"Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring to start tonight's show. The World Heavyweight Championship is on a podium in the middle of the ring. Jey says that people are getting in his ear, but he does not care what they think, as it is just him for the World Heavyweight Championship, but all of a sudden, CM Punk shows up. CM Punk playfully mocks Jey Uso by calling for an encore of his own entrance theme, then says that while he is happy for Jey for listening to himself and avoiding all of the noise before mentioning his friendship with Jey. He says he has never been in Jey's situation because he listened to himself and followed his own heart, which he admits is harder to do when is either losing or about to lose. Punk says he has a lot of questions and that Jey's body language answers a lot of them for him. He says that Jey has what it takes, then asks Jey how far he is willing to go. He says that both of them need to be champion again, as his own time holding the World Heavyweight Championship after beating Gunther was way too short and he knows how far he is willing to go. Punk says that Jey will find himself in a situation that he cannot "yeet" himself out of and asks him again how far he is willing to go. Jey says "Let's go, Punk...let's go, Uce." He says he has swam in deep water before, then says Punk will spin the block and get the fans to think he is the man to get behind while painting him as the bad guy. He then tells Punk to screw himself, as he is about to show him who the best in the world really is.

Bron Breakker feels they should have been in last week's battle royal, but Paul Heyman reminds him that General Manager Adam Pearce would have suspended them all and kept him away from the promised land. Heyman says there is one man who shares their vision right now, and that he will soon be victimized by someone who is a victimizer. Heyman tells Breakker that if he can beat him, then his path to the World title is clear. Lyra Valkyria runs into The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), and Asuka is not happy that Lyra and Bayley have a tag team title match, which ends up being the surprise Bayley had for Lyra. Backstage, "Main Event" Jey Uso meets with Jimmy Uso. He tells Jimmy that he loves it and that nothing will change that, but tells him that he did not send him over the top rope and did not betray him. JD McDonagh beats Sheamus after Finn Balor hits Sheamus with his shillelagh as Sheamus goes to the top rope.

Alexa says they do not back down from a challenge, and Charlotte says they are two matches away from having the most successful defenses as Women's Tag Team Champions. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up, and Asuka says they should be the one with the title shot, then says Bayley and Lyra Valkyria do not stand a chance, and neither do Charlotte and Alexa. Charlotte says that she has beaten her before and looks forward to facing her, but Asuka says Charlotte is not ready for her.

Backstage, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee talk with General Manager Adam Pearce. Styles says next year may be his last year, but right now, he and Dragon Lee are World Tag Team Champions and are looking for challengers. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh show up demanding their World Tag Team Championship rematch, and AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are game for a rematch next week. Pearce makes it official.

We see a spinning red poker chip with "2026" on it.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. After the match, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) run into the ring and attack everyone, but they run away when Bayley stands up to them to protect Lyra.

He says he has found himself in the ring and that his conditioning is on point, and admits that Charlie Dempsey is a heck of a competitor. He then says he has been struggling to find a cornerman due to being unable to change everyone's perceptions around him and break away from his father's image. Suddenly, William Regal shows up to take that offer, saying he knew his father and that five decades of being the business has told him that the apple does not fall far from the tree when it comes to second-generation wrestlers. Regal says he appreciates Lexis trying to be his own man and says he will be happy to be his cornerman. Lexis thanks Regal and thanks his hand, but Regal tells him there will be a time to thank him.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews General Manager Ava, who hopes that Nathan Frazer and Axiom can hold their ground against Cedric Alexander and Je'Von Evans on Tuesday. She also says that she cannot wait to see how Lexis King vs. Charlie Dempsey for the NXT Heritage Cup Championship will go now that Lexis has William Regal as his cornerman. After the match, as Fallon Henley proclaims The Fatal Influence (Jacy, Fallon, Jazmyn) have made a statement, Zaria appears again, this time behind The Fatal Influence, and she takes them all down.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Adrianna Rizzo, Luca Crusifino). Ridge Holland shows up and says he did what he would do, then says that he has left everyone wishing he had never returned to NXT and that he is putting everyone on notice. Bubba Ray warns Ridge not to do this again.

Beore the next match, Tatum Paxley suddenly crawls out of a coffin, and General Manager Ava wants to take her to medical. Tatum says that after what Wendy Choo did to her, she wants a match. LA Knight sits at the head of the table, and refuses to budge or allow Heyman to move the table before he demands that the contract be signed. Nick Aldis welcomes everyone to tonight's show before overseeing the contract signing. LA Knight says that the contract states that Roman Reigns will hand the Undisputed WWE Championship over to him before signing, then allows Roman to do the same. Roman thinks LA Knight is crazy just for immediately signing away, then asks him if he has ever had a contract signing and if he has ever had a championship match before, then says Knight has no clue what he is doing. Roman then says he will go easy on him before signing the contract with a pen that Heyman has provided him. When it does not work, he signs the contract with the second pen that Heyman has provided him. The crowd chants "Roman's scared" before Nick Aldis leaves the ring and wishes both Roman and Knight the best of luck at Crown Jewel. As Roman gets up to leave, LA Knight says he is the head of the table and tells Roman to acknowledge him, then tells Roman that he is already beaten if he underestimates him and that he will take his title as part of a climb so fast Roman will not know what hit him. Knight says this is his first time, but he only needs one time, for while Roman was failing over and over again and saying "Sufferin' Succotash," he has been telling everyone whose game this is as there can only be WWE Champion and one him. He says he cannot stop his gravy train and "the undeniable kevorka" and that he cannot stop being him, then Roman topples the table over Knight and attacks him. Roman soon pulls another table out from underneath the ring and sets it up, but that gives LA Knight time to recover and turn the attack around. Suddenly, Jimmy Uso shows up and attacks LA Knight. Roman and Heyman leave the ring before LA Knight puts Jimmy Uso through the table.

The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) beat The Latino World Order (Santos Escobar and Carlito). During the match, Rey Mysterio, who was originally scheduled for this match before Carlito wanted revenge, is watching the match from backstage when he is attacked from behind by Logan Paul. He says he will give it to LA Knight, as it is the closest Knight or the Packers will ever be to being champions. He then commands Heyman to make a match between Jimmy Uso and LA Knight official for tonight.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Logan Paul, who says that his fist is as big as Rey Mysterio's head and that one should never let their opponent know their next move before leaving. He briefly runs into Kevin Owens, who is then confronted by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory for saying they have punchable faces, and officials have to walk in before things get physical and as Owens bets she can both of them in the face at once. As Theory and Waller talk while Owens walks away, they are sucker punched all of a sudden by Owens.

John Cena heads to the ring. Cena says there is a special energy in the building tonight, but for him, the energy is a little different, for while the energy is special, it is serious for him and has not been this serious since WWE tried to fire him twenty years ago. He says that for over twenty years, he has given his heart and soul and the fans give him the noise whether he likes it or not, support when he needed it most, and respect. He says Crown Jewel is serious, because for the first time in over twenty years, he feels he is in jeopardy of losing the fans' support and respect. The fans chant "You still got it!", but Cena asks "What if I don't?" He says the data cannot be ignored and if he cannot deliver soon, he will lose the fans, and he wants to keep this ride going. Cena says there is only one thing left to do at Crown Jewel: win. He says that WWE uses the term "must-see" a lot, and Crown Jewel is as must-see as it is "must-win." He says respect is earned and that it is one thing to guarantee a victory, but it is time to dig deep and deliver. Suddenly, Paul Heyman shows up and says he is here with no hustle, with loyalty only to the truth and with respect. Heyman offers his hand and shakes hands with Cena, then thanks him for everything and talks about how he drafted Cena to WWE and how he raised his kids to be more like Cena than like him. He says that Cena may not be the greatest of all time after losing to Roman Reigns, but he is still the greatest of all time at communication and that he can talk like no one else to the point that Cena could have been like him if he just kept talking. Heyman then states that Cena "pissed off The Bloodline," and says that while Cena have come back from various injuries, he will not come back from Solo Sikoa's Samoan Spike and he will never talk again. He says that if Solo takes Cena's voice away, it will take Cena's voice away from the fans, and that Cena will not be able to win this "must-win" match. Suddenly, Cena is attacked from behind by Solo Sikoa. Solo hits the Spinning Solo, then hits the Samoan Spike.

Dragon Lee beats Cedric Alexander.

Bianca Belair heads to the ring. Bianca says she is excited to be back on SmackDown, and that while she was away, she had only the backstage attack on her by Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai) on her mind. She says this did something to her not only physically, but mentally, because for the first time, she was sitting at home with nothing but her thoughts, and she had only thoughts on how to make Damage CTRL pay as she got stronger. Bianca says that for the first time in her life, she was consumed by vengeance, and that vengeance only fueled her and gave her a plan. She says that at Crown Jewel, she is getting her rematch against Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Championship. Bianca then says that is not all, because next week, she will go one-on-one with Bayley, for her vengeance will not be complete until she takes out Damage CTRL.

Players from the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team are seen in the crowd.

LA Knight beats Jimmy Uso. After the match, Roman Reigns rushes at LA Knight, but LA Knight dodges him and sends him into the corner before hitting him with the BFT.

After the commercial break, Frankie Kazarian talks with Josh Alexander. Kazarian says he is looking out for his best interests and that there is a target on Alexander's back, and he wants Alexander to make it to Over Drive. After the match, Ethan attacks Guevara from behind, and when Guevara fights back, Scorpio Sky runs into the ring and attacks Guevara until the rest of The Inner Circle runs in and chases Scorpio and Ethan away. Jericho calls out Scorpio and Ethan for ganging up on Guevara after the match, and says that while Scorpio has beaten his twice, the last person of prominence Ethan has beaten is himself in his hotel room. This starts a "Beat Your Meat!" chant in the crowd, then Jericho says there will be a ten-man tag match at Full Gear between The Inner Circle and team of Scorpio, Ethan and American Top Team, and that thanks to Tony Khan, it will be a Minneapolis Street Fight. He then tells Scorpio and Ethan to tell "that pumpkin-headed dipshit" to be there so The Inner Circle can see who they will make "MMA meatsicles" before paraphrasing "Sweet Emotion" when he says The Inner Circle will win.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston. Eddie tells he has to take a Zoloft every day so he doesn't have depression that turns into crushing anger that causes him to get locked up. After saying he is done talking and done listening, Eddie leaves, and Danielson says that this is the Eddie he wants to leave and that he and many others have gone through what he has gone through and has worked his way up. He says that Eddie has worked his ass off and is one of the hardest workers he has ever faced, but in the World Title Eliminator Tournament, he will beat him.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Lucha Bros. (Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix). Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix say that they know what FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) want and that they will put the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the line at Full Gear. Alex Abrahantes says that FTR does not know the sacrifices that The Lucha Bros. have made to become tag team champions, and for that, they will put the tag team titles on the line.

Hikaru Shida beats Serena Deeb after countering the Deeb-Tox into a sit-down pin to win her 50th match - becoming the first woman to do so in AEW history - and advance in the TBS Championship Tournament. After the match, Deeb hits Shida with a chop block before targeting Shida's left knee with a chair. She then locks in the Serenity Lock after hammering the left knee into the mat, and referees and security have to get Deeb to break the hold.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Lio Rush and Dante Martin. It is announced that Mike Sydal is injured and that the match between there will be a third match between Matt Sydal and Dante Martin. He then says the third time will be the charm for Dante now that he will be in his corner and that Matt Sydal will be "the failed student."

Jon Moxley beats Preston "10" Vance to advance in the World Title Eliminator Tournament after tearing 10's mask and busting 10 open.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Tully Blanchard. Wheeler says they have waited almost a year to get the AEW tag team titles back, and now, the titles are theirs. Tully says he and FTR have "hit the reset button" and that nobody knows what is coming down the pipe. Harwood says that come Full Gear, The Lucha Bros. (Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) will fight for the tag team titles and their lives and FTR will go down as the greatest tag team of all time.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring. After the commercial break, Arn Anderson is there with him. Cody says he hears everyone and says that while he beat Malakai Black with a Tiger Driver '98, he considered hitting a different move for a brief moment and wonders what would have happened if he had hit that move. He then says he did not hit that move because it would have been too easy and would have been "the easy way out," and tells the fans that they can do whatever they want, but if they want to boo, they should "boo the true narrative." Cody says you can hate the man who signs the checks but you cannot hate the man who built the bank, then throws his shoes in the audience and tells them to put themselves in his shoes. After talking about the family that he has been blessed with, he says the easy way out is not the way and that he will not turn because he has always loved the fans, and if he "went Hollywood" on anyone, he apologizes to those who thought that he did. Cody then tells Arn Anderson that it is "a damn honor" to stand in the ring with him and that he was right. Suddenly, Andrade and Jose - the latter in a neck brace - show up. He says that the people do not like Cody and that he himself does not like the people, and that Cody made stupid choices including his neck tattoo and getting in his business. Andrade says that he can make Cody his "little bitch," then the lights go out. When they come back on, Malakai Black is in the ring. Malakai spits the black mist in Cody's face, then he, Andrade and Jose attack Arn Anderson and Cody Rhodes. PAC runs into the ring and takes out Malakai Black, then beats up Andrade, causing Andrade to retreat. PAC then mocks Malakai's sitting down in the middle of the ring before flipping him off.

Before the next match, members of both teams come out in costume, with The Super Elite coming out with a Ghostbusters theme (complete with a Ghostbusters-inspired entrance theme) and The Dark Order coming out in various costumes such as Bambi, Kratos, Brandon Cutler, and cowboys.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, Colt Cabana) beat The Super Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Adam Cole, Kenny Omega) in an eight-man tag team match after the top half of The Dark Order's horse costume is low blowed and given the BTE-Trigger only to be revealed as Brandon Cutler with his mouth taped up, causing the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man to unmask and reveal themselves as "Hangman" Adam Page, who helps The Dark Order get the win.

Referees, security and Scott D'Amore show up to stop Eric Young, who demands a world title rematch right now. D'Amore says this is not how it works, and tells him to look at himself, as he is his own worst enemy. D'Amore tells Eric Young he is not getting his match, but Rich Swann tells D'Amore to make the match right now, saying he is ready. D'Amore is reluctant, but he makes the rematch official for right now.

He says he has gotten with the management team, and after reviewing the facts and the barrister's threats, Su Yung is still the rightful Knockouts Champion. Suddenly, Deonna Purrazzo shows up with Kimber Lee and the barrister. The barrister says that D'Amore has made a lot of mistakes in his life, but this one takes the cake, as D'Amore omitted that Su Yung only came to the ring because something happened to Kylie Rae. He says that if this is the kind of behavior he wants to reward and endorse, this is his choice, but it will become his client's choice to take this to court however long this may take. He says that D'Amore may be able to win the case, but he does not have the time or money to wait it out, and says that Deonna Purrazzo is the rightful Knockouts Champion. D'Amore says he likes a good threat and good lawsuit, and if the barrister and Deonna Purrazzo wants to "slow roll" it, so be it, even though the courts are shut down and not taking many new cases. He says that Deonna can take this to court for years, or Deonna can be what she claims to be and have her contractually obligated rematch where she can win the Knockouts Championship back. The barrister talks with Purrazzo and Kimber Lee, and states that Purrazzo agrees to D'Amore's terms. Su Yung shows up and puts the barrister and Kimber Lee in the Mandible Claw and spits red mist in D'Amore's face. Rosemary says she has better things in mind than leaving Bravo at the altar. Alisha shows up and asks if she has shown up in time, and Taya says "I have a bad feeling about this." After Taya leaves, Alisha asks why everyone keeps saying "I have a bad feeling about this."

Next week: Chris Bey vs. Trey Miguel! Deonna Purrazo vs. Su Yung for the Knockouts Championship! "The Big LG" Doc Gallows vs. Ethan Page! Eddie Edwards and Rich Swann vs. Eric Young and Sami Callihan!

When they come back on, a gunshot-like sound is heard, and John E. Bravo is on the mat with a blood splatter where his heart is. Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for October 27, 1997

Eric Bischoff and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up to start the show. He says that Piper is gone and struggling for breath in the hospital, and that he is still the man, the icon and god. He says the nWo-ites are on an ultimate high, and challenges anyone in WCW, even if they're up in the rafters or out in the crowd. He then says nobody can beat his superhuman strengths, and that he and Bischoff will rule the New World Order and the wrestling world for eternity because they're just too sweet. Bischoff tells Hogan he should be sitting back and enjoying the moment, and that tomorrow night, Hogan will be taking over TNT with the premiere of Assault On Devil's Island. Hogan says he and Bischoff thrive on the hunt, and now that they're destroyed the wrestling world, Hogan will etch his name on Hollywood Boulevard for forever and a day with his new movie, as he and the nWo are here for life.

It is announced that "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko is not on commentary tonight (and has been replaced by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan), but he is in the building right now despite his attack at the hands of the nWo last night and that we will hear from him.

Rey Mysterio Jr. retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Dean Malenko after reversing the Texas Cloverleaf into a roll-up. It is announced that the encore of Halloween Havoc will air on pay-per-view tomorrow night. During the match, Raven and his men (Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman and the unknown man, who is finally identified as "Sick Boy") are seen walking down to the front row.

Mike Tenay makes another report on lucha libre and the Mexican luchadores. Fans rely on publications to stay informed, as television programming for lucha libre is limited. Most of the merchandise is masks, action figures and toy wrestling rings, and masks are like T-shirts when showing whom one's favorite luchador is. Family is also very important, as being the son of a popular luchador leads to great expectations as well as demands. Ray Mendoza, father of Villano IV and V, asks that his children finish school before they learn how to wrestle so they can put their heart into the craft. We also see footage of El Hijo Del Santo talking about his father's funeral and about how Mexico came together during that trying time, and we also learn that even in death, El Santo was buried with his mask around his face and his identity still concealed. Next week's report will be on the high-risk maneuvers and their importance and influence on lucha libre.

We see a performance from The Nitro Girls, who are all in Halloween costumes.

Glacier beats La Parka after sending La Parka face-first into his own chair.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page, who takes the interview to the ring. He says he knows "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan was the one who dressed up as Sting and whacked him in the ribs with the baseball bat, as Hogan knew he had the match won and that Savage gets "banged" every time they square off. He says Hogan is an icon, but he's not a god, and if Hogan wants some of him, then he accepts his challenge, saying it's time to whack Hogan with something after being whacked with the World title, crutches and even a baseball bat.

This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Rey Mysterio Jr.! Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray)! "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit! Lex Luger! The Giant!

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko in the ring. Zbyszko says he did what he set out to do, and that Scott Hall couldn't handle the pressure and took it out on him. He is sick of Hall, and pulls out "a first-class ticket to Larryland" out of his pocket in the form of a contract for a match, telling him that if he wants a match with him, he's got it, and that he will wrestle him anytime, anywhere. As he calls Hall out, Hall shows up with Syxx. Hall says everyone has seen what Zbyszko has to offer in the wrestling ring, and that it's not much. He says Zbyszko isn't even in the same calibur as The Wolfpack (Kevin Nash, Hall, Syxx). After giving a shout-out to Kevin Nash, who is still recuperating at home, Hall tells Zbyszko he could come to the ring right now and give him a ticket in coach "down here" and that Zbyszko couldn't even beat Eric Bischoff in a match. We see the footage of Hall, Syxx and Bischoff's attack on Zbyszko at Halloween Havoc, then Zbyszko continues to call out Hall, telling Hall to get in the ring as Hall mocks him. Hall then announces that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan will show up later on and take care of business, then he and Syxx prepare to leave. Zbyszko says if he wants the match, he's got it, and all he has to do is sign the contract. Zbyszko then tells Hall he will haunt him.

Lex Luger beats Stevie Ray with the Torture Rack.

Raven, Billy Kidman, Stevie Richards and Perry Saturn are seen in the front row.

We get another message from Raven. "We all need a haven, a sanctuary, a place to hide, a place to escape. A place to dream and hope. A place where the darkness won't be so frightening. So it is written. So it shall come to pass. But for some, the darkness is a relentless enemy that cannot be eluded, and once the darkness senses your fear, once it senses your pain, it is never far behind. I can empathize with these people. I can understand their futility. I can forgive their hopelessness. I can feel their pain. Quoth the Raven, nevermore."

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Eddie Guerrero beats CHris Jericho after landing on his feet during an accidental vertical suplex over the top rope and Jericho hurts his right shoulder again. Before the match, it is announced on commentary that Jericho's right shoulder is not in the best of shape as he landed on it during a hurricanrana on Gedo at Halloween Havoc.

"The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit beats The Belfast Bruiser, who hasn't been seen since last year and now goes by the name Fit Finlay.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He says that if people thought they missed him, imagine sitting at home watching "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Curt Hennig parading around in his robe. He came close last night, but tonight is another night, and if he sees Hennig, Hennig is a dead man. He also predicts that Hogan will take the Diamond Cutter, then announces he will have the privilege of walking the aisle against "Macho Man" Randy Savage. He tells Savage to stay out of his life, and he has crossed the line and they both know each other well. Tonight, he will end Savage's reign with Slim Jim in one night and give Miss Elizabeth a ride on Space Mountain in the next.

BBefore the next match, Raven gets in the ring with Stevie Richards, Billy Kidman, Perry Saturn and Sick Boy. Stevie Richards announces that it is a well-documented fact that Raven refuses to sign a contract with WCW, and the only way he will wrestle is if referee Nick Patrick makes the match a no-disqualification match. Raven takes the microphone, then says there is no reason for him and Scotty Riggs to fight as Riggs hasn't won a match in six months. He says there was once the potential for a great athlete, but there is now demons and he can feel his pain. He asks Riggs to come with him, and he'll set him free. Riggs refuses, but Raven gives him one more chance. Riggs tells him to stick it, and Raven tells him he's made his choice.

Raven vs. Scotty Riggs ends in injury. During the match, Raven sends eye-first into a steel chair folded into the seated position eye-first. When Billy Kidman confronts Raven, Raven tosses him out of the ring and heads back to his seat, and it is mentioned on commentary that there is potential that Scotty Riggs might not wrestle ever again.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Diamond Dallas Page beats "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan by disqualification after a man dressed as Sting rushes into the ring to attack Page only to eat a Diamond Cutter. Hogan then whips Page with his belt, then calls out the rest of the nWo to gang up on Page. The fake Sting is helped to the back, then the real Sting runs through the crowd and into the ring. After Sting lays Vincent out with the Scorpion Death Drop, Sting fights off the rest of the nWo.

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.

Bill Goldberg vs. Disco Inferno for the WCW World Television Championship ends in a no-contest. Before the match can begin, Alex Wright attacks Goldberg, but Goldberg lays him out. Disco Inferno gets the Jackhammer, then Steve "Mongo" McMichael rushes into the ring only to get tackled. Security have to keep Mongo and Goldberg separated. Disco Inferno retains the WCW World Television Championship.

Eric Bischoff and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up again, and this time they are not in a good mood. Bischoff says Sting can't dance like the sign he has in his hands says, and that he can't get in the ring with Hogan, who has had it. Hogan says he is the man, and now that they and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, they don't have to worry about Diamond Dallas Page and Sting, saying Page isn't in his league and that he saw the fear in Sting's eyes. He says he'll flush Sting out of the ring and kick his butt over there. He then plugs the premiere of his brand-new movie Assault On Devil's Island tomorrow night, and if Sting wants to get his hands on him, all he has to do is show up in Las Vegas and he'll call his bluff and sign the contract for the match. Hogan says his new movie will body slam Hollywood, and if Sting wants a piece of him, he'll sign his name on the contract in blood, as when Sting finally goes down, it will be for life.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and Ted DiBiase. Scott says it's been a tough year for them, and that it was tough to regain the tag titles. He thanks the officials at WCW, and thanks the WCW for their support. He also thanks the nWo and the nWo fans for coming up with "Wolfpack Rules" as it was fun to beat the nWo on their own rules. DiBiase says nobody is happier for the Steiners than him, especially when they put their trust him when the trust was questionable and that he was allowed to prove his trustworthiness, and says that they have overcome tremendous adversity as the nWo did everything they could to see this wouldn't happen - they lie, cheated, stole and avoided them like the plague - but The Steiner Brothers beat them at their own game. He then issues an open challenge to any who wants to take the tag titles from them, but when they get in the ring with The Steiners, they're in the dog pound as the bark is loud but the bite is even worse.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock).

Booker T beats Curt Hennig by disqualification after Miss Elizabeth distracts the referee to allow "Macho Man" Randy Savage to hit the top rope elbow drop on Booker T. When the ref turns around, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair rushes into the ring to go after Savage.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair beats "Macho Man" Randy Savage by disqualification after Curt Hennig tries to interfere. As Flair fights Hennig, Savage takes the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, which Hennig has brought into the ring, and hits Flair from behind with it. Hennig and Savage attack Flair after the match.
