Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 20, 2015

Randy Orton shows up, as a steel cage hangs above the ring. The cage lowers once he gets inside. Randy then calls Seth Rollins a "stupid bastard" for thinking banning the RKO will make it easier for him to win, especially with the steel cage surrounding the two of them. Randy plans to give Rollins the beating of a lifetime. Rollins shows up, saying that so-called beating isn't going to happen, that Orton has anger problems, and that he's so much better inside and outside the ring. Orton responds by saying that as soon as he gets back to the back, he's going to RKO anyone he see backstage during the break, and that he'll eventually RKO Rollins before the end of the night.

Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper brawl before their match can even start.

Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) are backstage when they are nearly scared half to death by The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) as they look over their shoulders for Randy Orton. Rollins chews out a backstage worker who thinks this is funny before running into Triple H. He trusts Triple H to do the right thing concerning Kane, but as for Randy Orton, he wants more security. Triple H tells him "it's only one guy." Rollins isn't too thrilled.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) beat The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) by count-out after Xavier Woods grabs hold of Sin Cara's legs underneath the ring, keeping him from getting back in the ring before the count of ten. The New Day get a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules, but after the match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods eat an RKO from Randy Orton. Big E retreats before he suffers the same fate.

Fandango beats Curtis Axel.

Triple H shows up. He says that Seth Rollins will take the WWE into the future, but it is now time to find the next Seth Rollins. On June 23rd, Tough Enough returns, and anyone - anyone - can send in a 60-second video to WWE.com to prove they have what it takes. Only ten men and five women will win a slot on the show, and only one of those fifteen can become a WWE Superstar or Diva. Kane then shows up, stating that he's giving his two weeks' notice after Triple H says he is behind Seth Rollins. Triple H offers to handle this with him in the back like men, but Seth Rollins shows up and says "Let him quit. To hell with him." This starts some bickering between Kane and Rollins, with Kane calling Rollins out for acting as entitled as he does. Triple H stops the arguing, sides with Kane and makes him "Guardian of the Gate" in Rollins' Steel Cage match against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules. Rollins is ticked off.

Triple H catches Seth Rollins and Kane arguing again, and has to remind Kane that he's no longer fire and brimstone due to his Director of Operations duties. Kane feels otherwise and walks away. Triple H then tells Rollins to show a little respect and appreciate Kane's efforts, and puts him in the match against Dolph Ziggler that he should have had last week.

Nikki Bella guests on commentary for the next match.

Naomi beats Brie Bella.

Heath Slater tells Erick Rowan that he's taking John Cena's open challenge for the United States title at catering...then gets RKO'd through a table by Randy Orton.

Roman Reigns comes out, but he'd rather fight than talk and proceeds to call out Big Show. Instead of Big Show, however, he gets Bo Dallas, who now sports a beard and a goatee, who proceeds to verbally crap all over him and call him "Outback Jack in kevlar" and "The Tim Tebow of the WWE." He soon gets Superman Punched and Speared, and Reigns says that while Big Show chickened out tonight, he has no choice on Sunday...and that we can "Bolieeeeeeeve that."

Sheamus beats Zack Ryder after Dolph Ziggler saves Ryder. During the match, Sheamus is on the microphone the whole time and mocks both Ryder and the Albany, New York crowd.

John Cena shows up. He showed Rusev he means business and knows the WWE Universe cringes whenever he says the champ is here. He knows Rusev wants to destroy, hence why he chose the Russian Chains match stipulation at Extreme Rules. Cena, however, plans to put him back down again. He then throws down the open challenge, to see if anyone can step up and become a future big name Superstar. Surprisingly, it's answered by none other than Kane.

John Cena retains the WWE United States Championship against Kane.

Triple H glances at Kane as he heads away from the ring, as if to imply "I told you so."

Renee Young interviews The Miz, who verbally trashes Damien Mizdow. When Renee Young announces that Byron Saxton is standing by with John Cena, The Miz is ticked.

As Byron Saxton interviews John Cena, Cena is suddenly attacked from behind by Rusev, who has a chain in his hand and proceeds to put him in the Accolade with it until a referee pulls him off of Cena.

The Miz beats Damien Mizdow to retain the rights to the Miz brand after Summer Rae rakes Mizdow's eyes from outside of the ring. After the match, he gets a surprise RKO from Randy Orton.

Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper are now in a Chicago Street Fight at Extreme Rules.

We get another cryptic promo from Bray Wyatt. Who is he talking about?

Ryback beats Adam Rose. After the match, two Rosebuds, one dressed as a banana and another dressed as a hot dog, attack Ryback only to get Shell Shocked.

Renee Young mentions that J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) joked about him with Seth Rollins on Twitter to Kane when she interviews him. Kane barges into Triple H's office and confronts Rollins, and Rollins apologizes to Kane for putting him through a whole bunch of crap, saying that it's embarassing when Kane keeps saying he helped him win the Money in the Bank contract. Rollins heads to the ring along with Mercury and Noble, and Randy Orton isn't too far behind.

Ryback takes on Rusev this Thursday on SmackDown.

Seth Rollins beats Dolph Ziggler when Ziggler is distracted by Sheamus. After the match, Rollins talks about how he'll become the man when he wins against Randy Orton on Sunday. Triple H shows up in mid-sentence to proclaim that Rollins will win Sunday, but Rollins takes the microphone and decides it's a good idea to tick off Kane yet again by saying that making him guest gatekeeper is completely unnecessary and useless. Kane shows up to confront Rollins one more time, but J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) and Triple H hold him back as the cage comes down around Rollins...only for Randy Orton to be in there with him. Rollins eventually gets an RKO at the end of the night, as promised, to end the show.

We get another cryptic message from Bray Wyatt.

The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).

Booker T interviews Roman Reigns in the ring. Once again, Roman talks about how close he came to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. When asked about Big Show screwing him out of another title shot, Roman calls Show "[Seth Rollins'] giant bitch." Roman tells Show that if he continues to get in his business, he plans to retire him by shoving his Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy down his throat. As Reigns leaves, Big Show comes out from the back and immediately demolishes Reigns, choke slamming him on the big black taxicab that serves as a prop during WWE's United Kingdom televised events and slamming him into the doors. (During the break, medical staff try to help Reigns, who refuses medical help, gets off of the top of the car and heads to the back under his own power.)

Randy Orton beats Cesaro by disqualification after Tyson Kidd tries to fight Orton. Kane shows up and restarts the match as a 2-on-1 Hanidcap Match between Orton and the team of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. If Orton wins, he gets to pick the stipulation for his match against Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules.

Randy Orton beats Tyson Kidd and Cesaro.

Kane and Seth Rollins talk backstage. If Rollins beats Dolph Ziggler, he gets to pick a stipulation, too. Rollins doesn't want to face Ziggler, and makes Jamie Noble his opponent so that Jamie will lay down for him. Jamie reminds Kane that the current situation is all on him, and threatens to do something to him that involves a car battery and his testicles. Rollins has a better idea: him vs. Kane to protect him and his title. Kane, knowing he's backed into a corner when Rollins threatens to get Triple H on the horn, walks away silently.

Dean Ambrose beats Adam Rose.

Big Show talks to Kane backstage, telling him to do what needs to be done concerning Seth Rollins. Kane assures him he will.

Daniel Bryan talks to Kane backstage, telling him he's not the Kane he once knew. This angers Kane, and Daniel tells him that if he had any guts, he'd be a man and not a stooge when he got in the ring with Seth Rollins.

This Thursday on SmackDown, John Cena holds another open challenge for the WWE United States Championship and responds to Rusev's Russian Chain Match stipulation for their US title rematch at Extreme Rules.

Kane demolishes Seth Rollins and appears to refuse to lay down...only to lay down and put Seth Rollins' arm over his to give Rollins the win, allowing Seth Rollins to pick another stipulation for his match against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules.

Damien Mizdow (accompanied by Summer Rae) gets the roll-up victory against The Miz.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) make fun of Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego).

Dean Ambrose soon rushes in and fights Harper as revenge for Harper putting him through a ladder at WrestleMania 31, but Harper escapes through the crowd and tosses a steel chair at Ambrose.

Byron Saxton interviews Naomi, who is ticked that she's been passed up for opportunities at the Divas title after having recently beaten Nikki Bella twice. She is tired of having her kindness taken for weakness, and she's not waiting for another chance at the title.

Dolph Ziggler is in the ring. He criticizes Kane for laying down for Seth Rollins, then issues an open challenge. Neville answers it.

Dolph Ziggler beats Neville in a short but well-received match. After the match, Ziggler is Brogue Kicked from behind by Sheamus, who then proceeds to attack Neville before brawling with Ziggler and ending up on top.

This Thursday on SmackDown, Big Show will explain his actions towards Roman Reigns earlier tonight.

Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury) show up to a ring with a black canvas and black leather chairs. After defending Kane's actions from earlier tonight, he is about to mention his stipulation for his match against Randy Orton when he calls out Orton. Orton shows up. After some talk, Rollins announces his stipulation: the RKO is banned. Orton then announces his stipulation: a steel cage match. He then topples the recliner that Rollins is sitting in and then fights off J&J Security before attacking Rollins, who then retreats to end the show.

The show starts off with Edge's retirement speech from the April 11, 2011 edition of Raw.

Edge and Christian start off the proceedings. They compromise and combine The Peep Show and The Cutting Edge to do The Cutting Edge Peep Show, with tonight's guest being Seth Rollins...who takes on Roman Reigns tonight. Also, Rusev will take on Dolph Ziggler in a Champion vs. Champion match, although neither of them will be naked, much to Christian's disappointment. Daniel Bryan will be here later to talk about his future. Edge and Christian then begin to do the five-second pose for all those with flash photography, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up. Lesnar isn't in the mood to destroy Edge or Christian; instead, he's more focused on John Cena, according to Heyman. Cena shows up. He promises to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back at Royal Rumble, then puts his hands on Paul Heyman. Lesnar goes for Cena, but Cena has Lesnar read like a book. Lesnar breaks out of the Attitude Adjustment and retreats along with Paul Heyman.

Dolph Ziggler beats Rusev by disqualification when Rusev keeps Ziggler in the corner for too long. Rusev then locks the Accolade on Ziggler and uses the ropes to do more damage. As officials try to get him off Ziggler, Ryback shows up and forces Rusev to retreat.

Ryback talks about his road to where he is now: being a guest bell ringer as a kid at his first WWE live event in Las Vegas, $1,000,000 Tough Enough, going through depression, getting back in the groove and being re-signed by WWE, breaking his ankle in three places, beating the doctor's expectations, and becoming The Ryback. After a video package of Ryback, Ryback tells Rusev that this won't be just a "USA vs. Russia thing," it's going to be a "big guy giving another big guy an ass-kicking thing" at Royal Rumble.

Nikki Bella beats Natalya after the distraction from Brie Bella.

Naomi thanks The Miz backstage, telling him that thanks to his connections to the music producer, she has future projects outside of WWE lined up. She wishes Miz luck on his tag team title match against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

He doesn't care about connecting with the Universe; he just cares about putting a show every night. He issues an open challenge to anyone who doubts him...and the person who answers is none other than Bad News Barrett, who is back after being on the injured list for six months.

The Miz and Damien Mizdow barge in on Christian playing the kazoo to demand a rematch against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Edge (and his stunt double puppet) gives them a match, but it's not against The Usos and it's not for the tag titles.

He wants to ring in 2015, but he doesn't want to do it alone...so he calls out Big Show, who shows up. He also calls out John Cena, who doesn't come out immediately. Rollins then says he wants something from Cena, but when Cena doesn't show up, Rollins decides to force his hand by attacking Christian with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Edge shoves Rollins, and he is soon surrounded by Big Show, Rollins, and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble). Show forces Edge to the ground, and they all threaten to paralyze Edge for life. John Cena rushes in, but Rollins threatens to break Edge permanently if Cena doesn't bring back Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. John has no choice but to bring them back, but it's all a trick as Rollins attempts to Curb Stomp Edge. Cena fights everyone off but is easily outnumbered. After John Cena is taken down, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar show up, and Rollins shakes hands with Heyman. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon then appear at the top of the ramp to end the show.

Raw Deal - WWE Raw recap for December 1, 2014

The show starts with a message from the Anonymous Raw General Manager: now that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, the mystery man says that Raw must not be left in the hands of a series of washed-up wannabes. As the anonymous GM makes a stunning announcement (through Michael Cole, of course), John Cena shows up. He talks about Team Cena's victory at Survivor Series until the anonymous Raw GM interrupts. Cena walks to the podium with the GM's laptop and closes the laptop. Seth Rollins shows up with J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble), mocks Cena, and says the only thing he's good at it taking credit where it's not due, as he didn't win at Survivor Series. He also says it's because of Sting that Team Cena won, but Cena gives the credit to Dolph Ziggler. After questioning who might be GM next week, Rollins tells Cena to bring back Triple H and Stephanie McMahon back. Cena says there's no chance of that happening, even if Rollins were to ask him nicely. The anonymous Raw GM butts in and puts John Cena in a match against Seth Rollins at TLC, and if Cena loses, he will no longer be #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and that a new #1 contender will be named. As Cena is about to confront the computer again, Rollins attacks Cena from behind along with Mercury and Noble, with Kane jumping in. Ryback makes the save until Kane smacks him with the steel chair, then Erick Rowan shows up and goes after everyone until Big Show separates him from Rollins and hits him with the steel steps. Ziggler runs in and manages to stop Big Show, but as he tosses a steel stepladder into the proceedings, he is taken down by Luke Harper. Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 24, 2014

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up for the first time since their team's loss at Survivor Series last night. They verbally crap on the crowd and mention what Sting did, then Stephanie McMahon breaks down again and Triple H has to step in on the mic for her. HHH calls the crowd "bullies" for wanting to make Steph cry, and still think they're better than the crowd for knowing the business side of things. He then questions who is going to be the new General Manager, then questions why Sting did what he did last night, saying he put the demise of the WWE in motion with his actions. After asking the WWE Universe what they'll do with their lives when WWE dies out, HHH says that the WWE Universe will be begging for him and Stephanie to come back. All of a sudden, Daniel Bryan shows up and leads a "Yes!" chant in the ring to stick it to the former holders of the keys to the WWE kingdom. He gets in Triple H and Stephanie's way as they try to walk up the ramp to "Yes!" chant in their faces, then returns to the ring to continue the chant.

After the break, Daniel Bryan announces he's in charge of Raw for tonight. His first action? Trotting out Team Authority (Seth Rollins, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, Luke Harper, Kane and Rusev). He puts Seth Rollins in a handicap match against Dolph Ziggler and John Cena...and his two partners will be chosen by the WWE Universe. It's either the team of Mark Henry and Luke Harper, Henry and Kane...or Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury. As for Kane, he's made a concessions guy, and turns from Corporate Kane to Concessions Kane. Rusev is given the choice of either defending the United States Championship against the rest of the WWE or reciting the American pledge of allegiance to the WWE Universe. Luke Harper is put in a match against Dean Ambrose with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Mark Henry is put in a match against Ryback...and it happens right now. No sooner does Ryback's music hit that Ryback goes right to work on Henry before the bell rings, and four officials have to separate Ryback from Henry.

Ryback beats "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry with just one Meat Hook.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon run into Vince McMahon. Dear old Dad gets cheesed off with both of them and expects them to fix the mess they've gotten themselves into before they slink into the limo with them to head back home to Stanford.

Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper for the WWE Intercontinental Championship ends when Harper shoves Ambrose into the ref, causing the ref to call for the bell. Ambrose then beats up Harper, hits Dirty Deeds on him into a steel chair, then readies the table and ladder. All of a sudden, Ambrose is struck from behind by Bray Wyatt. Wyatt then causes chaos at ringside by burying Ambrose underneath a few commentary table chairs.

Santino Marella makes a surprise return along with Larry the Cable Guy from Jingle All The Way 2. Before he can do some comedy, Gold & Stardust (Goldust and Stardust) show up.

The Miz and Damien Sandow retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against Gold & Stardust (Goldust and Stardust) after a Skull Crushing Finale and pin from The Miz despite Damien Sandow doing all the work (and a Figure Four Leg Lock).

He tells Rusev to either recite the American pledge of allegiance or face the whole roster with his United States title on the line. In order to force the former option, he sends out Sgt. Slaughter to supervise. Midway through the pledge, Lana retreats and Rusev confronts Sgt. Slaughter. Suddenly, Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger show up, and Swagger forces Rusev to retreat. Swagger, Zeb and Slaughter put their hands over their hearts and say "We The People."

Santino Marella and Larry the Cable Guy meet Kane at the concession stand. Santino gets mustard on his hand. Also, Kane is a fan of Larry.

Fandango beats Justin Gabriel.

Big Show torments a backstage worker before the break.

Tomorrow on Main Event: Dean Ambrose vs. Kane!

Big Show shows up. He has heard the response to his actions last night, and says that he does hate Triple H and Stephanie McMahon...but last night, he panicked. He thought Team Cena would lose, and says the crowd should at least "owe him a mulligan," Then he turns on the crowd and says he is the Big Show and that he deserves respect. He calls out any "cowards" in the back who want to call him a traitor to show up and say it to his face. Erick Rowan shows up, and Big Show calls him "an upside-down Sheamus." He mocks Rowan, then tells him the ring is no place for him and that he should go back to the back. Rowan takes the microphone and tells him "I...don't...like...BULLIES!" before striking back, forcing Big Show to retreat.

Backstage, Seth Rollins implies to Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble that he doesn't believe they stand a chance in the ring. Enter Dolph Ziggler, who shows up, tells Joey and Jamie that he does, and that he's asked his 1.4 million Twitter followers to vote for them.

Before AJ Lee takes on Brie Bella, AJ congratules her and her sister Nikki Bella in the most sarcastic-jerkish way imaginable by saying that Brie has proven she is a "bigger skank than [her] sister" and pronounces "Let's be honest" as "Les-bi-awn-est," referring to the kiss Brie gave her before Nikki took the Divas title away from her at Survivor Series.

Brie Bella beats AJ Lee after a distraction from her sister Nikki Bella. After the match, AJ Lee grabs the mic and says that since they want to cheat their way to the top, she has news for them: the two of them aren't half the woman she is, and that talent isn't sexually transmitted.

Larry the Cable Guy and Santino Marella guest on commentary for the next match. When The Bunny dances with them before the next match, Adam Rose pulls him away by the ears.

Tyson Kidd and Natalya beat Adam Rose and The Bunny as The Bunny is pre-occupied outside the ring, proud of himself for pulling Adam Rose's foot out from under him from outside the ring...when he thought it was Tyson Kidd's.

Renee Young interviews Ryback. The Big Guy's in the mood for food...and he also pokes fun at the concession stand.

Kofi Kingston, Big E Langston and Xavier Woods bring in a new day...next week!

Ryback heads to the concession stand, and Kane tries to mess with him. It works against Kane...horribly.

John Cena and Dolph Ziggler beat Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury) with a simultaneous Attitude Adjustment and Zig Zag and a double pin. After the match, Daniel Bryan rushes in and tosses Seth Rollins back into the ring and into a waiting Cena and Ziggler. After Cena and Ziggler are done with him, they and D-Bry lead a "Yes!" chant until a familiar smartphone sound fills the arena and the lights go on and off. The anonymous Raw General Manager - computer, podium, Michael Cole reading his will and all - is back next week with Cyber Monday, and promises "order and discipline will return."

Triple H is not swayed by the people's opinion, saying that without him and the rest of the Authority, there would be no WWE Universe. He says he's still here - unlike his Attitude Era contemporaries - because he's the Cerebral Assassin and he's a constant, and without him and Stephanie McMahon, WWE wouldn't last more than one or two years, tops. After being asked what would happen if his team wins, Triple H then calls out Team Cena - John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Erick Rowan and Big Show - so Michael Cole can have their answer and Triple H can respond accordingly. Cena is the only one who doesn't show up, but video footage on the TitanTron shows him saying he feels responsible for his team and knows they would lay it all on the line on Sunday. Triple H ups the ante: if Team Cena loses, Cena's teammates are all fired after Survivor Series.

Wyatt appears on the TitanTron in a jail cell, and brings up Dean's dad again. Before the main event begins, it is announced that Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan are banned from ringside.

Big Show and Ryback try to fight back with the help of Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan, but Team Authority ends up standing tall after Triple H smacks everyone on Team Cena with a steel chair. The worst punishment is saved for Ryback, who receives a Pedigree from Triple H to end the show.

As for tonight's main event against Seth Rollins, he plans to make it memorable and give Rollins the wake-up call he's been asking for. Stephanie McMahon shows, congratulates him for his victory against Randy Orton last night, and says she can't wait for Survivor Series. Stephanie McMahon then wants Cena to turn against the fans, saying they don't matter and that they like it only when he's on the mat. She then wants him to join her in The Authority so he can have all the money and power he wants, as well as a spot on her side's time at Survivor Series, but it all doesn't work, saying all he wants is to run down the ramp and fight, and that he refuses to be remembered as a sell-out. Triple H shows up after this, and says that Cena is making a big mistake working against him, saying that fighting the Authority is fighting the future. He and Dean Ambrose may have been creamed by Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Kane, and Cena lost the World Heavyweight title in a one-handed bout with Brock Lesnar, but he and Ambrose are still standing. Seth Rollins, however, took the title opportunity away when he had Brock Lesnar beat, and now he wants Rollins in a match tonight to see if he can prove himself. When he calls Seth out, he gets Ambrose instead. Ambrose still has a lot of issues with Rollins, and Cena doesn't want anything to do with them. After some arguing, Cena proposes a truce in which whoever gets to Rollins first gets to destroy him so that they don't get left lying on the mat again. Before Ambrose can make a decision on this, Kane, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins appear on the TitanTron and try to drive a wedge between Cena and Ambrose with some second-hand gossip about what one said to the other. Kane then makes a match between the team of him and Orton and the team of Cena and Ambrose to see if Cena and Ambrose can stand each other long enough to survive as a unit.
