Seth talks about his victories against Rey Mysterio at Extreme Rules and Aleister Black from last week, then says he is on a roll, but that he is not in a great mood because Dominick is here and he plans to confront him. He says that every time the greater good takes two step forwards, someone gets in the way and he is forced to take a step back, and someone has to get hurt every step of the way, mentioning that Aleister Black has injured his arm. Rollins says he does not want to be "the person who hurts people," because that is not who he is. He says that last time Dominick confronted him, he attacked him from behind and things got more violent than he preferred. He then says tonight will be different, and asks that Dominick confront him face-to-face so they can talk things out. Dominick shows up, and Rollins asks him to step into the ring. Dominick slowly steps into the ring, and Rollins gives him the chance to get something off his chest. Rollins tells him that he is here for him if he cannot articulate his feeling into words, then tries to hug him. Dominick tackles Rollins instead. This leads to a brawl where Rollins and Murphy gang up on Dominick and throw him into the barricade multiple times before throwing him into the announce table. The steel steps then catch Rollins' eye, and as he is about to sacrifice Dominick, Aleister Black shows up and attacks Rollins. MVP says that Apollo Crews went down a similar path and is now injured and sitting at home, and gives Ali the choice of either being a champion with "the hurt business" or he can be chum in the water for predators. Ali says "no," and as he speaks, R-Truth runs in and tackles Shelton Benjamin before running away after a failed pinfall attempt.

Sasha says that she and Bayley have done what they said they would do, and Bayley says that tonight, Sasha will make "The Empress of Nothing" Asuka tap out. When The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up, Kairi chases Bayley to the back.

Sasha Banks beats Asuka by count-out to become WWE Raw Women's Champion! (The championship could also change hands on a disqualification in this match.) During the match, Bayley attacks Kairi Sane backstage, and the attack is shown on the TitanTron. Asuka is forced to choose saving Kairi Sane over defending the championship, causing Sasha to win the match and the title.

Charly Caruso reports that Kairi Sane's condition is being evaluated, then Bayley and Sasha Banks butt in to celebrate before Asuka comes out of the trainer's room and yells.

WWE pays tribute to Regis Philbin, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 88.

Murphy beats Humberto Carrillo.

Before the next match, Drew McIntyre addresses Randy Orton's comments from the beginning of the show, then says it will be him vs. Orton for the WWE Championship. McIntyre admits that Orton is the biggest threat to his championship and that nobody can touch Orton's accolades, then says he hopes that Orton considers him the underdog and underestimates him, as Brock Lesnar did and he lost the title. After telling Orton he will see the Claymore Kick coming, he then address the match for his match with Dolph Ziggler when Ziggler shows up. McIntyre makes their match an Extreme Rules Match, but this time, it applies to both of them. He then slaps Ziggler.
