The roster of Evolve lines the ring as Evolve Prime Minster Stevie Turner makes an announcement. In front of Stevie is a table with two championship belts covered in their own individual mantles. She says that for over two months, the roster has been fighting to show their skill in order to one day make it to NXT, and in addition to those NXT dreams, the women will be fighting to become the WWE Evolve Women's Champion. The women's championship, which is then revealed, will be decided in just three weeks in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match. She then announces that while everyone has impressed her, three women have stood out: Kali Armstrong, Kendal Grey and Wendy Choo. She announces that there is one more spot up for grabs, and she wants one of the women to take it. As for the men, she reveals the WWE Evolve Championship, which will receive its first holder in four weeks' time. He says that Evolve is a portal to NXT and a new place where new things are happening, fresh faces are coming in, and spotlights are being shined on new talent, and nobody knows more about the spotlight than he does, which is why he is here right now. Suddenly, "Super" Sean Legacy shows up and welcomes King to Evolve, then tells him the fans decide who is a WWE Superstar and that he will not let King disrespect the locker room. He says that he thought he could get that closure by getting in the ring one more time, but he could not do it.He says that he thought he could get that closure by getting in the ring one more time, but he could not do it. Hangman says he did not know why, and since then, he took his anger out on anyone who got in his way, and that pushed everyone around him away. He then addresses entering the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and making his way into the finals. When Hangman mentions Will Ospreay, Ospreay shows up and apologizes, then mentions that this is the first time they have ever spoken to each other despite the locker rooms that they have shared. Brie and Artem watch Nikki dance with another man, and it becomes awkward for Artem, who decides to leave again. Nikki has to chase after Artem the second time around, and Brie catches up. Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for May 7, 2019
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up to start tonight's show. Styles admits he missed SmackDown Live, then mentions WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's recently adopted "Wild Card Rule" and says he wanted to be the first to crash the blue brand. Suddenly, Sami Zayn shows up and calls the Louisville, Kentucky fans "Kentucky Fried hillbillies" and showed up knowing that Styles would be here, and Styles stops him to tell him to take a shower. As Sami accuses Styles of deflection, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods show up, and Kofi tells them they can't have a party without them before reminding Styles that he does not live in SmackDown Live anymore and asking what Styles is doing here tonight. Styles says he decided to return the favor after Kofi showed up on Raw, and Kofi is about to confront Styles before Sami Zayn stops him from giving Styles a shot at the WWE Championship and tells him that the fans are not happy for him. Sami goes on to say that Kofi has fallen into the trap of constantly pleasing them by giving out title shots, and says that the only person deserving of a title shot is him, as the fans need a WWE Champion who tells them the truth whether they like it or not. Kofi and Xavier stop Sami to tell him he smells bad, and Kofi says he proved that his WrestleMania victory was not fluke before proclaiming that he is a fighting champion and that he wants to put the title on the line again tonight against either of them. Kofi then says it will not matter who he defends against, as he will still be WWE Champion.
We hear from Kevin Owens, who says that he is not here tonight because he does not feel like working on his birthday. He then says he will take the WWE Championship from Kofi Kingston at Money In The Bank.
We hear from Ali, who says that even if the light seems too far away, you must reach for it if you can see it and you must fight. He then says he plans to take back his opportunity at the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank.
Before the next match, Zelina Vega states that thousands of spectators will watch Money In The Bank to see thoroughbreds compete at their peak. Unlike the Kentucky Derby, however, there is only one thoroughbred, and it is Andrade. Andrade says that in less than two weeks, he will win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and become "El Senor Dinero en el Banco" while Ali will become envious of his success.
Ali vs. Andrade ends with Randy Orton showing up out of nowhere and attacking both men. Zelina Vega stops Orton's attack temporarily, and even as Ali fights Orton off, Orton hits a RKO on him before doing the same to Andrade.
We see a video package of Roman Reigns' WWE career highlights.
Shane McMahon shows up. He talks about The Miz's attack on him from last night, and calls Miz's actions lamentable, deplorable and disgusting before stating that Miz will not get the job done at Money In The Bank and that he will win the steel cage match. He then focuses on the tag team division, stating that the SmackDown tag team titles were vacated due to Lars Sullivan's attack on Jeff Hardy, then states that he scoured the roster to see who would be worthy of the team before deciding on "The New" Daniel Bryan and Rowan. Daniel Bryan and Rowan show up, but as Shane is about to hand them to the tag team titles, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) show up and invoke the Wild Card Rule before welcoming Bryan and Rowan to the Uso Penitentiary. They also state that the tag team titles have to be earned, not given, and that applies to everyone including themselves and Shane. The Usos then demand that the titles be put on the line. Shane states that he will enjoy seeing Daniel Bryan and Rowan sending The Usos back to Raw empty-handed, and that the tag team title match is official and happening right now.
We hear from Finn Balor, who is at home in Ireland. He says that the Money In The Bank Ladder Match is on his mind and that he will win the match and do something extraordinary: become the WWE and Universal Champion.
"The New" Daniel Bryan and Rowan beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) to win the vacant WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships!
Shane McMahon shows up again. As he talks about the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, he is suddenly attacked from behind The Miz, and he fights him all the way to the stage. Shane tries to beg The Miz off, but as Miz goes on the attack again, he is suddenly attacked by The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). Miz manages to fight them off, but he is smacked with a steel chair from behind by Shane.
Backstage, "The New" Daniel Bryan and Rowan are met by Heavy Machinery. Otis congratulates them, then Daniel Bryan shakes his head and he and Rowan walk away.
Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville beat Ember Moon and Carmella. After the match, Paige, Asuka and Kairi Sane show up. Paige says she has traded up from Mandy and Sonya, and says that Asuka and Kairi will tear through the women's tag team division starting with Mandy and Sonya.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Matt Hardy, who calls Jeff Hardy's injury a heartbreak moment and that Jeff has underwent surgery and will be back better than ever. R-Truth shows up and tells Matt that Lars Sullivan is vicious and unlike anyone else he has ever faced. Suddenly, Kayla runs away, and Matt and Truth are met by Sullivan, who overpowers them.
We hear from Aleister Black, who says that if anyone has been rejected by those whose whose affirmations should be instinctual, he sits before them as both their wrath and salvation. He then apologizes for his overcompensatory need to prevail at their expense, for they are the embodiment of the sins of which he speaks. Now that he has revealed this part of himself, he asks for forgiveness for his own sins that he will seek absolution for in the form of victory.
Kofi Kingston retains the WWE Championship against Sami Zayn and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. During the match, Kevin Owens attacks Xavier Woods, and this almost costs Kofi Kingston the match in the form of three Blue Thunder Bombs. Kofi kicks out of all three of them and hits Trouble In Paradise to counter a Helluva Kick to retain the title. After the match, Kofi Kingston states that Kevin Owens is not in his head and that there will be hell to pay for him.
Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!

Total Miz Island - Miz and Mrs. recap for May 7, 2019
Miz is taking French lessons on his computer when Maryse and Marjo jump in.
Marjo and Maryse make breakfast. Mike thinks is a front for Maryse and/or Marjo making a big snap decision he knows nothing about, and when he goes to the garage, he finds out that cardboard boxes have been properly broken down by Maryse. He thinks something is going in.
Mike is playing on a Street Fighter II cocktail table. There is a orange Post-It Note on it saying "Jeux Video," which is French for video game. Maryse has put it there - and more Post-It Notes on various things - to teach Miz the French word for various things. "Robinet" is faucet, "bois" is wood, and "cloche a gateau" is cake stand.
Maryse drops off Mike at the airport following a hilarious kiss goodbye.
At SmackDown Live in Newark, New Jersey, Mike finds a teddy bear in his bag, and he thinks that something weird is going on. When he squeezes the , he gets a message from Maryse in French. He uses the French translator on his phone to find out that it it Maryse being proud of him taking French. He then activates a motion detector in his house.
Mike plays video games with Xavier Woods for UpUpDownDown and gets soundly beaten. Afterwards, the motion detector app on his phone goes off, and he picks up a conversation between Maryse and Marjo in which he believes he hears the word "enceinte," which means "pregnant," and almost immediately thinks Maryse is having another baby.
Back home at Castle Marmiz, Mike finds out that Monroe Sky is growing her first tooth. Maryse proposes they go for a romantic dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Mike decides to try his French skills to ask Maryse if he can buy her a drink, but Maryse responds in French before telling him in English that she is trying to be healthy. Mike is convinced that Maryse is having another baby after Maryse and Marjo's strange behavior, Maryse not having a cocktail at dinner and clothes that would fit only a newborn.
Mike tells George and Barbara that Maryse is pregnant, and that she wants to surprise Maryse before she surprises her. The three of them buy new baby clothes and maternity clothes for Maryse.
At the Fonda San Miguel Mexican restaurant in Austin, Mike finds out that Maryse is not pregnant after all. Maryse tells him that he got the word "enciente" confused with "ancien" (ancient), and that Maryse was saying in French that she felt tired while sarcastically saying she must be old. Also, the newborn clothes are for a baby shower for Maryse's friend Kim, who is having a boy. Mike finds out that Marjo and Maryse's sudden change in behavior is due to the anniversary of their first date - which they spent at a porn shop - coming up and due to Mike learning French. Nevertheless, Mike, Mike's parents and Maryse celebrate with the gifts and a mariachi band anyway.
Bonus clip: Renee Young tells Miz about the foreign-language program that WWE has on offer, which leads to how tonight's episode began.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 7, 2018
General Manager Kurt Angle shows up to start tonight's show. Angle welcomes everyone to the show, and is proud to be part of the WWE family for 20 years. He says that unlike other forms of entertainment, WWE never stops, and after some big events in the last few weeks, they are just getting started. Angle then announces that at Money In The Bank, there will two Money In The Bank Matches: one for the men and one for the women, and both matches will be co-branded. He then says that tonight, there will be two qualifying matches for these matches. The first will be Ember Moon vs. Ruby Riott vs. Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat Match, and the other will be a Triple Threat Match between Roman Reigns, Finn Balor and Sami Zayn. Suddenly, Braun Strowman shows up. Braun Strowman talks about a time where his friends built a treehouse without his help just to start their own club, and he waited for all of them to get in the treehouse to knock the whole tree down. Angle admits that Strowman has been on a roll lately, and that if anybody deserves a shot at the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, it is him. Suddenly, Kevin Owens shows up. Owens says that if anyone deserves to be in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, it is him, and even though he has been on the red brand for a few weeks, he is the MVP as people chant his name and he is part of highly rated segments, as well as a team player. He then says he plays by the rules, unlike Strowman, who pinned the wrong man last week. He then says the decision from Backlash should be reversed and that he is the one on the roll, not Strowman. He says he should automatically be in the match. Owens says the only thing Strowman deserves is a giant sit in the corner for being a bad monster. Angle says he can't do that, but he does say that Strowman will get a qualifying match. Owens keeps arguing, but Strowman says all Owens deserves is to get these hands. Owens says that Angle will have to make a very smart decision, and that said very smart decision will be him automatically entering the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, as Commissioner Stephanie McMahon will be watching. Angle says that Strowman will be getting his Money In The Bank qualifying match tonight, and that his opponent will be Owens. Also, that match will happen right now.
Braun Strowman beats Kevin Owens to qualify for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
In the locker room, Mike Rome interviews Roman Reigns, who says his mindset is that he is the uncrowned Universal Champion and that WWE doesn't seem to agree with him. He may not be able to control backstage politics, but he can control what happens in the ring, and he has made a career out of silencing the hate. Tonight, he would not want to be Sami Zayn or Finn Balor, as he is pissed off and he is ready to dominate the yard and win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match to take full control of his destiny and win the WWE Universal Championship.
We hear from Bayley, who cannot think of anything better than climbing up the ladder and taking the Money In The Bank Contract. Breezango are also interested in getting the contract, even if they are not in agreement as to what is in the briefcase or how to get it.
Backstage, General Manager Kurt Angle is met by Goldust, who wants the opportunity to qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Suddenly, Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh show up, demanding a shot at the match as well after complaining about Roman Reigns getting one. Angle says Jinder deserves nothing as he has not won at all on Raw. He then tells Jinder he has a rematch with Chad Gable, and if he puts on a good showing, he may get his shot at Money In The Bank. After Goldust quotes the move All About Eve, he leaves.
Baron Corbin and The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat Titus Worldwide (Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews) and No Way Jose.
Ember Moon beats Sasha Banks and Ruby Riott to qualify for the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after Bayley runs in to save Sasha from Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Ember Moon, who says she is over the moon, and that is not accepting limits placed on her by others and rising to the challenge. She says that this is only the beginning, and she plans to take the Money In The Bank contract.
We see a video package of Bobby Lashley's beginnings in amateur wrestling, his meeting with Kurt Angle and his accomplishments in WWE.
Renee Young interviews Bobby Lashley. Lashley says he is blessed, as he had a great, close family. Lashley talks about some of the crazy antics he had with his sisters. He then says he now has an extended family in the WWE Universe, and tells his sisters that he loves them.
In the locker room, Sami Zayn tells Kevin Owens there is a cloud of conspiracy above what should be their parade of triumph. Owens is irritated Sami has a shot at the Money In The Bank Ladder Match as well as what happened last night, but Sami says they should seize power. Sami apologizes for what happened last night, but he says neither of them will be sorry if they do not get the Universal Championship in their possession. Sami asks Owens if he has his back, and Owens hesitantly says "yes."
Jinder Mahal beats Chad Gable, finally getting his first victory on the Raw brand. After the match, Sunil Singh chastises Chad Gable. Gable pushes him out of the ring, but Jinder Mahal goes after Gable and proceeds to attack him again.
We hear from Alexa Bliss, who says that just because you're bullied, you cannot accomplish your dreams. She plans to take the Money In The Bank contract and cash in on Nia Jax to prove dreams can come true. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) say that they will rise their way to a Money In The Bank contract and bring back the wasteland.
General Manager Kurt Angle is met by Zack Ryder, who wants to qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match in his hometown. Suddenly, Jinder Mahal shows up, demanding he be placed in the Triple Threat Money In The Bank Qualifying Match, making it a Fatal 4-Way. Angle tells Jinder that this is not happening. An angry Jinder leaves, then Ryder and Angle fistbump.
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre beat Heath Slater and Rhyno.
We look back on Titus O'Neil's trip on the way to the ring during Greatest Royal Rumble, courtesy of Progressive auto insurance.
Elias is in the ring. He says he knows so many truth, and there is no truth more apparent than the truth that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias." He says that he is on a different planet than everyone else, as he was interrupted by pancakes, conga lines and "that glorious fraud" Bobby Roode. He then calls Billy Joel "a talentless, boring hack" and says that if Roode wants to interrupt him again, he will rip out his vocal chords, then go on to win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. He then says Rusev Day has nothing on him before telling everyone to shut up. Elias then proceeds to play guitar and sing about Bobby Roode, but he is interrupted after he sings that even if the Islanders were brought back, Long Island, New York would still suck.
Bobby Roode beats Elias. After the match, Charly Caruso interviews Bobby Roode. Roode says feeling great is an understatement, as he is hoping to be next in line for a Money In The Bank Ladder Match opportunity, which he says will be absolutely glorious.
Seth Rollins shows up. Rollins says he is feeling really good right now, and that last night, The Miz took him to the limit. In the end, he stomped down his dream of becoming a nine-time WWE Intercontinental Championship, and he still stands as champion. He says that if there is one thing to learn from The Miz, it is the kind of champion he does not want to be. Seth says he wants to be a fighting champion, and while Money In The Bank is a hot topic and he knows how winning it can change your life, he wants to make the Intercontinental Championship the most important title on Raw. He decides to do this by issuing an open challenge for the title right now. That open challenge is answered by Mojo Rawley, who says this is the Raw debut that he deserves, for when opportunity knocks, he knocks people down. He plans to do exactly that to Rollins just like he did Zack Ryder and take the Intercontinental Championship, then qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and win the contract, as Mondays will be "Monday Night Rawley." Seth responds by saying that if he wants the Intercontinental Championship, all he has to do is get in the ring and get his ass kicked.

Owens is irritated Sami has a shot at the Money In The Bank Ladder Match as well as what happened last night, but Sami says they should seize power. He says that he is on a different planet than everyone else, as he was interrupted by pancakes, conga lines and "that glorious fraud" Bobby Roode.
