Collision Course - Collision recap for February 28, 2026

MJF heads to the ring to start tonight's show. He takes the show hostages, stating that it will not start until Revolution is rectified and that he is a real professional wrestler and the best wrestler on the planet today and not some "deathmatch indie bum." He demands Tony Khan show up and change the stipulation for his match, stating that he will not take part in a Texas Death Match. "The Jet" Kevin Knight shows up and says that he has been getting the job done in the past few weeks, including when he kept him from fleeing to the back earlier this week with a two-headed coin. He then says that he will shut MJF's mouth tonight as he calls him "a crybaby bitch," and says that people are sick and tired of hearing his "better than you" routine and calls his scarf fake, saying that he is not just more attractive than MJF, but a better world champion. Knight says that he is the here and now and not the future, then MJF calls him an "ignorant, arrogant child" for telling him how to do his job before challenging him on next week's Dynamite with the AEW World Championship on the line. He then says that Knight is not the now or the future, and that all he will be is history when he is done with him.

We see a video package for Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal later tonight.

Jon Moxley guests on commentary for the next match.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia) beat The Don Callis Family (Trent Beretta, Rocky "Azucar" Romero, Lance Archer, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) in an eight-man tag match. We hear from The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee), who talk about their AEW debut at Grand Slam Australia before calling what The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) did that night as unprofessional. They challenge The Brawling Birds to a match on next week's Dynamite and give them the option to step up, step back or step aside.

He dares anyone who wants to step up to them to do just that when JetSpeed ("The Jet" Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) show up. Speedball reminds Fletcher that he beat him in the Continental Classic while Knight did the same to Okada. Knight says that "the math isn't really mathin'" with Protokada, but Okada says they have yet to beat them as a team. Knight likes the idea of a tag team contest, and states that he would love to defend the AEW World Championship against Okada after he beats MJF next week. Speedball says he would love to beat Fletcher for his "cow udder pink" TNT Championship and proposes that they and "Hangman" Adam Page defend the AEW World Trios Championships against Protokada and whoever else they choose to team with, then Knight says that no matter what, the results will be the same with Jet Set Rodeo on top.

Hook says that he knows Bowens, but says that this is business, and he wants to know if Bowens can fit into The Opps, as it is full of killers. He says he will think about it, and asks Bowens to think about what he said.

Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa beat Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue). After the match, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla shows up and says if there is one thing she cannot stand, it is not one, but two "dumb bitches." She says that Thunder Rosa is not ready to get toxic, and tells Statlander to tell Thunder Rosa how she made her cry and bleed before taking the Women's World Championship from her. Thekla says she does not fight to win, but to kill, and tells Thunder Rosa to retire already before calling her and Statlander "the past of the women's division," as the women's division now belongs to her.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Andrade el Idolo beats Tomohiro Ishii. After the match, Bandido shows up, and when he offers his hand to Andrade, Andrade spits his gum at it instead before the two of them point at the Revolution poster on the ceiling to end the show.

During the match, Don Callis distracts referee Aubrey Edwards as Hangman goes for a Buckshot Lariat. Three-time award winning musical artists Speed are seen in the crowd.

Orange Cassidy and "Timeless" Toni Storm beat The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and "The Problem" Marina Shafir) in a hair vs. hair match. He tells Darby that he cannot move on after Darby beat him at Worlds End, and that this will not stop until Darby is pushing up daisies. Gabe Kidd promises to follow Darby to the ends of the earth until it is written that he has ended Darby Allin.

Moxley says he knows what motivates Takeshita, stating that Takeshita beat him in the Continental Classic and that he wants to beat him the next time. He says that Takeshita must beat him alone and that he knows what that is going to take.

Orange Cassidy and "Timeless" Toni Storm beat Gino Medina and Lady Bird Monroe. After the match, Orange is attacked from behind by Wheeler Yuta. When Toni slaps Yuta in the face, she is attacked by Marina Shafir. Shafir makes quick work of Toni before she and Yuta gang up on Orange Cassidy. Wheeler Yuta then holds a mock interview with Orange Cassidy, saying that he has spread a lot of lies about him, and now that he has thoroughly kicked his ass to the fans' chagrin. Orange makes fun of Yuta's "garbage" hair, and Yuta attacks him again. Yuta finds the medical attendant's bag and pulls out a pair of scissors, but Toni Storm gets up and suplexes Shafir before wrestling the scissors out of Yuta's hands, causing Yuta to flee. Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Tommaso Ciampa, who is with his wife and daughter Willow, the latter of whom are on-screen briefly. Ciampa says this was not possible without his family by his side, and ever since he joined AEW, the fans have welcomed him as part of their family. He then hears the championship talking to him, says "I love you, too," then catches up with his family before telling the fans that they will do something special together now that he is TNT Champion.

The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) retain the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships against Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue). MVP guests on commentary for the next match.

Willow expects Mercedes Moné to have something to say and invites Mercedes to the party, and Mercedes shows up dressed in what looks like white funeral clothes. Willow says that there is plenty of celebrate, especially for Mercedes' incredible year in 2025, then celebrates having to dig down deep to become TBS Champion again. Mercedes takes her hat off, revealing disheveled hair and an angry mood as she topples the table and all the food on it. This gets her shoved face-first into cake again, and Willow hits Mercedes with a Doctor Bomb on the cake. The celebration ends with Renee, Statlander, Harley and Willow in a congo line.

MJF goes on to mention the Dynamite Diamond Rings that he has won, then says that the Dynamite Diamond Ring on Bandido's finger does not belong to him and that if Bandido hands it to him, they can forego the AEW World Championship match. Jon Cruz tries to translate, but Bandido stops him and tells MJF "I can speak English, you stupid son of a bitch!" MJF kicks Bandido in the groin, takes Bandido's ring, and tries to knock Bandido out when Jon Cruz holds Bandido up only for Bandido to duck and Jon Cruz to get struck instead. Darby shows up wanting the match, refusing to take no for an answer, but PAC tells him to jog on. Stokely says that he and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) have had an epiphany that being in front of the camera makes everybody think they are great and worthy of winning a championship, and next week, The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn) will get that opportunity. He then says that FTR will cure them of their addiction and send them to the back of the line where they belong.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey gets an upset win on "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher by pinfall with a modified roll-up in the Gold League of the Continental Classic. "Speedball" Mike Bailey earns his first three points, while "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher still has six points.

6-Year Anniversary - Dynamite recap for October 1, 2025

In footage from earlier today, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) celebrate AEW Dynamite's six-year annivesary at a Hard Rock Café and Casino. Matthew says he has an idea for tonight's ring introduction, while Nicholas is ready to gamble and double his money. After Nicholas finds the high limit slots, we then see him outside of the building near a dumpster, having gambled away all the money in his bag. Matthew mentions his idea for the entrance, then finds out that Nicholas gambled all the money. The screen then transitions to The Young Bucks in the ring, with their chyron calling them "The Broke Bucks" with a message above saying "Account balance: $0.00."

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Kenny Omega and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) beat "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) in a trios match. After the match, Kenny Omega tries to bury the hatchet with The Young Bucks, but he is superkicked in the head by Josh Alexander. All of a sudden, Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) shows up, and The Young Bucks are easily overpowered. Alexander tries to fight them, but he gets double-teamed by Jack Perry and Kenny Omega, who then gets upset with Jack Perry. Jack Perry and Kenny Omega get in a physical argument, but Jack Perry goes after The Young Bucks again with a tope suicida, and Luchasaurus joins him as they take the brawl to the back. Omega then says it has been six years and that he has been here since day one, and while he has seen the highest of highs and lowest of lows, he takes pride in the journey itself. He says that friends have been gained and lost along the way, but everyone has shared the experience and he is a better man because of it before looking forward to what happens next. The lights go out, and when they come back on, Omega is suddenly attacked from behind by Andrade el Idolo, who has just returned from WWE. Don Callis gets in the ring and shakes hands with Andrade before raising his hand.

We see a video package showing some of the best moments of Dynamite's six-year history.

Backstage, we hear from Mark Briscoe, who says that tonight is a time of celebration as well as reflection not only for AEW but for himself, as his life has been consumed by MJF for the last six months. He now knows that MJF is all talk and that he told him specifically not to mention Jay Briscoe's name, but he did it more than once, and he showed him that his words have consequences. As for winning the big one, he won big enough to send MJF on a sabbatical, but when it comes to winning championship gold, it is only because of MJF costing him a TNT title shot that he cannot do that. With Hologram injured, it is now up to Orange Cassidy to be champion. Briscoe says that unlike MJF, he can be unselfish and celebrate with his friends, and when Orange Cassidy wins the TNT Championship, he will celebrate with Orange while MJF sits on the couch picking tacks out of his body.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher retains the TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy after Don Callis distracts Orange Cassidy only for Hologram to scare Don Callis off just so he can trip Orange off the top turnbuckle, allowing Fletcher to hit Orange with a brainbuster into the top turnbuckler to retain the title. After the match, Fletcher and Hologram beat up on Orange, but Mark Briscoe and Paragon chase them off. The rest of The Don Callis Family then shows up, and Hologram unmasks to reveal that he looks like Hologram, but is clad in all black and has tattoos, revealing himself to be the evil Hologram clone. The lights then go haywire, even turning red at times.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mercedes Moné. Mercedes states that next week on Title Tuesday, she will put the TBS Championship on the line against someone local from the state of Florida and make history yet again while approaching the longest TBS title reign in history. She also knows what it takes to be a tag team partner, and is soon approached by Harley Cameron and Mini Moné. Harley thinks they have excellent chemistry, and while Mini Moné agrees, Mercedes says that every time they team up, she loses. Mercedes leaves, and Mini Moné thinks Mercedes is playing hard to get.

"Hangman" Adam Page and The Opps (Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs) beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia) in a trios match. After the match, Samoa Joe suddenly argues with "Hangman" Adam Page, saying that Hangman has never beaten him, and security has to step in before things get worse. That does not stop Joe from hitting Hangman with a cheap shot, and security has to get into place before Joe leaves with Hobbs.

We hear from Willow Nightingale and JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight). Kevin Knight wants to challenge one of the members of FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) one-on-one, and Willow says she will be in Knight's corner. Meanwhile, Big Stoke accepts the challenge, but Knight will not know who he will face until the match happens.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page. Hangman admits that he thought that Samoa Joe was angry at him when he dropped his title when he handed it to him, then mentions Joe saying he never beat him. Hangman says he is champion thanks to Joe's help, and if Joe wants a title match, he will get one at WrestleDream. He says that he respects Joe, but if Joe throws another fit towards him again, he will ruin his life.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Tay Melo. During the match, it is announced that next week's episode will be Title Tuesday and will air on Tuesday at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. After the match, Toni talks about she stared in awe at Kris Statlander at All Out when she became a glorious champion, and when she went to the back, she wondered who she was without the Women's World Championship. Toni tells Statlander that she is not finished with her and wants a one-on-one match with her, then tells Statlander to name the time and place. Before she says that she is timeless, however, Toni stops short of doing just that.

We see a video package for Eddie Kingston vs. Dralistico on Collision, which has an early start time this week of 7 PM Eastern/4 PM Pacific.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs. Joe questions if he and "Hangman" Adam Page and that he has been so focused on The Death Riders that he has forgotten who he is. He says that Hangman has never been greater than him, and says that while Hangman is "cowboy shit," he is about to introduce him to "a world of deep shit."

Ricochet guests on commentary for the next match.

Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) beat The Swirl ("Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian and Lee Johnson). After the match, Ricochet hits the Spirit Gun on Blake Christian with help from Gates of Agony, then The Hurt Syndicate show up. MVP asks if anyone from Florida is in the crowd, and that leads to an "MVP" chant before admitting he embarrassed himself at All Out and states that he owes an apology to the fans as well as Shelton and Lashley for allowing The Demand (Ricochet, Kaun, Toa Liona) to beat him. MVP feels that he may have lost a step and may not be the wrestler that he used to be, but he can still fight better than The Demand can. He says he does not want to wrestle; instead, he wants a no-disqualification street fight. MVP wants to know if The Demand will meet them in a street fight, and after the fans want it, Ricochet accepts the challenge.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kris Statlander, who says that after six years, she and "Timeless" Toni Storm have never went one-on-one. Statlander accepts Toni's challenge for WrestleDream, then Harley Cameron shows up and approves of the match.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Don Callis, "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Callis says The Don Callis Family goes to the next level when it seems they are down and out, and while he took out Kenny Omega, Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) escaped him. He wants Brodido to face Okada and Takeshita in a tag team match next week. Takeshita is reluctant, but Okada wants the match.

Darby Allin and Kris Statlander beat The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir) in a Tornado Tag Match after Yuta inadvertently blinds Shafir with powder following Shafir going feet-first into thumbtacks, causing Shafir to put Yuta in a sleeper hold before Statlander and Darby get the win. After the match, "Timeless" Toni Storm shows up, and she and Statlander have a staredown followed by a slugfest that security has to stop. As this goes on, Darby whips Wheeler Yuta with a studded leather belt until PAC shows up and attacks Darby. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia show up as PAC chokes Darby with the belt, and Moxley tells Darby that at WrestleDream, he will have zero chance of doing what it will take to win. He says that at WrestleDream, Darby will say "I quit." PAC then hits Darby with a running clothesline to end the show.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson is now a member of the commentary team. Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander after fending off Lance Archer and Rocky "Azucar" Romero as Don Callis distracts the referee. After the match, Hangman says he did not spill a gallon of his blood to win the AEW World Championship only to have MJF change the stipulations of his matches and have every opponent have someone like Don Callis with them. He says the most important word of "All Elite Wrestling" is "wrestling," which is what he plans to do as AEW World Champion. Suddenly, Don Callis returns with "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher says Hangman's sentiment is lovely, but says it does not matter, for while Hangman holds the title, The Don Callis Family runs AEW. He also mentions that he is awaiting an answer to his proposal. Hangman says Fletcher is lucky after what he did last week, and says that if he wants to speak to him, then he needs to get in the ring and look him in the eyes as he does it. Callis allows Fletcher to enter the ring, and Hangman tells Fletcher that he sees potential in him, yet he cannot put on his socks. He also admits that above all else, he sees himself six years ago standing across the ring from Chris Jericho hoping to be World Champion, but after last week, he is not ready. Fletcher says he has heard this all before and that he decides when his prime is, saying it begins right now and will continue for as long as he pleases. He says he is ready to be a World Champion right now. Hangman tells Fletcher that if he truly wants this, he will give him a shot at the AEW World Championship at All Out. At the same time, he must do it himself and earn it, leave Don Callis behind, and find some socks. Fletcher says he does not need anyone to beat him, and while it will be man-to-man at All Out, he will be leaving with the AEW World Championship and will not fail like Hangman has before.

Willow says that she and Statlander will never be friends again, and tells Harley to be careful who she is friends with and to watch her back.

"Sausage Rolls" gets a "Daddy Cool"-style chant from the fans. He says that he has grown up in front of the fans and thanks them for their support over the years, then announces that he has not been medically cleared for Forbidden Door, then says he will take this in his own hands. He says that the Lights Out Steel Cage Match is unsanctioned and that anything that happens to him is on him and not AEW, then says he is aware of the risks and is comfortable taking them as AEW means so much for him. Ospreay says that if there is not even a small chance that he can wrestle again after Sunday, then he is leaving everything in the ring, for he is doing this for revenge and he and his team will tear The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Gabe Kidd) apart. Copeland has to stop Christian from doing his full "Shut your mouths while I am conducting business" and chalks him still doing it up to being an asshole, then says sometimes one needs an asshole and that Christian is his asshole. Christian says he has taken time to actually find himself and found that he does not need to change and that he is perfect just the way that he is. He admits that he and Copeland are not on the same page by a long shot, but at this point, they are writing in the same book, and while some people were expecting a happy reunion, this reunion is one made out of necessity. Christian says that Copeland is helping him with his problems while he helps Copeland with his problems, and while he cannot promise anything beyond that, this version of himself will still be the best tag team partner Copeland ever had. As Copeland and Christian shake hands, Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne show up. Sabian accuses Christian of pandering for the fans that he despised, and Mother Wayne points at the video screen and a message from "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne. Nick Wayne says Christian came out to save his old friend Copeland, and while Christian did not take his head off, he broke his life, which saved his life for the time being, and took Forbidden Door from him. He says that he would have turned a reunion into a farewell tour at Forbidden Door and taken their careers from them, and says that while it is a blessing in disguise he will not be there, he warns that he is always one step ahead. "Hangman" Adam Page heads to the ring. Hangman talks about how he was jumped from behind in the parking lot by MJF, as he handles things in a back-stabbing, underhanded way. He says MJF cannot handle anything head-on because he does not have the balls to do it. Hangman says that calling MJF out to beat him up a few days early is a waste of time due to MJF being an insecure and gutless coward, then says there will be nothing underhanded or back-stabbing at Forbidden Door when he shoves his boot up MJF's ass. MJF's music hits, but MJF fails to show, and Tony Schiavone tells Hangman that MJF is backstage and that if Hangman leaves the ring before finishes, something bad is going to happen. MJF appears on the video screen, states that Hangman is at his most vulnerable when he is angry, and reveals that he, Ricochet and Gates of Agony have kidnapped Mark Briscoe. MJF requests three things in exchange for Briscoe, and if he rejects any of them, he will set Briscoe on fire. MJF demands a title change by disqualification, a title change by count-out, and demands that he does not have to use his Casino Gauntlet Contract to face Hangman at Forbidden Door. He then gives Hangman until the count of five, and Hangman is forced to give MJF what he wants. After MJF thanks Hangman, Hangman heads to the back with a metal folding chair. After the commercial break, "Hangman" Adam Page finds Ricochet and hits him in the back with the metal folding chair, demanding MJF's location. Security jumps in, and one member says MJF has left. As Mark Briscoe wants to know where MJF is at, Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) arrive, and Ricochet says Briscoe should be more worried about him, especially after what he did to him at Revolution. Briscoe says he has become a different animal since Revolution and that he will whip his ass, then says it is a fraction of what he will do to MJF. Ricochet calls Briscoe a loser as he says he will see him later tonight.

Backstage, MJF tries to meet with The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) and gets Shelton Benjamin. MJF apologizes, but Shelton tells him that MVP is not here because he is disgusted with him, then Shelton reveals that the watch MJF gave Lashley is "from Temu." Shelton says that the only reason MJF did not get laid out is because MVP stuck his neck out for him, then tells MJF to take his fake watch and leave and that he is out of The Hurt Syndicate.

Tony Schiavone introduces Christian Cage to the ring. On the subject of being told by Adam Copeland to go find himself, Christian Cage says that he is an asshole who is numb to the world and everything in it and that he was only obsessed with being AEW World Champion. He says that after he cashed in and hit the perfect Spear, he came into contact with his past, became "an asshole with feeling," and it cost him everything. Christian says that while he has no problem with Kip Sabian and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne standing up to him, they have not earned the right to question him, for he has done more in the business than they have in their entire careers. He says he took a risk and deviated from the plan because he did not think The Patriarchy (Wayne, Sabian, Mother Wayne) would pull the plan off, and states that they know nothing about risk after they rode off his coattails as he did everything that he did. Christian says he has also heard what Copeland has said to him, then asks if what he said to him was really that bad, as he himself was an opportunist who did unsavory things to get to the top. He then tells Copeland that they are so different, yet somehow, they are the same. As for The Patriarchy, they embarrassed him at All In and decided they did not need a patriarch before making some innuendos regarding Mother Wayne. As for Nick Wayne, he asks him how it will go when he has to show up and actually fight, for he has answered the bell for the things he has said. He says that Nick Wayne had more talent than he did and that he protected him from everything, and while Nick Wayne has every tool to be the new face of AEW now and forever, he will have to go through him to do it. Christian then tells Nick Wayne that he has a father who is dead and a father who is dead to him, and officially disowns Nick Wayne. On the way out, Mother Wayne shows up and tries to slap Christian Cage, but it serves as a distraction for Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian to ambush Christian. Nick Wayne disowns Christian in turn before he and Sabian clap metal folding chairs into both sides of Christian's head.

Backstage, we hear from FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway. Stokely says Adam Copeland is banned from the building tonight after his recent action, and that The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) committed "an act of cowardice." He also addresses The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn), saying they are good, but they are not FTR. Suddenly, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) show up, and FTR puts their past beef behind them as they hope to see them in the finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament. Stokely tries to make The Young Bucks flinch as FTR leaves.

"Hangman" Adam Page retains the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley in a match where everyone is banned from ringside. During the match, Hangman accidentally knocks referee Paul Turner down with Moxley's feet as he spins Moxley around for Deadeye. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta show up. As security deals with them, Marina Shafir hands the AEW World Championship to Moxley, who hits Hangman in the head with the title only for Hangman to kick out. Paul Turner sees Marina Shafir and removes her from ringside, and when security confronts her, Shafir has to be held back by Claudio as she apologizes to Moxley while fending security off. As security does their job, Darby Allin shows up and takes out Claudio, Yuta, Shafir and all of security with a dive off a balcony. Hangman hits a distracted Moxley with a Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley escapes Deadeye and goes for a sleeper. Hangman counters the sleeper with a Deadeye, then hits another Buckshot Lariat to win and retain.

Athena and Billie Starkz beat "Timeless" Toni Storm and Alex Windsor after Athena tags herself in to hit Toni with the Oh! Face.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page when MJF shows up and confronts him for calling him a coward, stating that Hangman is the real coward for refusing to face him unless it is on his terms. MJF brings up Swerve Strickland to try to coerce a title shot out of Hangman, but Hangman is not having this and tells MJF that he will have to face Mark Briscoe to get to him before stating there is nothing to stop him from beating MJF's ass.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Willow Nightingale, who says that she has a match with "The Toxic Spider" Thekla tomorrow night on Collision.

Mark Briscoe beats Ricochet. During the match, Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) show up, and as they get involved in the match, Bandido and Brody King show up to take them out so that Briscoe can get the win. After the match, Mark Briscoe says tonight is just getting started before calling out MJF for evoking Jay Briscoe's name more than once, then says he has never felt like this before and that he needs help. He says that if he kills MJF in cold blood, he will not see his brother in Heaven, for he will not repent and he will not even feel the slightest bit of remorse. Briscoe tells MJF to make his day and face him in the ring right here and right now. MJF's entrance theme hits, but MJF shows up on the video screen. MJF says he is not an idiot and that he considers Briscoe a waste of his time, and that next week, he will face Briscoe to get to "Hangman" Adam Page. He then says this assumes that Mark Briscoe makes it, and MJF suddenly shows up from behind Briscoe and kicks him in the groin and attacks him before asking who the real coward is. MJF puts on the Dynamite Diamond Ring, then "Hangman" Adam Page shows up. MJF rushes out of the ring to avoid both a Buckshot Lariat and a Jay Driller.

MJF shows up and tells Hangman that he will beat him for the World Championship, but Hangman says that will not happen unless he cashes in his Casino Gauntlet Match contract because MJF is a gutless coward.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Wheeler Yuta. After the match, Hangman grabs a metal chain, wraps it around his right hand, and punches Wheeler Yuta repeatedly with it. Hangman then chokes out Yuta - whose forehead is now busted open - and asks Yuta if he sees what he has made him do and tells him that nobody is coming to save him. He then spares Yuta and leaves.

Backstage, we hear from Athena and Billie Starkz. Billie says that Toni Storm cannot touch Athena in the ring, and Athena tells Billie to take Toni out so that she can take the AEW Women's World Championship that should be hers.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "The Jet" Kevin Knight to advance in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament Match after Dax grabs onto Stokely Hathaway's crutch for leverage as he sits down on a Victory Roll attempt by Kevin Knight. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews FTR and Stokely. Stokely says Adam Copeland belongs in prison. He says that he is not a professional wrestling and that Copeland had no business putting his hands on him before proceeding to call Copeland "a cancer on AEW" before Copeland shows up. Copeland tells Stokely that even though he cannot approach Stokely and FTR, he has made a business agreement with some gentlemen whose business is hurting people: The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin). Lashley and Shelton get in the ring with FTR and brawl, and officials and security have to rush out to restore order. Copeland goes for Stokely in the ring, but Stokely uses a security guard as a human shield and escapes.

We hear from Kip Sabian, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, and Mother Wayne. The three of them agree it is time, and Nick Wayne says they will back up their words from last week physically. Nick Wayne says that starting Saturday, they will show exactly what they are capable of when "un-Caged."

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that "Hangman" Adam Page fought the fight and dug down deep at All In Texas. He says that even he can celebrate this, and while he lost the match, he is ready to go for a rematch. He says a mistake was made, and he will fix it one way or another.

Will Ospreay heads to the ring. Ospreay wishes he was wrestling tonight, then says he has been struggling with his neck for ten months. He says he has made promises to Swerve Strickland, "Hangman" Adam Page and the fans, and while the sacrifice was made, the world title is back. He says that after what happened at All In, he found out that two discs have been affected; thankfully, it is treatable, and all going well, he should be back for Forbidden Door. Ospreay thanks Swerve and says it was an honor to fight by Hangman's side and that he looks forward to a rematch, then warns The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) that he is coming for them as soon as he is healthy. Ospreay and Swerve embrace as soon as Ospreay makes his way up the ramp.

We see a vignette for Julia Hart, Skye Blue and "The Toxic Spider" Thekla, who promise to go through the whole women's roster.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale, who says that there is a sense of renewal in the air after All In Texas. She says she had "The Toxic Spider" Thekla beaten recently, then says that Thekla can find her in the ring.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin). MJF shows up, confused that they are now allied with Adam Copeland, but MVP says they made a business arrangement. MJF wants to know how this will get the World Championship around his waist, and Lashley makes it very clear to MJF that they are not his lackeys and that he wants him out of The Hurt Syndicate. Shelton and MVP are just as disappointed in MJF.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Billie Starkz by submission with the TCM Chickenwing in an AEW World Women's Championship Eliminator Match. Athena is seen watching from the balcony throughout the match. After the match, Billie Starkz hits Toni Storm with the AEW Women's World Championship, then tells Athena to come down to the ring to cash in Toni Storm. Starkz throws referee Aubrey Edwards out of the ring before Athena hits Toni with her clipboard. Starkz then throws referee Aubrey Edwards back into the ring so that Athena can cash in, but Alex Windsor shows up, dodges Starkz and attacks Athena. When Starkz gets back in the ring, Windsor fends her off, too.

Don Callis introduces Hechicero before guesting on commentary for the next match.

Swerve Strickland beats Hechicero by disqualification after Swerve is attacked by Lance Archer. After the match, Brody King and Bandido show up and fight both Hechicero and Lance Archer all the way to the back, then Swerve is attacked from behind with a metal folding chair by "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Okada goes for a piledriver, but Swerve blocks it and wraps the chair around Okada's neck only for Don Callis and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander to save Okada.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Ricochet and Gates of Agony brag about their recent victories, then Ricochet says they will invest their recently earned $200,000 into their quest for gold and that everyone will either respect or fear them.

MJF heads to the ring. MJF says he does not need Bobby Lashley to get the AEW World Championship back, and says that "Hangman" Adam Page is the real coward for not wanting to wrestle him unless he cashes in his Casino Gauntlet Match contract. After MJF states that he will wrestle and beat Hangman fair and square for the AEW World Championship, Mark Briscoe shows up and says that while he wants to shove the microphone up MJF's ass, he has kids to feed. He says that "that opportunistic bastard" MJF stole the Casino Gauntlet Match win from him before challenging him to a match next week, which MJF declines, declaring that Briscoe loses when the pressure is on while he wins. MJF states that he is the most complete professional wrestler in the world today and tells Briscoe that he sucks and is "white trash" just like the fans in the Midwest, who cannot get enough of Briscoe because of how he entertains them. He then states that not even his biggest fans think Briscoe is a "top guy" or anywhere near his level, and calls him "a joke" and a clown who is brought out for cheap laughs, stating that he is not respected or feared like Jay Briscoe. MJF says that he cannot see how Mark Briscoe looks in the mirror thinking anyone will respect him as much as his brother. Briscoe runs into the ring, and MJF runs away.

Mark Briscoe beats Claudio Castagnoli with an inside cradle. After the match, Marina Shafir hits Mark Briscoe from behind with a chop block, then Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta show up. Claudio slams Briscoe into an open chair before Moxley says that "Hangman" Adam Page is no champion and decides to make an example out of Briscoe. Hangman says that Moxley was lying when he said he wanted a Texas Death Match, then tells Moxley that he will prove to him that he has what it takes to be a champion, and challenges him to a rematch for the World Championship next week. He then says that Moxley is the challenger this time and will play by his rules, and this time, everyone will be banned from ringside. Hangman then says he knows Moxley's answer will be yes, and that he will see him next week.
