Backstage, Damian Priest tells Cameron Grimes that he does know what kind of man he is after what he has done to him as of late, then says he will regret getting his full attention and challenges him to a one-on-one match. When he is done with him, the beating Grimes gets will be something that lives together.

Timothy Thatcher beats Oney Lorcan with the Fujiwara Arm Bar.

We hear from Karrion Kross, who asks everyone if they know how to read between the lines before he and Scarlett state that time is ticking and that NXT will be defined by the torture the locker room will endure. Kross says that it is not about the time you put in, but the time you take away.

Rhea Ripley beats Robert Stone and Aliyah in a two-on-one handicap match with simultaneous Prism Traps.

Dexter Lumis beats Roderick Strong in a Strap Match despite the interference by Bobby Fish. Lumis' finishing hold is now known as The Silence.

Next week: Adam Cole vs. Keith Lee in a winner takes all match for the NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship!

Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano, and it is not long before Candace finds and attacks Mia Yim. When Isaiah "Swerve" Scott tries to break the brawl up, Gargano confronts him. Referees have to restore order.

El Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza) shows up. Escobar says the lucha libre culture was once revered and used to mean something as it transcended the wrestling world, and luchadors became movie stars and heroes, but their style has turned into a sideshow. He says the fans have settled and have looked at lucha libre as "a bunch of guys doing flips," and says that El Legado del Fantasma is more than a mask and that they will rediscover the roots of lucha libre in his image, restore its honor and leave a legacy to be proud of. He says that they will redefine lucha libre and build their empire, then Drake Maverick shows up wearing a neck brace. Maverick removes the neck brace and charges at Escobar, but he is overpowered by Mendoza and Wilde. Escobar tells Maverick that no one can touch him, then Breezango run in and fight off Wilde and Mendoza to even the odds. Escobar retreats, and Fandango tells Escobar that he will have no place to run and hide next week.

Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interview Cameron Grimes, who says that Damian Priest does not understand that it is "Grime Time" and that Priest is in a hurry to come after him. He then says he is looking to the future and that he will soon become #1 contender and take on whoever is double champion between Adam Cole and Keith Lee after next week.

We see a vignette for Mercedes Martinez, who will debut next week.

Next week: Drake Maverick and Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza)! Mia Yim vs. Candice LeRae in a Street Fight!
