No Mercy 1999 - The Results

Before the next match, The Godfather gets on the mat to Mideon's level and says that since he has no farm animals and Mideon doesn't want any hos, he will just have to whip his ass.

Despite the constant interference of Viscera, The Godfather beats Mideon. Referee Tim White dances with the hos after the match.

Michael Cole interviews Ivory, who says that she does not care about The Fabulous Moolah's history as there is enough to fill an encyclopedia. She says Moolah and Mae Young have trouble remembering things because they can't seem to find their way back to "the home." Tonight, she will send a message they will never forget when she is done with them, and that she is the real Women's Champion.

The Fabulous Moolah beats Ivory to become the WWF Women's Champion for the fourth time and the first time since 1986 as Ivory tries to knock Mae Young off the apron with the title.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) beat The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) after Hardcore Holly throws a steel chair in the ring only for Billy Gunn to hit Crash with a Fameasser on the chair. The referee sees this happen and The Hollys win by disqualification. After the match, Road Dogg hits Hardcore Holly with a pump handle slam onto the steel chair.

Jeff Jarrett brings a kitchen sink to the ring with him before the next match, and Chyna shows up with a broom and an aluminum trash can.

Chyna beats Jeff Jarrett in a Good Housekeeping Match to become the very first female WWF Intercontinental Champion. During the match, Jeff Jarrett slingshots Chyna into the referee inadvertently, then hits Chyna with the WWF Intercontinental Championship to rtain the title. Shortly after Jarrett is declared the winner, he is told that he cannot use the title as a weapon because it is not a household item, and the match is restarted. Jarrett takes his anger out on referee Teddy Long for the decision with the Figure Four Leg Lock, but Chyna hits Jarrett with his guitar - which does count as a household items as it was mentioned by Jarrett in the rules for the Good Housekeeping Match - to win the title and make history.

The Rock beats The British Bulldog.

The New Brood (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat Edge and Christian in a Ladder Match to win The Terri Runnels Invitational three matches to two (3-2), earn $100,000 and win the managerial services of Terri Runnels. This happens after Matt Hardy pushes a ladder with Jeff Hardy and Christian on it into Edge. Jeff Hardy makes a slick transition to the other ladder as everyone else is on the match, then grabs the bag of money above the ring and plummets back-first onto the math. The match is the very first tag team ladder match in WWF history. Gangrel is ejected from the match early on by referee Tim White. After the match, Jeff and Matt Hardy celebrate with Terri Runnels backstage.

The Rock shows up. He has a challenge in mind for the winner of tonight's main event, and he does not care if it is Triple H or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. When the match is made and done and he stands in the middle of the ring the WWF Champion, all of his fans will chant his name, and when everything is finished, he will be The People's Champion again. As he leaves, he is suddenly attacked by Triple H with a sledgehammer, and referees have to restore order. The Rock has to be helped onto a stretcher by EMTs.

Before the next match, Val Venis brings his copy of Mankind's autobiography, Have A Nice Day!, to the ring, and Mankind checks on The Rock before making his way to the ring.

Val Venis beats Mankind by pinfall with the testicular claw in a duel between that move and the Mandible Claw. After the match, Mankind wrestles Mr. Rocko back from Val Venis' possession, and also gets his book back.

Doctors are still tending to The Rock backstage.

X-Pac beats Bradshaw, Kane and Faarooq in a Four Corners Elimination Match.

Doctors are seen taping up The Rock's ribs backstage.

Before the next match, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up and takes Triple H's sledgehammer away from him. Triple H responds by punching out Vince McMahon, and the match starts.

Triple H retains the WWF Championship against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a no holds barred match. During the match, Triple H and Austin fight through the crowd, and Austin inadvertently catapults Triple H into referee Mike Chioda as he catapults him back to ringside before the match gets back in the ring. Austin eventually hits a Stone Cold Stunner and has to get Chioda back into the ring, but Triple H recovers and sends Austin into Chioda, who is on the apron on his way back to the ring. Chioda is knocked off the apron, and referee Earl Hebner runs into the ring after Triple H hits a Pedigree only to count a near-fall. Triple H confronts Hebner for coming out too late, and this eventually becomes a brief physical confrontation that is broken up when Austin hits Triple H. Chioda is then taken to the back, and Hebner is referee for the rest of the match. Later on in the match, Triple H introduces a steel chair into the match, but Austin uses it against him and tries to destroy Triple H's legs like Triple H did to him. Triple H hits Austin with a low blow, then The Rock shows up with a sledgehammer in his hands. He aims for Triple H, but Triple H dodges it, and The Rock swings the sledgehammer right into Austin's gut, taking him down and allowing Triple H to retain the title. Triple H has to be helped to the back after the match, and Austin rushes after Triple H. Their brawl goes to the back, and Chyna helps Triple H into the back seat of a black limousine, which speeds off.
