Chris Jericho guests on commentary for Night One.

Before the next match, MJF says he has a bad case of deja vu and says he is tired of having to beat Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus over and over again, especially after Wardlow has beaten Luchasaurus' brains in and he has beaten Jungle Boy multiple times and allowed Jungle Boy to be a part of history and have his best match in at Double or Nothing He says that Jungle Boy should be at home counting his father's money, then says this match is happening because there is a ratings war and AEW can't win it without him.

Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) beat MJF and Wardlow after Luchasaurus kicks MJF into Wardlow, causing MJF to inadvertently hit Wardlow in the face with the Dynamite diamond ring.

On Technique by Taz, Taz covers Jon Moxley's Paradigm Shift, and uses the opportunity to state that Moxley will not be able to execute the Paradigm Shift on Brian Cage.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the AEW TNT Championship against Jake Hager. During the match, Katarina slaps Cody in the face, and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson gets on the ring apron. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes gets in the ring and punches Hager in the face, but Hager escapes the Cross Rhodes. When Hager goes for his submission finisher, Cody floats over and pins Hager's shoulders to the mat to retain the championship. (Hager will be suspended for ten days and fined an undisclosed amount for his actions.)

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page. Page says he feels great, and while he feels Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) are great wrestlers deserving of a title shot, the word "deserve" dries up. Omega says that week by week, he and Page have beaten every team thrown at them and that tonight will be no different.

Taz and Brian Cage shows up. Taz says he and Cage found out their AEW World title match has been moved back, then says they are not upset because Jon Moxley politicked his way into buying some time. Taz also says he had a conversation with Tony Khan and says Moxley's concern for the health and well-being of everyone in the locker room is hypocritical, as he has tested negative for COVID-19 from home twice and would get tested when he comes back to work because "we don't run a sloppy shop." He says that Moxley has a case of "the chickenshits" and is afraid of Brian Cage beating his brains in and taking the AEW World Championship from his "dumb ass."

Trent's mom drives Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) to the arena for the next match.

"Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent). During the match, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) shows up to watch from the announce table. After the match, FTR get in the ring and offer som beer to Page and Omega, then both teams have a toast.
