Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for June 19, 1993

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Reno Riggins and Scott Taylor. During the match, it is announced that The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) for the WWF Tag Team Championships last Monday night in Columbus, Ohio only to lose them back to Money Inc. a few days later in Rockford, Illinois. Also during this match, the Stars and Stripes Challenge at the U.S.S. Intrepid in New York City is announced. Children under 7 get in free, children from 7 to 12 are $4 and adults are $7. Also included in this price is admission to the U.S.S. Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum.

It is announced that the encore of King of the Ring is this Tuesday night at 8 P.M. Eastern Time on pay-per-view.

Virgil beats the debuting Bastion Booger. After the match, "The King" Jerry Lawler use the Magistrator to joke that Bastion Booger is related to "Macho Man" Randy Savage, much to Savage's ire (which in turn becomes a running gag for months).

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises a show at Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown, New Jersey on Tuesday night, June 29th. "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Luna Vachon, Adam Bomb and Johnny Polo will all be there. He then advertises a show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on Sunday night, June 27th. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Yokozuna will square off in a return Lumberjack Match - now for the WWF Championship - while Sensational Sherri will lock up with Luna Vachon. Also on that night, Mr. Hughes will face Bob Backlund. Okerlund then interviews Mr. Hughes and Harvey Wippleman for Face To Face. Wippleman says Backlund made the biggest mistake of his life signing for a match with Mr. Hughes, and hopes all the rotten Yankees come to see him as it will be the last time they do, for Mr. Hughes will sidewalk slam Backlund out of the WWF. Mr. Hughes says he will take the pride of Backlund much like he took the pride of The Undertaker. We also hear from Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster), who will be facing The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) that night. Schyster says it is obvious to them that the Steiners are as stupid as they look, and if they think they can walk in and take the tag team titles from them, that proves how stupid they are. He goes on to say that the "M" on their jackets stands for "moron." DiBiase says they will not underestimate The Steiners, as they have beaten everyone they have crossed path with, but says The Steiner Brothers have yet to cross paths with them.

Tatanka beats Mike Davis.

It is announced that The 1-2-3 Kid has accepted Razor Ramon's challenge to a match for $10,000, and that the match will take place next Monday night on Raw.

"The Narcissist" Lex Luger beats Phil Apollo.

It is announced that The Undertaker has recovered enough to return to the ring; however, he will be without Paul Bearer and without the urn. We hear from Harvey Wippleman, who asks The Undertaker how it feels to just be a mere mortal now that Mr. Hughes has his urn. Mr. Hughes says the urn is where The Undertaker's power lies, and he is the only one who ever took it.

Crush beats Joey Tempest with the Cranium Crusher. Before the end of the match, it is announced that Bastion Booger has received a rematch against Virgil on next week's Superstars.

We see a vignette for Men on a Mission (Mabel, Mo, Oscar).

Adam Bomb beats Jerry Seavey.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises a show at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York on Tuesday night, June 29th. He then re-announces the show at June 27th show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) will have a rematch against Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) for the WWF Tag Team Championships, Crush meets Doink in a return bout, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will be meeting Yokozuna in a return Lumberjack Match for the WWF Championship. We hear from Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji for Face To Face. Fuji tells Duggan he has a great opportunity in the Nassau Coliseum to win the WWF Championship in a Lumberjack Match, and Duggan cannot run away. He says that there is no way Yokozuna will run away, and no way Duggan will get Yokozuna over the top rope. He also interviews Sensational Sherri and Luna Vachon, who will go at it that night. Luna says she is the most dominant force in the WWF and the queen of the ring, and she will eliminate Sensational Sherri. Sherri tells Luna that they have done all they can in anout of the ring, and dares her to get in the ring with her as she has nothing to lose now and wants to see what Luna is made of.

Next week: A replay of Razor Ramon vs. The 1-2-3 Kid from next week's Monday Night Raw! Mr. Perfect! Doink! "El Matador" Tito Santana vs. Mr. Hughes! Virgil vs. Bastion Booger in a rematch!

We hear from Bastion Booger, who says he came to the WWF to make his mark. He asks Virgil if he feels good about himself, and says that when they meet again next week, he may not survive.
