After the match, Jericho beats up Stevie Richards with two powerbombs followed by the Walls of Jericho.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon is reading Mankind's autobiography when Mankind shows up and thanks him for the shot at the WWF Championship. When Vince asks him about his facial expressions - save for "the bobbing Adam's apple at the time of fear" - being the best in the business, Mankind tells Vince that he makes it happen, as his own face is covered up most of the time.

WAR ZONE

Mankind beats Triple H by disqualification. The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin are seen watching the match on a monitor backstage in separate areas. Later on in the match, Triple H grabs a steel chair, but Mankind kicks into his face as he runs towards him in the corner. As Triple H and referee Mike Chioda play tug-of-war with the chair, Mankind grabs the WWF Championship. Chioda takes the steel chair away, but Mankind hits Triple H with the WWF Championship behind Chioda's back. After a near-fall, Mankind locks in the Mandible Claw, but Val Venis runs in with a steelc chair and hits Mankind in the back with it, ending the match. Al Snow runs in, and he and Mankind take Venis down. Triple H retains the WWF Championship.

Michael Cole interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin says nobody sends chill bumps down his arms, and that he and The Rock will be facing Triple H for the WWF Championship in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series. As far as tonight goes, he has no problems, but he is not friends with The Rock and he will slap The People's Eyebrow off of him if he does not do his part.

Michael Hayes interviews WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon, who announces that she is nearly 100% and is starting to get a lot of her memories and feelings for Test back. She hopes that Test beats an apology out of The British Bulldog as Test is seen talking with WWF co-owner Shane McMahon.

Kevin Kelly interviews Kane and X-Pac. Kane says that Tori told him not to make fun of Buh Buh Ray Dudley, and as he almost mocks Buh Buh Ray's speech impediment before reaching for his autolarynx, he tells X-Pac to promise him he will stay out of the match no matter what. X-Pac tells him that if he wants to do this himself, he understands more than anybody. All of a sudden, Kane and X-Pac are assaulted by The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley).

Before the next match, The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) show up with Kane's autolarynx. Buh Buh Ray proceeds to mock how Kane's speech patterns before bragging about stealing the autolarynx. D-Von Dudley says Kane should have learned not to mess with them early on.

Kane beats Buh Buh Ray Dudley by disqualification after D-Von Dudley interferes. X-Pac is seen watching the match on a monitor backstage. After the match, X-Pac stands by as Kane is double-teamed, and Tori tells him to get out there and help Kane, as he is his best friend. Tori also tells him that if he does not get out there, she will. X-Pac runs to the ring after a double team.

Kevin Kelly interviews The British Bulldog. Bulldog finds it funny that WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon is regaining her memory, as Test won't be able to remember anything after he gets through smashing his head into the steel cage over and over again.

The British Bulldog vs. Test in a Steel Cage Match ends in a no-contest. As Test climbs to the top of the cage, The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) climb over the guardrail and cut the lock to the cage door with bolt cutters. After Test hits Bulldog with an elbow from the top of the cage, The Posse go on the attack, and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon fights The Posse off single-handedly. Bulldog gets out of the cage as Test lays in the corner and The Posse continue to attack Shane. Rodney and Pete Gas are able to leave the cage, but Test grabs Joey Cage and boots him in the face before tossing him out. The Posse then slam the cage dooro nthe skull of Test, then limp away to the back. Afterwards, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon shows up and checks on Shane.

Triple H and The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) argue with each other at the locker room entrance. Meanwhile, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) head to "The Friendly Tap" for a beer. All of a sudden, two men recognize them and offer to buy them a drink, but they refuse to take no for an answer and one of them challenges them to an arm wrestling match. After some money is laid on the table, the challenge is accepted and Bradshaw wins immediately. The other guy accuses them of cheating, and calls Faarooq a "darkie," saying he can't count right and that "he's a good boy." The two locals continue to be racist towards Faarooq, and this starts a nasty bar room brawl where The Acolytes come out on top after they annihilate not only the two locals but anyone else who wants to step up. The Acolytes leave as the manager calls 911. (The Friendly Tap is a bar owned by referee Tim White, who is proprietor of the bar at the time and would be for years.)

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beat The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. During the match, Triple H runs in, but Austin notices him and keeps him out of the ring, and brawls with him to the stage, leaving The Rock without a tag team partner. As The Rock fights off The Outlaws on his own, X-Pac runs into the ring and hits The Rock with a spinning heel kick and allowing The New Age Outlaws the win. After the match, Austin runs back into the ring, and Triple H goes in after him. Triple H, X-Pac and The New Age Outlaws then outnumber Austin and The Rock and take the boots to them. All four men then put on D-Generation X jerseys and celebrate, as D-Generation X has now gotten back together.

Halloween Havoc 1999 - The Results

It is announced that Rey Mysterio Jr. has suffered a leg injury and will not be able to compete tonight; as a result, Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr. have been stripped of the WCW World Tag Team Championships. A six-man, three-team Street Fight between Konnan and Kidman of The Filthy Animals, The First Family and Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) has been made to decide new tag team champions.

Disco Inferno retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Lash LaRoux. After the match, LaRoux slams Disco Inferno's back into the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

We see footage from earlier today where "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko meet Perry Saturn on their way into the building. Malenko tells Saturn to take The Revolution and stick it up his ass, and Benoit tells Saturn to relay the message to Shane Douglas.

Mike Tenay interviews Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray). Booker T says survival is nothing new to him and Stevie Ray, as they have fought on the street. Tonight will just be like old times and it will not be long before they take the tag titles back. Stevie Ray says their opposition is in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they will put The Filthy Animals (Konnan and Kidman) and The First Family out of their misery as tonight is their night.

The Filthy Animals (Konnan and Kidman) are seen wearing the WCW World Tag Team Championships - despite being stripped of them - before the match, and Kidman records the entrance and the audience with a camcorder.

Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) beat The First Family (Brian Knobbs and Hugh Morrus) and The Filthy Animals (Konnan and Kidman) in a Street Fight with two referees after Harlem Heat get a pin on Brian Knobbs. In the ring, Konnan and Kidman get a pin on Hugh Morrus, but the pin backstage took place before the pin in the ring; therefore, Harlem Heat win the WCW World Tag Team Championships for a tenth time. Danny Young and WCW medical staff help Konnan to the back after it is realized that Konnan has dislocated his right shoulder during the match, and Harlem Heat run into Rey Mysterio Jr. and Torrie Wilson on their way to the back.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and David Flair make their way into the building, with Ric carrying a crow bar in his hands.

Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly show up. Kimberly mentions that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has took his hand and slapped it on her butt, but she has some news for him. When she and DDP are together - intimately speaking - she considers a 14-time spanking as just a warm-up, because when Page does it, "it's a good, good thing," and when Ric Flair does it, "it's a bad, bad thing." Page says he loves Kimberly, he hates Ric Flair and that Ric will never forget her. He mentions Kimberly inviting David Flair to her hotel room and having Ric fill his shoes; either way, a boy is sent to do a man's job, as Ric Flair was in the room with her and all he could think about was "spanking it 14 times." He asks Ric if he likes to spank it, then says "Of course, yoku do." He then tells Page he's got his spank "right here," and pulls a leather strap out from underneath his shirt, and if Ric Flair wants to spank it, they'll whack it and jack it all night long. He then challenges Ric Flair to a Strap Match, and tells him to take the strap and whack it all night long, as he can bet his ass he will be whacking him.

Goldberg heads towards the locker room on his way into the locker room as he looks for Sid Vicious.

Mike Tenay interviews Eddie Guerrero, who is with Kidman and Torrie Wilson, and it is announced that members of both The Revolution and The Filthy Animals have been barred from ringside. Kidman calls this a load of crap, but says he and Torrie will be watching from the back. As far as Konnan is concerned, Eddie says Konnan is heading to the hospital and that he should call him to make sure everything is okay. When asked about the Rolex on his left wrist belonging to "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero asks Mike Tenay if he is calling him a thief, but lets it slide. Eddie says that despite the rest of his teammates being banned from ringside, the match will be no sweat, as every revolution must come to an end and it is Perry Saturn's end tonight.

Eddie Guerrero beats Perry Saturn by disqualification. During the match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up and stomps on Eddie, ending the match before Flair takes the crowbar to him. Kidman shows up only to get a crowbar in the gut and the back. Torrie Wilson runs in to shield Kidman, but Flair pulls her off and threatens to hit her with the crowbar before dropping it, dancing around and kissing her. Torrie is immediately turned on before Flair almost heads back to the back before running back towards the ring and takes his Rolex watch back.

Backstage, Goldberg is seen beating up Sid Vicious. WCW security pull both men apart as it is revealed that Sid Vicious is bleeding from his forehead.

Buff Bagwell shows up. Last Monday night, he had a little problem with "the two new writers from up North that are going to save WCW," but they are nothing compared to Jeff Jarrett swinging a guitar at his head. If Jeff Jarrett wants to talk about stroke, then stroke is making it to Las Vegas, Nevada and being off the show and just making it happen, because he is Buff and he is the stuff. Wit that said, he calls out Jarrett, telling him to bring his "hillbilly Tennessee ass" out here so he can shove his foot up it. It does not take long for Jarrett to run in with his guitar, and Buff sends him out of the ring before the two men brawl at ringside. When both men return to the ring, The Total Package shows up, grabs Jarrett's guitar and smacks Buff with it when Jarrett ducks. Luger then breaks the guitar over the top turnbuckle, then heads to the back after Jarrett.

As Sid Vicious pushes a doctor - and Mike Tenay - away, telling them to let his head bleed, Eddie Guerrero tries to call Rey, telling him to come back to the arena to take care of group business.

Brad Armstrong beats Berlyn after Armstrong grabs the top rope to counter Berlyn's reverse neckbreaker. It is announced during the match that Eleanor Knott of Long Beach, California and Tina Storinello of Beaverton, Michigan are in the crowd after winning the WCW Mastercard Pay With Power Sweepstakes, and have both won four tickets to tonight's show, hotel accommodations and travel. To apply for a WCW Mastercard, simply call 1-800-WCW-CARD. After the match, Berlyn's bodyguard attacks Armtrong from behind before Berlyn puts Armstrong in a Camel Clutch with a knee to the back.

Mike Tenay interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Last week, he walked down the aisle looking only like he can look, and The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr., Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) walked out thinking they were ready for the big time. Tonight, he came back, took back his Rolex and took back his legacy. If they don't like it, he'll be here all night and they can come and find him, as they don't get to be at his level by not being ready for anybody at any time. As for Diamond Dallas Page, two of the best are strapped to each other, and last Monday night, when he got done spanking Kimberly, she looked back at him and called his name before saying she has never been spanked like that before and that her father should have spanked her like that a long time ago. Tonight, Torrie Wilson got a taste of what he is all about, too. When he is done with DDP, Kimberly will get a taste of him one more time.

Rick Steiner beats "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit to become the WCW World Television Champion! During the match, Rick Steiner whips Chris Benoit into referee Mark Johnson in the corner. Rick tries to use a chair, but Ben oit ends up using it against him. He lays the chair on Rick, but Rick throws it at him as he comes down for a top rope headbutt. Dean Malenko shows up and grabs the chair, then beans Chris Benoit in the head with it and brings referee Mark Johnson into the ring to make the count. After the match, Dean Malenko huts Perry Saturn in the aisle.

Mike Tenay interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. Hart says this is not the first time he has wrestled hurt and he is taking his match with The Total Package one step at a time. He says the fans are behind him and that The Total Package has tried every week to put him away, and though he may have cost him the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, he will be excellently executed by the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.

The Total Package beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart with a half crab after Bret hurts his leg tumbling out of the ring along with The Total Package.

Mike Tenay interviews Goldberg, who says he is paid to get kick people's asses, and when he gets in the ring with Sid Vicious, he will separate his head from the rest of his body.

Madusa comes out with a bottle of the new WCW Nitro cologne while dressed in a bikini before the next match. He then approaches the commentary table and asks Tony Schiavone and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan if they like the cologne, then asks if they think she enjoys doing this before telling them to tell Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara that doing this is "absolutely bullshit." She then empties the bottle of cologne all over Heenan.

Hulk Hogan's music plays for a few minutes without Hogan coming out, then Sting comes out to his music. Hulk Hogan's music plays again, and but he is not in the yellow and red; instead, he is wearinga black bandana, an unbuttoned black vest, blue jeans and black boots. Hogan talks to Sting, then lays down in the middle of the ring. Sting pins Hogan, and Nick Patrick makes the three count. Sting reains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Hulk Hogan, who immediately walks away.

Goldberg is from behind by The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) before the next match.

Goldberg beats Sid Vicious by referee stoppage due to Sid Vicious losing too much blood, and Goldberg becomes the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. After the match, Sid Vicious continues to get to his feet, and Rick Steiner gets in the ring to help him to the back. Sid Vicious tries to head back to the ring, but Rick Steiner coaxes him to return to the back.

Sting shows up. He says he did not come to Las Vegas, Nevada for a night off; he came to Las Vegas for a fight. He announces he will wait for anybody backstage to show up for a fight.

Diamond Dallas Page beats "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in a Strap Match after Ric is out cold from being choked with the leather strap prior to the Diamond Cutter. After the match, DDP hits referee Charles Robinson with a Diamond Cutter, and David Flair runs in with a crowbar only for Kimberly to kick him in the groin and give the crowbar to DDP, who proceeds to whack Ric with it in the groin. DDP then attacks David Flair and eventually hits him with a Diamond Cutter. EMTs show up and put Ric on a stretcher as David Flair is seen crying. When Ric Flair is taken to the back to the ambulance, the EMTs are attacked by The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) while Torrie Wilson videotapes everything on a camcorder. Konnan joins in on the attack despite his left arm being in a sling. The three members of The Filthy Animals as well as Rey Mysterio Jr. then throw Ric Flair in the ambulance before hijacking it.

Sting shows up. He says it is showtime, and asks who it is going to be. The open challenge is answered by Goldberg. Before the match, it is announced that the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is not on the line. Charles Robinson runs back in to referee the match.

Goldberg beats Sting in an unsanctioned match. Despite the match not being for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, Goldberg wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship anyway. Sting has a word with referee Charles Robinson after the match, telling him that he never agreed on defending the title. When Robinson turns around, Sting puts him in the Scorpion Death Drop.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for October 22, 1999

Before the next match, "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner introduces Mike Awesome, then tells him "I wish you the best of luck...at this point, I'm outta here!" He then hands Judge Jeff Jones the microphone - who in turn, tosses it to the timekeeper - and runs to the back before New Jack shows up with a ton of weapons.

Mike Awesome retains the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against New Jack.

Chris Candido vs. Nova ends when Danny Doring, Roadkill and Miss Congeniality attack Nova. After the match, Chris Vandido helps Nova fight them off, and Tammy Lynn Sytch and Miss Congeniality have a catfight. Afterwards, Lance Storm and Dawn Marie show up, distracting Candido and Sytch and not only allowing Danny Doring and Roadkill to hold down Candido so Storm can beat Candido up, but for Miss Congeniality to hold Tammy Lynn Sytch down so that Dawn Marie can spank her with a paddle. Afterwards, Dawn Marie hits Miss Congeniality in the back of the head with her paddle. Storm tells everyone to pay attention, and Dawn Marie says "Two down, one to ago" before telling Francine to get her "lame ass" out here so she can show her who the real queen of extreme is. Francine shows up with "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer. Storm wants to know who is holding who back, as he broke Dreamer's back, and since Dreamer broke his back, he is not a whole lot of good to her. Dreamer and Francine go after Storm and Dawn Marie, and Justin Credible rushes into the ring to hit Dreamer in the back of the head with a Singapore cane. Raven shows up and leaves Dreamer to The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm), but they dare him to cross the line. Raven keeps crossing it, and he and Dreamer take down The Impact Players before Raven hits Dreamer with an Evenflow DDT almost immediately after they back into each other and turn around.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer says that New Orleans, Louisiana is special to his heart, and tells Raven to get in the ring so they can finish everything once and for all. Raven shows up, gets in the ring, circles around, and then leaves.

Rhino quickly beats David Kash. After the match, Steve Corino says that the way he sees it, there is nobody left for Rhino to destroy, except for one. Tonight, they will not go for a title; instead, they are going to take out the originator of ECW and take out a hardcore legend in Sabu. Sabu shows up with Bill Alfonso and referee Jim Molineaux, and Rhino immediately goes on the attack as soon as Sabu gets in the ring.

Sabu beats Rhino in a fast-paced match that sees neither man let up.

Next week: Sabu vs. Taz!

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for October 21, 1999

Mankind shows up without his mask again to start the show. As he sat down to write his memoirs, he realized he never learned how to use a computer. He hopes that everyone appreciates the fact that when they sit down to read Have A Nice Day, it is a pen and seventeen notebooks of his emotions. Wrestling fans can talk about the Hell In A Cell Match as the greatest thing he ever did, and others can say the same about his Japanese deathmatches, and other still about him winning the WWF Championship. He is here tonight to tell everyone in Louisville, Kentucky that Have A Nice Day is "the best damn thing" he has ever done, and that it was all written by him. Therefore, one can see how he felt when he handed a copy to The Rock only for the book to be thrown in the trash. He says that The Rock may as well have pulled down his pants and taken a dump on him. He says he has wanted nothing further to do with The Rock, and now he wants exactly what The Rock has. After saying that WWF Chairman Vince McMahon is the man who can give it to him, he asks the cameraman to focus on his ass as he says he will take his "big fat ass" and sit down in the ring until he has what The Rock has, and he is willing to sit down the entire two hours of the show if necessary. Vince shows up and wants to know what is going on. Mankind pulls out the Rock 'n Sock Connection jacket, then mentions that the whole time he wore the jacket, he knew he looked like a horse's ass, and that he continues to wear it because he knew it was fun. Somewhere along the line, though, it was forgotten that he was the man who won the WWF Championship three times, wrestled with his tooth stuck up his nose, and wrestled with his ear ripped clean off his skull. Underneath it all, he may not have the $500 shirts, the raiseable eyebrow or 297 catchphrases, but he is as every bit as good as, if not better than, "that ingrateful son-of-a-bitch" The Rock. He does not want The Rock to take what is his, but he wants a shot at the WWF Championship, and he is willing to beat The Rock to get it and show that he might as well be headlining pay-per-views from now on. Vince says he has the credentials, but that tonight is not the time or the place. Mankind says the fans beg to differ, and that it is the exact time and place for them to go toe-to-toe; the problem is that somebody in the back is suffering from a sudden and acute attack of "non-testicular fortitude." The Rock shows up and mocks Mankind, and if he wants to make reference to him and his testicles, then he should know that these are "The People's Testicles." Having said that, if Mankind wants him tonight, he has got him, and tonight, he will whup his fat ass. Mankind says he sees an insecure little boy, and that he means every word he says about him in his book. Mankind leaves, then asks if he is the only #1 contender competing in the ring tonight. Vince reminds Rock that he accepted Mankind's challenge, and that nobody has challenged "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. All of a sudden, Val Venis shows up, and says that he has heard Vince when he said nobody has challenged Austin. He tells Vince to look in his eyes, as he is challenging Austin. Before the next match, The Rock says that if Mankind wants to challenge him, then he is going to serve him a piece of pie. There are many types of pie: shepherd's pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and the ever-so-lovable poontang pie. However, he has a special type of pie that is better than all of them: The People's Pie. Whether Mankind gets a great big piece or a little bitty one, he will take that piece of pie, take three scoops of vanilla ice cream, shine it up, turn it sideways and stick it straight up his candy ass. After Mankind shows up, Val Venis shows up and guests on commentary.

The fake cop mocks Big Show, and Boss Man says he likes making "that big fat bastard" cry as he continues to say it was funny. It does not take long for Big Show to run into the ring, and while Boss Man gets away, Boss Man's friend is not so lucky as Big Show decimates him while Boss Man escapes through the crowd.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James talks to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin backstage. Both of them find it rather odd that Austin is facing Val Venis tonight.

"Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry shows up before the next match, and the match between The Godfather and Viscera becomes a tag team match between the team of The Godfather and Mark Henry and the team of Mideon and Viscera.

When a few new guys show up, politics rear their ugly head again and he is told his World title match will never happen. All of a sudden, Sting shows up. He tells Bret to join him in the real world and realize one thing: promises do not come true in this business. He tells him he has Bret's legacy "right here" before performing a crotch chop, and says nobody cares if he has been screwed as everyone has been screwed in the business. Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 18, 1999

RAW

The Rock shows up to start tonight's show. He says the stage is now set for Survivor Series 1999, and that he will face Triple H for the WWF Championship. He will not let Triple H get away for a second with taking a sledgehammer to his ribs. Last night, when he swung the sledgehammer, it was not meant for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, but for Triple H's roody poo candy ass. At Survivor Series, when he is kicking Triple H's monkey ass all over the arena, his fans will be on their feet chanting his name, and he will take a sledgehammer, shine it up nicely, turn it sideways and stick it straight up his candy ass. Before The Rock can get finished speaking, Austin shows up. He tells The Rock that he is not the #1 contender to the WWF Championship like he thinks he is, and if he wasn't so stupid as to hit him with a sledgehammer, he would be talking to him instead of Triple H. He also tells The Rock that if he has a question as to what he is saying, then he can take off his silk shirt and they can fight about it right now. Austin drops his microphone, then The Rock does the same. The Rock takes his silk shirt off as Austin unbuttons his baseball jersey when WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up and says he has heard both men's points of view; however, he has yet to hear Triple H's point of view. He knows that Triple H is watching backstage, and calls him out so he can hear what he has to say on this matter. Triple H shows up, and says that everybody showed up thinking they would see the triumphant return of Austin as WWF Champion, but they are all wrong. He says it might piss the fans off, but it pisses The Rock, Austin and Vince off even more. He asks Vince if he has figured out that he cannot get the job done no matter what he does, as he will always come out on top. Last night, Vince stuck his nose in his business and got his lights knocked out for it, and The Rock also did that and got broken ribs and internal bleeding. As for Austin, he crossed paths with him last night and got beat for it. Vince tells Triple H he wanted his opinion, and asks him if he wants to face The Rock or Austin at Survivor Series. Triple H tries to answer, but The Rock says "It doesn't matter what your opinion is!" Vince says Triple H is "the game" and the best to ever play the game, and says he wants to face both men on the same night at the same time at Survivor Series. Therefore, Triple H will be defending the WWF Championship against Austin and The Rock at Survivor Series in a Triple Threat Match.

Before the next match, Buh Buh Ray Dudley complains about people making fun of how he talks, then stares at Kane and says that he can at least talk, unlike Kane. He asks Kane if he has heard himself talk, and proceeds to mock him. Kane does not take to this very well and grabs him by the throat. D-Von punches Kane, and Kane strikes back at D-Von. This starts the next match.

X-Pac and Kane beat The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley). During the match, The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) show up and watch from ringside, siding with Kane and X-Pac. They distract Buh Buh Ray behind referee Mike Chioda's back, and that is enough to allow X-Pac and Kane to win with a choke slam. After the match, The Headbangers mock The Dudley Boyz, and this starts a post-match brawl between the two teams. Referees quickly mobilize to pull both teams apart.

Curtis Hughes and Howard Finkel are seen playing poker with The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw)...and losing.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) demand a shot at the tag team titles from WWF Chairman Vince McMahon. McMahon says they do not exactly deserve them, but he gives it to them anyway.

The Big Boss Man shows up. He calls out Big Show, saying he knows he is in the back and that he has his personal problems with his father, but business is business and life is life. He does not feel sorry for his father, except for having a loser for a son. He tells Big Show to grow some balls and take his challenge for the WWF Hardcore Championship to see how hardcore he can be, as he kicked his ass one time and he looks forward to doing it again.

Michael Cole interviews The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young. Moolah says this title victory has been a dream come true. This leads to Mae Young saying that Moolah is seventy years old, which in turns leads to an argument between Moolah and Mae Young. Moolah hands the Women's title to Cole, then knocks Mae Young to the floor when she dares Moolah to make her leave and also wanting a title shot. Officials have to pull both women apart.

Kevin Kelly interviews Big Show. He accepts The Big Boss Man's challenge for the WWF Hardcore Championship, saying he needs to put his personal issues aside and have something to focus on. He plans to put his hands around Boss Man's throat when he gets in the ring and snap him in half.

Test is seen entering the building.

We see footage of "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry's fourth sex therapy session with yet another sex therapist. He talks about his failures in previous sessions, then the sex therapist - an older woman - asks if he has ever had a non-sexual friendly enoucter and offers him a non-sexual hug. It backfires, as she takes a liking to Mark Henry.

Viscera beats The Godfather thanks to the distraction from Mideon. Before the match, it is announced that The Fabulous Moolah will defend the WWF Women's Championship against Mae Young this week on SmackDown.

Curtis Hughes and Howard Finkel are still losing to The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) at poker backstage.

Mankind is seen looking for The Rock backstage.

Mankind finds The Rock backstage. Later tonight, they will be defending the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly). The Rock is only concerned about the WWF Championship. Mankind says it is his turn to give back, and gives him a free copy of Have A Nice Day, and also tells him he won Mr. Rocko back from Val Venis. The Rock tells him to keep Mr. Rocko.

Chyna shows up, but she is not alone: Miss Kitty is dress much like Chyna and even has her hair died black. Chyna says she proved to the world that she can beat any man at any time last night, and that she is the only female Intercontinental Champion in the history of the WWF. She says that feels "pretty damn good," and that a lot of guys have a problem with that. She says she is a worthy champion, then issues an open challenge to any of the guys in the back, and if they can't handle the heat, they should get out of her kitchen. Suddenly, Chris Jericho shows up, and says he loves being in the business and being the absolute best in the business. He says he has never been ashamed to be a part of it until now, because Chyna is the biggest embarrassment the business have ever seen and is proof the business is in a downward spiral as it makes him absolutely sick. He says what used to be the second second most-important championship in wrestling is now in the hands of "an incompetent woman." He then goes on to say that the last shreds of dignity the title had were thrown away when the powers that be decided Chyna was championship material, and says the thought of her as a credible and believable champion is an idea even more ridiculously enhanced than Chyna's breasts are. He says he may not be Jeff Jarrett, and that she won't get any Good Housekeeping matches out of him, he would never hit a woman. He makes an exception for her, as he says that Chyna is not a woman is "a hideous, grotesque freak of nature" and he will beat the hell out of her to restore honor to the Intercontinental Championship. When he does, everyone will be chanting his name. As he says this, he turns his back towards Chyna, who blasts him with the Intercontinental Championship into the commentary table. An angry Jericho throws a temper tantrum, swinging a chair into the steel steps afterwards.

Al Snow tells Mankind about finding his autobiography in the trash. Mankind thinks it is a joke, but Snow tells him that this is not the case.

Before the next match, Val Venis says the relationship between Al Snow and Mankind is the single most pathetic thing he has ever seen. Last night, Mankind found out first hand why he is the single fastst up-and-coming athlete in the history of the World Wrestling Federation, and if he wants to send Snow to derail "The Big Valbowski Express," then Snow might as well tie himself up and lie in the middle of the tracks so he can run him down.

Val Venis beats Al Snow.

Mankind is seen looking for The Rock.

Mankind confronts The Rock for throwing his book in the trash. The Rock says he doesn't know what Mankind is talking about, but Mankind says The Rock does nothing but take while all he does is give, then accuses him of pissing on everything he believes in before calling him a "self-centered, egotistical, self-righteous son-of-a-bitch" while saying "Piss on you." Faarooq hits Billy Gunn with the loose turnbuckle at one point, but it only nets him a near-fall. Later on, Howard Finkel leaves a steel chair on the apron, but Billy Gunn uses it against Bradshaw to get the win. After the match, The Acoltyes berate Howard Finkel and give him a wedgie as they take him to the back.

Edge says the Terri Runnels Invitational could have gone either way, but last night, the fans gave them a standing ovation. The fans give them one now, since all four of them worked their asses off. They have come here tonight out of respect, and say it was an honor. Both teams shake hands, then Terri Runnels shows up with Gangrel. Gangrel says the four of them deserve a big congratulations, but says he deserves some congratulations too, as while they were sleeping off the beatings that they gave each other at the hotel, he was up all night and he was the only one who scored. Edge, Christian and The Hardys all attack Gangrel. Terri Runnels is smiling as referees restore order., then Terri leaves with The Hardy Boyz.

We see GTV footage of The Big Boss Man, telling somebody "That was an Oscar-winning performance" and that Big Show "fell for it, hook, line and sinker." Austin gets Triple H back into the ring , but Triple H proceeds to hammer Austin and push referee Earl Hebner away. Austin fights back and delivers another Stone Cold Stunner to Triple H before daring The Rock to get in the ring with him. Austin then forces Hebner into the corner after leaving a beer for Triple H, then Triple H gets up and picks up the beer. Triple H gets on the middle rope, drinks the beer, flips everyone off and hits Triple H with another Stunner. Austin and Hebner enjoy a beer together, then Triple H gets up again and confronts Earl Hebner before knocking the beer out of his hands. Triple H then pushes Hebner, but Hebner pushes back, slings the beer at him and yells "Fuck you!" at Triple H. Austin hits Triple H with a Stunner, then raises Hebner's hand into the air. As Austin and Hebner head to the back, Austin turns around and sees Triple H flipping him off with both hands. Austin runs back into the ring and hits him with two Stunners when the first one fails to knock him out. Triple H gets up yet again, and Austin hands him another beer. Triple H thinks Austin is going to stun him again, and the crowd chants "Drink the beer!" Triple H takes the beer and drinks it, then shakes Austin's hand before eating another Stunner which sends him tumbling out of the ring.
