We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that he tries to stay out of people's business if people leave him alone, and if they don't, he won't. He thought that he was done with "The Machine" Brian Cage, but Cage and "Absolute" Ricky Starks had to beat up Darby Allin and he had to get involved. He says that Starks has fallen in with the wrong crowd, then says he wants to see how Starks handles him when they are even. Moxley says that he doesn't start fights; he finishes them.
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the AEW TNT Championship against Warhorse with the Figure Four Leg Lock. After the match, Alex Reynolds and John Silver run in and attack Cody and Warhorse, and as Arn Anderson is about to fight Reynolds and Silver, Matt Cardona - formerly known as Zack Ryder in WWE - shows up and fights Reynolds and Silver.
Tony Schiavone is about to talk about All Out when The Inner Circle interrupt him. Chris Jericho says he is furious about The Inner Circle losing tonight and that they are about to draw some lines in the sand. Sammy calls out Matt Hardy for costing him his first match back, and Jericho says Orange Cassidy has been causing a lot of issues ever since he beat him on Dynamite, and if Cassidy wants a rematch, he will get one in two weeks, and when he beats Cassidy, Cassidy will pay him $7,000 ruining his jacket. He also challenges Cassidy to a debate next week with a special guest moderator who will blow people's minds to not only beat Cassidy physically, but mentally. When Jericho asks Santana if his jacket still smells like oranges, Santana says it "smells more like cat pee." Jericho screams and leaves, and Ortiz stays behind to yell "Like cat pee, Tony!" at Schiavone.
In footage from earlier today, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) sign their AEW contracts. Arn Anderson shows up as their tag team consultant and helps them go over their contract, and Wheeler says that Tony Khan promised them September 12th for "Tag Team Appreciation Night," and it is confirmed that this promise is in the contract. FTR sign the contract, then "Hangman" Adam Page shows up with whiskey and shot glasses so he and FTR can drink whiskey in the room together.

After the match, Brodie Lee chews out Uno and Grayson after telling Colt Cabana and Anna Jay to head to the back. Afterwards, Brodie Lee chews out Page for laughing before congratulating Omega for showing up after acknowledging The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), who enter the ring from out of the audience. Lee says that The Dark Order is everywhere and has strength in numbers and that Page has pissed him off for the last time and that he will now pay. Suddenly, members of The Dark Order show up out of nowhere and surround the ring. Suddenly, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) shows up and uses another ice chest as a weapon to help Omega, Page and the Bucks take out The Dark Order.

We see a video package for Diamante, who says that she has busted her ass on the independent for ten years and that a win over Hikaru Shida will send her to the top. She says the women's division will fear her because they will feel her, and that she will get it done by any means necessary. Diamante says she has nothing to lose and everything to prove, and that she will do whatever it takes.
Hikaru Shida beats Diamante.
Backstage, Dasha Gonzales interviews Vicki Guerrero and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose in footage from earlier today. Vicki and Nyla draw Purple, and Dasha reveals that someone else has already drawn that color. Their tag team partner is none other than Ariane Andrews, formerly known as Cameron in WWE.
Backstage, MJF and Wardlow head to the stage for MJF's State of Wrestling address. MJF thanks Tony Khan for giving him time to speak to the fans, then says he is never spotlighted two weeks in a row is because a certain someone is scared of being upstaged two weeks in a row. MJF says it is time for change, and says that a guy on the top of the company who is able to do whatever he wants after making his career in the "place of Titans" is "old hat." He says that AEW turned from a revolution to a dictator, and because of that, Jon Moxley is not his champion. MJF says he will not stand her and pretend that Moxley is one of the greatest wrestlers the business has ever seen, but he says that a discussion about the negative things that have occurred since the Moxley ever started is needed. MJF says there is no wrestling and more people flipping around, and that the fans have been brainwashed to believe that flipping around is equal to good wrestling. He says that Jon Moxley should not be allowing this kind of "play wrestling" and that he should not be imitating a certain wrestler. MJF says he is a real wrestler and he is undefeated, and that Jon Moxley is treated well because of the name value he has and the ratings he brings, then says he draws better numbers than Moxley ever does and that Moxley does not want the fans to know that, as MJF is supposedly not on his level. He says that AEW is supposed to be the land of opportunity, but the old guard has squandered that. MJF says he can catch the company and carry it to the top because his talent outweighs Moxley's tenure, and says he will lead the company for the next 25 years. MJF promises he will not stop until AEW is a true alternative and the pinnacle of professional wrestling. MJF then announces that he will challenge Moxley for the AEW World Championship at All Out.
Next week: John Silver and Alex Reynolds vs. Cody Rhodes and Matt Cardona! An update from MJF! FTR, Young Bucks, Hangman and Omega vs. The Dark Order in a 12-man tag match! A debate between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy!
Darby Allin fails to show before the next match. Backstage, Tazz mocks Jon Moxley for not having a tag team partner, then tells Moxley he will be bounced around the ring before putting "The Machine" Brian Cage's physique on a pedestal before allowing "Absolute" Ricky Starks to speak. Starks says he is young, handsome and successful and that he was recruited by Tazz because he knew there was something different in him. He says that when someone who choked out an Olympic gold medalist tells him to "go get 'im," he's got them, and tonight will be no different. Starks says that Darby Allin is loved because of his enigma, but Starks says he is dressed like Pigpen and wrestles like a crash test dummy, and says there is a stark contrast between the two of them. Starks says people can try to stop them, but if they try hard, they will die hard, and he is about to dig two graves tonight. When Cage and Stars come out to the stage, they are taken out with a Coffin Drop from Darby Allin from above and out of seemingly nowhere.
Darby Allin and Jon Moxley beat "The Machine" Brian Cage and "Absolute" Ricky Starks after Allin stomps a skateboard with thumbtacks on the underside into Starks' back while Moxley has Cage in the cross arm breaker. After the next match, it is announced that Darby Allin will face Moxley for the AEW World Championship next week.
