Goldust comes out, and Roddy then strikes at Goldust with the bat before beating the crap out of him. Goldust hits Roddy with a low blow and gets in the gold Cadillac, early running Roddy over. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats Savio Vega by submission after Vega accidentally knocks the ref out with a kick to the face and Austin hits Vega with the Million Dollar Championship twice as the ref is knocked out. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase has to use a cold drink to wake the referee up. During the match, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper briefly calls Vince McMahon via cellular phone, saying that if Goldust thinks he can escape him, he's "ten different kinds of wrong." He says that he will make a man out of Goldust, then we see aerial footage of four police cars chasing after the white Ford Bronco that looks suspiciously like the police aerial chase cam footage of O.J. Simpson's police chase.

We see a few more seconds of some aerial footage of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's white Ford Bronco. Vince McMahon says that the footage looks awfully familiar.

The Undertaker beats Diesel.Todd Pettengill is watching the security monitors backstage when Goldust and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper return to the arena. Goldust makes it to the arena, and Piper is close behind. They both reach the aisle, and Piper finally chases Goldust into the ring. The two of them fight in the ring, but after Goldust kisses Piper on the lips, Piper finally strikes back and rips Goldust's bodysuit off, revealng that Goldust is wearing women's lingerie underneath. After a second knee to the groin, Marlena has to cover Goldust up, and the two of them flee. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper comes out on top in the Hollywood Backlot Brawl.

Howard Finkel announces that Gorilla Monsoon, who is now in the ring for the first time since being attacked by Vader, is WWF President once again.

When "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' entrance plays, initially only Jose Lothario appears. Lothario points to the rafters, and we see The Heartbreak Kid ride down a zipline with the help of a chest harness.

Referee Earl Hebner explains the results of the Iron Man match. Decisions can be made through pinfall, submission, disqualification or count-out. The Giant vs. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is a no-contest after "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson tries to hit The Giant in the back with a steel chair. The Taskmaster takes the chair away and confronts Anderson, but The Giant sees Taskmaster with the steel chair and choke slams him before choke slamming Anderson. This is after numerous attempts at interference where The Giant is kicked in the groin and choked with some sort of wire, which has little effect on The Giant.

We see "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels with the "Kliq Cam" before the next match at the start of the show.

Before the next match, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels introduces his friend, teacher, and local legend Jose Lothario. Lothario says that WrestleMania 12 will bring San Antonio "the only Heavyweight Champion of the World." When the bell ring, it doesn't take long for Bret "The Hit Man" Hart to show up. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Leif Cassidy when Bret "The Hit Man" Hart stops Marty Jannetty from interfering after Jannetty grabs the back of Michaels' tights. After the match, Michaels, thinking that Hart grabbed his tights, gets in a verbal altercation with Hart. Jose Lothario has to get in to cool the situation down and tell Michaels the tights grabbing was Jannetty's doing and not Hart's. Hart tells Vince that Michaels is not a great friend, but not an enemy either, and at WrestleMania 12, he plans to pound Michaels into the dirt for sixty minutes.

Jerry "The King" Lawler returns to commentary for the next match.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya.

Goldust has his way with a mannequin that looks like Acting WWF President "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Next week on Raw: the debut of Mankind!

Vince McMahon interviews The Undertaker and Paul Bearer in the ring. Paul Bearer says that Diesel robbed The Undertaker of the WWF Championship at Royal Rumble, and that Diesel received a taste of the darkness last month at In Your House, which led to Diesel destroying 'Taker's coffin and attacking Paul Bearer. Bearer then tells Diesel that he saw his future in the coffin last week, and that he saw the eve of his destruction. The Undertaker asks if everyone is prepared for the feast, for when all is said and done at WrestleMania 12, all that will be left is the battered carcass of one "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. He tells Diesel he has left him no other option. He would have been content with just beating him, but now that he has laid his hands on Paul Bearer, the corpse in the casket he saw last week will be his future, and that Diesel's soul and fate lies in the Grim Reaper's hands.

We see Dok Hendrix sing Badstreet U.S.A. with the Raw Band, then we see a reprise of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's training footage as part of a vignette for the upcoming Iron Man Match.

Tonight on the WCW Hotline, there's a rumor going around that a major wrestling superstar may be retiring to go to Hollywood. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Loch Ness, who says that Jimmy Hart brought him to the United States to get a shot at Hulk Hogan in the Doomsday Cage, but was taken out of the match by Hart through power of attorney. Col. Robert Parker beats Madusa in a Man vs. Woman match after "Dirty" Dick Slater pulls Madusa's leg towards him during a German suplex pin on Parker.

Animal tells Booker T and Sting they're going to find out why they're called the "Chicago Big Bullies." The Booty Man beats Diamond Dallas Page to keep Kimberly, The Booty Babe and also get the rest of Kimberly's money from Page, and also force Diamond Dallas Page to quit World Championship Wrestling as per stipulation. (Had Page won, he would have kept what money he had and also gotten Kimberly back.)

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Jimmy Hart and Lex Luger. Hart says this is the last night he will walk Luger down the aisle, and leaves him a jacket with Luger's likeness spraypainted on it for his trophy case. The show begins with The Giant beating up Loch Ness with Jimmy Hart directing traffic. Lex Luger, who is supposed to be facing Loch Ness, shows up, then poses and walks by, heading to the ring like nothing is happening, then the match starts. Loch Ness ends up losing to Lex Luger by count-out, and Luger retains the WCW World Television Championship. After the match, Lex Luger celebrates, saying he's on a roll.

Tony Schiavone interviews Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Hogan says that he and Savage have the upper hand, and predicts that he and Savage will come out on top at Uncensored. The Booty Man shows up to help out, but Anderson brings out Jimmy Hart and two amazingly large men. Hulk, Savage and The Booty Man retreat through the crowd. The Taskmaster says he has looked far and wide to find two men who could bring an end to Hulkamania, and both Jimmy Hart and Ric Flair say that Hogan and company will be begging for mercy. Anderson says these two men are merely one-upsmanship for Hogan "snaking Savage into the back door." The Taskmaster says his problem with The Four Horsemen is over, and all that's left is where a hospital bed can be found for Hogan and Savage, whom Flair says he'll send Miss Elizabeth over to the hospital to see them once they're put there.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 18, 1996

It is revealed that last weekend at Madison Square Garden, Diesel lost his cool when he faced The Undertaker and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and hit both 'Taker and Hart - and his tag team partner, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels - with a steel chair.

The British Bulldog beats Jake "The Snake" Roberts by count-out when Jim Cornette grabs Roberts by the leg and pulls him out of a pinfall attempt only for Roberts to chase after Cornette with Revelations.

We see footage of both "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart training.

Goldust beats Fatu. During the match, Vince McMahon interviews Acting WWF President "Rowdy" Roddy Piper via telephone, who tells Goldust that he's the last person he'd want to meet on the street.

We look back at The Ultimate Warrior's victory against "Macho Man" Randy Savage at WrestleMania 7.

Vince McMahon interviews Camp Cornette (Jim Cornette, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Vader). Cornette tells Yokozuna, Ahmed Johnson and Jake "The Snake" Roberts that if they want a six-man tag match at WrestleMania, they've got it, but they'll need five more men on their side if they hope to stand a chance against Camp Cornette. Owen Hart tells Roberts that he'll choke the life out of him, tells Yokozuna that he carried him to WrestleMania and Ahmed Johnson that he has no brains to go along with his brawn. The British Bulldog tells Ahmed Johnson that The Bulldog is the WWF's strongest athlete, not Johnson. Cornette calls Yokozuna "a blithering idiot" and that he took him to the top, but he kept listening to Mr. Fuji. He also says that Vader is twice the man and twice the champion he ever will be. We then hear from Yokozuna, Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Ahmed Johnson on the video wall, who tell Cornette to read the fine print next time because if Camp Cornette loses, Yokozuna gets five minutes in the ring with Cornette...and those five minutes are not going to be pretty.

We see footage of Diesel hitting "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in the back with a steel chair at last weekend's show in Madison Square Garden. Shawn Michaels is then seen and heard saying "I'm gonna kick his seven foot ass."

On The Ross Report on Option 6 of the WWF Superstar Line: Why didn't Bret "The Hit Man" Hart come to the aid of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels yesterday at Madison Square Garden? Also, an injury update!

During Diesel vs. Barry Horowitz, Paul Bearer shows up with a casket, which he pushes to the side of the ring.

Diesel beats Barry Horowitz. After the match, Diesel grabs a wrench from the timekeeper's area and opens the casket only to find a dead body that looks just like him. Diesel is spooked.

We get a look at "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, The 1-2-3 Kid and Tatanka in the locker room...and not much else.

Diesel is seen looking for The Undertaker at the other end of the aisle.

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels battles Leif Cassidy and Ahmed Johnson faces Owen Hart next week on Raw.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beats Tatanka when "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and The 1-2-3 Kid's interference attempt backfires.

We see the "Federal Turner Commission Hearing," which is eerily similar to Col. Jessep's memorable speech from A Few Good Men. WWF then asks people to write letters to Federal Trade Commission Chairman Mr. Robert Pitofsky, asking him not to approve the merger of Turner Broadcasting and Time-Warner as it would bring 50% of cable outlets into Ted Turner's control.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for March 11, 1996

Note: There was no episode of Nitro last week due to the NBA Playoffs.

The Giant beats "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan with a choke slam after Jimmy Hart distracts a Duggan with a taped fist. During the match, Flyin' Brian (or somebody looking like him) is escorted from the building by security.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) make a surprise appearance, arriving on motorcycles and replacing The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) who are requiring medical assistance after a backstage attack according to commentary.

The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) beat The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) after Animal hits Rick Steiner with a spiked shoulder pad.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), who say that they've been hunting The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) down to get them in a wrestling match, and calls the way they won tonight "disgraceful." He tells The Road Warriors they haven't seen the last of them. Even Rick isn't too happy with how he and Scott lost, and says that this isn't the end.

Lex Luger retains the WCW World Television Championship - and replaces Johnny B. Badd in the match - against "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright thanks to help from Jimmy Hart. After the match, Luger just wants Jimmy Hart away from him.

Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and The Booty Man beat The Taskmaster, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in a chaotic Lumberjack Strap Match. Kimberly the Diamond Doll shows up with a rose in her hand and wearing white, fueling speculation that she may be smitten with The Booty Man.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Taskmaster, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. The Taskmaster tells Hulk Hogan he's had his day, and that he'll have to go through four cages in order to get Ric Flair. Anderson says that tonight is nothing compared to what will happen at Uncensored, and says that this feud between him and "Macho Man" Randy Savage will never be over. Flair calls out Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, telling them he's got the whole world in his hands and that they will pay the price at Uncensored, then shows up at the commentary table and goes nuts.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 11, 1996

Savio Vega and The Ringmaster - now known as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - fight to a double count-out. After the bell, Austin and Vega continue to fight each other as the referee tries to break them up. During the match, US Olympic hopeful Mark Henry can be seen in the front row.

Earlier tonight, Mark Henry puts Jerry "The King" Lawler in a gorilla press slam, much to the surprise of Dr. Isaac Yankem, D.D.S., after Lawler says Henry couldn't possibly jump over the guardrail and get in the ring with him.

Last week on Superstars, Savio Vega and Razor Ramon beat The Million Dollar Corporation (The 1-2-3 Kid and Tatanka) to continue to the next round of the Tag Team Tournament. This weekend on Superstars, The Bushwhackers (Butch and Luke) will take on The Bodydonnas (Zip and Skip) in the final first round match of the tournament.

Goldust and Marlena show up before the break.

Tonight's featured WWF Store item is the limited edition WrestleMania 12 denim jackets. Only 5,000 are available, and once they're gone, they're gone.

When we come back from break, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper shows up. Piper wants to know exactly what is up with Goldust, and criticizes his appearance. Roddy says he's seen the "Piper's Pit" movie, and says that Goldust is embarassing him just so he can get some attention. He reminds us that he beat Adrian Adonis half to death with a baseball bat, and that Goldust's mind games aren't working for a second. He says "it's time to get our sexuality right," stating that Goldust is what he is and that Roddy himself is a lesbian. Piper says that what really bothers him is the pride that Goldust doesn't have, that he's not holding the Intercontinental Championship with pride, and that he's only in it to raise the ratings. Piper says that not even Freddy Krueger enters his nightmares. Goldust takes the microphone and states that he wants a piece of him really bad and knows Piper wants a piece of him, and tells him to stop pretending. He says that Piper has strayed from reality and is here to bring him back down to earth as he kneels down. He invites Piper to come to his backlot as that is where he does his best work and knows that Piper can do some of his there, too. Goldust tries to lay a hand on Piper, much to Piper's chagrin, and tries to pull up his skirt for a "sneak preview." Piper pushes Goldust's hand away, saying no more. Goldust and Piper stare down, then Goldust tries to seduce him. Piper pushes Goldust back, and Goldust slaps Piper in the face. Piper slaps Goldust back, knocking him down to the canvas and also knocking his wig off his head. Piper tells him he's got his backlot fight, and that he's going to make a man out of him. (This effectively turns the Miami Street Fight between Goldust and Razor Ramon into a Hollywood Backlot Brawl between Goldust and Piper, as Razor Ramon is suspended due to drug use.)

The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) beat Alex Porteau and Jerry Mead.

We see "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels training at home in San Antonio, where he introduces us to his mentor Jose Luthario, who made his every dream come true if he just listened to him. Eleven years later, he is now within grasp of the WWF Championship.

We see Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Bret notes the difference in wrestling styles between him and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, saying that HBK's wrestling style is more in tune with Mexican wrestling, while his is more of a tough submission style. He says that talk of Shawn Michaels being better than him drives him nuts, and says that while Shawn is good, he will never be the best.

It is announced that Hunter Hearst Helmsley will be facing The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 12.

Michelle Snickler accompanies Hunter Hearst Helmsley to the ring tonight.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Ben Greer.

"Scheme Gene" covers The Huckster vs. Nacho Man being aired for free on the Free For All before in the "Geriatric Match Report." Once again, the WWF makes fun of Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage's storyline in WCW with a "no handcuffs or ladies' shoes allowed at ringside" stipulation being added to this fabricated match-up. We also see The Huckster train only to put his back out and rely on a walker and an oxygen mask. Meanwhile, The Nacho Man has spray-on hair applied to his bald spot. We also find out that "Billionaire Ted" is the special guest referee for this match...if he can pull himself away from the FTC hearings, that is. The WCW Hotline is parodied again, with the burning question being "Will there be nightfall?"

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart prepares for WrestleMania in a match against Tatanka next week on Raw.

Diesel watches the next match from the back in preparation for a tag match this weekend where he teams with "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels against The Undertaker and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. He hopes that the rumors about Shawn Michaels aren't true, but he won't say what those rumors are.

Diesel shows up during Yokozuna and The Undertaker vs. Owen Hart and The British Bulldog and attacks Paul Bearer, then leaves. The Undertaker spots Diesel and leaves the ring, tends to Paul Bearer, then goes after Diesel, effectively making this match a 2-on-1 handicap match.

After the commercial break, Vader shows up and knocks down Yokozuna. Ahmed Johnson shows up and makes quick work of Owen Hart and The British Bulldog before beating Vader at his own power game. Jake "The Snake" Robert shows up to fully even the odds, and Cornette tries to help out on his side and direct traffic. Officials have to get into the ring to restore order, but Yokozuna fights back against Vader, and he, Ahmed and Roberts force Cornette's camp to retreat. Vader grabs a chair and smacks it against the ringposts, but is unable to do much else.

Monday, March 4, 1996

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 4, 1996

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats The 1-2-3 Kid. During the match, we hear from Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, who says that some of HBK's tricks won't work on him and that he has enough respect to not want anything to happen to him before WrestleMania 12. HBK celebrates his win with a much younger fan after the match.

Shattered Dreams Productions and .24 Karat Productions presents a film by Marlena: Piper's Pit starring Goldust. Goldust says that at one time, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was literally huge, and that some of his earliest teenage fantasies involve Piper. While Piper may go down as a Hollywood great, Goldust says he'll be the greatest. We then see Goldust play the bagpipes.

The Ultimate Warrior is officially returning to the WWF at WrestleMania 12.

Sunny is the guest host for this Saturday's WWF Mania!

Yokozuna and The Undertaker take on Owen Hart and The British Bulldog next week on Raw.

Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw beats Hakushi in his Raw debut. During the match, Vince McMahon interviews Acting WWF President "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who says that he will announce The Ultimate Warrior's opponent for WrestleMania 12 next week. As for Goldust's "Piper's Pit" movie, he knows it's a mind game and that he will give him a piece of mind and that he'd better be prepared for it. After the match, Bradshaw hogties Hakushi by his feet, then Uncle Zebekiah brands Hakushi with a branding iron.

Mankind says that he heard the man through the walls tell him that he was not a boy anymore, that he was becoming dangerous and that his emotions would have to be numbed. He paid him a visit, and remembers the fear in his eyes when he says that only mankind could be this evil. He then says that payback is finally at hand, and that nobody will have a nice day.

Emerald Heart accompanies Hunter Hearst Helmsley to the ring tonight.

Tonight's selected WWF Store item is the official WrestleMania 12 Chair...only $79.95 plus shipping and handling.

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up at ringside to Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart with a steel chair so he can sit down and get a better look.

WWF comes live to Austin, Texas; Beaumont, Texas; Tyler, Texas; Houston, Texas; and Corpus Christi, Texas.

Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beats Hunter Hearst Helmsley with the Sharpshooter.

We see and hear Ted Turner quotes from "Billionaire Ted" on Tee Vee Trivia, and "Ted's" opponent Candi guesses all the quotes correctly as being from "Billionaire Ted." She wins the grand prize of $2,684,431,223. Also, last week's Nitro is made fun of as the Huckster is still handcuffed to a wrestling ring and "Nacho Man" is hit in the head with a high heel.
