Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up with an army of masked hooded men in black to start tonight's show. Rollins says that he created The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) and will be the one to kill The Vision, regardless of whether any member is on the shelf of hanging on, saying that anyone standing next to Paul Heyman is marked for death. Rollins says he had the satisfaction of hitting Heyman with a metal folding chair and a curb stomp. All of a sudden, Heyman - now with bruises on his face - shows up. Rollins dares Heyman to come to the ring, hoping that it was all worth it for Heyman and stating that allows him in his inner circle was the greatest mistake he ever made. He hopes to make Heyman pay for his betrayal for the rest of his days. Heyman says he did not want to come out here, then tells Rollins "FAFO" before saying "FAF5." Brock Lesnar shows up, and the masked men in hoodies surround Rollins in the ring. Lesnar removes his hat and leather vest before tearing through the masked men and scaring a few off. He soon overpowers all of them before coming face-to-face with Rollins. The lights go out, and when they come back on, Oba Femi shows up. Rollins stands in the corner as Oba Femi confronts Brock Lesnar in the middle of the ring, but when he tries to stand between them, Lesnar scares him off. Oba then hits Lesnar with the Fall from Grace and places a foot on top of Lesnar's chest before pointing at the WrestleMania sign, accepting Heyman and Lesnar's open challenge for WrestleMania in the process.
El Grande Americano II beats El Grande Americano I after Bravo Americano loads El Grande Americano II's mask as El Grande Americano I attacks Rayo Americano for getting involved in the match before going to the top rope for a headbutt only to hit his head on El Grande Americano II's loaded mask.
Roman Reigns arrives at the arena and meets up with The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso). Roman commends them for beating CM Punk up last week for running his mouth about his family before declaring that Punk belongs to him at WrestleMania.
We hear from Liv Morgan, who tells Finn Balor that getting rid of him has been part of her plan since she joined The Judgment Day and that Finn was on borrowed time. She says she knows Finn Balor and that is has been a pleasure watching him fall from grace. She says that Finn could not hang with The Judgment Day (JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez) and that they took a play from his playbook to get rid of him, then declares that JD McDonagh is free from Finn Balor's control, that Dominik Mysterio will take back the Intercontinental Championship, that Raquel will take down Stephanie Vaquer tonight and that she herself will hold the Women's World Championship.
Backstage, The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) meet with Roman Reigns. They state that CM Punk claims to have something on Roman but really has nothing, and is insulting Roman by calling him a part-timer, but Roman calls being a full-time father for his wife and child "the real flex." Jey says that Punk owes them an apology, but Roman says he does not need one even though The Usos do.
AJ Lee retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Bayley by submission with the Black Widow after rolling away from a top rope elbow drop by Bayley.
Backstage, JD McDonagh argues with General Manager Adam Pearce. As Pearce states that "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio is not medically cleared, Penta walks by on his way to the ring.
After the commercial break, Becky Lynch attacks AJ Lee on the stage and at the entrance ramp. Referees and officials have to pull Becky away from AJ Lee, but Becky grabs the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship and hits AJ Lee in the face with it.
Penta heads to the ring. He insists that he wants to be a fighting champion, then says he will defend his championship against anyone. Penta tells whoever comes to the ring to face him to be ready, and his open challenge is answered by Dragon Lee.
Penta retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dragon Lee.
Backstage, Paul Heyman is met by Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Theory says that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is a dead man and that they will take care of him, but Heyman warns them that they have no power and are out of position, and that they must get back into title contention. He says that if Logan and Theory can beat The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) for the World Tag Team Championships, they can get back into singles title contention. Theory and Logan are more than game and willing to face The Usos.
Nattie beats Maxxine Dupri by submission with the Sharpshooter.
We see fan reactions of Randy Orton's attack on "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes from last week's SmackDown, which is now the most viewed moment in social media for WWE in 2026 with 112 million views.
Michael Cole interviews Randy Orton. Orton is on the phone with someone at the start of the interview, which Orton changes his mind on after having a conversation with someone that made him understand who he is, which caused him to attack "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Orton says he is a killer, and says that wrestling has more than one royal family.
Backstage, Dragon Lee is met by Je'Von Evans, but they are soon met by Kofi Kingston. Dragon Lee leaves, and Kofi advises Je'Von that it is all about who one associates with, and mocks Dragon Lee in the process, saying that he is "dragon Je'Von down." Je'Von declines Kofi's offer to join The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Grayson Waller). Grayson Waller shows up after Je'Von leaves, then Danhausen shows up, thinking that Kofi Kingston is replacing Xavier Woods. Kofi is not in the mood for Danhausen's ideas, as is Grayson, and puts Grayson in front of him when Danhausen tries to curse Kofi. Danhausen disappears afterwards.
Stephanie Vaquer beats Raquel Rodriguez after taking out Liv Morgan on the outside following Iyo Sky confronting Liv Morgan only to be pounced into the announce table by Raquel. Afterwards, Raquel goes for a Tejana Bomb back in the ring, but Vaquer slips out and pins Raquel to win.
Backstage, Bayley is unhappy with herself for losing tonight, and Lyra says that the both of them are going to WrestleMania and that they are going to get there together. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) confront Bayley and Lyra for costing them championship gold, and says that the two of them are not ready for her. Kairi tells Bayley and Lyra "Stay away from us" before Asuka yells at her. Lyra and Bayley soon realize they have their path to WrestleMania.
Backstage, The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) run into LA Knight. LA Knight says that The Vision have all their names in their mouths, then says that Roman Reigns is getting a little too cozy. Jimmy tells Knight it is family business and to mind his business, but Knight says that if The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso) comes back, they will not be on the same page. Knight fistbumps Jimmy, but Jey refuses to reciprocate.
Roman Reigns heads to the ring. Roman calls out CM Punk so they can handle some business, and CM Punk shows up and makes his way to the ring. Punk takes exception to being called "Phil," saying calling Roman "Joe" would be an insult to Samoa Joe, but Roman says that if Punk called Samoa Joe, he would remind him who the real tribal chief is. On the subject of Roman sending his family after him, Punk says all they will do is high five him.On the subject of Roman sending his family after him, Punk says all they will do is high five him. Punk then admits that while The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) took care of family business and had the right message, and that he deserved what he got last week, they had the wrong messenger. Roman is "trite and redundant" and repeats the same thing over and over. He tells Punk not to waste his time until he can come up with a promo that can surprise him, but Punk stops Roman from leaving, saying that this is his show. He says that he is in Roman's head and under Roman's skin, and that he will never point at the WrestleMania sign again. Punk tells Roman that he will hit him with the GTS and split his ego in two at WrestleMania. Roman tells Punk is delusional, saying he cannot faze him even though he is good with the mental game, and that Punk "can't do the walkin'." He says that Punk is nothing to him and is not faster or stronger than him, and says that Punk is not only a tryhard who embarrasses everyone else, he is old. Punk sucker punches Roman, and officials have to get between Punk and Roman. Roman is smiling and laughing as the show fades to black.

As Michael Cole and Corey Graves talk about the tribute to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Gunther comes out of the concourse and the crowd to interrupt the start of tonight's show, and tells them to leave the ring, go back to the announce table and mention how great he is. He says that the fans are losers and that losers like losers Bill Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles, all of whom he brags about retiring, and says this should be a celebration of the greatest in-ring wrestler today: himself. Gunther talks over General Manager Adam Pearce as he shows up and says he know this would happen, then shows up with and demands Gunther leave. Gunther says he will leave disgraced about what is happening tonight, then leaves the ring. Gunther then turns around to bring more attention to himself as he is about to head to the back, and he is attacked from behind by Dragon Lee. Dragon Lee is soon held back, and Gunther is forced out of the building. Dragon Lee catches back up to Gunther and attacks him some more, and all of the security guards have to pull Dragon Lee off of Gunther. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes then shows up, pats Pearce on the shoulder, then heads to the ring. Cody is not able to say much when The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) shows up. Theory takes exception to the mistreatment being afforded The Vision and states that he is ashamed to be from Atlanta, Georgia. Logan then states that Cody is not ashamed to be from Atlanta because, like the fans, he has zero common sense. Logan states that when Bronson Reed qualifies for and wins the Elimination Chamber match, The Vision will take over SmackDown as well, and Cody will be the first one out the door. Logan then announces that Bronson's qualifier starts right now, then Cody says somebody would disagree about Bronson winning at the Elimination Chamber. The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) then show up from out of the crowd for the next match.
"Main Event" Jey Uso beats El Grande Americano I and "Big" Bronson Reed in a men's Elimination Chamber qualifier. During the match, Bronson Reed suffers a distal biceps tear. Later on in the show, it is announced that he will be out indefinitely.

CM Punk shows up to the arena with Tyler Reddick, who does donuts in his race car before the two of them leave the vehicle.
Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio head to the ring. Dominik announces that Liv Morgan is about to make her decision regarding her WrestleMania opponent, and asks both Stephanie Vaquer and Jade Cargill to come to the ring so Liv can make her decision face to face. Vaquer arrives to the ring first, followed by Cargill, and Liv says both of them have been patiently waiting for her decision and that she has decided. She admits that Vaquer's words from last week caught her by surprise and that she has thought about them, and says that Vaquer is right and that she has not realized how selfish and privileged she was with ten years of the best of everything. She admits she still thought she was struggling and that she did not know Vaquer's story, and that Vaquer is the champion she is because she is because of her story. Liv then says she must focus on her own story. Liv then looks at Cargill, then turns around and hits Vaquer with a cheap shot followed by a ground and pound. Liv then hits a lungblower in the corner followed by the Ob-Liv-Ion on Vaquer. She then raises up the Women's World Championship.
Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Je'Von Evans. Je'Von looks in the distance and notices Offset in the distance. Offset says he is looking forward to the men's Elimination Chamber match, then The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller show up. Xavier Woods - whose arm is in a sling - is not happy that he does not have a tribute show tonight and is giving Je'Von his flowers, and Kofi says he has been trying to invite Offset for years. Offset tells The New Day they suck, and Je'Von takes this as The New Day wanting a fight. Kofi tells Je'Von to lace up his boots, because he can never lace up his.
The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) are seen backstage with "Michin" Mia Yim, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Nattie beats Maxxine Dupri by referee stoppage after Maxxine is knocked out upon being sent into the ring post on the outside. Nattie has to be forced to the back after the match.
Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez tells Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio that tonight will be a cakewalk. JD McDonagh apologizes for Finn Balor for being a hothead, and says he just wants Finn to be a world champion. Finn says brothers fight but always make up, and that he will be a world champion. Dominik blames Finn and McDonagh for losing last week, but Finn says he has been preparing for the biggest match of his career and that he held his own instead of blaming others when no one had his back, and tells Dominik he should do the same.
NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick, rapper 2 Chainz and rapper Lil Yachty are all seen in the front row.
General Manager Adam Pearce asks a backstage worker to transport the giant crate to Chicago, Illinois. Rusev meets with Adam Pearce, but he is soon interrupted by Oba Femi. Rusev wants to fight him, but Pearce tells them to save it for another time and place for "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles' sake.
Brock Lesnar and "The Oracle" Paul Heyman head to the ring. Heyman says he is a wiseman and an oracle, but he is also the advocate for Lesnar. He also reminds everyone that Lesnar broke The Undertaker's undefeated streak, and now the only dead man walking is the one that comes down the aisle to face Lesnar. Heyman then says everyone wants to know who will face Lesnar at WrestleMania, and says he has neither a prediction or a spoiler, for when he and Lesnar walk through the locker room, no one was identified as man enough to take an ass kicking of biblical proportions. Heyman then shows us the appearance that Lesnar will make on the road to WrestleMania, and at any time, if any man is willing to go down in history by taking the absolute worst beating at WrestleMania, all they have to do is walk down the aisle and get in Lesnar's face. Heyman then says that he does not think that is going to happen and that nobody will take that challenge, as while everyone can have all the title matches they want, facing Lesnar and getting their ass kicked is the real main event. Heyman then says that nobody has the balls to face Lesnar at WrestleMania.
Je'Von Evans is accompanied by Offset for the next match.
Je'Von Evans beats Kofi Kingston after Offset tosses Grayson Waller over the announce table and distracts Kofi long enough for Je'Von to hit the OG Cutter for the win.

Frankie Kazarian and Abyss are backstage for tonight's tribute to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles.
We hear from Finn Balor, who says that CM Punk is not the only one with people mad at him and that he has to prove to so many people that he can become a world champion. He says one can learn from a win and even more from a defeat, and when he lost to Punk in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he had to change his mindset in order to become a world champion.
Dwight Howard, Jermaine Dupri, Funny Marco and Bow Wow are seen in the front row.
CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says he is here to celebrate "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and that the fans can go ahead and chant Styles' name, and while he is keeping things quick so that Styles can speak to the fans, he has something to get off his chest. He talks about how risky it is to be a fighting champion and how he is doing the best he can to give the fans the fighting champion that they deserve, and that he does not deal in "what ifs." He asks "What if Roman Reigns was here tonight?" before stating that "what ifs" are not rooted in reality and that Roman is not here tonight. He ponders what would happen if Finn Balor beat him, then says Roman will be here next week. He ponders what would happen if he punched Roman in his face next week, then says he deals in facts, not in "what ifs," and that he will let Finn Balor and Roman Reigns ask "What if?" before stating that he is the champion, the main event of WrestleMania and the best in the world.
Petey Williams, Jeremy Borash and Omos are backstage for tonight's tribute to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles.
Raquel Rodriguez beats Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky in a women's Elimination Chamber qualifier after rolling out of an In-Sane Elbow and hitting the Tejana Bomb for the win.
We see a video package and tribute to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles chronicling Styles' career.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles heads to the ring. Styles states that he is very grateful for this night before talking about where he has wrestled and who he has faced throughout his career, going from TNA to Japan, and says that he has yet to be a full-time father and has missed important times in his family's lives. He considers "his biggest flex" having the best wife in the world and thanks his wife and kids for being here tonight, and admits that while things did not go as expected against Gunther at Royal Rumble, not many people get to go out where they started. On the subject of not leaving his gloves in the ring, he says that he is a man of his word and that his word is all he has before leaving his jacket in the middle of the ring and stating that he wanted to leave his gloves at home. Styles leaves his gloves on top of his jacket, then says he would have been nothing for the fans. He thanks the fans for the love, and states that he loves them right back. The locker room empties to thank Styles from the stage, then The Undertaker's gong sounds and the lights go out. The lights come back on when the headlights of The Undertaker's motorcycle light up, and The Undertaker heads to the ring. The Undertaker looks at Styles' jacket and gloves, then asks "You're just gonna leave your stuff here and leave?" He then says they have unfinished business and asks Styles if he has heard the phrase "If you see me coming, you're already gone." The Undertaker says he has changed that saying a little bit, and says that if Styles sees him coming, that means he is going, and says it is his esteemed honor to announced that Styles is the newest inductee into the 2026 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame. Styles celebrates the news with his family in the ring to end the show.
Gunther heads to the ring. He says that "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles made a mistake coming into their match with blinders on and being so focused on making him tap out that he forgot he was in the ring with the greatest wrestler in WWE. Gunther says his future looks very bright and will lead him back to the World Heavyweight Championship; therefore, he is declaring for the men's Royal Rumble match. As he reminds everyone how he lasted over one hour in the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles' entrance theme hits, and Styles heads to the ring. Styles knows that Gunther wants to move on, but he does not, and he demands a rematch at Royal Rumble. Gunther says he does not plan on pulling double duty and declines, but Styles accuses Gunther of being a coward as he leaves. Styles admits Gunther's hand may have been raised, but he beat himself when he did not rip his leg off and beat him with it, and tells Gunther that he "tapped out like a little bitch" to the Calf Crusher. He tells Gunther to admit if he is scared so they can both move on, and Gunther says he proved he is the smarter and better wrestler compared to Styles, and states that there is no incentive to wrestle him again. Gunther declines again, but he does not leave the ring when he gets an idea that there is something that Styles can do to get a rematch. Gunther stipulates that Styles must put his career on the line, then tells Styles to think about it and to think if this is a hill worth dying on before demanding his answer by the end of the night, unless Styles is "a little bit scared."
Backstage, Maxxine Dupri is met by Natalya, who wants to be in Maxxine's corner so that what happened between Maxxine and Becky Lynch does not happen tonight. Maxxine is happy, and says that she will see Natalya out there.
Becky Lynch retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. During the match, Natalya puts Becky's foot on the rope during a pinfall attempt, and that allows Becky to hit the Manhandle Slam to win and retain. After the match, Natalya attacks Maxxine and eventually puts her in the Sharpshooter.
Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce talks with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, telling him that he does not have to take Gunther's challenge. Styles says he will talk to his wife, and as he leaves, "The Oracle" Paul Heyman shows up. Pearce laughs, saying he has been thinking about Heyman and has had a great week, then says Bron Breakker is still suspended. Pearce tells Heyman that The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) should be on their best behavior, because he will be ringside for their match.
Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez tells the rest of The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez) that Stephanie Vaquer is still not medically cleared, and that when Vaquer does come back and put the Women's World Championship on the line, she will beat her worse than she did last week. Liv says that 2026 will be their year, as Finn and Raquel are about to become world champions while she and Roxanne are going to be Women's Tag Team Champions. Finn says that they are on his island tonight and that he is not leaving without the World Heavyweight Championship.
"Main Event" Jey Uso shows up in the crowd, says that he is here tonight and that he is declaring for the men's Royal Rumble match. He says that he will become a back-to-back Royal Rumble winner, and that he is firing his warning shot.
Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce runs into The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller, who demand their World Tag Team title rematch. Pearce gives them an opportunity next week in a Fatal 4-Way match, where the winning team will get a title shot. Adam Pearce then heads to ringside for the next match.
Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Penta beat The Vision ("Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory)in a six-man tag match. During the match, both General Manager Adam Pearce and "The Oracle" Paul Heyman argue on the ring apron, but when Logan Paul passes the brass knuckles to Austin Theory, Adam Pearce catches them out and the referee stops whatever plans Theory had with the brass knuckles with Pearce's help, as Pearce takes the brass knuckles away. Paul Heyman confronts Adam Pearce, and Rey Mysterio uses the brass knuckles - which Pearce has left on the ring apron - against Logan Paul before Penta hits Austin Theory with a Mexican Destroyer for the win.
Backstage, Jackie Demond interviews CM Punk. Punk says he is playing an away game going into double overtime, and that he wants the game on his stick. He says that this is the kind of pressure that gets him out of bed in the morning and proves he is the best in the world, and that this pressure will break Finn Balor.
WWE acknowledges Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States.
Backstage, "The Oracle" Paul Heyman rushes to catch up with General Manager Adam Pearce (and as he does, a boom mic hits him in the head). Heyman hands Pearce a phone and says he may want to take that phone call.
Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley head to the ring. Rhea mentions their Women's Tag Team Championship defense against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night's Main Event, then asks when they are going to learn that when it comes to them, "Rhiyo" is always on top. Rhea also announces that once they win and retain at Saturday Night's Main Event, they will be participating in the women's Royal Rumble match. All of a sudden, Liv and Roxanne show up, and Liv says that Rhea and Iyo are more delusional than they thought and that she is taking the women's tag titles back. She also advises Iyo to dump Rhea before she turns on her, stating that Rhea's selfishness will get the better of her and leave her with no one. Roxanne announces that she, Liv and Raquel Rodriguez will all also be entering the women's Royal Rumble match and that one of them will headline WrestleMania. Rhea chalks this all up to projection, then asks how the three of them being in the Royal Rumble match will work. Rhea is suddenly attacked from out of nowhere by Raquel, and Raquel, Liv and Roxanne quicky clean house. Rhea Ripley fights back, but the numbers game takes over, and Liv hits Rhea with Ob-Liv-Ion.
Backstage, Bayley is disappointed in herself over her and Lyra Valkyria's recent loss when Lyra Valyria shows up. Lyra shows up and says she finds it hard to be positive right now, especially since she let her friend down. Bayley says that neither of them got pinned and that they still have the rest of the year. Both of them declare for the women's Royal Rumble match.
El Grande Americano beats Je'Von Evans by referee stoppage after Je'Von Evans gets injured. Early in the match, El Grande Americano accidentally bump heads at the ring apron following a back drop.
Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Finn Balor. Finn says the magnitude of tonight is not lost on him, but it may be lost on CM Punk. He says that Punk is a fighting champion and that he respects him, but he questions his judgment, for he is on his island in front of his people, and in Belfast, Northern Ireland, there will be a new Irish World Heavyweight Champion.
We see a vignette for Oba Femi.
Backstage, The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) run into General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce asks for Bron Breakker to meet with him next week so they can iron things out, and that the recent phone call had nothing to do with it. Heyman says that can be done before mockingly telling Pearce to be on his best behavior. The Vision leaves, then "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up and says that his wife has told him to kick Gunther's ass. Pearce makes Gunther vs. Styles with Styles' career on the line official for Royal Rumble.
Backstage, Asuka chews out Kairi Sane for failing her and blames her for losing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, saying it hurt almost as much as Iyo Sky turning on her. Kairi promises that she will make sure she wins the Royal Rumble, and says taht she will do anything. Asuka approves of this, and tells Kairi not to make her yell at her again.
Finn Balor comes out to his original entrance theme before the next match.
CM Punk retains the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor. After the match, CM Punk helps Finn Balor up, says something to him, then raises his hand in a show of respect.
The show starts with Michael Cole and Corey Graves coming out of a radio station van as part of tonight's Stranger Things collaboration.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky beat The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions!
Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce congratulates Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky on the championship win, then meets Gunther and reminds him that tonight is a big night and that a little respect goes a long way. Gunther heads to the ring, and after the commercial break, mentions that he has been asked by management to show a little bit of respect as the fans boo him, then asks about respect for him for making John Cena tap out. Before he can finish the sentence with "Like a little bitch," "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up and heads to the ring. Gunther interrupts Styles whenever he tries to speak, telling Styles that he is punching above his weight and proclaiming that he is the greatest wrestler in WWE because he made Cena tap out. He then finishes the sentence with "Like a little bitch" when Styles tries to speak again, then asks Styles what he will do about it before performing the "You can't see me" hand signal. Styles slaps Gunther in the face, making Gunther angry, but when Gunther does not strike back, Styles says "Just like I thought...nothing!" before leaving the ring.
Backstage, Ivy Nile demands a shot at the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship from General Manager Adam Pearce, refusing to go to the back of the line. After Ivy Nile leaves, Gunther demands a match with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, and Styles confronts Gunther. Gunther leaves before Pearce makes the match official for next week.
Becky Lynch beats Maxxine Dupri to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship for the second time after Becky leans back to pin Maxxine's shoulders to the mat as Maxxine has her in an ankle lock while using the ropes for leverage.

During the commercial break on the international Netflix feed, General Manager Adam Pearce hands Je'Von Evans a Raw contract. Je'Von signs it, becoming the newest member of the red brand.

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) show up in the crowd. Jey thanks "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the fight last week - and last year - and says that this year is theirs and that this is a warning shot. Jimmy declares that The Usos are the best tag team in the game and calls out all potential challengers, then Jey says that they are on Monday Night Raw every week and that everyone knows where to find them.
Jackie Redmond interviews Stephanie Vaquer in the ring. Vaquer is wearing a walking boot on her left leg following last week's World Women's Championship defense. Afterwards, she is suddenly attacked from behind by Raquel Rodriguez. General Manager Adam Pearce stops Raquel from wrapping the chair around Vaquer's left foot, and Raquel leaves the ring.
Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez attacks Stephanie Vaquer again, this time as she is being helped to medical. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with other officials and ensures that Raquel is removed from the building.
Backstage, Rey Mysterio tells Dragon Lee that he has come a long way and that he will be champion again. Dragon Lee leaves to check on "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, then Penta shows up and says he has been watching what The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) has been doing. Rey thanks Penta for having his back, and that Penta understands the history, tradition and respect of lucha libre that The Vision want to destroy. Penta tells Rey that he will continue to have his back.

Liv Morgan beats Lyra Valkyria after Bayley and Roxanne Perez go at it on the outside and Bayley chases Roxanne to the back with a metal folding chair. It is Liv's first match in over seven months.
Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews CM Punk, who says that everyone would talk about him rather than themselves and that if he is underestimated, he will hit the GTS.

CM Punk retains the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker. During the match, the rest of The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory) gets involved in the match, but they are taken down and chased out through the crowd by Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Penta.
Gunther heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Along the way, he stands on the announce table in triumph. The crowd chants "You suck!" and "You tapped out!" before Gunther says he did what he said he would do and made John Cena give up, and when he gave up, he tapped out like a little bitch. He then leaves the ring only to re-enter it. Gunther then stands on the second rope in celebration before the fans chant "You suck!" again, then Gunther leaves and turns back around a second time. This time, he celebrates again on the announce table and declares that he made John Cena tap out like a little bitch, and for that, he will be known as the man that made John Cena give up. Gunther then heads to the back for real this time, then the camera follows him. Akira Tozawa and Otis confront him for being happy about what he has done, as does R-Truth, who calls him a piece of trash. General Manager Adam Pearce asks Gunther if he is proud of what he has done, and says that his actions make him an asshole, not "The Ring General." Pearce then tells him to leave after Gunther asks him if he is done, and Gunther promptly leaves. Gunther asks "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles if there is anything he wants to tell him on his way out, then mockingly tells Styles that he cannot see him after he gets in his car.
The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods).
We hear from The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Asuka is still angry that Iyo Sky would not address her as senpai, and Kairi Sane says that they both loved Iyo. Asuka says that Iyo sided with Rhea even after Rhea disrespected her, and declares that on January 5th, they will put an end to Rhea and Iyo and win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
Backstage, Logan Paul and Bronson Reed talk about what they did to LA Knight last week, then Bron Breakker tells them that CM Punk is here and that they should destroy him. When Logan Paul says that the masked man will show up, Paul Heyman shows up and says that if the masked man is aligned with The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul), he will take the help. Bron Breakker wants to take out CM Punk, but Heyman reminds Breakker to wait until January 5th to take him out so he can become World Heavyweight Champion.Logan reminds Breakker that he has Rey Mysterio tonight after Heyman leaves, and that he would appreciate the help.
It is announced that LA Knight is injured and will be out indefinitely with a score of injuries, including a cracked sternum.
Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley head to the ring. As they head over to the ring, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) suddenly attack them from the front row, with Asuka spitting blue mist into Rhea's face. Referees try to restore order, but as Asuka holds Rhea down for an In-Sane Elbow, Iyo covers Rhea and takes the In-Sane Elbow to the small of the back, protecting Rhea. Medical staff check on a still-blinded Rhea.
Maxxine Dupri retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Ivy Nile by submission with the ankle lock.

We see a video package for Oba Femi, Sol Ruca, Joe Hendry, Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater at Saturday Night's Main Event. Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is meeting with Je'Von when Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano, Bravo Americano) show up. Je'Von knows enough Spanish to know that El Grande Americano is talking down on NXT. This leads to Je'Von Evans having a match with Rayo Americano next week.
CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says that he was forced to miss the last two weeks because he could not get medically cleared and that he had to listen to Bron Breakker talk. He calls Breaker "a cross-eyed Neanderthal nepo baby" and says that brains do not run in Breakker's family. He also mentions Breakker mentioning that it was too easy to beat him, then says that Breakker cannot beat him without help from his friends. He says that Breakker may have pinned him for a World title shot, but he did not do it on his own. CM Punk says he has been there before and that Heyman has taken plenty of people with a little bit of talent and gassed them up. He also tells Breakker that if he mentions AJ Lee again, it will go from business to personal. Punk says he would tell Breakker to come to their World Heavyweight Championship match alone, but he will not, not because he does not have the guts, but because he does not have the heart. He tells Breakker to bring all the help he can, including his father and uncle, as he has no chance of beating him for the World Heavyweight Championship.Punk says that when Breakker finds out that Heyman has left him for the next big thing and that his masked mystery man never showed up, all he will have left is his father and uncle, and that even in Steiner Math, "GTS = 1, 2, 3."
Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio hopes that Logan Paul puts an end to his deadbeat bad, then mentions that Finn Balor is with JD McDonagh and that McDonagh will be on the shelf for a while. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez then focus on Raquel Rodriguez's Women's World title match. Raquel says she can take Stephanie Vaquer alone as Liv focuses on her and Roxanne winning the women's tag titles. Raquel is glad that Liv is back and that the women's titles are coming back.
Raquel Rodriguez vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the Women's World Championship ends with Nikki Bella showing up from out of the crowd to attack both women. After the match, Nikki Bella hits Vaquer with the Rack Attack 2.0 in the middle of the ring.
Backstage, Paul Heyman insists to General Manager Adam Pearce that he has no idea who the masked man helping The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul) is, and Pearce wants to know by the end of the night as Heyman leaves. Rhea Ripley then shows up wanting a match with Asuka, and Pearce gives it to her for next week.
Backstage, CM Punk tells Rey Mysterio that he has his back against Logan Paul.
Jackie Redmond interviews AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Styles says that they are ready to defend the World Tag Team Championships, and Dragon Lee says that they will bring the fire against any team at any time. After they leave, Nikki Bella shows up and says she is not apologizing for putting people beneath her in their place, then says that the locker room does not appreciate the road that she paved and that Raquel Rodriguez and Stephanie Vaquer should be polishing her boots.
Backstage, Bayley congratulates Maxxine Dupri on retaining the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship, then Lyra Valkyria meets with Bayley. Bayley says her loss to Sol Ruca has gotten her thinking about what Asuka said. Lyra says that this is not the Bayley she grew up watching and that this Bayley would lose to Roxanne Perez, but Bayley says that she will not be losing to Roxanne next week. Lyra is smiling as Bayley walks away.
Logan Paul beats Rey Mysterio. During the match, Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed head to the ring, but CM Punk is close behind them, and he hits them both with a metal folding chair and sends them running back to the back. "The Oracle" Paul Heyman hands the brass knuckles to Logan, but Rey trips Logan into the ropes and hits the 619, knocking the brass knuckles out of Logan's hand in the process. As Rey goes for the brass knuckles, he is suddenly curbed stomped by the masked man clad in black. Logan Paul then hits Rey with a splash from the top rope to win. After the match, the masked man gets on the apron, and he and Logan Paul look at each other before the masked man flees through the crowd, unmasks, and reveals himself to be Austin Theory. CM Punk turns around and is hit by a Spear from Bron Breakker. Breakker tells Punk that if he mentions his family again, he will never stand on two feet ever again. Breakker then holds up the World Heavyweight Championship to end the show.
John Cena heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Cena mentions his history in Madison Square Garden and how this will be the last time he will be here and on Raw. He says that this is a very important moment for him when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up. Dominik says that nobody wants to hear what Cena has to say and that last week, Cena was handed a title shot just like he was handed everything else, then says he has fought for everything he has had. He demands a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and when Cena asks the fans how they feel about a rematch tonight, the fans make it clear that they want it. Dominik says that they will do this his way, and that he wants the rematch in San Diego, California at Survivor Series, since Cena will have the hometown advantage tonight. Cena accepts the challenge. Cena then says he told everyone he would have a match tonight, then says he has an opponent in Dominik and challenges Dominik to make history in a non-title match. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh show up, and Dominik says that Cena will get his ass beat instead of the final match on Raw that he wanted. Dominik, McDonagh and Finn Balor attack Cena, when suddenly, Sheamus makes the save for Cena but still gets ganged up on. All of a sudden, Rey Mysterio runs in and brawls with Dominik, evening the numbers game and allowing Cena and Sheamus to clean house. Cena says that he and Dominik both have a team, and makes it a six-man tag match before calling for a referee.

Backstage, Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis meets with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce regarding Drew McIntyre when Paul Heyman shows up. Heyman says that his actions were within rules and regulations. He then says that if his fourth pick of Drew McIntyre pissed them off, then they should see what he has in store for them next as he hands them a black binder. Pearce opens the binder, and he and Aldis look at the first page before Pearce says "This should be fun."
Actor-comedian Eric Andre, singer Ashley Cooke, members of the Philadelphia Eagles, members of the New York Giants (inclduing Cam Skattebo) and podcaster Andrew Schulz are seen in the front row. We then see footage of The Judgment Day messing with Andrew Schulz in the front row when members of the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles stand beside him and fight back.
Jackie Redmond is in the ring. We see footage of Nikki Bella's heel turn on Stephanie Vaquer from last week, then Jackie Redmond introduces Vaquer to the ring. All of a sudden, she is attacked by Nikki Bella, who says that she came back not to sit on the sidelines or be Vaquer's friend, but to take back the women's division. She thanks Vaquer for reminding her of who she is, and that she will give her a match for the Women's World Championship and bow down to her.
Backstage, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria run into The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), who need teammates for WarGames. Asuka says she can forget the past and forgive Bayley if she fights with her, but Bayley rejects the offer. Asuka says something in Japanese, then walks away. Kairi Sane pretends to be John Cena until Asuka calls her away. Lyra goes for a high five, but Bayley says "What are you, five? Let's go, you idiot!"
Solo Sikoa's mystery opponent is revealed to be "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth, using the Dolph Ziggler name for the first time since leaving WWE.

Alexa Bliss is in the ring. She says that Charlotte Flair has been ignoring her all weekend, then looks into the camera and says that she gets that they lost the women's tag titles and that while titles are easy to get back, trust is not. She says that she has seen the real Charlotte and seen what she could be after all they have been through, then asks when Charlotte has cared about people liking her, and says Charlotte has had her back when she had hers. As Alexa says she has gone to hell and back for Charlotte, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), Nia Jax and Lash Legend show up and head to the ring. Asuka laughs at Alexa while Nia Jax makes fun of Alexa for "standing in the ring like a total loser" before stating that she knows why Charlotte left her and that nobody is coming to save her. As the four of them surround the ring, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky rush to the ring. This leads to a brawl, and Alexa gets knocked out by Lash Legend before Charlotte shows up with a shinai and cleans house. Charlotte helps Alexa up, then Iyo Sky gets close to Rhea.

Maxxine Dupri beats Becky Lynch to become the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion when AJ Lee shows up and distracts Becky Lynch as she removes a top turnbuckle cover. Maxxine Dupri hits Becky Lynch with a top rope cross body as soon as Becky turns around for the pin, the win and the title.
NFL analyst Brandon Marshall, actor and stuntman Chuck Zito, and stand-up comedian Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias are seen in the crowd.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews AJ Lee and Maxxine Dupri. Maxxine says that all of her hard work has finally paid off and that she has beaten one of the best in Becky Lynch, then thanks AJ Lee. AJ Lee says not to thank her, saying she just put a bully in her place. Otis and Akira Tozawa show up and leave with Maxxine to celebrate. AJ Lee says that she just wanted to help CM Punk, but seeing Becky Lynch brought out a fire in her that she never had. She then sees Rhea Ripley, who asks "You got a second to chat?" AJ says "Sure."
We see another casino vignette for WrestleMania 42, this time with CM Punk.
The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul) heads to the ring. After the commercial break, Drew McIntyre joins them. Heyman introduces everyone and lists off his WarGames accomplishments, then says that this team is the best that he has assembled. Suddenly, CM Punk shows up from the back, and he is soon joined by The Usos, who appear from the crowd. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes comes out from the back and stands alongside Punk as they and The Usos surround the ring. This leads to a brawl, and CM Punk lays out Drew McIntyre before Brock Lesnar shows up and heads to the ring. Lesnar hits CM Punk with an F5, then Cody fights him only to be thrown around with two German suplexes. Before the show ends, however, Roman Reigns suddenly shows up. Roman and Lesnar come face to face in the ring. They brawl, and Roman ducks a clothesline and hits a Superman Punch. Security arrivs to ensure both men stop fighting, but "Big" Bronson Reed attacks Roman from behind and takes out security. Roman gets up as Bronson goes for a Tsunami and hits Bronson with a Superman Punch. This time, New York City policemen have to work with security, but that does not stop Roman from Spearing Bronson through a barrier. The show then fades to black.
General Manager Adam Pearce is in the ring to start tonight's show. Before he can provide an update concerning last week, a black GMC Denali drives in, and out comes The Vision (Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, "The Oracle" Paul Heyman). Bron Breakker is holding the World Heavyweight Championship. The Vision make their way to the ring, and Pearce chews them out for what they did to Seth "Freakin'" Rollins at the end of last week's show, and states that Rollins has undertaken major surgery and will be on the shelf for some time. Pearce strips Seth "Freakin'" Rollins of the World Heavyweight Championship, then announces that a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at Saturday Night's Main Event. He announces that there will be an over-the-top-rope battle royal with the winner facing CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event, and that the battle royal will happen tonight. Pearce then demands Breakker hand over the World Heavyweight Championship, but Breakker asks "What happens if I don't?" before demanding respect from Pearce after having a word with Heyman. Pearce respectfully requests Breakker to hand over the title, but Breakker demands Pearce say "Please." Pearce asks Breakker to hand it over again, this time not so nicely while still saying "Please." Breakker hands the title over to Heyman, who glances at the World Heavyweight Championship before handing it to Pearce. Pearce then leaves with the World Heavyweight title. Heyman then asks why everyone is mad at The Vision and asks what they did to deserve it, saying he did what he did at WrestleMania because he believes that Bron Breakker is the future and that Bronson is better than Roman Reigns. He says that Bronson proved that at Crown Jewel, then mentions Seth pointing to the sign and says he could not shoulder the responsibility of leading The Vision into the future, calling him "a bum shoulder bitch." Heyman states that winners write history and that Bronson and Breakker are winners, and states that while he is a kind and gentle oracle, Bronson and Breakker pulled the trigger to become WrestleMania main eventers. He calls this not a rewrite of history, but a revision of the future, then thanks the fans for their time before welcoming them to the show.
Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez) has faith that Roxanne Perez will win the World Heavyweight Championship. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up, and Finn Balor and JD McDonagh get mad at him for having to defend the World Tag Team titles before leaving. Roxanne tells Dominik not to let this get to him, and Raquel tells Roxanne to get her head in the game.

Backstage, "Main Event" Jey Uso apologizes to Jimmy Uso for his words last week, saying he was mad at himself for making the same mistake as he made in Paris. Jimmy tells Jey that he lost the World title because he stopped believing in himself, but Jey says Roman Reigns might be right, too. Jimmy tells Jey to figure things out before the battle royal, because he is going in on everyone, including him. Jey asks Jimmy if everything is cool, to which Jimmy says yes.
"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rusev. During the match, Penta stops Dominik from escaping. Rusev sends Dominik into Penta, and that allows Dominik to put the ring bell hammer in one of his boots. Rusev is able to avoid the 619 and find the hammer in his boot, but the ref takes the hammer away as Rusev tries to attack Dominik with it. This allows Dominik to kick Rusev in the groin before hitting the top rope frog slash to win and retain. After the match, Penta hits Rusev with a springboard tornado DDT in response for throwing Dominik at him.

Maxxine Dupri beat Becky Lynch by disqualification. During the match, Becky tries to get out of the match, but Maxxine stops her from doing it and hits her with a Sunset Flip even as Becky tries to grab the referee. After kicking out, Becky then hits Maxxine with the Women's Intercontinental Championship in full view of the referee. Becky Lynch retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Becky attacks Maxxine and hits her with the Manhandle Slam.
We hear from The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Asuka brags about ruining Rhea Ripley's trip home as well as her and Kairi breaking Iyo Sky's spirit like she broke Rhea's face. Kairi Sane says Rhea must pay for breaking their family apart. Asuka tells Kairi that she finally showed what she wanted to see from her: how ruthless she can be. She says The Kabuki Warriors will continue to be ruthless. Kairi says they need a new challenge, and Asuka says they need gold around their waists before warning the women's tag team division that they are back.
General Manager Adam Pearce meets with Paul Heyman. Pearce tells Heyman that Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed are out of the battle royal, and makes Heyman say "please" in order to put them back in the match. Heyman says "please," then Adam Pearce says it is still not happening. Pearce shuts his door, then turns around and runs right into Becky Lynch. He tells Becky that Breakker and Bronson conspired against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and that he had to put himself between them. He also tells her that he put himself in harm's way, then tells Becky that The Vision (Breakker, Bronson, Heyman) still has a spot for her. Becky grabs Heyman by the tie and tells him that she is not buying this, and warns Heyman that Seth saw this coming. She then warns him that Seth is going to go after anyone he attaches himself to and make Heyman wish he was going after him.
Stephanie Vaquer beats Roxanne Perez after taking out both her and Raquel Rodriguez on the outside. After the match, Raquel hits Vaquer from behind, and Roxanne joins in. Suddenly, Nikki Bella runs intot he ring and makes the save. She levels Roxanne with a clothesline, but eats a big boot from Raquel. Vaquer hits Raquel with a springboard clothesline and hits her with a DDT, then she and Nikki send Roxanne and Raquel packing.
Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce congratulates Lyra Valkyria when Bayley shows up. Bayley tells Lyra she has a surprise for her birthday next week, much to Lyra's chagrin.
Backstage, Paul Heyman meets with Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed. Bron wants himself and Bronson back in the battle royal tonight. Heyman mentions Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Roman Reigns and how he made them successful, then tells him to look in the mirror and listen to him.
Backstage, Stephanie Vaquer tells Nikki Bella that Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez will not take her titles. Nikki tells Vaquer that she has taken the women's division to the next level and is now champion, and asks her to be cautious, because she has a target on her back and anyone can take her out. Stephanie tells Nikki she owes her one, and Nikki says she will take her up on that, having now made two new enemies.
CM Punk guests on commentary for the next match.
"Main Event" Jey Uso last eliminates "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to win a battle royal and face CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event. During the match, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight tumble over the top rope at the same time as Jimmy tries to clothesline Knight over the top rope before Jey can save Jimmy. After the match, Jimmy Uso is none too pleased about being eliminated before Jey Uso and CM Punk have a staredown in the middle of the ring to end the show.
Roman Reigns heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Before he can say much of anything, however, "Big" Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman show up. Heyman says that he does not know who has been advising him regarding public speaking since he broke his heart, then introduces Bronson Reed as "your tribal thief." He says that Roman has never been beaten so badly that he had to be carried out on a stretcher and taken to the hospital in an ambulance, then Bronson demands the microphone. Bronson says that Roman's father Sika was never stretchered out, and neither was his uncle, yet Roman was stretchered out by his own hands. Roman says Heyman knows his family, not Bronson, and that his father would say "Fight him now." He then declares "Let's do this...now!" Heyman stops Bronson, telling him that Roman is on his time. Roman can tell what Heyman is saying to Bronson immediately, then says he is levels above Roman and that it will be his time no matter what. Heyman then says that this match will happen at Crown Jewel, and that it will be an Australian Street Fight. Roman accepts the challenge. Heyman says "Good night, everybody!" Roman says Bronson and Heyman walked in like tough guys only to walk out like bitches, and Bronson gets in the ring with Roman and the two men brawl. Roman sends Bronson tumbling into the timekeeper's area before breaking down the announce table and being stopped by officials and security, who try to stop the brawl but cannot stop a Superman Punch to Bronson.
Backstage, Asuka demands that General Manager Adam Pearce make a match against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky tonight. Pearce says Rhea is in Australia, then says that he will ask Iyo Sky if she wants the match. Pearce leaves, then Kairi shows up. Asuka says they will teach Rhea and Iyo respect, then tells Iyo that she will face Iyo tonight. Kairi does not want to face Iyo, but Asuka slaps her and tells her the match is happening. Kairi reneges, and Asuka says "You'd better win."
Maxxine Dupri beats Becky Lynch by count-out. During the match, Becky throws Maxxine around on the outside before showboating on the announce table, and Maxxine gets back in the ring before Becky does to win by count-out.
Backstage, Roman Reigns meets with The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso). Jimmy is offended by Bronson Reed's comments, and Jey says he has Roman's back. Roman says he does not need help and that Jey should be focused on his own business, as CM Punk is talking at the top of the hour and not Jey. Jey leaves, then Roman tells Jimmy that he sees and hears everything, and wants to know what the problem is with Jey taking advice from him before walking off.
Backstage, Lyra Valkyria is met by Bayley, who wants to be in Lyra's corner. Lyra asks Bayley how she is feeling, then says Raquel Rodriguez will be out there and that she needs all the help she can get.
Roxanne Perez beats Lyra Valkyria after Bayley counters a move that Roxanne is about to hit Lyra with as Raquel Rodriguez distracts the referee. Raquel hits Bayley with a big boot afterwards, and when Lyra hits Raquel with a tope suicida, Roxanne hits Lyra with a DDT on the outside followed by Pop Rox inside the ring tow in. After the match, Bayley and Lyra go after Roxanne and Raquel.

We see a video package for John Cena vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles at Crown Jewel and their past matches up to this point.
Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. The interview is interrupted by The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio), and Dominik says Styles thinks he can beat Cena when he cannot beat him while Finn tells him that a tag team title match is a big mistake. AJ Styles proposes that they have a six-man tag match just to see how tough The Judgment Day is.
Rusev is seen arguing with General Manager Adam Pearce as CM Punk heads to the ring.
Backstage, "The Phenomenal" AJ Lee and Dragon Lee meet up with Penta and ask him to team up with them against The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio). All of a sudden, Lyra Valkyria and Bayley are seen attacking Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez jumps in before officials try to restore order.
PBR bullriders John Crimber, Hudson Bolton and Rocker Steiner as well as the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are seen in the crowd.
CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk thanks the fans for their warm welcome back to WWE for AJ Lee, then mentions the Men's Crown Jewel Championship match and his promise to keep his nose out of "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes' business despite his history with Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. He says he started the year beating Rollins on Netflix and that he will do it again to end the year, and says he will get the World Heavyweight Championship back as he has Rollins' number. All of a sudden, LA Knight shows up, and he says that he has yet to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and while he thanks him for being a good husband, he calls him "a trash champion" for losing the title to Rollins and losing to Rollins again and again. Knight then brags that Rollins has never pinned him, with Punk reminding him that he has never been champion as he does, and Knight calls Punk a "two-time loser" while he is a "two-time winner" against Rollins, especially with Punk giving him one of those wins. As Knight states that he will be World Heavyweight Champion, "Main Event" Jey Uso shows up and says his mind is clear and that he never got his title rematch and that he is the one who is up next. Knight says Jey had the title, but he lost it, and his time came and went. He then says it is his time and not Jey's or Punk's, and says Jey will never be Roman and should be focusing on the tag titles. Jimmy shows up, and as Knight addresses him as well as Jey, Jey superkicks Knight, then Punk says that if Jey wants the title, he will have to get in line behind him. He then says Jey should focus on being part of a tag team, as he likes Jey but hates "Lil' Roman." Jimmy has to hold Jey back, and that gives Punk the means to knock Jey out. When Punk turns around, Jimmy superkicks him.
We hear from Iyo Sky, who says that what happened between herself and Asuka is Asuka's fault, not Rhea Ripley's. She admits she owes so much to Asuka, who she viewed like a big sister, but says Asuka's jealousy and disrespect changed everything. She says that Asuka was a reason she became champion, but not the only reason, then says Rhea is right and that Asuka wants only what is best for herself. Iyo also says a real family member would not take credit for her success, then says they are not family anymore and that she is starting to find out who is. She then says that at Crown Jewel, Asuka will find out she is not ready for Iyo.
Kairi Sane beats Iyo Sky after Iyo Sky attacks Asuka again during the match. When Kairi pins Iyo, she is able to grab Asuka's hands for leverage. After the match, Kairi Sane hits Iyo Sky with an In-Sane Elbow with help from Asuka.
We see part two of a set of video package of the history between "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.
Backstage, Becky Lynch blames the referee on tonight's loss as Seth "Freakin'" Rollins continues to look at the Rolex watch that "The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes gave him. Rollins then tells Paul Heyman that they should talk and says that he must win this Saturday. He then asks "What if I don't?" Heyman says that if Rollins loses, he loses the locker room and he loses the faith of The Vision, and he will throw away everything they have worked for and become a "de facto secondary champion." Rollins then mentions that Heyman left himself out of the equation, and demands a straight answer. Heyman says he will eventually have to ask himself why he picked Rollins over Roman Reigns.
"Main Event" Jey Uso is talking with Roman Reigns when Jimmy Uso shows up, and Jey asks Jimmy about why he was out there. Jey thinks Jimmy is protecting CM Punk and tells him to figure out whose side he is on. Jey leaves, then Jimmy tells Roman that he and Jey are nothing like him. Roman says that Jey became more like him and less like Jimmy when he was World Heavyweight Champion, and if he needs to help his brothers, sometime he will need to stay out of his way.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles is interrupted on the microphone before the next match.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Dragon Lee and Penta beat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio). During the match, Rusev shows up and goes after Dominik, who escapes after Rusev gets superkicked by Penta. Styles then hits McDonagh with the Styles Clash for the win. After the match, AJ Styles announces that the story between himself and John Cena writes itself and that they will leave it all in the ring at Crown Jewel.
Backstage, LA Knight is met by CM Punk. Knight tells CM Punk that if they have to do this, then Punk should try not to get pinned tonight.
CM Punk and LA Knight beat The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) after Punk hits Jey with the GTS only for Knight to tag himself in for the pin and the win.
It is announced that Naomi is not medically cleared to compete tonight and that her match with Iyo Sky is not happening tonight.
CM Punk heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Punk talks about how he became World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, yet feels he has let the fans down after Seth "Freakin'" Rollins cashed in on him, and if he was relentless and obsessed before, he is even more so now. He says that Rollins is following in his footsteps and pretending to be him and pretending to be injured, then tells Rollins that he will take his title back and that Rollins will be injured for real after he breaks his legs. Suddenly, LA Knight heads to the ring. Knight says that Punk was robbed and that he deserves to have his rematch beyond a shadow of a doubt, yet Punk got involved in his match last week and got him disqualified, costing him a title shot. He says that Punk was at the right place at the wrong time, and while he does want to have any problems with Punk and he wants Punk to whip Rollins' ass, he wants him to wait until after the bell rings. After Knight says Punk will get his rematch after he gets his, Punk reminds him that he saved his life and career from Rollins and that he has yet to claim he has been a world champion, and tells him to go to the back of the line. Knight says there is levels to this, and while Punk is best in the world, he is not on his level. Knight then does Punk two favors: forget last week happened as long as Punk does not do it again and beat Seth Rollins and become champion. then make Punk his first title defense. As Punk responds, Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker shows up, and Heyman briefly speaks French and makes fun of the language before telling LA Knight not to get into "the favor business" with CM Punk. Heyman tells Knight that doing so will cost him everything in his life and career, then Punk tells Heyman to stop being a crybaby and says somebody is getting punched in the face tonight, and he does not care if it is him, Breakker or Bronson. This gives Heyman an idea, and proposes CM Punk and LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed for tonight. Punk is up for the challenge, as is Knight. Breakker almost runs down the ramp, but Bronson hold him down as Breakker makes fun of Punk and Knight for being over 40.
Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) meet regarding the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up with El Grande Americano, who everyone else is surprised to see. Finn talks with Dominik, and Dominik says he wants to use Americano to his advantage at Triplemania.
"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano beat "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee when Dominik loads his mask with the metal plate after El Grande Americano drops the plate after getting kicked in the head by Styles.
In backstage footage form earlier today, Sami Zayn meets with General Manager Adam Pearce regarding a road to the World Heavyweight Championship. Sami says they will talk about it after tonight, then Sheamus shows up. Pearce says he cannot have a repeat of what happened between Sheamus and Rusev. Sami asks Sheamus not to get involved in his match with Rusev tonight. Sheamus agrees, but states that Rusev is his after the match is over.
Backstage, Iyo Sky meets with General Manager Adam Pearce, who says that he will keep her posted on her match with Naomi. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez show up, saying that Iyo does not have to worry about losing to Naomi again. This leads to Iyo challenging Roxanne to a match, which Pearce makes official.
Sami Zayn beats Rusev by disqualification after Solo Sikoa and his crew (Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo). After the match, Solo Sikoa and his crew continue to attack Sami Zayn, and security and officials have to run in and restore order. Meanwhile, Sheamus shows up and makes good on his promise to go after Rusev after the match with a pump knee, and when security goes after him, Sheamus levels them before he and Rusev brawl through the crowd.
Backstage, Solo Sikoa and his crew are booted out of the building, and Sheamus and Rusev are seperated. The New Day and Grayson Waller show up wanting revenge against Penta, and puts them in a match with Penta next week.
We hear from "Big" Bronson Reed, who beat Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and earned his respect enough to be part of "The Vision." He says he does not want Roman Reigns' respect, and says that when Roman mans him up to him again, he will keep adding to his shoe collection until he acknowledges his tribal thief.
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) want to be in Iyo Sky's corner for her match with Roxanne Perez. Roxanne says "thanks, but no thanks" and says she has this.
Roxanne Perez beats Iyo Sky after The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up as Raquel distracts the ref to hold down Roxanne only for Roxanne to escape, shovs Iyo into The Kabuki Warriors, then grab the tights on the schoolkid pin for the win.
Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews "Main Event" Jey Uso. Jey said he had to handle some family business last week, but he is back and some people are on notice. LA Knight shows up and says the line for the World Heavyweight title starts behind him, but Jey says he will send Knight to the back of the line.
Backstage, Asuka shoves Iyo Sky as they argue. Kairi Sane is conflicted before she catches up with Asuka.
Becky Lynch retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri by submission with the Dis-Arm-Her. After the match, Natalya checks on Maxxine only for Becky to boot her in the head.
Backstage, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins meets with The Vision (Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed). Rollins is overjoyed to have no problem now that CM Punk and LA Knight have to deal with Breakker and Bronson. He tells Breakker and Bronson to stack some bodies while he takes his leave.
We hear from Bayley. She says that she has been wrestling for 13 years, and that "The Role Model" was something that she was called before she saw herself as one, and now she feels that all she has done has led her to nothing.
Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Lyra Valkyria. Lyra hopes Bayley is okay, but states that she stands by what she has said and says that what is happening to Bayley has nothing to do with her.
Backstage, Iyo Sky is met by Stephanie Vaquer, who tells Iyo that she is not the only one who has been promised a title match. Stephanie leaves, then Rhea Ripley shows up. Iyo thinks Rhea is trying to drive a wedge between her and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) after Rhea says that The Kabuki Warriors cost her a victory tonight, and tells her to stay out of her business.
CM Punk and LA Knight beat "Big" Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker by disqualification after Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up and attacks CM Punk after Punk hits Breakker with a top rope elbow drop and before he can hit the GTS. After the match, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins goes on the attack on Punk when "Main Event" Jey Uso shows up with a metal folding chair and smashes Breakker with it. Bronson swats the chair away after Rollins escapes, but Jey fends Bronson off and hits him in the back with the chair. All of a sudden, General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and confronts Rollins for his actions before putting Rollins in a title defense at Clash in Paris against Jey Uso, LA Knight and CM Punk in a Fatal 4-Way Match. LA Knight and CM Punk then start fighting each other, and Jey Uso jumps in. Breakker gets back in the ring to hit Punk with a Spear, then Rollins, Breakker and Bronson clean house, with Jey eating a Tsunami. Bronson and Breakker then hold Punk down, and Rollins tells Punk that he will never be champion again for as long as he breathes before hitting him with a second Stomp.
