Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 25, 1999

The show starts with The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) demanding WWF Chairman Vince McMahon to put them in a match against The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) for the WWF Tag Team Championships. Vince tells them that Edge and Christian have a title shot tonight, but they want them out of the match and want in tonight's title match. Nevertheless, they ask for two other opponents tonight. Mankind and The Rock are out due to Mankind challenging Triple H for the WWF Championship tonight. Triple H storms in and confronts Vince over tonight's title match, and The New Age Outlaws say Triple H is scared. Triple H tells them to shut up, and in an attempt to make them shut up after Road Dogg says he isn't shutting up, Triple H proposes that The New Age Outlaws face The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, since Austin is nowhere on tonight's show. The New Age Outlaws are up to the challenge, and Vince tells them they've got it.

The Godfather looks for his hos backstage, thinking they are with "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry. He finds Mark, telling him it time to go to work, and has to kick the door open to get him and the hos to come to the ring, telling Henry he can't have the hos 24/7.

Before the next match, Viscera says that while Mideon likes farm animals, he likes - and wants - The Godfather's hos, and proposes a "winner takes all" match. Viscera then tells "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry that when he wins the match with him, he can have them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Viscera beats The Godfather to get all the hos after "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry drags The Godfather to the floor from behind in the corner. Mideon gets ejected from the match early on by referee Tim White for getting on the apron and choking The Godfather from behind in the corner. After the match, Mark Henry hits The Godfather with a splash. Viscera and Mark Henry then command the hos to go to the back. Meanwhile, a few hos are still in the ring checking on The Godfather, and Viscera commands them to go to the back. When they refuse, one of them gets kicked to the mat and splashed along with The Godfather, then the other one leaps on Viscera to put him in a sleeper hold only to be pushed off and slammed into the canvas. EMTs have to check on the two remaining hos

Michael Cole interviews The Rock. For the last two weeks, he and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin have been playing oneupsmanship, and that he has sent chill bumps up Austin's arms. At Survivor Series, they will both face Triple H in a Triple Threat Match one more time for the WWF Championship. Tonight, however, Austin is his tag team partner, and they have to put everything outside and face The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn). He has no problem with this, but since he is in "The People's Ring," he will be surrounded by the millions of his fans as they will let The Rock know he will forever be The People's Champ.

As The Godfather and his two loyal hos are in the ambulance, The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) laugh about it, but Buh Buh Ray says it will not be as funny as what he will do to Kane tonight.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) vs Edge and Christian for the WWF Tag Team Championships ends when two men dressed like rappers show up and attack Edge and Christian. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and Terri Runnels are seen watching the match on a monitor backstage. The two "rappers" are identified as Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor) after The Hardy Boyz show up and attack Too Much, helping Edge and Christian get them out of the ring.

Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah are seen making up with each other backstage.

A steel cage can be seen hanging above the ring. Michael Cole interviews Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah in the ring. Mae Young thanks Moolah for being the oldest person she has ever wrestled, and says that this is not a slight against her. Moolah thanks all the fans who have supported her; however, at her age, she cannot defend the WWF Women's Championship as it should be defended. She will give the WWF Women's Championship back and officially retire. Suddenly, Ivory shows up with a broom in her room, and says there are two witches in the room before telling Moolah she found her ride in the handicapped spot and proceeds to raise the broom up. Ivory reminds Moolah that she has a rematch clause, and Mae Young confronts Ivory only to be kicked in the gut before having the broom broken on her back. Moolah fights Ivory, and this starts a match.

Ivory beats The Fabulous Moolah to become the WWF Women's Champion. After the match, Ivory pushes Mae Young off the apron and stomps her a few times.

Prince Albert is seen talking to Big Show, and challenges him to a match to see how bad he really is, and reminds him that he is not The Big Boss Man.

Survivor Series will be live on pay-per-view on November 14th!

Big Show vs. Prince Albert ends in a no-contest. During the match, The Big Boss Man shows up and tells Big Show that he has something that belongs to him, his father and his father's father. Last night, he made a trip to the hospital to see how badly his father was doing, and says the stench of death was in the air. All he saw in the bed was a puny old man waiting to die, and he pulled the plug on him. Before he left, he saw him clutching a pocket watch in his hand, and he took it. As he talks, he threatens to destroy the watch if Big Show ges any closer. Prince Albert attacks Big Show from behind, then Big Boss Man hits Big Show in the head with a hammer. He then proceeds to destory the pocket watch with a hammer on an anvil brought in by two stage hands.

Chris Jericho says he feels horrible for Big Show, but he feels worse for Chyna as he will expose her as a cowardly disgrace of a champion who has no more right to be in the ring with him than a common fan. He tells Chyna to bring D'Lo Brown out as her tag team partner, and he will bring a common fan into the ring, and they will embarrass her and prove she will never be in the same league as him.

Backstage, Big Show hunts down The Big Boss Man.

Before the next match, Chris Jericho picks a female fan out of the audience, but this person looks suspiciously like a man in woman's clothing.

Chyna and D-Lo Brown beats Chris Jericho and the random female fan, who is revealed to be none other than Stevie Richards dressed as a woman as Chyna beats him up. After the match, Jericho beats up Stevie Richards with two powerbombs followed by the Walls of Jericho.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon is reading Mankind's autobiography when Mankind shows up and thanks him for the shot at the WWF Championship. When Vince asks him about his facial expressions - save for "the bobbing Adam's apple at the time of fear" - being the best in the business, Mankind tells Vince that he makes it happen, as his own face is covered up most of the time.

WAR ZONE

Mankind beats Triple H by disqualification. The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin are seen watching the match on a monitor backstage in separate areas. Later on in the match, Triple H grabs a steel chair, but Mankind kicks into his face as he runs towards him in the corner. As Triple H and referee Mike Chioda play tug-of-war with the chair, Mankind grabs the WWF Championship. Chioda takes the steel chair away, but Mankind hits Triple H with the WWF Championship behind Chioda's back. After a near-fall, Mankind locks in the Mandible Claw, but Val Venis runs in with a steelc chair and hits Mankind in the back with it, ending the match. Al Snow runs in, and he and Mankind take Venis down. Triple H retains the WWF Championship.

Michael Cole interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin says nobody sends chill bumps down his arms, and that he and The Rock will be facing Triple H for the WWF Championship in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series. As far as tonight goes, he has no problems, but he is not friends with The Rock and he will slap The People's Eyebrow off of him if he does not do his part.

Michael Hayes interviews WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon, who announces that she is nearly 100% and is starting to get a lot of her memories and feelings for Test back. She hopes that Test beats an apology out of The British Bulldog as Test is seen talking with WWF co-owner Shane McMahon.

Kevin Kelly interviews Kane and X-Pac. Kane says that Tori told him not to make fun of Buh Buh Ray Dudley, and as he almost mocks Buh Buh Ray's speech impediment before reaching for his autolarynx, he tells X-Pac to promise him he will stay out of the match no matter what. X-Pac tells him that if he wants to do this himself, he understands more than anybody. All of a sudden, Kane and X-Pac are assaulted by The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley).

Before the next match, The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) show up with Kane's autolarynx. Buh Buh Ray proceeds to mock how Kane's speech patterns before bragging about stealing the autolarynx. D-Von Dudley says Kane should have learned not to mess with them early on.

Kane beats Buh Buh Ray Dudley by disqualification after D-Von Dudley interferes. X-Pac is seen watching the match on a monitor backstage. After the match, X-Pac stands by as Kane is double-teamed, and Tori tells him to get out there and help Kane, as he is his best friend. Tori also tells him that if he does not get out there, she will. X-Pac runs to the ring after a double team.

Kevin Kelly interviews The British Bulldog. Bulldog finds it funny that WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon is regaining her memory, as Test won't be able to remember anything after he gets through smashing his head into the steel cage over and over again.

The British Bulldog vs. Test in a Steel Cage Match ends in a no-contest. As Test climbs to the top of the cage, The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) climb over the guardrail and cut the lock to the cage door with bolt cutters. After Test hits Bulldog with an elbow from the top of the cage, The Posse go on the attack, and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon fights The Posse off single-handedly. Bulldog gets out of the cage as Test lays in the corner and The Posse continue to attack Shane. Rodney and Pete Gas are able to leave the cage, but Test grabs Joey Cage and boots him in the face before tossing him out. The Posse then slam the cage dooro nthe skull of Test, then limp away to the back. Afterwards, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon shows up and checks on Shane.

Triple H and The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) argue with each other at the locker room entrance. Meanwhile, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) head to "The Friendly Tap" for a beer. All of a sudden, two men recognize them and offer to buy them a drink, but they refuse to take no for an answer and one of them challenges them to an arm wrestling match. After some money is laid on the table, the challenge is accepted and Bradshaw wins immediately. The other guy accuses them of cheating, and calls Faarooq a "darkie," saying he can't count right and that "he's a good boy." The two locals continue to be racist towards Faarooq, and this starts a nasty bar room brawl where The Acolytes come out on top after they annihilate not only the two locals but anyone else who wants to step up. The Acolytes leave as the manager calls 911. (The Friendly Tap is a bar owned by referee Tim White, who is proprietor of the bar at the time and would be for years.)

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beat The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. During the match, Triple H runs in, but Austin notices him and keeps him out of the ring, and brawls with him to the stage, leaving The Rock without a tag team partner. As The Rock fights off The Outlaws on his own, X-Pac runs into the ring and hits The Rock with a spinning heel kick and allowing The New Age Outlaws the win. After the match, Austin runs back into the ring, and Triple H goes in after him. Triple H, X-Pac and The New Age Outlaws then outnumber Austin and The Rock and take the boots to them. All four men then put on D-Generation X jerseys and celebrate, as D-Generation X has now gotten back together.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for October 21, 1999

Mankind shows up without his mask again to start the show. As he sat down to write his memoirs, he realized he never learned how to use a computer. He hopes that everyone appreciates the fact that when they sit down to read Have A Nice Day, it is a pen and seventeen notebooks of his emotions. Wrestling fans can talk about the Hell In A Cell Match as the greatest thing he ever did, and others can say the same about his Japanese deathmatches, and other still about him winning the WWF Championship. He is here tonight to tell everyone in Louisville, Kentucky that Have A Nice Day is "the best damn thing" he has ever done, and that it was all written by him. Therefore, one can see how he felt when he handed a copy to The Rock only for the book to be thrown in the trash. He says that The Rock may as well have pulled down his pants and taken a dump on him. He says he has wanted nothing further to do with The Rock, and now he wants exactly what The Rock has. After saying that WWF Chairman Vince McMahon is the man who can give it to him, he asks the cameraman to focus on his ass as he says he will take his "big fat ass" and sit down in the ring until he has what The Rock has, and he is willing to sit down the entire two hours of the show if necessary. Vince shows up and wants to know what is going on. Mankind pulls out the Rock 'n Sock Connection jacket, then mentions that the whole time he wore the jacket, he knew he looked like a horse's ass, and that he continues to wear it because he knew it was fun. Somewhere along the line, though, it was forgotten that he was the man who won the WWF Championship three times, wrestled with his tooth stuck up his nose, and wrestled with his ear ripped clean off his skull. Underneath it all, he may not have the $500 shirts, the raiseable eyebrow or 297 catchphrases, but he is as every bit as good as, if not better than, "that ingrateful son-of-a-bitch" The Rock. He does not want The Rock to take what is his, but he wants a shot at the WWF Championship, and he is willing to beat The Rock to get it and show that he might as well be headlining pay-per-views from now on. Vince says he has the credentials, but that tonight is not the time or the place. Mankind says the fans beg to differ, and that it is the exact time and place for them to go toe-to-toe; the problem is that somebody in the back is suffering from a sudden and acute attack of "non-testicular fortitude." The Rock shows up and mocks Mankind, and if he wants to make reference to him and his testicles, then he should know that these are "The People's Testicles." Having said that, if Mankind wants him tonight, he has got him, and tonight, he will whup his fat ass. Mankind says he sees an insecure little boy, and that he means every word he says about him in his book. Mankind leaves, then asks if he is the only #1 contender competing in the ring tonight. Vince reminds Rock that he accepted Mankind's challenge, and that nobody has challenged "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. All of a sudden, Val Venis shows up, and says that he has heard Vince when he said nobody has challenged Austin. He tells Vince to look in his eyes, as he is challenging Austin. Austin shows up, and instead of saying a word, Austin immediately punches Val Venis before telling him that he accepts his challenge. At this point, The Rock is on the stage, and he and Austin stare each other down.

Lilian Garcia interviews Triple H, who says that this could be the greatest SmackDown of all time as both #1 contenders try to hold on to their shot at him, as it is all about the WWF Championship. All of a sudden, Al Snow shows up and asks if he is wrestling tonight, and Triple H tells him to buzz off, saying he does not even deserve to be in the building.

Triple H confronts WWF Chairman Vince McMahon for suddenly putting him in a match with Al Snow. Vince asks him if he thinks he cannot beat him, then wishes him luck. Triple H tells Vince he doesn't need his luck.

The British Bulldog brings The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) with him before the next match. Test calls thenm "the neutered dog and his three bitches," then says he knew he would not show up alone and that he has a surprise for him. All of a sudden, Edge and Christian show up as The Bulldog and The Posse attack Test. Test, Edge and Chrstiain immediately clean house before the next match.

Test, Edge and Christian beat The British Bulldog and The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs).

Big Show is seen making his way into the building.

Lilian Garcia interviews Big Show. He says what The Big Boss Man did was heartless and gutless and that his father was watching on Monday night. The fire inside of him will be unleashed when he gets his hands on Boss Man, and he will decimate him tonight.

Kevin Kelly interviews Al Snow. After 17 years, he has his chance, and he will pull every single stop he has in him. H eis suddenly attacked from behind by Triple H. Referees have to pull Triple H away.

Triple H retains the WWF Championship against Al Snow. "Stone Cold" Steev Austin and The Rock are both seen watching the match from backstage in separate areas.

Before the next match, The Rock says that if Mankind wants to challenge him, then he is going to serve him a piece of pie. There are many types of pie: shepherd's pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and the ever-so-lovable poontang pie. However, he has a special type of pie that is better than all of them: The People's Pie. Whether Mankind gets a great big piece or a little bitty one, he will take that piece of pie, take three scoops of vanilla ice cream, shine it up, turn it sideways and stick it straight up his candy ass. After Mankind shows up, Val Venis shows up and guests on commentary.

Mankind beats The Rock by disqualification after Val Venis - who has read what Mankind has though of The Rock from Mankind's autobiography - attacks Mankind with his book, saying it sucks. The Rock stays a #1 contender for the WWF Championship. During the match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen watching the match from backstage. After the match, The Rock hits a Rock Bottom on Val Venis and is about to do the same to Mankind with a Rock Bottom when Triple H gets in the ring and hits The Rock with a Pedigree.

We see footage from earlier today where Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah get stretched out for their match.

The Fabulous Moolah retains the WWF Women's Championship against Mae Young by disqualification after Mae Young reaches down referee Jimmy Korderas' shirt (and has him getting hip tossed along with her) and Ivory attacks The Fabulous Moolah from behind. After the match, Tori runs into the ring and takes down Ivory with a Spear, and Jacqueline runs into the ring and attacks Tori and Ivory. Luna Vachon then runs into the ring, and it turns in a six-woman brawl. Referees and officials have to run into the ring to restore order.

We see footage from "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry's fifth sex therapy session, and we find out that the therapist is none other than The Godfather, who tells Mark Henry that he only thinks he has something wrong with him and that there is nothing wrong with "loving these hos." He tells him to stop worrying and start being himself.

Big Show is seen backstage.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy). After the match, The Hollys are attacked from behind by The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) and are forced to flee.

Big Show is seen destroying his own locker room as he gets ready to hunt down The Big Boss Man.

The Big Boss Man shows up to the ring with his fake cop friend from last week through the crowd before the next match. Boss Man then takes the microphone and says that convincing Big Show his father was dead was the funniest thing ever. The fake cop mocks Big Show, and Boss Man says he likes making "that big fat bastard" cry as he continues to say it was funny. It does not take long for Big Show to run into the ring, and while Boss Man gets away, Boss Man's friend is not so lucky as Big Show decimates him while Boss Man escapes through the crowd.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James talks to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin backstage. Both of them find it rather odd that Austin is facing Val Venis tonight.

"Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry shows up before the next match, and the match between The Godfather and Viscera becomes a tag team match between the team of The Godfather and Mark Henry and the team of Mideon and Viscera.

The Godfather and "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry beat Mideon and Viscera. Mark Henry has fun with the hos along with The Godfather after the match, as does referee Tim White.

Mankind has his ankle checked on by a doctor in the boiler room as Val Venis, The Rock and Triple H are seen in separate areas backstage.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats Val Venis to stay a #1 contender for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series. After the match, Triple H runs in and hits Austin with a Pedigree, but The Rock runs in and hits Triple H with a Rock Bottom.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 11, 1999

RAW

This week, Robert James Marella, better known as Gorilla Monsoon, passed away at the age of 62.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. On behalf of the World Wrestling Federation, Vince says it feels good to be in Atlanta, Georgia. He then introduces the man who could become WWF Champion this Sunday at No Mercy: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin shows up. Austin says that for the last two months, he has been on the sidelines due to one particular asshole: Triple H. He has a message for Triple H: tonight, he is back, "you dumb son of a bitch." Ever since he had been gone, Triple H shows up and attacks Jim Ross and rattlesnakes, and says that does not scare him. When he gets him in the ring at No Mercy, he can rest assured that the WWF Championship is coming back to him. Right now, he is a little pissed off and he does not feel like waiting until No Mercy, and tells Triple H to come to the ring as he has something for him. Triple H shows up, and he tells Austin he hears him running his mouth, then Austin tells Triple H he has 40,000 people calling him an asshole. Triple H says that is really 40,000 people that he does not care if they live or die. He tells Austin he could walk down to the ring, and says there is not one person in the crowd who does not think he could rip him from one end of Atlanta to the other, but seeing as he is in the driver's seat, he is not doing that. He says Sunday will come soon enough, and says he does not have to scare Austin anymore as he has looked into his eyes and has seen that he is scared, as deep down inside, Austin knows that on Sunday, he cannot beat him. Triple H says nobody can beat him, as he is "The Game." After some more "asshole" chants, Triple H changes his mind and heads towards the ring, then circles it before slapping the headset off Jim Ross' head before shoving him again. Jim Ross finally has it with Triple H, and hits him from behind with the commentary table fan. Austin takes advantage of the situation and beats Triple H up at ringside. Austin then calls for Jim Ross to get in the ring, and he does. Austin holds Triple H back so Jim Ross can hit him, and Jim Ross punches Triple H in the gut. Chyna shows up and takes Jim Ross down before punching him in the face repeatedly, and Austin pulls Chyna off before punching her out of the ring. Triple H and Chyna retreat, and Triple H tells Austin that wants a piece of him and if Jim Ross wants to get involved, then the two of them can face him and Chyna later tonight. Austin asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they want to see him "open a can of whupass on these two bastards." He then tells Triple H he has signed his ass whipping.

We see a kennel full of bulldogs located backstage.

Mankind is seen waiting for The Rock backstage, carrying his "Rock 'n Sock Connection" jacket.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James sends his prayers out to Droz. He then calls out Hardcore and Crash Holly.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beat Hardcore and Crash Holly. After the match, Hardcore Holly lays out the Outlaws with the scale.

Michael Cole interviews Mankind, whose guest appearance on GvsE will be replayed right after Raw goes off the air. Mankind admits this was a lot of fun, but he is really here to say that everybody makes mistakes, and that maybe he made a mistake hitting The Rock with a steel chair. He says that one of them is not being a team player, saying there is no "I" in "team," "Rock," or "sock." Before he can commit to making some lucrative endorsement deals, he wants commitment from The Rock. He says it is put up or shut up time, and that it is up to The Rock, though he does not give a damn as he can go either way.

The backstage bulldog pen is seen again.

Before the next match, Ivory announces that she will "beat the Metamucil out of that old sea hag, Mae Young," and that this match will serve as a demonstration to "The Fabulously Old Moolah" at No Mercy this Sunday. She says she will not old back, and that she does not care if that makes the crowd uncomfortable. She says that nobody knows what they have put her through, as she has to live with anxiety and stress in anticipation of them ripping her hair out and her clothes off. She even sees their wrinkled faces and hunched backs in her nightmares. She says that justice will be served at No Mercy, then tells Mae Young to strap on her Depends, as she will need them when she beats the regularity out of her tonight.

Mae Young vs. Ivory ends before it can begin when Ivory hits Mae Young with the WWF Women's Championship. During the match, The Fabulous Moolah shows up and grabs Ivory's hair when she tries to hit Mae Young with the WWF Women's Championship again.

Mankind is still waiting for The Rock backstage. Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler call The Rock and tell him about what Mankind is doing. The Rock says he doesn't like Mankind or could care less about him, and that if there is any physicality, it will be from him. He will be in the Georgia Dome in a little bit to turn it upside down.

Terry Taylor interviews The British Bulldog, who has no idea why there is a pen of bulldogs in the back, and if is a trick of some sort, he will get the last laugh. He also does not care what The Rock and Mankind do to each other, and come this Sunday, he will beat The Rock and get one step closer to the WWF Championship.

In footage from earlier today, Michael Hayes interviews WWF co-owners Shane and Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says that she is feeling much better physically, and with the exception of the headaches, she feels okay. The most frustrating part, however, is that she can't remember anything that happens to her short-term and she has to write everything down. Tonight was supposed to be her wedding night, but she cannot remember any of the feeling she has for Test. Shane tells her not to blame herself, as everyone knows whose fault this is.

Val Venis attacks Mankind backstage, as does The British Bulldog. Referees and officials have to restore order.

A white limousine is seen pulling up to the arena. Out of the back seat comes "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry, who walks out of the limousine with a young lady. Mark Henry is seen checking her out as they enter the arena.

Edge and Christian and The New Brood (Jeff and Matt Hardy) ends in a double disqualification when both teams continue fighting each other at ringside. Terri Runnels is seen watching from backstage before the match begins.

X-Pac and Kane are backstage. X-Pac tells Kane not to get involved in his match after not listening to him for the last few weeks.

A black limousine pulls up to the arena, and The Rock climbs out to enter the building.

Kevin Kelly interviews The Rock backstage. The Rock says he does not care about Mankind or how he feels about "The Rock 'n Sock Connectino," saying he wipes his ass with how Mankind feels about it. As for The British Bulldog, he will not have his way with him at No Mercy, and that nobody cares about him. He calls The British Bulldog "a nobody" and that he has invited a few "Georgia Bulldog mascots" here later tonight as he has a surprise for him later tonight. When The Rock gets finished, Mankind shows up and wants to know where he stands. The Rock tells Mankind to take his jacket, his mask and his "ten-cent outfit" and roll it up into a ball, but before he can tell Mankind to shove them all up his candy ass, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon intervenes and tells him that he and Mankind have a tag team match later tonight against Val Venis and The British Bulldog. The Rock tells Mankind that he had better win one for "the Scooper."

X-Pac beats Faarooq on his own after sending Faarooq into Bradshaw, who is on the apron arguing with referee Jimmy Korderas. Before the next match, it is announced that Droz has greatly improved, and that there is a message from Droz and his family on WWF.com. After the match, Faarooq and Bradshaw gang up on X-Pac, then Kane shows up. Kane then stands on the apron as Faarooq and Bradshaw both powerbomb X-Pac. After some hesitation, Kane cannot stand it any longer and attacks Faarooq and Bradshaw. Kane helpds X-Pac down from the top rope, but X-Pac shoves him away again.

Jim Ross leaves the commentary table to prepare for his match.

We find out that the woman that "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry arrived to the ring with is his second sex therapist in a week as we see footage from Mark Henry's second sex therapy session. The sex therapist says that Mark Henry is really screwed up, but she can help him. She proposes some special intense overstimulation techniques to tame "the wild sexual beast" in Mark, and they will start tonight.

Michael Cole substitutes for Jim Ross on commentary.

WAR ZONE

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat Chris Jericho and Curtis Hughes after Jericho hits Curtis Hughes and leaves him high and dry again after inadvertently hitting him while trying to break up a pin.

D'Lo Brown talks to Big Show, who is sad as his father has terminal cancer. D'Lo tells him that if he needs him for anything, to let him know.

At the backstage bulldog pen, The Rock has Mankind scoop up bulldog poop and place it on a silver platter for The British Bulldog tonight.

Before the next match, The Godfather shows up with enough hos to surround the ring. Terry Taylor then interviews Dr. Early, Mark Henry's sex therapist, who says that if Mark Henry can focus on his work instead of the women, then he will get on the road to recovery in no time.

The Godfather beats "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry in a ho-jack match. Mark Henry's sex therapist, Dr. Early, is not happy after watching from backstage, and Mark Henry dances with the hos after the match.

Kevin Kelly interviews Triple H and Chyna. Triple H says tonight's match should be a concern for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and that there will be nothing fun happening to Austin and Jim Ross. If Jim Ross wants to stick his nose in his business, then now he is in his business, and says "it's gonna be a good little slobberknocker."

Before the next match, The Big Boss Man says he doesn't care about Big Show's personal problems as he has a bigger problem in him. He tells Big Show to get into the ring and face him.

Big Show beats The Big Boss Man by disqualification after Boss Man uses his nightstick as a wepaon. Al Snow runs in and fights Boss Man as the latter continues to attack Big Show, but Boss Man knocks him out with the nightstick.

Mankind is seen picking up more bulldog poop in the bulldog pen. Meanwhile, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Jim Ross are seen talking backstage.

Triple H and Chyna vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Jim Ross ends in a no-contest. During the match, Austin and Triple H brawl all the way through the crowd and to the outside, leaving Jim Ross and Chyna in the ring. After Chyna hits Jim Ross with a Pedigree, Jeff Jarrett shows up and hits Chyna from behind with a toaster before Miss Kitty wheels in a laundry basket. Jarrett then places Chyna in the laundry basket and wheels the basket to the back. Triple H and Austin return, then Austin lays Triple H at a beer stand and tells him there is a friend he wants him to meet. Austin then celebrates on top of the commentary table and has a few cold ones.

After the break, EMTs tend to a bloodied Chyna.

Before the next match, Mankind brings out the silver platter of bulldog poop.

Mankind and The Rock vs. Val Venis and The British Bulldog in a no-contest. During the match, Mankind chases Val Venis to the back, then The Rock sends The British Bulldog into the bulldog poop with a Rock Bottom. He almost goes for a People's Elbow, but The Bulldog rolls away and The Rock reconsiders at the last second.

Backstage, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is ambushed from behind by Triple H. Both men brawl backstage, then tosses Triple H into a locker room with a rattlesnake inside. Triple H is stuck with the rattlesnake as Austin closes the door behind him, leaving the rattles rattlesnake room pitch black.

After the show goes off the air, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin heads to the the ring and has a few cold ones. He then pours some beer on the bulldog poop, which is still in the ring. Jim Ross shows up and has a beer with Austin, then Austin celebrates some more. He drinks two more beers while lying on the ramp before heading to the back.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 13, 1999

RAW

Big Show and The Undertaker are seen backstage, planning to jump someone as soon as they get in the building. Meanwhile, Kane is seen in a corridor, while Mankind is looking for Triple H and The Rock is also seen backstage. Pat Patterson and Gerald Briscoe are seen asking WWF co-owner Linda McMahon not to head to the ring, but she says she has to take care of family business. Triple H and Chyna make it into the building with a police escort.

Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and WWF co-owner Linda McMahon show up to start the show. Linda says that Triple H dug his own grave last Thursday night, and tonight, he will have to sleep in it. She says there is no question that Kane, The Undertaker, Big Show, Mankind and The Rock all deserve a shot at Triple H and the WWF Championship, but only one men can get it. She announces all five aforementioned men will face off in a five-way no-holds-barred match, where the winner will face Triple H for the WWF Championship at Unforgiven. This begs who will become WWF Champion come Unforgiven, and she says there will be a man who will appear tonight who, while not 100%, has a contractual obligation to demand a championship rematch with Triple H. Should he arrive, Triple H will be defending the title tonight against that man: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Triple H, who is watching from the back along with Chyna and the police escort, says that Linda has "flipped her lid," and heads down to the ring with Chyna and the police escort. Triple H attacks Gerald Brisco, and Chyan hits Pat Patterson with a low blow as the police escort surrounds the ring. Triple H says he doesn't know what Linda is thinking about, and asks if she has flipped her lid. He tells Linda that this is a game she does not want to be in, and tells her to pack her bags and go back to Stamford, Connecticut before she makes him do something he is going to regret. As Linda backs off, Big Show and The Undertaker are seen in the crowd but are stopped by the police escort. The Rock and Mankind are seen coming out through the crowd, but they are stopped by the escort after they hop the barricade. The Kane then shows up from backstage, and this leads to a brawl between all five men while Triple H and Chyna get away along with the police. Afterwards, it is noticed that a steel cage is suspended high above the ring.

Michael Cole interviews Jeff Jarrett, who says that this is all abou t Chyna. Since he says that "these broads are always bitchin' about equality in the workplace," and he is giving it to them. He is then issuing an open challenge to any woman who has the genitalia to step in the ring with him, and he invites Chyna to ringside to get a good look at her future first-hand.

A camera is situated at the entry area of the arena. WWF co-owner Shane McMahon is seen entering the arena.

Michael Cole interviews The Rock and Mankind. The Rock tells Cole it doesn't matter how he feels about the match, and that he is finally back in Anaheim, California in front of the millions of his fans, who will all be chanting his name. He says he will lay the smack down on all the others' candy asses and stick Mankind's mask up his candy ass. Mankind says he has a feeling there will be many painful feelings, and says that it will be up to The Rock to lay the smack down on his candy ass.

Jeff Jarrett, Debra and Miss Kitty show up. Jarrett asks who it's going to be tonight, and says that "if you wear a dress and you relieve yourself in a squatting position, you're getting your ass kicked tonight." He says that women are weak and that men are the dominant species, and if anybody wants to argue they point, all they have to do is come down to the ring. The challenged is answered by Luna Vachon.

Luna Vachon beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification after Tori runs in and hits Luna with Jarrett's guitar. Jarrett confronts Lilian Garcia for announcing he has lost, and forces her into the ring. Lilian trips over the bottom rope, and Jarrett puts her in the Figure Four Leg Lock until referees run into the ring to restore order. Once again, Debra and Miss Kitty are begging for Jarrett to stop.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen making his way into the arena.

Terry Taylor interviews Chyna, who says that she is not impressed with Jeff Jarrett, and that she will walk out of the ring at Unforgiven as Intercontinental Champion. She then says that she and Triple H will soon hammer down a message to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Howard Finkel replaces Lilian Garcia as ring announcer.

Before the next match, Buh Buh Ray Dudley re-introduces himself and D-Von, then D-Von says playtime is over before challenging Faarooq to a Strap Match and telling him to get in the ring. Faarooq runs into the ring, and the match starts.

D-Von Dudley beats Faarooq in a Strap Match after Buh Buh Ray Dudley hits Faarooq in the head with a steel chair while referee Tim White i s dealing with Bradshaw, who has lept onto the apron. After the match, Buh Buh ray hits Bradshaw with the steel steps, then The Dudleys take the boots to Faarooq until Bradshaw grabs a steel chair and hits them with it.

Michael Cole interviews Big Show and The Undertaker. The Undertaker asks Triple H how it feels from going from the unter to the hunted, and says he's so much of an endangered species that The Crocodile Hunter can't save him now. As for Mankind and The Rock, they should be worried more about what they're bringing, as they will be all over them like the leopard pants on the butt of the girl in the front row.

Jim Ross interviews The British Bulldog in the ring. He says that he gave Al Snow the WWF Hardcore Championship because he deserves it, and he wanted to show everyone who didn't think he would make a comeback that he could come back. As he stands in the ring, all the people know he has been the European Champion, the Intercontinental Champion and one-half of the tag team champions, and that he is back for the WWF Championship, which he has never won. He says he will be WWF Champion before he retires. Suddenly, The Big Boss man shows up and says that last Thursday, the Bulldog stuck his nose in his business and that nobody does that to him. He says him being WWF Champion will never happen, since he plans to send him home in a doggy bag before the night is over. Al Snow suddenly shows and asks Boss Man if he got his "love letter" last week, which happened to be a very special challenge to a very special match .Snow admits he may be mentally off once in a while, but thought that since Boss Man enjoyed keeping Pepper in a cage until he cooked him, he decided to put Boss Man's "fat, donut eating ass" in a cage, too. He proposes putting a steel cage on top of the ring, then surround it with the Cell from Hell in a Cell, and have the inner be the first to get out of both cages. Boss Man wants to know if the WWF Hardcore Championship will be on the line, because he will not get in the ring if it is not. He says the title is on the line, and a whole lot more. Boss Man accepts, but says he's going to get a piece of Al Snow right now. Snow says he forgot to mention one thing: a few of "Pepper's family members" will be in the Cell in that match, and he is making sure they haven't eaten for a couple of weeks before the match. He thing brings out a few of them right now. Dog handles bring out dogs, but they are not chihuahuas; they are Rottweilers. Boss Man says he is afraid of nothing, much less the dogs, and says he will get him at Unforgiven. Snow tells Boss Man that revenge is a bitch, and these bitches are in heat," and he will make him pay for what he did to Pepper. The British Bulldog then attacks Boss Man from beihnd, starting a brawl between the two that ends when the Rottweilers are sicced on Boss Man, who runs out through the crowd.

Michael Cole interviews The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) and Terri Runnels. Joey Abs says he and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon go way back, but tonight, he will have to disagree with him and he will kick Test's ass. He tells Test that otnight he will find out what it is like to get in the ring with a real man, and if he wont do it for himself, then may be he can do it for "that tramp fiancee," Stephanie McMahon. He tells Terri to get back in the truck, because this could get nasty.

An angry Triple H is seen backstage.

EMTs are seen running somewhere in the locker room, where WWF co-owner Shane McMahon has been attacked.

Tony Chimel gets in the ring and tells Howard Finkel to leave before the next match.

Before the next match, Joey Abs tells Test this is his one shot and that he wants him in the ring tonight. Test shows up.

Test beats Joey Abs. After the match, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon runs into the abs and tackles Joey Abs. Rodney and Pete Gas respond by attacking Shane. After Test clotheslines Joey Abs out of the ring, Test sends Pete Gas out of the ring before Shane goes after Rodney. Test and Shane then chase after The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) to the back, where they get into a Ford Expedition to go after them outside of the arena.

WAR ZONE

Before the next match, Triple H tells "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that there is nothing he would love more than to get in the ring and kick his ass. Only thing is, he ruined it by ramming him with an ambulance on SmackDown, and says that is aggravated assault. He has signed a warrant for Austin's arrest, and sends his police escort after him. Austin is handcuffed with two sets of handcuffs and arrested, and Triple H and Chyna then get in the ring. Triple H then punches Austin, and Triple H is held back while Austin is hauled off to the back.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen being placed in the back of a squad car as Triple H and Chyna watch. WWF co-owner Linda McMahon - whose cellphone is grabbed out of her hands and thrown to the floor by Triple H - is seen as Triple H, Chyna and the police escort leave.

Before the next match, The Godfather - who is in the ring for the first time in months - offers to have a wrestling match with Chaz, as Chaz's luck with women has not been good lately. (This is the first known instance of The Godfather asking everyone to "roll up a fatty for this pimp daddy" before telling them to say that pimpin' ain't easy.)

The Godfather beats Chaz. During the match, Marianna shows up with tears coming down her face, saying "Chaz, why?" Marianna also has a black eye on the left side of her face as Marianna keeps asking Chaz "Why?" The Godfather proceeds to beat the crap out of Chaz for supposedly physically abusing Marianna.

Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco asks WWF co-owner Linda McMahon to head to a hotel since tonight is going to get worse. Linda says tonight is family business, that she cannot run from anyone and that they cannot be pushed around, and that she is going to stay.

The steel cage has been lowered before the next match. Chris Jericho shows up and checks the integrity of the cage, then welcomes everyone to "Raw Is Jericho." He says "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is a fake and that he doesn't rock, Jericho rocks. Last week, he embarrassed Shamrock once again and destroyed his reputation in front of all his friends, family and "so-called fans." Because he is a heck of a nice guy, he has decided to give him one more lesson and one more chance to realize he is the world's most dangerous man. He says the steel cage is a prison and a "Y2Jail" as well as his specialty. He has scoured the world to find the most proficient shoot fighter he could come across so he can rip him limb from limb and prove he is one bad mamma jamma. He then brings out his opponent: Gotch Gracie. Gotch Gracie - a big man in all black, including a black mask that completely covers his face - shows up and climbs into the cage and the ring.

Chris Jericho beats Gotch Gracie (a portmanteau of Karl Gotch and Royce Gracie) in a Steel Cage Match with the Lion Tamer. During the match, Jericho repeatedly talks into the microphone and puts himself on a pedestal. After the match, jericho says he is not only the master of the greatest submission move in sports entertainment, but also the master of "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock's moves. He then puts Gotch Gracie in an ankle lock submission, then Shamrock shows up. Jericho tries to climb out of the steel cage, but Shamrock grabs him. Suddenly, Gotch Gracie gets up and attacks Shamrock along with Jericho. Jericho then unmasks Gotch Gracie, who is none other than Curtis Hughes aka Mr. Hughes, who in the WWF in 1993 and 1994.

D'Lo Brown and The Godfather talk backstage. D'Lo hands The Godfather a bunch of money.

Michael Cole interviews Chris Jericho, who says that he was trying to teach "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock a lesson and tell him that he would rip him limb from limb, and to prove he was the WWF's most dangerous man, he hired Curtis Hughes to protect Shamrock from Jericho, not the other way around, and says that he will pluck Shamrock's limbs off the next time they meet. If Shamrock has a problem with that, he can take it up with Mr. Hughes.

Big Show vs. The Undertaker vs. The Rock vs. Mankind vs. Kane to determine a #1 contender for the WWF Championship ends in a no-contest. During the match, Mideon and Viscera show up and watch from ringside, and attack Mankind at one point. Later in the match, the referee gets grabbed and knocked down by The Undertaker as he counts a pinfall for Mankind, leaving the match without a referee. Referee Tim White shows up, but he gets attacked by Kane and kicked out of the ring. Two more referees run in, but they get headbutted by Big Show and The Undertaker. Officials then run into the ring, but all of them get beaten up as soon as they get in. Referee Earl Hebner shows up, looks at the carnage, waves his hands downwards as if to say "forget this" and goes back to the back. The Godfather then shows up, but he gets beaten up, too. Crash Holly does not fare well, either, as he eats a choke slam from Big Show. Prince Albert also gets beat up, as does Chaz, Christian, and Stevie Richards. The entire WWF locker room then runs into the locker room, starting a brawl of epic proportions.

Backstage, the referees say they have no control in the ring whatsoever as they are treated by a doctor.

Val Venis and D'Lo Brown vs. "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry ends up being a 2-on-1 handicap match between Blackman and the team of D'Lo and Val Venis when Mark Henry refuses to show up. Also, referee Earl Hebner does not show up until during Blackman's entrance.

D'Lo Brown and Val Venis beat "The Lethal Brown" Steve Blackman in an impromptu 2-on-1 handicap match. After the match, GTV footage shows up on the TitanTron, and it is revealed that The Godfather is entertaining Mark Henry with a pair of hos. Blackman is livid.

Before the next match, Triple H says WWF co-owner Linda McMahon needs to take care of family business, but this personal and they have some business to take care. He warns her not to bring any more innocent people into this, and make him and Chyna beat up Pat Patterson and Gerlad Brisco again. He demands that Linda show up in the ring right now. Linda shows up, and Triple H says he is trying to be nice as he likes her, and asks her to tell everyone what happened tonight and how "Stone Cold" Steve Austin forfeited his shot at the WWF Championship when he got arrested. Linda says she will not do that, and she refuses again. Suddenly, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon's music hits, but it's not Shane...it's WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, who has not been seen since the Raw after Fully Loaded. Vince confronts Triple H, saying he would not interfere in WWF business again, but this is not business; it is personal. He calls Triple a son-of-a-bitch and asks him who the hell he thinks he is, and says he needs a reminder of who gave him the break and the opportunity to become WWF Champion. Vince throws his jacket at Triple H, and Triple H and Vince are about to fight when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin runs out and fights Triple H. Vince McMahon gets out of the ring with Linda and they both hightail it to the back.

Triple H retains the WWF Championship against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin by disqualification. During the match, Austin punches referee Earl Hebner for not letting him use a steel chair to cripple Triple H. Nevertheless, Triple H and Austin brawl on the ramp until the steel cage starts coming down again. Austin sends Triple H into the cage, and their brawl continues there before Austin hits Triple H with a Stone Cold Stunner.

After the show goes off the air, Austin continues to celebrate in the steel cage. Triple H drinks the beer than Austin fails to catch, then Austin hits him with another Stone Cold Stunner as he drinks it. Austin then celebrates with more beer, then kicks his knee braces off as Triple H gets up. Austin catches a few more beers, drinks, then offers another to Triple H. Both men have a toast and drink, then Austin hits Triple H with another Stunner before heading to the back.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 2, 1999

RAW

The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) walk out to the ring as soon as the opening pyro is finished. Bradshaw calls out Big Show and The Undertaker, saying they will stay in the ring until they show up. He says that last night on Sunday Night Heat, The Undertaker had no idea what he started. Faarooq says that The Undertaker keeps talking about Armageddon, and says that the world might come to an end, but so will 'Taker and Big Show. Instead of getting Big Show or The Undertaker, they get Hardcore Holly instead. He tells The Acolytes to consider this their unlucky night, as they are not here yet, but he is. Bradshaw asks Holly which of The Acolytes gets to hand him his ass, but Holly wants both of them, and tells them to either "nut up or shut up" before getting in the ring. The Acolytes unsurprisingly destroy him.

Big Show, The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are seen entering the arena.

We see footage from earlier tonight where Terry Taylor interviewing Edge. Edge says Christian is his own flesh and blood, and he is in disbelief, hurt and heartbroken, but he is also angry. Christian has made his decision, and now he has to live with it.

Edge beats Gangrel in a Blood Bath Match. During the match, Gangrel grabs the bucket of blood, but the lights go out. When they come back on, Gangrel is covered in blood and Christian is standing over Gangrel. Edge and Christian embrace after the match.

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin are seen entering the arena.

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up. Shane reveals that he was at home last week watching WWF co-owner Vince McMahon make his last television appearance, seeing fit to walk off his own never to be seen on television again. He had hopes the fans would pay proper respect to Vince, saying he was deserving of a farewell party like that of Wayne Gretzky a better farewell than Michael Jordan, but instead Jim Ross sang him out of the arena. He says everyone is indebted to Vince in one way or another, as he made the WWF what it is today: the best-built brand in the sports entertainment world that is more recognizable than Disney or Time Warner; without him, there would be no WWF or anything that flourished because of it, especially "Ted Turner's WCW wrasslin'," nor their entire roster, which Vince created a long time ago. Now that Vince is gone, he will let the entire volcano of chaos erupt. In the meantime, he has been talking to Triple H, who guarantees that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will jump out of his own body and watch Triple H pin him to win the WWF Championship in an out-of-body experience, guaranteeing that Triple H will live up to his promises. He then says The Corporate Ministry is free to do whatever they want to whomever they want until he deems it necessary to bring them back together, as he is focusing only on Test. He knows Test is backstage, and warns him again to stay away from his sister, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon. Test shows up and says he told Shane to stay out of his business once, but he didn't listen, and now he is making him and The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) his business. It started with Pete Gas last week, and it will continue with Rodney and Joey Abs until he gets to him. After that, all their problems will be gone, because Stephanie will be an only child.

Al Snow is seen with Head and the chihuahua that he met last week. He tells the chihuahua that Head - who no longer has a railroad spike driven through them - cannot fit down the toilet...although Head got a nice swirly.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James and Kane are seen heading to the ring backstage. Road Dogg is wondering if Kane is paying attention to anything that he is saying.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James may be dumber than a dog to get in the ring with Big Show and The Undertaker, but he's lean, he's neon green and he's got The Big Red Machine.

Big Show and The Undertaker beat "Road Dogg" Jesse James and Kane after Big Show stops a Tombstone Piledriver by Kane. Big Show splashes Kane after the match, then The Acolytes show up only to be attacked from behind with a baseball bat by Hardcore Holly. Holly then tells Big Show and The Undertaker that this is the last time he is saving them. As he heads to the back, The Acolytes chase after him.

The Rock is seen heading to the arena, punking out a fan and handing the guy carrying his bags a $700 tip. We then footage from yesterday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where The Rock threw the first pitch for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team.

It is announced that there is a rumor that Jesse "The Body" Ventura will be on Raw next week.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn and Chyna show up. Billy Gunn says he has come here to talk about ass, and one in particular: "The People's Ass," The Rock. He says his ass is everything The Rock wishes his was: beautiful, elegant and well-manicured. Earlier today, he caught The Rock coming out of the shower and he took a picture of his ass so the fans can see it. We then see footage of a man's ass that is not The Rock's ass. He says the fans can either cheer that, or they can kiss his royal ass. Suddenly, The Rock shows up on the TitanTron, and says that's not his ass, and tells him that is video footage of Billy Gunn's "fat-ass mama." He also says that if he catches him and Chyna together, he will take a can of Diet Coke and a feminine napkin, turn the both sideways and stick them straight up their candy asses. He then says that if he hits Billy Gunn, he will kill him. If he misses, the wind behind the punch will give him pneumonia, and he will die anyway, so the choice is Gunn's. He then says that Billy Gunn now recognizes The Rock is the people's champ, the people's choice and the most electrifying man In sports entertainment today. (This is also the first time that the "la-la-la-la" after "smell" in "If you smell what The Rock is cookin'" is heard.

We see footage of D'Lo Brown getting "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry to eat healthy to get his blood pressure down. Mark is unhappy about the lack of meat, butter or sauce.

WAR ZONE

D'Lo Brown retains the WWF European Championship and wins the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Jeff Jarrett to become the first man to hold both titles at the same time. During the match, it is announced that due to the disbanding of The Corporate Ministry, Viscera will take on The Big Boss Man in a Hardcore Match later tonight. Later in the match, referee Tim White is inadvertently knocked out as D'Lo Brown hits the Sky High, and Debra gets into the ring to distract D'Lo Brown. D'Lo takes the Intercontinental Championship off the mat and whacks Jarrett in the head with it, then wins the match to become a double champion. After the match, Jeff Jarrett and Debra argue, and Jarrett blames Debra for his loss tonight.

We see footage during the break where Terry Taylor interviews Jeff Jarrett, who says he is not Intercontinental Championship because of Debra, and tells her to get out. He tells D'Lo Brown he wants his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, saying Debra beat him and not D'Lo Brown.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen heading to the ring backstage.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up. He says he was sitting in the back last week when he heard what Triple H had to say about beating him at SummerSlam, and calls bullcrap on that and Triple H saying he knows Austin like the back of his hand. He says Triple H can come to SummerSlam with a PhD in his pocket or as the smartest man in the world, as he will still whip his ass. All of a sudden, Big Show and The Undertaker show up with Paul Bearer. The Undertaker says everyone knows Austin can talk the talk, but wants to know if he can walk the walk, and says that if he does not get a return match for the WWF Championship, he and Big Show will stomp a mudhole in his ass. They then attack Austin before he even has a chance to answer, then leave.

Michael Cole announces that he will interview "Stone Cold" Steve Austin about the attack on him by Big Show and The Undertaker following the next match.

The Big Boss Man retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against Viscera after pulling out his telescopic baton.

Michael Cole interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who tells The Undertaker that if he wants a rematch for the WWF Championship, he's got it. He also tells Big Show to get into the ring, too, as he has a can of whupass for both of them.

Triple H is seen backstage.

We see footage from during the break where Chyna tells Triple H that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is defending the WWF Championship against The Undertaker tonight. Triple H does not take the news very well at all.

Rodney and Joey Abs assault test before Rodney vs. Test can begin.

Test beats Rodney after two elbow drops to the arm before putting him in a hammerlock submission. During the match, it is announced that The Undertaker vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for the WWF Championship later tonight will be a no-holds-barred, anything goes match. After the match, Test puts Rodney's arm through a steel chair and stomps on the arm from the second rope. Joey Abs shows up, but Test still has the steel chair and Joey Abs thinks twice about stepping in the ring with him. Test then smashes Rodney's injured arm into the ring post with the steel chair before leaving.

Michael Cole interviews Triple H, and says that tonight, it is no longer Triple H's time and is instead The Undertaker's time. Triple H puts his hands on Cole and says that the WWF Championship match tonight will not be happening and that he is not walking into the building to find out his championship opportunity has slipped away.

Big Show and The Undertaker are seen talking backstage.

Before the next match, "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman shows footage of him running over "The World's Most Dangerous Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock last week, and says that he did not know Shamrock was standing there when he backed up. He says he does not need a car to beat up Ken Shamrock and that he only needs he needs his hands and feet, hence why he is called "The Lethal Weapon." Val Venis then shows up and says "The Big Valbowski" and the Internet have a lot in common. They are both easy to get on, they both comes in many different languages and the only difference is that when you're done downloading The Big Valbowski, you will walk out funny but you will walk out virus-free.

"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman vs. Val Venis ends with "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock chasing Blackman all the way out of the ring, through the crowd and into the building with a chain in his hands. WWF head of security Jim Dotson - who has been seen in just about every episode of Raw so far in the Attitude Era - tries to subdue him, and referees end up holding Shamrock back just long enough with the help of Sgt. Slaughter for Blackman to get away. Shamrock manages to break out of their grasp, having already snapped.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen heading to the ring again backstage.

The Undertaker vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin ends before it can begin after Triple H gets in the ring as Austin makes his way to the ring, and tells The Undertaker that this match is not happening due to him being the #1 contender for the WWF Championship. He tells The Undertaker that if he wants Austin, he'll have to get through him, and says that he will beat kick Austin's ass for the WWF Championship. Austin gets in the ring and brawls with Triple H, and it is not long before Big Show and The Undertaker get involved. The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) also get in the ring and fight The Undertaker along with Austin. Kane then gets in the ring and fights Big Show, and "Road Dogg" Jesse James shows up to fight Triple H, Hardcore Holly shows up and goes after The Acolytes, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn runs in and goes after Austin, then The Rock runs in and goes after Billy Gunn. The brawling spreads out around the ring, and the show ends before Austin and Triple H can stare down.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 12, 1999

RAW

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up to start tonight's show. He knows that WWF co-owner Vince McMahon can hear him from backstage, and says he has had his attorneys draw up the contract and make sure that it is iron-clad that when he wins, Vince will be gone. As far as The Undertaker busting him wide open goes, that does not even need to be brought up. He then tells Vince to come down to the ring so they can sign the contract. Vince shows up in a wheelchair, and wheels down to the ring. Austin asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they think Vince looks completely pathetic, then leaves the ring and places it on a table in front of the ring. He tells Vince to sign the contract. Before Vince signs, he lets everyone know for the record that he was recently involved in a motorcycle accident and sustained multiple injuries, but nothing would keep him from coming here and signing the contract. Vince pulls out his own pen and reading glasses, but says he will not sign it unless Austin signs it first, as he does not trust him. Austin says he will sign it, but only if Vince gives him his property first: his custom-made "smoking skull" WWF Championship. He says they can do this the hard way, which is handing the property over, or they can do it the hard way, which involves shoving the contract so far up Vince's ass he'll have to open his mouth to sign it. After Austin tells Vince to get one of his flunkies to send him the title, Kane suddenly shows up, and Vince asks Austin to wheel him up the ramp. All of a sudden, The Undertaker shows up from behind and attacks Austin from behind with the "smoking skull" belt. The Undertaker attacks Austin until Austin's head is busted open, and Vince is heard telling The Undertaker to "bust him open." Vince then hands 'Taker a fountain pen, and The Undertaker collects some of Austin's blood with it. He hands the pen to Vince, who then signs the contract in Austin's own blood and leaves with The Undertaker.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin has to receive stitches backstage, and Austin yells at the EMTs to get the doctor as he has some business to take care of.

Edge vs. Gangrel ends on the stage, where Gangrel pushes Edge into the recess where his entrance elevator is at, which is surrounded by fire.

A doctor checks on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's head wound backstage. Austin finds out he has a complex laceration that will require ten to twelve stitches to close. Austin does not care.

This Wednesday at 11 AM Eastern, 10 AM central, a SummerSlam press conference will be held in the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is announced that Jesse "The Body" Ventura will be returning to the ring at SummerSlam.

X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James tar and feather ring announcer Howard Finkel backstage for ratting out where they were to the police last week before heading to the ring. X-Pac then calls out Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, saying that if their "corporate kiss-asses" want to take the D-Generation X, they will have to take their last breaths to get it, for at Fully Loaded, their asses are grass, and he's going to smoke them. Road Dogg says that they bleed neon green, and that's it what's in their hearts, not what's in their wallets, and they will continue represent D-Generation X. Kane suddenly shows up and gets in the ring, and X-Pac wants to know what's going on with him. X-Pac tells Kane he knows Kane is confused, but he cannot let The Undertaker manipulate him like he has in the past. If he wants anything to do with The Undertaker, he wants nothing to do with Kane, and tells Kane he has to make a choice. Suddenly, Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn show up and attack all of them, then The Undertaker shows up and cleans house until he and Kane stare down in the middle of the ring. The Undertaker tells Kane that he is his brother, and he will not make him choice and that he would never ask him to. As The Undertaker leaves, Kane leaves the ring, but stops short of walk ing up the ramp.

Michael Cole reports that he will interview Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn after the next match.

Before the next match, Val Venis says "The Big Valbowski" is a lot like Mick Foley, as he is hard to beat and he never, ever seems to want to stay down.

Val Venis and The Godfather beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) by disqualification after Michael Hayes hits Val Venis in the back with a tag team title belt to break up a pinfall. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. After the match, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) attack The Hardys from behind, and this starts a brief brawl between all three teams that referees quickly break up.

Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn says they are the real D-Generation X and are getting ripped off, as they own everything. Triple H says that if X-Pac and "Road Dogg" want to lay claim to everything DX, they'll have to take it at Fully Loaded. Tonight, they're going to kick their asses just for the fun of it, and Triple H tells X-Pac and Road Dogg to bring "the big red retard" Kane with them if they can get Kane's nose out of The Undertaker's ass.

Jeff Jarrett and Debra are seen backstage, while "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is seen leaving the medical room with his head stitched up and bandaged.

We see a vignette for Tori.

Jeff Jarrett and Debra show up. Jarrett says he has a load of news for everyone, and until everyone starts showing him the proper respect, then Debra's puppies are going to stay in his doghouse and only he will dictate when they come out to play. Suddenly, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - the bandage still on his head - runs in and hits Jarrett with a Stone Cold Stunner after Debra gets out of the ring. Austin says that if The Undertaker wants his blood, then he wants a piece of The Undertaker's ass tonight in this ring, with no rules, no referee and anything goes. As Austin leaves the ring, Big Show comes out. He tells Austin to think about this, and tells him that it's going to be him, The Undertaker and Kane as 'Taker has recruited Kane and it will more or less be a handicap match. Austin may not want his help, but he wants to kick The Undertaker and Kane's asses just as much as Austin does, and he proposes teaming together to send them to Hell. Austin tells Big Show that if he can get his ass in the ring, then somebody's going to get their ass whipped, and that's the bottom line because he said so. Jarrett gets back in the ring, and as soon as he tells the guys in the back to cut Austin's music, Austin runs abck into the ring and hits Jarrett with another Stunner.

WAR ZONE

Before the next match, Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn come out to D-Generation X (X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James)'s theme despite not being part of DX, and Kane fails to show up for the match. Triple H says that if the big goof isn't going to make it, he cuts them a little deal where if X-Pac and Road Dogg give him, Chyna and Gunn the rights to D-Generation X, they won't kick their asses. X-Pac tells them to suck it. Suddenly, The Rock shows up and runs into the ring, replacing Kane as he tries to get a piece of Triple H.

D-Generation X (X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James) and The Rock beat Triple H, Chyna and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn.

Terry Taylor interviews Droz and Prince Albert backstage. Droz says life is about experiment, growing and doing something a little different as he wears a dress. He plans to have an Evening Gown Match where the first man stripped to his bra and panties is the loser. He then heads to the locker room to wax his bikini line.

The Undertaker is seen talking to Kane backstage.

Droz heads to the ring and asks who is man enough to accept his challenge for an Evening Gown match. Suddenly, Al Snow shows - in a dress - with Head. He says they have heard a challenge, and since they need a challenge and faced some little people last night, they can't look any more ridiculous now and will take the match if it is hardcore rules. Droz accepts.

Al Snow beats Droz in a hardcore rules Evening Gown Match after clamping onto Droz's privates with a pair of salad tongs. After the match, Snow clamps Droz in the privates with a salad tongs. After the match, Snow hits Droz with a steel chair before elbow dropping him through a table, and Prince Albert hammers a railroad spike into the top of Head's head.

We see footage from earlier tonight where "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry is back only to find out his blood pressure is 190/120. Henry cannot compete tonight.

The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) show up. Faarooq says "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown left the arena because they knew he and Bradshaw would kick their asses. Faarooq then demands an opponent, saying that they came here tonight to kick somebody's ass. Bradshaw says they came here for a fight, and if nobody wants to approach the ring, then somebody had better get ready as they are coming to the back. As they head backstage, Hardcore Holly shows up and fights both of them on his own. Not surprisingly, The Acolytes wallop him until Big Show shows up and carries Holly to the stage. Holly is dazed, saying that he had the match under control.

Joey Abs is seen talking to WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon on GTV, saying he was a jerk before but is a changed man now, asking her for one more chance. Stephanie slaps Joey Ryan, saying she only went out with him only for his brother, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon. She tells Joey to stay away from her.

The Gauntlet Match between Test and The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) ends after WWF co-owner Shane McMahon runs into the ring and attacks before "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman gets a piece of Test. Suddenly, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock - now back following suffering internal injuries - fights Blackman and takes their brawl to the back before Shane and the Posse attempt to break Test's ankle with a steel chair clamped onto the foot, with Shane elbowing a few referees who try to get to him from behind. WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon rushes in and grabs Shane from behind, but Shane elbows her from behind and turns around only to find out it is Stephanie. Shane and the Posse immediately help Stephanie to the back.

We see some footage from during the commercial break where "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock brawl backstage.

Michael Cole interviews The Undertaker and Kane. The Undertaker says he and Kane are together as one once again. He says blood is thicker than water, and at Fully Loaded, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's blood will flow, as he will make him suffer. He plans to bust Austin's head open, and he also might drink some blood from the cut. He says that tonight, Austin will get a sample of what is to come at Fully Loaded, and he will not only see it...but he will feel it.

Only 671 hours and ten minutes to the millennium...which is in less than a month. Huh?

Kane shows up with a turnbuckle bolt - the same weapon Big Show struck him with last night on Sunday Night Heat - in his hand as heads to the ring before the next match. When Big Show shows up, The Undertaker and Kane go after him, and Kane tries to make use of that turnbuckle bolt only to fail to do so.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Big Show beat The Undertaker and Kane. During the match, Kane knocks Big Show out with a blow to the back of the head with a turnbuckle bolt. Austin tries to fight Kane and The Undertaker off, but he ends up getting choke slammed by Kane, knocking off the bandage around his head. Big Show gets back up and fights back against Kane as The Undertaker chokes Austin with his own shirt before trying to bust Austin open again with a steel chair. Austin dodges the chair shots and fights back, then gets back in the ring and fights Kane. Kane gets the upper hand, and The Undertaker busts Austin open again. This does not stop Austin, who hits Kane with a Stone Cold Stunner for the pinfall as The Undertaker and Big Show brawl outside of the ring.

After the show goes the air, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Big Show give each other a high five, then celebrate with some cold beer. After this, Big Show heads to the back, but Austin runs back into the ring with him for one more round and to clean some of the blood off his head and face with aforementioned beer. He then lays on the ramp on the way to the back and tries to drink three beers at one time.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 28, 1999

RAW

The Corporate Ministry arrives to start tonight's show. Glitter and balloons are seen dropping down from the ceiling of the arena. WWF co-owner Vince McMahon says tonight is a night of celebration, as The Corporate Ministry celebrates the good times and the McMahon celebrate the removal and total dejection of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He guarantees that nobody will ever forget tonight he and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon kicked Austin's ass, and now they have total control of the World Wrestling Federation. As such, Shane has an official announcement: Austin is fired as CEO of the World Wrestling Federation. Vince then announces that Austin will go all the way back to the bottom of the ladder where he started, but tells the fans not to despair as Austin is here tonight and will compete in the ring in a preliminary match-up before he disassembles the ring after the show. Vince then says that he and The Ministry are also celebrating The Undertaker's sheer, utter supremacy, as The Rock smelled what he was cooking and it curled his upper lift. He also announces that they are celebrating the total harmony of The Corporate Ministry, saying that there are no cracks in the Corporate Ministry before inviting The Undertaker to defend the WWF Championship at Fully Loaded against fellow Corporate Ministry member Triple H. He says they will celebrate like no other night, and that this is a night that everyone will remember forever. Suddenly, The Big Boss Man shows up - to his old theme music - but Vince tells The Corporate Ministry to stay back as he tells them he has got this. He asks if The Big Boss Man is man enough to take on him and Shane. Boss Man gets in the ring, takes the microphone from Vince, and says "I love you guys." Shane and The Corporate Ministry take Boss Man back, then Shane tells Austin that McMahon 6:32 states "Payback's a bitch." Suddenly, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up. He says there is not much use in talking about last night's match, as the pictures at the beginning show what happened. He says it was a bunch of B.S., but knowing Vince and Shane like he does and knowing that he might get screwed, he has taken out "an insurance policy." Last night, before the main event, he wrote himself a new contract where he has given himself a big pay raise, changed the clause stating that he can only attack Vince when provoked so that it states he can hit him any time he wants and that Vince cannot do anything about it, and if Vince does not come to work, he can come to his house and punch him right in the mouth, and Vince cannot do anything about it, either. He also states that while CEO, he stated that there would be a certain time and place where he would become WWF Champion again, and picked here on Raw tonight to be the time and place for his WWF Championship match. He then asks the crowd to give him a "hell yeah" if they want to see him face The Undertaker for the WWF Championship. He also announces that if anyone in The Corporate Ministry gets with in ten feet of the ring, The Undertaker will be disqualified and he will become the WWF Champion.

Before the next match, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock says WWF co-owner Vince McMahon must think he is cute setting things up tonight, and states that Vince set someone up to attack him last night. He makes it very clear to Vince that he can keep sending men out and he will go after him. He then calls out "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and tells him to bring all his weapons, as the only two he needs are his fists.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman in a Weapons Match ends when Blackman incapacitates Shamrock yet again and walks to the back.

Backstage, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is seen bleeding internally and snapping on an official. We then see footage from during the commercial break where "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman leaves the arena.

Michael Cole interviews "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn. He says it's "Bad Ass" and not "B.A." because "bad ass" is what he is. He then announces that last week, he became half of the tag team champions because The Acolytes did not have the balls to step up to the challenge and he never backs down. He then beat three men who were at the top of their game to become the 1999 King of the Ring. He says tht he is no longer carrying other men on his back, and that it is now all about him. After being told that Bradshaw is coming to the ring to take back his half of the tag team titles, Gunn says that is not happening as there is an open invitation to anyone who wants to come into his yard. Suddenly, Triple H and Chyna show up, and Triple H tells Billy Gunn they have no beef with other and that this is strictly business. Triple H says that this is about his financial future, and asks him if he has gotten his royalty check lately, as he and Chyna have and they both seem to be lower than they should be as of late. When he asked about it, he found out that "Road Dogg" Jesse James and X-Pac are claiming all rights and privileges to D-Generation X, which means that Road Dogg and X-Pac are getting all all the DX royalties. He says that he, Chyna and Gunn were DX, and carried them around only to have them profit from it. He has talked to WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, and if they want it, they will have to take it. He is busy gunning for the WWF Championship right now, but he is loaning him Chyna's services so that they go after what is rightfully theirs. He says DX is rightfully theirs and they don't want anything else but the money, and asks Gunn and Chyna to grab all the cash and bring it home. Gunn says he's got it. He then tells the production crew in the back to play the D-Generation X theme, then The Rock shows up and fights off both Triple H and Billy Gunn until referees and officials run in for the pull-apart.

We see footage from earlier tonight where Michael Cole interviews Chaz, the man formerly known as Mosh as well as Harry "Beaver" Cleavage, about him breaking character last week. Standing next to him is his girlfriend Marianna, the woman formerly known as June Cleavage. Chaz states that with all due respect to Michael Cole and WWF's creative team, he has been down "gimmick road" before. Through the support of Marianna, he is now striking out on his own as himself. He is Chaz, a kid from New Jersey who just wants to have fun, and that is what he is going to do.

We see footage from GTV where Test and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon are seen leaving a Marriott hotel. Test and Stephanie kiss, then they get in a car parked outside. The car then drives off.

Chaz beats Meat in his first match as himself after Terri Runnels gets on the apron to distract the referee only for Chaz' girlfriend Marianna to get on the apron and push her off, distracting Meat. During the match, it is announced that WWF co-owners Vince and Shane McMahon have signed a match for later tonight between The Rock and Triple H.

Terry Taylor interviews Test when The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, the unknown third man) and Shane McMahon brutally attack Test.

Hardcore Holly shows up. He tells Big Show that last week, he threw a car on him, and asks if that is the best he has got, because he missed. He will get back to him, because he has bigger fish to fry. He then says that Kane does not know who he is, and that he is the big shot. If Kane wants some of him, then he can fight him face to face as he is ready to fight him. Kane immediately accepts the challenge.

Hardcore Holly beats Kane. During the match, Big Show shows up, but instead of going after Hardcore Holly, he choke slams Kane in revenge for what happened last night at King of the Ring as the referee keeps Hardcore Holly in the corner. After the match, Hardcore Holly taunts Kane, and Kane gets back up and choke slams Hardcore Holly four times. Referees have to help Holly out of the ring.

WAR ZONE

Before the next match, The Rock talks about how he beat The Undertaker not once, but twice last night, and relishes in the fact that The Undertaker woke up this morning with a new tattoo on the back of his 33-pound head stating that The Rock took his hand, turned it sideways and stuck it straight up his candy ass. He also says that Triple H does not have enough hair on his roody-poo candy ass to get in the ring with him so that The Rock can serve him a nice Rock Burger a nice, freshly-squeezed glass of monkey piss to go along with it.

The Rock vs. Triple H ends after "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn shows up and hits The Rock in the head with a club.

As Michael Cole says that an update on The Rock's condition is forthcoming, he chances upon Prince Albert and Droz attacking Val Venis backstage. Referee and officials separate Albert and Droz from Venis.

Edge beats The Godfather. During the match, Prince Albert and Droz show up and watch the match from ringside, and it is not long before Droz gets on the apron to distract the referee and Prince Alberto slams The Godfather onto the mat before Edge can knock Droz off the apron and hit The Godfather with a Spear. It is also announced The Rock has suffered a concussion and that he has been taken to a local hospital. After the match, Albert and Droz tie The Godfather to the ropes, and when The Godfather's hos get in the ring only for one of them to be readied for a tongue piercing, Edge and The Godfather fight Albert and Droz off. The ho in question thanks Edge, and Edge, The Godfather and the hos all leave together. After this, Gangrel is seen below the mezzanine, shaking his head.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn is seen talking to somebody in the locker room, saying he will come and get that person when he needs them. The person he is talking to is not revealed in any way.

Bradshaw beats "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn after Faarooq inadvertently hits Bradshaw in the face with his own title belt and X-Pac blindsides Gunn to regain possession of his half of the WWF Tag Team Championships. After the match, Chyna runs into the ring and attacks X-Pac from behind before sending him into the ring and taking the boots to him. "Road Dogg" Jesse James shows up and fights off both Gunn and Chyna, and he and X-Pac clean house.

Michael Cole says that he will soon interview WWF co-owner Vince McMahon about the turn of events involving "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at the beginning of the show.

Before the next match, Ivory shows up and says that they have a real WWF Women's Champion and not a "Barbie doll lipstick loser." She does not walk it, talk it or take it off, she just does it. The only problem she sees is that there is no competition in the WWF, and wants tonight to be special. She has decided to shake things up by issuing an open challenge to anybody in the audience who has what it takes to become a champion. Suddenly, a woman jumps over the guardrail and security tries to stop her, but Ivory tells security to let her in. (The woman in question is portrayed by professional women's wrestler Malia Hosaka, who is in WWF on a developmental contract.) As soon as she gets in the ring, she changes her mind, and when Ivory attacks her, she strikes back. It is not long before Nicole Bass grabs this woman by the hair and powerbombs her. Ivory stops Nicole Bass before she can do more damage, then clotheslines the woman. Head of WWF security Jim Dotson finally pulls Ivory off the woman.

Michael Cole interviews WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, who says that last night, he and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon took the heart out of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and that they are not worried about Austin.

Debra tosses a "Show Me Your Puppies!" T-shirt to Jerry "The King" Lawler before the next match.

Jeff Jarrett retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against X-Pac. During the match, Debra gets on the apron, and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn gets in the ring tohit X-Pac with Jarrett's guitar only to be roundhouse kicked by X-Pac. After Debra unbuttons her top, X-Pac then nails Jarrett in the head with the guitar, but Debra is still on the apron. As X-Pac confronts Debra, Billy Gunn gets back in the ring and hits X-Pac with a Fameasser, allowing Jarrett to get the win. Gunn then proceeds to continue attacking X-Pac after the match, and "Road Dogg" Jesse James to go after Gunn only for Chyna to get in the ring and even the odds. Referees and officials have to restore order.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin beats The Undertaker to become the WWF Champion for a fourth time. Before the match, it is announced that WWF will be on the Home Shopping Network after Raw goes off the air. During the match, Austin hits The Undertaker with a Stone Cold Stunner, but Paul Bearer drags referee Earl Hebner out of the ring before making the three-count. Austin manages to hit the Stunner again, but this time Bearer does not drag Hebner out of the ring again and Austin wins the WWF Championship. The Undertaker attacks Austin after the match as referees try to stop the inevitable brawl, and Austin is busted open. Both men continue to fight as the show ends.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 31, 1999

RAW

Druids are seen carrying an Undertaker symbol to the ring as The Corporate Ministry show up. Paul Bearer is seen carrying "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's custom-made WWF Championship. WWF co-owner Shane McMahon says it was his right hand that changed the course of WWF history forever, for as the appointed official for Over The Edge's WWF Championship, it was Austin who felt his ultimate power as he made the fast count that cost him the title. He says he did to Austin exactly what he said he would do, but tonight, there is one more thing. The Undertaker tells Austin regardless of whether or not he wants to accept it, he says that he beat up Austin all over Kansas City, Missouri, that he is WWF Champion and that there is nothing he can do about it. He says the WWF Championship was merely "phase one," and that "phase two" has begun. The Undertaker says he promised he would deliver "him" mind, body and soul. He says "the higher power" will be here, and that he will take Austin and deliver Austin to him. Austin will look into his eyes and see his lord, savior and guiding light, as it is his destiny. He says Austin will be presented with the most pride that anyone can present a gift with, and in front of all the fans, he will know he is his lord and master. Suddenly, WWF co-owner Vince McMahon shows up and tells The Undertaker and Shane that he hoped they enjoyed their moment in basking in their glory, as it will only be just a moment. He says that The Undertaker did not beat Austin for the WWF Championship; instead, he screwed him. Therefore, he will screw The Undertaker. Tonight, The Undertaker will defend the WWF Championship against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Shane tells Vince he is in control of half the company and that he calls the shots, and says The Undertaker would be happy to annihilate Austin tonight, just not for the WWF Championship. Vince says Austin will wipe the mat with The Undertaker's carcass tonight, title or no title, and that Austin will kick The Undertaker's ass. Before Austin kicks The Undertaker's ass tonight, he challenges The Undertaker to a match against him after all that he has done to his own family. He may not get all of The Undertaker, but tonight, he's going to get some. Shane says that Vince has finally found his grapefruits, and announces that if Vince is able to beat The Undertaker somehow tonight, the WWF Championship will be defended against Austin; however, if anybody in the back, even The Union (Mankind, Test, Big Show, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock) or Austin himself, Austin will not get his title shot. Vince tells Shane's he's on, as he has everything to gain and almost nothg to lose. Vince leaves, then Shane says Vince has nothing to lose except maybe a few teeth, then says Austin has quite a bit to lose, because if Austin does not win tonight, he will never get a shot at the WWF Championship again. As The Corporate Ministry leaves, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up, but he is revealed to have been one of the druids who has brought the Undertaker symbol into the ring. The Union shows up and evens the odds as soon as Austin gets attacked. The Union and Austin stand tall in the ring as referees and officials show up and keep The Corporate Ministry out.

Backstage, Austin shoves Test as The Union (Mankind, Test, Big Show, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock) follow close behind.

Big Show beats "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn by count-out when Gunn runs out of the match. After the bell rings, he is stopped by "Road Dogg" Jesse James, who tosses Gunn into the ring and into a choke slam by Big Show.

Harry "Beaver" Cleavage is seen with his mom - in living color - backstage. Beaver is scared because this is his first match, and says "These guys are hippies!" His mom tells him he will be right there with him. Beaver then looks into the camera and moves his eyebrows up and down.

Backstage, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco tell WWF co-owner Vince McMahon that he is in a no-win situation, but Vince says he just wants to get whatever he can of The Undertaker before telling them to stay out of this.

Harry "Beaver" Cleavage beats Christian after Mrs. Cleavage distracts the referee while The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and Michael Hayes run out so that Hayes can whack Christian in the head with his cane. After the match, Christian hits a suicide dive off the top rope on Hayes and the Hardys, but it is not long before the three of them attack Christian. Gangrel and Edge rush in to even the numbers game, and send the Hardys flying out of the ring before surrounding Hayes, who is helped out of the ring by the Hardys.

The Undertaker tells WWF co-owner that nothing - not "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, not WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, not anybody - will stop him from completing the vow that he has made.

Before the next match, The Godfather reminds Jeff Jarrett that he has something that belongs to him - Debra - and that after he gets done kicking his ass, he, Debra and the Intercontinental title are going to ride on the ho train. He also goes on to say that when Debra is his, everyone is going to see those puppies.

Jeff Jarrett beats The Godfather to become the WWF Intercontinental Champion for a fourth time. (The belt and the match was originally meant for Over The Edge and Owen was supposed to win the belt as The Blue Blazer. After Owen's death, Jarrett is booked to win the title in Owen's memory.) During the match, Debra gets on the ring apron and takes off her jacket to show her puppies, then The Godfather directs everyone's attention to one of his own hos, who is also showing her puppies. This allows Debra to hand Jarrett the WWF Women's Championship to use as a weapon behind the referee's back, which he does.

Paul Bearer is seen laughing at the possibility of Vince McMahon having a match against The Undertaker becoming a reality as he and The Undertaker make their way to the ring.

Vince McMahon beats The Undertaker by disqualification when The Undertaker shoves the referee as he takes the boots to Vince in the corner. During the match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is watching from the locker room. After the match, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco check on Vince, but The Undertaker takes his anger out on them before chasing the referee through the crowd. As per pre-match stipulation, The Undertaker will be defending the WWF Championship against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin later tonight.

Michael Cole interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who says that he has never asked for the assist from anyone after being told that Vince McMahon has saved his shot at the WWF Championship tonight.

WAR ZONE

Mankind shows up. He says The Corporate Ministry tried to take out WWF co-owner Vince McMahon, and then says it's time for The Union (Mankind, Test, Big Show, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock) to get some payback. He calls out "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, challenging him to a match where there are no disqualifications and pinfalls count anywhere in the building. He has two good reasons: the first is that Triple H did a good pipe job on him, and he does not enjoy pipe jobs. The second is that Chyna has "kinda been checking me out" and he does not know if it was his rugged good looks, his boyish charm or that fateful, fateful night when she accidentally walked in on him in the shower as he bent down to get the soap and he saw that she wanted to touch him in an impure way. He says that he is a married man and that Chyna cannot touch Mankind's manhood. Tonight, he will give her a chance to look at the merchandise, "if you smell where my sock is hiding."

We see some footage during the break where The Big Boss Man attacks Mankind as he makes his way to the back. After the footage, Mankind and Boss Man are still brawling at ringside as "Road Dogg" Jesse James ames his way to the ring. Mankind tosses Boss Man into the ring after Road Dogg says that he can't take them anywhere and asks Mankind to save some for him, and hits Boss Man in the head with the microphone, starting their match early.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James beats The Big Boss Man by disqualification after Boss Man hits Road Dogg with his nightstick. Referee Teddy Long takes the nightstick away and runs out of the ring, but the Boss Man pulls a chain out of his vest pocket, wrapis it around his fist and continues to go to town on Road Dogg before choking him with it.

Backstage, an angry WWF co-owner Shane McMahon destroys catering, saying everyone is going to pay as Mideon and Viscera try in vain to stop him.

Next week on Sunday Night Heat: Four King of the Ring qualifying matches! Big Show vs. Droz! Test vs. Kane! "Road Dogg" Jesse James vs. The Godfather! Chyna vs. Val Venis!

The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) beat X-Pac and Kane to become the WWF Tag Team Champions! During the match, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up to watch the match from ringside, but he eventually grabs a steel chair. As X-Pac goes for a Bronco Buster, Shane holds the steel chair and puts in his path so that he runs head-first into it. Bradshaw pins X-Pac as Kane goes after Shane, and The Acoltyes become the new tag team champs.

A hidden camera shows black-and-white footage of the bathroom shows D'Lo Brown and "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry using the bathroom. Fart noises can be heard, and the smell is so bad that D'Lo Brown tells Mark Henry to do a courtesy flush to kill the scent. A picture of a 1950's-style television with the letters "GDTV" can be seen in the lower-left corner.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock beats Val Venis with an inside cradle. During the match, Jeff Jarrett and Debra show up, and he taunts Ken Shamrock to allow Val Venis to win with an inside cradle. After the match, Shamrock snaps and chases after both Debra and Jarrett. Nicole Bass helps Val Venis up, but Venis wants to know where Nicole Bass was. Nicole apologizes and says it will not happen again, and Val Venis says he understands and that she can make it up to him right now. Venis and Nicole head to the back.

The Undertaker tells "the higher power" that he will not fail him in a darkened, smoky room.

"Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Mankind in a Hardcore Match. During the match, Triple H aims for Mankind with a sledgehammer, and leaves a dent in the steel steps when Mankind dodges it, Later Chyna hits Mankind in the head with a steel chair, which has no effect. Triple H attacks Mankind from behind, sending him into Chyna and Chyna into the steel steps. Chyna hits Mankind in the groin with a sledgehammer handle, then Mankind readies Mr. Socko as Chyna confronts the referee. Mankind puts Chyna in the Mandible Claw, but Triple H hits Mankind in the knee with the sledgehammer to win the match. After the match, referees and officials check on Mankind, whose knee is injured. Triple H and Chyna get back in the ring and attack the referees and the officials, then Triple H continues to work on Mankind's left knee. The Rock runs in and kicks Triple H out of the ring, and referees have to hold him back. Triple H and Chyna run to the back. (This knee injury leads to the quiet dissolution of The Union [Mankind, Test, Big Show, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock].)

During the break, the rest of The Union ("The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Test, Big Show) help Mankind to the back. Test gets in the ambulance with Mankind as Mankind is taken to a local hospital.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker ends in a no-contest. During the match, Austin hits The Undertaker with the Stone Cold Stunner, but Paul Bearer drags the referee out of the ring. The Big Boss Man runs into the ring and eats a Stunner, but The Undertaker choke slams Austin and the rest of The Corporate Ministry show up to gang up on Austin. Austin is tied up in the ropes and held down by The Corporate Ministry, then The Undertaker gets on one knee. The chanting of druids can be heard, and a figure in a burgundy robe, their head covered, comes to the ring. The rest of the Corporate Ministry who is not holding Austin down also seen in some sort of kneeling position. Jerry "The King" Lawler believes that this is Shane, as it becomes apparent that this robed person is "the higher power." The higher power reveals their face, but only to Austin. Austin is enraged. The show ends.
