Live on the 4th of July, The WWF Stars and Stripes Challenge will take place. Can anyone slam Yokozuna?

Vince McMahon interviews Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna in the ring. Mr. Fuji is accepting all takers for his challenge to see if anyone can slam Yokozuna as he continues to discredit America. Vince reminds Fuji that someone will eventually meet the challenge and succeed. Fuji responds by mocking Hulk Hogan's fans, saying they destroyed Hulkamania and caused the little Hulkamaniacs to cry. Yokozuna says that American athlets are like American products: they're no good.

George Martin of the New York Giants, Jim Campen of the Green Bay Packers, and Tatanka accept Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji's challenge, which will be on the USS Intrepid.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat "Iron" Mike Sharpe and Barry Horowitz.

Vince McMahon interviews Money, Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) in the ring. IRS says The Steiner Brothers' (Rick and Scott Steiner) tag team title reign won't last long, and that they threw in a rematch clause when they signed the contract to face The Steiners. Ted DiBiase then makes fun of Razor Ramon losing his money to The 1-2-3 Kid, saying Ramon is stupid for walking out on national television against "a virtual nobody," not beating him, losing his cool and trying to bribe The Kid for a return match. The crowd chants "Razor" at this point, and DiBiase tells Razor to go back to the same school as the Steiners so that they can have three Steiner brothers: Moe, Larry and Curly. When Vince says if they're scared of the Steiners, they say they're not shaking in their boots and that they're not hard to find.

Doink quickly beats Scott Dane with the Stump Puller.

Fuji says they are making this challenge to make America look like a bunch of fools. Yokozuna says "All Americans...is weak." Fuji says only the Japanese are strong, and that Yokozuna will survive.

We see a one-screen advertisement for The Stars and Stripes Challenge.

Crush says Yokozuna is bigger than ever at 500 pounds, and that he has challenged any and all American professional athletes to body slam him on July 4th on the USS Intrepid. Crush states that he will answer The Stars and Stripes Challenge, and flexes his muscles as he tells Yokozuna to take a good, long look at his destiny.

The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) beat Buddy Lane and Mike Davis.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises The Stars and Stripes Challenge at the USS Intrepid in New York City, New York on July 4th. He then advertises tomorrow night's show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The first 1,000 kids through the doors will receive a coupon for a free Dentax WWF Superstars toothbrush. Also on that night, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will face Yokozuna for the WWF Championship in a return Lumberjack Match. Okerlund interviews Duggan, Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji for Face To Face. Duggan says the lumberjacks surrounding the ring will be an advantage for him, as he had Yokozuna beat last time until Mr. Fuji threw salt into his eyes. Fuji says that he never threw the salt, and says Duggan ran away from Yokozuna. Duggan says the only man he is afraid of is Dad, and if he can't beat Yokozuna, he has a piece of lumber that will.

Razor Ramon vs. The 1-2-3 Kid from Raw earlier this week is replayed.

Tatanka tells Yokozuna that if he wants to issue a challenge on July 4th, then he, as the first American and a proud Native American, will accept his challenge. With the power of his people and the great spirit, he will take Yokozuna's 500 pounds and slam him through the floor.

Bastion Booger beats Virgil in a Superstars rematch.

We see another vignette for Men on a Mission (Osar, Mabel, Mo).

Boni Blackwell interviews Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow says everyone knows he is not only the biggest, the meanest or the strongest, but the best wrestler in the WWF today. He says that there is one thing people don't know, and that there is another side of him. He says he has a heart, and that every man in the world has their heart. In his heart, he has feelings and sensitivity. He says that he has found love, and that he has found someone that he is madly in love with. He introduces his "main squeeze" and his "love tick." Luna Vachon shows up, and the crowd chants "Luna-tick" after Boni Blackwell calls her one. Bam Bam says only he calls her the "tick," Luna has a body that any model would die for, a mind of Einstein, and the guts and what it takes to get the job done. Luna takes offense to the "lunatic" nickname, and says Boni is standing too close to her man. She tells Luna to take a close look at Bam Bam, and says "Arnold Schwarzenegger, eat your heart out!" before telling Mel Gibson to get out of the way before saying Bam Bam is on fire and that he makes her hot.

("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster). Okerlund then interviews both teams for Face To Face. DiBiase says that what happened to them will be called the biggest rip-off in World Wrestling Federation history. He says that The Steiners stole the belt, and tomorrow night, The Steiners will soon become the shortest-lived tag team champions in WWF history. Rick Steiner says this is a great time for him and Scott now that they have won the tag team titles, and says Money Inc. couldn't buy any guts that night. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) for the WWF Tag Team Championships last Monday night in Columbus, Ohio only to lose them back to Money Inc. a few days later in Rockford, Illinois. Also during this match, the Stars and Stripes Challenge at the U.S.S. Intrepid in New York City is announced. Children under 7 get in free, children from 7 to 12 are $4 and adults are $7. Also included in this price is admission to the U.S.S. Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum.

It is announced that the encore of King of the Ring is this Tuesday night at 8 P.M. Eastern Time on pay-per-view.

Also on that night, Mr. Hughes will face Bob Backlund. Okerlund then interviews Mr. Hughes and Harvey Wippleman for Face To Face. Wippleman says Backlund made the biggest mistake of his life signing for a match with Mr. Hughes, and hopes all the rotten Yankees come to see him as it will be the last time they do, for Mr. Hughes will sidewalk slam Backlund out of the WWF. Mr. Hughes says he will take the pride of Backlund much like he took the pride of The Undertaker. We also hear from Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster), who will be facing The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) that night. Schyster says it is obvious to them that the Steiners are as stupid as they look, and if they think they can walk in and take the tag team titles from them, that proves how stupid they are. He goes on to say that the "M" on their jackets stands for "moron." DiBiase says they will not underestimate The Steiners, as they have beaten everyone they have crossed path with, but says The Steiner Brothers have yet to cross paths with them.

Tatanka beats Mike Davis.

It is announced that The 1-2-3 Kid has accepted Razor Ramon's challenge to a match for $10,000, and that the match will take place next Monday night on Raw.

It is announced that The Undertaker has recovered enough to return to the ring; however, he will be without Paul Bearer and without the urn. We hear from Harvey Wippleman, who asks The Undertaker how it feels to just be a mere mortal now that Mr. Hughes has his urn. Mr. Hughes says the urn is where The Undertaker's power lies, and he is the only one who ever took it.

Crush beats Joey Tempest with the Cranium Crusher. Before the end of the match, it is announced that Bastion Booger has received a rematch against Virgil on next week's Superstars.

We hear from Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji for Face To Face. Fuji tells Duggan he has a great opportunity in the Nassau Coliseum to win the WWF Championship in a Lumberjack Match, and Duggan cannot run away. He says that there is no way Yokozuna will run away, and no way Duggan will get Yokozuna over the top rope. He also interviews Sensational Sherri and Luna Vachon, who will go at it that night. Luna says she is the most dominant force in the WWF and the queen of the ring, and she will eliminate Sensational Sherri. Sherri tells Luna that they have done all they can in anout of the ring, and dares her to get in the ring with her as she has nothing to lose now and wants to see what Luna is made of.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna prior to the event. Fuji insists Hulk Hogan cheated at Wrestlemania 9, and that Yokozuna is bigger, stronger and wiser.

Bam Bam Bigelow takes advantage of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's injured ribs to beat "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and continue to the semi-finals of the King of the Ring Tournament.

In a Coliseum Video exclusive, Terry Taylor interviews The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and The Smoking Guns (Billy and Bart Gunn). The Frankensteiner as well as The Smoking Gunns' new finisher, the Revolver, will be the key to winning against Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu).

As Lex Luger is posing in front of his mirror in the ring, the officials order him to wear an elbow pad to cover the plate in his forearm. He is forced to put it on when it is announced that if Luger does not wear it, he will be eliminated from the tournament immediately. When Tatanka makes his entrance, he rushes in and pushes the mirror into Luger when he tries to get some shots in before the match begins.

Lex Luger and Tatanka fight to a 15-minute time limit draw, with neither man continuing to the semi-finals. Bam Bam Bigelow gets a bye to the finals. An angry Luger wants five more minutes, and when Tatanka is ready to rumble, Luger removes the elbow pad and hits Tatanka with the running forearm, knocking him unconscious.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Mr. Perfect, who immediately come to blows over Hart's comments about his mutual respect for Perfect are blown out of proportion. Both men's parents are mentioned in a "my dad can beat your dad" argument, and Perfect says that there won't be a repeat performance of SummerSlam 1991.

Terry Taylor interviews Mr. Perfect in a Coliseum Video exclusive. Mr. Perfect hands it to Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, but he's not in the mood to talk and he'll soon show what perfect is all about.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Shawn Michaels, who is with his bodyguard. Michaels calls Hogan a "dinosaur" and says he's not the same calibur of champion as he is. We finally learn some stuff about his bodyguard: his bodyguard's name is Diesel, as in diesel fuel that makes a Mack truck go, and he protects Michaels every inch of the way.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) in eight-man tag team action after a cocky DiBiase is pinned with an inside cradle by Billy Gunn. Both factions brawl after the match, but the good guys run the bad out of the ring.

The match is restarted, and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beats Bam Bam Bigelow to be crowned the 1993 King of the Ring. During the coronation, "The King" Jerry Lawler confronts Bret Hart to proclaim he is the only king of the WWE, and will allow him to be a prince if he kisses his foot. Bret Hart calls him a "Burger King" and leads a "Burger King" chant until Lawler sucker punches Hart, hits him with the scepter, destroys the crown and throws the throne on him before choking him out with the scepter, tossing the robe away and destroying the coronation set. The show ends with Lawler continung to attack a downed Bret Hart.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for June 12, 1993

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat "Iron" Mike Sharpe and Ralph LaRue.

Last Sunday in Albany, New York, Shawn Michaels regained the WWF Intercontinental Championship thanks to a new bodyguard who is taller than he is. Because of this, his match against Crush at King of the Ring will now be for the Intercontinental title. We hear from Crush, who says that thanks to Shawn, he cannot be King of the Ring, but now he has a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, and no bodyguard can stop him. Meanwhile, Shawn - who is seen with the new bodyguard - says he cannot bask in the glory of being a two-time Intercontinental Champion thanks to WWF President Jack Tunney making his match against Crush at King of the Ring for the title, and says him being the Intercontinental Champion will not change when he beats Crush.

We see pre-recorded comments from The 1-2-3 Kid, who says that last Monday night, Razor Ramon offered him $7500. That is more money than he has ever seen in his life and could take care of the bills. He says that money may be important to Razor, but to him, family is the most important thing, and if something happened to him, he wouldn't know what his family would do. He declines Razor's third offer.

Before the next match, Bret "Hit Man" Hart appears on the video screen and asks Razor Ramon what makes him thinks he stands one iota of a chance against him at King of the Ring when he was recently beaten by The 1-2-3 Kid. He says that when he steps into the ring with him at King of the Ring, he will beat him 1...2...3. He then leads a "1-2-3" chant to get under Razor's skin as the match begins.

Razor Ramon beats Bert Centeno.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises a show at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York on Tuesday night, June 29th. Bret "Hit Man" Hart, Doink, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and a host of others will be there. He also interviews tonight's show at Madison Square Garden. Razor Ramon will face Shawn Michaels, Mr. Perfect goes up against "The Narcissist" Lex Luger, and Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka will square off in the squared circle tonight. As part of Face To Face, he interviews Paul Bearer and The Undertaker in one corner and Harvey Wippleman and Giant Gonzales in the other. Harvey Wippleman announces that tonight will be the greatest night in Giant Gonzales' night, as tonight, he will make history in front of all "the New York Yankee trash" when he puts The Undertaker out of the World Wrestling Federation, and Okerlund can take that all the way to the blood bank. Bearer, excited by the word "blood," says that there will be blood tonight when The Undertaker rips Giant Gonzales' eyes out and sticks them into the sockets of his dead skull. The Undertaker says that as he and Bearer stand in the comfortable confines of the dark side, they pondered what they would bring to New York. They decided it would be death, darkness and destruction. He also interviews Shawn Michaels, who brags about being WWF Intercontinental Champion again.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan beats Mike Bell. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler draws a hand giving a thumbs up with a no symbol over it over a freeze frame of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's 2x4.

Boni Blackstone interviews Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji. Mr. Fuji says that this Sunday night, Yokozuna will take back the WWF Championship that Hogan stole from Yokozuna, and insists he issued no challenge whatsoever at WrestleMania 9. He says Japanese people all over the world will rejoice when a fattened-up 550-pound Yokozuna - who eats eight to twelve meals a day consisting of 30-40 pounds of rice and 60-80 pounds of steak, fish and chicken - flattens Hogan on the canvas and regains the title as Hogan screams for mercy and all the little Hulkamaniacs cry. He says that the day Yokozuna becomes the WWF Champion will become a national holiday of Japan.

The Undertaker beats PJ Walker. During the match, it is announced that The Undertaker is on the cover of the newest issue of WWF Magazine. At the end of the match, Giant Gonzales and Harvey Wippleman approach the ring, and Giant Gonzales gets in the ring and brawls with The Undertaker. Mr. Hughes gets into the ring and plants Paul Bearer into the mat before Harvey Wippleman takes the urn in Paul Bearer's possession and hands it to Mr. Hughes. Mr. Hughes then takes the urn and attacks The Undertaker from behind with it.

During the King of the Ring, i t is reported that The Undertaker struggled to his feet and carried Paul Bearer to the backstage area during the commercial break. We hear from Hulk Hogan, who says that this Sunday night, it all comes to a head and destiny meets him. He will face the biggest challenge of his career. He says that finely tuned guitars and fine-feeling women turned him on, but in the twilight of his career, spending time with his family is what turns him on these days. He also says that walking that fine razor's edge that separates greatness from disaster is what really turns him on, and he gets to walk the edge this Sunday, and says the 24-inch pythons are ready for the challenge. This Sunday, we will find out if it is Pearl Harbor all over again, if Hulkamania lives forever and what side of the fence everyone is on. When he steps foot into the ring, the strongest force in the universe will get ready to take over until the end of time. We also learn that The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) will face Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) and The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) at King of the Ring.

During the match, it is announced an article about where Money Inc. gets their money is in the newest issue of WWF Magazine. After the match, The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) show up, and Rick tells Money Inc. that he and Scott have heard they are the best tag team in the WWF and that nobody can beat them. He challenges them to put the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line, right here, right now. The Steiner Brothers get in the ring, but Money Inc. gets out.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises a show at Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown, New Jersey on Tuesday night, June 29th. "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Luna Vachon, Adam Bomb and Johnny Polo will all be there. He then advertises a show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on Sunday night, June 27th. Sensational Sherri will lock up with Luna Vachon that night, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Yokozuna will square off in a return Lumberjack Match. Also on that night, Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) will defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner). Okerlund interviews The Steiner Brothers, and Rick says they have worked hard and will find out who the best tag team is. Scott says Money Inc. is a great tag team, and even though they are the champions, they are the best team in the WWF, and Nassau Coliseum is the time to put up or shut up. If he gets the opportunity to hit the Frankensteiner, he and Rick will become the new tag team champions. Also on that night, Crush will face Doink, and Okerlund interviews them for Face To Face. Crush is looking forward to this more than anything in his life, thanks to the concussion followed by the two Doinks. Doink tells him he forgot the defeat. Crush gives Doink credit, but tells him he is coming back bigger and stronger than ever to finish this once and for all. Doink continues to laugh and clown around with a yo-yo.

On that night, Crush faces Doink in a return bout, The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) will face Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) for the WWF Tag Team Championships, and Yokozuna will face "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan in a Lumberjack Match. Okerlund interviews Yokozuna and Duggan for Face To Face. Hacksaw says Memorial Day was a day for all Americans to show respect for all the veterans who put their lives on the line to keep freedom free, but now it's back to business and that this Lumberjack Match has been set up so Mr. Fuji doesn't stick his nose in the match. Mr. Fuji speaks for Yokozuna, and reminds Duggan that Memorial Day is giving the country of Japan a lot of money, and asks how the lumberjacks will get Yokozuna back in the ring if he somehow gets him out. Hacksaw says he will do it himself if he has to.

Kamala - without Reverend Slick, who is conspicuous by his absence - beats Phil Apollo.

We hear from The 1-2-3 Kid, who says that he was watching Superstars with his grandparents when he sees Razor Ramon offering him $5000 to get back in the ring with him. He says it is a really hard decision, but he cannot accept the money knowing what will happen to him in the ring.

"The Narcissist" Lex Luger beats Jason Knight.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage speaks to the children of P.S. 384 in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Hughes beats Russ Greenberg. During the match, we hear pre-recorded comments from Harvey Wippleman, who is so happy to have Mr. Hughes in his army, as he is rough, tough, mean, strong, powerful and takes no nonsense from anybody, just like him.

On the King of the Ring Report, we hear from Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji. Fuji says there is only one week left before Hulk Hogan meets Yokozuna for the WWF Championship which he claims Hogan stole. He says Hogan will be punished very severely and will scream in pain when Yokozuna squashes him and nobody sees him again. He says that Yokozuna will take the belt back to Japan where it belonds, where it be placed in a shrine from all to see. We then hear from Hogan, who says he has a bone to pick as he squares off with Yokozuna. He says that he will take care of all the family business, but this one is his and all the Hulkamaniacs, all of America and all the world will be watching him and wanting a ringside seat when he takes care of Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji. He says that Yokozuna will bow at his feet, and it wil be the "shaka-boom" heard all the world when he slams him onto the mat and sics Jimmy Hart on Mr. Fuji while he is at it. We then hear from "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, who says he is excited for the King of the Ring Tournament and focused, and that there is no way Bam Bam Bigelow is going to stop him.

Te Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Dale Wolfe and Gus Kantakaris.

We also hear from The Undertaker with Paul Bearer and Giant Gonzales with Harvey Wippleman. Wippleman says The Undertaker will end up flat on his back when he faces Giant Gonzales again, as his career will come to an end and that there is nothing The Undertaker or Paul Bearer can do about it. Bearer says that Wippleman made the fatal mistake and that it will be the end of Giant Gonzales, as The Undertaker will pull out his eyeballs and spit into the open eyesockets of his soul.
