Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for May 1, 2026

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Cody mentions that earlier tonight, he met with WWE medical staff as well as General Manager Nick Aldis, and now, he is medically cleared for action. He then states that this begets the question of what is next for him, and all of a sudden, Ricky Saints, fresh out of NXT, shows up and heads to the ring. Saints introduces himself as the hottest new star on SmackDown, then mentions his history with Cody, stating that the change Cody feels in the air is a revolution and that the revolution is him as he welcomes everyone to "Friday Night Saints." Cody asks Saints what the difference is between now and the last time he stepped up to him, and Saints says it is Cody himself, saying his three world title reigns have aged him thirty years. He also says that he has been an NXT Champion since then and while he has cheered him on in the background at the detriment of his career, he will be the one to relieve him of his duties. Cody says he is game for action and that Saints also looks game for action, then proposes that they have a match and shakes hands on it. Saints is about to leave, but Saints says he is not here to make a statement, but to change who the show is about. Cody reminds Saints that he is easy to find and hard to beat.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Rhea Ripley soon shows up and says she tried to take on Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) alone last week and got ambushed, and she is willing to put differences aside if Charlotte is willing to. Charlotte says they have teamed before but they will not team again, but Rhea says there is three of Fatal Influence and only two of them. Charlotte says all she needs is Alexa, and three is a crowd, then Charlotte and Alexa head to the ring.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. Ricky Saints is official for later tonight.

Before the next match, Jacy Jayne says that last week was a small taste of what Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) is bringing to SmackDown, and someone just could not get enough. She then says she thrives off that, because if there is anything Fatal Influence loves to do, it is embarrassing a legend. Jacy proclaims that Fatal Influence will take out everyone's legends one at a time, and that there is nobody better to start with than Charlotte Flair.

Jacy Jayne beats Charlotte Flair after hitting the Rolling Encore on Charlotte after Charlotte boots Lainey Reid off the apron in response to Lainey clobbering Alexa Bliss for Alexa clobbering Fallon Henley for pulling Charlotte out of the Figure Eight. After the match, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) attacks Charlotte, and when Alexa comes to the rescue, they attack her, too. The fans chant for Rhea Ripley, who soon shows up and cleans house. Jacy slips out of the Riptide and nearly shoves Rhea into Charlotte as she escapes. Rhea and Charlotte shake hands.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Brie Bella and Paige. Brie says they are impressed by Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid), but their actions will catch up to them. Paige agrees, saying they will deal with them when the time comes; for now, they are focused on beating The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) and staying champions. As for their match, Brie says that they are powerful former champions, but she and Paige have the experience to get the job done, as SmackDown is their house.

Backstage, Damian Priest meets with R-Truth speaking with Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom), who R-Truth thinks is Los Americanos (Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano). Priest says Fraxiom is deserving of a tag team title shot and looks forward to defending the title. Axiom is taken aback, but Frazer is delighted and goes to talk to General Manager Nick Aldis regarding the match. Priest then finds out that R-Truth was talking about taxes with Fraxiom, much to Priest's genuine confusion.

Backstage, The Miz and Kit Wilson try to trap Danhausen with a briefcase full of "free human monies." Danhausen opens the briefcase, takes only some of the money, and walks away with $40,000. When Miz opens the briefcase, he and Wilson gets blasted with white dust.

Damian Priest and The Miz retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom). After the match, Talla Tonga and Solo Sikoa show up, and Talla Tonga lays waste to both teams at Solo's behest.

After the commercial break, Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga are still in the ring. Solo says that Jacob Fatu made a big mistake last week. After a replay of what happened last week, Solo says that Jacob may have taken out his army, Jacob also took out his own family, brothers and blood, which Solo also claims as his. He says they are not here because of Jacob. Solo then says that when Jacob Fatu gets into the building, he is a dead man walking. All of a sudden, The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) show up and head to the ring. Jimmy says Solo may have an issue with Jacob Fatu, but so does Roman Reigns, and that Jacob made a mistake not by attacking Solo's army, but by putting his hands on Roman and put him in the Tongan Death Grip, which Talla's father used and is a sacred last effort. Jey tells Solo and Talla Tonga to hold their plans up until Roman Reigns is done with Jacob Fatu. As Solo says there is plenty of Jacob to go around, Jey says that they are telling them, not asking them. Solo laughs and says he does not have time for this, but when he tells Talla to go, he nods his head when he goes to the ropes. Talla then takes out The Usos in short order, and Solo tells The Usos to tell Roman that he is not his tribal chief and that they do not give a damn, and whether Roman likes it or not, Jacob Fatu is a dead man.

Backstage, Sami Zayn confronts "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes for calling him "sarcastic" and "condescending" in response to him calling him "Golden Boy," saying it was a compliment and not an insult and addressing their history, saying they are "the last real good guys" and that they need to stick together. Cody says there is a lot in truth in that, but tells him that they are not the same.
The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) vs. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga) is official for later tonight.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Danhausen announces that another fan and not Stephen A. Smith paid him off with real human monies, and for that, the New York Knicks are no longer cursed and are still in the NBA playoffs. He also makes it clear that Stephen A. Smith is still cursed.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Ricky Saints. After the match, Cody Rhodes is suddenly choked out from behind by Gunther with a sleeper hold, and Gunther goes for a second sleeper hold as three referees try to pull Gunther off of Cody and succeed. Gunther then makes it clear he wants the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Danhausen heads to the ring. Danhausen says he has spent the money he found backstage on merchandise for the fans. As he tosses merchandise to the fans from out of a bag, The Miz shows up. The Miz says that horrible things have happened to him since Danhausen showed up, and that he has come to the realization that he is cursed. The fans chant "Yes, you are!" as The Miz reluctantly becomes Danhausen's mentor. As they shake hands, Kit Wilson shows up, saying that The Miz is mentoring him and that Miz is enabling him. Kit Wilson tells Miz to wake up, but Miz says that Danhausen has mastered, inspired and zoned in on what it takes to be a WWE Superstar, and asks Kit Wilson if he can say the same. He also says that Kit Wilson is not in the same league as him, and as Miz and Danhausen are about to shake hands, Kit Wilson begs for another chance. Kit Wilson says that Danhausen should not even be in the building and should be banned, and both men demand that Miz shake their hand. Miz ends up shaking hands with Danhausen and raising his hand. Miz then says there is only one thing left to do, and as Danhausen curses Kit Wilson, The Miz attacks Danhausen from behind, and Kit Wilson joins in. Miz hits Danhausen with the Skull Crushing Finale, and Kit Wilson hits a top rope elbow drop.

We see another vignette for Blake Monroe, who gets out of her bathtub and proclaims that nobody burns brighter than she does. Blake Monroe is coming soon to SmackDown.

Royce Keys beats Angel.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Tiffany Stratton. She wants more challengers for the Women's United States Championship, and issues an open challenge for the title when Chelsea Green shows up and stands up out of her wheelchair. As Chelsea says she will be champion, Kiana James and Giulia show up, with Kiana wanting to secure Giulia's rematch. Tiffany says she has the whole locker room to consider, then makes Kiana her first defense and wants to see how Kiana does when she is not being held back.

WWE backstage staff are seen bringing Trick Williams' gingerbread man costume to the ring.

Backstage, Royce Keys is met by Joseph Fatu, who congratulates him on the match. Royce says he has known Jacob for about fifteen years and he is still the same guy who would run with him seven days a week, even back when they worked at the warehouse. Royce says that The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) are back in business and are ready to take everything, and tells Jacob Fatu to "werewolf his ass up" and prove that WWE did not make him soft, as people like them take everything. All of a sudden, Royce Keys is attacked by Talla Tonga, and Solo Sikoa shows up and attack Jacob Fatu when he tries to make the save.

Sami Zayn heads to the ring. Sami stands next to the the gingerbread man costume in the ring as he says that he really loves coming to Tulsa, Oklahoma, then talks about how the fans turned on Bob Dylan went electric and says that he can relate. He says he cannot figure out what caused the fans to turn on him, but he can deal with it, because he knows his ride-or-die fan club is in the house tonight and will continue to have his back. Sami says that while he can deal with some bad reactions, he cannot deal with disrespect, and calls Trick Williams "a shell of a man wearing a costume" and says it is easy to do what Trick does as he compares him to the gingerbread man costume. Sami says he can do what Trick does in his sleep and that what he really does is hard, as he leaves everything in the ring every day, month and year, and when he looks at the gingerbread man costume, he sees Trick Williams not taking him seriously. He also states that Trick Williams takes nothing seriously and takes that as disrespect, and is about to punch the gingerbread man costume in the middle of the ring. He then shakes the costume's hand before kicking the costume in the groin. Trick Williams then attacks and tears at the costume before pulling a gumdrop button off the costume. Trick Williams rushes in and fights Sami Zayn, and Sami Zayn flees through the crowd.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend). Nia says that they were not pinned to lose the women's tag team championships and that Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were pinned instead, then Lash Legend says that they have something in store for Brie Bella and Paige. Nia says that "the math is mathing" with two teams in the ring and that they will end Brie Bella and Paige's reign and send them back on the couch with Nikki Bella.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Trick Williams, who says that Sami Zayn crossed a line by attacking both Lil Yachty and the gingerbread man, and that Sami is now messing with his money. Trick says he does not play with his money, then says that Sami has a big problem and that he is facing him at Backlash. Trick then finds out that the gingerbread man did not survive Sami's attack, and Trick says that he will whoop Sami.

Brie Bella and Paige retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) after Paige kicks Nia's legs out from under her during the A-Nia-Lator and Brie Bella pulls back on Nia's legs to pin Nia's shoulders to the mat, win and retain.

It is announced, as per Trick Williams, that The Gingerbread Man is dead. In Memoriam, Gingerbread Man, 2026 - 2026. Rest in Pieces.

Backstage, Sami Zayn is talking with General Manager Nick Aldis regarding the funeral of the Gingerbread Man next week, saying that it is proof that Trick Williams takes nothing serious. Sami wants his rematch with Trick Williams for the United States Championship at Backlash, and Aldis gives it to him. Sami leaves, then Danhausen shows up wanting a match with Kit Wilson and The Miz. Nick Aldis says he will get that match if he can find a tag team partner.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) vs. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga) ends with Jacob Fatu showing up and attacking Talla Tonga. After the match, Jacob Fatu smacks Talla Tonga with the ring steps, then confronts Solo Sikoa, who realizes too late from looking at Jacob's left hand that he is ready to hit someone with a Tongan Death Grip. Jacob briefly chokes out Solo, and when Talla grabs Jacob, he gets the Tongan Death Grip before Jacob Fatu puts Talla through the announce desk with a Samoan Drop. Jacob then confronts The Usos, then walks right through them to end the show. Afterwards, Jacob Fatu tells The Usos to tell Roman Reigns that he will dog walk him at Backlash.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 13, 2026

We hear from Roman Reigns, who says that he gave CM Punk advice only for Punk to do what he thought he would do: lie and try to revise his history. He says that his fans lived through it all and that Punk exposed himself as a hypocrite. Footage of CM Punk and Pat McAfee speaking is shown, then Roman says that while he likes Pat McAfee, he has never had a punter run his mouth to him. He says that it is not 2012 anymore and the fans love him now. Roman says he will give CM Punk one last chance to tell the truth, or he will. We then heard the words "This message has been approved by your Tribal Chief."

General Manager Adam Pearce and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque are in the ring. Pearce announces that Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar will sign their match contract separately to avoid what happened last week before Paul Heyman arrives. Heyman says it is "WrestleMania fight week" and that nobody should even get close to "The Beast," Brock Lesnar, who shows up and heads to the ring with Heyman. Heyman signs the contract for his WrestleMania match before tipping his hat to Pearce while Triple H shakes Heyman's hand. Lesnar grabs the microphone from Heyman's hand and says that nobody will remember Oba Femi's hand after this weekend, then Heyman says that in "the real main event of WrestleMania," there will be a winner and a loser. He says that the loser's name is Oba Femi, and that the winner will be Brock Lesnar.

iShowSpeed is met by The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory). iShowSpeed admits that he is not a wrestler, but Logan Paul says it does not matter and that he is a phenom, and that it is time to lock in. Austin Theory recaps the situation, and says that LA Knight and The Usos have it out for him. iShowSpeed psyches himself up, then starts training with The Vision. Some of the Performance Center talent is involved (including Dante Chen), and at one point, iShowSpeed is able to do a Boston Crab. At the end, iShowSpeed is a lot more confident.

Lyra Valkyria beats Bayley after Charlotte tosses Lyra into Bayley on the outside and goes for an O'Connor Roll only for Bayley to trip up Charlotte on the outside, allowing Lyra to get the win. After the match, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss brawl with Bayley and Lyra, and the referee has to get between both teams.

We see footage from yesterday of NASCAR racer Bubba Wallace in the #23 WrestleMania 42 car.

Backstage, LA Knight and The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) are met by The MFT's (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo). Solo Sikoa says The Usos make the family look bad by hanging with LA Knight, and after Jimmy tells Solo he has a big problem, LA Knight challenges The MFT's to a six-man tag match tonight.

We see some footage of Netflix's new biography about Hulk Hogan, Hulk Hogan: Real American, revolving around becoming the third man and joining the New World Order at Bash at the Beach 1996.

Cathy Kelley interviews Stephanie Vaquer in the ring. All of a sudden, Vaquer is attacked from out of nowhere by Liv Morgan, and officials have to break up the ensuing brawl. Liv dares Vaquer to fight her in the ring, then says that she knew Vaquer's mother was trash, yet she did not know that she raised a little bitch. Vaquer yells at Liv before getting back in the ring and fighting her again. Once again, officials have to separate them both.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Iyo Sky. Iyo says she may have lost against Jade Cargill last week, but she does not regret fighting for Rhea Ripley, and nobody will be rooting for Rhea more than her. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up, and Asuka tells Iyo that Rhea is not her family. She also mentions Iyo entering WrestleMania last year as champion, then says that Iyo is just Rhea's sidekick now. Iyo takes exception to this and tells Kairi Sane that she does not have to listen to her, and that leads to Asuka putting Kairi in a match against Iyo tonight.

LA Knight and The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat The MFT's (Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo) in a six-man tag match. Near the end of the match, Solo Sikoa is distracted with Tama Tonga, who suddenly shows up from behind the barricade, and Solo confronts Tama about where he has been alongside Talla Tonga as LA Knight hits Tama Tonga with the BFT for the pin and the win.

Gunther heads to the ring. After the commercial break, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins rushes to the ring and attacks Gunther before he can speak. Rollins calls this his receipt for Gunther attacking him two weeks in a row, and at WrestleMania, he finishes the job. Rollins then says that if this is personal for Gunther and not about kissing Paul Heyman's ass, then Gunther should look him in the eye and tell him why he should fight him at WrestleMania. Gunther calls Rollins' bluff and says he will solve Heyman's problem with a smile on his face, as Rollins has been pissing him off by walking around like he is the best in the ring while he is the best and not Rollins. He says that Rollins became a useful idiot for Heyman and that he is setting it straight at WrestleMania and proving that Rollins cannot lace his boots. This leads to a brawl, and Rollins nearly hits The Stomp on Gunther into the ring steps before Gunther retreats into the crowd.

We see smoke on a black background. The screen flashes red while a heartbeat can be heard. Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio complains to General Manager Adam Pearce about having to face The Demon and not Finn Balor, and wants the WrestleMania match cancelled. Pearce tells Dominik that he is getting what he deserves at WrestleMania, just like Rey Mysterio.

Actor Yahya Adbul-Matteen II and Sacramento Kings forward Dylan Cardwell are seen in the crowd.

Kairi Sane beats Iyo Sky. During the match, Rhea Ripley shows up to keep Asuka from getting involved in the match and goes for Riptide on Asuka only to be attacked from behind by Jade Cargill. Iyo takes out Cargill with a tope suicida, then fends off Kairi Sane before going for Over the Moonsault. As referee Jessika Carr checks on Kairi, Asuka trips Iyo off the top turnbuckle, and Kairi wins with a schoolkid pin.

We see a video package for Becky Lynch vs. AJ Lee for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania.

General Manager Adam Pearce and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque introduce Oba Femi to the ring to sign the contract for his WrestleMania match against Brock Lesnar. Oba Femi shows up, heads to the ring, shakes hands with Triple H and Pearce, then signs the contract. Oba then takes the microphone, then notices Paul Heyman on the stage. Heyman says that in his entire life, he has never seen someone handle Brock Lesnar the way that Oba Femi did and says that Oba is a violent man, which he admires from afar as he calls Oba the greatest up-and-comer he has seen since Lesnar. Heyman then declares that this will all come to an end and that everything Oba has built will come crashing down with an F-5 in Suplex City by Brock Lesnar. He also tells Oba that there is no shame in this lose and nothing but pride in being in the WrestleMania main event, and that while Oba will be conquered by Lesnar, his door will always be open to Oba Femi when he needs to rebuild his career. Oba says it is taking everything to keep him from beating Heyman pillar to post, then says that it is deeper than that. He says that while the physical scars will heal, the emotional wounds will last forever when Lesnar loses. He says that the only door he needs to open is already open, and that is the door to WrestleMania. He says Heyman and Lesnar issued the challenge to whoever stepped up, and that he has proven that Lesnar can be baten. Oba says this is just business, but it is not business as usual and that he, Heyman and the fans can all feel it. He says it is time to put an end to Lesnar, then calls Heyman out on his dishonesty, for if he were honest, he would admit that Lesnar is afraid of him. Oba says that he will slay "The Beast" and that he will be the one to beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

We see the world premiere of Liv Morgan's "Trouble," which was briefly hinted at last week with the footage of the dancers.

Je'Von Evans and Dragon Lee beat Rusev and JD McDonagh with a Styles Clash from Dragon Lee to JD McDonagh. After the match, Rusev attacks Je'Von Evans and Dragon Lee, then Rey Mysterio runs to the ring and fights Rusev only to get clotheslined. Penta shows up and brawls with Rusev only to eat a Machka Kick. Je'Von goes for an OG Cutter, but Rusev lays him out. When McDonagh congratulates Rusev, Rusev lays him out, too. Rusev then attacks Dragon Lee and puts him in the Accolade.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is on the phone with John Cena when he is met by Danhausen, who wants to speak with Cena. Danhausen hopes to see Cena, as Pearce cannot see him. Pearce tells Cena that he will call him back, then Danhausen disappears.

Roman Reigns heads to the ring. As Roman demands the crowd acknowledge him, CM Punk shows up and heads to the ring. CM Punk says that Roman made a "smear campaign" in the show's cold open and states that Roman can be judge, jury and executioner as he tells his truth, then states "Tell me when I'm telling lies." Punk heads towards the ring, but Punk says that if he enters the ring, they will not need microphones. Punk stands at the apron and states that he hates Roman because he envies him, and says the only dream that he has ever had in his heart and all he ever wanted was handed to Roman. Punk says he hates that Roman was champion for 1,316 days and the number of times that he main evented WrestleMania. As he hates that he envies Roman, he talks about how he respected Sika as well as the old-timers, and hates that he mentioned his father's name in vain and apologizes to Roman for it. Punk says that he hates that there is more than one royal family and that he was not born into it and has no idea what that life is like. He says he was born in the streets of Chicago, Illinois and had to find his own family in the fans. Punk says he found his family in the indies, travelled the world twice and busted his ass to make pro wrestling his home and his family, and hates that he has to share this main event WrestleMania match with Roman. Punk says that at Saturday, he has gold on his shoes and around his waist, and when it is all over, he will have gold above his head as he retains the World Heavyweight Championship while the fans chant "CM Punk." Roman says that this is "the truest stuff he heard [Punk] say...up until the end," then says he hates Punk and has hated him for a long time, but it is because of Punk's relationship with the fans. He hopes that when he leaves, the fans miss him as much as they missed Punk and chant for him for ten years straight, and that the connection Punk has is the one thing he really has, and it cannot be taken away from him. He then says that Punk's truth is not reality and that time will be up for him at WrestleMania, and that he will become the new World Heavyweight Champion. He says that the experiment and nostalgia act is done, and that the Punk problem will be fixed and he will take back over, and the world will acknowledge him.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 30, 2026

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Stephanie McMahon makes a surprise appearance as Cody is about to get started with speaking to the fans to discuss the situation at hand regarding Cody, Randy Orton and WrestleMania, but admits Cody will not like what she has to say. She says that she, Cody and Orton are all multi-generational members of WWE history and that they understand the business better than most, and while Cody stayed on a golden path and has brought the best out of his business, he will not be able to do it with Orton. She says that this version of Orton is diabolical and that Cody will have to be able to think like Orton, and that Cody's father Dusty Rhodes knew better than anyone else and could get down and dirty with the best of them. She also says that Cody is not his father. Stephanie says that "this version of Cody Rhodes cannot beat this version of Randy Orton" and that Cody does not know how he is dealing with. Cody says he knows everything about Randy Orton and how Orton was the coal that became the diamond, the youngest world champion in WWE at one point, legend killer by merit, and at one point so violent that some of his own past actions cannot be shown today. Cody says that some of those actions happened to Stephanie and that he was there on the road with Orton to make sure he was still breathing after the matches he had been through. Stephanie slaps Cody in the face and says she is out here because she cares about him and that nobody is giving him guidance, and that this version of Orton is not only listening to the voices in his head, but also relishing them while listening to someone else. She then says that if Cody does not figure it out, WrestleMania will be the last time Cody is introduced as Undisputed WWE Champion. Cody stops Stephanie as she leaves, then thanks her and leaves himself.

Backstage, Danhausen shows up when iShowSpeed is talking with General Manager Adam Pearce, and a desperate iShowSpeed begs Danhausen to uncurse him. Danhausen wants a billion dollars and rights to his streaming services as payment, among other things. LA Knight, who will be guesting on commentary in the New York City Street Fight that is happening next, shows up briefly, and amazingly, Danhausen does not disappear afterwards.

LA Knight guests on commentary for the next match. Internet streaming personality iShowSpeed is seen in the front row.

The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) beat The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) in a New York City Street Fight to win the World Tag Team Championships! During the match, Logan Paul's mother hands brass knuckles to Logan Paul, and as iShowSpeed does not want Logan to use the brass knuckles due to Danhausen cursing him, he inadvertently gets dragged into the match by LA Knight when Knight goes after Logan Paul. iShowSpeed grabs the knuckles, and when LA Knight notices this, iShowSpeed inadvertently knocks him out. The Usos briefly have the upper hand during the match, but Logan Paul is able to get the knuckles back, and despite being knocked to the outside, he is able to knock out Jimmy Uso. Jey hits Logan with a tope suicida, but Austin Theory is able to crawl up to Jimmy Uso for the pin, the win and the titles.

Comedian Jeff Ross and Hamilton playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda are seen in the crowd.

Liv Morgan heads to the ring. Liv tells Stephanie Vaquer that she is done not just for attacking her, but for also attacking her family. She says that Vaquer has no family in WWE yet wants to berate her for hiding behind her and attacking her any chance she gets. She asks if Vaquer is afraid to meet her face-to-face, then says that where she comes from, it is on sight. Liv says her mother taught her to never let anyone get the best of her, then states in Spanish that Vaquer's mother is trash and calls her out. Vaquer shows up, and Liv and Vaquer brawl in the ring. Vaquer drops Liv with a superkick, then grabs a metal folding chair only to be attacked from behind by a returning Roxanne Perez. Liv joins in on the beating, then hits Vaquer with Ob-Liv-Ion on the metal folding chair.

Backstage, iShowSpeed tries to tell The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) that he did not mean to get involved in their match, but Logan, still thankful for iShowSpeed's help regardless, tells iShowSpeed that he will be alright with them, especially now that he has enemies in WWE. "The Oracle" Paul Heyman shows up, agreeing with Logan, then tells Logan and Theory to take iShowSpeed out to dinner. iShowSpeed, Logan and Theory leave, then General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and tells Heyman to check his e-mail.

The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. During the match, The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) show up, but so do Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Both teams argue, and when Lyra Valkyria gets between them, Nia Jax tosses her into both teams. The Bella Twins get taken out, and Charlotte and Alexa get in the ring. Charlotte hits Nia Jax with a chop block, ending the match, and she and Alexa gang up on Nia. This leads to all four teams getting in the ring and forcing The Irresistible Forces out.

Danhausen announces that WWE will return to Madison Square Garden for Saturday Night's Main Event on July 18th, with tickets available April 2nd.

Brock Lesnar and "The Oracle" Paul Heyman head to the ring. Brock Lesnar is in his wrestling gear compared to previous appearance. Heyman says he is here to pontificate on the perils that await Oba Femi, and states that Brock was caught off guard by Oba when he was distracted by Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, then says that Brock was not dressed to fight a week later and that Oba decided to pick a fight anyway. Heyman then notes that Lesnar is now dressed to fight, as Lesnar has authorized him to let everyone know that he has seen this for 25 years in WWE and UFC, and that when Lesnar beats someone up, they end up pissing all over themselves. Lesnar then grabs the microphone and immediately calls out Oba Femi, then General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with security and states that this will not be happening tonight. Pearce says that he is preserving his WrestleMania main events and is out here to do just that, then tells Heyman and Lesnar to leave the ring as Lesnar and Oba fighting tonight is not happening. Oba Femi shows up and powers through security, then tosses Pearce to the side, circles to the ring and gets in the ring. Heyman leaves the ring as Oba and Lesnar have a staredown, and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque gets in the ring to reason with both men and get between them as things are about to get violent. Heyman and Lesnar leave as Triple H says this is happening at WrestleMania, and Lesnar grabs the ring steps before tossing them back down and leaving. Lesnar then hits a security guard with the F5 to send a message to Oba Femi.

We hear from Finn Balor. He says The Judgment Day ("Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) was a family as they ran Raw for four years, and in that time, he has made enemies and bad decisions, including thinking he could make a man out of "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. He credits Dominik with turning his family against him, but reminds Dominik that he turned to him when he turned against his father Rey Mysterio and that he stepped up for him. He says that Dominik lost the Intercontinental Championship not because of his actions, but because he is a self-centered jackass. Finn Balor says he created that jackass, and that he will destroy him at WrestleMania.

Penta retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. During the match, Kofi keeps telling Grayson not to get involved on the match so that he can win the title on his own, and at one point, Grayson gives Kofi the "I told you so" treatment only to eat a Mexican Destroyer from Penta on the outside. After the match, Jackie Redmond congratulates Penta on the successful title defense, then asks what is next in store for Penta and the Intercontinental Championship. Penta announces that at WrestleMania, the Intercontinental Championship will be defended in a ladder match, stating that the top of the ladder is not his challengers' world, but his kingdom.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with "The Oracle" Paul Heyman and wants to know where Brock Lesnar is. Heyman states that Lesnar has left the building, then Pearce reminds Heyman about his e-mail. Heyman says he is from New York City and that he keeps an ear to the ground, then heads to the ring to speak to the fans again.

"The Oracle" Paul Heyman is in the ring. Heyman says he tried to do something special for the fans and give back to the community, and tried to give the fans Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi only for General Manager Adam Pearce to end it. Pearce shows up to tell Heyman to shut up. Pearce says he has tried to help Heyman a couple of times tonight, then asks him if he has checked his e-mail. Heyman says there is not something he does not already know, then Pearce tells him that Boston police have dropped all charges against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. Heyman says he is a native New Yorker and is afraid of no man, then says he is the last manager standing from the 1980s and the last promoter standing from the 1990s. Pearce also announces that as of right now, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is medically cleared to compete. Rollins shows up from behind Heyman with a metal folding chair and smacks Heyman with the chair. Rollins goes for The Stomp on Heyman onto the chair, but he is pulled out of the ring and put in a sleeper hold by a returning Gunther. Gunther chokes Rollins into unconsciousness, then points at the WrestleMania sign.

Elle Duncan of Netflix Sports is seen in the front row.

Raquel Rodriguez beats Iyo Sky. During the match, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up, and Kairi gets on the apron only to get blasted by a big boot meant for Iyo Sky. Asuka then grabs Kairi and yells at her, and Iyo Sky hits Asuka with a tope suicida before telling Kairi to break the cycle and end things with Asuka. Iyo then gets back into the ring only for Raquel to hit the Tejana Bomb for the pin and the win.

We see a video from X (formerly Twitter) from John Cena, who announces that he will be hosting WrestleMania 42.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce announces that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is hurting, pissed and looking for a receipt, and that Rollins will get it against Gunther at WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns heads to the ring. After Roman demands that the fans acknowledge him, CM Punk also heads to the ring. Punk and Roman brawl, and Roman hits a Superman Punch. Roman goes to toss Punk out of the ring, but Punk reverses it, and the brawl goes to the outside where officials, including General Manager Adam Pearce, rush out to restore order. Pearce almost inadvertently gets elbowed by Roman, and officials have to stop Punk from hitting the GTS before separating both men. Roman then hits Petey Williams with a Spear, and Punk hits Roman with the GTS. Punk then looks at the announce table, now uncovered, then feigns walking away before attacking Roman again and powerbombing Roman through the table. Punk then goes for the ground and pound, and Adam Pearce has to pull a crazed Punk off of Roman before Punk celebrates on the top of the barricade.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 23, 2026

Je'Von Evans is seen backstage with Internet livestream personality iShowSpeed before the beginning of the show.

Brock Lesnar and "The Oracle" Paul Heyman head to the ring to start tonight's show. Heyman introduces Lesnar, then the "Oba" chants begin. Heyman warns the crowd that they are pissing Lesnar off after Lesnar laid waste to twenty men only to be distracted by Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, causing "a overhyped wannabe ruler" to powerbomb Lesnar. Heyman asks how many times the same narrative has come out of the WWE hype machine regarding big men who will become "the slayer of The Beast" and Brock Lesnar's conquerer since Lesnar broke The Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak. He says that The Undertaker never got revenge on Lesnar, then lists off those who were declared the one to beat Lesnar only to fall and declares that Oba Femi will be just like the rest, saying that Oba has peaked and that Oba will be beaten at WrestleMania. The lights go out, and Oba Femi makes his way to the ring. Oba and Lesnar have a staredown from the opposite ends to the ring to the center, and Lesnar kicks Oba in the gut and goes for an F5 only for Oba to slip out and clothesline him out of the ring.Lesnar is furious, and Heyman is surprised. Heyman holds Lesnar back as the two of them slowly heads towards the back. Lesnar tells Oba Femi that he is not that lucky.

We hear from "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, who says that his match with Penta tonight should not be happening, and if it were not for Finn Balor, he would still be Intercontinental Champion. He says that Finn got what he deserved, and warns Penta that this rematch will not go the same way as last time, for now he can focus and become the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, because he is the King of the Luchadors.

The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) beat The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) by disqualification after LA Knight shows up from out of the crowd to attack Logan Paul on the outside, allowing Jey Uso to get his hands on Logan's brass knuckles, which allows - and causes - Jey to punch Theory out in full view of the referee with a foreign object. After the match, Jey gets back in the ring and knocks Logan out with his right hand still in the brass knuckles.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring. Becky says she took ten months off because the fans got sick and tired of seeing her succeed and win world titles, and that she went home to her family who loves and appreciates her. She then says that she made a point when she came back by winning the Women's Intercontinental Championship and making it the most interesting and important title in all of wrestling, and says she is proud of the title and what she made it represent. Becky then says she has to watch AJ Lee prance around like she deserved the title, and when she returned to her sanctuary to take a break with the people she loved, her daughter was singing AJ Lee's theme and skipping around the house just like AJ. Becky states that even her daughter does not recognize that her mother is the greatest wrestler of all time, and states that AJ Lee's greatest claim to fame before that was defining the Divas era that she murdered just like she will do to AJ. AJ Lee shows up, and Becky retreats through the crowd as AJ approaches the ring. AJ wants to know what Becky will not fight her head on, and states that every time they have squared off, she has walked Becky like a dog. She then says that embarrassing Becky one more time and tapping her out at WrestleMania will be what it takes to get Becky away from her title and out of her life once and for all, and makes that match official with the Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line. Becky states that AJ Lee has skipped right into her trap and has no idea what she is in for, and while AJ Lee can shine from Monday to Friday, WrestleMania is her domain. She also mentions AJ Lee leaving WWE after her last WrestleMania, and says that when she takes her title back, she will do AJ the favor and the world will never hear from AJ again.

Backstage, The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) thank LA Knight for the assistance during their match, and LA Knight starts thinking that Jey is sounding like Roman Reigns. Jey takes exception to this, and Jimmy says that CM Punk is about to learn to keep their family's name out of his mouth.

Boston Celtics shooting guard Derrick White and Celtics Head Coach Joe Mazzulla are seen in the crowd.

Je'Von Evans beats Grayson Waller.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by "The Oracle" Paul Heyman, who wants Pearce to schedule a street fight between The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) and The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) for the World Tag Team Championships next week in Madison Square Garden. Pearce makes it official, then tells Heyman to head to the ring to use his time to address Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. Heyman acquiesces.

"The Oracle" Paul Heyman is in the ring. Heyman says he is having a really bad night, not just because of being relegated to a contractual appearance in Boston, Massachusetts after a 40-year career, but because there is no one left for him to hide behind. He says that Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed will not be coming back any time soon, Brock Lesnar is so pissed off that he left the building, and Logan Paul and Austin Theory are half-conscious while he is dealing with a stalker. He says that stalker is Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and that the both of them are men who have been pushed too far, which means that WWE is not big enough for the both of them. Heyman says this is not a challenge for a WrestleMania match or a challenge for tonight, and he asks what other choice he is left with than for Rollins to put him out of his misery right here, right now. A man in a black hoodie and mask heads towards the ring from out of the crowd, and Heyman says that man has to do what a man has to do as he looks towards the entrance ramp while the man in black is on the announce table. The man in black unmasks himself to reveal himself to be Rollins, and four policemen tell Rollins to get down from the announce table. Rollins gets down from the table and is led out of the building while Heyman tells Rollins he has violated a restraining order and is going to jail and prison while his life falls apart. Rollins then runs away from the cops and punches Heyman out in the ring, and the cops have to force Rollins to the corner and handcuff him. General Manager Adam Pearce is on hand to ensure that Rollins is removed from the building.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria beat The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). After the match, Jackie Redmond interviews Bayley and Lyra in the ring. Bayley says they feel pretty good on their way to WrestleMania, and Lyra says that The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) have their names in their mouths because they know they can beat them. Bayley challenges The Irresistible Forces to a match next week so they can prove how big and bad they are.

We see NXT Origins featuring Tiffany Stratton.

Backstage, Penta is met by iShowSpeed, and Penta teaches him the strut that he usually does on his way to the ring. Dragon Lee shows up, and Penta introduces iShowSpeed to him. iShowSpeed leaves, then Dragon Lee wishes Penta luck in tonight's match while Penta looks forward to having a rematch with him.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with iShowSpeed when Danhausen shows up. Danhausen proposes that they stream together, and when iShowSpeed refuses, Danhausen curses him and disappears. iShowSpeed has no idea what to make of this as Pearce leaves.

Backstage, Asuka blames Kairi Sane for their loss tonight, and demands Kairi make it up to her. Asuka leaves, then Iyo Sky shows up and admits that while they have had their ups and downs, Kairi deserves better. Asuka then yells for Kairi, who is tormented as she leaves. Raquel Rodriguez shows up, irritated that Iyo Sky cost her the opportunity to beat Stephanie Vaquer. Iyo says she would do it again if given the chance, and Raquel challenges her to a match next week so she can finish what she started. Iyo accepts the challenge.

Before the next match, Liv Morgan is attacked from behind by Stephanie Vaquer, who also punches "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio in the face. Referees show up as the brawl makes its way to gorilla position, and both women have to be separated.

Penta retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio after countering a top rope frog splash with an inside cradle after Finn Balor shows up and beats up JD McDonagh. After the match, Finn Balor beats up Dominik Mysterio, and when JD McDonagh saves Dominik from the Coup de Grace, Finn takes them both out with a tope suicida. Finn goes back to attacking Dominik, and McDonagh saves Dominik once again. Dominik flees through the crowd as JD McDonagh ends up eating a Coup de Grace instead.

Backstage, CM Punk runs into Jimmy Uso. Jimmy says he is not telling him what to do before warning him to be careful, as his brother is on the warpath. CM Punk then heads to the ring. Punk mentions Jimmy Uso's warning, then says that Roman Reigns cannot do anything without his cousins and that the family cannot do anything without back-up, including being World Heavyweight Champion. He mentions Roman's threat that his whole family can come after him if they so choose, but none of them have looked at him cross. Punk says that people say and do awful things to each other to sell the big title fight, but these are just words, and he is tired of talking. Punk then mentions Roman calling him "old," then says that his "young boy" does not get to disrespect him and call him old. He then says that he is old, but he is also proud of where he is in life and being "middle aged and crazy" like Terry Funk. Punk compares himself to other middle-aged sports legend, then says that he is "Mr. Game 7" and proclaims that age is nothing but a number. He says he is old, but not insecure, and if Roman only sees an old man, he has already understimated him and lost. He warns Roman Reigns that he will tie him into knots and that Roman will be beaten by "the old man" at WrestleMania, then mentions that both "Main Event" Jey Uso and Gunther did not underestimate him and they still lost. Jey Uso shows up, tells Punk that he is old, hit in the head too many times and still running his mouth, especially about him. He says they can do it right now, and Punk mentions that Jey never got his rematch and that he can do this right now. All of a sudden, Jimmy Uso shows up and asks Jey what he is doing, saying that he understands how he feels, yet when he is angry, he sees red, and now their tag team titles are on the line. He tells Jey to leave Punk to Roman, as they have nothing to do with him. Jey says Punk has everything to do with him, then asks where Roman is, stating he is not even in the building. All of a sudden, Roman Reigns shows up, and he and CM Punk have a staredown. Roman says that last time he checked, The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) already had a tag match, and since it is done, he respectfully tells Jimmy to get Jey and leave the ring. Punk says The Usos can stay, as Roman can use the help. This leads to Punk getting ganged up on and Superman Punched, and General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with referees to get The Usos and Roman Reigns out of the ring. Jey tells Roman to "smash 'em all" and get Punk, and Roman finally snaps and hits Punk with a Spear. Roman continues to attack Punk, then powerbombs him through the announce table. Roman grabs Punk and asks him what he is going to do now before leaving.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 16, 2026

"The Oracle" Paul Heyman shows up with The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) and interrupts The Usos' (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) entrance at the start of tonight's show. Paul Heyman shows up with The Vision and interrupts The Usos' entrance at the start of tonight's show. Logan Paul has to take the mic, and says that he has a vision to host Raw in the most beautiful city in the United States, which is not Memphis, Tennessee. He then says that The Vision is here, regardless. Heyman has the footage from last week of the attack from the man in the black hoodie replayed, and Austin Theory says that last week's main event was his match to win. General Manager Adam Pearce and says playtime is over, and Theory gets incensed by Pearce's interruption and says Pearce screwed him. Pearce has none of it and tells The Vision to come back to his office and converse like gentlemen. Heyman says he wants Bronson Reed in the Elimination Chamber in exchange for Pearce getting his show back. Pearce says Bronson will have to earn his way in, and that he will be in a qualifier next week. As Pearce demands The Vision leave the ring, LA Knight shows up. LA Knight says the chickens have come home to roost and that Theory screwed himself, then says Bronson Reed is the next and hopes he can kick his ass. Logan Paul reminds Knight of the car Bronson Reed put him through, and then proposes that he not only kicks The Vision's asses, but he also teams up with The Usos to do it, even though they do not have the best history. General Manager Adam Pearce makes the match official.

The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) beat LA Knight and The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) in a six-man tag match. After the match, Logan Paul runs his mouth on a commentary headset only to receive The Stomp from the man in the black hoodie, who soon flees through the crowd.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce (who is accompanied by a worker played by "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox) notices a crate that says "Do not open until 02/28/26." Adam Pearce tells Eli (who actually says that his name is Eli in this segment) to send the crate to SmackDown. Los Americanos (El Grande Americano II, Rayo Americano, Bravo Americano) show up, and El Grande Americano II is not happy that El Grande Americano I has qualified for the Elimination Chamber, and since he cannot qualify himself, he wants a match for the Intercontinental Championship. Pearce gives El Grande Americano II the opportunity to earn a shot tonight.

We hear from Bayley, Asuka and Nattie before their Elimination Chamber qualifier.

Asuka beats Bayley and Nattie by submission with an Asuka Lock to Bayley in a women's Elimination Chamber qualifier. After the match, Maxxine Dupri attacks Nattie on the stage, and referees have to break it up.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce asks Oba Femi to look through a Raw contract, then tells him that "Raw needs a flagship." Oba says he needs time to decide, but Pearce tells him to take all the time he needs. On his way out, Oba Femi runs into Rusev, and both men have a staredown before Oba Femi leaves.

We see Michael Cole's interviews with Liv Morgan. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio joins in as Liv Morgan announces she will not rush her WrestleMania main event decision and that she will take longer to decide, and that she will not let this moment pass her by. Stephanie Vaquer shows up and confronts Liv Morgan. Vaquer speaks Spanish the entire that she confronts Liv Morgan, and Dominik has to translate for Liv as Vaquer makes it clear she wants a piece of Liv at WrestleMania. Liv breaks down in tears after Vaquer leaves, and Liv and Dominik leave the room. (Vaquer's speech to Liv is translated, as follows: "Did you say ten years of hard work? What are you talking about? You’ve sacrificed nothing. WWE gave you everything. The best training, the best medical, you were given everything. You want to talk about sacrifice? I was born in Chile, where wrestling doesn’t exist. And now I’ve traveled all over the world. Japan, Mexico, Latin America, Europe. And I’ve conquered everything. You should be ashamed because you need to hide behind The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Liv, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez). It’s sad because you need to hide behind a man. But let me tell you something. I went through hell and made it mine. Everything I did was to get to WWE and become champion. This title to me means more than just a title. It’s for all the little girls, all the women who never got the opportunity and overcome anyway. Liv, if you pick me, you won’t win. Because I’m going to show you what a real champion is." Vaquer apologizes the next day for her promo for the "I was born in Chile, where wrestling doesn't exist" line, stating that professional wrestling was not developed at the time that she got started, and states that it was a mistake in wording during the broadcast.)

CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says that General Manager Adam Pearce thinks he is jeopardizing the main event of WrestleMania, but Punk feels he is making things better and says that the fans deserve a fighting champion. He also states that Finn Balor deserves another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship because he deserves it as much as he deserves the ass beating he is about to give him for ruining the last time he got to share the ring with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Punk admits that while the office is pissed off at him, he does and says things that piss people off, saying he would not be who and what he is if he did not do that. Suddenly, Finn Balor shows up and heads to the ring. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is not far behind, and neither is a returning JD McDonagh. Punk is about to use the microphone as a weapon as the three of them circle the ring. Finn Balor says they are not out here to fight, and that he wants to make one thing crystal clear. He says that to be the best in the world, you must train with the best catch wrestlers in Europe, learn from the best luchadors in Mexico, survive the toughest dojos in Japan, and show up your first night on Raw and beat Roman Reigns. Finn Balor says he is the best in the world, and when he wins the World Heavyweight Championship, he will not be jeopardizing the main event of WrestleMania; instead, he will be making it better. Punk wants to know why McDonagh and Dominik are here, then says he knew who Finn Balor was and that Finn Balor did all he just bragged about by himself, and says that Finn Balor used to mean something. He says that The Judgment Day ("Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) has been an anchor around his neck for some time and has only dragged him down to their level, as Dominik wears two titles he never defends and McDonagh needs help getting in the ring because his head is so big. This leads to a "bobblehead" chant, and admits that he is a smart man who does dumb things. Punk turns his back and dares the three of them to jump him from behind, saying that if Finn attacks, he will jeopardize his shot at being champion. He also says that while he does not need to prove he is the best in the world, maybe Finn Balor does. CM Punk leaves the ring and tosses his microphone towards Finn Balor, who has to hold JD McDonagh back.

Backstage, Byron Saxon interviews Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Rhea says the road to WrestleMania is always a battle and last Friday was no exception. She says that Nia Jax and Lash Legend got carried away and failed to take their titles, and now they have to take them out. As Iyo Sky speaks, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up, and Kairi Sane says that Asuka is in the Elimination Chamber and that they will make sure Rhea and Iyo never win and that Asuka is champion. Asuka tells Rhea that she is not ready for the Elimination Chamber.

El Grande Americano II's opponent is revealed to be Penta.

Penta beats El Grande Americano II in a WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 contender's match. During the match, Rayo Americano distracts the referee so that Bravo Americano can hand El Grande Americano II the steel plate for his mask, but Bravo gets dragged underneath the ring. Rayo goes to save Bravo, but ends up pulling El Grande Americano I out of the ring. After the match, El Grande Americano I beats El Grande Americano II up and hits him with the Chaos Theory, then goes for an unmasking as El Grande Americano II tries to roll out of the ring. Rayo and Bravo save El Grande Americano II.

Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez walks off with Liv Morgan, then JD McDonagh tells Finn Balor that he is walking into CM Punk's hands. Finn says he has to prove to himself that he can do this, and McDonagh says he is trying to help him. Finn tells McDonagh that if he wants to help, then he needs to let him beat Punk alone. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is caught in the middle.

AJ Lee heads to the ring. She talks about how she walked in last week for moral support and walked out #1 contender for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. AJ says she had fun getting under Becky Lynch's skin, but was reminded this was serious business after being sent into a ring post. She says she has not had a singles match, let alone a shot at a title, in more than a decade, and that things have changed since the last time she was a champion, there was just one title. AJ says she loved the Divas Championship because she made that championship. She admits that she is not modest and that she knows who she is, and that the women's division that happened after she left was her gift to them. AJ says she wants to face the best of the best, but for now, all roads lead back to Becky. She says that Becky is mad at her for so many reasons, then says it is not her fault because she gave Becky a ten-year head start and Becky has failed to catch up. AJ then says that without Becky, she would not have had a reason to come back and prove that she can still be a champion, and states that if she walks out of Elimination Chamber victorious, then she is walking into WrestleMania as champion. She then calls out Becky Lynch if Becky is in the mood for a fight. Becky Lynch shows up and says this is just an opportunity for AJ to gather family and friends together for a retirement match she never had and never deserved. She says that AJ Lee's real gift was leaving, and that she has been making history while AJ Lee has been making comic books. Becky tells AJ Lee that if she can make it through Elimination Chamber, she can dictate on her computer about her match with her and maybe her comic book can actually sell. AJ Lee dares Becky Lynch to get into the ring so they can throw hands right now, but Becky says she is not stupid and knows that AJ Lee will sucker punch her, but AJ Lee lets Becky take the first shot. Becky gets in the ring and AJ Lee dares Becky to swing at her with her hands behind her back, but Becky says she knows the game that AJ Lee is playing. Becky refuses and leaves the ring, sayings he does not fight in Memphis, Tennessee.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is talking with a security guard (played by Gio Savage) when he sees The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) at his office doors. Paul Heyman has to hold Austin Theory back, then tells Theory and Logan Paul to head to the jet before demanding something be done about the masked man in the black hoodie. Pearce says the masked man is as much of a problem for him as it is for Heyman, then Bronson Reed says he solves problems and that he will take care of the masked man and win in the Elimination Chamber.

Next week: a tribute to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles!

We hear from Gunther, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Je'Von Evans before their Elimination Chamber qualifier.

Je'Von Evans beats "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Gunther in a men's Elimination Chamber qualifier. During the match, Gunther confronts "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio on the outside for having the ring bell hammer as a potential weapon only to be smacked with the ring bell from the top of the barricade by Dragon Lee. Dominik hits the 619 on Je'Von Evans back in the ring only to miss the top rope frog splash, and Je'Von hits Dominik with the OG Cutter to win the match and qualify.

Becky Lynch finds out that AJ Lee is in the building backstage.

It is announced that Bron Breakker has been injured while training and has successfully undergone surgery, and that Bron Breakker will be out indefinitely.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Becky is absolutely furious as she states there is only so much disrespect that she can take, and that she came out here to announces that the corruption would be overthrown at Royal Rumble, but she has found out that AJ Lee is here tonight. AJ Lee shows up, much to Becky's annoyance, and says she is here to support Maxxine Dupri and hang out in catering, but Becky calls AJ Lee a little chihuahua who keeps barking and ruining her life. AJ Lee remembers the two times she beat Becky Lynch and cost her her title against Maxxine Dupri, but Becky is about to snap as she wonders what it will take to get rid of AJ Lee before challenging her to a match at Elimination Chamber. AJ Lee thinks that Becky is either having a nervous breakdown or actually wants to go one-on-one with her, then finds it flattering and mentions she has not been in a singles match in over a decade. AJ Lee then wonders if that will make her lucky or better if she beats Becky, then realizes that would make her #1 contender for the Women's Intercontinental Championship, which causes Becky to repeatedly say "No!" AJ Lee then says she will go back to Chicago, Illinois, stating "No title, no match." Becky relents, then says that if AJ thought she was held down by the man before she left, then she has no idea what she is in for.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) retain the World Tag Team Championships against Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa). After the match, Byron Saxton interviews The Usos. Jey says Alpha Academy held it down tonight, and Jimmy says they will remain the best tag team in the game on the road to WrestleMania. He then wants Jey to qualify for and win the Elimination Chamber match, then go back to being the main event.

Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio head to the ring. Dominik gives Liv some flowers and Valentine's Day candies, and Liv tells Dominik that she will give him his gift later before declaring herself the greatest Women's Champion and Royal Rumble winner of all time. She says that she put Jade Cargill and Stephanie Vaquer on notice and claims that they are scared of her, because they know that whoever she picks will lose their title at WrestleMania. Dominik is about to speak when Vaquer shows up and heads to the ring, then tells Liv that she talks too much before addressing her in Spanish. Dominik refuses to repeat what Vaquer said to Liv before responding. Vaquer says that Dominik said he is a little bitch, then Liv says Vaquer is not capable of filling her "Hot girls love Dominik Mysterio" shirt. Vaquer says that she hopes Liv picks her so she can kick her ass, but Liv says she is going to take her time before calling her a "puta." An angry Vaquer responds by slapping Dominik.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, Ivy Nile and Lyra Valkyria before their Elimination Chamber qualifier match happening tonight.

Rhea Ripley beats Lyra Valkyria and Ivy Nile in a women's Elimination Chamber qualifier after Lyra hits Ivy Nile with Nightwing only for Rhea to save the match with a running knee and hit Riptide on Lyra.

Backstage, Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio meet with Raquel Rodriguez when they all notice Finn Balor. Dominik tells Finn that things will be better soon with JD McDonagh returning, but Finn says he is not done with CM Punk and the World Heavyweight Championship, and that he is tired of being an afterthought.

Michael Cole is about to interview CM Punk in the ring when Finn Balor shows up, takes the microphone and says that everyone has forgotten about what he did to CM Punk two weeks. He says that Punk is hurt because he hurt him, and that he will not let Roman Reigns take advantage of his kill, much like how Roman Reigns took advantage of the top rope when he had him beat. Finn says he is tired of being an afterthought and being pushed around, and he wants Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber, saying that Punk beat him on his own turf and that he will beat Punk on his. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with security and tells Finn Balor that he is too late and that the World Heavyweight Championship is already spoken for, and tells him to leave or else he will send security after him. CM Punk shows up and chases Finn out of the ring after Pearce tries to reason with him. Punk says that Finn is the first thought and that he deserves an ass beating instead of a title shot, then dares him to get in the ring. Finn tells Punk to put his title on the line so he can finish what he started two weeks ago, and Punk says they can do this right now or at Elimination Chamber. Pearce refuses, but Punk tells him to give him what he wants or else he will chase Finn and knock his teeth down his throat. Pearce refuses, but Punk tells him to give him what he wants or else he will chase Finn and knock his teeth down his throat. Pearce relents and makes the match official for the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. Finn is escorted away through the crowd, then Punk lets Michael Cole go with the interview. Michael Cole asks Punk why he would jeopardize the main event of WrestleMania like he just did, but Punk says he is building and chasing greatness by being a fighting champion. He says that chasing greatness comes with the responsibility of proving that he is the best in the world, and that he is brave enough to know that without risk, there is no reward, and he is brave enough to put it all on the line for the fans every Monday night. Punk knows it could happen any night at any city, but he does his best to make sure it does not happen. He then says he does not believe Roman Reigns when Roman says he hates him, and that he really hates being unable to stop what Punk is building. Punk then proclaims that WrestleMania will end with him still holding the World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory). Paul Heyman considers Pearce an adversary more worthy than he anticipated, then puts what happened to Bron Breakker at Royal Rumble on Pearce. Pearce says that Bron Breakker is one of the keys to the future and that nobody wants Breakker back faster than him, then mentions Austin Theory's qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber and tells the rest of The Vision not to get involved in it. Heyman asks if this is a threat or a declarative statement. Pearce says this is a threat, and as The Vision leave, Logan Paul boldly asks Pearce what he will do if they get involved. He then states that this is a rhetorical question, and "Big" Bronson Reed has to hold Logan back. Bronson tells Logan that Pearce is his problem now, not Logan's.

Nattie vs. Maxxine Dupri ends in a no-contest after Nattie gives Maxxine so much of a beatdown that Maxxine can barely protect herself. After the match, Nattie puts Maxxine Dupri in a Sharpshooter on the announce table before AJ Lee shows up and chases Nattie away. As AJ Lee and officials help Maxxine to the back, AJ Lee is suddenly attacked from behind by Becky Lynch.

We hear from LA Knight, who looks forward to beating Penta and Austin Theory to qualify for the men's Elimination Chamber match.

Je'Von Evans tag team partner is revealed to be El Grande Americano I.

Je'Von Evans and El Grande Americano I beat Los Americanos (Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano) despite El Grande Americano II shoving El Grande Americano I off the top rope, which only leads to Bravo Americano going for a splash only to fly right into an OG Cutter by Je'Von Evans. After the match, El Grande Americano II attacks Je'Von Evans from behind before attacking El Grande Americano I and trying to unmask him. El Grande Americano I knocks El Grande Americano II and goes for his mask, but Rayo Americano saves El Grande Americano II by pulling him out of the ring.

We hear from LA Knight, Penta and Austin Theory before their Elimination Chamber qualifier.

We see a vignette for Oba Femi. Oba Femi says that people fear change and that change is inevitable. He says that those who do not adapt will perish, then says that the change that was coming is now here and that it has sent Oba Femi.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews a guffawing Gunther, who says he could not care less about Dragon Lee and is focused on WrestleMania. He says his road should have started when he retired Goldberg, but instead, it starts next week. He says the result will be the same and that he will walk out of WrestleMania as a world champion.

LA Knight beats Austin Theory and Penta in a men's Elimination Chamber qualifier. During the match, Logan Paul and "Big" Bronson Reed show up and attack LA Knight, with Bronson hitting Knight with a Tsunami as Logan Paul distracts the referee. As General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with security and forces Bronson and Logan to the back, Theory hits The Stomp on Knight, then goes for the pinfall only to be pulled out of the ring by Penta. Penta fends off Theory on the outside only to get launched into the announce table back first, then a man clad in all black superkicks Theory before hitting Theory with The Stomp, tossing Theory back into the ring and fleeing through the crowd while Logan Paul gives chase. Theory gets up, but so does Knight, and Knight hits Theory with the BFT for the win and to qualify for the men's Elimination Chamber match.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 29, 2025

The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) makes their way to the ring to start tonight's show. Paul Heyman gets furious with the "CM Punk" chants and states that The Vision will main event WrestleMania five years from now, then announces Austin Theory as their newest member. Theory says he has worked his entire career for this moment, and declares Bron Breakker the next World Heavyweight Champion. Heyman then proclaims that the needs of The Vision preclude those of everyone else before CM Punk shows up. Punk calls out Bron Breakker, then says he could get in the ring, say a few things and then get destroyed. He then says he likes to look a man in the eyes before he puts him to sleep, and tells The Vision to make it just him and Breakker in the ring so he clear the air. Breakker agrees to these terms, and Punk and Breakker have a staredown in the middle of the ring. Breakker states that The Vision is looking towards the future, and that he will become the next World Heavyweight Champion. He says that he is tired of everyone calling him the future and saying that he will "figure it out" and main event everything, then says that he is the present. Breakker then accuses Punk of seeing him as "the new guy in town" and dares him to find someone like him in the locker room. Breakker says that everything he has had done has been under a microscope and that he has been held to a higher standard, and that on January 5th, he is willing to die for the World title as much as Punk, and that he will put Punk in the ground. Punk tells Breakker that he has made a mistake of assuming what he thinks of him, then says Breakker that while Breakker is more ready than anyone else in The Vision, the World title is a privilege to carry and he is not ready to let it go. Punk says he is not ready to stop being champion, and while Breakker has what it takes, he is not CM Punk. He says that someday, someone will beat him for the World title, but it will not be Breakker.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel says there will be no tricks tonight and that nobody is getting in the way of what is hers. Liv Morgan suddenly shows up and tells her to take care of business tonight. Raquel says that she will take care of business and do it alone, even as Roxanne Perez shows up after she is mentioned, and that she does not need luck.

Stephanie Vaquer retain the Women's World Championship against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez after Raquel hits Nikki with a Tejana Bomb only for Vaquer to send Raquel tumbling out of the ring to pick the bones and get the win.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Gunther when R-Truth confronts him from his recent disrespect. Gunther simply laughs in R-Truth's face and takes this as a challenge.

Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles is seen in the front row.

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) head to the ring. Asuka talks about how she recently beat Rhea Ripley, then says the fans are "stupid babies" for thinking Rhea can take her on, then Kairi Sane says Iyo should never have attacked her before Asuka demands her microphone. Asuka then says that Rhea and Iyo paid for their disrespect last week, then Rhea and Iyo show up and chase The Kabuki Warriors out of the ring for a brawl on the outside. Kairi shoves Iyo into the announce table only to eat a right hand from Rhea, then Asuka attacks Rhea from behind before tossing Iyo into the timekeeper's area so that she and Kairi can gang up on Rhea. Iyo stops a double-team In-Sane Elbow just in time, and she and Rhea soon send The Kabuki Warriors packing.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio is met by CM Punk. Rey says he is good for tonight, but reminds Punk that "The Oracle" Paul Heyman is not the only person in the favor business regarding Punk's title defense next week.

Gunther beats R-Truth by submission with a sleeper hold.

Backstage, Jey Uso is met by Jimmy Uso. Jey admits that things have not been going his way and that he does not want to put Jimmy in as bad as a spot as he is in right now, but Jimmy knows that Jey can get the job done.

Backstage, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are met by Je'Von Evans. Styles says that he and Dragon Lee are open to a rematch before Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Rayo American, Bravo Americano) show up. Styles and Dragon Lee back Je'Von up, and Los Americanos soon leave.

Backstage, Austin Theory is welcomed to The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory), and Logan Paul tells Theory that they have his back. Heyman has Logan accompany Theory to the ring for his match.

We hear from Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Rhea says Asuka is delusional after everything she has done and keeps doing to them, then says that Asuka is the one who has been disrespectful. She says that last week was the first and last time Asuka will beat her, because she will destroy her next week. Iyo tells Kairi that she is lost and that it is too late, for she has chosen the wrong path. She says Asuka was her senpai, but the student has become the master, and next week, they will teach The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) a lesson in respect and become Women's Tag Team Champions.

Maxxine Dupri heads to the ring. Maxxine says that she would not be standing in the ring as a champion if it were not for the fans and brags about how she made Becky Lynch tap to an ankle lock before Becky Lynch shows up. Becky says the only thing she tapped to was living in Orlando, Florida, and if the fans get rich enough, they can move out, too. Maxxine tells Becky to make her next move wisely or else she will break her. Becky admits, very reluctantly, that Maxxine has gotten better while still accusing her of stealing a title, but Maxxine says that she only stole the spotlight. Becky gets furious and says she came out here to be nice before making a huge deal about how great she is. Becky also says she has overcome every corruption and injustice thrown her way and that she always finds a way to win, then wants to know if Maxxine is everything she says she is or everything Becky knows Maxxine is before welcoming her to the big time.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with Trick Williams, then Lyra Valkyria and a frustrated Bayley show up wanting a piece of the Women's Tag Team Championship title picture to the point that Bayley calls Pearce a bald idiot. Pearce reminds them that Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez also have a shot at the titles, much to Bayley's chagrin, and Lyra has to defuse the situation.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to become the World Tag Team Champions! The reign is The Usos' ninth overall. After the match, The Usos celebrate in the crowd.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 15, 2025

Gunther heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Along the way, he stands on the announce table in triumph. The crowd chants "You suck!" and "You tapped out!" before Gunther says he did what he said he would do and made John Cena give up, and when he gave up, he tapped out like a little bitch. He then leaves the ring only to re-enter it. Gunther then stands on the second rope in celebration before the fans chant "You suck!" again, then Gunther leaves and turns back around a second time. This time, he celebrates again on the announce table and declares that he made John Cena tap out like a little bitch, and for that, he will be known as the man that made John Cena give up. Gunther then heads to the back for real this time, then the camera follows him. Akira Tozawa and Otis confront him for being happy about what he has done, as does R-Truth, who calls him a piece of trash. General Manager Adam Pearce asks Gunther if he is proud of what he has done, and says that his actions make him an asshole, not "The Ring General." Pearce then tells him to leave after Gunther asks him if he is done, and Gunther promptly leaves. Gunther asks "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles if there is anything he wants to tell him on his way out, then mockingly tells Styles that he cannot see him after he gets in his car.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods).

We hear from The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Asuka is still angry that Iyo Sky would not address her as senpai, and Kairi Sane says that they both loved Iyo. Asuka says that Iyo sided with Rhea even after Rhea disrespected her, and declares that on January 5th, they will put an end to Rhea and Iyo and win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Logan Paul and Bronson Reed talk about what they did to LA Knight last week, then Bron Breakker tells them that CM Punk is here and that they should destroy him. When Logan Paul says that the masked man will show up, Paul Heyman shows up and says that if the masked man is aligned with The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul), he will take the help. Bron Breakker wants to take out CM Punk, but Heyman reminds Breakker to wait until January 5th to take him out so he can become World Heavyweight Champion.Logan reminds Breakker that he has Rey Mysterio tonight after Heyman leaves, and that he would appreciate the help.

It is announced that LA Knight is injured and will be out indefinitely with a score of injuries, including a cracked sternum.

Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley head to the ring. As they head over to the ring, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) suddenly attack them from the front row, with Asuka spitting blue mist into Rhea's face. Referees try to restore order, but as Asuka holds Rhea down for an In-Sane Elbow, Iyo covers Rhea and takes the In-Sane Elbow to the small of the back, protecting Rhea. Medical staff check on a still-blinded Rhea.

We see a video package for Oba Femi.

We see a video package for Oba Femi, Sol Ruca, Joe Hendry, Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater at Saturday Night's Main Event. Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is meeting with Je'Von when Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano, Bravo Americano) show up. Je'Von knows enough Spanish to know that El Grande Americano is talking down on NXT. This leads to Je'Von Evans having a match with Rayo Americano next week.

CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says that he was forced to miss the last two weeks because he could not get medically cleared and that he had to listen to Bron Breakker talk. He calls Breaker "a cross-eyed Neanderthal nepo baby" and says that brains do not run in Breakker's family. He also mentions Breakker mentioning that it was too easy to beat him, then says that Breakker cannot beat him without help from his friends. He says that Breakker may have pinned him for a World title shot, but he did not do it on his own. CM Punk says he has been there before and that Heyman has taken plenty of people with a little bit of talent and gassed them up. He also tells Breakker that if he mentions AJ Lee again, it will go from business to personal. Punk says he would tell Breakker to come to their World Heavyweight Championship match alone, but he will not, not because he does not have the guts, but because he does not have the heart. He tells Breakker to bring all the help he can, including his father and uncle, as he has no chance of beating him for the World Heavyweight Championship.Punk says that when Breakker finds out that Heyman has left him for the next big thing and that his masked mystery man never showed up, all he will have left is his father and uncle, and that even in Steiner Math, "GTS = 1, 2, 3."

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio hopes that Logan Paul puts an end to his deadbeat bad, then mentions that Finn Balor is with JD McDonagh and that McDonagh will be on the shelf for a while. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the Women's World Championship ends with Nikki Bella showing up from out of the crowd to attack both women. After the match, Nikki Bella hits Vaquer with the Rack Attack 2.0 in the middle of the ring.

Backstage, Paul Heyman insists to General Manager Adam Pearce that he has no idea who the masked man helping The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul) is, and Pearce wants to know by the end of the night as Heyman leaves. Rhea Ripley then shows up wanting a match with Asuka, and Pearce gives it to her for next week.

Backstage, CM Punk tells Rey Mysterio that he has his back against Logan Paul.

Jackie Redmond interviews AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Styles says that they are ready to defend the World Tag Team Championships, and Dragon Lee says that they will bring the fire against any team at any time. After they leave, Nikki Bella shows up and says she is not apologizing for putting people beneath her in their place, then says that the locker room does not appreciate the road that she paved and that Raquel Rodriguez and Stephanie Vaquer should be polishing her boots.

Backstage, Bayley congratulates Maxxine Dupri on retaining the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship, then Lyra Valkyria meets with Bayley. Bayley says her loss to Sol Ruca has gotten her thinking about what Asuka said. Lyra says that this is not the Bayley she grew up watching and that this Bayley would lose to Roxanne Perez, but Bayley says that she will not be losing to Roxanne next week. Lyra is smiling as Bayley walks away.

Logan Paul beats Rey Mysterio. During the match, Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed head to the ring, but CM Punk is close behind them, and he hits them both with a metal folding chair and sends them running back to the back. "The Oracle" Paul Heyman hands the brass knuckles to Logan, but Rey trips Logan into the ropes and hits the 619, knocking the brass knuckles out of Logan's hand in the process. As Rey goes for the brass knuckles, he is suddenly curbed stomped by the masked man clad in black. Logan Paul then hits Rey with a splash from the top rope to win. After the match, the masked man gets on the apron, and he and Logan Paul look at each other before the masked man flees through the crowd, unmasks, and reveals himself to be Austin Theory. CM Punk turns around and is hit by a Spear from Bron Breakker. Breakker tells Punk that if he mentions his family again, he will never stand on two feet ever again. Breakker then holds up the World Heavyweight Championship to end the show.
