Lance Archer, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, Rocky "Azucar" Romero and Hechicero show up, and Hangman tries to fight them all only for the numbers game to catch up to him. He says he does not need help from the man who would threaten the safety of his family for his own glory, and last week, he made a promise; tonight, he will make another. Hangman says he will never need or accept from Swerve Strickland. However, he will ride into Texas, defeat Jon Moxley, take the briefcase, take the AEW World Championship and hold it above his head, for it is a night for everyone and it will be his night. He says it will not be long before Moxley is exposed as a false martyr and a spin doctor instead of the messiah that he claims to be. Copeland then demands the Moxley that set AEW on fire when he showed up, as that Moxley was not afraid to go toe to toe with him and get in the trenches and is not afraid to suffer, because Moxley will suffer. He hopes that there is some part of the man he knew still in "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher from when United Empire took over Japan and only cared about each other. Ospreay says they are now standing in opposite corner in a steel cage and he is coming in like a wounded animal who has no choice but to fight his brother, and for every knife Fletcher has put in his back, he will stab Fletcher right back.

He says that United Empire was a facade that only allowed Ospreay to stroke his own ego, and in the steel cage, Ospreay will be in a lion's den and he will be hungry for revenge. Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley). MVP says The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) are entertaining and are about making the fans feel good, but The Hurt Syndicates are about violent, savage entertainment and want to make the fans gasp. He says The Outrunners are underdogs and that the fans identify with them because they are also underdogs, then says Shelton and Lashley have only been top dogs and they will make the underdogs suffer and hurt them badly. MVP says that when a dog is suffering, the dog is put down.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling states that The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) should be the team going for the AEW World Tag Team Championships and not The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd). He then gives the Sacramento, California fans a chance to be on their team and state that The Premier Athletes rule, but gets told that they suck.

Backstage, Mercedes Moné is met by Billie Starks, who hands the TBS Championship back to her before giving her a message from Momo Watanabe: enjoy holding the TBS Championship while it lasts, because at Revolution, she is taking it. Billie then throws a whole cup full of tea into Mercedes' face and runs off.

We hear from "Timeless" Toni Storm, who is in bed wearing a neck brace. She says that the nicest thing about being piledriven on the stage is waking up to panicked doctors and dozens of messages asking if she will ever walk again. She says that it gives one time to think if it was either all worth it or a complete waste of time, as her dreams have been haunted by a woman who will not let her wake up. Toni tells "The Glamour" Mariah May "Let's get lucid," as Mariah can pry the AEW Women's World Championship "from her cold, dead hips" while she leaves her soul at home. She also asks if Mariah wants the spotlight that drove her to her in the first place, and says she can give it to her. Toni then says that if Mariah liked Grand Slam Australia, then that show will be foreplay compared to the Hollywood ending that she wants. She says she does not want or need disqualifications, count-outs or rope breaks, and that no holds will be barred and falls will count anywhere. Toni hopes Mariah believes in God before ripping her neck brace off and proclaiming that Mariah will meet Her.

He admits this got on his nerves and he is already pissed off, but what he plans to do to Takeshita is not about revenge, but about the International Championship, as whoever holds the belt is regarded as the best. He says that if Takeshita can beat him three times, then it is time for him to admit that Takeshita is better and that Takeshita is Callis' real meal ticket, and that he could never challenge for another championship again as the old him is gone. Omega then says that he has had an entire year to clear his mind, refocus, hone in on his training and sharpen all his dull points to make weaknesses into strengths after leaving his old friends behind and no longer having the baggage of being an Executive Vice President. He says that his focus is on the International Championship, not because of revenge, not because of Don Callis, and not because of Takeshita, and at Revolution, he is taking the title.

Powerhouse Hobbs and Bandido beat The Learning Tree ("The Redwood" Big Bill and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith).

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for February 26, 2025

Outside of the arena, we see Adam Copeland in an ambulance. Copeland says that the ambulance will be The Death Riders' ride tonight.

In footage from earlier today, MJF says that he will get rid of the biggest mistake of his career and that he will truly bet on himself as the people continue to choose "Hangman" Adam Page instead of him, as "MJF" are the only three letters that matter.

"Hangman" Adam Page is seen entering the arena prior to his match, which is happening next.

"Hangman" Adam Page quickly beats Aaron Solo. After the match, Hangman grabs a metal folding chair and a microphone and says there are three things he hiates: running out of biscuits, English Ivy, and MJF spitting in his face. He then sits in the middle of the ring until MJF is dragged into the ring for a beating. MJF shows up with a bloody towel, then says that if Hangman wants to fight him right now, he must be nuts. MJF calls Hangman an animal devoid of an emotion, then says he will go back home to Long Island, New York and train, then tells Hangman that he is worried about Hangman's friend and that he should check on him. He then says that everyone will find out who is actually real before walking off, then we find out that Christopher Daniels has been laid out and busted open backstage. Hangman heads backstage with the metal folding chair and finds Daniels, and two people backstage (one of whom is independent wrestler Levi Shapiro) check on Daniels.

Don Callis and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher are seen in the skybox.

In backstage footage from earlier tonight, Renee Paquette interviews "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho. Jericho demands an apology from Renee Paquette, then reveals that Mark Davis and Don Callis are behind him, which explains the match between "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith and Will Ospreay tonight. Callis says that sometimes problems need to be outsourced and that he needs somebody who is used to dealing with "degenerate pieces of garbage." Jericho says he chooses to help people, and while bigger is not always better, Bryan Keith is better and has what it takes to be a champion and to beat Will Ospreay.

Will Ospreay beats "The Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith. After the match, Don Callis and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher dare Ospreay to face them at the skybox, and Fletcher and Ospreay soon brawl in the crowd as security moves in to separate both men.

Billie Starkz shows up, and Mercedes splashes her water in her face as she tells her to tell Momo that she made a mistake. As Billie confronts Mercedes, Momo shows up with a baseball bat. Billie tells Mercedes to watch her back, then Mercedes sees Momo and runs away while dropping the TBS Championship. Momo takes the TBS title and says "Bye bye, Money Train" before stating that she wants the title at Revolution.

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana head to the ring. Swerve talks about how he made AEW his house as soon as he showed up and made Black history by becoming AEW World Champion and showcasing the championship to the world. He admits that Prince Nana was right about the AEW World Championship not being his main focus for some time, then says that he is still the man in AEW and that he must prove it with gold around his waist. Swerve then says that he must right some wrongs first, and one of those wrongs is Ricochet wearing Nana's robe. He says that they are done only when he says they are, then Ricochet shows up. Ricochet asks Swerve if he is either stupid or dumb, then says that he is done with Swerve and that Swerve had his chance. He says winners do not chase losers, and that the fans would not understand because of San Diego, California's sports teams. He then says that he will become something Swerve will never be - a champion - then Prince Nana makes Ricochet an offer and states that the fans deserve a rematch. He says that all Ricochet has to do is accept it and that the winner will become the #1 contender for the AEW World Championship. A flustered Ricochet accepts the challenge, then says he will not do it tonight because San Diego's fans are poor, and that they will do it at Revolution instead. Ricochet leaves, then Prince Nana says he is proud of Swerve for taking the steps to become AEW World Champion again, as that is what he and the fans want and that Swerve needs to go back to being the most dangerous man in AEW. He then says he has taken a lot of bullets for Swerve, and that he needs Swerve to get his robe back, as he does not know if he can do this anymore.

This leads to both teams getting heated as Adam Cole vs. Daniel Garcia for the TNT Championship is announced for Collision.

Backstage, Claudio Castagnoli looks for Adam Copeland, but Copeland finds Claudio, and the two of them brawl their way to the ring. Wheeler Yuta soon shows up from behind Copeland and helps Claudio overpower Copeland as Marina Shafir watches on in the crowd. Claudio hits a downed Copeland with a metal folding chair before Shafir grabs another one. That does not stop Yuta grabbing a third for a Con-Chair-To, but "Switchblade" Jay White shows up. This allows Copeland to recover and overpower Claudio and Yuta with a chair, then Shafir gets on top of Copeland from behind for a sleeper. As Copeland breaks the hold, he accidentally moves out of the way of a Busaiku Knee that hits Shafir. Switchblade hits Yuta with Blade Runner, and Copeland soon runs Claudio for a Con-Chair-To. Copeland then does the deed and takes Claudio out, and Moxley shows up only for Switchblade to chase him away. Copeland then goes for another Con-Chair-To, this time to Shafir, but all of a sudden, Willow Nightingale shows up, gets in the ring, grabs a chair and hits the Con-Chair-To on Shafir, much to the dismay of Moxley.

He then has to tell Lashley to stand down, then tells Archer to take himself and The Hurt Syndicate more seriously.
