The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Big E Langston and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up and asks Daniel Bryan to come out. He does. Shawn Michaels never intended to Super Kick D-Bry, and that Triple H will always be his best friend. He apologizes and wants D-Bry to shake his hand, also telling D-Bry to not trust anybody. D-Bry wants none of this hand-shaking business with Shawn, and Shawn finally loses his patience. Stephanie calls Orton "everybody's champion" and tells the Superstars to respect. Orton verbally craps on the locker room, then Big Show shows up. The locker room helps him fight The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns), and he tells Triple H he's out for every last dime the WWE has. My predictions for WWE Hell In A Cell

Don't forget, all of these matches will be Hell in a Cell matches!

Curtis Axel (c) vs. Big E Langston

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Oh, Paul Heyman. You shouldn't have run your mouth and called Big E Langston a mediocre rookie and a modest talent from NXT. Now your lovely Curtis Axel is going to pay for it with his title.

My prediction: Big E Langston will win the title. Curtis Axel's held it too long and aside from him winning it, his reign has still been largely uneventful. Give the belt to E.

Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. John Cena

for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Thanks to SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero, we now have a little bit of a bombshell: John Cena is coming back earlier than expected, and Alberto Del Rio has a match against him this month! Even worse for Del Rio, the World title is on the line! Will Cena be there, and ready for the match? How will Del Rio get out of this one? What about Damien Sandow? Stay tuned!

My prediction: Damien Sandow.

Oh, wait, the match.

John Cena. But then Damien Sandow will cash in soon after and get the title.

Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan

with "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee

for the vacant WWE Championship

It's Orton/Bryan III...and it's gonna be Hell in a Cell! This time around, there will be a winner, and special guest referee "HBK" Shawn Michaels (picked in a vote via the WWE App) will make sure it's called down the middle and that there is a winner and a new WWE Champion! Will Orton's revived aggression reign supreme...or will Daniel Bryan beat the odds again?

My prediction: Hopefully Daniel Bryan will win the title for a third time...and this time for a lot longer than a day.

CM Punk vs. Ryback and Paul Heyman

The rematch from Battleground is here! After that low blow victory from Punk last month, Paul Heyman is steamed that Ryback didn't get the job done and are ready to tackle Punk again as Punk plans to give Heyman the beating of his life!

It started out as just CM Punk vs Ryback, but after a failed Beat the Clock Challenge where CM Punk beat Ryback's time in a match against Curtis Axel, Punk got to name the stipulation for his match: a 2-on-1 handicap match between him and Ryback...plus Heyman!

My prediction: Punk will somehow win. He beat Ryback once, he can do it again.

AJ Lee (c) vs. Brie Bella

for the WWE Divas Championship

Thanks to a recent victory by Brie Bella on AJ Lee, they fight each other for the Divas title. Again.

My prediction: AJ Lee will probably retain again.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust (c)

vs. The Shield (Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns)

vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)

for the WWE Tag Team Championships

This all started with a match between The Shield and The Usos for #1 contendership to the tag team titles, where Rhodes and Goldust were guesting on commentary. Dean Ambrose would taunt the Rhodes brothers, which started a brawl between Goldust and Ambrose. The Shield's pack mentality took over and the match was thrown out, but both the Rhodes and the Usos would clean house.

We still had no #1 contenders for the tag team titles...so the powers that be put both teams in the match for a three-way tag team dance.

My prediction: Goldust and Cody will probably retain.

The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro)

vs Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego)

Well, it had to happen, didn't it? As the Los Matadores have a hot streak going since their WWE debut, they have a match on pay-per-view! The match is against Zeb Colter's Real Americans. Makes sense, since Colter views them as illegal immigrants that were "sneaking across our borders" (insert finger walking motion here) and called their mascarita mascot El Torito "a man dressed as a bull against his will" after Torito rammed head-first into him the previous week.

My prediction: Los Matadores will let their actions be their words and beat the Real Americans. Wouldn't make much sense to have them lose in their PPV debut.

Layin 'da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for October 25, 2013

Michael Cole is in the ring. He brings out Triple H. Everyone involved in Big Show's rant via satellite have been fired, and calls Show "irrelevant" while making any corporate mention of him verboten. He can't wait for both the World Heavyweight and WWE title matches, especially the latter where he knows Shawn Michaels will do "the right thing." When Cole asks what "the right thing" is, Daniel Bryan shows up and Cole exits the ring. Daniel Bryan has an idea of what "the right thing" is: him and Orton finishing their business with a neutral referee this Sunday at Hell in a Cell, with Bryan winning the title. Triple H, at this point, showing considerable restraint necessitated by his COO duties, gets a "Yes!" chant from D-Bry before he leaves.

The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luke Hrper) after The Miz attacks Bray Wyatt and gets Rowan to chase him into the back.

AJ Lee beats Nikki Bella with the Black Widow as Tamina Snuka attacks Brie Bella.

Bray Wyatt suddenly appears on camera, and shows us The Miz chained to a wall and unconscious, and the word "liar" written on his stomach in some sort of black ink.

The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) and Zeb Colter watch the next match from the ramp.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) beat 3MB (Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre). After the match, Zeb Colter makes fun of Los Matadores before saying The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) will beat them Sunday at Hell in a Cell.

Ryback and Paul Heyman say their match tonight will be an example of what will happen Sunday. They then introduce their opponent..."CM Skunk," a fake CM Punk with a silver streak in his hair.

Paul Heyman and Ryback defeat "CM Skunk" in a 2-on-1 no-disqualification handicap match. Heyman promises he and Ryback will win Sunday.

Vickie Guerrero finds the last match hilarious. Big E Langston then shows up and asks to substitute for The Miz in the main event. Vickie says she'll run the idea by Triple H, but Big E knows Vickie is the general manager of SmackDown and wonders if he walked into Brad Maddox's office. Vickie puts him in, but tells him not to compare her to Maddox ever again.

Santino Marella and R-Truth shill WWEShop.com.

Fandango vs. The Great Khali is thrown out after Natalya chases Summer Rae into the ring and makes her think twice about distracting Khali.

Daniel Bryan, Goldust, Cody Rhodes and Big E Langston beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) and Randy Orton.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 24, 2013

Dixie Carter enters the ring, which is full of AJ Styles merchandise. She says she made a mistake with AJ Styles, whom she brings out. She tells AJ she's been motivating him to glory, and tries to give him rather extravagant perks as well as a convertible. (That's not what AJ meant when he said you would pay, Dixie.) AJ Styles isn't buying it, and knows that Dixie bet against him getting back to the top in the past year. Dixie tries to cancel the world title rematch she made official this week and take him someplace nice far away, but Bully Ray shows up.

Bully Ray is ticked off that Dixie Carter would take away his rematch. AJ Styles gives Bully the rematch tonight, anyway. Bully thinks AJ got lucky at Bound For Glory, and blames referee Earl Hebner for his loss. When Bully says he'll get back what's his, AJ says even Aces and Eights won't stop him. Bully Ray sucker punches AJ in the gut and attacks him, but the lights go out...and Mr. Anderson returns to attack Bully!

Mr. Anderson missed the fans...and TNA. He missed Bully Ray, too, and knows that the people are sick and tired of Bully Ray. Dixie Carter shows up with security, and tells them to escort Mr. Anderson out for "being unauthorized to be in her ring." He fights off some of the security, but then allows himself to be handcuffed and escorted out.

Gail Kim and Brooke beat Velvet Sky and ODB thanks to Lei'D Tapa.

Ethan Carter III beats Dewey Barnes. (Dewey Barnes is local Nashville indy wrestler White Tiger.)

Magnus thanks Sting for the match Sunday, and apologizes to him for not showing respect after the match.

Kurt Angle shows up. He will take his place at the TNA Hall of Fame when his time comes. As for his match at Bound For Glory, he says Bobby Roode took him to the limit. Roode shows up and brags about his win. They almost come to blows and have a match tonight, but Roode pulls out a doctor's note saying Angle isn't cleared for competition tonight. Angle admits he's not cleared, but he still punches Roode before security breaks them up.

Bully Ray is ticked Mr. Anderson has returned to go after him. He tells Knux and Garett Bischoff to head to jail to make sure Anderson doesn't make bail as he focuses on AJ Styles.

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz) show up for their cele-bro-tion. They chow down and party with the DJ before bragging about their winning the tag titles. "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar show up to accost the DJ, eat the protein bars and drink the champagne as they promise to take the tag titles back. Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) show up and want a title shot, and Daniels bashes beer and champagne, saying appletinis are a real party drink...before giving his appletini to Storm, who gives it to Gunnar who splashes it in Daniels' face and starts a brawl. Joseph Park and Eric Young show up, but Park is bloodied. He choke slams Jesse, then goes after Bad Influence after pushing Young away.

With help from Mr. Anderson, AJ Styles retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship despite a ref bump and a cheating Bully Ray. Anderson goes after and wails on Bully Ray, and Dixie Carter appears on the TitanTron to announce that she has a contract for AJ Styles and is heading to the ring with it now!

Dixie Carter shows up and hands AJ Styles the contract, throwing in the car as a signing bonus. AJ Styles rejects the contract, tells Dixie money can't fix her complete lack of respect from the fans to the performers, then holds the TNA World Heavyweight Championship hostage and announces he's leaving TNA! He takes the title with him to the back, but not before stealing the keys to the car from Dixie's hand and driving off in it!

Triple H will respond this Friday on SmackDown about what happened on Raw earlier this week.

The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat Aksana and Alicia Fox.

Damien Sandow beats Dolph Ziggler.

Monday, October 21, 2013

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 21, 2013

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up and talk to the Memphis, Tennessee crowd about the main title matches of Hell in a Cell. Triple H says that he trusts Shawn Michaels as a guest referee because he respects him more than any other man. Big Show appears on the TitanTron and calls Triple H out on his use of the word "respect" while Stephanie tries to cut his live (via satellite) rant off. Triple H tells Big Show he disdains him because he deserves it, and that he's done with Big Show. Stephanie then cuts off Big Show's rant. Triple H then introduces Dean Ambrose for the next match, but Daniel Bryan shows up instead.

Daniel Bryan beats Dean Ambrose with the Yes Lock.

CM Punk shows up. He plans to make Paul Heyman suffer at Hell in a Cell.

Triple H meets Shawn Michaels after talking to Vickie Guerrero. It's pretty obvious one of them has grown up, according to Shawn.

Santino Marella - dressed as Elvis - beats Heath Slater, then gives Jerry "The King" Lawler some love.

Randy Orton beats Dolph Ziggler.

Brie Bella and AJ Lee will compete for the WWE Divas Championship at Hell in a Cell.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) beat AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka.

The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) beat The Miz and Kofi Kingston. After the match, Bay Wyatt makes it clear he's going to challenge Miz to a match at Hell in a Cell.

Big E Langston vs. Curtis Axel never begins after Ryback and Axel gang up on Big E. Big E puts up a hell of a fight, and CM Punk runs in to go after Paul Heyman. The match is now Punk and Big vs. Axel and Ryback after Vickie Guerrero shows up and makes it so.

Big E Langston and CM Punk beat Ryback and Curtis Axel...then Punk chases after Paul Heyman.

R-Truth shills WWE Shop. With the promo code "TRUTH," you can get 20% off your order tonight only!

Goldust takes on Seth Rollins on Main Event this Wednesday!

Zeb Colter guests on commentary for the next match.

The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) beat Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) with the Patriot Lock. After the match, Zeb Colter pulls out a bullwhip.

The Hell in a Cell kick-off will be Big E Langston vs. Curtis Axel for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

We see a career overview video package for John Cena.

Goldust and Cody Rhodes join on commentary for the next match.

Randy Orton will be on Miz TV this Friday on SmackDown!

Dean Ambrose messes with Cody Rhodes and Goldust, which starts a brawl between the Rhodes brothers and The Shield (Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns). The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs The Shield (Rollins and Reigns) is thrown out, and the Rhodes and the Usos clean house!

The contract signing for Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell begins. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are in the ring. Orton and Bryan come out, as does Shawn Michaels. Orton has fought and beaten Undertaker, Sheamus and John Cena in the Hell in a Cell match...something D-Bry has never done before. Nevertheless, D-Bry is unfazed. Both men sign after they've finished speaking, and Daniel Bryan calls Triple H and Stephanie "spoiled" and "narcissistic." Triple H tells D-Bry he'll never be the face of the company, but D-Bry doesn't even care and dares Triple H to take him on in a match. Triple H considers D-Bry to be beneath him, and says Shawn Michaels shouldn't even have trained him. Shawn defends D-Bry, and asks Triple H what happened to the friend he once knew. Orton is convinced Shawn Michaels has an agenda against him, but Triple H feels otherwise. Shawn agrees with Triple H, then asks him what he has against D-Bry. D-Bry and Orton are about to throw fists, but the TitanTron shows a big rig driving towards the inside of the arena. It's Big Show! He shows up and tells Orton to turn around. He does, and Daniel Bryan hits Orton with a flying double knee! D-Bry then leaves the ring and joins Big Show on the truck, starting up a "Yes!" chant.

Daniel Bryan beats Randy Orton in the post-Raw dark match. (thanks @Grandmastafunk)

Here's a look at Daniel Bryan's early days!

TNA Bound For Glory 2013

Dixie Carter makes AJ Styles vs Bully Ray for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship a no-disqualification and no-count-out match!

Eric Young and Joseph will be the third team in the tag team gauntlet in the pre-show...and all the other teams aren't very happy! The finger pointing and yelling begins!

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz) have "Mr. Olympia" Phil Heath in their corner!

Gilbert Corsey of Ohio Valley Wrestling conducts his first TNA interview with Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian), who have made it their mission to reclaim the TNA tag team titles.

Samoa Joe chats with Magnus and Sting..and Kurt Angle shows up to make the Main Event Mafia reunion complete!

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz) win the tag team gauntlet after Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) give Eric Young and Joseph Park a brutal beating after their elimination. Joseph Park has to be helped away from the ring and Eric Young was put in a deadly piledriver. Robbie E and Jesse now have a shot at "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar's tag team titles.

Eric Young looks for Joseph Park only to find a bloody handprint on the wall. Uh-oh.

Bully Ray shows up. He says Aces and Eights aren't dead, and that tonight is their rebirth as AJ Styles will fail to take the TNA title from him.

Chris Sabin wins the Ultimate X match against Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries and Manik to win the TNA X Division Championship!

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) show up. They're ticked that they didn't win the tag team gauntlet match, and say they're TNA. They complain and complain, saying they should be facing James Storm and Gunnar tonight. Eric Young shows up and tells Bad Influence to run, but they still attack him...until Abyss returns. Bad Influence is toast!

Jeremy Borash interviews "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar. They're here to fight!

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz) scheme their way to a victory against "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar to win the TNA Tag Team Championships!

Sting inducts Kurt Angle into the TNA Hall of Fame. Kurt Angle thanks everyone during his speech, but declines the invitation due to the fact that he has let everyone down and lowered his standards, and promises to work harder. When he knows he deserves it, he'll join Sting.

Dixie Carter wants the AJ Styles merchandise removed. We then meet Ethan Carter III, who has an opponent hand-picked by Dixie.

With no referee, ODB takes on and Lei'D Tapa and gets flattened...and so does Brooke! Gail Kim takes advantage and wins a three-way match to win the TNA Knockouts Championship! ODB then grabs Gail Kim and...raises her arm after handing her the belt? Looks like Lei'D Tapa and Gail Kim have an alliance!

Gilbert Corsey interviews The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz!) and Phil Heath. They're ecstatic, bros!

Jeremy Borash interviews Bobby Roode, who promises to make Kurt Angle tap out.

"EC3" Ethan Carter III beats Norv Fernum (really "Pretty" Peter Avalon from Championship Wrestling from Hollywood).

Magnus beats Sting with his own Scorpion Death Lock. Sting tries to shake hands with Magnus, but Magnus doesn't reciprocate the respect and just walks away.

Jeremy Borash interviews Bully Ray. He plans to beat AJ Styles to the point that he's a broken man.

As Bully Ray fights AJ Styles, Bully sends for the boys. Dixie Carter shows up, and passes a steel chair to Bully. This fails, and Dixie tries to intimidate referee Earl Hebner, stopping the count. However, all the interference and tricks from both Dixie and Aces and Eights wouldn't stop AJ, who beats Bully Ray in a no-disqualification match to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship!

Friday, October 18, 2013

Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for October 18, 2013

Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero are in the ring. Vickie is making sure she has order and discipline tonight, and that she has Brad Maddox to help her with that. Big Show is banned from the arena, and security around the perimeter is strictly enforced by the National Guard. Daniel Bryan shows up, and after promising ot beat Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell, he says that "a certain Bigfoot Sasquatch character" is here...right now! Big Show's music hits, but there's no Big Show. He does, however, bring out Goldust and Cody Rhodes. Vickie puts D-Bry and the Rhodes brothers against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) tonight.

The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) beat The Miz and Kofi Kingston. Bray Wyatt tells The Miz to "enjoy his world while he still can" as his family will soon take it all away.

As Nikki Bella takes care of Tamina Snuka, Brie Bella beats AJ Lee.

Big Show appears before the next match. He has an autographed ticket from Daniel Bryan, and he thanks the fans for their support. Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero show up and threaten to press charges against him, but Big Show knocks Brad out.

CM Punk beats Big E Langston. Paul Heyman shows up and calls Big E Langston a rookie before saying that Ryback will destroy Punk at Hell in a Cell. Punk calls Heyman an idiot for calling himself "Best In The World" and continuously bragging about his Night of Champions victory, saying he'll put Ryback and Heyman through hell. Heyman approaches the ring with his Heyman Guys, and both Axel and Ryback pummel on Punk. However, Big E Langston joins in and clobbers Axel, helping Punk clean house and initiating a face turn. Big E then tells Heyman "Who's the rookie now?"

Josh Matthews interviews Alberto Del Rio, who trashes the fans and John Cena before promising to win at Hell in a Cell. He then puts Josh Matthews in the Cross Arm Breaker!

Zeb Colter guests on commentary for the next match.

Looks like Zeb Colter couldn't stop talking about Los Matadores (Fernandez and Diego)...because Los Matadores show up and sic their bull El Torito on him! This distraction is enough for The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) to beat The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro).

Randy Orton shows up before the next match. He thinks Daniel Bryan has delusions of grandeur and says that Daniel won't win at Hell in a Cell.

Daniel Bryan, Goldust and Cody Rhodes beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns).

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 17, 2013

Dixie Carter shows up with two security guards and a briefcase. She says that Bound For Glory will be her finest work yet as she compares herself to Michelangelo. She praises Bully Ray for his actions last week, then announces a contract signing for the TNA title match for this Sunday before making it obvious she's trying to keep AJ Styles out of the match and get someone else to rid TNA of him and replace him in the TNA title match to the tune of the $50,000 which is in the briefcase. Bully shows up and tells Dixie he wants the money, but then Magnus shows up and makes it clear this just isn't right before saying Dixie sucks. He then challenges Bully to a match tonight for free. Bully tries to verbally put Magnus down, but Magnus slaps him. Bully accepts his challenge for tonight.

Kurt Angle is here...

Bully Ray, Knux and Garett Bischoff have plans for tonight, as Bully Ray takes on Magnus and Knux takes on one-half of the tag team champions. Bully Ray tells them "If you have my back, I have yours."

Robbie E beats Christopher Daniels, Eric Young and Hernandez in a four-way match. The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz) will have the advantage this Sunday.

AJ Styles is attacked during a backstage interview by Jesse Godderz, who is trying to cash in on Dixie Carter's $50,000 bounty...but Godders gets clobbered.

AJ Styles shows up. He's flattered by Dixie Carter's $50,000 bounty, and he knows he'll win the World Heavyweight title. He dares someone else to cash in on the bounty. Knux and Garrett Bischoff of Aces and Eights try to get a shot on him, but "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar show up.

Gunner beats Knux.

Chris Sabin wants to be in the main event at Bound For Glory and wants the $50,000.

Knux and Garett Bischoff are ticked off Bully Ray left them high and dry.

Gail Kim wants to team with Brooke concerning ODB. Brooke wants nothing to do with it.

Chris Sabin looks for AJ Styles...but finds Samoa Joe instead. They both have a match tonight. Oops.

Samoa Joe beats Chris Sabin with the rear naked choke. Austin Aries attacks Joe only for Jeff Hardy to run in and beat up Aries. He brings out a ladder, and Manik shows up to hit Sabin and Aries with a high-flying cross body from the top of the ladder!

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian attack AJ Styles to get the $50,000 bounty. Again, it's to no avail, as AJ Styles pulls a ninja-style disappearance with a fire extinguisher.

Ethan Carter III aka EC3 will be at Bound For Glory! Guess what? He is related to Dixie Carter.

Bully Ray beats Magnus as Sting tries to take the steel chain away from Bully. As the ref is focused on Sting, Bully Ray lets go of the chain and low-blows Magnus behind the ref's back. Sting tries to explain everything, but Magnus doesn't seem to care.

Sting and Magnus are still arguing. Samoa Joe breaks it up as Magnus says he wants to make it by himself. Sting tells Magnus he'll be by himself this Sunday.

Kurt Angle shows up. He makes it known to Bobby Roode not to rain on his career, and that he'll never be him. Roode shows up, knows he can't be Kurt Angle, and talks about the legacy he's just beginning when he says he'll beat Angle this Sunday at Bound For Glory. Angle asks how he'll win when he's the one tapping, which causes Roode to attack him. Angle puts Roode in the Ankle Lock Submission, but Christopher Daniels and Kazarian rush in and overpower him before Roode puts him in the Crippler Crossface. Roode tells Angle that he'll be the one laying down the submission.

Bully Ray and AJ Styles show up for the World title match contract signing. Bully signs, and tells AJ he can't beat him before saying he's put the wrestling world on "hard times". AJ Styles isn't impressed, and calls Bully "a big, dumb bitch." He's got too much on the line to lose it all now, and he signs the contract. Bully Ray decides not to put the title on the line and goes for the $50K in cash Dixie Carter has, but AJ Styles outsmarts Bully and gets the briefcase! He then tosses the cash at Dixie Carter and her two security guards to end the show.

My predictions for Bound for Glory

Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs.

E.G.O. (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) vs.

Joseph Park and Eric Young vs.

The BroMans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz)

for #1 contendership for the TNA Tag Team Championships later that night

Here's the preshow for this year's Bound For Glory - an eight-man tag match where the winner challenges James Storm and Gunnar for the tag team championships.

Since Robbie E won the Four Corners match on the Impact Wrestling show before Bound For Glory, he and Jessie Godderz get the advantage: they become the last team to enter the gauntlet.

My prediction: Chavo and Hernandez. Just seems the most logical thing to me, really.

Bully Ray (c) vs. AJ Styles

for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

It's the match you've been waiting for! AJ Styles, the winner of the 2013 Bound For Glory Series, takes on Bully Ray for the World Heavyweight title! AJ may not have a contract, but it won't stop him from putting a big hurting on Bully Ray! Can the TNA title be wrested from the hands of Aces and Eights?

My prediction: I think it can. Going with AJ Styles all the way!

James Storm and Gunner (c)

vs.

Tag Team Gauntlet match winners

Yep, this is the match for the tag team titles.

My prediction: Storm and Gunner will retain.

Manik (c) vs. Austin Aries vs. Chris Sabin vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe

in an Ultimate X match for the TNA X Division Championship

Oh, boy. This started out as a challenge by Austin Aries for the X Division title, and it had Manik, Aries, Sabin and Hardy. Hardy decided to make it interesting by making it a match he had never been in: an Ultimate X match.

The following week, Samoa Joe shows up after Aries beats Hardy in a one-on-one match and adds himself to the match. Now it's a five-way dance for the X Division title...and it's an Ultimate X match, so anything goes!

My prediction: Manik will probably retain...somehow.

Magnus vs. Sting

Magnus, disappointed over his near-win of the Bound For Glory Series as well as his Gauntlet Challenge loss to EGO, finally breaks and clamors to Sting for that one big match that will push him further into the wrestling stratosphere. Sting challenges him to a match in response, and not even a pre-match stipulation from Dixie Carter is gonna stop this one!

My prediction: Sting will win by a thread. As much as I like Magnus, Sting just might be able to get this one.

Bobby Roode vs. Kurt Angle

During his EGO Hall of Fame induction, Bobby Roode went into a scathing monologue about how he should be in the TNA Hall of Fame and not Kurt Angle. Quite interestingly, Angle showed up on television for the first time since he went into - and came out of - rehab for his fourth DUI in five years...and tore up EGO before challenging Roode to a match at Bound For Glory!

My prediction: Kurt Angle will tear Roode up. I can picture it happening very, very easily.

ODB (c) vs. Gail Kim vs. Brooke

for the TNA Knockouts Championship

Now that Brooke and Velvet Sky had a Lei'D Tapa-free match - which Brooke stole the victory away from Velvet Sky in - we finally have ourselves a KO title match.

My prediction: ODB will retain.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 14, 2013

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up to start tonight's show. He says his guest referee spot isn't about him, it's about Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. He guarantees there will be a winner and a new WWE Champion. Orton shows up and says he thinks Shawn resents him as he promises to beat down Daniel Bryan. One thing is for sure: Shawn isn't intimidated in the least, and when Orton tries to RKO the Heart Break Kid, he gets a super kick out of the ring. The Miz rushes in and attacks Orton before he and Orton's match can begin.

Randy Orton beats The Miz after a distraction by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper). Bray calls Miz "the epitomy of everything I loathe in this world" due to Miz's fame obsession.

Fandango beats Santino Marella, thanks to a distraction by Summer Rae.

Paul Heyman gets with Brad Maddox concerning CM Punk's low blow victory on Ryback at Battleground. Paul Heyman wants to pick the stipulation for Punk vs. Ryback at Hell in a Cell.- a 2-on-1 handicap match between Punk and the team of Ryback and Curtis Axel. Maddox makes a Beat the Clock Challenge consisting of two matches: Ryback vs. R-Truth and Punk vs. Axel! If Ryback wins his match, Heyman gets to pick the stipulation for Punk vs. Ryback. But...if Punk wins his match and beats Ryback's time, Punk makes the stipulation.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) beat 3MB (Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre).

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up. They're filing charges against Big Show after last week, and are second-guessing their generosity before repeating such an ordeal like they had with Show. Triple H is angry at the crowd reaction from what happened to him last week, and says Big Show will grovel back to him, as will anyone who gets out of line with him or Stephanie at this point. If anyone even thinks the word "Yes!," then they had better start praying. Daniel Bryan shows up and starts a "Yes!" chant only to be attacked by Alberto Del Rio. Stephanie puts both men in a match for later tonight.

Ryback beats R-Truth in 5:44.

Stephanie McMahon congratulates Brie Bella on her engagement to Daniel Bryan, then puts Brie in a match against Tamina Snuka tonight. AJ Lee gets a bird's-eye view, but Nikki Bella is barred from ringside.

The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) beat Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai). After the match, Clay is attacked and Tensai gets the Giant Swing.

Tamina Snuka beats Brie Bella...and destroys Brie Bella afterwards. AJ Lee puts the Black Widow on Brie, too.

Daniel Bryan confronts Stephanie McMahon over what happened to his fiance Brie Bella earlier.

CM Punk barely beasts Curtis Axel in less than 5:44...and Punk gets to make the stipulation for Punk vs. Ryback at Hell in a Cell: Punk vs. Ryback and Paul Heyman in a 2-on-1 handicap Hell in a Cell match!

As Daniel Bryan takes on Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton shows up and says he's going to "check on" Brie Bella in the trainer's room. Daniel Bryan rushes to the back and Del Rio wins by count-out. He finds Brie (and Nikki Bella), but Orton attacks Bryan from behind.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) find out their match tonight is a no-disqualification match.

We see John Cena's road to recovery.

CM Punk will be on SmackDown this Friday!

With the unexpected help of Big Show, Cody Rhodes and Godust beat The Shield (Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) in a no-disqualification match to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions! Triple H is livid!

Vickie Guerrero shows up . She talks about how Big Show punched out Triple H and how Show is a deviant who has lost both his house and his job. Alberto Del Rio shows up and asks her to reconsider his World title match against John Cena at Hell in a Cell. Vickie asks if he was being honest about her being sexy. Alberto says yes, so Vickie wants him to kiss her on the lips! After some hesitation, he does...then Vickie tells him to kiss her ass, because she's not reconsidering! Damien Sandow shows up, says that Del Rio views her as a sex object, expresses his liking of her superior intellect, then says Alberto Del Rio knows Cena would beat him for the title and that Sandow himself would cash in. He then wants to prove that he's the better man. Vickie then puts Del Rio and Sandow in a match tonight. Del Rio then attacks Sandow, but Sandow strikes back quickly.

Curtis Axel retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against R-Truth.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) beat Los Locales (El Local - aka Ricardo Rodriguez - and Tyson Kidd in a mask).

Brie Bella and the Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat Natalya, Eva Marie and Kaitlyn.

Renee Young interviews Cody Rhodes and Goldust. They won at Battleground, and now they're ready to win tonight! But before they do that, they thank the WWE Universe for all their support.

Alberto Del Rio beats Damien Sandow with the Cross Arm Breaker.

Triple H has supposedly suffered a concussion, but there may be other injuries as well. Also, according to the Pittsburgh Police Department, Big Show may be facing charges of criminal tresspass and assault with a deadly weapon (his fists) for his actions on Raw this week.

The Great Khali and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal).

Cody Rhodes and Goldust hand The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) their first main roster loss.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 10, 2013

Dixie Carter comes out. She calls Hulk Hogan "self-absorbed" and "egotistical," and says his name will never be uttered again. She namedrops Stephanie McMahon and Eric Bischoff as she says she can run the show herself. As she scoffs at AJ Styles' recent actions last week, she is interrupted by Sting. She criticizes Sting in a patronizing manner for making his own match against Magnus at Bound For Glory...so she puts him and Magnus in a match tonight against EGO (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) . Whoever loses will not be at Bound For Glory.

Austin Aries takes on Jeff Hardy next...and he's ready.

Austin Aries beats Jeff Hardy with a top-rope brainbuster. Samoa Joe shows up, congratulates him, then adds himself to the Ultimate X at Bound For Glory, making the match a five-way dance for the X Division title.

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) are heading to the ring to take care of their biggest problem.

Eric Young and Joseph Park have a road trip to San Diego...but they have a match tonight!

The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) call out ODB.

Lei'D Tapa attacks ODB during her match with Jessie Godderz.

Bully Ray is coming to the ring...

Garrett Bischoff and Knux argue with Bully Ray, who blames everything on Mr. Anderson. Bully Ray wants Bischoff and Knux to AJ Styles so he won't make it to Bound For Glory.

Magnus and Sting are pumped for Bound For Glory...but they have tonight to deal with first.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are getting ready for the EGO Hall of Fame Ceremony...

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian show up in suits, top hats and canes. After making fun of other Halls of Fame, they bring out Bobby Roode, the first inductee to the Extraordinary Gentlemen's Organization's (EGO) Hall of Fame. After a video package of hilarious proportions, Roode speaks. He puts Daniels and Kazarian on a pedestal before bashing Kurt Angle's accomplishments. The latter doesn't last, as Kurt Angle comes back, enters the ring and gives Kazarian, Daniels and Roode a good thrashing! He then challenges Roode to a match at Bound For Glory!

Bobby Roode is furious that Kurt Angle has challenged him at Bound For Glory.

Brooke beats Velvet Sky to become the #1 contender for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory.

Remember Derrick Bateman? He's back in TNA as EC3...aka Ethan...aka Ethan Carter III!

The Main Event Mafia (Sting and Magnus) beat EGO (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) to keep their spot on Bound For Glory.

Dixie Carter patronizes AJ Styles and tries to bribe him out of his matches for tonight and Bound For Glory with a big fat check just so she can get him out of TNA. It doesn't work.

AJ Styles vs. Aces and Eights (Garrett Bischoff and Knux) is out of control after AJ wins. Bully Ray strikes AJ with a chain repeatedly, with the sole intent of making sure AJ Styles doesn't make it to Bound For Glory!

Wednesday, October 9, 2013

Tamina Snuka beats Aksana.

Big E Langston beats Zack Ryder.

Monday, October 7, 2013

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 7, 2013

Stephanie McMahon shows up. She is disappointed with the outcome to the WWE Championship match from last night, and calls out Big Show. Show comes out. Stephanie McMahon won't take crap from Show, even after he says he knocked out Daniel Bryan because Stephanie told him to and that he also knocked out Randy Orton because he couldn't take it anymore. Stephanie tells him to beg the WWE Universe for forgiveness after saying he has no heart or soul. Big Show calls Triple H a "son of a bitch," and angers Stephanie to the point that she slaps him multiple times before she fires him!

Dolph Ziggler beats Damien Sandow.

Stephanie McMahon chews oiut Brad Maddox for his mishandling of the end of Battleground and tells him to apologize to the WWE Universe.

Natalya, Jojo and Eva Marie beat Alicia Fox, Aksana and Rosa Mendes.

After the previous match, Brad Maddox publicly apologizes and makes Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton - with a special guest referee - for Hell in a Cell. The people will choose one of three candidates on the WWE App. One of these three candidates are Booker T, who makes his case to the WWE Universe.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) beat 3MB (Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre).

Paul Heyman, Curtis Axel and Ryback are in the ring. Paul Heyman  is not happy about how CM Punk won last night. CM Punk shows up and says he kicked Ryback in the balls just to see if he even had any. As Ryback speaks to Punk, R-Truth comes out and speaks to Punk, and both Truth and Punk approach the ring. This starts an impromptu tag team match.

R-Truth and CM Punk beat Ryback and Curtis Axel.

Bob Backlund is the second candidate for special guest referee for Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell...and he officially goes nuts.

Randy Orton beats Kofi Kingston. After the match, Orton is attacked by Daniel Bryan, and all the referees plus some producers and other people at ringside have to stop the brawl, which spills to the backstage area.

The third special guest referee candidate for Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell is none other than the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. He, Booker T and Bob Backlund are officially the three candidates for the position on the WWE App.

Vickie Guerrero brings out Alberto Del Rio's opponent for the night: Ricardo Rodriguez. She then tells Del Rio that he has to defend the World title at Hell in a Cell against a returning John Cena. Alberto Del Rio is shocked, and Ricardo sneaks in a schoolboy pin to get the victory. Del Rio is furious, and tries to break Ricardo's arm in response. With RVD currently taking a break after his loss at Battleground, Ricardo is helpless.

Fandango beats Zack Ryder.

The special guest referee for Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell is...Shawn Michaels!

The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) beat Santino Marella and The Great Khali. Hornswoggle gets a giant swing afterwards only to be struck by the Cobra.

Miz TV is interrupted by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper). The Miz escapes.

As The Shield go on the attack after the match, Big Show comes back and enters the ring as Triple H hides behind The Shield. The Shield go on the attack, but Big Show overpowers them before knocking out Triple H. Daniel Bryan then stands over Triple H and starts a Yes! chant.

WWE Battleground 2013 - The Results

Paul Heyman is confident Ryback will beat CM Punk.

Dolph Ziggler beats Damien Sandow.

El Torito shows his appreciation for the red-clad Renee Young...or something. I dunno.

Alberto Del Rio retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Rob Van Dam in a Battleground Hardcore match with a Cross Arm Breaker wrapped around a steel chair.

Zeb Colter makes fun of the Canadians in Buffalo, New York. He, Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger have plans for Santino Marella and The Great Khali.

The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger) beat The Great Khali and Santino Marella.

Curtis Axel retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against R-Truth.

AJ Lee retains the WWE Divas Championship against Brie Bella after Tamina Snuka attacks Nikki Bella.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust beat The Shield (Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns). Dusty Rhodes stays employed, while Cody Rhodes and Goldust get their jobs back. The locker room as well as some WWE Legends celebrate with the Rhodes family after the match.

Brad Maddox is now in charge after Triple H and Stephanie McMahon leave the show early. He asks Vickie Guerrero for help only to get laughed at.

Bray Wyatt beats Kofi Kingston...who then gets destroyed by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper afterwards.

CM Punk hits Ryback with a low blow as Paul Heyman distracts the referee to win the match, much to Heyman's chagrin.

As Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan fight for the WWE Championship, Big Show comes out as D-Bry goes for the Yes! Lock. He tosses the ref out and hits Daniel Bryan...then Brad Madox brings out Scott Armstrong. He makes the count only to be pushed back out of the ring and get knocked out as well. Show then confronts Orton and punches him out before staring down Maddox to end the show.

My predictions for WWE Battleground

Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow

Welp, this is the kickoff. Yeah, you're reading this right. Sandow is on the kickoff despite still holding the Money In The Bank briefcase and Ziggler fails to have another shot against Dean Ambrose's United States Championship.

My prediction: Dolph Ziggler. Sandow's been losing too much lately...and sadly, it's just going to continue from there, I think.

Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton

for the Vacant WWE Championship

After the fast count at Night of Champions, the WWE title has been taken away from Daniel Bryan again and has been held in advance. Since Orton lost the title to Bryan, the rematch is still on, but the title is now vacant. Can Daniel Bryan get the WWE title for good?

My prediction: Yes! Yes! Yes! Daniel Bryan all the way!

Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

Battleground Hardcore match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Thanks to Triple H, it's official: the match from Night of Champions for the World title is on again. Hopefully, Del Rio won't disqualify himself to keep the title, but he probably won't need to: RVD was slightly banged up as of late and Del Rio will see this as an opportunity to reinjure him for an easier victory. Still, I wouldn't count RVD out just yet...especially when Triple H has made this a Battleground Hardcore match where anything goes!

My prediction: Hopefully RVD will get the title this time. I felt cheated slightly at Night of Champions when Del Rio intentionally disqualified himself. Hopefully this won't happen a second time.

CM Punk vs. Ryback

At Night of Champions, Ryback showed up as CM Punk beat up Paul Heyman to within an inch of his life and turned the tables so a downed Heyman could beat Punk in a handicap elimination match. Now Ryback's a "Heyman Guy" along with Curtis Axel, and even though he'll finally get his hands on Ryback, it might as well be a 3-on-1 match where Punk has the disadvantage.

My prediction: It'll probably get a little messy, but Punk just might get this one. Barely.

AJ Lee (c) vs. Brie Bella

for the WWE Divas Championship

Well, we have one of the Total Divas going against the Divas Champion. C'mon, you knew this was coming.

My prediction: Pretty sure that AJ Lee might retain here.

Goldust and Cody Rhodes (with Dusty Rhodes)

vs.

The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) (with Dean Ambrose)

Thanks to the business proposition Stephanie McMahon gave to the Rhodes family, Cody and Goldust will be fighting for the jobs...and their family's entire WWE livelihood...against the tag team champs. If they win, they get their jobs back. But if they lose, they and their father Dusty are all fired and banned from WWE.

My prediction: The Shield will probably win at this rate. With Cody heading to Pro Wrestling Syndicate and Dusty being fired as NXT commissioner (and replaced with JBL), there's not really much for me to expect here.

Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth

for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

According to WWE.com, R-Truth got his Intercontinental title shot from Brad Maddox after all.

My prediction: R-Truth will win the title. I'm picturing Curtis Axel losing the title simply because of CM Punk's mind games.

Bray Wyatt vs. Kofi Kingston

This whole thing feels last minute, since the backstory for this didn't start until the last Raw before Battleground, when Bray Wyatt spoke to Kofi...but it's happening. It wasn't until the last SmackDown before the pay-per-view that Wyatt challenged Kofi to a match as cryptically as only Bray Wyatt himself can do it.

My prediction: Bray Wyatt...because he hasn't lost yet. Period.

Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for October 4, 2013

Big Show shows up. He knows he's done some bad things to good people, all because he has no money and he can't get much of a second job. It doesn't help that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are hanging his iron-clad contract over his head. He just wants some understanding from the WWE Universe as he is ashamed of what he's done. He plans to destroy The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) tonight as he is now a "borderline lunatic giant." Triple H shows up, and says he's ashamed of Show for questioning his authority. He pulls out an envelope which contains Big Show's mortgage. Triple H has bought the mortgage out from the bank, saying that instead of owing the bank, Show owes him. He then threatens to take his home if Show doesn't keep his emotions in check, and changes his match tonight so that Randy Orton fights alongside The Shield, making it four-on-one. As for Big Show's threats to knock Triple H out, "they're cool," according to the latter.

Rob Van Dam beats Fandango by disqualification when Summer Rae knocks RVD off the turnbuckle. Fandango attacks RVD afterward, but RVD soon makes a hardcore comeback!

Ryback beats R-Truth...then Curtis Axel attacks Truth after the match!

Renee Young interviews Alberto Del Rio, who plans to send Rob Van Dam packing this Sunday. A backstage worker gives the torn-up trash can from RVD's attack on Fandango earlier in the night to Del Rio as a gift from RVD. Del Rio is furious and walks away from the interview.

Damien Sandow joins on commentary for the next match.

Alberto Del Rio beats Dolph Ziggler in a heated match with the Cross Arm Breaker.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) beat 3MB (Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal)...and when 3MB attack them, they end up getting embarrassed by both the matadors and their bull, El Torito!

Renee Young interviews Paul Heyman, Curtis Axel and Ryback. Heyman believes that both of his clients will achieve supreme victory at Battleground.

Brie Bella beats Aksana, then AJ Lee appears with Tamina Snuka to mock Brie, saying that she'll lay Brie out like Randy Orton laid out Daniel Bryan at the end of Raw this Monday.

Kofi Kingston gets a win out of nowhere against Big E Langston. As Kofi leaves, The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Haper) surrounds him. Bray Wyatt challenges Kofi Kingston to a match at Battleground.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Ambrose, Roman Reigns) and Randy Orton vs. Big Show ends in disaster. The Shield and Orton decimate Show. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) go after The Shield as Daniel Bryan goes after Orton, who is trying to injure Show. Daniel Bryan gives Orton a good beating, and even though Ambrose attacks D-Bry, D-Bry fires back and blows Ambrose away before going back onto Orton. Orton retreats.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 3, 2013

AJ Styles shows up. He plans to beat Bully Ray at Bound For Glory. Bully shows up. He says Dixie Carter is in AJ's head, but AJ simply laughs off his statements as Bully makes it clear he plans to destroy him at that point in time. AJ tells Bully he's no better than Dixie, and Bully takes it as a compliment before insulting him. AJ then announces Bully Ray has a match as per Hulk Hogan...and that Samoa Joe's gonna kill him.

AJ Styles confronts Dixie Carter...who sics security on him, forcing him to leave.

Austin Aries guests on commentary for the next match.

Jeff Hardy and Manik beat Kenny King and Chris Sabin. Sabin attacks Hardy and Manik after the match, but Austin Aries chases him out of the ring before challenging him to a four-way match for the X-Division title that also involves Hardy and Manik. Jeff Hardy grabs the mic and wants it to be something he's never done before: an Ultimate X match!

Sting and Hulk Hogan talk about Dixie Carter's power trip. Whatever Hulk's decision is, Sting has his back. Dixie's assistant gives him some chocolate...the same chocolate Dixie gave to Sting last year. Hulk knows what he has to do.

Last Thursday, Sting meets with Magnus, who is about to go to Hogan to make a gauntlet match against EGO (Bobby Roode, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian).

Bobby Roode beats Magnus by submission to win the gauntlet challenge for EGO (Roode, Kazarian, Christopher Daniels). Magnus snaps, and Sting shows up to talk Magnus down. Magnus feels he doesn't measure up after what's happened in recent months, and wants that one big match. Sting gives him that one big match at Bound For Glory...and it's against the Stinger himself!

Austin Aries talks to Hulk Hogan, and thanks him for all that he's done.

Chris Sabin prepares for his Ultimate X match next week.

Lei'D Tapa shows up before Brooke (Tessmacher) vs. Velvet Sky can begin, and lays waste to Velvet Sky.

We meet Ethan. Guess what? He's some rich prick with a Maserati.

We see interviews about why "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunnar teamed up to win the tag titles.

Samoa Joe beats Bully Ray by disqualification when the ref catches Bully Ray hitting Samoa Joe with the chain. The ref is knocked out and Bully goes after Joe. He almost piledrives Joe into the concrete, but AJ Styles - who was forced out the arena at the start of the show - comes back and goes after Bully Ray before running away from arena security and into the crowd.

EGO (Kazarian, Christopher Daniels and Bobby Roode) celebrate their gauntlet challenge victory. Bobby Roode will also be inducted into the Extraordinary Gentlemen's Organization Hall of Fame next week.

Dixie Carter shows up and mocks the fans, then calls out Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan quits, and Dixie Hogan tries to keep him from leaving to no avail. She ends up having a temper tantrum and firing him even though he's already quit.

Don't forget: Kurt Angle will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound For Glory on October 20th!

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

Wednesday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for October 2, 2013

Damien Sandow disarms the Cobra to beat Santino Marella.

Triple H simply tells Michael Cole that he's not embarrassing Big Show, saying he's simply keeping him in line and getting him to do what's best for his family. He then puts Big Show in a handicap match against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) this Friday on SmackDown.

The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) beat The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil). Titus O'Neil eats a Sister Abigail from Bray Wyatt.

R-Truth will take on Curtis Axel for the WWE Intercontinental title at Battleground.

Curtis Axel beats Zack Ryder.

The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger) beat Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai).
